Well, what is this?
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
That's amazing.
Say that again.
The Lady Gang.
Things are about to change around here.
Each week, we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to Lady Gang.
I am Dr. Evil, here with my little animal on my lap, Callie the Street Dog, with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight.
Doesn't Callie have such a cute cut?
I cut her.
You did this?
Yeah.
That's why it has the lines in it.
I have a dumb question about dogs with fur, because I've only ever had hypoallergenic.
Do they actually have to have haircuts?
well i love that she her eyes are closed right now she's like loving this so much um so with
callie hold on with callie she has a lot of different dogs in her so she'll grow really
long so she has a little bit of terrier where she'll get a big beard beard and then her arms
and legs get really long and she gets really itchy she gets she gets really itchy and she
starts like rubbing her back and stuff and she's hot it's summer so i don't think you actually like
i think a lot of dogs like her would just have their regular hair yeah but then she sheds and
the hair's everywhere so i keep her short because the shedding is like littler if she does shed
and she's happy like this and i think she looks more like a puppy it's a puppy she's so happy
like she really is like the most special dog no she's not yeah she is she's the second most
special dog oh culty hates callie i don't hate callie callie hates me anyway you guys ready dark
okay it's time for good week yes it is bad week oh no i have a bad week and i this is really like
very for those of you who hate me for reasons we know you're gonna really hate me now okay dig in
Okay. So I am having a month long fight over a security deposit from an apartment that I rented
in Vancouver. So this douchebag took $5,000 security deposit. And when it was, I should
have known things were like very, they weren't very responsive. Like it was just like a really,
it was a mess of a, of a situation. And I go, I rent the apartment and then to check to leave
the apartment, you know, you do a walkthrough with the owner of the apartment and they like
mark everything and whatever. Sure. So he tells me that. And so it's the dad is the owner of the
apartment and like the son manages all the rentals or whatever. So the dad's there with me and he's
like, okay, great. So we'll give you the security deposit back in two weeks. Cause we have to wait
to see if there's like any complaints in the building about you or whatever. I'm like, well,
that seems kind of crazy, but whatever. So I had nothing to take off the security deposit except
for like a cleaning fee. Cause I didn't whatever book someone to do that. So months and months,
like literally I just keep checking in. I'm like, Hey guys, what's going on? Like, you know,
what's I, I studied, I like not studied. I Googled the law in Canada and BC is 14 days. You have to
get back. The landlord has to return the security deposit. I'm like, Hey guys, just so you know,
like, I know this is a law, like you need to be, whatever this whole thing goes on in the
rigmarole of the guy who rented the son he starts blaming that he'd had a child a baby on the fact
that he didn't give me five thousand dollars back so he'd be like he would give me like a little bit
of a like how dare you nudge me for this i just had a baby and i'm like this meanwhile he had just
had a baby when i left the apartment which is why the dad was taking care of a lot of things
And I want to be like, mother, I'm a mother.
You had a baby four months ago and you're telling me you can't return somebody's money
to them because you had a baby.
Like how convenient, how convenient of like some idiot guy to blame having, I'm like,
do you know what women do after they've had children?
Do you know that a woman, if she had $5,000 of somebody's money, the first thing she would
do is she'd push that baby out and make sure that that person got their hard earned money
back.
Like, and then I got on this whole thing where I was like, you know, it's really hard for
me to find a woman who lets me down in this way.
Every time I'm disappointed or pissed off or treated like shit or whatever it is, sorry
for all the men out there.
I'm like, this doesn't happen when I'm dealing with women.
This really doesn't happen when I'm dealing with women.
So from now on, I'm only dealing with women.
I'm discriminating against men.
I'm not renting your stupid apartments.
I'm not, I'm literally not doing anything.
I'm going to find women to do every job and to work with across the board, female directors,
female landlords, female, all of it.
You men who are blaming having babies.
I'm like, well, then what's your wife doing?
She had the baby and you can't even return my money.
Yeah.
You bro.
That's an interesting excuse to have.
I think the problem is they spent that money.
Of course they did.
And then they gave it back to me, but like half of it.
And now I'm just too exhausted to even care.
Nothing worse than trying to argue a security deposit.
It's the worst.
It's the worst.
Yeah.
It's the worst.
And also I'm ready to report them because they were actually, I found them on Airbnb.
They were advertising and then they messaged me on the side and they were like, Hey, let
this guy know that you're looking for blah, blah, blah, X, Y, and Z.
So we went around it and that's shame on me.
I should have stuck with something that's tried and true.
And this is a good, this is a good lesson because when you do that back end, it's always
cause they're shady feisters.
Oh yeah.
And I want Airbnb to kick them off and I could get them kicked off in like two seconds, but
I don't want to do that cause there's a baby involved.
Oh, allegedly.
Yeah.
who knows who knows this could be his scam you're just talking about the proof be like
baby picture i'll let you keep this money if you can take a dna test i'm so mad at him i'm so sorry
becca it sucks yeah that sucks it's okay i got him because i pretended to have chelsea pretended to
be someone interested in renting because i thought by her being like hey i my friend told me there's
a great apartment i thought that putting that heat on them they'd be like oh shit she's recommending
people to us so clearly we didn't work it didn't even work wow chelsea's not a great actor no she
was wonderful i coached her on every text message you did every text message hate you um okay my
good week we texted about this the other day i'm very upset because i thought i had like the most
amazing idea ever it was to do a canned beverage and and and instead of an aperol spritz calling
it an Aperol tits, which means it's an Aperol spritz with tequila, which is delicious. Yes.
But then Jack did inform me that Aperol would have to sign off on it because technically Aperol is
its own thing. So we can't make, unless somebody works for Aperol and thinks that Aperol tits is,
would be good for the brand, which probably it is not, but I really want, could it be, I mean,
it can't be a canned cocktail, but can it be a cocktail at your wedding? Like the Aperol tits?
maybe i do want to have like a jacktail at the wedding that's going to be an apple spritz
for the wedding you're right a wedding i mean it is me yeah you could do it i do love it but
i've got to say like jimmy not jimmy johns like jersey mike's apparel is another brand that i've
tried you had to give up on them a million times that was not interested in you play so hard to
get working with me yeah they did send me a bunch of swag once but that doesn't count that's not
I don't think they're into the apparel tits.
I am though.
Okay.
I'll go.
My good week is I am a stomach sleeper,
like through and through,
like nothing can stop me from sleeping on my stomach until recently.
I have trained myself to sleep on my back.
I am now a back sleeper.
Four pillows.
I have to put two pillows down in the back and then I have two pillows on my
sides so i'm in a little fortress yeah and then i can lean back on one of them because we've talked
about how we need to like lean on stuff yeah so i lean on one and then i have my head on the other
one and then i kind of like sleep like a corpse but the problem is now i use all of our pillows
on the bed and jared has one that's the flattest measliest pillow and you look at our bed and i
have like my big fortress on one side and jared has this little floppy pillow that's like 20 years
old welcome to be married to jack vanek selfish party of one and it's just like oh you're taking
all the pillows i was like you can go buy yourself new pillows i know you won't because you just
don't do anything that's not like very like logical for your life i appreciate this for you
because i think women should be more selfish in their relationships because if you weren't you
know there one would say that most women would go and purchase a pillow for their spouse because
they'd feel so guilty about taking over the pillows yeah but no no no sir you're taking
matters into your own hands and he needs to do the same i love you jared but this may be a good
lesson for women that's true i mean i bought all those pillows they're from my apartment i was like
go buy yourself a pillow no you won't men and he won't men won't do anything no in january i was
like hey chris i'm really sick and we had we're like gonna renovate our backyard i was like you
need to be the the person i've done every other renovation look at the backyard guys we're having
we're having a bridal shower very soon and we've got dead grass shit and a pool that's empty so
you know i'm just men unless it's affecting their day-to-day no yeah life they cannot get move the
ball down the court no anything that is like maybe like a little self-care or anything that's just a
little it's it's not needed for survival it's like he won't do yeah i have to do it for him but
he is sleeping very soundly on that one great and i'm like it's all that matters are you sleeping
better so much better i don't know what it is and jared finds me every night because he goes to sleep
after me he's like you were passed out zonked out like a zombie on your back that's great yeah it's
been amazing so highly recommend if you want to try it i know you're a stomach sleeper i do need
to try it yeah i just love smothering my face into that mattress i love squishing my face and
giving myself those permanent wrinkles i'll just surgically fix them i know um my bad week is
another by proxy bad week for jared so we were flying back from the uk from france and zared
jared zonked out on the plane like he was like i was zombied like in bed he was like like sleeping
on the plane i woke him up because they were bringing like some food service something and
i wanted him to be awake he was just like in like our rem sleep could not wake up whatever
he finally starts waking up and is like trying to do something he has an air pod in his ear the air
pod falls off and the air pod thing just goes like flying a couple rows in front of him i hate it so
then he goes and like goes to get up and like jumps out of his seat he seat belted in so he
like goes to jump and he's like thrown back in his seat and then he's like so pissed that that
happened in his air pod cases all the way over there so he like pissed off and like his huffing
and puffing with the seat belt then he goes and stands up bonks his head so hard on the top of
to the point i'm like do you have a concussion and so he's just like like the biggest goon just
like knocking into he does not fit in coach he does not fit in coach it was comfort plus but
still not did not fit in comfort plus so he is just like a mess and it's so pissed huffing and
puffing i'm sitting next to him crying i'm crying because i'm like laughing so hard he's like is
that funny i'm like yes because he gets when he gets like pissed off like he becomes a goon like
a big yeah i pay to see it around and it was just like a series of unfortunate events just like
everything was going wrong like in the plane he's like knocking everything and might have gotten a
concussion wow and i loved it and every time i think about it i start laughing like it's one
of those memories i want to keep in my brain core memory sorry jared i the deep sigh that a man does
when he's frustrated it does something to my insides that like really triggers me yeah and
i'm like why why do you need to do the deep side you need everyone around you to know you're pissed
like it's not enough to feel pissed on the inside you just have to let me know that you don't want
to change this diaper like i never jared will do it when he's like carrying a bunch of boxes for me
or something he'll like huff and puff like it's so heavy and then i'm always like do you need me
to help you with that no i'm like did you just need me to know that you're carrying all this
heavy stuff that's what they needed yeah yeah and hate them okay this is a real man hater episode
sorry everybody um okay we have a man on the podcast as a guest um all right so my bad week
is i had to go and get some blood taken and i've been really poked and prodded these last few months
So the veins are like, they are, so I went, I was at a different place for a different
kind of thing.
And I go and, um, she's like, do you, do you feel faint when you get your blood taken?
I was like, no, babe.
Like I'm good.
I'm getting my blood taken every day at this point.
Like I'll roll up to sleep.
I'm like, this is the good vein over here.
I'll let's go.
So I'm looking at my phone and then she's like, okay, cool.
And so she's going, she's going and she's digging in there.
And I'm like, I start to feel a little faint to be honest with you.
was like oh this is taking a minute here and i look over this needle was so big you guys it was
like a ballpoint pen it was so thick and she was like moving it around trying to get the vein and
i was like i was like yeah i don't know if that's the one and and she was like she pulls it out she's
like she's like oh i'm gonna you know what i'll use a smaller needle i was like why are we using
a big needle bitch that my thought was i think we should start with the small needle but then
someone else told me that for blood, they try to do the biggest needle because it's like hard to
get a lot of, anyway, whatever point aside, she was like, no, no. And so she puts like the little
thing on and then we switched that. I pull my, I pull my, um, like just a little, what's it called?
Um, uh, cotton pad, cotton, little cotton. And then I roll my sleeve down and I do this side.
So she gets the small needle. She does the blood. I'm like, great. Amazing. Okay. So we're done. So
then the doctor comes in and, and he's like, oh, um, cool. Well, good. Like here, everything's
down. I'll let you know what happens. And he's like, by the way, Oh, um, and I'm like looking
like trash. Okay. It's like an 8am appointment. Like there's nothing glamorous about it. And he's
like, he, he's like, um, okay. He's like, yeah, cool. Walk. I'll let you know. And he's like,
by the way, you interviewed me on TV once. And I was like, Oh, and he's like, yeah, yeah. I was
doing like a story on IVs and whatever. And then I was like, well, I met a doctor that like did
IVs on television. That seems so weird. Like, should this be my doctor? Like, anyway, he was
lovely guy and then he's like no everything else good you need a band-aid for that other side
and i was like no i'm good and i roll up my sleeve the whole arm is covered in blood like it has been
bleeding for the 15 minutes we've been talking she didn't put the tape on idiot oh my god so it's
just bleeding the the cotton pad is completely but there's blood everywhere there's blood all
over my sweater it was from express that's upsetting and i i was like oh yeah i was like
no no i'm good i'm good and then i rolled up a little bit i was like well maybe i'm not good
and it's just whatever so he cleans up my arm and does it anyway i just want to say if if i've
interviewed you on tv and we're in a medical setting just keep that to yourself you know
what i mean like i don't want to know hippa like i don't know but yeah yeah like i don't i'm good
to not know i've met you before and he's like well that was like eight years ago and you look great
you look the same and i was like i don't need that either like i think that's nice you do yeah
I mean, I'd always take that compliment.
Me too.
All right.
Not aging.
Here is my good week.
So I went to the Gracie Awards a few weeks ago and I was really excited because the Gracie
Awards are this like women in media event and it's a lot of journalists and people who
host things.
And I was really excited to go.
And I was a presenter, which was a big deal.
So of course I did what I did was I blew it out of the water.
One of the stylists at E helped me get a dress.
And then I had been over at our friend's Michelle Marie PR to get like a bunch of stuff for
my press tour for Superfan.
and they were like, Oh, do you need jewelry for the grace season? I was like, yeah.
And I was like, okay. And then I look and I was like, well, what are, what things are not real
diamonds? Because I don't want to, when you take diamonds from a PR company or a diamond company,
they make you leave your credit card because if you leave, if you lose it, you're responsible to
buy it. And so I actually always hate wearing real diamonds unless they're mine because you
know that I'm going to lose it, you know? So I was like, no, no. I was like, what's not real
diamonds. And they're like, oh, well there's this company that does this monocyte or what it's
called. Moissanite. Moissanite, I believe. And they were like, and they're like, but you still
have to put a credit card down for it. Cause it's real gold. And I was like, okay. So anyway,
long story short, I borrow a ring and some earrings and I wear it to the Gracie's and I've
never fallen in love with a piece of jewelry. I love the earrings. I love the ring. I was so
excited. And so then the next day, like any other Cinderella, I put them in the package and I send
them back to the PR company. And I had posted a bunch like while I was wearing just normal and
the lady, uh, the girl was like, Hey, um, they received, we're all good. And I was like, by the
way, if they want me to post about this ring every day for the rest of my life, I would love to keep
it. It's very, it's a little spendy. It's not spendy. Like if it was a diamond, but it's still
like a couple thousand dollars, you know? And I was like, Ooh, wow. And I was just joking. Cause
I didn't think they'd give it to me. They wrote back and they were like, we love you. And we
would you don't have to post at all ever again but like if you love the ring that much we'd love for
you to keep it so it's my 10-year wedding anniversary in august um and so chris does
not have to buy me a new jewelry because my engagement ring is a big i mean i've been
married for so long now it's a big triple halo big boy and i love her and i'm wearing her more
in a cocktail setting now i do still wear her i love that and i talked to chris and i was like
for 10 years should we reset it so it's like a little bit more wearable for every day and he was
like no like i designed that ring like i feel like you know he's very like sentimental and he
did and it was a moment you know so anyway they gave me this ring they didn't ask me to say this
on the podcast but i just want to let you guys know if you're i know so many people are getting
engaged and it's like the rings are so expensive for the diamonds this looks rad what's the name
of the company it's called east west co can i try it on it's so pretty and it looks a little
bit like your engagement ring and i felt bad but then it's like i copy everything becca does so
I knew she wouldn't be mad.
Oh, it is.
It is literally.
But yours is not square.
Mine's a circle.
Mine's a circle.
This is beautiful.
Very pretty.
I love it.
Isn't that pretty?
Yes.
And it looks like a real diamond.
Yeah.
It's east, west.
It's pretty good.
Wow.
Yeah.
Anyway, so I was really excited about that and I've been wearing it and it's making me
feel really happy inside.
That's it.
Okay.
Should we do a show?
Yeah.
Okay.
Y'all.
Y'all.

and wellness called lemons and one gave us a shirtless bubble bath pick on instagram that
received over 400 000 likes with the caption spent 45 minutes setting up this bath just to get sweaty
five minutes after getting in please welcome the host of the squeeze podcast tay and tay lotner
i think that was the best intro actually ever i don't know how anyone's gonna ever top that
so good thank you so much and i was just really proud of myself because i know everywhere you go
people are like twilight twilight and i was like no we're not doing that we're talking about the
important shit okay you in the bubble bath with the bubble bath head you know everyone wants that
picture and you gotta have the right consistency of bubbles and it's got to be you know warm enough
to get in fully like anyway i'm proud of you thank you i i appreciate that doing the lord's
effort. Um, guys, this is so exciting to have you. How did you decide? I like that you have
the lemon behind you. How did you decide that this was going to be the new era?
Um, you know, that's a really good question. I kind of just like woke up one day and had the
idea. Obviously mental health is a large part of my life. Uh, it's been a part of my life for
like growing up, but never, I never personally struggled with my mental health until I worked
as a COVID nurse. Um, and then I started my mental health blog and nonprofit. And then I woke up one
day and I was like, Hey babe, I think I want to start a podcast. Meanwhile, I don't even know
what podcasts are. I don't listen to them. I know nothing about them. So to this day, I don't really
know anything about them, but, um, I was like, I want to do a podcast. And he was like, cool.
I was like, but you're going to do it with me. And he was like, but if I was like, yeah, it's
going to be great. And at first he was just supposed to be my part-time co-host, but then
we filmed our first two episodes and then he was like so can i be your full-time co-host or and i
was like i knew you're gonna ask that yes you can smart girl it was your plan all along the long
con yeah did he have to audition um i think our whole relationship was him auditioning he's just
he's just so good at talking with people and things and i knew he was going to be really
great at it but he himself he didn't see his potential but i saw it in him um boy tay have
you ever done voiceover like stuff because i sorry i'm just having a revelation in the first
five minutes of this podcast like i need you to be reading every audiobook that's ever existed
it's funny enough it's actually what i started with um when i first first started acting
um voiceover is like all i did but i was a child child um and i haven't done any in a very very
long time but yeah i um funny enough when i was a kid i was in scooby-doo um a charlie brown
television movie oh danny phantom random things but yeah voiceover stuff uh was like all
I could get when I first started acting. That's so funny. I would listen to you read bad news.
I swear to God. The squeeze bad news edition. It's just like Monday mornings, you need something to
grumble with. And it's just boy tape being like, well, the stock market's down and it's a huge
recession. I'm so into this. Okay. I want to talk. So our Jack Vanek here is getting married in
September and she's so excited. And I know that she's going to be, she has every detail planned.
And if Jared is not crying as she walks down the aisle, like it's a no-go, like the wedding probably she'll turn around and go.
And then I watched your wedding video and your vows, boy Tay, and you were just crying sack of tears.
And it was so sweet.
Did you know, have you always been this person?
And girl Tay, what was your reaction to that?
Yeah, I was the one that demanded we had to do a first look.
because i wouldn't have been able to like stand seeing her walk down the aisle for the first time
so yeah i um i definitely get um a little emotional sometimes um but the the first look
helped uh but yeah the vows pushed me over the edge that was a freaking nightmare yeah i knew
it was going to be a waterwork show for during the vows just the whole my my entire vow is every
three words i would have to stop to sniffle and it was so ridiculous but yeah they were good
okay so girl tay girl tay um is a nurse and has gone through went through nursing school and we
watched the evolution of that and so i've been doing a lot of health stuff the last few months
and i've been poked and prodded like multiple times every week and some people are like smooth
like butter and some people it's like a jarring like poke when when you're a nurse and you're in
school at what point do you learn the needles and at what point how do you learn it is it is it
really a tomato and then at what point like how good are you at needles before they let you start
poking humans is my question yeah i like this question it was bad and then it was good good job
um when did so like nursing school obviously you do like your prereqs in the nursing school
itself is two years it's four semesters um i honestly probably first semester you learn how
to do it we had at my school we had like these dummy arms that had like veins in them and you
would practice like poking on those and if you would get it when the needle goes in you'll get
like a little flash we call it of blood so you know you're there and then that's when like you'll
push the catheter and retract the needle like if you're doing an iv um but we practice on arms
on fake arms and then you practice
on people. She wanted to practice on me
all the time.
We would bring stuff home from the hospital.
I ended up doing nursing
school with my best friend and we would
like to poke each other all the time.
It sounds super fun. We're fine with it.
I think, I don't know what
I myself was
pretty decent at it. I think you just need to
have patience and you can
visualize where it's
going. I was at
UCLA once getting poked and the
girl was so nervous. And she was like, I'm so sorry. I'm a student or the nurse came in. She's
like, would you mind a student working on you? I was like, sure. And I'm assuming that this student
has put, had needled many people. And we're like at the end of training because you're at UCLA
hospital. And then she starts doing my needle. And I was like, this is this bitch's first human.
Like she's so she's like, ah, and she couldn't, it was like, and I'm a really nice person. And I
was like all about the student. And then like after the ninth attempt, I was like, you know
what i'm about to pass out so i'm gonna move this along to professional but good luck and i feel
like you're in the wrong profession but live your life yeah that's a little i had that same
experience i had but she this one was she was like a really old nurse or doctor whatever she was
and uh it's for like the physicals you have to do before you do a movie oh yeah yeah and
I was like, when were you at the doctor's office last?
Yeah, no, it was, yeah.
And this was a long time ago, but she's, she's older and she just kept, I hate needles.
I hate veins, everything.
And so I'm just like looking away.
I'm just like, go ahead, do your thing.
And she's like, oh, and I'm like feeling her miss it.
And I'm like, I'm just like jolting and I give her like three times.
And then I finally look, I'm like, everything okay?
She's like, yeah, your veins are just super rolly.
i just keep missing please don't tell me the details about my veins and it took her six tries
to get it in and i was like i told myself this is the last time i'm allowing it and then i'm
walking out the store and she got it oh i don't like rolly is it
that's what they do they they roll thank you and then you did nurse through covet and then
did you are you still nursing now or are you like i can't do it no i'm not in the hospital anymore i
did it for like a year and i actually ended up getting covid really bad ironically not from
the hospital i literally worked as a covid nurse and never got it um and she got it from me
visiting me for a weekend memorial day and i gave it to her yeah and uh she got it brutally
yeah so i ended up being out of work for like two months because i was so sick
uh yeah i had to like go on disability it was like a whole thing uh so i was like okay well
maybe we're gonna leave maybe this is god the universe telling me i need to um not be here
anymore uh yeah that was i haven't been back to the hospital since um okay uh boy taylor i saw
video of you online doing some like side or sports reporting and i thought you were fabulous and i
was wondering if you might be doing this you know i'm a tv host by nature and i thought this could
be a very wonderful job for you would you ever would you ever consider like joining a sports
center or doing like a real or was it just because it was like your hometown team or something yeah
i'm a football american football fanatic um so i do i do know yeah i do know a lot about football
and i could sit and talk about football for days her dream actually is for us to like go to new
york for a few months and me just like co-host good morning football or something like that
out of knowledge that this man has of football is just like insane and like you keep up with
the host and he's so good at it so but i was super super nervous because like on a normal talk show
i mean i'm still nervous i get nervous for everything but talking about football i'm like
i really want to sound sharp here so i was definitely terrified on that i love your
relationship i just met you and i feel like there's like a cool vibe of like i understand
why you're married like it's it's all there like it's so crazy you're you're neither one of you is
a psychopath i don't know how you end up in hollywood it's so true you're way too normal to
be like taylor has not taken over the podcast by telling a story about himself that we don't care
about which is like how normally narcissistic hollywood people like me go on a podcast so like
this is incredible this is you're way too good for this whole business that's true the men are
usually the worst with that oh my god yeah let me tell you a story about what yeah oh my god um
what's the best thing about being married and what's the worst thing about being married and
be honest because we have a future bride to be i know i want to talk about that um
best thing see we people ask us all the time they're like does it feel different like how
does it feel and we're like it's kind of a boring answer but no like it doesn't we've been together
for over five years now almost and um just had our six months so we're like it doesn't really
we felt the biggest difference when we got engaged true that was like yeah that was it
in our minds that was like oh we're married like that was like it's like the biggest yeah the the
wedding was just like a celebration and like super super fun but yeah the engagement definitely was
more of like this feels awesome hey what's the worst thing about being married maybe it's just
But maybe Tay feels like more so entitled to tell me to put the toilet paper thing back on or when I take out the trash to make sure I just don't take it out and I have to put the new trash bag back in.
A lot of those rules.
Rules.
Yeah.
Funniness.
That's the rule.
Funniness.
Just not being a schmuck.
Don't be a frat boy.
That's it.
I've learned.
Baseline.

And so the squeeze in your community, you really are all about mental health and moving this
forward. And this is something that I mean, we all have talked about and been a part of in our
podcast why was it this was your focus was it the covid that covid that moved the needle yeah i think
um how we kind of picked it was like obviously mental health has been in both of our lives
um very different things you know taylor growing up in fame and having uh the success and the height
of fame that very very very few celebrities endure and him coming from that background me
coming from a background of nursing, but also having a lot of addiction in my family.
I lost a good friend. He had bipolar. He took his life. So I have a lot of like that background. So
I feel like us coming together also as a married couple to like talk about mental health just kind
of like brings about like cool perspectives because we are, we're so similar, but we are
so different. I think the big thing for us is, yeah, we do come from those different backgrounds.
And but I think what really did it is meeting each other.
And as soon as we felt comfortable, not comfortable enough with each other, we both separately addressed our own mental health for the first time, I think, for a long time.
That was something that I just never thought of, like, you know, starting in this business at eight years old and just like, you know, I got to keep working and got to stay focused.
like don't have time to address mental health how i'm doing um should i be talking to somebody
anything like that and then as soon as we started like you know getting deep in conversation you
know tay was going through her own things and i think it kind of just hit us both around the
same time that like maybe we need to like talk to somebody or maybe we need to let you know
focus on our own mental health a little more and dive a little deeper um so i think that is really
what did it for us is we both started that journey together and separately um and then it kind of
just clicked yeah it's actually a really good point like you there you can kind of go your
whole life if you don't have a partner that you're really like doing it with and having to
look at every day and talk to every day like you could go your whole life without addressing your
own issues, you know, and when you have a partner and you're like, you're, I can't escape this
person. I can't escape these interactions or these conversations. Like a lot of the time,
that is the first time people have a reckoning, if you will, with their mental health or their
own demons or whatever you want to refer to it as. So it's, it's really cool. And it's also
going to be so nice for couples to see that this can happen. And these conversations can happen
together because a lot of the time to generalize men are really resistant to it and and having
hard conversations and talk about themselves and their feelings and so i think this is awesome i
think it's going to really bring couples together and have conversations they maybe wouldn't have
yeah that's that's definitely one of the goals because it's it's been awesome for us it really
like as good as it is for you know our listeners and viewers like true selfishly it's been so cool
for us. Every episode after we're like, Oh, like I learned this or I related to this, or maybe this
is why I do this. Or like just every time we're like, wow, that was insightful. It would cost us
a lot in therapy. Yeah. We just get to do it here in our house. So nice. I just have one final last
question. I want to end on something happy. Okay. So that's like, we're going to pop up. I'm going
to bop up. Taylor, boy, Taylor, I know that they announced a new twice. So I need to tell you some
backstory so my best friend on the planet is christina perry who wrote the thousand years
wedding song yes it's my best friend i used to date her brother when i was in my 20s and her
brother dumped me after like three weeks and she was like i'm not breaking up with you and we've
been best friends for 25 years weren't you living with christina when that song like blew up yes so
well i i knew the dance so she got the jar of hearts song got put on so you think you dance
And I was friends with the choreographer and I gave the demo of that song to the choreographer
and the choreographer was like, I want to use it. And we're like, we don't even have a real
recording of this. And then she got a record deal. And then she did a thousand years, but she was
like, as you guys know, and I know you've done press with her. She's like the biggest Twi heart
of all time. Like she literally has like her entire arm is tattoos. I remember her old shitty
apartment in LA had all the book covers like framed. We had no money. We didn't have money
to buy a frame. Like, how did you get the book cover, rip it apart and then put it anyway.
she was like nutso bananas um and so obviously i'm still best friends with her she lives 10
minutes from me here in la um and it's a big deal that the twilight tv series is coming back a big
deal for us in the christina perry household um who would you like to play if it's i know they
haven't decided if it's based like a continuation or prequel or whatever but like if someone had
to play you is there like a hollywood person that you really like that think could do you justice
yeah that's a good question um because i think thinking of somebody younger than me i mean
there is no i mean you haven't aged you look exactly the same so like if you want the role
it's yours you know thank you i appreciate that no i mean i really i can't imagine i just can't
imagine them recasting everybody and it just i don't know if it feels too soon or like you know
i know they're doing the harry potter thing and they are doing that but and that's also weird
also weird i don't want it nobody asked for it who asked for this nobody asked it's so strange
but i do feel like with them at least like when they started in those movies they were like
10 years old so they're literally gonna have kids and like i don't know imagining like a new
bella edward and jacob i need like another 20 years to go by it feels too soon if they want
to do that um yeah it's like you're not gonna be are you gonna go to the red carpet and be like
you need to be like clint eastwood level where you're like i'm so excited about the new jersey
boys you know what i mean like that makes sense like clint we get it you didn't want to drop to
the death drop like on tv anymore you know it does feel soon it feels soon and i also think i i mean
christina we've talked about this a lot because we're i'm like are you gonna write the song for
it um because you know the whole story about christina like she wrote that song and then
they didn't make it the wedding song they picked a different song and then her song got bigger and
she was like i knew anyway long story short i don't like it i don't want it um but i'm happy
for you if your residuals go up because of it and that's all i know i i am i am equally as curious
to see what they are gonna do i yeah i i selfishly i will i will support it either way but i selfishly
can't wrap my mind around them like recasting and having just like starting over so soon
but i mean it has been a decade but yeah it is too soon it's too soon it's too soon yeah
especially i guess like so many like like young kids now read the books and watch the movies like
it's just getting into it yeah and it has like a resurgence like in the last couple of years too
so yeah it still is like like i feel like we need to wait a little bit to die down and then
yeah well like pop off even more yeah we'll see maybe maybe they're not doing that and it's gonna
me some sort of spinoff other world yeah other world yeah other vampires that exist or whatever
becca would you be so pissed right now if they're like we're gonna do the new glee and they cast a
younger version of you but you're still young oh i think they're definitely gonna do a new glee soon
like i just i just feel like that's inevitable like that's yeah yeah i feel like they because
that that not just glee but like that format of like the music for a tv show like there was
zoe's extraordinary playlist and smash like there's nothing yet like there hasn't been something like
that so i'm like i'm sure there's someone out there that's and that's totally fine with me
because the ship has sailed you don't want to do it no thank you no thank you i i think it would
be great okay um listen the tailors you are just as lovely as we thought you'd be so congratulations
