Starting point is 00:00:00 well what is this welcome to the lady gang that's amazing say that again the lady gang things are about to change around here each week we catch up with hollywood's hottest girl posse kelty knight becca tobin and jack vanik hello hello hello welcome to lady gang i am becca tobin here with jack vanik and kelty knight Hello. Hi, ladies. What's up? What's up, queens? Hello, everyone. Do you miss me? I miss you so much. Oh, my God. Wait, can we just get into Good Week, Bad Week, because I really need to talk about it. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yep. Okay. It's time for Good Week. Yes, it is. Bad Week. Oh, I have to go first because you'll see I'm covering my face with my mic.
Starting point is 00:00:52 You guys, okay, so today's, we're recording this, it's Tuesday. We just wrapped tour this past weekend. Yeah. And we had our show in Phoenix and we had a show in San Diego. I don't know what happened at these shows, but I sat down in the makeup chair yesterday at E. Well, first of all, my nose has started to be really sore on the right side. And I was like, oh, I have like a little bit of a bad tooth root, if you will. It kind of flares up sometimes.
Starting point is 00:01:20 It's like a tooth root. I should have had a root canal and I didn't. And like, so it just gets sore sometimes when I get tired or whatever. The tooth root was hurting. And then I sat down, I woke up and I was like, whoa, my face. And then I sat down to make up last night and the makeup artist, Liz, was like, what's up with your face? You guys, the whole side of my face, I don't know if you can tell in this video, is swollen.
Starting point is 00:01:39 My lip looks like I got lip injections on one side. Do you see it? kind of yeah well what did you do kelty started before we started recording before you got here becca she goes did i fall in phoenix yeah and then she asked me when i got on she said do you remember me falling and then you have cuts on the other side of your face is that what's going on okay the the my eyebrow is all sore like i need to ice it i have a cut on the end of my nose and cuts on here and a cut behind my ear and there was so much blood on my ear that she had to clean it off with a paper towel. Like it didn't even come off in the shower. So it's both sides of
Starting point is 00:02:15 my face. What happened, Becca? Because we never told. So this is like housewives when Heather Gay woke up with a black eye. Oh yeah. Well, I don't know. You didn't do. Okay. Well, let's give, let's give like a backstory. Let's rewind. Actually let's rewind. Cause it has, let me go to my good week, bad week. Cause it has to do with you having cuts on your face. Okay. Okay. So, um, we finished the tour and while it wasn't our most laborious schedule we've ever had, it was still, you know, like craziness. So in all these other cities leading up to our final weekend, we've, we've like had cocktails on stage. We've gotten tipsy. We've had like some wild nights for some reason. No, I know why, you know, why in Phoenix, because we met two gals in VIP
Starting point is 00:03:06 ex-mormons who bought us all a round of fireball shots and it was their first time ever trying fireball so we couldn't say no and then it just set the night off because that's what fireball does we were on fuego fuego fuego ball and we so anyways from there it was just absolutely chaotic right i was so intoxicated that we i have a quick change if you guys have seen footage of the tour, I learned the DCC Cowboys, a little snippet from their thunderstruck dance. So I have a quick change that I have to do from my outfit into my, my beautiful Marshall's outfit into my cheerleader costume. I was so drunk that my good week is Derek is very loyal to Kelty and will do most things for her, like put lubricant all over her body, makes lube those stems or
Starting point is 00:03:59 grease those stems or whatever they call their, their routine. They have intimacy, right? He's seen her naked. There's a lot, but I have finally, I have trumped the intimacy. I have taken it to the next level. I had to pee so badly because I had been drinking so much that during my quick change, I did not have enough time to go to the bathroom that was across the hall. And I looked at Derek and I said, I have, I'm about to have to dance and kick my face. I have to pee. And there's a plastic cup right next to us, a little bar area in the kitchenette in the green room. and Derek goes, all right, pee in this cup. So I go, it was my idea, I think. And he just approved. And so I go and I pee in the cup. And when I tell you it was the size of a solo cup,
Starting point is 00:04:45 it's a clear solo cup. And I start peeing. And then I realized it's about to overflow. I peed so much that he then had to, I was like, wait, give me another one. Give him another one. And I'm passing him my full urine cup. And then he's passing me a new solo cup to finish off the job so i have officially become derrick's most high maintenance uh boss adjacent boss and we have an intimacy level that i don't is unmatched even my husband has not seen me urinate like that in a cup in a cup and then you had to be like bye i'm out dcc out and then what did he do with the pee there was a little bit of urine that sprinkled on the floor luckily it was a concrete floor easy to clean. But Derek had to then dispose of that. So that is that was pretty horrific. But also I
Starting point is 00:05:35 feel very close to Derek now and he'll never leave us. And then my bad week is that Kelty also got so incredibly intoxicated. We go back to the hotel. And we share a room in Phoenix because Jared's there. So Jack and Jared have their room Kelty and I have my and I have our room we get in bed and at this point she's like drunk but not crazy right we're both just like turn the lights off we got to go to sleep i'm dozing off i'm just barely hitting rem when suddenly skelty leaps out of bed runs across the room passes my bed and i'm like she's scurrying through it was a horror movie and then i hear her in the bathroom vomiting vomiting oh my god so then i'm like you know what i'm gonna give it a minute i'm sure she's gonna be
Starting point is 00:06:30 back out here in her bed in a second but if she's not out in a couple minutes i'll go in and check on her she's not out in a couple minutes she's not she's in on in the bathroom on the toilet fully nude head to toe nude everything's out like you do look like golem when i'm naked because i just have like a very square flat alien body but like super long limbs and then that big old head you're not wrong and i she's golem on the on the toilet and especially more golem-esque while intoxicated and i look over at the sink and i have this plastic cosmetic really pretty and i look at it and in it there's vomit oh there's vomit because she clearly tried to make it into the bathroom and went for the sink first and while going for the sink she vomited all over
Starting point is 00:07:26 this cosmetic everything and then did you just leave it no i luckily for me that i mean vom listen it's not my number it's not like the thing i want to be dealing with but i would rather deal with vomit than like you know other things spit spit I don't want to I mean it's kind of spit though but it's different yeah I'm not somebody who throws up at the sight of throw up because there are a lot of people who do my sister is one of them so I was thinking as I was cleaning it off of the cosmetic case because I did not want that to dry overnight was the case closed or was it open with all your makeup it was like a trifold it's a trifold so the makeup luckily everything in it was covered ish. There was only like a little bit open. So I was able to run it under
Starting point is 00:08:10 the hot water and, and pretty much take care of the whole thing. But, um, yeah, so that was, that was my bad. We bombed in your makeup bag. Yeah. And then the next morning I was like, do you want me to buy a new one? She's like, no, no, I'll clean it. I was like, damn, you are a mom. Like that's impressive. So I have no, and so I just don't know what happened in the bathroom you would have heard it, Becca. I would have heard it. It wasn't, I just, I don't know what happened. I don't remember you like my whole mouth is screwed up. I know I have a photo on my, on my photos. That's like Derek holding my head on stage while I lay down. I don't remember that either. That was just when we were doing the Ryan Ross segment and you were just like,
Starting point is 00:08:50 it was wild. So I just, you know, I was pretty messed up. Um, I'd love to know when that happened. Me too, because like, it actually really hurts. So I'm annoyed with myself. My bad week is my extra bad week. So that was my bad week. This is my extra bad week is that last night, my face, it hurts. It feels like I got punched in the face. Like it, it is, I'm icing it. Like it hurts to talk like great. And last night I was like, well, I'm just in so much pain. Let me just take like a pain medicine or something, but I don't have anything really anymore. so I went back through like you know have you like old bottles of like a couple things or whatever I have no idea what I took but oh and then I hadn't pooped in four days because we were on
Starting point is 00:09:35 tour and I was so hungover and we were eating breakfast sandwiches so I did something last night at about 11 o'clock which it was a huge mistake I ate half a plum yeah and I took an oxycodone something I've not slept I was up I pooped my pants all night I slept in the other bedroom because i had i could not sit down without getting up like it's been a mess of a five days i feel like my whole tank is empty i'm a mess and i just that's it like i'm so thankful to those mormons and thank you for the the fireball shots i will be going i will i've actually strongly considering not drinking till lady world you literally you made such a funny comment because we were like after we're kind of drinking before the show you were like what did you say something
Starting point is 00:10:21 like i really like love to drink but i don't want to be a drinker like you said some weird phrase that you kept saying yeah i just don't want to be a drinker but i really like to drink i was like you could have two drinks and not be a drinker like you're just like i i'm just so there's such a dilemma and i was like this is you were hilarious though and we really needed that energy she's an all or nothing person she can't do what we do i mean listen i'm calling them the pot calling the kettle black because i also was a disaster human peed in a cup but on most days that i'm drinking it does not end in that way no i have like a glass of wine usually one yeah okay jack what's yours okay so my good week is uh so we obviously had all of our vip meet and
Starting point is 00:11:09 greets we got to meet so many of our lady gangers which is i think the best part of doing these shows is like connecting with all of you and i can't remember what this wonderful lady gangers name was but i think it was in phoenix and she was wearing our um official founding member of the lady gang tank top it was the first piece of merch that we have ever made a lot of you still have it i think we made 300 and never made them again and that's we said we're never going to make them again and then she was talking about how she's also coming to lady world and she's like you guys should try to do something special for you know original lady gangers so i think that we're going to take her advice and do some sort of special mixer for anybody that still has that
Starting point is 00:11:49 goddamn t-shirt so it's a tank top the tank top says original member of the original member of the lady gang that's what it was so i think we're gonna have like it's probably gonna be the most intimate event of it might just be her and us we've seen those tanks a few times on this tour yeah people still have them that'll be fun that'll be a very intimate event so if you're coming to lady world and you have that tank let us know so we know if we need to buy three drinks four drinks or five drinks 20 drinks 20 drinks um i just thought that was such a good idea because i'm like and that's why it's like we want to ask you guys like what you want because i think that we would have never come up with that and it's so genius no and before you do your wait that's
Starting point is 00:12:32 your good week right good week yeah before you do your bad week i do want to say everyone we're doing a special deal in December. So you remember when lady world went on sale and everyone was like, I want to be in the top 300 because the top 300, the first 300 buyers got to, they get to go to this cocktail hour that we're sponsoring, like a welcome cocktail hour with us and other people. And it sold out like in two seconds. So we're like, Oh God. Um, so we decided this thing. If you book your lady world passes by December 20th, whether you've already booked or you're coming to book this week, if you book by December 20th, we're entering all of those people that didn't get in the top 300 into a lottery and we're going to pick 50 people that get added on to come to the
Starting point is 00:13:12 cocktail hour so it'll be 350 of us it'll be like our own little wedding but we're so excited and we just like you know we want to know how many of you are coming so it's like we're we love to know but like it's like december 20th you just have to buy your pass you don't have to worry about your accommodations your flights or anything like that just get your pass whether you're a solo lady or with a group by december 20th and then you're automatically entered and if you bought your passes when they first went on sale you're entered too yeah sorry everyone's commercial okay commercial commercial break my bad week is simple it's quickly it's quick um i have celsius too close to the sun um so you guys know i have that walking pad and my adjustable desk so i like
Starting point is 00:13:50 walk on it every morning and i've been doing it while i've been having my celsius and i also go on my computer and answer emails and stuff so i was doing that the other day drinking my celsius and i knocked my celsius all over my computer brand new computer by the way that i just bought for lady gang um a couple months ago and it went all over my keyboard it was so bad no it's fine i don't know apple but this has happened to a friend of mine and they're like just wait and four months your computer will just like completely shut off but i am i'm good so far i hope you back sticky up well i i'd save everything to uh dropbox so i wouldn't i would just have to get a new computer which would suck but um yeah it went all over my keyboard um i still do love you celsius
Starting point is 00:14:36 because maybe there's something special in you that water would have destroyed the computer but here we are celsius was looking out for you it really was thank you celsius well we're very excited to have our guest coming up next now back to the lady gang our guest today is raw as a cucumber of the most famous reality stars in the world she starred on the iconic housewives of new jersey she crushes the new season of house of villains on e and she has her own hit podcast turning the tables and today we invited her to have a chat with us because it's good to laugh and release those endorphins and sarah goddigans what was the quote you said please welcome the queen of the housewives castle theresa judice
Starting point is 00:15:17 judice judice all the way all the way e has made me say your name in the last 10 years thank you thank you guys i'm so excited finally you know kelty i know we've been wanting to get to do this together and finally you know now it's here i know so let's just start with over the past 15 years of my career i've been told to say your name 15 different times and then every person And every producer is like, no, no, this is the way. Can we clear it up once and for all? And I'll literally replay this when I'm in the VO booth. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:50 The way this is the way, cause I know my husband, like, since I grew up with my husband, so I, we, he always, there's two ways to say our last name, but the, the American way, just like the normal way that my husband always says, Jew dice, Jew dice. That's it. Very easy. G I U and then dice D I C E. but the italian way it's uh the last name means judge like sort of like judice like that judice that's the italian way but like that's not even hard though like i think people should be able
Starting point is 00:16:25 to do that yeah judice but we i mean since i've known joe he's always said judice so we just say judice love it not us we say a lot of other things we say a lot of things risa how are you i mean it's been a big time you have blonde highlights you've dissolved your lip filler you're like a new woman yeah I mean I know well I got new extension just today and I wanted to because this is since I've been since my 20s anytime I get my roots done they always make me black it's like I'm not you know I do have dark brown hair like brown hair not black but they always make me black so it's like I had a I was trying to take out the blackness in my roots and then so we put new extensions in so I started out this color so now I'm gonna see if I want to stay like this but I really want to be
Starting point is 00:17:15 like a rich brown it's pretty I like the color I do a lot it does make you look young and when did you dissolve your lip filler I got my lips done um dissolved like I would say maybe like maybe a month ago. Yeah. A month ago. It looks great. Thank you. Now the look is like only in the center, like more like a pouty look, like that's the whole look. So yeah. And then it's like, you know, like I get a lot of messages on my Instagram, like, Oh, your lips, your lips. It's like, I liked my lips. I really did. But my hairdresser got hers dissolved and hers were like really huge and when she got hers dissolved I got scared because hers looked
Starting point is 00:18:00 they looked different than what they were and I was like oh my god I don't want to get mine dissolved are mine going to look like that once I got mine dissolved they didn't look bad at all like everyone kind of liked when I got them dissolved so then I just went back and I just got a little bit like in the
Starting point is 00:18:16 center put back in yes but they're different they are different yeah so they're not as wide now yeah because the look is more in the center it's like right like in the center like top and bottom did it hurt like hell to get dissolved no very easy because that's the thing so bad i mean listen i'm 52 i'm not gonna hide it um and like now like now i'm starting to get like botox and filler whatever whatever i need listen i go to somebody and then i tell them what do you think i need
Starting point is 00:18:49 and then i you know you trust these people and listen they're they're not god so if they make a mistake don't be afraid to dissolve it so and that's you know because i did get a little filler on top over here and i didn't like the way it looked so i got it dissolved oh like above the lip like the nasal fold or whatever like right here yeah because i from getting my lips dissolved then it this looked weird it's like so crazy it's like if you touch one thing then it messes up another thing so then I got it I got filler put in there and I hated the way I looked like I looked weird so I just got that dissolved so now I'm just waiting you know to see you know now I'm gonna because you have to wait like after you get a zombie wait two weeks before you do anything else
Starting point is 00:19:36 well you're going back in time you're like looking like a 25 year old so whatever you're doing now was working oh thank you I've never I listen I want to try to prevent a facelift as much as I can because I'm terrified like I don't like to go underneath the knife the only thing I've gotten done with are I did my boobs and my nose and I just don't want it like I don't know I'm just terrified with the whole facelift thing because my friends sent me photos of it and it looks scary it does look scary and then I think my kids I'll scare my kids and my husband like I don't want to do that so yeah now the last time you visited us at e we discussed chopping your hair and you cut it for like four days and then you put your long extensions back in where are we at on your chic
Starting point is 00:20:23 haircut theresa i know i did because kelty i you inspired me i loved your i was like i want my hair to look like kelty's it was a wig but live your life oh it's a wig okay but kelty you know what having shorter hair is a lot more work like you have to do your hair every single day when you have short hair that's what I noticed so I was like forget this I don't want to do my hair like I'm just saying when you have longer hair it lasts longer yeah like you can sleep on it and brush it out and it's fine the next day well I mean I put my hair up like I don't really sleep on it because I feel like if you sleep on it then you'll mess it up like you know it's just it's not all over the bed like I put it up in a clip or if you twist it around like in a scrunchie you could do that
Starting point is 00:21:10 too but with short hair I just feel like you have to always style it and I'm not good with hair as it is so I was like listen I'm going back to my long hair and you know you only could wear long hair for so long and I'm like I might as well rock it until I can't wear it anymore hell yeah it's well although I feel like now it's changed I think you can wear your hair long at any age as a woman because now we're just like accepting that women are sexy and playful like later in life but did you hear the quote of the high body count hair from salt lake city housewives no no tell me someone made a comment about how one of the women has high body count hair meaning like it's it looks like she's slept with many people because her hair is like so full and voluptuous and she's
Starting point is 00:21:56 got extensions or whatever but i feel like it's a compliment you have high body count hair is that the one that has the boyfriend that they're like on and off yes yes britney britney britney i like her i like her too yeah and like you know she gives it right back to them you know like yeah so i've been i've been watching i've been watching like you know here and there but you have to say salt lake city they're on fire on fire yes so good yeah um so you were just on house of villains i'm not spoiling anything for anyone that hasn't completed watching yet because your news is news but um the craziest meme is going around Teresa I don't know if you saw it but it's of New York and she's like having this serious conversation with you and she's like you know
Starting point is 00:22:42 Teresa I just I always respected you because I respected your hairline on tv and then and then you go okay I what was happening in that moment and like were you confused and do you believe you have a great hairline for television like what's happening yeah I mean listen that was like just something so random that you come up to someone and say um so I was just like okay and then I was like but yeah everyone does respect my hairline everyone always compliments me on my hairline so I was like okay so it's like I had to get to know New York and her and her you know sarcasm and you know is I mean I have to say I love how you know witty and quick she is and how she says the craziest things just she just comes out with and just says it you know so i you know i totally
Starting point is 00:23:30 respect her so yeah and she's like my hairline so i was like okay i took it as a compliment i just think it's so funny like when when she came with you like i want to tell you something serious i know like and i always respected your hairline and you're like okay yeah and if you know me i mean you have to really get to know me like i'm very easygoing i just go with the flow and like so i was just like listening to her i was like okay and and you know i was like i thought there was going to be more and that's all there was you know yeah um okay i want to know some things about just being a celebrity in your life and so andy cohen is your boss technically what do you send andy it's the holiday season like what do you send andy cohen as like a thank
Starting point is 00:24:21 you for the year or a happy holidays gift i don't like he he sends us gifts oh yeah it's nice yeah i mean i i you know of course i'll text him mary you know oh no he's he's jewish so you know you know happy holidays like that happy holidays kisses to the kids and you know you know enjoy you know your holidays you know with your family that's it i you know we always do texts back and forth to each other but he usually sends us a gift like i you know i've gotten him gifts for you know his babies um but that's pretty much it do you feel pressure because he's so rich to like really get something nice or do you like no because i get i give good gifts i don't you don't have to answer this to confirm or deny but when i watch andy at the reunions i always try to
Starting point is 00:25:11 gauge how he feels personally about each housewife and i have always felt that he consistently genuinely really loves you. And I really like watching that that relationship has continued, you know, because there's some girls that you could tell he's kind of just tolerating and like, you know, he has to have them for better or worse. They're good for TV. But I feel like you have a real friendship. Thank you. Because I like to hear what other people think. I mean, we go way back. Yeah. And even though even when I was away, he did keep in contact with me. And he didn't have to do that so I thought that was you know sweet that he did that with me and I mean I yeah I mean we text anytime if I anytime I text him he texts me right back and we have that kind of relationship
Starting point is 00:25:58 so I know I do generally I like not not because he's my boss but I consider him a friend and I do care about him I really do and like I'd love to see and I loved seeing his journey like how he started out to and everything and how now he has two kids and you know it's just amazing to watch yeah it's sweet do you keep in touch with anyone that you met like back then yes yeah I had lunch with my roommate she was a politician from Westchester I just had lunch with her the other day yeah no way yeah I was in there with doctors lawyers like I was like we're like sort of like where Martha Stewart was like that kind of place it was very easy um yeah small place and I mean I did whatever I wanted I worked out all the time that's when I wrote my
Starting point is 00:26:50 my first memoir which was a New York Times bestseller um Turning the Tables that's why I named my podcast Turning the Tables and so yeah I worked out I wrote my book I did yoga every day i did pilates like you know um one of the you know and one of the um inmates would teach pilates yeah so i would that's what that's what i did every day it's like hanging out it's like being at college that's because i never went away to college so it's like being at college but with all girls but you just can't leave the dorm like you're always in the dorm like that's exactly how it was because you know the first because i never went away to college i grew up with italian strict parents. So I was not allowed to go away to college. I even wanted to go to FIT to New York
Starting point is 00:27:35 and my dad said, no. So I had to go to, I went to Berkeley college, which was 10 minutes from my house. I drove there back and forth every day. My major was fashion marketing and management. And, um, that was it. Yeah. That was my college. I went there for two years. I got my associates. And after that I went into the business world. How old were you when you started being on TV? Well, Housewives was your first thing, right? Yeah. I mean, before that, I moved my way up in the ladder. I was an assistant buyer.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Then I was an associate buyer. I worked at Macy's in Herald Square. Right. Wow. Yeah. And then I was in the buying industry with that. Then I went on the other side. And then I was a sales rep for Calvin Klein and Nine West Handbags.
Starting point is 00:28:20 And then I was selling to the department stores. and then so I worked until I would say um a week before I gave birth to Gia and I wanted to go back to work we ended up buying our house that we live near a train station that I was gonna you know catch the train and go continue to go you know to work in New York and then after I had gave birth to Gia I couldn't leave Gia with like a stranger I just I had like anxiety over that and my mom at the time she started work and she never worked in her life and then she started working so she didn't I'm like mom can you stay home with Gia and she's like no she's like now I have my life you're married you have a kid now you're gonna take care of your baby so I did so then I just you know so
Starting point is 00:29:03 I was like I didn't go back to work because I you know had anxiety over leaving Gia and then so I stayed home I was home for with Gia till seven or eight and that's when the producers came knocking on this salon door in franklin lakes and asked for like beautiful women with these beautiful houses and they have the whole lifestyle thing and then they recommended um dina and jacqueline because they were they used to go to that hair salon and then dina recommended me and then so on so on and then that's how it all that's how it all began and how old was i i was i had adriana when i was 37 so i think i did this show i think i was like 35 wow yeah i was 35 because you you figure it takes a year you know you film and then a year later it comes out
Starting point is 00:29:55 so 36 and then i had her 30 yeah so i started the show when i was 35 wow unreal it's so crazy you're listening to the lady gang okay i have some questions for you um i mean obviously why did i say that okay what is your you're very famous running into taylor swift at coachella and her you being like do you know who i am and she's like obviously you're an icon who is the most embarrassing run-in you've had with a celebrity that you didn't know like you ran into someone and the kids were like mom that's whatever and you were like i don't know who this is the other day somebody was um i was getting interviewed for house of villains and then they're like christian chenowitz you know just said something about you and i'm like
Starting point is 00:30:44 who is that like i didn't know who that was like i didn't know i'm like can you please tell me who that is or send me a picture because i'm not good with names but i'm good with faces yeah and then and then they didn't you know i went through all the interviews and i didn't know who she was and And at the end, my Bravo PR person sends me the picture of her. I'm like, I know who she is. I'm like, you know, but I didn't know her name. So, I mean, that just happened last week. So that's why that, you know, so funny.
Starting point is 00:31:13 It's similar to this story. Yes, very. Okay. Favorite housewife from other franchise. Oh, my God. There's so many. All right. Maybe you should ask me who's that?
Starting point is 00:31:24 No, I can't. Yeah, actually. Better question. No, I mean, who's my favorite? Okay. I mean, say franchises. Say that. Salt Lake.
Starting point is 00:31:33 All right. Salt Lake. I've hung out with Angie. Love her. I've hung out with Meredith. We both got top 40 powerful women at the variety. So we were sitting right next to each other. So I got to talk to her.
Starting point is 00:31:47 You know, love her. Mary Cosby, me and her did a podcast together. I mean, we did an interview together. She was sweet. Oh, Meredith. our kids are doing a show together and we filmed a few scenes in it so we're gonna be on the show together so yeah so i've hung out with her i love her husband and louie and her husband um hit it off like they they talk a lot so i could see that yeah what about beverly hills beverly hills um i
Starting point is 00:32:16 did the ultimate girls trip with kyle i think kyle's amazing love her um garcelle she's so sweet Marcelle Sutton I've she's invited me to her party and she's like funny she's so funny I really like her and I think it's I mean I've met them all yeah those are like ones that I've like oh
Starting point is 00:32:38 and Crystal I've gone to Crystal's house for a party and she out of all the housewives who would you change husbands with who has the best husband other than you okay no one sorry no one I mean you know what you know who I was just out with and he's really cute Evan
Starting point is 00:32:59 Evan Jackie's Evan yes Jackie's Evan oh yeah he's so cute we just double dated and he's so sweet and we had the like we went like I know people can't believe that we're friends and like we we are like we're you know and I like her and we went out the other night and we had so much fun we hit it off we laughed a lot and I like that like I like when you go out with someone and you laugh a lot and yeah that's what we did we had a really good time who would you change closets with her husband and louie get along too so you know i love that we had a great time yeah it was fun who would i change closets with oh okay let's see oh my god well dory i like that i like the way she dresses yeah dory and alexia oh yeah awesome that she's my girl from miami i love alexia love her
Starting point is 00:33:44 yeah she's like one of my you know like a dear really we're really close teresa what do you make of like the Dorit situation, like I can imagine that you get kind of playing pinged out of these obscurity and to be on these shows. Right. And like you said, when they found you, they were looking for women that had these sort of upscale lives and these beautiful houses. And then as the years have gone on, it's, it's kind of expanded where, you know, some people have been sort of faking the opulence, if you will, you know, and they're trying to keep up with the Joneses. and then they get themselves in these financial situations because they want to wear the Gucci and they want to wear the Chanel and they want to be like, what do you make of that? Is it just,
Starting point is 00:34:23 you just feel that pressure to like be a good star? Yeah, no, I don't feel that. Like I, I beat at my own drum. I don't try to keep up with the Joneses. Like, you know, I wear what I, what I want to wear. And like, yeah, that's the thing. Like to wear designer from head to toe, like every single day i mean yeah you you like you have to be so wealthy i mean outfits cost like five thousand dollars like from head to toe if you want to wear designer i you know i'm not spending that kind of money like i have four kids two step sons like we have a lot going on in our house so it you know we have a lot of colleges to pay but if you have it like that you know god bless you i mean listen exactly there's some people i guess that try to do that um you know
Starting point is 00:35:09 that's not who I am you know we look at it I don't try to be someone I'm not so well I think and I can't speak for other people if that's you know like I don't want to talk about any other housewife you know well I think that how like there's like so many categories that you can fall under in like housewives and I think some people feel like their only worth is showing this like really unattainable lifestyle and the fashion and the beauty and the makeup but I think like you've done this for so long and you know that no matter what you're wearing what you're bringing to the table is just a big personality and strong opinions and like an a dynamic woman for people to watch so you feel less pressure to put on the Gucci and the Fendi and all that like you know
Starting point is 00:35:52 what you're bringing to the table and I think some of these women have like insecurities about what worth they have in the franchise so they're like well I better be head to toe labels otherwise they're going to kick me to the curb like you can see it with Bronwyn for Housewives of Salt Lake city i think she was clocking that maybe she was being brought on to it because she is one of the wealthier women it appears to be to join the franchise and she's definitely like showing up every day in that like playing the role of the wealthier i don't remember when she wore that heart the heart yeah she's like there's only three of these there's only three of these and i have one of them and then britney's like we're like what are these costumes that was last that was
Starting point is 00:36:34 great costumes i mean i'm a heart girl we love hearts louie and i love hearts we're all about the hearts i don't know if i would wear hearts but i mean it's good on her yeah it looks good she's pulling it off yeah no she looked great i have to say she looked great okay um we're so excited to have you on the podcast and you started your own podcast just a while ago turning the tables why was it important for you to go out and sort of have your own show where you could say your own piece well um because a lot of people tell me like that i inspire them which i love you know like you know and i love that because you know i am a really strong person and i guess people see that from being on housewives and and everything that i've gone through so i was like
Starting point is 00:37:22 you know if i could spread you know if i could inspire people out there i would love to do that And I, this is fun. Like I love girl chatting with, you know, other women and yeah. And you know, us lifting each other up. I'm all about woman empowerment. Like, I love that. Like, I don't like to knock any other woman down or anything that I like to lift other women up. So if I could do that with my podcast, like I want, I would love, you know, I I'm happy to do that. I actually thought this was a great question from one of our lady games, her name, lady gangers. Her name is Christie. She said, I'd like to know what Teresa thinks about her edits since season one they've always made her out to be let's just say not the smartest person is this
Starting point is 00:38:03 a persona that she puts on the edits i feel like when i listen to her podcast she seems so smart and thoughtful but sometimes the edits make her look very dumb did has she been able to take the advantage of the opportunity that the show has afforded her and what do they think that they got what does she think they got wrong sorry that's a long question but does that make sense yes that's a very good question what's her name christy christy yeah christy thank you christy i love that you asked me that that's so like i love that um yeah i mean this is the thing i mix up my words like sometimes like if i talk too fast like i know what i'm gonna say but it comes out like a different way and i like i don't i'm not gonna change who i am i mean i like who i am and yeah
Starting point is 00:38:47 obviously i wouldn't i wouldn't have made it this far if i didn't have you know i know i know i'm smart I'm smart in my like the Teresa Giudice way people don't like it that's their problem like I know who I am and you know and I'm proud of who I am I really am do I like the edits that they make me look like that no of course I don't like that but you know there's nothing I could do about it trust me if I had editing rights I would not you know I would change a lot I would change a lot of the things but you know we that's what we you know we can't tell them how to edit us you know so so they think that maybe it's funny and cute I mean not I don't always think it's funny and cute but it is what it is there's nothing I could do about it well Kelty's one of the smartest
Starting point is 00:39:32 people that I know and the girl she makes up words she uses the wrong words like it's just not her I think because her she's also moving so quickly that her brain is like her mouth can't keep up with her brain so she just kind of bulldozes through but I also think it forces them leaving that in the edits. I mean, it's probably frustrating. But I felt similarly to when Paris Hilton started doing her rounds after writing her book. And everybody started to realize that she's a very, very smart person. And she is a fantastic businesswoman. She's a beautiful writer. There's all of these qualities that everybody overlooked because of the package that she was delivering and this voice she put on or whatever. I actually think, you know,
Starting point is 00:40:16 the housewives it's like some people have their ideas about it but at the end of the day it actually shows a lot of really powerful strong resilient women who you might have looked past for being like the smartest person in the room I don't know it's reframing the way society is going to categorize beautiful women or you know women who care about fashion women who like to wear makeup and fake hair like guess what we could also have brains for business and all these other things right I love that no and you're so right because um you know I I agree um because I mean Kelty I like that you mix up your words too because yeah sometimes I'm always the worst yeah I go so quick but I like my brain works quicker and then my yeah so and it's like I like
Starting point is 00:41:03 who I am and you know a lot of people think it's funny like when I said ingredients is and like I love it. And my first language was Italian. Like I grew up with my parents are off the boat. I'm first generation. So my first language was, you know, my parents only spoke Italian to us. I learned how to speak English in kindergarten. So that's it. And then even like I had to just teach everything because my mom couldn't help me. My parents couldn't help me. So I remember going to my next door neighbor next door and like she could she was helping with my homework. And yeah, because it was hard. Like I didn't you know, I didn't have anybody to help me. And I was the first born. My brother was two years younger than me. It was just the two of us. I didn't have my parents. We didn't have a lot of family here. So I took pretty much I always had to like do everything like even like I had to write my mom's checks out. like as i was growing up like right right out her bills like i had to do everything for my mom
Starting point is 00:42:00 because she didn't speak good english she didn't know how to write english but then as the years went on she would write everything down because then i started getting busy and you know working and so she would write like 100 so then she knew how to write her own check so she taught herself yeah so it's pretty amazing yeah like that's how i grew up like just yeah really old school so but um yeah i like to make up a word i think you know what queens queens heavy is the head that wears the crown of fame you know what i mean the pressure to get your words right too don't feel bad teresa i was playing um trivia with my family at like a family dinner at thanksgiving and they were like okay there's two oceans there's the pacific and then they were like and and i for
Starting point is 00:42:46 the life of me had never seen the atlantic ocean in my life like i could not say it and i just sat and looked at these people and being like, I have three Emmys and I don't know what the other ocean is. So, you know what, sometimes you're really smart and this is just the way it, fine, you go. No, you, and I swear, I was just going to say Atlanta, Atlantic Ocean, but I wanted you to say it.
