Well, what is this?
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
That's amazing.
Say that again.
The Lady Gang.
Things are about to change around here.
Each week, we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse,
Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Hello, hello, hello.
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
I'm Becca Tobin, here with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight.
Hello.
Hello.
Hi, guys.
I'm very excited for this week's episode. And also I want to go first, just in case
Kyle and Amanda listened to the beginning of this and then they get like bored and they
skip to themselves. So like, I'm going to start off and it's time for good week. Yes, it is bad
week. Oh no. Okay. Here's my bad week. Well, we know that I did a lot of commentary on the,
on summer house during yes right i was in a very specific state of mind we were very confused about
the world we were very irritable and frustrated and sad and lonely and ecstatic all at the same
time so i need to learn my lesson i trolled them slightly on instagram you did i mean not like in
a really terrible, terrible way. But like, I would comment on like Amanda getting very invested in
Luke and Hannah's drama. I'm like, well, maybe she's just like jealous that they're in like a
fun new relationship and she's in like a not new relationship, but like it wasn't mean spirited.
I like both of them a lot. Like, were you, sorry, were you commenting this on like Instagram posts?
Insta story. I wasn't like doing it on, oh my God. Could you imagine if I was doing it on
their Instagram. No, not that kind of trolling. I was like, I didn't think you were that bad.
Oh my God. No. Guys, if I ever start doing that, please, like, please just-
That's rock bottom.
End it for me. I mean, I know Kelty tries to get on Comments by Celebs every three days.
With positivity, with positivity.
That doesn't get you on Comments by Celebs.
No, obviously.
It's the shade that gets you on Comments by Celebs. Anyways, no, I wasn't trolling them
on any of their social channels. It was just stories. We were watching in bed at night,
me and Zach. And it was like this thing that I did. And I would say probably only like once or
twice I said something that I'm not entirely like stoked about. I think that it was a big
learning lesson for me because we often meet these people and I need to stop. Yeah. That is so true.
This just made so much sense. But we did interview them already. Spoiler. And my good week is that
I cleared my conscience. You'll hear it later. I did kind of admit, I kind of admitted to trolling
and what I said to them in this interview, I meant every word of it. I actually think it's
very admirable that they put themselves out there in their relationship out there. Cause the truth
is relationships are not always pretty. So that was my therapy session. I've grown a lot in the
last hour. So thank you. Oh my God. I'm so happy for you. Okay. Who wants to go next? Amanda and
Kyle, you can fast forward now to your interview. That's so rude because my good week, bad week is
about Amanda and Kyle too. Oh, okay. Keep listening. Keep listening. Okay. So first of all,
my good week is that when Becca's happy, I'm happy. So when she's like, can we have summer
house people? And I was like, yeah, let's pull summer house. And then they agreed to come on.
I love that. My good week is that I'm like on a two month workout streak, which I'm feeling like
really powerful about. Cause that was a fake. No, the bad week. No, that was a fake. The bad
week is the focus today. Okay. So last night I knew Kyle Amanda were coming on and I've only
seen like a little bit of summer house, to be honest, like this was for you. Summer house for
you is drag race for me. Like, and we it's, we can't love the same things because we all wear
our hair in a middle part now to podcast and we can't all just be the same. I just would like to
point out, I don't have a middle part today. I don't have a middle part either, but okay.
In general, we can't be the same and we have to love different things. And that's what makes
ladying special. And so I was like, I was all into this. So last night I went down a deep hole.
I'm reading all the Bravo articles. I'm like reading about them. I'm like trying to figure
out this plan. And I was like, well, I'll do like this summer show and we can do breakups and
fashion. And then I had this like great summer song idea that we were going and it did not happen.
Like I read the room and I was like, wow, this is not happening.
Summer song.
I had this idea that we were going to make Kyle and Amanda do a dramatic
reading of the WAP song.
The lyrics.
And I printed them out.
I was going to text them to them so they could be like extra large and
extra hard.
Put this right in your face.
I think their publicist would have been pretty upset.
I know.
What a shitty use of their time.
I know.
And so like,
but this is the idea I came up with at like 10 o'clock last night.
I was like, this will be so funny.
Spit in my mouth.
Look at my eye.
Like, I don't know.
I thought it would be so good because I did this once with Mandy Moore.
I had her cast of This Is Us do like a dramatic reading of Candy, but it's just so different.
And like, this is so garish.
Candy was, she was like 15 when she recorded this.
I know.
And so anyway, I'm so glad that I have heard-
Did you say garish?
Is it garish the word?
Garish?
Garish, whatever.
Anyway.
Also, I read the room.
We didn't do it.
I'll save it for someone else.
Like yourself on Instagram.
I would be so offended if I went to do a podcast and then they wasted five minutes of the podcast
and you read somebody else's song. I know if I was a Bravo Liberty, I'd be like, go
yourself. Kelty night. I know it was a bad idea. Not all my ideas are good. I'm glad that we didn't
have to admit it. I'm first to admit it. Jack. Okay. My good week is that Becca Tobin is wearing
an old school JV shirt. Sweatshirt. I haven't seen like an old school OG JV thing out in the
wild in a while. I've asked you to remake this for me. The same drugs and yes to pizza. And it's
the tie dye, but the cut of the sweatshirt's my favorite. The thickness of it and the fabric and
the material, it's almost like a shirt meets a sweatshirt. Oh. So I need these for Lady Gang.
I know we need to make some like that. I did like a special wash on that and everything. That's like
when I used to care about merch. Well, could you start caring about merch again? I need this
sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is so good. The tie dye is so subtle. I don't even have those anymore.
Jack, you're beautiful and talented. Special. You're a special star.
Thank you. Okay. So my bad week is there's something going on with my body that every
time that I leave the house to go do something, I have to poop. And I have, I don't like using
public restrooms because of not to poop. It's an especially not to poop, but honestly I'll take it
whenever I can get it. But it is really getting ridiculous. Like anytime that I'm leaving for a
long, like a long period of time, is it pre get in the car or like you get in the car and you're
like, Oh, here it comes. No, I get to a place. Oh. And then once I get to a place, you're getting
too excited by being in public like the new coffee no it is like any i've been working at
this cafe by my house that that old man sneezed and then licked his boogers off why did you have
to say this again but when i get to the cafe it's like it's like a trigger like for my my poop and
then i have to poop like right away it's kind of great because i'm pooping twice a day but it's
it's i'm using a public bathroom i'm sorry guys gross disgusting upsetting well i hope that kyle

code figs ca bad bad week same same now back to the lady gang our guest today rose to fame on
becca's favorite guilty pleasure that she refused to feel guilty about summer house on bravo she is
a career driven graphic designer and he is a manalescent entrepreneur for the first time these
two dramatic lovebirds have teamed up for a new venture lover boy spirits and teas because if
you're going to be on a bravo show honey you need to be drunk very drunk in a massive celebration
of the summer we never left our homes and getting drunk at 9 a.m please welcome from summer house
kyle and amanda welcome we're so excited to have you so first of all how are you guys
because this is the question when we see you we we were like they showed up together we're good
i'm nervous i'm nervous for you because working together and being in quarantine seems like hell
um this seems like a terrible idea but congrats thank you yeah we're still here yeah no it was
when i left my job and decided to work you know full-time for lover boy i did not think that we
would be stuck in this quarantine a few months after with no escape so no escape it's been um
it's been eventful yeah it was like a bit of a roller coaster um you know despite us always like
living and working from home. We had other team members like Carl coming in every single day and
our COO. So at least there was like a little bit of separation between church and state because
we had other people around and it felt more of like a workplace. Now it's just an office all
the time. Wow. And during quarantine, I just worked like 15 hour days and it was just like
nonstop. So I, the lines blurred. Well, congratulations because you're still together.
it appears and you made a dope product and it's very chic looking jack is our snobbiest branding
person oh there it is yeah and it's really cute and it's tasty it's cute but it tastes amazing
that's the yeah it's the tea is supposed to be modeled after kyle which is like very loud and
obnoxious with this patterned shirt eloquently put this sports is supposed to be more like sleek
and sexy and a little bit more sophisticated like myself yourself yeah well they're very tasty and
congratulations because that is not easy to do working with your spouse or coming out with
something that tastes delicious because we've had a lot of shitty spiked seltzers in our day oh my
god so many shitty spikes i know that's where it kind of came from right like with the sparkling
hard teas we wanted to create best of both worlds like a hard tea that was actually healthy
also like you know a seltzer that just tasted better well like let's be honest the seltzers
did great we were drinking them too and then you know everyone's trying to put their own twist
on them and try to come out with something that's different and better and we too have had our share
of very terrible tasting small beverages how does that work do you go into like i know when
when we had lily aldridge on she was like i went into the scent factory to find my perfume and then
i smell all the smells like do you just go get wasted tasting i know what a dream what a dream
and where can jack get this job part-time i know do you guys need a third partner get hammered
see if it works we listen we we do it at a formulation center so we kind of come up with
the idea of the flavors um and then we have like is he a food scientist it's like a team one's a
food scientist like there literally is a wall think of it almost like sense sure yeah you're
mixing and matching and they'll help us like if we are like we want to do a hibiscus flavor drink
they'll help us like think of matching flavors uh with it that goes along with like you know
and you gotta try all the different hibiscus too because like there's plenty of different
you know companies making the raw ingredients that you can choose from so but if you ever find
yourself uh you know near new jersey we're always looking for people to help uh test out
oh my god i'm coming that is my dream well i have a question like what has been the thing
that hasn't driven you guys crazy about each other especially during quarantine and working
with your partner because that is a really hard thing jack's living with a boyfriend in a very
small apartment right now so this is very personal for her i feel like it's very personal for a lot
of people right like this was not supposed to happen you're not you're not supposed to be stuck
no living another indefinitely no i always say like you know you i've agreed you know we're
engaged i've agreed to spend the rest of my life with kyle but i haven't agreed to spend like every
single second listening to him looking at him and like hearing him breathe like I didn't agree with
that no no this is unfair yeah but I think that what has worked best for us is kind of the fact
that like we do even though we give each other a hard time about like him working or me being on
my phone or watching tv um it does give us our like our separate space it's like our only time
that we're able to be like a part if he's like working late at night and i'm you know watching
all my tv shows yeah and i think i mean this is gonna sound super cheesy but one thing that helped
kind of get us through is like almost hitting rock bottom right where we were just literally
on purpose pushing each other's buttons yeah and at the same time when we launched the spritz which
you can buy online it was you know it's a completely different product than our teas
in terms of how they're distributed our teas we use beer distributors we have to literally partner
up with multiple distributors per state let alone the country with the teas it was like starting
another business i'm sorry the spritz since it's an e-commerce like you can buy it online it
delivers to your door it was a completely new venture and we took that on during quarantine
and it probably could have ruined us but fortunately it ended up being a big success
it did ruin us but we came out on top thanks for the transparency yeah it got dark it got dark but
we came it was it was good i think it's you know what we might have needed and i fortunately didn't
flop because if it flopped then maybe we would have flopped i don't know i like this so much
all right so the wedding was supposed to be last month and then push push push so is there an
update on kind of what's going to happen well you guys were going to do it on tv right yeah so i
mean that's kind of like those classic bravo answers you kind of got to wait to see um we did
we did film so um we filmed in a basically like a covid bubble in the hamptons which is kind of
like summer house anyway right parties and yes i mean you kind of see us dealing with what a lot
of people have had to deal with during during this pandemic which is trying to figure out what
to do if you've got a wedding and you've got tons of money on the line and you've got vendors.
And I mean, it's, I also feel for the people that are in that business, right? Cause the events
business is shit. So it's a, it's kind of a double-edged sword.
Do you guys feel at any point or have you felt at any point during the filming of the show? Like,
obviously that's also a double-edged sword. You love the opportunity and the platform it gives
you, but like, as far as your relationships and your friendships and have either of you wanted
out and the other one in or like i'm really curious because it seems like you're both like
good sports about being on the show uh kyle thrives in front of the camera i'm the attention
it's like the alt he like looks forward to it you know it is a stressful thing it can be
overwhelming um but like he is in his element me i love to be alone i love privacy um so you know
she's like the last person that would ever be she's the only person on summer house that actually
didn't really try to sign up for this she kind of got stuck yeah he's like god damn it
that's what makes it so great that's what makes it great is because you're like there's a one of
you in every friend group that's like i don't want to go on the boat i just want to stay home
and i'm that person so thank you yeah all summer i was like i'm not doing that
yeah um no but it's it's look i i i we're very fortunate i will say as much as i like complain
about it and you know leading up to every year i'm like oh i don't want to do this again like
we are very lucky and there's a lot of great moments and things and memories that we have
from this that we you know i'm yeah it's like imagine like getting shit face every single
weekend and then having it professionally recorded so you could look back at those moments
so it's honestly good for you guys for keeping keep keeping drinking i feel like most people
have given up if they have like cameras in their faces when they're blackout do you guys black out
like has there been times where you've like completely blacked out and then you have to
rewatch it gave you i was fully nuked like in the hot tub with saucy making a fool myself i didn't
know how that night went down until it aired i was like oh i actually had to watch like five times
because I was so embarrassed yeah and she's like it's actually kind of funny and I was like
if you say so yeah I my memory is shit as it is I could have like two glasses of wine and like
brown out and forget things yeah and not be drunk at all so it's just kind of comes to the territory
for me I just like can't can't help it it's kind of exciting it's like you're watching it's like
you're watching the show for the first time as like a completely different person oh yeah I'm
i love watching the season because i pretty much forget everything that happens it's so i mean it's
also just like i'm sober even you know this summer especially you know it wasn't it was different and
i still couldn't even tell you everything that happened yeah i mean by the time it airs it's
like eight months later but yeah i think that you know when i signed up for it i didn't watch bravo
i didn't understand that our show is very unique in the sense that it's like film 24 7 with
surveillance i'm just like oh yeah i mean i i've seen you know other shows on like mtv where that's
the case but in bravo like we have friends on other shows like you are crazy like like i would
never sign up for that so i mean it's you we're literally putting it all out there yeah yeah who's
your least favorite bravo liberty jack um boy i don't i'm so bad like i i was once doing like
this holiday special and there was like 10 other bravo loves there and i had to like
text amanda the the headshots at no that was i don't know oh my god yeah but i don't know if i
have a least favorite i always you know i always have a lot of respect for people that have you
know leveraged it i know you guys just interviewed uh bethany yeah you know that's like one of the
only housewives names i know so i just spit out that i like i look up to her business yeah she's
a beast modeling life after bethany and there's like i love sonia i've never met sonia whatever
you know something um must really love her i don't i actually met her and i was like sonja
i don't i don't know if i have had if i have a least favorite i feel like
you know i watch obviously i watch a lot of bravo i always have um and i just find everyone
so entertaining even like in real life i'm like wow probably someone from my own show that is no
longer on it is is the short answer but i won't go oh do we know who's coming back and do we know
that yet as a public like you know okay all right okay well can we talk about we had hannah on the
podcast uh i think during your finale of the last season and we were talking a lot about her
love life we were all very invested um from the looks of instagram she has a boyfriend
are we happy for her of course i yeah i just i just with her last night because we were just
doing interviews um you know des is quite a bit older um it's so funny people will like i've seen
a few people like message me or like send comments saying that des looks like or kyle looks like des
in like 20 years oh yeah wait how much older is he he's like four i mean careful careful she's only
she's only 23 right or she's like 28 yeah i think like 15 years so it's you know it's a
decent little spread but i'm happy for you know when you're when you're on a show sometimes it
complicates yeah um you know finding your your special person i will say you know obviously we
saw everything that happened with like her and luke and if you follow along you know with giggly
squad and all that stuff um you were able you know you kind of heard more about like whatever
was happening with her and Luke we don't still don't even know um and I'm really happy she found
someone that like is just like hey I like you yeah blank like let's be together yeah more games
well since Kyle and Amanda are here um and we're drinking lover boy at 8 a.m we I have put together
a fun summer games uh type of show and basically you know this was the summer we didn't leave our
house so nothing really that exciting happened but there were a lot when i went digging there
were a lot of things to talk about and so i just want to get your feeling on some summer trends
some summer songs some summer breakups just pop culture being the bravo leberties that you are
okay and full disclosure my pop culture knowledge is horrible so is mine put that out there i don't
know who anybody is it's fine it actually makes it the best it actually makes it the best let's
begin with some summer breakups okay we had if you can remember all the way back into beginning
of quarantine cody and miley yeah i think i know who miley is cody not so much i still don't know
who cody is i think he's a disney kid or something i don't know he's like disney kids just pop up
out of nowhere man he's the walmart justin bieber yeah i that's so mean why did i say that
i'd say then that's great for miley she's a badass okay she is a badass yeah colton and cassie
sounds like a bachelor couple right yes you're right you're so right did the restraint order
stuff i i'm not well it went there yeah yeah it did are we giving like our stamp of approval or
like they broke up thoughts your thoughts have you guys ever been close to a restraining order
on each other on x but not on each other sometimes i lock myself in the bedroom but that's as much
although that's nice amanda i feel like i've been in your position many times where
your significant other's very drunk and they're trying to have sex with you and you were already
sleeping for like three hours that requires a restraining order yeah it does wow were you a
fly in the wall becca yes it's the camera in in your bedroom forget about that yeah the fly is
the camera the camera's oh shit um demi lovato and max i'm glad she saw the light in that one
yikes i'm on like the beach so like i don't yeah have you guys started the like set up paparazzi
shots yet um no i don't leave my apartment wait what's this you set up paparazzi yeah the daily
mail yeah like we want you to start calling the paparazzi but like festive like it's fall now
summer house is over you could be like oh my god we're on the beach having a lover boy like you
know like if you guys are doing this you really i need to start helping you all right yeah i need
i need guidance and they are in every single paparazzi shot you have to be drinking drinking
your own drink it's like this blatant product placement everywhere i go oh yeah that's what's
gonna make it yeah even if where you are it's like the street it's not legal to actually be
drinking alcohol you're still doing it because you're a problem no one cares people just walk
around drunk it's true you have to be or sometimes you're wearing the merch because the merch is
really cute too you know what i mean like sometimes you guys have lover boy merch yeah
there's like the sweatshirts oh my god so cute so much and i'm working on actually a bunch of
new stuff i'm like breaking out of just doing the like logo on our stuff everything says lover boy
and the new stuff i'm coming out with i'm super pumped about so when y'all that you guys will
have to let me know and i'll send you what you want hell yes um cardi b and offset broke up this
summer summer breakup and then offset got her a billboard in la i for her birthday right yeah
wait what did it say like happy birthday mommy from the baby but like the baby obviously don't
buy a billboard like no shit that yeah she the amount that that woman has gone through at her
age she's like child divorce like everything she wait the new apology is a billboard i feel like
it's the new apology wow i i need to i'm like i'm like here's an orchid it's no longer the
house full of like flowers no that's oh kyle an orchid is for for death you cannot buy her
orchid really yes so once like i've been doing it wrong one year for valentine's day kyle bought
me an orchid and on the card he said that sorry for your loss he bought me the orchid because
it it lasts a while like our relationship oh just a while a while here's the thing here's the thing
it wasn't an oak tree it was like a cut flower the thing about an orchid is that they say it
lasts longer but you have to be like a green thumb times 100 to keep an orchid alive they're
like orchids are so easy you just put one ice cube in it a week i've killed so many orchids
well also then like once the petals fall off it's just a stem for like a month
and then sad and every time you take it every time you take it to the garbage can there's some
some person around being like no no no it'll come back alive and then you feel guilty and you put it
back on the shelf and you're like this is a representation of my love well i didn't know
it meant it stood for death so i'll have to switch up my my routine yeah i love that though
yeah and honestly i'm over flowers like i'll take a billboard if i can't have a billboard
um i'll have a foot rub oh that's the second best apology don't spend your money on flowers
they're gonna wait this is an important question amanda go ahead you're gonna say something and
then i have a very important question for me i'd rather have a plant than a flower like yes
a succulent now was the representation of your bedroom on summer house accurate last year amanda
that so that was our second our guest room um it was actually a little bit tidier we had like
put the boxes like spread them out but like it is it is a little bit of a mess listen i have a lot
of clothes the producer was like you cannot let amanda tidy up before we arrive yeah i was like
i don't tell amanda what to do or else i have to buy her billboards so
good luck filming in which case like i'm always buying clothes and like you know returning them
just because we have different like events or whatever going on or like we're filming something
very specific for like a party so i need a costume for it so i have a lot of returns and they sit in
that bedroom until i'm like ready to send them back great great she's not good at returning
there's nothing wrong with that there's nothing wrong with having a personal shopping return room
Exactly.
I wish I had one.
She's your current assistant.
That's what she needs.
The closets are, we love our apartment.
The closets are like this wide.
Yeah.
Both of them.
So there's not a ton of room for clothes.
So I just spread them out everywhere in our second bedroom.
Ain't no shame, girl.
I would do the same thing.
That's your closet.
Exactly.
Okay.
Speaking of fashion, I have four little summer trends I want to talk to you guys about.
Number one, bucket hats.
It's back.
They're everywhere.
did you wear a bucket hat this summer so i almost ordered them for lover boy and i put it on
ridiculous i think i i don't know how they're pulling them off i want to it's just like what's
a bucket it's like it has like the little rim that goes down all the way around it almost looks
like a rain cap right like yes what year did you graduate kyle i'm old i'm 38 so that's not old
i'm also 38 so you're young i'm old hey it's all about it's all about it there it is a bucket hat
i literally look like it's gonna start pouring you look like you're four
i love a bucket i want to rename you andy
i also i can't believe amanda gave me i have like a mustache for the first time
oh i thought it's a subtle it's a quasi mustache it just looks big yeah i'm a fan of the bucket
hat if it's worn correctly and it's you know works with the outfit and you know i want to
love her boy bucket hat i have to find a better fitting one this one is just not great but yeah
yeah i can't get down i think when you're over 30 a bucket hat is just a no listen i never wore
bucket hats the first time around. So this is my time. Okay. Just not. Oh, you actually look very
cute in that. I don't think, I think that I just need a different style one, but we'll see. Longer
rim. Do you have more people ask you about your hair color than anything else in your life?
It's my hair color and where I bought my nose ring. Those are like the most asked questions.
Interesting. Selfishly, I'm going to DM you asking you about your hair color later.
it's like the best natural like how do you describe that is that your natural color at the
root yeah so she I get it colored like maybe once or twice a year so it's supposed to be that like
lived in hair yeah look so it grows out but lived in hair yeah lived in hair so yeah my roots are
natural and then she just like frames my face and I don't know if she's a miracle worker the girl I
go to colleen at spoken wheel she like has opened a few different locations but she's actually met
her through katie schwartz katie maloney schwartz uh oh yeah yep um i was way back it was like
we were we were out with them and then her friend came who brought her roommate who is now the girl
who colors my hair so we bonded that night she's like let me do your hair and now we're besties
you're like way to get way to get those people yeah you're like the sjp of hair on bravo
hey oh my god okay one more tivas have you seen the tiva sandals i mean my dad just never
stopped wearing them he's back on trend i'm from new hampshire like that's again it depends how
you wear them i love them i'm like all about like more masculine comfortable like casual style
um it just depends on how you style them i don't like the ones that are like trying to be like
too cool yeah like i want the traditional if you're wearing them with white socks like come on
you're trying too hard so good what magazines are you looking at i'm looking on the street i've seen
i've seen the sandal with the sock the tiva sandal with the sock which is confusing because i feel
like the tiva is for like in case things get wet so the sock really does defeat the purpose i've
told you guys this before growing up in northern canada we had no summer and so we were like it was
you wore your like those adidas like flip-flop big wide those yeah you wore the slides for like
the six weeks you had summer and then the rest of the year you wore your slides with a giant like
woolen mountain sock the gray with the red toe yeah north i was you know i was really like super
north yeah super north north yes yes and so we would like so you wouldn't ever wear winter boots
because it was like we're so over winter we're like it's not cool to wear winter boots that was
like summer sandals and then like holding on to some socks yeah but they were like love it
and you're i was born in montreal by the way oh you were yeah okay do you speak french
i'm not canadian i don't speak french it's the worst story ever but my parents my dad was working
in montreal for a couple years uh when he first started dating my mom your mom is so so cute
she's one of a kind mom the moms make an appearance every season oh i guess she didn't
this time because of covid right unfortunately yes i love jane when i met her kyle just made
like so much more sense to me i was like i get i get you now the mom will do that that happens
and it's usually like it's usually a good thing yeah you know like you're like oh okay i mean i
can't blame she's from vermont like family with no filters all brothers she literally just says
whatever comes to her mind and it's priceless but not like in a rude way like no it's not one of
those like but it means she means well she's not one of those people that are like what's wrong
with your hair. She'll be like, Oh honey, your hair. It's always like comes off in like a sweet
way. Honestly, if you, if you guys do ever like have a procreate that the children will have
amazing hair. Like the two of you together, Kyle's like a real life Ken doll with this hairdo right
here. Gorgeous. It's a little long. You have a great head of hair. My hair is very thin. So if
they get my hair, they're screwed. But yes, he has a beautiful head of hair. It's like really
thick volume on it. I think the mailman was blonde. I'm not sure. All right. When we come
back, these entrepreneurs are going to help you figure out your life. You're listening to the
lady gang and we're back. So for this part of our podcast, we have our listeners writing questions
about their life, whether it's about their love lives or professional or whatever. And then we
try to fix their lives with sometimes questionable advice. So now we're relying on you guys.
Perfect. Okay. So our first question comes from Business Bitch. She says,
I'm working on starting a business that I am so passionate about, but I'm beginning to doubt my
co-founder. Although she has great work ethic and talks of long-term future, the two of us think
very differently in Bicker. Is it good to work with opposite-minded people in business or is
this a red flag? How do the three of you or the two of you manage your business relationship?
Good question. I'll go first. So I think, I don't know how far along they are, but I think
when you're partnering up, you always have to have to like have the worst case scenario
conversation upfront. Like what do we do and how are we structuring the company? And if you're
operating on a handshake basis, you need to like go out, read the partnership charter, which is a
book and it'll help you figure out how to actually legally form, you know, form the company and all
that good stuff. I think though, in terms of, I'll let you jump in, but in terms of like
surrounding yourself with like-minded people, you don't want to surround yourself with a co-founder
or business partner that just says yes and agrees. You need pushback because constructive
criticism is actually really hard to come by. I found that out in business school. People just
agree with you. Like that's more comfortable and natural. Yeah. You want someone that's like in a
challenge your thoughts and opinions and vice versa so that you can like come with come out
with like the best possible outcome of it I will say Kyle's had gone through a few co-founders and
previous startups previous but like you know has worked at it and tried to make it work and it gets
to the point where it doesn't but I feel like it's good to have different strengths not you know
not that Kyle and I I'm not business oriented at all he's the business guy but I'm the creative
side of it. And just having like, you know, different areas where we're stronger in is
really helpful. Yeah. Make sure you, you know, you have, you have different skill sets and areas of
expertise because that's, that's the beauty of a co-founder. And then, um, yeah, different
personalities. I mean, our COO is like very calm, cool, collected, and you know, we can actually
use that to our advantage. Like he'll be good cop. I'll be bad cop. If there's, you know, a vendor
of ours that's being a pain in the ass. I love that. Yeah. You have, you have to have different
points of view or else it's like, why would you even have a co-founder? It's just, what was the
book that you said? Uh, the partnership charter. Good to know. And I'm just going to read it and
she's going to be like, I have some questions about, we have a meeting scheduled for next
week at nine a.m. We've been doing this wrong for five years. Okay. So second question comes
from misery loves company. She says, I'll get right to it. My husband adjusts or touches his
balls so much. Honestly, I'm not sure if he's adjusting them or scratching them, but I do know
that I hate watching it. He doesn't do it around other people, but now that we are both working
from home, I notice it all day long. Do your men do this too? And if so, how do you ignore it? As
someone who doesn't have balls, I'm not sure why he has to adjust himself all day. It's amazing.
Very detailed. I will say Kyle does this, but only when he has to pee. So I will ask him like a
oh boy do you have to go to the bathroom no this is amazing oh my god be like on a call and i'd be
like do you have to pee not to get too graphic but like i'll kind of like pinch it almost um
and then she falls yeah this is more of a shaft type situation but um but yeah it's still it's
like i'm like do you or we're in the car and i'm like do we need to pull over do you do a bathroom
as a guy though having your hand down there it's just like uh it's second nature it's comfort
comforting yeah why would someone always need to like adjust it i mean he has giant balls maybe
she just needs to like sneak some looser you know like baggier clothing and he'll have less
adjustments or do you think is it tight underwear sounds like an underwear problem he needs to buy
some bird dogs get your husband some bird dogs what's that what's a bird company that i helped
start where it's shorts with a basically a really comfy liner and you free ball oh
that feels like there's gonna be more ball swinging action oh no it's like i know do you
want them to swing around or do you want them to be like nice and do you want them packaged up like
a bra or do you want them to be free it's a happy medium oh so why would a guy like a constantly
like adjust and move because there's if your underwear is bad he's bunching up you know
that's why i wear like the briefs that i do um yeah maybe he needs a little gold bond i don't
know gold bond and bird i learned a lot just now i feel i feel like it's just it's probably just a
habit like it's he's probably not doing it for any other reason but he's in the like privacy of
his own home yeah yeah he's like this this feels great it's like when we pluck our nipple nipple
hair it's just like oh yeah that happens kyle that happens not around me one day one day you
will okay next question comes from anonymous she says i'm having major monster in law troubles as
my fiance's mom has been the most difficult human to ever plan a wedding with i've tried to include
her in appointments and conversations but she's so negative has verbally dissed my wedding dress
picked out invitations without letting me know and is telling guests they can bring kids when
there are no kids allowed i've tried to get my fiance to talk to her and i don't have a strong
relationship with her so i was wondering if you had any advice this is like i don't want to get
the wrong advice you go first i don't know where i mean we're both lucky enough to not like have
we love each other's parents very much and we all get along very well i wouldn't even know what to
do. The only thing I can say is at a certain point, you have to be, feel confident and comfortable
saying, listen, I really appreciate your help. Your, you know, your interests, if they're helping
from a financial standpoint, their support, but at the end of the day, it's your wedding and you
have to, if there's something that you just don't agree with and it's going to bother you, you're
going to regret not saying something. Yeah. I'm just going to say my first marriage, I had a
mother-in-law situation that was very similar to this and it ended up in divorce so if yeah i mean
it sounds like you're marrying someone's family that exactly and if if your significant other
can't help you to you know bridge the gap yeah yeah then that's the thing is like even if you
don't love your in-laws if as long as your significant other is always on your side i
mean within reason don't be a dick but like that's all that matters if someone's overstepping you
have to be marrying somebody who's willing to talk to their own family about how inappropriate it is
right yeah well said guys we're so excited to come to your wedding maybe it already happened
in the hamptons we're not even sure but we are rooting for you and i have to say i had mixed
emotions about your relationship throughout the first season you guys were like an official couple
but putting it all out there and like showing and and i've been married for almost four years like
it gets that bad sometimes you know there are moments where it's like if there were a camera
around america would be screaming at me to leave um because they don't know the intricacies of the
relationship and every relationship hits those moments so i do applaud you for staying strong
putting it out there yeah it's not you know it's it's also for for several summers we were like
the only couple and one thing you do on a reality show is you do a lot of talking and we're just
like the low-hanging fruit when there's nothing to talk about right and you know you're also it's
like it was just the weekend so you don't you know and we're in a house full of people and it's all
drinking and you don't you know get to see like the nicer moments during the week or the date
nights and just going out to the hamptons every weekend is the traffic it's stressful it's it's
there's so much added stress but yeah we did we hit some real moments I think like as awkward as
it was and as many people were like run Amanda there were a lot of people that you know watched
me go through some things watched our relationship go through some things and reached out and like
they were able to relate and you know I think even though I wish it wasn't all displayed on
national television I don't really regret it because I feel like you know there are so many
people that were like thank you yeah and i hope people stop trolling you myself included i'll
stop trolling you it'll never stop fine amazing well everyone please go uh get your new favorite
drink at drink lover boy follow i am wait not i am i'm i am i'm kyle cook it's hard to say that
because it's technically i am i know i figured that out but it's not i am it's i'm but there's
no commas on instagram i'm kyle cook and then amanda batula yeah and we're so excited for the
show to come back becca is really she's going up to counting down the days cute a show she's
probably gonna be the best season it's gonna it was like a pressure cooker it was like a pressure
