Well, what is this?
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
That's amazing.
Say that again.
The Lady Gang.
Things are about to change around here.
Each week, we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and
Jack Vanek.
Hello, hello, hello.
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
I am Becca here with Jack and Kelty. And we're off of a weekend of debauchery, joy, love,
rage. No, just kidding. All the things. We have come to you as shells of women,
and we are going to do a little something different in this episode. We don't have a
good week, bad week for you because we want to give a proper good week, bad week when we have
our wits about us, where we can really discuss the weekend of all of our lives. So instead we've
prepared something very fun, very light, very giggly. What do we got Kelty? We asked the lady
gang, what are you 100% sure is true, even though you can't prove it. And the lady gang Facebook
group did not disappoint Jessica said kids can interact with the supernatural oh that's so true
yes yes yeah do you believe it do you ever see it with Ford no so Caitlin says old enough yeah
I don't think like I feel like it's like a five like a four or five year old thing because it's
like you have to be like unless you're somebody that's literally like so connected to their past
life. And they're like, I was a minor. Or they came in too early. Like their souls came back
too early. Yeah. So Caitlin goes, my daughter's almost two and I find myself missing my grandma
often. The days I really miss her. My daughter will laugh and giggle on her own, staring into
the corner. I think she sees my grandma. And then Melissa goes, I'm convinced that my grandmother
sends messages to me through my two-year-old. Yesterday I had a shitty day. I was feeling
extremely ugly. I put my daughter to bed. She looked right at me and said, you're beautiful,
mommy. I didn't even mention anything in front of her. I swear it was my grandmother saying it.
Christy says, my son, when he was little, used to tell me my grandpa would visit his dreams.
Sarah says, highly suggest the book, Children Who Have Lived Before, some very cool stories.
Alex says, people really, this is very popular. I'm pregnant and my four-year-old nephew randomly
told me my baby was crying one day. In her belly? I guess. Okay. 100%. My son coded and had to be
resuscitated a few days after his first birthday. To this day, he still talks about how Jesus was
on the helicopter with him, Grandpa Wayne, and the angel told him he had to go back to his mama
and brother. He's six now. Whoa. That's crazy. Whoa. This is for you, Jack. I cannot explain
or make any sense of this logically in any capacity.
I've spent hours in therapy over this.
Chucky, the murderous doll, haunted me.
I physically felt him when I was a child more than once.
So it's vivid memories.
Oh my God.
That's terrifying.
I believe it.
Wait, my almost two-year-old likes to randomly yell,
go away, ghost, into the hallway.
Well, it's like, you know, kids have imaginary friends.
It's like, they're probably not imaginary.
They're probably just from another dimension.
And then it's like the older you get,
society just like hammers it down in your brain that like nothing like that exists i agree but
like when you're younger you're like your connection to the other dimensions and to the
other veil is the veil is thin my sister had an imaginary friend named jennifer and my sister's
name is jessica and for her birthday one year someone gave her like a craft apron with the
name jennifer embroidered on it and so she was like see other people know about jennifer and
My mom's like, no, they just thought your name was Jennifer, but it's just good.
No, it's like literally the two most common names to each other.
Most common millennial names.
You and Ashley.
Okay.
Ashley actually says some dogs have human souls.
1000%.
Agreed.
They're like, you get to live as a dog.
And you're like, thank God.
It's so much better than being a human.
Okay.
I know.
Diana says Bigfoot is real.
An anonymous member said, anonymous 464 said this, I saw Bigfoot in Bakersfield, California.
I can't prove it, but I did.
And Courtney said, Bigfoot is 100% real.
Oh, that's like when I saw that like little miniature alien being in Florida.
Did I tell you guys about that?
No.
It was the first time that I went to go visit Jared on tour.
I went to go see him on Warped Tour, like the last year of Warped Tour.
And we were going to Wawa afterwards.
We're walking down this...
Love Wawa.
So good to get a sandwich.
We were walking down this path, like kind of through the woods.
And right in front of us, like 10 feet in front of us, this little creature runs on
two feet across the path that was probably like a little over a foot tall.
And we were both like, did you just see that?
And we have the same exact memory of it.
There was no, like, adult around?
It wasn't a kid.
No, it was, like, it was, like, a gray.
Oh, no, I don't like this.
Ew.
You know, like, the shape of an alien, like, a thin, slimy, maybe it was green, but it
was dark, running on its two feet across the path.
Did it have arms?
Arms.
Like, it was, like, a human, but very compact, not a toddler or a baby, because it was, like,
in the, you know, lean.
Did it have clothes?
No clothes.
Skins?
It was sort of froggish, but, like, it was so weird.
I bet it was a frog.
No.
I mean, maybe, because it was, yeah, it was too big.
And it was thin.
Like, it was so weird.
It was Slenderman.
It was like a tiny Slenderman.
Creepy, creepy, creepy.
Yeah, that's something that Jared and I both saw.
We're like, what the fuck?
Okay, Brooke says Jell-O shouldn't move on its own, but it does.
She doesn't understand it?
No, she said she believes it.
yelling at her. I'm like, don't yell at people. Some other person was like, have you ever seen
jello? It's from gelatin. I'm like, just let us live. Okay. I'm not going to ask. Sinbad was in
a movie called Shazam. Yeah. That's a Mandela effect. That is wild. I actually thought he was.
So was it, was it Shaq? I don't know. I think the movie is called Kazam and it was with a different
actor but like everybody remembers sinbad like that is one of the biggest mandela effects that
everybody like agrees what's a mandela effect i talked about it before it's like a collective
consciousness memory that everybody has that i'll share it but it's not it's not accurate yeah
justice for sinbad is he still alive no idea i don't i'm assuming so i don't think so either
Okay. Lisa, this is crazy. Lisa said, Anna and Elsa's parents do not die in Frozen. Their ship
is actually in Big Hero 6. I met the Disney animator who created the ship and he filled
me in on that fun fact when I worked in Disneyland. And Daniela goes, what? And Lisa goes, yep,
I was working in Disneyland and the animator came through my line and I asked him what
his role in the show is, Disney talk, and he said he loved that ship so much that when
you watch Big Hero 6 and see Hero and Baymax flying through San Francisco that you'll see
their ship in the bay.
And then everyone was like, I need a deep dive on this.
So she did prove it.
Cool.
Oh, and then people asked, this is insane.
Jess asked, oh, holy night, Jack and Alexis, can we have a deep dive on this?
Oh, holy night.
What is that?
That's it?
Like people are like, they didn't die in Frozen.
Their ship was marooned off the coast of Africa.
Their parents were tragically killed by a jaguar when their son was called Tarzan and
raised by gorillas.
I don't know.
It's a lot.
Wait, sorry.
Is this still about Frozen?
Yes.
Oh, I haven't even seen Frozen, obviously.
You're lucky.
I'm sure it's coming.

You're listening to The Lady Gang.
what else healthy john benet's parents knew more than what we know well obviously i don't i listen
i don't stand for any john benet slander about that their family was involved you don't no
her brother killed her no no i do not stand for it they're doing new well they always say this
but they're allegedly doing new dna testing that they have from evidence that they've never done
but I think it's an intruder. An intruder. Okay. Um, one, this is again, something that you know
is 100% true, but you cannot prove it. Grape juice prevents the stomach bug.
Here's the thing with these beliefs. You cannot know if something prevents anything
because you don't know that the stomach bug was coming for you. You didn't see it walking
toward you and you drink grape juice and then it goes away this shit is bananas that I was
literally thinking about that the other day because it was like some kind of study but when
you start no it was a study of anything where they're like you know prevents yeah this prevents
I'm like how the hell do you know it's this one thing that eating bananas prevents like
colon cancer or something whatever it is I'm like what about any of the other million things that a
human is doing i guess though now that i think about it does yogurt prevent yeast infections
when you're on an antibiotic yeah but i think because of the scientific like probiotic in the
yogurt helps assist you it's not like you're definitely gonna get a yeast infection if yeah
it's like to prevent right but still the grape juice feels so weird i mean i respect i respect
you it's just like whatever you gotta do to keep going yeah i feel so bad for grape juice
like i feel like i'm the grape juice of hollywood it's like it's just such an unpopular juice not
on the golf course there's a drink that every golfer drinks it's called the transfusion
zach drinks this nasty shit all the time and it's grape juice i think lime and vodka and ginger ale
Oh, yes.
Ginger ale.
I've somehow been on that side of TikTok about the girls, the bartenders making those drinks.
Transfusion.
They look disgusting.
Grape juice, ginger ale.
Grape juice, ginger ale, and vodka.
Maybe some lime.
I don't know.
And a lime, yeah.
Yeah.
It's like a famous golf drink.
It sounds so gross.
Yeah.
I mean, it's gross, but it's not as gross as I thought it was going to be.
Yeah.
Like I would imbibe in one just to get a little tipsy.
No, thank you.
Okay.
Anonymous member says, your phone is listening to everything you say and think.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I know they're listening to everything I say because I'll be like grape juice and then
I'm going to go on Instagram and it's going to be like, enjoy this grape juice, you know?
Yeah.
But the thinking is where it's crazy.
But it sort of makes sense because if everything's in the cloud and everything's like brainwaves, it's like –
They can snatch our own brainwaves.
It must be snatching my brainwaves because sometimes I'll be like, oh, I, you know, blah, blah, blah.
And then all of a sudden I'll get an ad for it or it'll come up.
And so it's definitely listening to our brainwaves.
But I have a hole to poke in this theory.
if that were the case we would find every serial killer every murderer every we would literally be
able to know every crime anyone committed because there's no one who's ever killed somebody that
hasn't thought about it before i don't think it's i don't think it's able to they don't need they
don't want it for that they want to make money capitalism right yeah capitalism they're like
don't worry about who killed brenda but do you need um a horseshoe like if i'm thinking about
like if the JonBenet Ramsey intruder was ever thinking about the ways in which he
ended her life. But it's not a trans... I thought you were going to say if he was ever thinking
about phabletics. It's true. You should be. It did happen to me once where I was like cleaning
out my cabinet and at the very back of my cabinet, there was this like UTI medicine
that I have never bought before I checked like all I checked this later all of my like socials
and email it was never gifted to me like from a brand like I don't even know how it got there
and then like three minutes later I got an ad for it and it was like such a niche small brand that
was like the only time something like that happened it was weird weird like that I didn't
mention it to Jared I just looked at it and then it was like three minutes later I got the ad
no that's what i'm saying what's the most embarrassing thought like what's the something
that you think about that you'd be mortified that someone could could hear your thought
i mean i think a lot about like if i really if i really wanted to be famous how much how much
money it would take to really get there you know there's no money in the world 100 no if you i am
I know so many filthy rich people here in Austin who are desperate to be famous for
fame.
They can't even buy it.
It's why it's, it's why the housewives phenomenon works because these wealthy women,
you're like, why would you do that?
Attention rich.
Yeah.
They want more than money.
They want fame or maybe equal parts, but there's no way that they can just buy it.
That's so true.
And it's, listen, step foot in Austin, Texas. Okay. There's a lot of rich bitches here who
are just chomping at the bit. The bit. Okay. Can't buy it. But I'm sorry to interrupt your
thought. You just think how much money would it take to be famous? Yeah. I'm like, if I had,
you know, if I could go to Law Roach and be like, you're going to be my stylist. And the money I had
was undeniable. Like he was like, you're my only two clients are going to be Zendaya and Kelty
night. Like I would, I would then get invited to the Met Gala. I would then, you know, like that
would start it. And then like, if I had a publicist and then I had the bot machine that like makes
that you're all your algorithms, like Chris had a client recently, I would know how to spend it.
That's what I'm saying. The Austin girls don't know. I could success coach them. I could take
commission. I should actually, that's such a good idea. Be like, I'll tell you exactly what to do.
the stylist. I'll be like the beauty broker, but for fame, the fame broker.
Wait, this is a TV show. The fame broker.
Like how to make someone famous. It truly isn't like who is the most famous at the end of the
show and you actually win something. But like I'll call the paparazzi and I'll tell you what
this headline is. But I'll tell you because Chris had a client recently. He's going to kill me when
I say this, but this happens all the time in all of Hollywood. But like all of these people that
you think are going viral, they are going viral for sure. But just remember that everyone who's
sort of famous, who has like a manager agent, they release a song or they release a thing.
And then that company, Paramount Pictures, calls their contact at TikTok and says,
put some boost behind this. And so when you see that TikTok and you're like, oh my God,
the trailer went so viral or like this clip of this song went so viral.
or when people are like doing the dances to things like yeah there's like they are able to
go in there like when you're like i'm doing everything this other small business is doing
and i'm not getting the views that's because that person probably is a rich husband or is rich
and is going behind the scenes and has someone like it's just the bottom line is everything is
for sale didn't ariana's dad like buy a million of her first record or something probably but like
I heard somewhere there's a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very famous a few years
ago, not the let them theory, but like before that famous self-help book that was like on the
New York times for like years and was very, very popular. And I heard that there is like a warehouse
of those books sitting in London. And that author has, I'm not telling you, but I don't want to get
sued, but it's like, it's like everything's fake. It's crazy. Anyway. Well, we know that the New
York times is doesn't, isn't real. The New York times bestselling list. Well, sometimes it is.
Well, but people can buy their way, mass purchase their way on it. Yeah. That's not real. Sure.
Now back to the lady gang. Okay. Last one. And this is kind of sad. I'm just going to start by
saying, we did have a lady gang and there was like, I went blind 13 years ago. Helen Keller's
very inspiration for me. I don't like this story. And we respect that. She says, Helen Keller was
not blind or deaf, or she was sort of, but some things people say she did or have been able to do
was exaggerated. And then Meredith goes, I grew up in the same area as her. I feel very knowledgeable
about this subject. And then a lady said, um, she goes, this was my sister's PowerPoint at a
PowerPoint party. I want to have a PowerPoint party. I know that sounds so fun. Like everyone
brings a pair of a PowerPoint. I love it. Um, okay. Well, there is a whole, um, side of Tik
Tok that is disproving or insanely exaggerated. Yeah. I mean, cause what she did, it was,
quite impressive what did she do well it's like she wrote a book she flew a plane like if you're
if you're blind and deaf you can't hear or see to have a large grasp on the english language
well and that's the thing it's like the way that they like said that she learned like it
it was interesting and it was a long time ago so it's like you know how history none of history
is real so there is you know there's some compelling arguments for it but they've also
done the studies like the telepathy tapes yeah where they're like some people it might be more
the disability that keeps them from doing it does not mean they're not receiving something to their
brains that is but i don't think that they're saying that they're just saying that all of her
accomplishments might have been um but i'm saying she would have used those things to like i guess
my question is if like you know sometimes people are like oh you're legally blind but you still
can see some dark spots or whatever like maybe it was one of those things like my boss john
is legally deaf but like he can still well i guess it would be different because you can't see
like he can hear a little bit you know have you heard the theory that stevie wonder isn't really
blind oh my god i've interviewed stevie wonder he's blind his one of his best friends like came
out and was like look at this look at this like it's a shtick what if it was like a gimmick to
get famous and he didn't expect to be so he's like and he's like shit now i just gotta go
i gotta go with it i'm not gonna gaslight or whatever it's called like deny
it'd be a stevie wonder blindness no i know okay the very last one megan says eldest children do
better when they marry people who are also eldest children. Same with younger. I agree.
You think? I believe in birth order more than I believe in horoscopes.
Oh, I agree. I really do because, yeah. I mean, you can meet somebody and know immediately what
their sibling situation is. Can I just add something, Danielle? Or if you have like
brothers or sisters. I feel like it's so easy. A hundred percent. Yeah. Okay. This was like a
big one and a lot of people talked about it. Daniela said, okay. She said, okay. So there's
a hat shop downtown where I live in a super expensive area. Yes. There's no way they are
selling enough hats to cover the rent. They have to be laundering money. They're only open four
days a week and have been in business for years. And then other people were like car washes,
mattress stores. Yeah. Yep. Like I have a theory of this one brand that I think is a money laundering
scheme. I'm not going to say what it is and we can bleep it out. And they, because they,
the storefronts that this brand has, they have a storefront. Oh, but the founder is this.
I know, but I bet you it's just a business that doesn't really make profit, but is it
the money laundering?
Are we washing the money through this brand for the other brand?
You know what I mean?
Oh yeah.
But outdoor voices had a lot of stores too, and they were actually bankrupt the whole
time.
Like I don't think a store front, I think if you're going to launder money, you don't
do it with a cute sweatsuit.
You do it with like a dry cleaner.
No.
Well, yeah, I just think there's something weird about, cause it's like, cause no one's
ever wearing.
that's not not true here that's not true it's everywhere but one of their storefronts i mean
i don't know if it's there anymore here in austin there's a massive storefront it's literally on
pch and the store i went in there has to be like 50 000 square feet not a single person in there
like i'm like the rent for this place is probably like it has to be like 50 60 grand a month like
Just for this one storefront.
I don't know.
But I think so many things are money laundering.
Any store that's open, basically.
I would love to launder money.
I wish I had so much money.
It looked glamorous or appealing, not glamorous,
when Jason Bateman did it on the Ozarks.
Yeah.
It's like, I think I'd be good at it.
And on Breaking Bad.
And it was the first time I actually understood what money laundering was.
I'm still like 80%, maybe 70%.
That should go into the thing you don't understand.
It's true.
I'm wondering.
But then what was most confusing about Ozarks is that you actually did see him put money
in the laundry.
Oh, why did I think that was on Breaking Bad?
That was on Ozark?
Uh-huh.
But then I'm like, is that where the name came from?
Because these people do launder the money to – is that part of the whole operation?
Wait, they put the money in the washing machine to clean it?
He did.
Because it probably has cocaine on it.
Let me see.
potentially. Is that not a thing? Fingerprints cooking? Fingerprints. Jack, tell us. I feel so
smart. The term money laundering was popularly attributed to mobster Al Capone in the 1920s
and 30s who allegedly used a chain of cash-based laundromats to mix his illicit earnings from
bootlegging and legitimate income, making the illegal money appear clean. So not actually
washing it. Let me see why Jason Bateman put money. Washed the money? Yeah, washed.
It is pretty interesting to know that money is not paper either, you know? What is it?
But it can be – it's like – it's fibers.
It's plastic.
Well, the money in Canada is plastic, but –
Well, yeah.
You can't even rip the money in Canada.
I know because we're so smart.
I don't – that's something I don't understand.
I'm going to get back to Canada.
I'm going to get back there.
Why is USA – why is US money so lame?
And it's not colored.
I know.
Every other country is like holographic, fun, colorful.
They're literally like, nah.
I didn't get a clear answer.
Yeah, no.
saw the scene. It was symbolic. Well, bitch, did you see the scene? Are you sure it didn't
happen in Breaking Bad instead? I didn't watch Breaking Bad. Oh. Okay. Anyway, love you guys.
Lady gang. We love when you ask you questions and you go on tangents. I will ask you more soon.
Yeah. We love you. Full Lady World recap coming soon and we will see you next Tuesday.
See you next Tuesday.
