Well, what is this?
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
That's amazing. Say that again.
The Lady Gang.
Things are about to change around here.
Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse,
Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the Lady Gang.
I am Becca Tobin here with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight.
I'm about to go f***ing off.
Oh, s***.
I am so riled up.
Well, first of all, I'm so excited about this episode, but I am so riled up.
I've been thinking about this very recording since about 10.30 p.m. last night when I started
complaining to Chris about what I want to complain about, and then I haven't stopped
thinking about it until this morning.
Okay.
Well, let's go.
Let's not hold back.
It is time for-
Good week.
Yes, it is.
Bad week.
Oh, no.
Okay.
Good week.
I've been eating my veggies.
That's all I'm saying.
I've been eating my veggies.
I'm very proud of myself, but I need to get right to my bad week.
Like I didn't even think i've probably never eaten a beet in my life
I've eaten so many beets and I love beets didn't know i'm almost delicious. Yeah, so sweet didn't realize they looked kind of weird
I don't like a red vegetable. Anyway bad week
these
fucking
tiktokers
I
am
so
livid
About their t-shirts. I am so
fucking mad about the tiktok t-shirts what what tiktok t-shirts no these every young person on
tiktok is wearing a slayer tee or an iron maiden tee and let me just tell you i fully go look i
fully believe if charlie d'angelo or whatever the her name is can name one slayer song then she can
hang on to that t-shirt are you just go to urban outfitters and buy a fucking iron maiden shirt
You know the reason concert shirts exist?
It's because you go to the Harry Styles concert, you buy a piece of merch to support that artist.
You go to the Matt and Nathan's concert, you buy a Nathan's t-shirt.
I know Van Halen songs.
I can wear a Van Halen t-shirt.
You don't just wear a fucking Iron Maiden shirt.
I guarantee you're not listening to Iron Maiden and then dancing to hip hop on TikTok.
Are you saying this as an angry Iron Maiden fan?
Yeah.
Or a Slayer fan?
I didn't know that about you. I'm not angry for Slayer. I'm saying like, it's just so
ridiculous. It's like, you don't wear a Beatles is different because everyone listens to the
Beatles, but like, it's just such a ridiculous band to be everyone buying the Iron Maiden shirt
from ASOS.com. Like calm the down, you know? It is really, it's, it's pretty sad. And the
saddest one that I think is any of the, um, Nirvana shirts that are being sold in like a
forever 21. Cause I'm like Kurt Cobain was the epitome of everything that this is not. And he
is rolling over in his grave that his face is being sold on a shirt forever 21 for nine 99.
I mean, and like, well, someone in his family, probably his daughter is reaping the benefits
of it. So somebody had to agree. I mean, good for her. Make that money, bitch. I'm just saying
Like when I wear a Nirvana shirt, I got engaged in a Nirvana shirt because I didn't know I was
getting engaged and I would have made a different choice had I known. Are you a Nirvana fan,
Kelty? Name three songs. Something in the Way, Heart Shaped Box. I mean, I was a massive Nirvana
fan. Like I probably listened to Nirvana Unplugged on MTV. Remember when MTV used to play music?
Anyway, I'm sounding like an old person. But anyway, take the fucking Slayer shirt off,
Little Huddy. Oh my God. Little Huddy. I love your TikTok rants. Like I think that they're
some of my favorite. I, I wish the one that we did on comments by celebs. Like I wish we should
see if we can get that. Like just that clip of you complaining about the TikTokers. Cause it
was the funniest shit I've ever heard. It was great. You have a burning fire in your, in your
heart for TikTokers. She hates them. Cause it's something that's so out of everything she wants,
but so out of her realm of possibilities. Yeah. Like, cause the fame is so real there
and so real and the talent is so low. But you're a faker. When I wear a Matt Nathanson shirt,
it's okay. No one is doubting that. You can't find a Matt Nathanson shirt at Target or at
Urban Outfitters. You're, you're not, you're doing like clap. Okay. All right. Anyways,
I'm going to go. Um, my good week is that during quarantine, the whole, this whole bullshit,
I have slowly but surely been cleaning different areas of my apartment out. Like I did, I did the
closet. I've done like my kitchen. I've actually allowed Jared to bring in some kitchen supplies
into my kitchen. I've moved my leggings out of my kitchen. Finally leggings in the oven to leggings
are finally in my room, but I did the very last thing and I cleaned out my medicine cabinet.
And there's something that's very adult feeling about finally cleaning out my medicine cabinet
and having it all nice and organized all my bullshits out of there. Like it's the final
touch. And I finally did it. Such a growl. It's a gratifying feeling. I just like feel,
I feel finally put together. Dude, why do you think I clean closets for fun? It's the best
feeling in the world. There's nothing better. I would rather clean a closet than have an orgasm.
Wow. That's, that's sad. Okay. My bad week is, so I've been taking Nutrafol to grow my hair out
from my mullet. And you know, a little bit of a side effect is it like kind of makes your other
body hair grow on you. I've talked about it making my leg hair grow a lot, but it finally happened
and I got an ingrown nipple hair. Oh, there is nothing more painful than an ingrown nipple hair.
Like think of an in any ingrown hair you've had on your bikini line, but like times it by 10
because it's on your nipple and your nipples are so sensitive. My head's not sensitive, but thank
you. Really imagining I'm getting in the mood, but imagine that they're sensitive. I had to pick it
out with a tweezer and pull the hair out. It was one of the most painful things that I've gone
through in the past couple months. Harder than harvesting your eggs? Way worse. Almost as bad
as that. It's still worth it because my hair is really fucking growing. Good for you. I'll take
it. I don't have a sensitive nipple either. Yeah. Wow. It's actually very frustrating if anybody
tries. It's actually, no, it's frustrating. It's annoying. You don't feel this at all. And I'm
like, no, I don't know. Really? Like nothing. Yeah. How? Yeah. Okay. All right. Well, my good
week is plain and simple. I found a really epic dog walker here in Vancouver. They're very advanced
with like their technology. These dog walkers, they have portals where they like put in all the
information. Like if your dog peed and pooped and they take pictures of your dog, wherever they
take them. Like here's Orly meeting a little dog in the park today. And there's like five pictures
a day and like a little note from the dog walker. And it's just like, so, so good. Like it's just,
it's, it's really great. And we love our dog walker in LA. So I was like heartbroken that
she wasn't going to have her. Well, guess what? We found someone amazing. Orly got someone on
her level. Good. She did. Okay. My bad week is that I've been doing a lot of bulletproof coffees
in the morning because I was like trying to get back to this time where I didn't do like coffee
with like creamer, junky creamer, and then I'm starving in an hour. So I do like the butter and
the MCT oil. For those of you who don't know, you like blend it together with your coffee.
So good. It's supposed to be good for like alertness and like whatever. I have barfed
like twice from this coffee, it upsets my stomach so much, but only sometimes. And I can't figure
out like what the common denominator is. Cause sometimes I'm fine and sometimes I barf. So if
anybody can tell me what is happening to me, I'd love to know. Cause I don't want to stop doing it,
but it is risky. It's nausea. Maybe you're, I don't know. Do you remember the time that I
um, drank that smoothie that my ex-boyfriend was making me. And then I had like an allergic
reaction to half of my face one day, but like he was poisoning me. I don't know. Maybe it's like
something like that where it's like a buildup of every day. And then one day it's just too
much in your body. And then, but then the next day I'm fine. Okay. Well, anybody question Dave
Asprey, isn't that his name? Asprey, the bulletproof king. I love him. All right. Well,
When we come back, all my dreams are coming true.
Great.
Now back to the Lady Gang.
Our guest today is a revolutionary American drag queen, performer, fashion designer,
rapper, and recording artist from Denver, Colorado, who came to international attention
in 2019 when she won the 11th season of my favorite show of all time, RuPaul's Drag Race,
aka the best show of all time.
She participated in gymnastics and other really strenuous extracurricular activities until
she was a teen and diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at 15. This is when your body doesn't
make enough collagen, causing elastic skin and a lot of joint damage because of overly flexible
joints. But that hasn't stopped her. With over 1 million fans on Instagram, it's no surprise that
her unique point of view has taken the entire world by storm, whether on tour, remember going
to see shows on tour, everybody, or on the best show I've ever seen in my life, the Las Vegas
residency, RuPaul's Drag Race Live. Now she's coming for my job hosting specials for CBS All
Access. And today we're celebrating her brand new debut album, Drag Trap, available wherever
you get your music. Please welcome to the lady gang, Evie Audley. Howdy, howdy. Welcome. So
Evie, before we get started, I do want to tell the story of when I met you and called you the
wrong name because I've talked about it on the podcast before. And now that I've watched the
las vegas review reality show on vh1 i know a little bit more of the stresses y'all were under
on opening night but i talked about this do you girls remember when i said i was in um las vegas
doing an interview oh i remember oh no and so so the girls know and the fans of lady and know that
i'm a massive drag race fan like i follow everyone online like it's all i care about i care about
Drag Race and Paula Abdul. That's it. Like no one else, like Oprah, I don't care. And they also
know, can Becca or Jack kind of explain how I fuck up everyone's names? Well, an example would be
we had June Diane Raphael actress on the podcast and Kelty didn't fuck up anything. You'd think
it would be like maybe the last name Raphael or like maybe forget to say the middle name. She said
june diana not diane so like she makes very very very like remedial remedial uh names like if
complicated if somebody's name is john she'll be like jack well as well i didn't necessarily make
the job easy on myself like naming myself an uncommon name and then spelling it against how
I guess human logic spells things so as the story goes I'm in Las Vegas I've seen the show that on
opening night and it was incredible I had a fight remember I had to fight for my table seat because
some bitches were sitting in my seat yes and it was like this whole drama and RuPaul's on stage
introducing the show and I'm like literally whipping someone with my fan trying to get my
seat anyway so it was like so amazing and then we get invited to the after party which they showed
on the tv show so I should have gone I could have been famous and I didn't go because I was like I
have to prepare i have this huge interview with the girls tomorrow like i gotta get ready i gotta
like really think about my notes i spent all night i'm so excited i'm in the morning i'm in my pink
outfit i'm standing in the gift shop i'm ready to go and there's the five girls they walk in they're
all in like fabulous outfits because they've just done a press conference and i walk up and i'm like
i'm gonna show them that i'm like actually a fan like i'm not just a member of the press i'm like
a real drag race fan and so i walked up and i was like to evie i go hi naomi
i'm such an asshole i'm such a loser i know exactly who you are and you're like i'm the
fucking winner and i was like oh my god and then you were so nice and naomi walked out of the
interview do you remember that i mean yeah no that's why i remembered directly from the start
because that was a big point of contention.
Oh, no.
In the beginning of Naomi taking power back into her own hands,
which I simultaneously respect and am in complete awe of.
So she walked out of the interview.
She was so mad.
So then I went from like, we haven't even started the interview.
I've pissed them off.
And now we have just the four.
um but anyway it was fine because you know i really i really do love you and you were so
gracious you're like hey girl it's okay and then you were like so good on camera so thank you for
that and i'm sorry and it really is my thing that when i get nervous like i cry around paul abdul
like it's just who i am um okay so how are you and like this covid and the show had to shut down
and what have you been doing to keep busy um you know i've been doing absolutely everything
that a nice domestic lady should like i've cleaned my house once or twice throughout this entire
pandemic uh i randomly made a whole album i guess no big deal like that's actually just how i've
been channeling things is and doing things that i've never done before in my life like taking
care of my home knowing where my belongings are and making music now you guys had no you had
assigned like a contract right for the vegas show to like go on because you were one of the i think
there were six six people in the show and then it was rotating or whatever but you were one of the
headliners like you're on the poster and you assume you sign up for this you're going to be
there for a year right and then it gets cut short i mean uh if not if not a year then at least like
intermediate or intermittently like throughout I thought I was going to be like hopping back
in between tours and so uh to not only have the first little run of it like the first my first
leg cut short but the entire thing cut short was it was uh shocking and saddening especially since
that was I will say like the first step towards at least me like evolving and finally coming into
my own as a drag race girl right and what was it like to be like chosen like I guess kind of
watching the reality so they had so Evie won drag race the competition series and then there was
another series on right the beginning of quarantine that was on VH1 that was like a reality show about
them building this Las Vegas residency for those of you to watch and I I guess like like how real
was that and how like some parts of it felt like very real and then some parts of it felt like
Or are they setting them up on a date because they need more content?
Like, I don't know.
I think, you know, I will allow the viewers to go and dig and do their own research.
But I think at least for me, it was very apparent when something was real and when something was being forced for the sake of telling a story.
And I will also say that, unfortunately, the story team, as much as it sucked for us to have the show closed down, like, earlier than intended, they had 10 times more work to do to, like, make a full season and full, complete stories when, like, we left in the middle of, like, some beef.
and so but you know there i think i think there were some real moments and those were my favorite
parts and then there was plenty of fake reality tv bullshit but i'm not gonna pretend i like
things i don't like that's why you're here yeah welcome to the lady gang um so you do have your
new album drag trap and i was taking a big listen to it and i want to say that my favorite song is
chicken dinner and i want to like say my favorite lyrics so the lyrics are is basically like you
know you're the winner and i'm like okay so the lyric goes you're confetti i'm glitter watch me
glimmer you're just litter you can put that litter in a song that's like a speech to my heart
i tried to write a whole album about litter but unfortunately i could only get it in there like
three or four times. And that's really interesting because you sort of started your drag and you're
like, I didn't have a ton of money. I kind of had to go to Goodwill and see what I could find at
these stores and then make this incredible drag. And now you're big and successful. How has your
drag changed? Well, I mean, when I talk about Vegas being the first time that I was really
able to come into my own as a Rue girl, that's because it's the first time I've been able to
get back to what actually made my drag successful which wasn't necessarily that it's cheap although
she is it's it's more just I drag for me as an extension of my art so like if I'm not able to be
making the things for myself creating concepts like literally putting work into my art then
it feels like nothing to me it's just a routine and so I feel like a lot of what people may have
gotten out of me in in my reigning year was the bare minimum of like what I could deliver because
I wasn't making art I was just like performing so you know I I it's just important to me to
get back to my grits and be able to make stuff so my drag hasn't changed it's gotten cheaper
but it's all mine and I thought this was interesting I would have assumed that the
first time you applied for drag race you got right in like you're that incredible and it was actually
the second time so tell me about it was three it was three third time's the charm wow so so how did
that work like what do you think it was that changed and is that pretty normal like you know
I had you know uh well I mean I've heard stories from girls who like got on on their first time
to people like Nina West who auditioned basically every single season like she's still auditioning
now even though she was already on just retroactively um but I know for me personally
it's because of what I was just just talking about and that's when I made my first video
I wasn't really like that in touch with what I was going to say to the world what I had to say
to the world as an artist and when I made my second video I had a better idea but it still
wasn't all completely mine I like sent some some like footage off to a friend to help me edit it
together and like had to piece like together a vision and the third time I was like you know
what I can't do this anymore I don't know how I can like go on living life without sending in a
video that feels exactly like who I am and so I worked on it from start to finish and I think
that's ultimately what made the difference for me was like I said just getting to put my artistic
perspective and I thought it was really interesting there was this this article online about you know
that the that RuPaul could be sort of cold we've had him on the show but like he could be kind of
cold and like not in the moment unless it's like the cameras are rolling and then and then there
was also you talking about how you had to stop kind of doing meet and greets at some point after
your shows because physically like you weren't able to do it but then also people like can sucking
your energy and we've had a similar thing when we're on tour like we love meeting our girls and
our fans but it is the most exhausting part of your show to like it is it is it is the most
exhausting part of your show because and this is what I don't think fans realize when when they're
coming up to their favorite people is like even if your favorite person does love you which I can
say I love most to all of my fans especially the ones who write nasty comments at me but
like even if your your favorite person actually knows you is actually in love with you they still
have to put on an act in that moment because they're not going to try and leave you with a
negative experience it's a customer service face we we anyone who's ever worked customer service
should empathize with people who do meet and greets so the whole meet and greet thing for me
wasn't even that i didn't want to do meet and greets because drag queens especially after we
get on drag race at least pre-covid times like you know you're gonna do meet and greets what i
don't like is when meet and greets are are done out of the way the show is done out of the way
and my body is dead tired and i'd try to go home and get get mobbed and nagged and from ungrateful
and i'm talking ungrateful adults who would be like how dare you you don't even care about your
fans if you're not gonna take a photo with me after they saw me repeatedly swan diving into
the floor like yeah you're like well i could give you a subpar performance and a million hugs
afterwards like but this is the way it has to go but what frustrates me and why i snapped is it
wasn't even about the hugs because i offered hugs i offer real human experience if you're going to
be taking some of my energy i want to be getting something in return yeah so like but people were
pissed because it's very diva-ish to be like no i don't want to have some fake ass photo with you
that you can post on your timeline to make you look cool and feel better about yourself
like i didn't i didn't participate in that before when i was on the other side of this like
i'm not gonna do it now right does it kind of make rue being like cold or sort of like in the
mode on the set of drag race make more sense to you now like after it never it never didn't make
sense and that's why i'm angry that honestly even that got taken out of context and like blown out
of proportion is for me it was a joke to be like i i loved brooklyn on canada's drag race because
she was so like warm and inviting which is also a joke to me because i love brooklyn but bitch that
is not like the mood she gives no oh my god i know it's hard as a fellow canadian i'm like i'm not
sure that this is exactly the canadian good for her i mean i just thought it was i for me i
understand that twitter and the internet is not for jokes but i was just being like you know
i don't i don't i don't think there is a whole lot of warmth that can come from somebody who
has like we were just talking about who has to be turned on so much for the camera specifically
and then also when the cameras are turned off wants to try and not look like some biased
asshole towards like competitors in their competition right so people would be so much
worse if they were like whispering and like rupaul said don't do that like you know what i mean like
yeah exactly well and the thing is people wanted and people are might get angry about this but
people wanted to be angry about rupaul that are angry at rupaul for anything so anything
anyone can say right now to kind of re-jazz up that fire they're gonna take and add on to the
fire that they hate rupaul for fracking and they hate rupaul for hating trans people and i just
think it's a bunch of bs you should take every single thing as it comes and judge the person
by their character and their content in those situations so if you want to hate rupaul for
fracking hate her for fracking but don't hate her because she's a good a good reality tv host
okay two more things sorry i know i have so much i have so many questions um what do you wish
everyone knew especially like the losers like me who were never part like i lived in new york i was
never part of the drag scene until um until i saw it on tv like i'm like a late convert you know
what do you wish that those people knew about drag um i wish they got into and sorry to come
for you this way i wish they got in i wish they got into more than just the aesthetics of it all
and that's a lot of what like my my appearance on drag race my victory meant for me anyways
was everyone being really obsessed with the aesthetics of it all and right and which is a
good thing but it's also dangerous in this like weird capitalist society where if we do become
only obsessed with the aesthetics and not the artistry behind it like if it's only about
looking perfect and looking expensive then it's losing a lot of what the heart uh of what queer
people put into this art form is in the first place because it's an exploration of identity so
I wish people would see drag less for like the awesome transformation it takes to like put on
the makeup because that's something that anyone and everyone I think everyone is starting to learn
can do and see that it's actually about transforming yourself transforming the world
around you transforming the room you walk into transforming the zoom meeting you're in
no it's true and I think that in a pat in the the most recent season when Gigi Goode came in and
Gigi was a queen that her mom was a sewer and she basically came in like pre-packaged with every
barbie doll outfit that you could possibly like the most polished looks that you would have and
you thought oh my god she's gonna win because she's so perfect like every single piece was so
perfect and then didn't because i do think that there's like that element of you can't just put on
the cloak and you know you need that heart and soul and i think that's what people were very
like very impressed with you that it was like oh i've you know i'm a little i don't know that you
could really see the art you know and so hopefully that continues because i think you're you're right
it's like you just can't show up and put the thing on and that's enough you know well and and to to
play the devil's advocate a little bit i don't think we should crown people just for the sake
of like them being an artist either like i would like to remind people that i'm extremely talented
I mean yes okay and very last thing how is how is your health because from the end of the the show
you know like it is you what you do I mean I'm thinking about that crazy lip sync with Brooklyn
and it was like you're upside down in the split she's upside down this but like that you're like
and now I'm gonna face plant and do a double backflip and like your body does do crazy crazy
things but I know it comes at a cost and so you know how is your health it's um it's definitely
a lot more under control and a lot more managed than it's ever been before which is actually
probably uh it's ironic because I'm doing less performing than I've ever done so I'm actually
monitoring like how I'm feeling but because of how much damage I've already done and because
of the fact that I'm aging and living with EDS in the first place like it doesn't feel better
I can just I can I can tell like things are getting more and more difficult but that's why
I'm also grateful for the fact that I've had so much time to not just be grinding down those gears
so that I can still perform every now and then
and throw out an occasional trick until I can't anymore.
Good for you.
You are so talented.
All right, when we come back, Evie's going to fix your life.
You're listening to The Lady Gang.
Okay, so we're back.
So this part of our podcast is called Ask the Lady Gang.
So we have our listeners writing questions.
Sometimes it's about dating.
Sometimes it's about career and everything in between.
and we try to give them good advice. Sometimes it's bad. Sometimes it's terrible. Sometimes
it's drink a bottle of wine. So are you ready? I can laugh on a loop. Like I literally want to
know. It's a phone ringer. It's so contagious. I love it. I'm so old, my phone ringer.
Your landline. My ringtone. Look at my ringtone. Your ringback. Yeah, your ringback tone on your
old Nokia cell phone. Our first question comes from Young and Confused. They say,
I'm 23, my boyfriend is 30, and we've
been together for five years. Until six
months ago, we were on the same page about marriage.
However, something recently changed
and now he doesn't want to be married at all.
He says it's a waste of money and
that it just makes for a more expensive breakup.
Although I'm not looking to get married
right now, I'm afraid my boyfriend won't
change his mind. This would be a
deal breaker for me. What should I do?
So.
My advice is just dump him and
but my advice is also check yourself and like why are you thinking about the future of five years
of like oh I want to get married someday if that day is not right now do not worry about it like
they're literally we are not guaranteed tomorrow your boyfriend might like leave you for your mom
tomorrow so he sounds like a douchebag for one uh for being like you know it's too expensive that's
not a good reason but you should probably also check yourself and try and find somebody who
makes you happy in the moment right now and focus on that every day don't think about marriage until
it hits you and it's just a little bit weird because in her question it was like they had
been on the same page for five years and then all of a sudden six months ago he's like totally
flipped his mind so like maybe something's going on with him yeah well and if his excuse is like
oh, you know, it's going to make for a more expensive breakup. That tells me that his mind
is thinking towards the line of we're going to break up. So if he's planning a breakup and you're
planning a wedding, you guys have very different. Yeah. Also, I have many girlfriends who have been
in a similar situation. And listen, this is the exception, not the rule. May I repeat myself?
This is the exception. But a lot of those girlfriends went their separate ways. Some
of them found like the most incredible partner after that who was like on their same page or
the exception sometimes the guy will get scared and realize oh shit she means this she's for real
and he's gonna be like if it means we have to have a cheap ass wedding in the park to keep you
then i'm gonna do that but the moral of the story is dump the guy either way maybe he comes back
maybe he doesn't but get the out of there yeah run bitch run bitch okay next question comes from
cassidy she says i recently moved from a new to a new city on the west coast from a very small town
i grew up in i love the outdoorsy culture here but i'm completely alone i know it's covid times
but i spend most days not interacting with a single other human being and i'm going to lose
my mind i'm feeling very lost and disheartened by my grand adventure west is there anything i can do
to explore or meet new people during these times especially since i'm not an extrovert well my
advice penelope would be that chastity wait i'm sorry we told you penelope to cassidy
we fucking told you i don't know what it is names are not my thing you guys go ahead
No, Kelsey. Now I think I wasn't listening at all. So I don't even-
Okay. Well, let me say, here's the thing. Nothing is permanent. The city you live in,
the friends you have, the state of loneliness, it's all fluid. And I think that if you're really,
really wanting to stay in that city, that's one thing. So get out there. Extroverts can also make
friends in certain ways. I mean, introverts, sorry. And then also, if you're not somebody
who wants to put yourself out there and you're better off in those built-in places like offices
and yoga studios and whatever, and you really only meet friends that way, that's okay. But it's also
okay to go back to where it's familiar to you, be with your family or be with your friends. I
imagine you're still working from home. So like go take a little hiatus from the loneliness if
you can't stand it anymore. Yeah. I feel like there's always this sense of pride that people
have when they do do a move or a big thing like that, that it's, they'd consider it a failure if
it didn't work out or it wasn't exactly what they wanted, but it's not. I mean, like you said,
it's like everything is fluid. You can always move back home. You can move somewhere else.
You could meet somebody. And I don't think that there should be like a sense of failure that's
attached to that. If you decide to come back. Yeah. You're not getting a trophy for staying
alone wow you still have your drag race trophy in the crown my crown got broken before i even got
home oh no what happened you didn't do a replacement
it's not do you get the scepter yeah the scepter is fierce she's everything i'm using that currently
to bite off any apocalypse happenings that may or may not happen.
At least you have a weapon. Yeah. She's heavy. It's sharp. Great. That's all you need.
Apocalypse friendly. Okay. Our last question comes from anonymous. She says, I recently moved
from Penelope. Penelope says I recently moved in with my longtime boyfriend and the sex has always
been so damn good. No person knows my body better and it's orgasmic every time. But about a month
ago it just stopped no sex no touching barely any cuddling i have asked him about it he and he says
he just hasn't been in the mood lately even when i try to initiate it i get rejected
it's making me feel insecure and frankly a little bit resentful what should i do
how oh that is difficult well for starters i like that you had a conversation about it because
I think that's always a good place a good place to go from the jump um coming uh once again to
play a little bit of devil's advocate let's assume that like your boyfriend just actually
isn't like in in the mood for it or whatever girl go get another boyfriend get a side piece it is
2020 like I understand that you have to take some time to get to know them intimately and make sure
that they were like quarantined for like 14 days haven't been exposed to anybody else go take your
test yeah but literally i'm so sorry i'm in a relationship i love my boyfriend to death and
if we stop having sex for a month i'm going i'm going directly to the neighbors i'm knocking on
their door and i'm putting something in my mouth like no
i'm putting something in my mouth um i would say that i do think well i do know like
no sex kelty over here no i'll go first rude something that is rude something because no
you're gonna be like it's okay so it's like the first question something has changed you don't
know what it is same with the first question like if somebody's mind completely 180 is like
something's going on so whether that's like he's cheating on you or maybe he's going through
like something personally something's going on and you don't know what it is so you have to get
to the bottom of it or leave like you said and go give somebody else a blow and she also said
she just moved in right that was a part of it oh did they oh yeah i recently moved in with my
longtime boyfriend that okay that's it i personally i think maybe you should find a way to
give your boyfriend some space and give yourself some space because I recently just did the most
adult thing I've ever done and move in with my boyfriend and there was a period where like I just
wasn't like once again to play the devil's advocate I wasn't into like it because I got
too used to seeing him every day I've never been so spoiled before and so I had to like go off and
find other activities to do I had to make sure that I was like working and having that separation
of space personally just to make sure that every time i saw him i was like wow yeah with the clothes
off it's true especially during covid where it's like you're on top of each other all the time like
you need space to want somebody like you can't smell someone's poop from the bathroom and then
want to get get real that's what i'm saying yeah it's like are you wallpaper are you my husband i'm
not sure you know what i mean like you just see them so much but if you can't but if you like try
to find like some some space for yourself and then you see that that's not like like if you
give a little bit of distance and you see that he's not catching up i still say revert and find
another day amen you know what let's put that on a t-shirt is that on your album yeah that's a new
lyric for sure there's a remix coming find another day find another day um okay evie i felt like our
relationship did not start where i wanted it to and i feel like today has cemented that you know
you mean so much to me and you're amazing and i want every one of the lady gang members to go
and follow evie on instagram right now it's oddly evie um we're gonna post about it and then go
check out her new debut album drag trap. And I just want to say that the music is really
good to work out too. I worked out to it and like, like it's like good, like pump you up. Yeah. Like
let's go, you know? So I'm so proud of you. I'm so happy you made time for us, even though I'm an
idiot. And she will always be embarrassed by that moment. I've never, it's like what literally when
people are like, what's your worst interview? I was like that time Julia Roberts walked away from
me and then i'm like wait no it's that time oh my god i'm taking this directly to naomi smalls
