Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman - Autism as a Unique Expression of Light with Suzy Miller
Episode Date: August 27, 2025In this episode of the Language of Love Conversation, I welcome Suzy Miller, a former pediatric speech pathologist whose world was turned upside down when a nonverbal four-year-old boy named Riley com...municated with her telepathically. Riley revealed a stunning truth: he needed Suzy’s help to integrate his “light body” with his physical form. This encounter launched Suzy on a journey to redefine autism not as a deficit, but as a superhuman ability, a different way of being that holds a mirror to our own unhealed energies and invites us into a more authentic, heart-centered existence. Together we explore: How those on the spectrum act as mirrors, reflecting the unacknowledged emotions of those around them Why many people with autism struggle with being fully “in their bodies” and what that means energetically The mismatch between their high vibrational frequency and the dense conditioning of our physical world How so-called “problem behaviors” can be understood as communication and energetic processing Practical tools like the Blue Sphere technique for releasing heavy emotions and raising your vibration Ways parents, teachers, and loved ones can authentically connect with these extraordinary beings Suzy’s work is a beautiful call to action for parents, educators, and all of us to shift our perception, embrace deeper authenticity, and learn the language of energy and love. Hey, I'm sex, love, and relationship therapist, Dr. Laura Berman.
And for the past 30 years, I've been helping people just like you learn to love and be
loved better.
Here on the Language of Love Conversations, I'm talking to some of the world's most
influential and revolutionary experts, thought leaders, spiritual teachers, and celebrities
about love, sex, and relationships from a mind, body, and spirit perspective.
And that way, my goal is to awaken your mind, body, and soul.
It's time to become fluent in the language of love.
Susie Miller, thank you so much for joining us on the Language of Love.
Thanks for having me.
I'm so glad you're here.
You know, I, like a lot of people, first kind of connected with your work, listening to the telepathy tapes.
I'm sure you're hearing that all the time now.
but I know you've been doing this work for a really long time. In fact, way before we had the
levels and numbers of people on the autism spectrum that we do today, I had so many thoughts
because I've since dived into your book and a lot of the work you do. And when I first was reading
about you and learning about some of your teachings, I was so excited, not only because
of the work you're doing, but what this means for everybody, first of all, and certainly for the
huge number of people who aren't necessarily living with autism in a way that really affects
their ability to function in the world. But people, you know, like my eldest son, who's now,
He's 29. He was the one that led to my awakening because he is someone who back then would have
been diagnosed as Asperger's. They don't use that term anymore, but very subtle. And it was really
difficult because he was so high-functioning, he didn't fit with a lot of the kids and the
programs that would have supported him potentially because he was too high-functioning, but he had
so many issues. And it wasn't until out of desperation, he became suicidal in ninth grade.
And I went, I, you know, none of my usual courses of whatever were working, therapy, medication,
all the things, you know, that you turn to. And so I went to a psychic and I told her, you know,
my son is suicidal. I don't know how to help him. And I'd never heard of this before. And this is
part of what we're going to be getting into, guys. She said, she's like, let me tune into him.
And she said, he's clairsentient. He feels what other people are feeling. But in his case,
he doesn't know the difference between what he's feeling and what everyone else is feeling. He's
just feeling all the energies. And she showed me how to, she said, you have to be really careful
of the energy you're holding when you walk into the room. And I'm like, well, I never show him
that I'm upset or nervous. And she's like, oh, no, no, no, honey. That's not what I mean.
And that was my first, like the first crack in the door. And then it changed everything
because I started realizing, and this is, I know it's such a huge part of your work and we're going
to get into it, but I started realizing that for him, he is like the canary in the coal mine
constantly. He was responding to the energy of the feelings that people were holding around him,
that they weren't even conscious of.
Like, I remember he went for this neuropsych eval
and the woman said,
I think he has problems reading social cues
because I was smiling and asked him how I felt
and he said, sad, right?
And so I was like, no, he doesn't have problems
reading social cues.
That's just a preamble because I'm telling this story
because I want people to understand
that we're gonna talk about people on the autism spectrum,
But this applies to everybody because what I think is happening is that, and I know you probably agree with this, that people with autism are superhuman, right?
That's the title of your book.
Awesomism, not autism, right?
Awesomism.
Because they really have these profound gifts, but they also are like human tuning forks that are mirroring back to us what's really happening and are an invitation for us to rise to a new level of consciousness.
That is a mouthful, guys. We are going to get into it. But that was a wonky introduction,
Susie. But I want people to know that this applies to everyone, not only if you have
or you are someone living with autism or love someone who has that diagnosis.
But let's just start kind of at the beginning of your journey into this world, because you
didn't set out to be working with autism, right? You started out as a speech pathologist.
And then you were exploring spirituality at the time, which probably was all part of the
plan because that left you open to what happened next.
And then you met four-year-old Riley, right?
And that's where it started.
So tell us about that.
Yeah, this was 1999 when I met Riley.
And I did have a private practice in the state of Maine as a pediatric speech-language pathologist.
And I go to meet a new child on my caseload just like any other day, except it wasn't any other day because he was walking around the daycare center and he was saying, it's the millennium, it's 1999.
And, you know, just walking around and I'm thinking he's a, you know, kind of an odd kid, you know, it's like I didn't know anything about autism when I met him because I graduated in 1986 with my master's degree.
and at that time it was like one in 10,000. And in 99, it was more like probably one in 5,000 or
something like that, but it was still a pretty rare condition, if you will, right? And so he
walked up to me, he was saying, you know, it's the millennium, it's 1999. And then he walked like
right up to me, made direct eye contact with me, and he said, Master. And when he said Master,
something happened in my body I mean I could literally feel something change in my body
and I remember almost feeling like I had been seen like he saw something that I didn't even
know what he was talking about and so you know the thought goes through your head like who's the
master here you know you or me it's like I don't I don't even know what you're talking about
And I took him in the back of the daycare center.
Once the daycare provider left, it was clear that Riley would have rather been out front with the people that he knew.
And so I just sat down with my back against the door, and I was just waiting for him to get comfortable with me.
and as he's marching still saying it's the millennium it's 1999 all of a sudden there was a
body of light that was floating above his physical body and you know I had never seen anything like
that I didn't know what was going on I just thought you know I shouldn't have gone out the
night before you know you thought you were hallucinating yeah I thought something was
really going on. So I literally would rub my eyes, try to get it to go away. It didn't. And so I asked
the logical question to myself. I was like, what the heck am I seeing? What's going on here?
And when I said that in my own head, when I said that to myself, I immediately heard a little boy's
voice. And that voice said, that's my light body. You're here to put my light body back with my
physical body. And I just remember going, I don't know what you mean. What does that mean? What's
going to happen? And what I didn't kind of really register in the moment, I mean, I knew something
massive had happened in that moment. But what I didn't really register is, you know, that first
year of working with him, he was working with me telepathically, communicating with me, telling me
what to do to support his integration. I didn't have to figure out what that was. He was actually
telling me. And he's four. And he was telling you telepathically or verbally? Yeah. Well,
he would tell me telepathically, but because I'm a speech language pathologist and I like everything
like data driven at that time, I would just ask him, I'd say, this is what I think I heard you
say? Is that true? And he would touch a yes or a no, or he'd give me some kind of indication that
I had got it right. Wow. And so it was a big first year. Yeah. So basically, I mean,
because when I was reading your story and your book, you talked about how you had started,
like many people, you had started to be pulled for any variety of reasons toward kind of opening
your mind to things beyond the 3D before you even met him, right? Not really. No, you hadn't? So
this was your beginning. The only thing, what I will say is prior to meeting Riley, I was in a
Gnostic Orthodox monastery for a while. My husband at the time and his mother and different people in
their family were involved with this organization. But in all honesty, when I got in that, I thought
that they were just weird. And then as I was in it, I definitely had, like, I would say some
spiritual connections or what I would call like, because it was orthodox, Gnostic orthodox,
there was a big focus on the mother of God, Mary and Jesus and that. So I did have some experiences,
especially with Mary up until that point. But there was really nothing else that would
lead me to believe that I had multidimensional sight and was a telepathic communicator.
You had no idea before Riley that you were a telepathic communicator.
No, no.
And so what I loved about the story, and you've told the story in the telepathy tapes, but also
in your book, about how he, over the course of that, I guess, year working with him, was,
like you said, guiding you to help him bring his light body back into his physical body. Now that
struck me on so many levels. We're going to talk about how the hell you bring your light body into
your physical body, but it also, because this is something only in graduate school did I really
work a lot with kids and there weren't many of them, you know, but with some kids on the spectrum
And then also throughout my career with adults and young adults on the spectrum.
And I certainly had two kids of my three who were on the spectrum.
So I have always felt that they definitely have these superhuman capabilities.
But also, I never knew until I read what you wrote about that I'd never thought about it
that way.
But there is a level of, for lack of a better term, in my higher functioning kids, for instance,
a lack of coordination. Like I used to call my eldest is Ethan. I used to call them Ethan
earthquakes because all of a sudden he would just like trip over his own feet while standing still
could never like hand-eye coordination, like body, you know, getting his body to move from point A to
point B in any kind of graceful way. Same thing with my middle one who, and then when you move
toward the kids who are, or the young adults who are nonverbal, you know, who are really unable to
talk or communicate or move their bodies in any kind of clearly coordinated way for any length
of time. I had never thought of it as part of the underpinning of that or the reason underneath that
being that they're not in their body. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. And it just lets you know, too, that
you know, quite frankly, I think most human beings aren't quite in their bodies. You know,
we have all kinds of reasons why, you know, we disassociate from different aspects of ourselves.
But when you look at non-speakers, especially, and that disconnect, it's almost like they're
staying in the realms and the realities of, you might say, their wholeness, where they are whole,
where that consciousness is complete. And it's very challenging to get that frequency, you might
say, or that information field, kind of interfaced with the physical body when the physical body
is so conditioned to separation.
We've all been conditioned to forget who we actually are.
And these kids are kind of like coming, especially the non-speakers, but all of them, you know,
to one degree or another and saying, no, I'm just going to stay where it's vibrationally
comfortable for me to stay.
I'm not coming to you guys. You're all coming to us, you know. And so thus it begins, you know, this amazing invitation that this population brings to all of us, you know. And if they can wake up somebody like me, they can wake up anybody.
Yeah. And I really do think that's part of their purpose here is to cultivate and catalyze the awakening of everybody. That's why they came here now and probably why they're coming here in mass now. And just to drill down into what you just said, the basic premise, and this is not only your understanding, but if you listen to the telepathy tapes, all the parents and most of the experts who work with these kids on one level or another are saying the same thing.
And we talk a lot about frequency on this show.
My book is Quantum Love, about harnessing your body's energy to create the love life you want and how we can move to these higher frequencies.
We talk a lot about communicating with the other side and how once we leave these bodies, and this is going to be relevant, once we leave these bodies, we're vibrating at such a high frequency that the human body could never reach.
so when we want to commune with them we have to raise our vibration which is the ironic part when
you're grieving because your vibration is low but we need to raise our that's what a medium for
instance does a true medium would raise their vibration or almost leave their body in order
to connect to those higher realms so these kids who are vibrate especially the the ones that are
further along the spectrum of autism the non-speakers and maybe even people who can speak
are vibrating. They come in already at such a high vibration, which is, I guess, why it's hard
to be in their bodies is what you're saying. And it's disjointed. It feels uncomfortable and too
hard to be in their bodies, or they just aren't naturally in their bodies. What is it?
It literally is a frequency mismatch, basically. So as far as I can tell, speaking to the collective
consciousness of this population for 26 years now, it's like what they continue to suggest
is that, you know, humanity really wanted a new type of human.
Humanity really wanted, and consciously or unconsciously, we were all calling out for
something that was beyond the old linear kind of patriarchal kind of reality.
And there was something in 1987 called the Harmonic Convergence, and the Harmonic Convergence was an astrological configuration that you might say just kind of created a gateway or an opening so that a lot of these souls that were being called forth by us, they started showing up.
they started trickling in, you know, in 1986, 1987, like one in 10,000. But once that gateway
was open, then you had all these souls that were coming quicker and quicker. And every one of those
souls was, I'm going to say, coming from the field of oneness. It's like they literally are,
they understand totality, they understand oneness. But when they come into a body that is
imprinted, you know, through the DNA and through other means, through just being physical,
nature and nurture, as they come into that body, it's like taking this very subtle, refined,
beautiful energy and slamming it into something that really holds a field of separation. It's
very divisive. It's very extractive. And the frequency of who they are in truth and what
their bodies are are a complete mismatch and because of that mismatch you've got dysregulation
you've got kids who even you know like their neurological function these kids neurological
function their right hemispheres are so much more open than ours are and it's not their left
hemispheres are broken or anything like that it's just that if you had so much information
coming through your neurology on any given day you would be dysregulated too yeah and we see this
with you know people who have had heightened spiritual experiences or you know had kundalini
awakenings or had something where they went from you know basic separation kind of energy all of
a sudden to knowing their vastness, very often those people are very dysregulated for quite
some time. Yeah. And they're taking in so much more. Like I always say, you know, we know that
we take in 40 billion bits of information into our brains, for instance, every millisecond.
But the average human only consciously processes 2,000 of those 40 billion bits.
now imagine if the floodgates were open or you came into a body and they never were closed
right and you're taking in close to you know a lot more than 2 000 if not 40 billion right like that
is enough yeah it's going to make you curl up in a ball and want to stay in your bed or you would
naturally be trying to move that energy so whether we're talking about flapping or stimming or making
sounds or, again, all this kind of natural methodology of processing all that information.
And I truly believe that the reason why a lot of the kids are, I know we talk about
apraxia and things like that with autism, but part of me, every time I look at it energetically,
I'm going, you know, if any of us had that much information processing through our neurology,
we would have a hard time articulating it.
Yeah.
I know.
Yeah, and moving it.
Yeah, and I know for a fact that when Riley kind of opened me up,
I mean, I was seeing and hearing and understanding and perceiving so much more.
I didn't have words for that.
There was no way that I could formulate something around that.
It took years to be able to have the language to explain what that looks like
and what that feels like.
Yeah. And that's been one of the beautiful gifts that I know you've brought to so many families who have loved ones or children who are on the spectrum. And, you know, the whole premise, and this is a big part of your book as well, is that a lot of these symptoms that we say are problematic or need to be fixed or behaviors, I should say, that are problematic or need to be fixed with people on the spectrum, whether they're far along the spectrum or higher, quote unquote, functioning, meaning they're fit more.
into society's norms of behavior that's what i mean by higher functioning because i really think
the ones further along the spectrum are actually higher functioning on an energetic level but that
they all these behaviors that are problematic one of the things that you really you're almost like a
guide and a translator for these the children and or adults on the spectrum with their families
translating what these behaviors really are and that they aren't something that necessarily
needs to be fixed, but that they are a symptom of an energetic surge or, and, or, and this is
the part I want you to speak a little bit more about because Lord knows this has been my deal
with my kids. They are mirrors. So when they are acting out, and by the way, guys, I would say this
guardless of your kid acting out, they are the barometers. Like they are reflecting something
back to you, right? But with these kids, speak to that, how those behaviors, how much things change
when you start looking at it through that lens and how that works. Yeah. Well, I mean, I think
first going back to neurology and the way that neurology is set up, if you've got access to that
much information and we know, you know, through the telepathy tapes where everybody is learning
much more about this. But, you know, just like Riley could see something in me that I didn't
even know existed. I didn't know I had that ability. And, you know, he can just turn the key.
So you've got a population of kids who hears your thoughts. They know your feelings. They
understand what's going on in your body. And, you know, most parents are conditioned, like you just
said, you know, to, no, I don't, I'm feeling great. Everything's fine. You know, to hide that
feeling. And what's interesting with these kids is you can kind of try to hide it all day, every
day, but they see it, feel it, know it. And I remember a long time ago, the kids saying, we
really don't care how our parents feel. We care that they know how they feel. Because when they
know how they feel, then they say what they are actually experiencing. So if you've got kids that
can see into you 24-7, and if we're holding certain aspects of ourself like, oh, I shouldn't
feel that way, or I shouldn't be thinking those thoughts, or my body's not doing very well because
it doesn't feel good. These kids mirror that back to us on steroids. You know, I agree with you,
Laura. I think every child is kind of custom designed to mirror the, you might say, the
unloved or the unhealed aspects of their parents. You know, that's why a child that's the most like
us is the one that's the most irritating sometimes. But when you take that to the
extent of somebody who has the capacity that children on the spectrum have, now you've got
a really delicate situation to say the least, because you've got kids who can see every single
facet of you and are telling you over and over again, don't hide anything, share everything,
be authentic, be real. And at the same time, you've got parents who are just trying to get
through the day because their kids' behaviors are showing them something that a lot of parents
don't know is a mirror. And even if they do know it's a mirror, sometimes they take it personally.
And so instead of going, oh, he's trying to show me something, I can be with this feeling. I can
be with what this is bringing up for me. Most people like, oh my gosh, why am I going through
this? Why am I, you know, being... Which then exacerbates things more because now they're
trying to be kind to the child while inside they're like, mother... You know? And that's
what the child or the person is feeling. You gave some beautiful stories and scenarios that
reflected that in your book. I'm just thinking of one that was with, just to give people an example
of what this might look like in action. And maybe you have another example, but I was thinking of
the teacher, there was a teacher in a classroom that you were in, and the child was, quote,
unquote, being disruptive by trying to touch her, or, you know, can you tell that story?
Yeah, this was in a preschool setting, and the teacher was reading a book, and I think
Polar Express, or some book that every teacher reads at some point, a preschool teacher,
And she was reading it. And the minute she started reading it, the child started rocking. And when the rocking didn't work, because he was feeling something energetically, and the rocking didn't work, he literally got up and grabbed her by the front of the shirt, like grabbed her chest.
And through her eyes, you know, she's just reading a book to everybody.
He's becoming disruptive.
He's becoming aggressive.
And afterwards, I asked her, I said, you know, I'm just watching it energetically during that time.
And she was reading the book, and she had on her happy teacher face while she was reading it.
But something else was going on.
And so I asked her afterwards, I said, you know, when you were reading the book, everything looked good.
But it felt like you were really sad or upset.
And she kind of got defensive at first.
And then she said, well, truth is, I used to read that book to my son all the time when
he was young, and we're now estranged from each other.
So every time I read that book, I think about the sadness.
And I said, well, this little boy sitting there is feeling the discord, and he's trying
to move that energy out of your field by rocking his body. He doesn't like the feeling of it. So
he's trying to move that energy. And when that energy doesn't work, when that movement doesn't
work, he reaches out and tries to grab it right out of your heart because it's literally an
energetic field that's blocking the heart. So he wasn't trying to attack you. He wasn't trying to
grab your chest or anything. He was literally trying to move energy. And she just burst into
tears. She's like, oh my gosh, I've been so hard on this kid and he's been trying to help me not
hurt me. Hey, it's Dr. Laura Berman. I've been a sex, love and relationship therapist for over
30 years. And the main question I always get asked is how the heck do we spice it up in a
long-term monogamous relationship? Well, if you want to take your love life, your sex life to

And so that does make me want to cry because it's so sweet. And so if she had, not that she ever
would have done this to a group of preschoolers or whatever, but let's say just for the sake of
the example, if she had been able to say, you know what? I loved it. I'm so excited to read
this story, but there's a part of me that also feels sad because I miss my son and I used to
read to him, and she had claimed and recognized that sadness, or if she had been able to even
get the cue from the child, oh, something's going on, let me tune in, oh shit, I'm feeling sad, and
even acknowledged it, would that have alleviated the discomfort in him? Is it the discord between
what they're feeling and sensing and what they're seeing in an adult's behavior, or would he still
have wanted to pull it out of her. No, I think, you know, again, it's like,
we don't care how you feel. We care that you know how you feel. And the reason that that knowing
part is so important is because the minute we can see something for ourselves, it's already
integrated. You know, it's just when it's coming up and behavior to me is the highest form of
communication because you can talk to people who are very verbal, very communicative, and
they say one thing and they do something completely different, right?
So if you look at behavior as the highest form of communication, then very often these
kids, I say to parents all the time, kids who are banging their heads up against the
wall or, you know, kids who are screaming at the top of their lungs or, again, very
gently shifting that back, not as a blame to a parent because it's not a blame, it's
just a question mark.
How might we be beating our heads up against the wall?
How might we be screaming inside of our own inner worlds like, ah, this is too hard, this
is too much?
But again, the moment that we just say, this is what's going on for me.
I also think a lot of the challenge for, especially for verbal communication with these kids,
it's a lot of times they say, number one, telepathy is a very pure form of communication.
It's, you're not speaking in words, you're literally vibrating a connection, right?
And if we take that communication down the scale, we also know that, you know, those moments where maybe we've had somebody in our life that we just loved and adored and we didn't have to talk, we didn't have to fill up the space in order to be with them, that energy was more unconditional.
You know, we know what it feels like to sit in a space with somebody like that.
But if you bring it down to verbal communication, the vast majority of the people on this planet do not say what they mean.
Wow.
And these kids will absolutely demand authenticity.
I mean, they will keep at it until, you know, the parent says, ah, I can't take it anymore.
But what's beautiful about them pushing the way they do is that I have heard so many breakthrough stories at that very moment when the parent couldn't take it anymore.
The very moment where the parent just says, you know what, this is too hard.
I can't do it.
This is overwhelming.
That's when you get the first verbal I love you from your child.
That's when you get that child that comes in and holds that parent and loves them and supports them.
These kids are very, very capable of helping us grow mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
And the more we look at it through that lens, the easier things get pretty darn quickly.
Yeah, I love that so much.
And I know so much of the work that you do, among other kinds of work, is to support parents
of kids on the spectrum in this way, to teach educators and parents how to work with these
kids in this way, how to work with the behaviors and the symptoms in this way.
What are some of the, like you mentioned one, that it's hard to have a mirror shown to you
the people get defensive, right? Or even in denial about how they're really feeling. I mean,
I remember the first, after that session about my son with the psychic medium, I took him back to
her. I told him about it, thinking he was just going to roll his eyes at me, you know, like he
usually did. And he certainly was like Mr. Physics and Science and, you know, not interested in what
he thought was woo-woo in his mind. But when I told him that, what this psychic had said about
him, he was like, yeah, I don't know why I'm saying this, but I think that that's true. And
then I said, okay, well, let me do this. And she had instructed me on how to kind of move my body
into coherence, basically where my brain and my heart were in electromagnetic harmony and hug him
and ground him with, you know, and send love into his heart. And I was like, okay, well,
let me just show you this other thing then. And he completely melted this kid. And he said,
and he's still at almost 30, asked for grounding hugs, but he would often, and once again, this
is a kid that to most people wouldn't even know that right off the bat, you know, that he's on
the spectrum, so to speak. He will call out any time. I'm not being authentic.
It's brutal sometimes.
Yeah, it's brutal. So I mean, it's beautiful and I've learned to just surrender to it.
It's also hard because as the parent, you want to kind of, not now, I mean, not now that he's
an adult, but when he was younger, like, wait a minute, I'm supposed to be the authority here.
You know, we have all these stories, but really he's been my guide as much as, or more as I've
been his. But what other things do you run into with parents and maybe even educators too that
are, you know, that people listening can think about even in their own lives? And we're going
to have them, I want, I'm going to ask you about the blue sphere technology in a minute. We're
going to give them a few pearls of things to try, but in general, like where do you see the resistance
or the blocks or the struggles as you teach people how to work with kids and young adults
on the spectrum this way? I think the most challenging part is because we're all
geared towards the human experience. You know, we're all geared towards the physical.
Anytime you look at somebody whose physical life looks discombobulated, looks disoriented,
you know, we already have a preconceived idea in our heads about who that person is.
But the truth is, is that these kids might not be able to verbally communicate or those kinds of things in their bodies might be dysregulated, but they're brilliant.
I mean, quite frankly, they have access to more information than many of us do.
I worked with so many kids, like even on a, I'll say on a strictly kind of cognitive level, so many kids that understand multiple languages can read and write and all this in multiple languages, but they can't speak, right?
And so you've got that, and then you've also got the multidimensional skill sets where they have access to other worlds, other realities, other information fields that most of us are closed off from.
So again, I think the biggest challenge is we're looking at them through the lens of separation because we don't know our own interconnectedness to all.
And so we look at them and we judge them by the eyes that we're looking through, basically.
and so I think you know even getting to the place where we open up a little bit more and assume
that just because the package looks a particular way does not mean that that's what the essence of
that person is and so that's a that's a huge piece I think that's a huge challenge and it's a huge
challenge for therapists and teachers and things like that as well because they went to school
and they learned a particular model, you know, if you see a child that looks like this, this child
is broken. This child needs you. They need your support. I don't believe that anymore at all.
You know, thousands of kids now, and every single one of them, when you ask and when you can ask,
they know exactly what they need. You know, it's like asking the higher parts of ourselves what
we need, we would know. And they absolutely know what they need. They know what will benefit them.
And they also do not assume that just because they know what they need, that it'll be easy
to integrate what they need. But I'm amazed at, quite frankly, at the patience of these kids.
You know, when people get to the point where they're saying, oh, my kid's aggressive,
or they're acting out or they're, and I always kind of go, one, how old are they? How long have
they been without communication or without somebody to really mirror who they are in truth,
not just what they're perceived to be. And that alone makes an enormous difference.
When I first started working, I really felt like I was maybe more of a bridge between their worlds
in the worlds of the parent. And now I feel more like a coherent field, like literally just
being with them. They're human beings, brilliant human beings that I've learned so much from.
And you just enter that space with them. And the minute they feel seen and heard and valued,
just like anybody, right? Our whole field starts to stabilize and that includes their bodies.
yeah and you mean not just saying i see and hear you but energetically being in that state of
coherence and clarity that i am joining you in that higher frequency yeah that's because again
we can say our actions speak louder than words but also our vibration even speaks louder than
our actions for these kids so i think that when we when we can truly not you know oh i see you
oh, aren't you cute? Aren't you so special? And we're going to ask you to do your ABCs when you're
20. You know, it's like, that's not, I see you, right? A lot of parents will say, well, I can't
see them. I don't know how to see them. And one of the things I tell parents all the time is ask
them, say, I'm curious about you. I don't see what you see. I don't know what you know. I don't have
access to what you have access to, but I'd sure like an invitation into your world. And it's
amazing when a parent says that from a place of just heart-centered authenticity, man, I really
want to get to know you. Wherever I have to go to do that, you know, in my own psyche, in my own
consciousness, I want to go. And usually that very night, they'll have a dream about their child or
they'll hear something that they've never heard before.
It's just that we spend so much time asking these kids to come into our world
so that it becomes more comfortable for us to be with them.
And sometimes they'll try.
Sometimes they succeed.
But very often, if they succeed, they lose a little bit of what they have access to.
And I just keep telling parents or professionals,
It's like, let's go to where they are, because let me tell you, that field, that purity, that clarity, it's a place I think we'd all really like to hang out if we got a taste of it.
And so I'm going to ask you in a second, you know, guys, if you haven't listened to the telepathy tapes, this will make even more sense to you when you do, because a lot of it is talking about how these kids, especially the non-speakers, are for their entire lives.
Maybe now they're in their teens or in their early 20s even or whatever age because they don't speak and they can't move in any kind of, you know, consistently cogent way.
They are seen as developmentally delayed and they are put into these remedial kind of programs where they're using coloring books and trying to teach them their ABCs.
and they're not speaking when really they could run circles around people with multiple PhDs
in terms of their intellect and their capabilities intellectually, much less
metaphysically. And then it also starts to reveal how these kids are communicating with teachers,
parents, friends telepathically. And so that's kind of what you're speaking to here, Susie,
is like joining their world and for your average I mean I know it's a much bigger process than what
you can answer here but how does one you first ask for you know I'd like I'm curious I authentically
want to understand your world show me your world I'm open to however I can get there but what what
kinds of things do you teach educators therapists parents for moving into the vibration that you now
naturally do in order to join them in that field where they're existing and can communicate with
you? Well, I think first, it's really important to know that as human beings, our intention
is everything. So, you know, and again, we're conditioned out of it. We don't believe that
over a number of years. You know, we don't think we can just ask for something and receive it.
but absolutely when it does come to this population especially when you say with authenticity
that you want to move into that that even that you're curious about them that you just want to
understand more that gives them the impetus to find ways in and because they know your energetic
field they know your mind they know your emotions like nobody else they're gonna find a way in so
that's what I mean. Usually, you know, that very first night you ask, you have a dream or something
happens. The other thing I tell parents all the time is we're all telepathic. There's not a person
on this planet that's not innately telepathic. Again, there's not a person on this planet that's
not innately a divine human. You know, we're both. But because of that conditioning, we have so many
layers on top of what we actually are, that it's really supportive and helpful to start
peeling off those layers.
So we can peel off those layers through meditation.
We can peel off those layers through breath work.
We can peel off those layers through inner child work.
But any way in which, and especially that we start releasing our emotional body load,
right?
We all have certain patterns that, you know, every single time somebody says that thing to us, we go into that pattern.
And it's just a part of ourselves that's just never been loved.
It's never been integrated.
So most of the people that hang around with me or have for any length of the time, you know, I mention the presence process by Michael Brown all the time.
And it's basically a 10-week process that uses breathwork and gives you a very succinct strategy to start pulling off some of those layers.
Because the beautiful thing is, is as we pull those off, we kind of go, oh, I know more about who I am.
And then all of a sudden, I have parents all the time go, what happened to my kid?
You know, my kid's completely different.
I go, no, your kid's been the same the whole time.
It's just they're no longer having to mirror certain things back because you've addressed and loved those parts of yourself.
And it's a tricky one, I will say, for this population because it's a 24-7 job.
You know, it's like it's a big one.
And the kids have also often said it's not just a nice thing to say to our parents that they need to take care of themselves.
that they need to put themselves at least in the mix of everything that's going on.
It's not just a nice thing to say, it's mandatory, because if that vibrational field always stays the same,
then the kids are always mirroring the same thing.
And I know firsthand by going through the presence process myself way too many times at this point,
almost getting it to be a now it's just part of daily living but watching myself go through those
10-week processes going holy cow you're going through it and you think what's happening here
is anything happening here you know i've just cried for the last 10 weeks what's that gonna do
you know but again as that process is out now all of a sudden you're shedding and you're broadcasting
a different frequency. Yes. I always say that the only way to raise your frequency in any kind of
sustainable way is to heal, to release the density, which are those shadows and those
unhealed parts of ourselves and the parts of ourselves that stay stuck in despair or rage or
guilt or shame or lack of forgiveness or whatever it is that we all have. So yeah, I think that's
beautiful. Now tell us about, I saw you speaking somewhere, maybe it was online, but I loved it,
about if it was either the Blue Sphere or the Blue Star technology. I thought that was a beautiful
process. Yeah. So very early on, the kids gave me a process to start turning over these challenges
that we all have. So whether it's a thought that we can't get rid of, or it's an emotion that comes
up over and over, or even something physical that seems like it's gotten lodged in our bodies.
Basically, the technique is, you know, we close our eyes, we get connected to whatever that
piece is, and then we invite that part that no longer serves us to go out and place it in that
sphere. It's like you're putting it in a container, right? A blue container of light. Well, it's,
In this case, the sphere is first, so it's just a clear sphere.
Okay, got it.
And for me, because I do see the way I see, a lot of times when that information goes into that sphere, like there will be anger or frustration or there'll be other things that are associated with it.
Just nice to know and see.
But then we add a blue star to the center of that sphere with all that information in it.
the blue star, as the kids have told me, represent where we're already whole. We already, I mean,
there's some aspect of us that already remembers our wholeness. It's just that we don't pay
attention to that part very often. We pay attention to what's broken, right? Yeah. It's like the
perspective of the higher self. Exactly. Exactly. So that blue star goes in, spins through all of
that information. It's basically, you're just clearing the field. And once you've cleared the
field, typically that all compresses back into that blue storm. We just return it to before we
ever created it. And I think that the interesting part about those words, return it to before we
created it. So right there, what we're saying is none of this life experience that's going on,
no matter how traumatic it's been, none of it has been punishment. None of it has been at the hands
of someone else. It's something that our higher selves chose for this incarnation. So the moment
that we kind of go, okay, I see that. I know it. I've cleared it. Return it to before I ever created
that. It's like, I've got other things to do. And to me, once we've seen something, for most people,
they'll say well I see this process or I see this imprint in me this conditioning in me but I can't
do anything about it and it just keeps cycling around and cycling around it's like okay let's
just go through this little step-by-step process and let's get in the habit of doing that over and
over again what most people come back with is like okay I didn't have to psychoanalyze myself
I didn't have to, something just moved.
Yeah, they can feel it.
Yeah, because they actually chose in that moment to transmute it instead of hold on
to it and review it.
Yeah, yeah.
And so you don't have to, just for your average person listening, you don't have to have the
capacity like Susie to see it or even to feel some big transformation or see all the parts.
you're just kind of using where intention goes energy flows you're using the visualization of it
and imagining it yeah and i tell people all the time just if you don't see feel anything
just imagine that it's happening yes get in the habit of going into that imagination cycle
so that you don't have to hold on to something because a lot of times what people do is they
see what comes up and then they start analyzing it they start looking at themselves and like what's
wrong with me and how can i fix that and why did my mother or my father do that yeah you stay in
the spiral and you just loop it in tighter so this just gives us another thing to basically for the
mind to do yeah that just dispels that energy and then we just keep going i love how they described
it, like go back to before I created it. It reminds me of what one of my spiritual teachers
taught me about. I mean, this is kind of a universal, I guess, among many spiritualists
of the violet flame. Yeah. Yeah. That when you put, and I do that all the time when I wake up
in the middle of the night with anxiety, I'll just put my whole self in the violet flame.
Yeah. And it reminds me of that. Yeah. You have so many beautiful teachings. I know people can
read your book, Awesomism. Is that how you say it? Awesomism? That's it. Where else can they
find you, find your work, learn from you, whether they love someone on the spectrum or not? Because
I know you work with, I mean, you work in that population a lot, but you also help other people
just kind of process their awakening or access these higher realms or things like that.
Yeah, everything can be found at suzymiller.com. And there is a lot of information for parents and professionals of kids on the spectrum. But like you say, there's also a lot of information just for people who are wanting to integrate some aspect of themselves that they've kind of held at a distance or didn't quite understand. So yeah, it's a fun place to hang out.
Yeah. Beautiful. Well, I'm so grateful for the work that you do in the world and to you for
sharing your wisdom and your time with us today. Thank you so much. Thanks for having me, Laura.
