I'm Melissa Jeltson, host of the What Happened to Her podcast.

a case the police rode off as a suicide in a snowstorm.
Her family never bought it, and the man they suspected wore a badge.
You never know who that devil is because he's wearing in disguise.
Sometimes it's a police uniform.

Podcasts are a visual medium.
If you're not watching me right now,
I am holding in my hands my vinyl.
It's called Have You Heard of Christmas?
The answer to that question is coming.
At this time, it's really Christmas.
I'm playing all over the country
and in London and in Canada.
That makes it a world tour.
Harry Styles, you're on burn notice.
I'll see you soon.
And it would be such a powerful experience
for me on stage.
Yeah.
To be like, one, two, three, goon.
And everyone in the ground just like starts getting.
Look, Matt.
Where? Oh, I see.
Wow.
Bowen, look over there.
Wow, is that culture?
Yes.
Oh, goodness.
Wow.
Las cultureistas.
Ding dong, Las Culturistas calling.
And it looks like Matt and Bowen are the readers today.
A bell especialito.
Especialito news.
Podcasts are a visual medium.
We actually hit the.
presses with Especialito
with our guest, Zara Larson, on
the cover. Manhattan. It's Especialito
Manhattan. I guess there's different
borough version. Can we just, Rachel, you
found these on the streets? This
is fantastic. So this is really, this is
front page news, okay?
This is, this is Zara at the
Grammys. Holy hell.
And she will return next year or they
will be dealt with.
I mean, that's the way, that's
the way we Grammy campaign is we just make
threats. We just threaten.
Has it worked before?
Sort of?
No.
No.
Hey Matt.
Laget.
Go ahead.
Now define it.
Swedish for what's up.
Do you speak any Swedish?
No.
I didn't really nail it, did I?
So I'm just a ghost.
She's a ghost right now, but she will, she's going to become corporal in just seconds.
Here's some Swedish for you.
This is a gag.
She's the youngest winner of Talang.
Uh-huh.
A period.
Period.
First of all,
youngest winner of Talang,
and is that,
did I say it right?
Talang.
Talang.
That was beautiful.
And I became aware
of our guest
when fellow Pisces,
Joel Kimbooster,
sent me a song
called Ruin My Life
several years ago.
So this is post-lush life
and post,
wow.
Literally.
Well, this is what we'll talk about today
is I feel like people
arrive to our guests
in many different timeslines,
and now it is sort of
universal monoculture
and thank God.
But when I heard Ruin My Life
and Jill Kimbuster
said,
to me. This is our song. Midnight Sun was an album of the year nominee at the Lost
Culture Awards because it is one of the albums of the year. And honestly, I'm just excited about
what the today is going to bring. I'm so excited. She's a Grammy nominated icon. Everyone
please welcome.
Zara Larson! And we brought back that silly pillow for you today because actually you do make it
work. Thank you. Yes. And now I see it. Now I see it. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, the prince.
You know what I mean?
Wait, and then tell us about...
Mouvelle?
Who's Mouvel?
She's from Chicago, and I saw her in a store, and she was just so cute.
And I figured she could be a very chic plain pillow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Has she been comfortable on the road?
Very.
She helped me out a lot, actually.
She's a bit scruffed up in the hair.
She needs, like, a little bonnet or something.
She needs a bonnet, for sure.
But she's happy.
She's happy.
Can I see her facial expression?
Yeah.
Oh, she's booning.
She's gooning
Movedo!
No.
Gooning icon.
Zara just gooned a little bit for the camera.
If you want to see that, hit YouTube.com.
No, but I'm going to keep her here for now because she's always in my bag.
Of course.
But we brought her up for you guys, so.
Thank you for that.
Now, would you ever goon with your Swedish boy over FaceTime?
Have you all done that?
Yes, but it doesn't happen very often.
No, I can I just say?
It's a bit.
I don't know.
I just sort of happen sometimes
It's like, whoopsie
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oops, good
I can't believe that happened, but no
But yes, it has happened.
I want to say,
I don't like it.
Yeah, I don't like phone sex.
Can I say whenever it's presented to me
As an option, like whenever you're sending
photos back and forth with someone you're talking to
and then someone says, do you want to just FaceTime?
I always panic.
Right.
I'm kind of like, I don't want to do that.
There's something hot about like sex-sting
because it feels like, you know,
I'm in my own fantasies.
I can make up scenarios.
But then once you see it on a screen
and it's just someone like...
Yeah, I know.
You're sort of like, now I see the animal in you.
Yeah.
And animals are sort of a theme already.
You know what I mean?
No, like...
But you went in your head,
you went like this, like in your...
Like, you're locked in.
No, I was locked in because also
I was just posted a story
on my way here to New York on the airplane.
And there's something about airplanes
to me personally that makes me really horny.
Yeah.
Some of my best sexting conversations have happened on New York to LA flights.
Like what is that about?
I think it's just the fact that and when you were going like this with your brain sort of giving X-Men Professor Xavier,
what I thought you were doing was you were showing your creativity because that's to me my favorite part of the sexting process is you get to be a little creative with your answers.
Whereas on FaceTime, you're put on the spot.
Yes, like a little prose.
Haiku.
A little haiku for you.
Hygooning
Is that a new thing
Hygoo?
But why do you do the face so well?
You are perfectly the emoji.
You know what it is too?
What?
The people I work with, we have a thing called like
if someone's gooning, it means they're fired.
Because I want everyone around me to be able to do a goon face
because that what it is, yes.
To me, that's like, are you free?
Yeah.
Are you careful?
free? Are you yourself? Like, can you be silly?
Yeah. And if I ask someone on the spot, like, make a goon face and they're like,
I can't do that. I'm like, you got to go. You're not the flavor. You're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're,
that's part, that's part of the job interview. Oh, here. So you're saying everyone, everyone in that
next room over there. Chris goon. Can we drive an interview for Zara's team?
I've kind of been doing it the whole time. Go ahead. You go. And that's a Broadway go. Yeah. You can say.
Thank you.
my own.
Yes, it's like, let's be silly.
Do it and hold it for just like one second.
I'm scared now.
Maybe I'm gooning now.
Maybe I'm the one who's getting good.
No, no, you're fired.
But I like to do the, I like to do these two.
Yeah, yeah, okay.
Okay, ready?
Watch this.
You think I'm reading about Zama, but I'm groaning.
It's, wow.
The tongue is,
the tongue is,
Zama.
Zama.
Would you go by Zama?
Oh wait, let's let's let's let's really settle this.
Okay.
Because you still aren't loving the fan names.
There's not a single fan name that's going to do it.
Hasn't been anything that has stuck.
Because my first instinct was it for them to like use your name in a way, but then it's like, what are they?
The Larssonians.
That can't be it.
Sluts and Larsonist are like the winners right now.
Larsonist is a lot of fun, but I can see that you are not, you want to keep brainstorming.
I think so.
Yeah.
I'm not like,
to anything.
It's hard.
It's hard.
And I feel like I shouldn't be the one naming it.
That's,
but then that's what makes it kind of not satisfying for you just yet because it's not,
you're not,
you haven't had a say in it.
I guess,
but it's sort of like making a TikTok trend.
Of course.
Yeah.
It's like,
it has to just naturally happen.
I don't want to be sitting with my label to like,
what are we going to do?
Like,
what's going to be the trend?
I think we should use this soundbite so people can do this.
It's like, no.
No.
It's going to happen if it happens.
And if it doesn't, it's just not meant to be.
It's just not organic stuff.
It's kind of like sexting.
Yeah.
It's kind of like, listen, if I wanted to move to FaceTime with you, we would.
Right.
But I'm still in the creative process.
I'm writing.
I'm always writing.
I think what about Gooners?
What if I just called Dara Larson's fans, the Gooners?
See, that's, that's something I like.
And you can take it.
I think we just did it.
I think you just did.
And you really take it back.
And we were gonna get into this with the culture
that made you say culture is for you.
But you take it back from like the dark sort of male energy
around gooning and you really fem it up
and you give it for the queers, you know what I mean?
No, I do it for you.
Oh yeah.
And we thank you for that because we know that is true.
And it would be such a powerful experience for me on stage.
Yeah.
To be like one, two, three, goon and everyone in the ground
just like starts.
You should do that this weekend.
That's beautiful.
Honestly, I don't, I don't.
I don't think anything has brought me more joy than seeing the footage from your concert of them just lifting each other up.
Isn't that beautiful?
You were so funny.
Yeah, that is.
And the fact that every single person would have been up in the air if they could.
I know.
But unfortunately, some people need to be lifters.
I know.
And that's a rule of culture.
Number 10.
Unfortunately, some people need to be lifters.
That goes all the way back to Chile.
It's true.
It's true.
Yeah.
What is it?
Punco?
That was the in Belgrade?
Pop-pop, yes.
Pinkle-pop.
That looks fun.
There's a Marri-Farist wheel there.
It looked like Coachella.
But anyway, it looks fun.
No, Pook-l-Pop.
But you know what?
It pisses me off the name because it means pimple-pop.
Come on.
It's true.
A Pook-l is a pimple.
And it's like, it was started as a teenage festival.
So they were like, Pook-pop?
That's fun.
You know when I goon for you?
Tell me.
Was when I watched you do the,
the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra concert.
Oh wow, okay, deep cut.
Deep cut.
Well, because I was like, I was, I was a fan from the jump.
And then, ruin my life was, it came out and I was like, okay, this is the new era.
That was like a new moment.
Yeah.
Which, and then I was, I was with you on Venus, girl.
Oh, wow.
And then, but then, but then, but before that was Swedish symphony orchestra.
Yes.
Radio symphony orchestra.
Yes.
And you were so stunning.
Thank you.
It was, it was the perfect.
thing of like, oh, the songwriting is so perfectly sweet.
She's such a good vocalist.
Like, it has the orchestral arrangement of it, like, brings out the joy and also the
melancholy of it.
And I think also it was one of the few shows that I've done that wasn't like, I didn't
have any dancers.
I didn't have any lights and like production like that.
It was really about the music.
And I think that's so funny you say that because now when I think back at it, I had a lot
of love from Sweden, like where it was originally broadcasted with the Swedish, like,
Royal Radio Orchestra
or something?
The Swedish
Radio Symphony Orchestra
Exactly.
All great words.
Yeah, no, wonderful.
Gooning together.
It's a symphony
of words.
Exactly.
We need one of the readers,
Katie's publicist,
to do a goon count
on this episode.
How many times we say the world.
Well, it's obviously
the frontrunner for title
of ep is gooning.
Exactly.
Of course.
Of course.
Hey, readers goon.
I want everyone at home
listening to
be gooning right now on the car.
Please.
But so you were saying that it was like
it popped off in Sweden you're saying?
Yeah, like a lot of people were
just expressing their love because
I think it was a really
special show that I've done.
I hadn't done anything like that before.
And
I think especially in pop
music, it just gets so
camouflaged sometimes, like the song
in itself and like my voice because there's
so many things happening on stage and
there's so many people and like there's
quick changes and there's dancers and there's content but now it wasn't that many distractions
so you could you just had to be forced to listen to the song i think that is like one of the coolest
things about like you having this breakout moment over the past couple years is people discovering
just what you are vocally capable of because you can probably literally sing anything your voice
is unbelievable i wanted to ask what's it like to have people come to
to you this late in your career and be like,
I didn't know you could sing like that.
Oh no, that's all good.
Yeah.
At least I'm discovering it.
Yeah, better than never, you know?
100%.
And I really think it's so fun, honestly.
Like we were talking about that last night
because I do have a pretty deep lore at this point.
You do.
And I have so much to discover.
Like if you're a new fan,
it's sort of like finding your favorite TV show
and realize there's 20 seasons of it.
And you know, like, see, like,
series back in the days where they had like 24 episodes.
Oh, you are like Grey's Anatomy.
Exactly.
You are seasons and seasons of 24 episodes.
Exactly.
So I feel like it's really fun.
It's just like dive in.
Yeah.
Enjoy.
Have a good time.
And hop on the train.
From the time you were a baby.
Yeah, I've really been singing my whole life.
Yeah.
I really have.
How old were you on Talang?
Talang?
I was 10.
10.
Yeah, that's 10.
10.
Yeah, that's 28.
So it's, it's way more than a half of my life ago.
Yeah.
And that was really the only
Before that I did like talent shows in malls
And outside of malls
And in parking lots and on fairs
Not ferries
Sort of like cruise ships
Like IKEA parking lots as we know
But then that that Talang audition
I just want to keep saying
You say it with like a gust though
Talang
Talang
Oh and then there was a Swedish phrase
That you were teaching people
On a video was like
the um
the nican's
ost you lucky cheese
de niccans oast
well you're good at this
no he's very good at dialects
you know that English is his third language
wait English is your
sixth second
I feel like you know what do you know Swedish
English and and next year I will be
I will be knowing Spanish
yes so I can read that
what was this
and a specialito
specialito and I was actually
earlier
today listening to the
I was listening to the
B-Day
remix with
Oh yeah
Honestly
I love
Like I love that one
Yeah
irreplaceable
What is it irreplaceable?
Yeah, I guess
Yeah, you know best, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You really are the Biotter
What's that?
Maybe Spanish album
Or like Spanish version of
the album like that's cute.
Becca, just gasped our producer.
Becca, quit gooning over there.
How would you say Midnight Sun and Espaniel?
Oh.
Becca Goon?
Yeah.
Midnight?
Come on, Becca Ramos.
Maybe, maybe just like, what is night?
Night is a noche.
Noche, yes.
Sol de midia noche.
Oh, I like that.
That's a nice ring to it.
So dea dea noche.
What is that?
The Midnight Sun vocal there, like that being the stem of the year,
we're gooting for that.
Yeah.
And when you do make it to the end, you know it's going to be a good day.
Oh, wonderful.
It's a vocal warm of every morning.
And I engage the core.
And they like, posture fixed.
That's kind of how to do.
But in a real way, though, like your shows are Olympic vocally in that way.
But you are moving a lot.
So what's prep for you like when with vocally, are you like a sort of Olympian with that or no?
No?
No, I don't do shit.
You don't do shit.
That's not fair.
I know.
There's not even a vocal culture around.
You're just kind of.
No Eric Vitro for me.
No Eric Vitro for you.
Period.
I love that you're like, oh, you Eric Vitro girls.
I did used to see him.
Yeah, he's amazing.
Yeah, no, he is.
He's wonderful.
And he's so lovely.
But I just, I'm lazy.
I think that's what it is.
You're not lazy.
Well, I'm comfortable.
I'm comfortable.
And you know your voice.
And I love to chill.
Like, I love to sit down.
Yes.
Like, I love to lay down.
Actually, I can't lie.
Like, the thought has crossed my mind of like,
would it be weird if I lay down on this couch?
You want to do it?
Yes.
You do it.
I want you to be as comfortable as possible.
Yes, period.
Can we still?
Is she still on camera?
That's weird.
I'll sit up for you.
Fine.
I love this.
for you. I love you being like horizontal.
Yeah, no, I love that.
This is very Mariah coated. Oh, okay. I meant it.
By the way, if you do want a cup with Mariah on it, we have one for you.
We have a Mariah cup.
Oh, I love that.
Thank you.
I'll put my water in that.
No, but I, um, I feel like my warm up is, I talk a lot.
So it's not like I don't use my voice.
I talk a lot and I did, I just sing all day.
I sing a lot.
And, um, I feel like I swear.
I feel like I sort of warm up throughout the day.
Yeah.
And then sometimes when I have time, I will go in and join my dancers warm up.
Because one of my dancers, she's a Pilates instructor.
So she'll do like a 15 minute, like stretch and strength.
Yeah.
And then it does make you feel so much better, though.
So I'm still young, but like, I want to do this for a long time.
And I think it's more about preserving.
Yes.
Then, like, reaching.
You know what I'm saying?
Because I know I can go out and like sing midnight sun
or like sing all my songs.
But I also just want to like take care of my voice.
Yeah.
You know?
Yeah.
Totally.
But I just I just all I do all the time every day.
Right.
But I feel like something like I don't know.
I'm relating to this in some way where it's like
Talang was about like working all the way up to like one performance.
Right.
Yeah.
And then like that would determine so many things.
So many things.
With touring and with performing.
Totally.
album and with like keeping this air going which i want to talk about like it is about like having
multiple turns at bat and like you get to like make it better each time totally yeah you get to you get
to know the material so to say yes like i also think it's really scary to perform on tv because usually
when you do the song is like now when i have my sing like singles out and release and stuff it's brand new
so sometimes the first time i'm performing a song is on tv right and those three minutes they count so
much rather than when you do like your one and a half hour show and you do it again and
again and again and again like I wish I could perform in Night's Sun on TVs now after I've
been touring it for a year yes but now it's like oh news whatever whatever right right but now I'm
like I know how to you know where to to to place my feet when I do this step so I can you
know what I mean it's like you find like an extra inflection in somewhere that you like damn I
wish I could have incorporated that like whenever one's
and saw it for the first time.
Yeah, I get that.
I think that, like, you can just do, I mean, it doesn't help,
but just to know that you've already done it so many times,
you literally started on TV.
Yeah.
I think that, like, is, and then, like, the Swedish Radio Symphony is, like,
that is, like, because that was televised.
And that was that live?
Or did that get cut that together?
Wow.
And then they televised it later.
And then you were saying, like, you couldn't see the conductor or something,
or you can tell what the conductor was doing?
Well, I don't know.
Even if I would have seen him, I wouldn't know what the hell
I was doing.
You're like, that's cute for you.
I just sometimes look at them and I'm like, people are opposed.
Yeah, like.
Lydia Tar up there.
Wait a minute.
Wait.
But how are you like embodying it?
No, like, yeah.
Wait, but Dara.
People have told you though, like your facial expressions,
like you need to do SNL.
You need to host Saturday Live.
Yes.
Yes.
Wait, like, you know how to like switch it on.
I would love that.
That's so fun.
Like, let's have more fun.
Period.
It's your year this year for that.
Yeah, yeah.
And I think like I want people to also know it's amazing when they love my music, but also there's so much to me.
Yeah.
Wait, tell us more.
That's why I'm running for political office.
Ooh, me in a parallel universe.
Yeah.
We would vote for you.
Right, ministress.
Yes, like, I can see myself going to politics, like when I'm 50.
Actually?
Yes.
Oh, wow.
In Sweden or here?
I think probably in Sweden.
But who knows?
Who knows?
I can see that.
Yeah, and like, let's, let's, like, like a singing mandani.
Can you imagine?
Like someone who is just for the people.
Agree.
And who just does good things.
Yeah.
So then when you're 50, that's in 22 years.
So 22 plus 26, 2048.
Puss Puss Pooce 48?
Pus Pooce 48 is the campaign slogan.
Oh.
Wow.
I would.
I would vote for that.
I came up with a drag name and anyone can use it.
Puss notification.
Oh, that's good.
It's pretty good.
Oh, check my Puss notifications.
It's still on fire.
Wow.
That a little goon?
Wait, oh, my vocal stem is Eli saying,
Hey, Zara, you want to go out of date, get some food?
Get some food?
Get some food.
Oh, I love that.
We love, love, love that.
Journal of a doll.
I know.
She's so amazing.
Wait.
It was like glitter.
Yeah, it's amazing.
She's going to open up for me on my, the Greek show.
Oh, amazing.
Which I'm so excited about.
Oh, you what the Greek is going to be.
Yeah.
We made a merch, and it's me and Eli's face.
And it's like, Zara, where are we?
We're on the T-shirt.
Oh!
We're in the song.
We're in the song.
We're on the T-Rae.
We're on the t-shirt is amazing.
Yeah, I love it.
I'll send you both some.
Okay, fabulous.
Oh, so, hey guys, goon, aka write this down.
At the end, we have to do a social media, which is, where are we?
We're on the podcast.
It's going to get 20 lives.
It's going to get 20 lives.
Those are our numbers.
Okay, it's time to ask Zara the question.
Yes.
Okay.
Zara Larson, what was the culture that made you say culture was for you?
This is something that came into your life.
And you were like, oh, I can start becoming more myself once I get into this.
So something that really shaped me as a teenager, a young, a young, not a woman yet, a girl, was weehearted.
And I bring that up sometimes.
And people don't know what I'm talking about.
And I'm like, this was huge for me.
Like this was, this was like the calm era where people were on Tumblr.
I was on wehearted.
people were looking at like
I think
Tumblr was giving very much like
Relentless
Like you're doing this
This is like
Like just a blow job on your timeline
Did you guys have that?
No
Like you mean literally like you would see like porn on your timeline?
Yes
Yes I did
Speaking of gooning
Speaking of booning
It was something like that
And it was like more like
Kuzh Wisdoms
Do you know what that was?
Was that a Tumblr?
It's like
Yeah, it's like, Friday is my second favorite F word.
Like, it was like quotes.
Yeah.
Or like, we're young, dumb, and free.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
When we hearted would have, like, just girly things.
And then that would be like when you match your outfit with your favorite shoe.
When I'm sleeping over with my best friend.
Yes.
And like when you, yes.
And like when you find the favorite song for the moment, that's like just girly things.
Sometimes it would be like the whole picture would just be like the quote would be like glitter.
Yeah.
I love people that think they get it but they get it wrong like didn't even have to brush my teeth today.
Haven't slept in a week.
But we heart it was also like.
Hair falling out.
But we heart was like Pinterest though.
Pinterest?
Yes.
But yeah, the early version of Pinterest.
It's like a rose.
But it's covered in gold.
And it's pastel.
And like a picture of the Eiffel Tower,
but it's like taken,
imagine like I'm holding up rose-colored glasses.
And I'm taking the picture on the colored glasses
and the Eiffel Tower is like in the background.
Yes, yes, yes.
See, I love that.
And like some latte foam art.
Yes.
It's like fairy lights and the pumpkin spice latte.
Like, it's like a Victoria's Secret bag and an AbuCrumby bag.
Yes.
Yes, yes.
You know?
Like that raced me.
Yes.
And that literally has just happened with the dolphin and I am depressed.
Yes.
That's kind of the same thing.
It's perfect.
Yes.
But like I think the dolphin is is edgier than We Hearted.
Like We Hearted was really.
Yeah.
It was.
More vague than I am depressed.
Yes.
No, you would never be depressed on We Hearted.
You'd be like when it's raining outside and I'm sad.
Maybe.
But depressed, you're going to VAR.
And also, you being sad is kind of like...
Yeah, like staring at the window.
When I'm staring at the window, listening to Twilight.
Yeah, yeah.
Right.
But why are dolphins too edgy for WeHeard?
For just girly things?
It's too colorful.
It's too...
Yeah, no, Weehart is like pastel.
And pink.
Pink, lavender.
Yeah.
Like...
Lilac.
Lylac.
But it is a prehistoric mother to the dolphin, I would say.
Yes, of course.
It, like, developed into that, I think.
It's funny because, like, that idea, though, of the two kind of, like, things that don't interact, but making perfect sense.
Yes.
And it is, like, taking a quote, putting it on a picture.
Those things, that is the dolphin meme.
Yes.
You know?
Yeah, exactly.
It is, like, it birthed it.
And, like, it makes total sense that this is what raised you.
I guess Behardt might be more of a European thing.
Maybe.
Maybe.
But I feel like an...
Because it is Tumblr.
It's Tumblr.
But it also had a very specific...
like niche or look like sort of like that kind of like delicate like prep like not preppy
but like you know what I mean yeah it does feel like like abracrombie flavor yes you know what I mean
yeah and was it true that there was no comment section no comment section no bullying none yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah that's true actually so like no toxic culture yeah yeah yeah there you go yeah I feel that
like that like that all goes into your your world now in a way right where it's just
Just positivity.
Like you would just go there to like feel fuzzy.
And yourself.
You know?
And be, yeah, and be inspired to make my bed and like buy a nice pillow to put, you know?
I know.
Like have a blanket on my bed.
Like that's weedhearted.
It's like what's missing here?
Oh, some fuzz.
Yeah.
Some fuzz.
Like fuzzy socks.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like I'm like, how do I want to elevate my life?
Yes.
It's going to we heart it and have a look.
That really did a lot for me.
Of course, because were you like building, like, were you collecting images to like represent who you were at the time?
Or did you want to?
Maybe who I wanted to be.
I was going to ask.
Or was it who you wanted to be?
It's like aspirational.
But I think it really shaped my, my early Instagram years.
Yeah.
And that's also the time where you would have a frame on Instagram.
And, yeah, no, I was really trying to make it on Wehearted.
Like I wanted to be.
What did it look like?
Just having like.
someone taking my picture from
Instagram and putting it on WeHearted
and it would like live there and
because you would see it's sort of like Pinterest
or Tumblr when you would see something
making numbers. You'd be like oh
that's popping off on WeHearton.
And what they thought about it was their business
but you knew they were engaging with it
yes. So that is something that I think
I miss is it's like I would love
to know that everyone's listening but then
when everyone says what they think or
at least a sampling of people are saying
what they think and it's not necessarily representative.
You just want the numbers.
Yeah.
Because it can be confusing as someone who's trying to cultivate their aesthetic and their image
for other people to come in with their opinions because then even if you aren't entertaining
it at all, it still exists that you could.
I think I did this a lot with, this is like the aesthetic of it and this is the opinions
and the comments because I used to run my blog like the fucking Navy.
And I used to
Go in and post my opinions on things
And I used to fight with people in the comments
And then I used to take a comment that someone wrote
And I used to write a whole other blog post about it
And that was my sort of
Actually, I think I would have lived a beautiful life on Tumblr
But I didn't really know about it
Until later when it wasn't really cool anymore
You know how it like had a dip
Like that?
Definitely
And then I just was very into my blog at that point
And I just felt like if you come
If you want to come and watch me write my opinions
and if you want to have an opinion, come to my blog.
Yes, come to me.
Like, that's a huge difference now.
Pay my bills.
Pay my bills.
Like, I have ads.
I have ads and you can engage with me then.
And thank you.
And thank you.
I'll take this bullshit with a side of money.
Exactly.
Because you would, yeah, come to me is different now
where everything algorithmically gets served to people.
True.

Time for some prep wisdom.
First, some common sense, people.
Everyone's different.
Everyone.
Yes, even you.
Even your situation ship.
Especially your situation ship.
And just like people, injectable prep options,
not all the same.
That's why you need to talk to your doctor
and know what to ask.
So here's some prep wisdom.
Hmm.
Did you know there's more to consider
about long-acting injectable prep options
than how often you get it?
Also, why you want to take it, Matt,
Your lifestyle matters, your routine, your chaos level, your, I might forget my own birthday energy.
All of it counts.
Basically, talk to your doctor, have the conversation, ask the questions, be a little nosy about your own health.
It's loud, encouraged even.
Okay, did you write all that down?
No, don't worry.
Just head to getprepwisdom.com to learn what to ask your doctor.
That's get prepwisdom.com.
You've heard the chaos.
Now you can see it.
Oh, my gosh.

I'm Melissa Jeltsin, host of the What Happened to Her Podcast.
We're kicking off the season with the Sandra Birchmore story, a case the police rode off as a suicide in a snowstorm.
Her family never bought it, and the man they suspected wore a badge.

Lisa, we should tell them about our new show.
Oh my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi Youanu.
We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anywhere fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes,
good taste is my business,
and I've always got something to say.
If men were just honest about this,
there would be so much more peace in the world.
We're going to talk about dating, relationships,
beauty, getting older, and a little wiser.
We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do
to fight the fight,
but there's only so much fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Liar.

Okay, and this, I don't know if this is related, but it's like, I like this be a hearted thing.
And I feel like there's something there because it's like, it's like when YouTube took away to dislike button.
I think that did good things personally.
I think like, I don't know.
The only thing I agree, because you can still sort of tell
when something is positively received or not
because you can sort of compare it to the views versus delights.
Exactly.
And then you know, like, if something is really popular in numbers,
but not that many people liked it.
Like, that's enough.
I don't need to see how many people disliked it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They're engaging.
It's like, also like when you see the shares are crazy
and the likes are really wrong.
Yeah.
What are they saying?
No, exactly.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Ratio and, oh, God, I miss when that was nothing.
Bring back, like...
Bring back positivity.
Positiveity, yeah.
There's actually something that I have been meaning to say to you since you came in here,
and I don't know if you heard that I said this,
but are you aware of the cultural powerhouse Jimmy Buffett?
So Jimmy Buffett is basically a lifestyle cultural icon here in America,
where his whole thing is, like, beers on boats and, like, smoking a blonde
and, like, tailgating, and he has a...
song and a resort called Margaritaville.
Oh, okay.
I like Margaritaville.
100%.
So I think that you could be our answer to Jimmy Buffett.
I think you could have a resort.
Yes.
Really?
Yes, because you, I think your aesthetic is one that I would want to pay for six
days, seven nights vacation.
Like all inclusive.
Literally.
I think that you.
Like in the pool, dolphins.
Chris Goon.
Because I'm telling you there's a billion dollar franchise here.
Jimmy Buffett coded.
Okay.
I'm telling you.
And I want you to kind of.
I want you to listen to the album Songs You Know by Heart, which is his greatest hits album.
Is it covers or is it?
It's original music.
I love that it's called that.
Songs you know by heart.
So basically it's like he had, that's good.
He had a couple big hits.
There was one song called Come Monday, which was a hit.
And Margaritaville is like the big.
It goes, Come Monday, it'll be all right.
Come Monday.
I'll be holding you tired.
I spent for lonely days.
Ooh.
In the Brinalie Hayes
And I just want you back by my side
That's beautiful
It's really good
And he's got
Wasting away again
In Margaritaville
And then cheeseburger in paradise
So it's all
Hesburger in Paradise
No
No we're not
We are not making Jimmy Buffett up
And his aesthetic is vacation
Hammocks, palm trees
Like it's very midnight sun
His fans are called parrot heads
Parrot heads
Okay I need to get into this
You have to.
I'm telling you I like it.
This is a huge moment in culture.
Wow.
Margaritival is in Times Square.
Wait, he, because I have been to Margaritaville.
That's why I was like, oh, I love Margaritaville.
That's him.
I've been to the one in Jamaica, first of all.
Like, I'm international like that.
So they probably do it right.
Oh, he's a legend.
Key West.
Yes.
Orlando.
Oh.
Now Times Square.
There was one in Tahoe.
That's amazing.
Yeah.
He's got a damn brand.
Yes.
I think if you were to like, if you were to open up a restaurant called like Euro Summer or whatever, like it would be huge.
Okay, thank you so much.
No, I'm telling you.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
But I literally was like, because I do believe that you, what's the coolest thing about you, which is actually relates to a lot of ways the culture that made us say culture was for us is we always love like immersive worlds.
And I feel like there is something very immersive about everything.
about what you're giving and even the way you're talking about you know we heart it
yeah such as creating a little world that you can go live in yes I find that a lot of
people when they answer this question they end up saying something very real about
the artist they are right now right and there's something about that world creation
community that you build which is about positivity and light and fun yeah and like
feeling like yeah yeah community in a way yes yeah yeah okay love that
Eiffel Tower.
What is it?
Eiffel Tower, glass glass.
Roast glass.
Yeah, Eiffel Tower in the back.
Roast glasses in the forefront.
Picture through.
Like, that's romantic.
And I agree.
And I think you could walk into that into your restaurant.
Oh, love.
Yeah.
Maybe you can have different photo ops.
Yeah.
Like before you.
Okay.
Absolutely.
And then, yeah, maybe like, go cruise ship.
Yeah.
Oh, just one applaud.
Chris Goon.
I do think...
Oh, he's typing.
I do...
And I literally don't think I'm not looking over there
and I've seen him typing the whole time.
At least a pop-up.
Yeah.
Because I do think the idea of it is too good.
Okay.
Yeah.
You can like really make cruises.
Can I ask you something?
Sorry to interrupt.
No, please.
Is the...
Was the song before the place or was the restaurant before the song?
So the fandom that was popped off because of...
of him created the opportunity to make this type of resort.
So he had such an intense, he actually passed away a few years ago.
And it was like, I had to call my dad.
My dad was pouring one out at the beach.
Literally, it's a culture.
He said, I'm pouring one out for Jimmy.
Wow.
And I feel like this was, it was really a movement, not a moment.
It was decades of intense fandom that became, it was really a state of mind.
It really is.
Yeah.
Like anything is possible.
A hundred percent.
Anything is possible.
Especially when you drink all the margaritas.
But you're asking was Margaritaville?
Margaritaville was a song first.
Yeah, like, what came first?
It was a song first.
Okay.
So basically, like, it would be as if...
And then he was like, actually, that could be a real place.
100%.
I love that.
100%.
So if you have any ideas for songs that are places, just know it could be real.
Okay.
Yeah.
Oh, think about that.
It's like Dollywood.
You know what I mean?
Like Dali Parton made her theme park and her image.
You know?
I think if you do.
do if you did the cruise, like the
Euro summer cruise, I think you really make...
Theme park is fun. Yeah.
But you could like really make cruises
for Gen Z a thing.
Gen Z isn't going on cruises.
Then you do
theme park, then it's
Pous Pooose 48. Okay, there we have it.
That's the plan. Yeah.
There's enough there to start.
Yeah. I would say so.
Now we just have to pick a place. Would it be in Sweden,
I think? Yeah, like
flagship. Sweden, probably.
But also very non-cholns.
tropical place. And I did say Orlando, ooh, because I love Orlando.
Yeah, we love Orlando too. You do? Yeah. I fucking love Orlando.
Tell us your favorite things about it. Honestly,
the nature.
Wait a minute because we went on the safari at Disney World Animal Kingdom and we saw the most
amazing animals. You have never seen, you've never seen giraff so close. Or maybe you have.
I have. I have. I have. I have. I have.
I've seen them in the wild.
She's like, honey.
I've seen them.
Wait, the nature, like, do you like the humidity?
I love the humidity.
I love the, what's it called?
The Everglades.
Yeah.
I love the big leaves.
I love the trees.
I love the, I even love the insects.
Yeah.
I love to feel like there's something that happens in my soul
whenever I reach Florida.
Yes.
That it's just like, I come alive.
Same.
No, it's so weird.
Whenever I reach Florida,
but I come alive.
It's true.
I agree with you.
You're not one of those girls who hates bugs.
No, I'm not really bothered.
The only thing I'm like, please go away is to mosquitoes.
Oh, of course.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And they're only out for, they have bad intentions.
They do, they do.
And they're all girls.
Yeah.
You know that?
What?
I thought the bees were, no, wait, no, they're all girls.
I thought that was Jurassic Park.
Wait, tell us.
No, the only ones that suck are the girls.
The only ones that suck.
Yeah.
The way you would think.
The only ones that suck on the girl.
It's true.
The guys just like go to the flowers.
Yeah.
The guys go to the flowers.
Because they have one thing on their mind, like all other men.
Puss Puss.
Puss notification.
Yes.
I think Zara, this is why I think people are really also like getting into you is because like I think in interviews,
your speaking voice is really addictive.
Really?
The way you said it's the girls that suck.
Like you really push.
you push it on the right vowels and consonants.
Okay.
It's just something that happens naturally.
Yeah.
It's a recording artist thing, I bet.
Honestly.
Yeah, maybe.
Yeah.
But that's funny you say that.
I really appreciate that because I think doing interviews and like talking on stage,
I've always been very aware of my talking voice,
which I don't think is as fun or like, yeah,
I don't love my talking voice.
I think it's because, you know, when you talk yourself.
Yeah.
You feel the bass more in your body.
And then when I hear it, I'm like, where that bass go?
Bring that bass go.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I can't hear my snare.
Where's the depth?
Where's my snake?
Turn it up.
Yeah, it's a lot of trouble.
It's a lot of trouble.
I never thought of it like that, but do you think it's just because you're creating the sound, you can literally.
It's like a resonance.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
In my body.
But thank you.
This is why you need a repeat.
Yeah.
Where is my base?
But I think actually he would probably say like you should speak like this.
Right.
Always.
I know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
I'm so happy to be here.
What if we switched it up right now and just start talking about like this?
See, honestly, you're ready for all things go.
You're ready.
You mentioned Mom Dani earlier and he did.
So we're recording this before All Things Go is scheduled to happen.
He did warn of the North Easter.
And we told you what that was, which was a big storm.
I had no idea.
You are galvanized by that.
You want to perform in the storm.
Yeah.
And I think, like I told you guys before we started recording,
weirdly enough, it has been some really rainy days,
but on almost all the shows, the clouds clear.
And that makes me believe in magic.
Yeah.
That makes me believe in like the witchcraft.
The witchcraft of coming together with a large group of people
and like sending out the energy to the universe of like,
we want sun, we want sun, we want sun.
And then the clouds are like, fine.
Yeah.
And then they part.
Hey, everybody.
This is Matt.
And I just wanted to update everyone that despite the witchcraft and the chanting,
all things go was canceled.
Very disappointing.
Mom Dani was right.
What can I say?
He's good.
Anyway, back to Zara.
So for all the artists out there who are performing in the rain,
you are not putting out the right energy.
There's no community at your show.
Simply change your energy.
and get some community for Christ's sake.
We heart at energy.
Exactly.
Wait, do you need to go to the bathroom?
When the cloud parts.
Yeah.
Yes.
Yeah, I do actually.
Thank you for telling me.
And I also have to call my sister because she's, well, I'm buying an apartment for her today.
So I'm going to sign the papers.
Oh my God.
Oh.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm landlording her.
You're landlording her?
Okay.
Good big six.
Oh my God.
I'll be right back.
Okay.
Come right back.
She's just got to make a quick trip.
She's making a quick trip.
bathroom break. So we will just keep doing
the episode for right now.
Well, I'm having a blast. Oh my God.
I'm addicted to her. I told you that
and I really needed this because I was having a bad morning.
I'm sorry. Last night
so we're going to keep going you guys by the way.
I was telling Bowen this. Last night
Melissa and I were having
dinner on the street outside
or are we having lunch because we're about to go see
Justin Time the Broadway musical
because Arianna Maddox is coming on the show in a few weeks
and
and a man
came up to me and Melissa
and threw a bottle of Gatorade on us
Lemon Lime
and then we had
Oh lemon lime is kind of the worst flavor
And then we got to the point where it was like
What flavor would we rather be covered in?
Blue ice or whatever
Blue Ice
Blue Blizzard whatever it is
Because I would say lemon lime
Is the most annoying flavor
Do they still do
fruit punch?
Yeah.
They do.
Okay.
Someone was gooning for...
Dano was gooting for...
Yeah, Daniel was gooting for fruit punch.
Okay.
I have a bad memory.
Well, first of all, I'm so sorry that happened.
It's okay.
It honestly, it was really, really jarring to the point where I was like...
Because it was like, he then just walked away after he did it.
And I was just like, oh, okay, I guess that's how that goes.
You know, you kind of...
There's nothing to be done about this situation.
Someone just did something completely insane that hurt us.
but the good news is
Justin Time was wonderful.
We just smelled like Lemon Lime.
You just smelled like Lemon Lime.
Oh, thank God he didn't smell like Fruit Punch.
That's the only thing that would have been worse.
So then this happened.
And I'm just going to be candid about this.
So we're covered in lemon lime,
mostly Melissa, which I felt really bummed about.
And she was a little shaken up about it.
So we go into Justin Time.
We say, it's okay.
We're just going to sit down and whatever.
We sit down and of course,
the house manager comes over and goes,
Do you want to be dancing with?
Hey!
And I'm like,
is Jeremy Jordan going to come over and twirl me?
And they go, how did you know?
I was like, it just seems like what would happen on the day where I'm covered in lemon lime.
Right.
And also, so me and Melissa switched so that I could be in the chair.
And that's when I realized, and this is where I'm going to be really vulnerable.
You ever go to the urinal and pee?
And then all of a sudden you pull back and you see you got a little bit on your jeans.
Oh, it happens all the time.
But urine dries fast.
urine dries pretty fast.
But it does.
And I want to just give a.
face to this phenomenon. It happened to me. And then they were like, Jeremy's coming over
during the first number to spin you. You had piss and lemon lime all over you. Oh, no. Over that
hotly Jeremy, when that hotty Jeremy comes over. He comes over and he's so, he's so gorgeous
and so talented. And he's like, when the shock bites dance with me. And I'm like, I and I do, and he
doesn't know I have piss on me. You didn't, and he shows them piss yellows. Yes. Have you seen Justin
I've not seen Justin Time.
Oh, it's good.
I love that setup.
I want to be in one of those tables.
The, what the, like, theater in the, what's it called?
Circle in the Square.
Circle in the Square.
Best theater, I think.
I love it.
I love it there.
So I'm covered in Piss and Lemon Lime.
Melissa's upset.
Jeremy Slaying.
Ariana was great.
Of course.
Carrie St. Louis is in it, Sandra D.
I love Carrie St. Louis.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
But see, that's, that's balance for you.
That is the, that is antithesis.
It is both, it is lemon lime Gatorade.
piss and also, you know, talent at Circle in the Square.
You know, all of it was great.
And I also just want to shout out to Michael, our waiter at Pecora Bianca, who stood in
front of us and essentially was our security from the person coming around to, I guess,
drive-by-gatorade us.
He really took it in the back and butt.
Michael.
He took it in the back and butt, Michael.
That's all you want.
And he said, I am so sorry this happened.
I said, wow.
It's the first ever
Costume change in
Lost Culture History
Everybody clapped in the spaghetti
strap
Way in the choker
You didn't buy a house at all
You just wanted to go change
I did both
You did both
Wait a minute
Tell us about
Oh my God
So this is a history in the making
And that's why you get a set
Okay
Because then things like this happen
We are gooning
We're gooning for you
Oh my God, thank you.
That's the best.
For me, it's like not just the fact that you're gooning.
It's that it's always a little bit like surprise.
Like, oh.
It's like, I didn't think I'd be gooning now.
I thought that was a 15 minutes.
I penciled it in.
Oh my God, you look amazing.
Thank you.
I love the choker.
I thought that was like the theme.
You know, it's a story to this.
It's a story.
Yes.
First the silver choker, now this.
I love a statement piece.
You know.
Neckless.
Yes.
We need to bring back grandeur in terms of neckwear.
I agree.
Yeah.
You could be the one.
You could be the one.
I'll do my best.
Yeah.
We're just giving you, you know, idea starters, thought starters.
Like in general?
In general.
Oh, you guys.
With the cruise.
No, for real.
I'm so thankful to be here.
Like, we have a lot to get into after this.
Absolutely.
And honestly, we, I see it being huge.
I'm so serious.
Like, we have to figure out a name for it, though.
Oh, you're in.
You're in on it.
No, we don't have to.
We don't have to.
No, no, I think we should.
He just likes to say no to money.
One thing about my sister
just be saying no to money.
Look.
This is a billion dollars.
Euro summer or, I don't know, midnight.
But you know what?
It's also things that are coming in the future.
Like I'm going to be working on the next album.
So it's nice to have that in my thought
to bring to, you know, Eminique and Helena and Margo
that I work with.
And I'm like, guys, we have to make a song that could be branded into a multi-billion dollar.
Resort.
Resort.
Resort.
Yeah.
Whatever.
Whatever else.
I'm happy that you're open to the idea.
I thought you would be.
And so I was confident pitching it to you.
But I've been on this now for like six weeks.
I really have.
I've been like, I know it's going to happen.
That's amazing.
It's going to happen.
But you just referenced the next album.
But we wanted to ask, like.
I think this
era is also
indelible
and strong enough that it could just be
like, it could just be
ongoing if you wanted it to be.
Totally. I know what my next era is going to be.
Yeah. And it's definitely not a 180.
You know, next time I won't be showing up here
in full leather.
It will be like
fun and joyful
and happiness and colors.
but like elevated and refined.
You know what I mean?
I have a name for it.
I know what I want.
But I do think where are we at right now?
I'm not done with the Midnight Sun era.
Blue Moon music video coming out.
I heard we're going to see it.
Yes.
It's not finished right now, mind you.
It's sort of like Midnight Sun where there's a lot of things that needs to be done in the editing of things and like VFX and stuff like that.
And it's sort of like a fantasy.
It's like Midnight Sun.
but nighttime with a bigger budget.
And it's super, it's super amazing.
And I feel like Blue Moon just deserves so much love and attention
and energy given to it.
And I feel like no one would really do it but me.
Because it's not organically like popping off right now.
Like I have to look at that and say,
I believe in this song.
I want to make a video for it.
Like I want to go out and promote it.
My label aren't going to be like, look at the numbers.
Like we really need to push this.
Yeah, this is the one.
Yeah, like, I just believe it in.
I believe it can be the one.
And there's other songs from the album that I also believe in that are so amazing.
Yeah.
And deserves because Midnight Sun is like one of my favorite songs that I've ever done.
And I think I'm so...
Kind of a classic at this point.
I'm so happy that it's really connecting with people.
But there's so many other songs on Midnight Sun the album that people hasn't, like, tapped into the way they should.
Like they have with Midnight Sun.
Right.
So...
I'm going to name a few and just let me know.
Hot and sexy.
Hot and sexy.
I mean,
no, like,
I feel like they're sleeping
on every single song
except for Mid Night Sun.
So that's why I'm like,
let's get back into the album.
Let's get back into the album.
You like Midnight's Son,
let's check out the rest.
Yeah.
You know?
Hot and sexy, one of my favorites,
Euro Summer.
I love.
I love Euro Summer.
Saturn's Return.
It's like.
Sadden's Return.
I love Saturn's Return.
Puss, pus.
Puss.
Also, I know,
I know this one did pop off,
but like,
I was so,
when I first heard pretty ugly,
that's when I was like, oh, this is a way I haven't even heard you use your voice before.
Like that was like, and that's to me like the-
That pops off live.
The velocity in that song is so crazy.
I'm sure it does pop off live.
It does.
It makes people really excited.
It's such an anthem.
It's so shouty and loud and unapologetic and just in your face.
If we heart it gave it gave everyone permission to like pop the fuck off.
Yeah.
Like we are cute girls, but you've never seen a pretty girl.
Yeah.
Stop hearting it.
Exactly.
Because I feel like
I think the Midnight Sun video is very we hearted.
It's like like the words popping up like believe.
You know like all these things.
Totally.
Very.
And hot and sexy is a cousin to pretty ugly because I feel like
this song just bicex and breaks off into this totally different thing.
But the whole song in itself is about girlhood
about how like I can be hot and sexy and empowered.
But why the fuck do men keep fucking shit up for us?
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, totally.
It's so annoying.
But like I.
But like I was in a car in L.A.
Like the moment the album dropped,
I was in a car in L.A.
I was listening to it.
It was like midnight.
And then I play hot and sexy.
It was like, no fucking way.
I texted this one because we quote that New York thing all the time.
We have a,
we have a coffee mug that says the whole.
Oh, there's what.
Monologue.
The whole monologue.
She's one of our best.
Yeah.
Wait, did she come to a concert?
Yes.
Oh.
Yeah.
And she like, did she recite it?
Or no.
No.
You just played the whole thing.
You played the whole thing before.
Yeah, I used to play it like before every show.
They used to be like the segment that would lead me in, that led me into the song.
Everyone all book in the crowd.
Yeah.
Pretty much that was Gemma, no.
Exactly.
Incredible.
No, I love it.
I love it.
So then I think that this Blue Moon video, because you're putting the intention behind it, like, I think it could be a really special moment.
hope so. Can we watch it?
Yeah, of course. Come on, Chris. Come on, Chris. Come on, Chris. And mind you again, this is like
Ruffianna. I already love it. Oh my God. Oh my God. I love it already. Yeah. Okay. Okay. We're
not, we're not going to comment on it. I mean, we'll just react. Yeah, there's so much
that needs to be done. That's why I'm excited for you to see this now. Okay. And then see like
the final result when it comes out. Yeah. But it's cute. It's cute. All right. Here we go.
Okay. Okay. Fabulous. I was excited.
Beautiful underneath the stars.
We can sing it because of the song.
Yeah, yeah, you can sing.
Oh my God.
This is giving Florida.
That was literally the inspiration.
Yes.
It's fun to guess.
I love that.
Onora.
How?
Just in this.
In this.
Oh, my God.
Oh, the heart.
The heart.
I mean.
That's exactly.
Yes.
That's so good.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
It's an iconic hair video.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Oh my God!
It's giving like Kylie Minogue in Mulan Rouge.
Oh.
One of the greatest animals you could ever have in a video is in this.
There's an amazing animal.
Yes!
Oh, I love that bottom.
There's different hair moments.
Oh my god.
Yes
Wait
Mm-hmm
Mm-hmm
Wow
Yes
Wow
It's so great
It's gonna be amazing
It's really
I'm so excited
I know we can't say much
But is it just kind of more
Effects like similar to the ones
That are built through
And like
The one where I'm like
Doing a cartwheel and stuff
Like that is
Like where I'm sitting
watching, like, everything is just going to get, like...
It's in the bright perspective.
You know, and then it's like, oh, you enter that world.
And then you, like, enter that.
And, yes, like the glitter and everything that's, like, cut out.
Like, it's just going to be seamless and beautiful.
And sort of like, yeah, like, midnight sun where it's like,
there's a text coming up.
But there's, like, it's, I'm going to have...
You...
Gooning.
Gooning on the mic.
Gooning on the mic.
Hey.
One, two, three.
It was
I can't wait for you to like watch
I can't say too much
because then I feel like I'm spoiling it
But essentially it's what it is
And it's just gonna be that
But amazing and better
I love that it's just you
Yeah I wanted to do that
And I feel like
I didn't need
Especially on this era
Because it really
Do you understand
When I say it's sort of like
Midnight Sun
But like her sister
And it's just me
And it's sort of what
that that world was to me.
And it's very Florida.
Yeah, it is.
It's extremely Florida.
Where did you shoot that?
LA.
In L.A.
In L.A.
As we all know.
Hollywood was Hollywooding because it really did.
It was, I was thinking,
I was like, is this Tallahassee?
No, I really felt like a star because I pulled up to set and I was like,
wow, this is really a set.
Like they have really made this.
There's all these different.
scenes that we're doing and it's all the lights that were there and all the extra things and it was I really felt like shit this is expensive yeah we'll speak on that for a second it's like what's been the change that you've noticed in the past like couple of years with that just showing up and being treated like you're on another level like what's your experience with that if that's the experience I don't think I don't think so I don't think there's a big difference at least not to me internally yeah but what we're
One of the things that I feel like have changed for the past year
is that I've just decided to sort of invest in myself
and my videos and my live shows
because even the Midnight Sun Tour,
it's like four different shows that we've done.
We did the US theater shows
and they were much smaller and basically no production.
And then we have done the European arenas,
which were like more production
and it had like an overhead thing going on
and a huge like installation.
of the sun. Then we've done the festival set, which is a completely different set in 2D.
And then we've done like, and all these things have just let me to really just invest in
the best show that I can give people for whatever setting it is.
Yeah.
And I think that have given me so many more fans or so many people that also sort of trust.
I hope when people see this, this music video, it's going to make them feel like we're in the
world, but we have evolved a bit, and I, and I can trust her in that evolution. And like,
whatever comes next, like, I, I want to build that trust with the listeners and the people who are
watching it to know, like, you're in good hands and come with me on this journey, and I will show
you great things, and we can create great things. Because I really just want to be more creative.
And my dream is to have a full-on arena tour where I can really have an amazing production. And
and go wherever I'm at and have the same, like, the stage and just everything that I've dreamed of to really entertain and, like, do that as well as I can possibly do.
I just can't wait for that.
You probably think dressing well takes lots of money or lots of time spent digging through thrift stores.
Well, not to be rude, but you're wrong.
So dead wrong.
And honestly, we're happy for you because now we get to tell you about deal.
You can find the fashion you love for less on Deepop.
And it doesn't matter what you're into.
Leopard print, they've got it.
Not into leopard print?
First of all, why?
But fine.
They've got that too.
Not leopard print.
Basically, whatever your particular fashion situation is,
Deepop has entered the chat.
We're talking over 600,000 daily listings,
including celebrity and stylish shop drops.
That's a lot of listings.
And somehow, it gets better.
You can sell the stuff you no longer wear and make money.
then use that money to buy things you do want to wear.
It's a circle, like the circle of life, but for fashion.
And since fashion is life for a lot of people, same-sies.
Deepop, fashion.
If it made sense.
Make money on Deepop with no selling fees and find what you want for less.
Deepop, love you.

I'm not going to get anyone fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business.
And I've always got something to say.
If men were just honest about this, there would be so much more peace in the world.
We're going to talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser.
We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Liar.

Ooh, I scammed them.
What?
I could talk to you for an hour.
You're a generational yapper like me.
That's why I had to make yapping a job.
And the scams run the gamut.
I'm talking about scams from the 1800s
all the way up to today.
I also warn you and keep you safe against scammers.
Call your grandparents.
Tell your parents to stop clicking on links, please.
And now you can catch full episodes of my show on YouTube.
If there's a scam, I'm here to protect you.
And I'm also here to last.
with you. So if you like fun, if you like comedy and you like learning and protecting yourself from
criminals, start listening to scam goddess on the IHeart radio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you get your
podcast. All of these concert setups you're describing where it's like 2D festival or like arena show or
smaller theaters in America. Like I'm just going to go back to like the Swedish radio symphony thing.
Yeah. Okay. So I was literally like stoned in bed watching it in like 2000, 2021 or so really.
like around right when it came out.
And I was like, oh my God, like Zara.
Like, I think you've already built that trust.
Because then those were the things.
Obviously, like, Lush Life in the first album, like,
I was like, oh my God, this girl's popping up.
Which is so funny because in that interview where you were like,
where the interview goes, that first flop, how did it feel?
We want to shout out Morgan Norwood at ABC News.
That first flop.
Yeah.
Like, it's so interesting.
It's so good.
Your songs had billions of streams.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, totally.
Yet there's still this dissonance where you were, you know.
But I feel like it was the reality for me.
I feel like people knew my songs.
Yes.
And they knew, you know, but they didn't know who I was.
Right.
Well, yeah.
Some people did.
Yes.
But the general, you know, the GP, the general public of it all was sort of not tapped into, to me as a person or knew more about the artist who was singing symphony or who was singing, never forget you or Lush Life and ruin my life.
And I think that has always.
sort of been the goal to
to make people see
me as an artist.
And now with this album, I definitely
succeeded because it's always,
I feel like the talent's been there,
but it's something with the creative,
like direction, or I think
a big part of it was also the fact that
I got into this industry being so, so young,
almost too young now in hindsight,
because I was paired with these amazing
creative people who were choreographers
or directors,
or writers and at 14 you sort of like whatever like you're the professionals you know
it's that um authoritarian like even if no one made me feel small it's just a natural thing that happens
dynamically like in a room so i think it was hard for me to to be creative and sort of plant my
creative seed myself and not have anyone else sort of do that for me when I was that young
and then it just went into this machine of okay well and I got really successful and I'm thankful for
the people I work with they really let me um they encouraged me to speak my mind it was just hard to
to really know what it was that I wanted and even though I said like I love this song I don't want
to do this song I love this song I feel like it has to that has to come from me like it has to
start with me and not from somewhere outside.
And now when I'm 28, I'm like, wait a damn minute.
Yeah.
I do know what I want.
And I think the people that I work with now has helped me realize that I need those
people around me to feel comfortable and like my friends.
Now I feel like I work with my friends before it was like working with my parents in a way.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, you felt like you were not.
the, like you were always the artist.
Yeah, but I was never the, I was never the conductor.
You were not conducting the symphony.
No, exactly.
Like, I was a big part of the symphony.
Maybe I had a lot of solos.
Yeah, yeah.
But I didn't feel like, you know, I didn't feel like I was running the division.
Yeah, like steering the car.
Well, how can you know yourself fully enough to do that at that?
No, you can't.
That's what I'm saying.
So that's kind of what it is, right?
It's like, it also reminds me of like, you know, like one of your contemporaries is obviously Sabrina Carpenter who had many albums out and tried many different things.
And then it felt like there was a moment where you guys finally like were like, no, I know who I am enough to the point where everything can be exactly perfect.
But there needs to be the serrated edge, the extra thing that makes it Zara.
And there are so many tangible things now about people getting to know you because you are able to.
to offer those things because you know exactly who that person is.
And I feel like that comes with age.
Like a big part of that is just growing up.
Yeah.
And finding your confidence and like sort of knowing more.
And also not really caring so much about others' opinions.
Yeah.
With love and respect.
It's like you might think that, but I think this.
And because I'm the artist, this is what goes.
Yes.
What you're saying about like working with your friends rather than working with your parents is like so huge because Matt said this thing.
Matt gave this like graduation speech at, um, Tish this past summer where he was like, my, my advice is don't look up.
Don't have like the heroes be the models.
Look around you.
The people around you.
Yes, I love that.
Are going to be the people who come up with you.
You know what I mean?
Yes.
You'll always be disappointed if you look up at people you like most of the time, I think.
There'll be something about like people that are already really established that will let you down a little bit.
But if you look at your peers, I think like you'll always be inspired.
Totally. I love that. It's so true. It really is. I feel more inspired now than ever. And I literally work with my best friends. And we're all, you know, same age, same references, same sort of upbringing. Maybe they didn't see We Heart it, but like it doesn't matter. There's other things that that ties together where we just, I feel like they're my peers, you know? And they're so, so, so, so.
smart and fun and it just feels like I can really just be myself yeah and that's the best way to
to be like no one can really do me better yeah and then you find and one of one of the things I think
is the coolest about you is how not only how many collaborations you like are joyfully a part
of but how different they all are and you find such a common language with like pink pantherists
on state side like that's such a moment in in like pop culture this
in this era and I just wanted to ask like what is that relationship like with you and pink pantheros?
For me it was just that was literally it started purely as me being a fan.
I actually reached out to her in her DMs and I was just like queen.
Yeah.
That's it.
Let's goon together.
Yes.
Queen.
Maybe a crown.
Yeah, queen.
Something like that.
And she was like, you queen.
And then she sent back the track to state side
Basically
And I was like, I think you're so amazing
And she was like, oh actually funny
I'm working on this remix album
For Fancy That, would you like to be on a song?
And I was like, yes please
And then she sent it over
I recorded it.
I was on tour with Tate McCray
Opening for her last year
And then we recorded it in Denver
And then it was basically out the next week
So it was almost like
I don't think she would have even
really thought
about me who knows but I don't think she would have really like oh and by the way I had the
song yeah if I didn't DM her you're like queen you know so sometimes you just have to reach out
with some love for people and and look what that got me like an amazing amazing song so that really did
start as um just me wanting to express some love yeah I was feeling generous and loving and I
DM the bunch of pop girls and I was just like you're amazing like keep slaying like I love you
Oh my God.
Yeah.
You're part of a great community of pop girls right now.
It really is our time.
Yes.
We are thriving.
Yeah.
It's so fun to be a part of.
It really is.
I see like all the girls and I'm just like, wow, this is really the roaring 20s for pop.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I love it.
Yeah.
It wasn't like.
It really wasn't.
It really wasn't.
It really wasn't.
It really wasn't.
It's not.
Yeah.
I don't feel like pop has this huge moment now.
Or maybe, maybe.
.
maybe I don't know for me it always does because that's just where I live but I think in in culture
in general right now it's so celebrated yeah and it's seen as this thing that is worth celebrating
and something that is cool yeah and not like oh you listen to pop you know it's like it's cool
like pop's cool would you ever like obviously being from Sweden we had Kelly Clarkson in here last
week and like she what I'm just thinking about like almost everyone that we love like and and
and their relationship with Max Martin,
would you do like a full album?
I feel like we need like a full record.
I don't think so.
Yeah.
With so much love and respect.
Because it's like you said.
Yeah.
That is someone to look up to for me.
Oh, I hear you.
I want to do an album with like Addison,
with Luke and Elvarez.
Good for you.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
Like where the girls are,
where the new hungry.
Like obviously he's the best songwriter in the world.
And he just keeps getting number ones.
But I don't know if
that way of working is for me.
That's why I'm so thankful that I found,
I feel like I have found my team with Emineke and Margo and Uzo.
Sorry, with Margo and Hiliana and Uzo,
Uso, oh my God, Ozo's, Emaneke's real name is Uzo.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Emaneke, Margo, and Hiliana.
Those are like my, that's my team.
Yeah.
And they're the ones I wanna develop this with,
so then people in 20 years can be like,
Oh, like, would you like to work with these people?
And then they can say, no, I want to work with my people.
Whoa.
I just want to say, she's already creating a resort.
It's literally a spiritual resort you're already creating, and I knew this was in you.
Yes.
I'm excited.
But that's how I feel.
Yeah, totally.
And I feel really, like, that's where the magic comes from, not to try to look for it in Max Martin.
Because I think we can make an amazing song.
Yeah.
Or album.
but I think for me to also feel,
because I know he will affect me in a way
which would make me be a little bit smaller.
It would be like there's a comment section.
Because I respect him so much.
Yes, yeah, it is.
And I know he have these huge songs
and have so much knowledge
that I would feel like whatever he says goes.
I don't think I would feel like...
You've already done that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's my take.
Totally.
I love that.
Because we even had Robin in here at the beginning of the year and she was talking about her relationship with Max.
And also like she's kind of kept it pretty balanced where like obviously she has so many songs with him.
But then like her artist.
But they also sort of came up together in a way like when she first started out.
Exactly.
Yeah.
And then they like they like kind of like diverged past and then came back together again throughout the years.
But I think her artistry, what she considers her art is like the things that she would do with like.
She has a collaborator, Kloss.
Yeah, Klaus.
Yeah.
Yeah.
A lot.
They're like, you know, that's her partner in collaboration, I think.
Her recent show, I just went at Barclays.
She's just unbelievable.
Yeah, she is.
She's just amazing.
And like when dancing on my own happens, it's like, there's like a fifth.
It's truly mother.
And there's like a 10 minute, 15 minute applause afterwards where she just takes in the moment to really say like, I know this is a generational song.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
And she also like, it's like a moment of.
everyone's just screaming because we're all thanking her and she's thinking us and it's just like this
beautiful moment but that is mother that is mother yeah especially for me like she's just always been
there like in my pop life yeah yeah um with her cunty short hair yeah i love that yeah you have to be on
SNL.
You're so,
like the movements,
like the boy,
the cunty shirt.
The women,
it's the girls who suck.
Sarah,
I can listen to you talk all day.
We're about to listen
to a whole bunch of talking
because it's time
for I don't think so, honey.
This is the moment where people get
a little nervous, but don't.
Because it's cathartic.
It's not negative, okay?
It's where we take 60 seconds
to just take something down.
I'm excited to see what
you guys are going to say.
So while you were gone,
I told the story about how yesterday
me and my friend were having lunch on the street
and a man came up and threw a bottle of gatorade on us.
No.
Wasn't great.
And so now I have something.
Why did he do that?
I think he may have been crazy.
Right.
Yeah.
It was kind of under New York streets.
Right.
Was it open or closed?
It was open and he did not throw the bottle itself.
He threw,
he chopped all the liquid on it.
And then we had to go see a Broadway show.
In the game.
Gatorade.
In the Gatorade.
Was it a Gatorade specifically?
That almost feels like a hate crime.
So, I mean, because it was me, I couldn't say it was.
With the Gatorade.
Actually, now I have even more juice from, I don't think so many.
This is Matt Rodgers.
I don't think so many, time starts now.
I don't think so, honey, Gatorade.
Now, obviously, I don't think so, honey, the man who threw the gatorade on us.
But then I'm drenched in the Gatorade, and I'm smelling it.
I don't think so, honey.
Maybe it was the flavor.
It was lemon lime Gatorade, which is not the one I would pick.
We were talking about how.
Kind of fresh.
Like my sister said, the best, I do think so, honey, is blue gatorade, blue ice gatorade.
Maybe if I had been covered in that during the Justin Time musical on Broadway, I would have been more refreshed and excited.
But the lemon lime gatorade, I don't know.
I think we're dealing with a basic girl.
And I say that with love for my basic girls.
I am one of you.
I'm pumpkin spice Disney World.
But the thing is, when it comes to lemon line gatorade, you always have to think of the fact, could I be potentially covered in this?
And once you take the cap off.
that bottle becomes a weapon.
And so if I'm going to be around a weapon
and it's a lemon lime weapon
and I know that I have the opportunity
to be covered in this,
I'm going to wish it was blue ice.
So I don't think so honey Gatorade
eliminate lemon lime,
then we'll talk, I'm wet.
And that's one minute.
It's giving vape juice too.
Sort of.
Yeah.
I've never actually heard lemon lime.
Was that what it was?
Lemon lime?
Lemon lime is kind of, I would say.
Never seen.
One of the more.
What's the color?
Yellow.
Yellow.
Not good.
This record is on.

I'm Melissa Jeltson, host of the What Happened to Her podcast.
We're kicking off the season with the Sandra Birchmore story, a case the police rode off
as a suicide in a snowstorm.
Her family never bought it, and the man they suspected wore a badge.
You never know who that devil is because he's wearing in disguise.
Sometimes it's a police uniform.

Lisa, we should tell them about our new show.
Oh my God, Lexi, we have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi Youanu.
We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa DiGulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references.
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight,
but there's only so much fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Liar.
Listen on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
I don't really care.
I'm Lacey Mosley, author, actor, stand-up comedian, creator,
and host of Scam Goddess Podcast.
The True Crime Comedy Podcasts, all about.
robbery, fraud, and those who practice it.
Each week I bring on incredible guests like Conan O'Brien, Iowa Deppery,
Lamorne Morris, and Nicole Byer.
Ooh, I scammed them.
What?
I can talk to you for an hour.
You're a generational yapper like me.
That's why I had to make yapping a job.
And the scams run the gamut.
I'm talking about scams from the 1800s all the way up to today.
I also warn you and keep you safe against scammers.
Call your grandparents.
Tell your parents to stop clicking all.
On links, please.
And now you can catch full episodes of my show on YouTube.
If there's a scam, I'm here to protect you.
And I'm also here to laugh with you.
So if you like fun, if you like comedy, and you like learning and protecting yourself
from criminals, start listening to scam goddess on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever
you get your podcast.
I've got one.
And it actually, it has to do with something that artist did too.
But not, this is not coming after.
This is just the concept.
Okay.
Okay. This is Vaugh and Yang's Island.
I don't think so, honey.
Time starts now.
I don't think so honey, contracts.
What do you mean?
I sign a line and it's legally binding.
That's fucking crazy.
I didn't read it.
Like, also, the replacement now is like docu sign.
Like, oh, I tap, tap, tap, and then like that's legally binding.
Oh, you mean contracts, the thing that Ursula did and the Little Mermaid?
She was horrible.
The thing that the devil does to people down on their luck.
That's fucking crazy.
Also, if I am going to make, if contracts are going to be legally binding, where's this ceremony?
Bring back, I want to be surrounded by my family, by my lawyers.
I want a butler to whisper in my ear.
Are you quite sure, Mr. Yang?
I want it to be, I want there to be some cutthiness to it.
It's just so boring.
Now, I'm on the train, tap, tap, tapping, signing my life away on a brand deal.
Then I find out the company's crazy.
Five seconds.
I don't want to keep doing this no more.
I print out the contracts and surround me with my family.
I want a mahogany desk.
And that's one minute.
Here's what I think in the docuSign.
I do agree with you.
DocuSign is legally binding, but if I decide later, it's not.
It's not.
And that's really hard to number 30.
That is a crazy thing.
But if I decide later, it's not.
It's not.
Love that.
But so you decide this lease for your sister.
You know what I mean?
And they were like, can you scan?
Can you scan the paper?
And it just means like, oh, I'm going to take a picture of the paper.
where I signed and then I'm a texted to you and they're like the apartment is yours.
That's crazy.
What is that even?
What is that even me?
Completely insane.
You know?
And also you lose me at the word scan every time.
I know.
But even imagine, imagine back in the days where at least now it can sort of be digitally saved somewhere.
Yeah.
Imagine back in the days where it's like, no, this is the original paper.
Yeah.
How do I know?
How do I know that is the paper?
Why can someone just like make the paper?
Right.
Or,
or,
Uh-huh.
That's very confusing.
That's good.
That's a really,
really good one.
Thank you.
Paper culture is,
like we both want to return to it,
but it's confusing.
Then there gets to be so much of it.
What about the trees?
No, it's true.
We need all the trees for Zara's Resort.
For Zara's Resort.
Yeah, we need the big leaf trees for your resort.
I think that what, it's a tropical vibe.
I think so.
Yeah.
Like palm trees,
but also big oak tree.
I like that.
Like I like the paradise feeling of that.
And different areas of Europe.
Yeah, maybe like botanical garden.
Yes.
That can also be like a side part to the hotel or like resort.
I think rides wise.
Butterfly garden.
There's obviously a Zara boat ride.
Of course.
Of course.
I think you, I think there's a Zara like licorish, Swedish, gummy.
Now we're talking.
Candy store.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm telling you.
Okay.
We keep saying Goon.
We keep saying Goon.
We keep saying Zara open a resort.
All right.
Let's, why scan when I can goon?
Why can't when I can go?
Let's.
No, I feel terrible right now.
All right.
So are you?
Yes, I'm ready.
Okay, you're ready.
But I'm not really ready.
This is Zara Larson's I don't think so honey.
Her time starts now.
My I don't think so honey is I don't think so honey segment.
Yeah.
For me.
Has people said this before?
Yeah.
Yes.
Lady Gaga has.
No, she did.
Okay.
What I want to say is that why is my heart pounding.
Yeah.
I'm sitting here.
I've been, I've been getting texts from Chris all weekend.
And what is your, oh no, oh no, honey, segment is going to be?
What is that going to be?
And I'm like, I don't know.
I didn't graduate high school.
Like, I don't know what the essay is going to be about.
So now I'm still doing the segment.
Yeah, you are.
That's what happens.
I can't escape it.
So even if I don't want to be part of it, I still have to be part of it.
And you have to sit here and you have to judge me.
And now everyone's going to be in the comment.
Shut off the comments on this video.
They can only like.
If you're commenting, no dislikes.
Yeah.
And that's literally what it is, I guess.
Yeah.
I'm not 20 minutes.
Okay, so it's kind of, we're not clipping this for social.
It's kind of, it's kind of kismit that you say it like this, because literally
today we were talking about retiring the segment.
We're like, we don't like this segment anymore.
We don't like.
Why has this been stressing me out?
I'm so sorry.
Do you want to know why it's stressing you out?
Because this is why it's stressful.
Because you're a positive person.
Because you're a positive person.
Yes.
And this is actually something I think.
I, that's literally what it is.
No.
And I don't think, I don't think we need more.
Because I don't think so.
What about I think so, honey?
Sure.
You want to do that?
Oh, I think so, honey.
Do you have an I think so honey that you want to do right now
is something that you love and you want to pop off for a minute?
Oh.
We're putting you on the spot.
Could be bugs.
It could be.
Could be necklaces.
Could be pop music.
I don't know.
Yeah, that's okay.
Sorry, y'all.
That's okay.
Oh, I apologize.
You've said so many positive things for an hour and a half.
How can we ask you for one more?
No, I love you guys.
You're amazing.
We love you so much.
And do you know, there's so many I think so honeys that you did, such as like when you did a costume change?
That's an, okay, okay.
Let me get to it.
I think so honey.
Okay, go.
This is our, this is our largest I think so honey.
I think so honey do quick changes throughout the day.
Yes.
Didn't this like gag you a little bit?
A lot of it.
Like me coming in, new outfit, new chapter, new energy, new life.
I feel like my people that I have in my life, they do like five changes throughout
the day.
And it makes me, it makes me happy.
It amuses me.
It's like, it's gesturing, but it's also, it's like fashion, personality, depending on
what vibe that is I'm doing.
Like maybe I should have put on a new outfit for this segment.
Maybe that should have been the all leather.
Like I'm a little bit emo, I'm a little bit mad, like you see what I'm trying to do.
to express with my fashion.
And then I go to the next interview
and I have a new outfit on.
And it's like, it's a way of telling people
how you feel without saying words.
Wow.
So I think more quick changes.
And it doesn't even take that much space in your back.
Like you can have a little pan and a little shirt.
It doesn't have to be like this whole thing
with the shoes to go to match.
Right.
But just like, change it up.
Change it up.
Change it up.
Change up the vibe.
I think so, honey.
Yes. Can I tell you something?
You just nailed it.
And all we needed to do for Zara was make it positive.
That's who you are.
Maybe you actually just changed the course of Las Culture.
Because I'm tired of people seeing the I don't think so honey clips and being like, why are they screaming?
I'm like, well, that's actually the bit.
But the algorithm doesn't allow people to understand the bit.
It just shows you people screaming.
Passion is passion.
We need we heart it culture.
You're so quick with that.
Oh, I do this.
I do this.
Well, he does this.
millennial heart. I do that Gen Z heart sometimes too.
But then people call me out and then K-pop hard, of course.
Of course. And then A.D. Bryant one time tried to do this, but it doesn't really work.
What is that? It's a V.
Well, no matter what shape, no matter what shape heart it is, yeah, this is something else.
Wait, how will we make a Z?
Yes.
Oh my God. What a gag is that?
I just messed it up.
That's beautiful.
Beautiful.
Love.
Yes.
And then you go, wait, that's literally it.
I think your fandom name is Gooners.
Gooners.
I support that.
Yeah, okay.
I like it a lot better than sluts or larceness.
Okay, so you know what?
Now that everyone has heard it, Zara likes it.
We like it.
We don't matter that much, but think about it.
Ruminate on it.
Goon on it.
Yeah.
Whatever the shape of heart it is, they're all for you.
We love you so much.
I love you so.
You're so gifted and we're so happy that, like,
You stopped by.
This is so fun.
I had the best time.
Thank you for having me.
We love you.
We had every episode with the song.
Should we see if we can do it today?
A never-ending midnight song.
Oh, you gotta be an amazing day.
That's amazing.
I love that.
That was so fun.
