Yeah, so we have two New Jersey sisters who ended up in handcuffs at Orlando International Airport, accused of shoving a frontier airlines employee after being told they were too intoxicated to board the flight. Anyway, who are we dealing? with here. Sisters, Kiera Lyons, and Moriflores. They were preparing to board their frontier flight home when police say things took a wild and chaotic turn at the gate. According to the arrest report, airline staff told the women that they were too intoxicated to board. And that is when everything started to unravel. Officers claim the sisters became belligerent, shouting, confrontation develops with frontier staff, and there is an apparent refusal of repeated orders for them to leave the boarding area. And it all culminates, police say, when the women shoved a front-tier employee to the ground.

And you're going to hear from that worker in the newly released body cam footage. When police arrive, they find Kiera visibly distressed, repeatedly telling officers she suffers from anxiety. Mora seemingly tries to explain their version of the situation. And when her sister gets put in handcuffs, that's when she allegedly becomes quite combative. Now, for the first time, we have this body cam video, and it is revealing exactly how all of this escalated, from an apparent heated argument at the gate to a night in handcuffs. That is where the footage begins, officers approaching Kiera, who's clearly panicked,

struggling to explain what happened, saying over and over that she has anxiety and depression. I can't. I can't. I can't. I literally can't. I literally can't. Stay over here. I have anxiety. Anxiety and depression. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. Yes.

Yeah. We have video, we have video and I have, yeah. Relax, okay, I'm good idea. She's got so much anxiety too, so maybe you're going to talk to me. I'm literally... No, no, no, no. You stay here. Don't say anything.

Don't do you want. I don't wait. Give me no idea. Here, no, no, no. She did not do anything wrong. What was she to you? She's my sister. Okay.

You are? My dad, we're the... It's a lot. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. My whole thing is, where exactly did all this occur? No, no, no, no, wait. We were unclean.

She had used the bathroom. And they asked her. They go, are you intoxication? She goes, yeah, I had a few drinks. a few drinks and that was it. Okay. Do you have a boarding pass or anything? Yes, she does.

Can I see it? Yeah, where's the boarding pass? Wait a minute. I just... So I told she's got really bad anxiety, so they got a lot of come home. I'm literally trying. Just lean against that for me. You want me to go against here?

Yeah, just lean against that. Okay, right there. You have boarding pass? Yeah. They gave us something. That's fine. I just still need it back. I want that.

I want that. Okay. Okay, we're going to hear, we need to realize if we're here, we're going to be fine, you're fine, you're fine, you're fine. Now, no, no, no, no. Now, officers, they first speak with the sisters near the gate, trying to get a sense of what happened. here, right? Well, Kiera clearly overwhelmed repeats that she struggles with anxiety and depression, pleading for understanding while trying to explain the events on the jet bridge. Her sister

Mora is nearby, arguably equally agitated. And officers, they attempt to sort out who is involved, what led to this push, it is a scene, the sister's distress is on full display, and officers are working to separate fact from confusion. Well, next, police turn to the frontier. employee who says that she was injured during this confrontation, this incident. And she tries to explain how the confrontation escalated from a verbal dispute, a disagreement, into physical contact. And once again, we got the body cam footage. And the body cam footage here captures her describing being allegedly shoved to the ground by the sisters. You are the person that was so what happened? And I don't want to say it. So what happened? And do you have an idea? And do you

have an idea? I'll get that in it. So please, just explain to the left. The best way. The flight attendant to inform me that the girl was from, she was in the rush room throwing up. And which one do you know? The youngest one. Okay. Not one with the tattoos, but uh, correct? Yes. Okay. So go ahead. Go ahead. When they informed me that she was intoxicated, I had to call a GSC, which is my supervisor. 28. He showed up. Thank you. They started screaming.

They were in the aircraft. I got asked to call you guys because they weren't leaving. Okay. She finally left the jet bridge. I was kind of following them out a little bit. I told him to retract the jet bridge. She turned around, got in my face and said, I said, thank you.

She turned around, or when she was facing me, she pushed me. And then turned around, and then the sister came up and shoved me again, which I tripped over a maze. So both of them. Yes. Okay. And then I tripped and then my shoe and I fell on the ground. Okay.

It was the short, skinny one first that pushed me. And then the bigger, her sister pushed me right after. Okay. And it was all stemmed from the facts of you were saying that it was drunk on the plane or somebody said that? I didn't even say anything to them. Okay, so what was the whole thing that happened in the plane? They were intoxicated. Okay, and who approached them about their talk about me?

I talked to them to talk to outside because she was like to call her sister and her sister was sitting in the back and then her sister ran forward and they started yelling at her thing. So officers, they gather statements from the airline staff, and she was like, she called her sister and her sister was sitting in the back and then her sister ran forward and they both started yelling at her day. So officers, they gather statements from the airline staff, and then they return to speak with Kira and Morrow, the sisters. And the sisters continue to explain their side, describing their behavior, what led them to leave the plane. And officers, they're focused on clarifying the chain of events. What's going on? My dad. I guess ARP is coming to say.

I don't care. My dad, I'm not turning to anything. My dad works in New Jersey is for the same people. Yes, like, like, I promised you, I graduate tomorrow. School like college. What's going on? The guy who did he pushed her and said like you have to go. He's just very hard.

Yeah, no, front here. And I'm here. Okay, I understand. Okay, no, no, no. It doesn't matter. Just relax. You guys, what are you guys? We're not going to relax.

So he went to the gates. She's in her group? Yes, she had a future. I don't know. I could see it from my side. Yes. I tried to go back to my seat. Right now, like,

I can start from the handle off. Because, I don't know if you know, but. And the side of it's not here. The word was, she was refusing to leave an air traffic. Are you what time? And she goes, yeah, I had drinks. I admitted that she was.

So, listen, the thing is that... Because she gets anxiety. So, every airline is different, right? So, airlines are private entities, so they have their free will that they can decide whether you want to fly or not, right? It's a security risk. Yeah, definitely.

So let's say if she's intoxicated, they don't know what she might create a disturbance or anything like the aircraft, so that's why they decided to get her out there. But what about Jose pushing her? Yeah, that's why he's trying to get the information from Jose trying to see what forced to be here. Yeah. To go home.

And then the other girl fell, after Jose pushed her, the other girl fell. And she's like, oh, I got her. The other flight attendant, I didn't get her name. But I was like, are you kidding me? I watched her fake it and fall down. Oh, my wrist. I was like, she don't fight. So I just try to keep her home like she is now.

Yeah. No, just stay. Just see what's going on. Right now, like I said, medical is coming, to check up on her, and she's intoxicated. Right now, since she had a drink, she gets in her anxiety. She's obviously going to have a couple of drinks to go fly, you know. Yeah, the thing is that you can have a couple of drinks, but once you start getting a little bit rowdy or whatever they should decide. No, no, I'm not saying.

That's my thing. Once they can see it's visible or anything like that, they're not going to risk anything. Yeah. Yeah. How old do the patient would be, like, things? But like a man doesn't need to lay his hands. Now, amid all the confusion, Kiera tries to explain her actions and why she felt she shouldn't be removed from the plane. And officers, they press for clarity, asking her to go step by step through what allegedly happened.

But she appears to kind of struggle to stay on track because she's continuing to insist she meant no harm and that she comes from a family in law enforcement. Let's just relax. We're not going to relax. We're not going to talk to who is it, Jose. I don't know, it's neat. Someone pushed it. Yes. Yes, I tried to go back to my seat. And the side of fact is that it would take double of alcohol. So I took two drinks. So any, any time of drugs, I had two drinks, okay? So, like, and my, literally. So, like, so airlines are private dependencies, so they have their free will. Okay. Right. Did you see him push her?

Yeah. Did you witness everything? Yes. Again. It was a little over the top. She went to use the bathroom. They told her she had to sit down, whatever. What about who was they pushing her?

We're just trying to relax everybody to get everybody to go home. Now I don't, I hope we can make this sleep, but I don't know that we can. So you guys are getting on a plane. We're just getting on a plane to trend. To trend. I watched her feet. Okay, so you guys were already on the plane, about to leave. I had to go to the bathroom.

I had to go to the bathroom. And I went to the bathroom, I went to go pee. Just take home. I'm sorry, I'm trying. I'm trying. I went to go to the bathroom, sir. And then I, and they're like, oh, you have to get escorted. They were sitting down in the chairs, and I was like, okay, it comes in.

What's going on? I was like, what's... I literally, like... What you do? What you do? Here, let's come over here. So, I'm trying to understand this. No, I totally am saying.

My boyfriend's literally going to a state trooper right now in New Jersey. I got you. So, you're on the plane. You have to go to the bathroom. Yes. You go to the bathroom. They stop you. They say, you need to be escorted to the bathroom.

Yes. What happened from that? No, they send me escorted off the bathroom. So I take Zola. And I graduate, stopped in the university right, literally tomorrow. And I, I'm, like, I got. So you need to be escorted. reported out of the bathroom?

Yes. So you're already inside? Yes. Okay, so... But they didn't bother me when I was in the bathroom. Okay, so then what happened? So I went out and I was like, okay, I'm gonna do some scene. They're like, oh, you need to go out, out the bathroom.

And I was like, what? Like, why? And then I was like, okay, like, that's like, whatever. And then I don't give any... My boy, literally, like, when I tell you that my boyfriend is, I understand. I understand. And then my boyfriend had literally, like, been with him for five years.

I understand. They begged me to take Stafford, says, which is the township. I got you. I'm just, I'm focused on what happened with the pushing and the disturbance. So I was like, okay, like, I'm just going to go to my seat because I'm like, this makes no sense. Like I'm not, like, I'm literally not trying to keep anyone like you said a couple of drinks, but like I'm not trying to give any type of harm. Okay. So everything, plus, like my whole family has been law enforcement.

Like, that's my oldest sister. We're five. There's my brother. I understand. So my dad works for the state PBA, which is the police benefit. I need to please stay on track. Okay. I understand your family's law enforcement.

Okay. I appreciate them very much. Yeah. I need you to stay on track with me and just walk to step to step. What happened? Why were you pushed? What was the escalation? So I went to the bathroom and they're like, no, you can't get back to your seat.

And I was like, why can't you back my seat? Like, I don't understand. Like I'm wrong. Like, I had a couple drinks down to this thing. Like, whatever. Like, we're safe. Did they say that to you? You're drunk or whatever?

Yes. Yes, yes, yes. No, didn't say I was drunk there. And I was like, I don't understand what I'm getting off. Like, I have graduation. Like, I'm graduating forensics. Well, after explaining the confusion over the bathroom and her attempts to return to her seat, Kiera is pressed to focus on the critical moment, the escalation that led

to the physical contact. So the next footage here captures her account and what may have happened on this jet bridge. So they're telling you, you've been drinking, you need to get off the point. Yes, yes. What happened next? The next day, I tried to, I was like, no, like, I'm fine, like, I'm good. Like, I'm not gonna get sick or anything. Then he pushed me.

He pushed you, how to do it? He pushed me, like, I was, like, so I'm coming off the plane. I'm just gonna re-enact it, like, the way. He was like, no, do you have to get off the plane? To your chest? Yes. Okay. Yes, and so he held to me in that way.

And I was like, no, especially because it's my boobs, so, like, I can go further that way if you, if you want me to. Okay. Are you guys, did you guys witness everything? I just got getting there. They weren't there. I know, I know exactly who it was on the way. who it was on that plane. Okay, so what do you guys need? Or you're just...

I need her boarding pass. Okay. To write a whole report. Okay. Okay. Do you have a boarding pass? Yeah, I can get it through. Maure.

Yeah, we need her boarding pass too. Yeah. Who would... It was... The flight attendant. The flight attend. The flight attendants? I don't... I just know that there was a male.

It's all in that. Where was it inside? He was right inside. When I got off the bathroom, and then we were in 12 C. No, no, I'm saying it was on the plane or inside the in the plane. It was in the plane.

It was in the plane at gate 13. On the plane. Yes. Yes. Yes. Is there a way for you to make paper copies? Okay. Is there a way for you to make paper copies?

I was like, okay, like, why can't I get on the plane? Like, I'm fine. Like, I was dropped. I'd be like, okay, I don't want to fly. Like, obviously, like, I already have a diet. Yeah. Okay. They need to ask me to have a couple of drinks.

What I'm trying to figure out? Yeah. If it was. Like him trying to guide you guys out of the plane? No, no, no. No, it was to my boobs. Yes. I'm sorry because I understood it. So did he push you with the intent to hurt you?

It's all right. With the ill intent. He was just trying to get us off, out. He was just trying to get you guys out. That's what got me fired. I threw my hands on my sister. Now, police, they return to the airline staff to once again, gather statements as they piece together the sequence of events. And it becomes clear that witness

accounts could support criminal charges. And that sets the stage for the sister's arrest. So at any point during the flight, anybody put hands on the girls at any time. It was just verbal and they were telling them they come off. And they were going to go on. And they was willing to come off. No, I'm saying, Wednesday got in the jet bridge, they, at that point, it was willing to come. I don't know what person they started with her, she said, come on, let's go, let's go, let's go. And they're willingly came up. She, she walked through the jet bridge, and then one, the younger girl pushed her down. So both of them pushed her at the same time?

So both of them put their hands at the same time. Okay. So both of them will be going to jail because you're willing to write a statement and then I got another witness saying the same thing. So the thing is, Teresa stated that we need to get them medically cleared before we even go back in operation. Let's be clear about something before any further action could be taken. Officers, they have to make sure that the sisters were medically cleared. So they check on their condition, any medications that they might have taken. Okay.

What problem you think you haven't right now? I mean, I have anxiety. Oh, yeah, but then it's so hard. Do you need to be on medication for that? I am on medication, ma'am. So did you take it? Yes. So you took it already?

As Kiera was taken into custody, what happens with Mora? Well, Mora watches in disbelief. Her panic is mounting. And this is until the officers turn their attention to her. And she pretty much has a complete meltdown. Can I come back to carry him? Okay. Why is she being handcuffed and detained?

As Mora is placed in the back of a patrol car, her panic seemingly only in, intensifies, pleading with the officers to remove the handcuffs, insisting that she and her sister were the ones who were wronged here. We're fine.

Yeah, it was the ones on the plane that were working with them. So obviously they're going to have each other's back. They work together. How about this? Whatever happened only happened?

Well, I'm arrested. Do I arrested? about you in court okay all right wait i'm just looking at all right no no i'm just asking for me ma'am ma'am what's up ma'am i'm asking a question so what happens in the end well the sisters were charged with battery and disorderly intoxication and reporting and court filings seemed to show the sisters were referred to a pre-trial intervention program on september 17th and their case has since been closed. According to the state attorney's website,

pretrial intervention programs are designed to offer individuals facing charges for nonviolent crimes and opportunity to avoid the long-term consequences of a criminal conviction. These programs typically target those with little to no prior criminal history, focusing on rehabilitation rather than punishment. The ultimate goal is to reduce the burden on the criminal justice system by providing alternative methods for addressing minor offenses and promoting positive behavioral changes.
