Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm Ben Mycelis from the Midas Touch Network and this is a breaking news alert. We have been reporting here on the Midas Touch Network that Donald Trump's lawyers have been telling him to brace for an imminent indictment by special counsel Jack Smith in connection with Jack Smith's ongoing criminal investigation into Donald Trump's theft of thousands of government records. And we are now learning why this appears to be so imminent and why charges seem to definitely be very, very likely. A bombshell report from the Washington Post called Trump workers moved Mar-a-Lago boxes a day before Justice Department came for documents. New details, including alleged dress rehearsal for moving sensitive papers show a focus on
Starting point is 00:00:49 Donald Trump's instructions and intent. And if what is being reported in this article is accurate and it seems to have very good sourcing, there are multiple smoking guns that special counsel Jack Smith now has. Let me give you the five key takeaways from this article. Number one, that Donald Trump had people move the boxes containing classified information, just one day before the top counterintelligence officials at the Department of Justice arrived at Mar-a-Lago on June 3rd.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Boxes were moved by two Mar-a-Lago employees, one that we've known before, Walt Nauta. We didn't know the specific timing when they were moved. Another employee whose name was not identified in this Washington Post article, but his lawyer, John Irving, confirmed that this employee who has spoken with special counsel, Jack Smith, who moved boxes the day before the top DOJ counterintelligence officials arrived at Mar-a-Lago. The boxes were moved June 2nd. The top counterintelligence officials arrived at Mar-a-Lago on June 3rd of 2022, and the
Starting point is 00:02:01 lawyer John Irving confirmed that this employee helped Walt now to move it. Didn't know what he was moving, unlike Nauta, who apparently did know, but did confirm that this individual knew he was moving boxes. So that's number one. Number two, Donald Trump was holding dress rehearsals for hiding classified information at Mar-a-Lago in the event that there was a search warrant executed at Mar-a-Lago or in the event that the Department of Justice issued a search warrant. They held actual dress rehearsals of how to hide classified material at Mar-a-Lago according to sources in this article. And Donald Trump was the one who personally told those
Starting point is 00:02:47 involved in the dress rehearsal, which documents he wanted to keep, how he wanted to hide them, and stuff like that. So that is very big information right there. Number three, we know that witnesses have told Jack Smith that Donald Trump was keeping classified documents out in the open in his office in Florida and Mar-a-Lago, that he would just keep these classified documents and frequently showed others these classified documents, visitors, aides, people who should
Starting point is 00:03:18 not have seen these classified records. Another main takeaway point number four, that the dress rehearsals that I've just talked about, that was actually mentioned and pointed out to a federal judge in connection with the Department of Justice's prior briefings. And so the connection point there, you may recall here on the Midas Touch Network that we've talked about how Donald Trump's lawyer, one of the lawyers representing him in connection with his theft of these thousands of government records, Evan Corcoran had to turn over his notes about 50 pages of handwritten, very detailed notes because the federal court found the crime fraud exception applied.
Starting point is 00:04:01 In other words, attorney, client privilege to keep these documents confidential did not apply because Donald Trump was using his legal representation to commit crime. So I believe it was in those legal papers where the Department of Justice successfully compelled the production of Evan Corcoran's legal notes is where the Department of Justice pointed out Donald Trump was involved in dress rehearsals and was using his lawyers and aides to help stage these dress rehearsals as part of his obstructive conduct and the final the fifth big takeaway from this Washington Post article is that the Department of Justice is focused on Donald Trump's crimes and obstructive conduct after the August 8th, 2022, search of Mar-a-Lago by the Department of Justice as well.
Starting point is 00:04:52 So the timeline here is even broader than anyone has previously suspected that Donald Trump has engaged an ongoing obstruction of justice even after the Department of Justice search Mar-a-Lago in August 8th of 2022, and you may recall that we've reported here on the Midas Touch Network how other documents were found by Trump's lawyers in other offices in Florida, that Donald Trump kept, and in other storage facilities, and that there was an aid, for example, who had downloaded classified schedules from when Donald Trump was in office, how that was turned over to the Department of Justice
Starting point is 00:05:31 back in December of 2022. Let's just jump into this article quickly and show you from the source what is being said from the Washington Post article. Two of Donald Trump's employees move boxes of papers, the day before FBI agents and a prosecutor visited the former president's Florida home. It's really a resort to retrieve classified documents in response to a subpoena timing
Starting point is 00:05:56 that investigators have come to view as suspicious and an indication of possible obstruction according to people familiar with the matter. Trump and his aides also allegedly carried out a dress rehearsal for moving sensitive papers even before his office received the May 2022 subpoena according to the people familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of an enemy to describe the sensitive ongoing investigation. Prosecutors in addition have gathered evidence indicating that Trump at times kept classified documents in his office in a place where they were visible and sometimes showed them to others. These people said, it goes on to say,
Starting point is 00:06:37 of particular importance to investigators in the classified document case, according to people with familiar with the probe, is evident showing that boxes of documents were moved into a storage area on June 2nd, just before Senior Justice Department lawyer, Jay Bratt arrived at Mar-a-Lago with agents. The June 3rd visit by law enforcement officials was to collect materials responsive to a May 2022
Starting point is 00:07:03 grand jury subpoena, demanding the return of all documents with classified markings. It goes on to describe how John Irving, a lawyer representing one of the two employees confirmed that this other employee not Walton out to the other employee moved the boxes. Here's a direct quote from the lawyer of this other employee who's not identified due from the lawyer of this other employee who's not identified due to the sensitivity of the matter. Quote, he was seen on Mar-a-Lago security video, helping Walt Nowtom move boxes into storage
Starting point is 00:07:34 area on June 2, 2022. My client saw Mr. Nowtom moving the boxes and volunteered to help him. The next day he added the employee employee helped now to pack an SUV when former president Trump left for bed minister for the summer. So, helped also put documents in an SUV. It goes on to say on the evening of June 2nd, the same day the two employees moved the boxes. A lawyer for Trump contacted the Justice Department
Starting point is 00:08:02 and said officials there were welcome to visit Mar-a-Lago and pick up the classified documents related to the subpoena. So, Brat the top counter-intelligence officials and FBI agents arrived the following day, but they were told they can't look into any of the contents of it. So, they basically moved boxes into the storage facility, told Brat and the FBI see they're here, but you can't look into it Don't worry. There is no more classified information on June 3rd of 2022 They handed over to the Department of Justice Donald Trump's lawyers did 38 classified documents They signed an attestation under penalty of perjury stating these were all of the records that exist
Starting point is 00:08:43 There are no more classified records. That turned out to be a lie on August 8th, 2022, the Department of Justice, searched Mar-a-Lago through a valid search warrant and found over a hundred other classified documents, top secret sensitive compartmental information, and other major, major classified documents there. And we believe these documents relate to nuclear programs of foreign countries and foreign
Starting point is 00:09:07 weapon systems as well. And now this new evidence that Donald Trump was holding these dress rehearsals to try to keep very sensitive documents for himself. Obviously, that goes to the intent element here. One final major takeaway here. The last time the Grand jury in Washington, DC met where special counsel Jack Smith was presenting evidence was on May 5th. So a 20 plus day gap right now from the last time special counsel, Jack Smith, and paneled the Grand jury. You put these pieces
Starting point is 00:09:40 together, folks, and that's why we believe here that indictments are imminent and that special council jack smith has the Goods. Thank you for watching.
