You want higher gas prices? You want higher food prices? Egg prices are already soaring. Well, MAGA who voted for Donald Trump, you got it. Let me break it down for you here on the MidasTouch Network and on LegalAF. Yes, Donald Trump was successful in destabilizing the Canadian government leading to the fall of the Trudeau government. I mean, it fell for many reasons, but Donald Trump certainly didn't help it with his threats by social media posts and meetings of a trade war. Donald Trump wants a trade war. The rest of the provinces in Canada fired back and said they will do everything they

can to make it painful for Donald Trump and therefore the American people. Donald Trump allegedly ran on some sort of populist platform that he's just a diet coke swillin' regular six pack Joe guy with a thermos and a Subway sandwich under his arm while his the entirety of the stands behind him at the inauguration are filled with oligarchs and billionaires who frankly, well, let's be crude for a minute. If a MAGA person or an average American was on fire in the street, they wouldn't stop

to pee on them to put that fire out. And that is what has just been led into the government. That is what Joe Biden talked about in his farewell address, that we are witnessing in broad daylight, an oligarch, a robber baron takeover of our federal government. It's not a populism. Yeah, he got in a populism wave, you know,

of like, yeah, that's our guy, Jan Six, let's attack the Capitol. But that's not who he really wants surrounding him. You can see by the stands, he doesn't have any of the Jan Six people sitting up there next to him. He's got Apple and Facebook and the Washington Post and Amazon and Coca-Cola and Disney

and the rest all sitting around him. He's got the TikTok, the TikTok president who was in the back pocket of the Chinese government who owns TikTok by extension, sitting on his knee effectively in a VIP section during the inauguration. So forget all this talk about Donald Trump as a president of the people.

Unless those people are in the Forbes 50 list, that's not his people. And so what you're seeing now is Canada saying, you know what, you want to trade war? Egg prices are already, already just because of Donald Trump's destabilization of our financial markets. The wild gyration of the treasury market, the bond market, cryptocurrency and the rest and the stock market is all not because of the last gasp efforts of Joe Biden

to protect America. It's because of the incoming Trump administration. And so what I like about Justin Trudeau's fire back is that it's going to pay a political price for Donald Trump. Tariffs will mean higher gas prices and higher food prices for Americans, especially during the winter, and higher natural gas prices. That's a quote from Canada's energy minister, Jonathan Wilkinson, speaking to the Associated Press. They're going to target things that matter like orange juice and toilet paper and steel products. Some of those are Florida based, which is where Donald Trump lives. That's where orange juice comes from, everybody.

And that's one of the reasons they're picking that as well. Canada alone, according to reporting, imports 360 tons a year of oranges. And of course, they have other things to do as well. So we have billions, billions. And I just saw the new reporting. Egg prices through the roof, food prices through the roof. One guy who's a leading developer in construction, Republican, said he's going to lose half of his construction staff, construction team

for buildings, for housing, for office buildings in Texas when the deportations start. Isn't there a better way to protect the American economy? Isn't the president supposed to be the chief revenue officer to make sure that we protect the American economy? And how is getting rid of 11 million people who are hard, many, most, most of them are hardworking, wanna be Americans, who are paying 60 billion, billion, where they'd be, billion dollars in taxes every year, dying literally to be Americans.

How is deporting them and decimating huge sectors of our housing, construction, food, rental properties, how is that helping? That will lead, I mean, listen, I only took economics one and two in college, but I sort of know if you get rid of half of your labor force at the same time you're in a trade war with your allies, it may not be a good thing for you, for an average American at the pump around his dinner table or her dinner table or at the supermarket

or how much he pays for rent or for housing. Because Donald Trump at the end of the day is a phony populist. He doesn't care about the voters that voted for him. He doesn't care about the voters that voted for him. He doesn't care about the voters that voted for him. He cares about the billions and billions of dollars that were put in his pocket for the campaign. The billions and hundreds of millions of dollars put in his pocket for his inauguration. You know, inauguration and handing out

double the price VIP tickets to have dinner and dancing with Donald Trump. That's what he cares about. They raised $300 million for the inauguration and inauguration balls. How's that helping average Americans? How's that subsidizing food? How's that taking children out of poverty? How's that helping subsidize your rent or your or your egg prices?

It isn't. So Canada is not gonna be picked on. They're not gonna be bullied by Donald Trump. And now they're gonna have to implement real policy, not just social media policy, in a trade war with Canada. Good luck. I applaud Justin Trudeau, what he's doing on the way out of office.

He's setting up his government well to oppose Donald Trump on the battlefield of the economy. Unfortunately, we, we, the average American, are going to be victimized about that. And then Donald Trump will be up at some podium six months ago after he's deported two million people, spent a billion dollars to do it, separated families, separated babies born here from their families, decimated factories, factory and farm personnel and workers, and led to everything that matters to us going up in price. He's going to stand at some podium and say, well, it was a much more difficult problem

than we thought before. We're going to continue to report on it all right here on the Midas Touch Network and on Legal AF.
