Putting aside the MAGA Supreme Court for a minute, and some other judges like Judge Alain Cannon, there's a lot of judges across this country in both state and federal court who are doing the heavy lifting and upholding the rule of law and who are

actually doing things like saying, hey, you can't steal an election and you can't lie and say that an election was stolen if it wasn't or you can't disenfranchise voters by not allowing their votes to count. And what am I talking about right now? I'm talking about what's going on in Georgia. So in Georgia, Georgia is one of the battleground states. It's one of the states that really Trump and Harris are both fighting for. And it's the margin there is razor thin. And it's where, as you if you recall, it's where Trump called this Georgia secretary of state four years ago, Brad Raffensperger, and said, find the 11,378 votes or whatever it was. And and Trump calls it a perfect phone call anyway.

So so Georgia is an important, important state. So what is Donald Trump doing in his effort to steal the election again? If he doesn't win. I mean, look, he might win legitimately. I hope not. But if he doesn't, he is doing everything he can to try and steal the election. Now, one of the things he's been doing is he's been installing far right wing MAGA people who are willing to lie, cheat

and steal for him on his behalf. People who are willing to put in fake slates of electors, people who are willing to reject certification of the votes, people who are willing to do his bidding to steal an election. Because really we live in a democracy and it's supposed to count your vote. It's supposed to matter what the truth is. Win, lose or draw. You're supposed to, if you lose fair and square, you have a peaceful transfer of power and you try again next time.

You're not supposed to steal, obviously. And it's just so frustrating because they don't follow those rules. So they have been, because he tried to steal the election and, well, he did steal the election in 2016. He was successful then when he paid off a porn star and and falsified business records to hide information from the American people, where he won in a razor thin margin, three states, less than 100000 votes. Right. Who knows if this was the information, if the Stormy Daniel stuff

had come out on the heels of Access Hollywood, who knows if that would have taken the election from him? And then four years later, he tried to steal the election, didn't work, caused an insurrection. And now he's had four years to try again. And so he's installing people at the state, county, local level, the state legislature levels. They've done everything they can so that they can get ready

in all of these swing states to do what they need to do to try to steal the election. So in Georgia, he got the state election board to appoint two or three MAGA right wing individuals to pass these crazy, crazy laws that would disenfranchise voters, right? It was these, you have to hand count all ballots, right? So each one has to be hand counted. That could take weeks in some counties. That could take months, even if you had enough people to do it.

And that's ridiculous, because what happens during that time? They don't call the election. He brings these legal cases. He will do whatever he needs to do to try to. So any kind of doubt disorder, get this into the state legislators hands, get people to refuse to certify. Judge McBurney was was held a hearing for a temporary restraining order in Georgia

was held a hearing for a temporary restraining order in Georgia about this whole thing about whether or not they have to certify. And he essentially ordered them and says, no, it's mandatory. You have to certify the election. And it has to be by the date. It's like a week after the election by that date, because that's what the law says. Well, there was a trial going on in a courtroom down the hall. This is Judge Cox also in Georgia.

And this had to do with the hand counting of the ballots and this requirement that that you hand count all the ballots before before you were to certify the election. Now, obviously, what is that going to do? There's no way if you hand count all the ballots that that's going to create

the exact same number as a computer because there's human error. And then if there's human error and that happens, that will then create the sort of chaos and doubt and questions in the election. Well, the United States Constitution allows the states to determine the time, place, and manner of elections. And they'll just say, oh, you know, OK, we're just going to decide it.

The state legislatures are going to decide this. And guess what? The state legislature in Georgia, it's Republican. So guess what they're going to decide this. And guess what? The state legislature in Georgia, it's Republican. So guess what they're going to do? Regardless of who won, they're going to say it's Trump and they're going to hand those elector electoral ballots, electoral ballots, whether they're fake or false or fraudulent or real. So thank God the Georgia Supreme Court basically said no way. We are that this this crazy rule to, you know, to try and do this not happening. And what Judge Cox said, first of all, these new measures are illegal, unconstitutional and void.

That's what he ruled. And so the Republican National Committee went up to the Supreme Court basically begging them to take this case. And, you know, they want to stand by this, you know, requirement to have these ballots hand counted. And it doesn't matter that that and, you know, they want to do a reasonable inquiry afterwards. And, you know, they had all these rules in effect. And the Supreme Court said, no, that's not happening. inquiry afterwards and you know they had all these rules in effect and with the

Supreme Court said no that's not happening and you know some of the language that that Judge McBurney in his case talked about that I thought was really significant and important is first of all there's no money to hire more people you did this at the 11th hour we're gonna need a lot more people in place in order to do this and certify the elections. Number one. Number two, there's no training on how to do this. What is a reasonable inquiry mean? How do you hand count? What do you do if there's a question? What do you do with that information? You know, there's been no opportunity to do any of that. And so,

you know, this state election board essentially, so it's what most people, by the way, will tell the state election board, this is a bad idea. Nobody wants this. Nobody wants this except Donald Trump and his cronies because they want to make it as difficult as possible, like I said, and they want to make it so that your vote does not end up counting.

They want to take this election and say that they won, whether it is by words, by actions, by court battles, by force, by anything they have to do, they're trying to take this election and steal this election and thank God for the courts. And thank God for even in Georgia where you've got a conservative, where there's a lot of conservative people,

there's a lot of Republicans, even in Georgia, the rule of law still matters. Thank God, and thank God for these judges and this unanimous Supreme Court of Georgia that declined to allow these regulations to go into effect. And they were unanimous in the decision. So our founding fathers, when they created the constitution

and the states are the same, where they have these three branches of government, separate but equal, we don't have kings, everybody, there's checks and balances, all the things we all learned in in our our elementary and middle school classes. We're seeing them play out in living color. You see somebody who the Supreme Court has made a king

because he has presidential immunity now for almost anything he does. But you have courts who are saying not so fast. So the only answer is go vote, vote, vote, vote, vote. And our democracy is on the line. This isn't about whether you agree with you want taxes or immigration. Yes, those things are important. But what's really on the ballot is our democracy, because that is what is at stake. You can listen to a lot of former Republicans who are voting for Harris and voting Democratic, and they will all say the reason they're doing it
