Maggary Public Inn Matt Gates has filed a formal ethics complaint against the former Maggary Public Inn speaker of the house, Kevin McCarthy, for McCarthy, physically assaulting a member of his own party, Maga Republican Timber Chet in the halls of the Capitol Building on Tuesday.

I'm Ben Myceles from the Midas Touch Network and the Maga Republicans are petulant third grade fascists. They are now just physically fighting each other, name calling each other. We have Marjorie Taylor Greene posting that another member of the Maga Republican Party has no balls. We have Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Bobert calling each other names and attacking each other. We have in a Senate committee a Maga Republican senator threatening a labor union witness to a fight in the committee hearing that Bernie Sanders had to actually break up.

And now we have Matt Gaetz filing this formal ethics complaint against Kevin McCarthy. Let's take a look at this formal ethics complaint that has been filed here. It is dear chairman and ranking member. This is from Matt Gaetz, and has come to my attention that this morning, November 14, 2023 following a meeting of the House Republican Conference, Representative Kevin McCarthy, assaulted Representative Tim Birchett, Republican from Tennessee, in the hallways of the Capitol Complex. This assault was witnessed by numerous people, including Claudia Grisale,

of NPR, who was interviewing representative Birchette at the time. For his part, representative Birchette has described the attack as a, quote, sucker punch and, quote, a clean shot to the kidney. Needless to say, this incident deserves immediate and swift investigation by the ethics committee. This Congress has seen a substantial increase of breaches of decorum, unlike anything we have seen since the pre-civil war error. I myself have been the victim of outrageous conduct on the House floor as well, but nothing like an open and public assault on a member committed by another member. The rot starts at the top while representative Birchett is within his rights to decline to

press charges against representative McCarthy. Your committee does have a duty to investigate breaches of the binding code of official conduct, whose first rule is that quote, a member shall behave at all times in a manner that shall reflect credibly on the house. There is substantial evidence that Representative McCarthy breached this duty. Given Representative Birchett's comments on the matter and the statements of public witnesses, I request the House Committee on Ethics to proceed immediately with an assailant

and assailee and any witnesses. I swear or affirm that the foregoing facts in this complaint are true and correct to the best of my knowledge. This is the 14th day of November 2023, since serially Matt Gates. It should also be noted, of course, that the ethics committee upon a request by Maga Republican Kevin McCarthy, while he was speaker of the house, reopened a probe of Matt Gaetz into potential sex trafficking. Matt had originally been opened in 2021, where the ethics committee made the following statement. The committee is aware of public allegations that representative Matt Gaetz may have engaged

in sexual misconduct and or a listed drug use shared inappropriate images or videos on the house floor, misuse state identification records, converted campaign funds to personal use, and or accepted a bribe in proper gratuity or impermissible gift and violation of the house rules laws and other standards of conduct. So we have complaints against gates, gates and his crew with complaints against McCarthy. All of this is, Maga Republican on Maga Republican. Here, by the way, is Tim Berchett

in an interview with CNN, talking about being assaulted by Kevin McCarthy. Play the clip. Explain to us what happened with you and Kevin McCarthy. Well, I was doing an interview with Claudia from NPR, a lovely lady, in which she was asking me a question, and at that time I got ill-boat in the back, and it kind of caught me off guard because it was a clean

shot to the kidneys, and I turned back, and there was Kevin, and for a minute I was kind of, with just happened, and then I chased after him of course. He's at, as I've stated many times, he's a bully with $17 million in a security detail. And he's a type of guy that when you're a kid with door rock over the fence and run home and hide behind his mama's skirt. And he just, you know, he, he, from behind that kind of stuff. And that's not the way we handle things in these Tennessee. We have a problem with somebody, I'm gonna look them in the eye.

And doctor. Okay, so he walked down the hallway, hit you in his elbow. You can go on Claudius Twitter account. It pretty much, or ex account. It's very active. Okay, so then just explain. So you chased him?

What do you mean you chased him? Yeah, just ran after him. I was like, what the heck? Why'd you knew that? Because it was, like I said, if you've ever been hitting the kidneys, it's a little different. You don't have to hit very hard to cause a little bit of pain. And so, and he just, of course, as he always did, does he just denies it or blame somebody else or something, you know?

And it was just a little heated, but I just backed off because there was no reason. I wasn't gaining anything from it. And then everybody saw it, so it didn't really matter. Like he responded to you? Yeah, yeah, he just acted like, you know, what are you talking about, you know, who are you to, you know, that kind of thing. And it's just, you know, I think that's symptomatic of the problems that he's had in his short

tenure as speaker. And were you face to face when you had this interaction? Yeah, but there's security detail and I get it. They were doing their job. So it wasn't exactly like he didn't, he wouldn't turn around and face me. He kept scurrying and trying to keep people between me and him. they would be on the ground. That is the majority level of the Maga Republicans, Kevin McCarthy, denying that he attacked, because he says, if he did attack and hit Timberchett in the kidney, Timberchett would be on the ground. It should be noted that this incident was caught on an audio recording by MPR's reporter who was there.

And as I noted earlier in the video, Maga Republican Senator Mark Wayne Mullin threatened a witness during a Senate committee hearing on labor issues. The hearing was about the benefits of unions to workers and Maga Republican Senator Mullin

was apparently so offended by this hearing or the witness who's the leader of the teamsters talking about helping workers that Maga Republican Mark Wayne Mullin threatened to fight him and Bernie Sanders actually had to break it up here, watch this clip. Like he's self-made. Sorry, I wish he was in the truck with me when I was building my plumbing company myself. And my wife was running the office because I sure remember working pretty hard in long hours. Pretend like he's self-made. What a clown. Fraud. Always has been.

Like that behavior is abhorrent and it's coming from one side. It's coming from the MAGA Republican Party. This isn't your, as President Biden likes to say,

this isn't your old Republican Party. This isn't your parents or grandparents Republican Party. This is MAGA, this is Petulant, Third Grade, wanna be fascists, it is humiliating and just, it's humiliating to our country to see this taking place, but it is important that we call it out, but anyway, that's the letter by Matt Gates filing
