This is Michael Popock for Legal AF. Just when you thought Truth Social and that dumpster fire of a company that Donald Trump owns couldn't get any worse, it has. We've got new reporting coming out of ProPublica and Truth Social, Trump media itself, in which it had to disclose that it canned two of its major chief officers. It fired its chief operating officer. That's the person that makes the trains run its major chief officers. It fired its chief operating officer, that's the person that makes the trains run on time every day, Andy Northwell,

and its chief products officer. That's the person responsible for creating new revenue streams and opportunities within a company. A company that doesn't have any revenue streams, just fired its chief products officer, Sandro de Marais. Now on the surface, it just looks like, they're right, well, they've been around for a year or two and they lost a couple of senior people.

No, according to ProPublica, the reason for the firing is in retaliation, it looks like at least on the surface, because of an internal investigation that started within the company because of a secret whistleblower who complained about certain behaviors and mismanagement by the CEO of the company, former congressperson and

MAGA superstar Devin Nunes out of California. Devin Nunes has been the CEO since 2021. But apparently there was a whistleblower who went to the board, and we're going to talk about that board of directors in a minute, who went to that board of directors and complained about Devin Nunes' misuse of corporate funds, hiring foreign entities, particularly in Macedonia in the Balkans. What is it with Trump and the Balkans? I'm gonna talk to you more about Don Jr.

going to the Balkans as a campaign stop, the presidential campaign transition heads going to the Balkans for some sort of who knows what reason. When you have a former president who's running to be elected, who the world and our enemies already believe is susceptible to being infiltrated, to being turned into a foreign asset, to being compromised and having foreign influence over our policy through the conduit of Donald Trump. It makes me uncomfortable that Donald Trump and everyone around him and in his business operations are going to the Balkans to curry favor with foreign

entities and entering into contracts with foreign entities who of course see this as an opportunity to curry favor and worm their way into the Trump inner circle by the only way that seems to work with Donald Trump, greasing it with money and investments. Why does every company, Donald Trump who wants to be the President of the United States, you know, and he who presided over the worst trade deficit in our nation's history when he was president, why is it every company he gets in the bed with has to be foreign? Are there no US companies that provide cloud services, technology services for true social? They have to go to Macedonia? I'll tell you have to go to Macedonia?

I'll tell you why they went to Macedonia in a minute, and I'll tell you who they went with to Macedonia in a minute. But he can't find TV and podcasting and broadcasting services and product development services in the good old US of A? Midas Touch does. We don't employ or go into contracts

with foreign entities to produce things for us. But Donald Trump seems to. Why? Because the US world is closed to him. Lending is closed to him because of his fraud and fraud convictions. Banks don't want to do business with him. People don't want to be his counterparty. So he's left with what?

Selling bitcoins, selling Bibles, doing business with companies that are just trying to curry favor with Donald Trump for their own benefit, line their own pockets, or foreign entities that he has to go and beg and they're like, oh sure Donald Trump, come in we'll give you all of our money and then we'll tell you what we want if you became president of the United States. So this internal investigation was around misuse of funds by Nunes, him using, contracting with foreign entities when he shouldn't have, interfering with product development, that's probably why the chief products officer is no longer around, and entering into TV deals

with companies nobody's ever heard of who just happen to be major Trump campaign supporters. Oh, what a tangled web. Look at this rat's nest of overlap without any barriers or boundaries between the Trump campaign, Trump business operations, Trump family operations. This is the hijack of Americans' principles and economy and foreign policy before our very eyes. That's what we're watching. Let's return to this whistleblower according to ProPublica. Reports on Devin Nunes. Devin Nunes in retaliation, so the story goes, fires the COO and the chief products officer. And then when ProPublica asked

for comment, of course True Social says, oh this is another in a series of articles about ProPublica that's wrong and defamatory and everything else. Well they do pretty good research as we've seen in the past about things related to Donald Trump. Now what's going on with the Trump stock? Since last I reported on it where I thought it'd already be crashing down past the $10 barrier, it actually went up $2 a share. It's now at 16. See, Wall Street is very hard to get your hands around. Brokers and traders are motivated by lots of different things. What it looks like, and the reason it's at about $16 a share, it went up a couple of dollars. It looks like it's because short sellers are trying

to bet against the company that it will drop even further, but they're buying the stock now, which is propping up the price. So it's a short squeeze, but right now it's leading to a stock increase, a price increase. Not because they've done anything amazing. They're still making no money. They're still burning through $30 million a month.

They're still not a good bet to recover or to avoid bankruptcy. But the short sellers combined with the MAGA are keeping the stock at about $16. I mean, down from a high of almost $90, but a couple of dollars higher than I last reported. Now, let's talk about Macedonia and the sale of stock. since I last did an update on Truth Social, the company had to give 800,000 more shares at $16 a share to ARC by order of a Delaware Chancery Court judge. They're going to dump that position, which should be a downward pressure on the stock price. Similarly, we know that a company called United already sold 11 million shares and got anywhere between 120 and 130 million dollars as a result. They wanted out. They were an early founder investor. They're out. ARC, they're going to get out. The only one that seems to be propping the stock up is Donald Trump making promises not to sell the stock on the 13th of September. Market apparently seems to be buying that. I don't know why you would take Donald Trump's word for it. Although

if he sold any of his 150 million shares it would lead to an immediate stock crash. Now let me return to Macedonia and the Balkans. I did a hot take recently about Don Jr. campaigning for Donald Trump and the Balkans of all things. This board of directors for Truth Social is comprised of the chairman of Rumble. Rumble provides a lot of the infrastructure for Truth Social. In fact, Truth Social Technology and Media isn't really a technology and media company at all. It's just a new skin around Rumble.

If you just dig right below the surface, Rumble's running the show. And the CEO of Rumble is, his family is from North Macedonia, former Yugoslavia. He's invested a lot of money there. He's got technology companies there. He's invested in programmers there and cloud programmers and support there.

And so he's been pushing Trump to go to Macedonia. And so Devin Nunes, the rumble CEO and an old boss of mine, Howard Lutnick, got on a plane to go to Macedonia, I guess for technology purpose, although we don't really know. Howard Lutnick along with Linda McMahon, and Linda McMahon being on the board, are both Trump co-transition heads in case he ever won the presidency. Just to show you that, like, Howard Lutnick runs Canter Fitzgerald, a large brokerage investment bank. You do the math. Okay, so you've got that going on. At the same time, Jared Kushner, with his $3 billion fund, mainly from foreign sources, two billion of which is from the Saudi Private Investment Fund,

is buying up hotels and other projects in the Balkans, including in Macedonia. So you got Don Jr. in Serbia, these guys all going to Macedonia, the investment of the Kushner family and Trump family money in Macedonia, all compromising a guy that's running for the presidency of the United States.

At least I remind him what job he's running for. Now, at the end of the day, between this retaliation, if you look at the postings on social media, right now, the former chief products officer and the COO are saying, I had a great time and true social, just time to move on. But ProPublica's reporting is this was retaliation for the whistleblowers who came out against Devin Nunes, who's now gotten even tighter and tighter in that rat's nest around Donald Trump.

We're gonna continue to follow all of the investigative reporting that's out there about Truth Social, because it's important. And considering Donald Trump has about $1.9 billion of his fortune tied up in this paper company that has no assets, doesn't generate any money, burns through $30 million a month as a burn rate, is going to places like Macedonia and foreign countries to sign TV deals with companies we've never heard of.
