This is Michael Popak, Legal AF. Donald Trump just declared war on immigrants and threatened to put them and Black and Brown people in Trump internment

camps, suspend their constitutional rights, including habeas corpus, treat them as prisoners of war, and improperly and unconstitutional use the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. In a new announcement at a campaign rally stop in Colorado, he announced Operation Aurora. Let me explain it to you and tell you why that should put a chill down your spine and get you to vote in November and keep this madman away from the White House. The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 is exactly what it sounds like. During a time of war, which only Congress can declare, not the President, only Congress can declare a time of war, there are certain war powers that are given to a President.

One of them, since 1798, is the Alien Enemies Act in order to jail, without due process, in internment camps and in prisons enemy combatants against the United States. In internment camps and in prisons, enemy combatants against the United States. Makes sense if an enemy attacks us and you therefore have to suspend habeas corpus and go after them and put them in jail. That's a war power. Suspending the Constitution temporarily by declaring martial law is a war power. The Insurrection Act to suppress dissent in the streets is a war power. Donald Trump is starting to fall in love

with war powers even when there's no war. The fundamental prerequisite to the exercise of war power is a war. It's exactly what it sounds like. It's only three times in American history where any war powers have ever been exercised, especially on American soil, starting with the War of 1812 and ending with World War II. The one in World War II went so far even by FDR, a Democrat, that even the Supreme Court ultimately, ultimately, not originally, thought it was unpatriotic, unconstitutional to put Japanese Americans, not Japanese, Japanese Americans, citizens in internment camps around this country, which is what we had. So when you see these movies where people are being rounded up and

put in camps in America, it's not that far-fetched, especially when the guy running for the highest office in the land invokes the War Powers Act. Now, how would he be able to use war? We're not at war, Pope Huck. The Donald Trump immigration and the flood of immigrants and the border problems and the poorest borders and the Haitians in Ohio are a war against America. So there's a little bit of a loophole with the War Powers Act. It takes a while for the Congress to do anything, as you can tell. Congress can't get out of its own way sometimes, but it is the deliberative body. It is supposed to speech and debate things out until they get to a resolution. One of them could be a resolution authorizing war and war powers to the president,

but in the meantime, things can happen. The Supreme Court and the Constitution recognizes that in certain circumstances, while the Congress is dithering and fiddling, the President can have certain temporary powers. If there is an incursion, an enemy intrusion, the President can do something about it as a lead up to a war going on. But that's the only grounds. Then it comes down to what is an invasion and a predatory incursion. Donald Trump's claiming that people pouring through borders were illegally being here, especially the black and brown bad people who are murderers and drug smugglers and all of that, which is a very small, infinitesimal part of the immigration population in this country. Immigrants commit less crime than good old fashioned white Americans. Look it up. So the argument is, he'll argue that there's

a predatory incursion. That term is not really well defined. And there is already an invasion going on while Congress is dealing with it. So he's going to round people up and put him in the term and camps. He says almost that in the speech. Let's run a clip. Into our country, I'm announcing today that upon taking office, we will have an Operation Aurora at the federal level. To expedite the removals of these savage gangs, and I will invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

Think of that. 1798. This was put there. 1798. That's a long time ago, right? This is also consistent with the Great Replacement Theory, which is at the heart of MAGA dark web conspiracy QAnon theories that Democrats particularly want to bring in immigrants, black and brown people, to replace white people as voters. The Great Replacement Theory. They're

getting replaced. Their vote is getting diluted as opposed to recognizing that America is naturally becoming more diverse as a country, which is a good thing, not a bad thing. That in the next 10 years, one-fourth of America is not going to be white. That scares the crap out of Trump. He knows how to get his base all vibrating and claiming that the enemy is here. They're invading. There's already an incursion. I, Donald Trump, like it's a scene from Full Metal Jacket or some other war movie that he has no business talking about since he never went to war and he never – and he's a draft dodger, but putting that aside for a minute. He's going to – think about

this. Jeff Clark, who was his attorney general for 20 minutes after Jan 6th, said out loud about riots in the streets when they said to Donald Trump, if you don't recognize President Biden as the duly elected president, and you try to suspend things, and you try to seize voting machines, there will be riots in the streets to which Jeff Clark said that's what the Insurrection Act is for. In other words, they'll suppress First Amendment protest and speech and the rising up of the people to oppose a dictator and fascist by use of the Insurrection Act. And what do we have to protect us? The United States Supreme Court? That's the

firewall. With Chief Justice Roberts circling the drain as the most feckless, ineffectual, corrupt Chief Justice presiding over the right-wing MAGA. That's going to protect us from an out of control Leviathan. They already, Supreme Court, through its July 1st immunity decision, has allowed this president, in particular Donald Trump, to levitate above the entire co-equal branches of government. And now look what they've done. They've created a monster, and the monster is now rampaging the countryside. Today's modern diet makes it really difficult to keep things in balance. Donald Trump feels so emboldened that as his campaign stops and his campaign rallies, he can declare Operation Aurora. I'm gonna hunt down and track down illegal immigrants

and gang members. It's always this ridiculous fantasy, the welfare queen, the murderous gang member, the guy from the Congo, whatever he says, it's crazy, as a justification to take away your rights and my rights, to suspend the Constitution, to use the Insurrection Act to suppress you and suppress your voice, to suspend the Constitution, to declare martial law. Remember when he signed an executive order or was about to that was drafted by Sidney Powell in 2020, to seize the voting machines, to declare martial law, suspend habeas corpus. He also thinks, Donald Trump thinks it's okay to use the Comitatus Act to use American troops that are only for defense and turn them on the American people, which has never happened even in time before.

That's why you don't see tanks in the streets. You see National Guardsmen. But you don't see US military, army, navy, air force, marine, space force being used against Americans on American soil. When Donald Trump says, I'm going to use the Alien Enemies Act, we're all the enemies in that sentence. If they're not going after you now, he'll go after you next. After he goes after politicians, election officials, elected officials, donors, the media, podcasters, lawyers, his former cabinet, who's left? People are going to be

standing by going, well, he's not going after me, yet he's not going after you. You think you'll be immune? Rain falls equally, my friend, on the – I'm not sure who I'm talking to on this, I'll take – rain falls equally on the oppressed and the person who's actually benefited at that particular moment. The suspension of the Constitution will impact you. The suspension and the invocation of martial law to put US federal troops on the streets affects you. That's the country you want to live in, the country where you can declare any phony war in order to give yourself those superpowers that are only reserved in time of war, real incursions, real predatory or predatory invasions.

This one got me fired up. Then I did a deeper dive on Legal AF MTN, our other YouTube channel. He's got to be stopped. I mean at the ballot box, but he's got to be stopped, Donald Trump. I just did an interview with Judge Ludick, Michael Ludick, that'll go up on the Midas Touch Network over the weekend. And he said point blank, if Donald Trump gets back or anywhere near the Oval Office, life as we know it in our Constitutional Republic will end. He will destroy the independence of the Department of Justice and

the FBI. He will weaponize it. He will go after his enemies. He will investigate and prosecute them, and he will jail them. And the list is long. I can't even think how big dimensionally the Trump internment camp would have to be to hold all of his enemies, including the press, the media, Biden, the Democrats, and the rest. And who's left? This is going to be the MAGA states. That's it. Twenty-three states siding with Donald Trump. We're back to another civil war. If Donald Trump gets power this way, and Donald Trump takes power this way, and Donald Trump exercises power this way, there's a civil war. That's a possibility. Not because I want it, not because I'm inviting it, but because people will have to stand up

for their rights that were given to us, God given to us by the United States Constitution. That's what it means to be a patriot. It's never red versus blue. It's red, white and blue. That person who suffers in a hurricane, that's your neighbor. That's your fellow patriot. That's your citizen or not. It's a human being. Where is the dignity man? Where is the humanity, the compassion? That flood that impacts your neighbor, that's your neighbor even if the politics aren't the same. A woman in need of reproductive health care, that's your mother, your sister, your aunt, your friend, your stranger that deserves your help and your helping hand. Don't say they should pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

A lot of people don't have boots to pull up by the straps. When you hear Donald Trump talk about suspending the Constitution, which is that what he just said, that was a code word. That wasn't even a dog whistle. That was a code word for I'm going to suspend the Constitution and I'm going to get back at all my enemies and all the black and brown people if you let me get anywhere near the White House. He's only doing that because he's emboldened by the United States Supreme Court, so they're to blame as much as we are. I mean, those that voted for him or are considering voting for him.
