Breaking news and in new reporting, there's a new Trump plot afoot to go after Barack Obama and try to prosecute him using the U.S. attorney in Miami, a guy by the name of Jason Redding Kinyonis in combination with, guess who, Judge Aline Cannon up in Fort Pierce, Donald Trump's favorite federal judge, the one that bailed him out of the Mar-a-Lago indictment, and the one who was on the short list for Donald Trump's attorney. General before he took office. She is the one that's going to preside over the grand juries up in Fort Pierce, Florida, 70 miles north of Miami, that apparently Jason Redding Cignonas is going to use federal prosecutors in his office are up in arms. It's new reporting from MSNBC, from the New York Times, and from the Miami Herald. I'm down in Miami. I stitch it all together for you right now and tell you what this plot means now that it's been called out. And a shadowy figure behind the

plot. A guy, a right-wing MAGA social media influencer, former Senate aide named Mike Davis, who you and I should never have to hear from. But instead, like a Laura Loomer, he picks out people within the Department of Justice, and he tries to be the iron fists to force them to prosecute the political enemies of Donald Trump and then brag about it on social media. I tie it all together for you right here on Midas Touch and on legal A.F. Let's get into it. The Southern District of Florida, where I practice, runs from Fort Pierce down through Key West. The U.S. attorney is Jason Redding Cignonas. Now, let's start there.

There's new reporting based on it from MSNBC that he pulled together a meeting of his major crimes unit within the Southern District of Florida, which consists of about 30 or 40 prosecutors, to try to hold them together and shake his fist at them because two prosecutors, career prosecutors quit because they weren't comfortable with the quote-unquote, quote, grand conspiracy that's being pushed by Donald Trump as the chief legal officer of America down the throats of the prosecutors. This whole thing is being run from main justice by Pam Bondi and by Donald Trump himself based on the reporting. And executive-level people, not career prosecutors, are issuing the subpoenas. There's 30 subpoenas that have been issued against

John Brennan, intelligence, head of the CIA, James Clapper, the head of the National intelligence community, Barack Obama, and others. And where, and what grand jury is being used, apparently? The one in Fort Pierce, and there's only one judge there, Aline Cannon. Now, let's go back to Kenyonas, Reading Kenyones. He holds this meeting among, among major crimes prosecutors try to hold them together, shake his fist, because two career prosecutors said, see ya, we quit. I've asked, if anybody knows them, don't out them here. But, have them get in contact with me if they're interested in coming on legal a. F or an interview because they are heroes in my book. The grand conspiracy in Donald Trump's mind is

that the Democratic Department of Justice FBI and intelligence community was looking at Donald Trump to see if he was being turned as an asset by the Russians. I mean, there's a lot of speculation that he was a Russian asset. There's speculation that Tulsi Gabbard, the head of the intelligence community for Donald Trump was a Russian asset or is a Russian asset. And so they were looking at how Russia was trying to help Donald Trump get elected in 2016. Newsflash, Donald Trump was elected in 2016, not Hillary Clinton. But, you know, Trump wants to use, he figured out he's in control of the Department of Justice. So he wants to use them.

And he has a willing pawn in Jason Redding-Kinionis, who used to be in the Air Force, who was a state court judge for one year. And here's Newsflash, according to Miami Herald. He worked in the major crimes unit as, a prosecutor in this office, but his reviews found that he was incompetent, and he actually filed a discrimination charge. He's Cuban-American, that he was being discriminated against because of his quote-unquote race. Cuban-American is not a race, by the way. But let's set that aside for a minute. And Jason Reddington, Jonas is white. In any event, he was an incompetent

who now heads the office. That's because Donald Trump doesn't care about competency. Look at Pam Bondi is Attorney General. Look at Lindsay Halligan, his Insta prosecutor, who'd never been a federal, who I don't think it'd ever been in federal court, let alone a federal prosecutor, when she took on his assignment to go indict James Comey and Letitia James.

We'll find out about that this week when Judge Curry decides whether she should be bounced. So Jason Redding Cignonas is friends with Mike Davis. Who's Mike Davis? He's a right-wing MAGA Laura Lumer type that tries to go after the political enemies of Donald Trump. The biggest threat to democracy and to put a bullseye on Trump. So as I've promised and as I will deliver, justice is definitely coming. So lawyer up because justice is definitely coming. Let me just say this to Big Tish James, the New York Attorney General. I dare you. I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term, because listen here, sweetheart, we're not messing around this time, and we will put your fat ass in prison for conspiracy against rights, and I promise you that. So think long and hard before you want to violate President Trump's constitutional rights or any other American's constitutional rights. It's not going to happen again.

We've been warning people on the show, Mike. This isn't the same Trump administration. stop messing around. Don't rig elections. Don't illegally vote. Don't try the funding business because we know the team this time and they are not effing around. So Mike Davis, as soon as these 30 subpoenas come flying out through the Southern District of Florida, Miami, he was encouraging apparently Donald Trump to use Miami as the base of operation and this Jason Redding Cignonas as the lead prosecutor to do his bidding. Right after that, Mike Davis posts on social media, justice is coming with a photo of him and a smiling Mr. Redding Kinyonis. Let's show that.

You think that indicates to the American public, to the public in Florida that you're fair and impartial, that you're not a political hack, that you're going to follow the Department of Justice Manual, that you're going to follow the principles of federal prosecution?

Is that what that shows? As you drive with your team 70 or 80 miles north up 95, to get to Fort Pierce, why don't you use a grand jury in Miami? You're going to drive? No, because Alien Cannon is not in Miami. She's a judge at a single one-horse courthouse where she's the only judge. Now, Alien Cannon, you may recall, is the only judge in 200 years that found that a special prosecutor or special counsel was improperly appointed by the Attorney General, in this case, Merrick Garland, and bounced the indictment as a result.

She also was publicly outed as being on the shortlist to be the Attorney General for Donald Trump before Matt Gates and before Pam Bonding. And yet she's never seen fit to recuse herself. She presided over the second guy that tried to assassinate Donald Trump on the golf course. She didn't recuse herself. She was, of course, appointed by Donald Trump. She, of course, bent over backwards to help him in Mar-a-Lago. At one point, she interfered with the prime.

prosecution before it even became an indictment and got slapped back twice by the 11th Circuit. So with the appearance of impropriety hanging over her heavy, you'd think she'd recuse herself and say, no, I don't want to be used as a political pawn. This looks terrible. I'm going to recuse myself and let it be randomly reassigned to some other judge in the Southern District of Florida. I can think of a couple, Judge Rosenberg, Judge Middlebrooks, up in West Palm Beach, if you want to stay up there. Dozens of judges down in Miami in 4,000. Lauderdale, pick a judge, just not named Aileen Cannon. But no, that's the purpose. Southern District of Florida, tippy tip top of the jurisdiction, which runs from Fort Pierce down to Key West,

is headed by one judge, just like it is in Key West, one judge, our name is Aileen Cannon, and that's why they're doing this. And they're trying to whipsaw the political enemies of Donald Trump between Cignonis, a Redding Cignonus, and Judge Alien Cannon. That's what they're doing. And Mike Davis is back, giving everybody a backbone. in a spine. Does it make anybody uncomfortable that he pulled together the U.S. attorney, a group of 30 career prosecutors to basically effectively warn them because he had two that left that said, I'm not doing this, I'm not prosecuting under some sweeping grand conspiracy theory, the political enemies of Donald Trump? They have courage. They have conviction and they support their oath that they

took to uphold the Constitution and under the Florida bar to be candid to the tribunal. to not bring cases that have no merit, to not abuse their power and their position, who's been signing the 30 subpoenas, the executive assistant U.S. attorney in the Miami office. That never happens. The line prosecutors, the ones assigned in the case to it, but no career prosecutor wants this case

because it's being run out of Washington. But they got Manuel Roboso to sign off. He signed it, right? Which is already violating policies within that office. So, what are we going to do about it? I think there needs to be public pressure on Alien Cannon to if she gets this case and when she gets this case, by supervising those grand juries up in Fort Pierce, that she immediately recuse herself. And if not, there should be a motion that's filed by somebody somewhere to have her disqualified.

And enough public pressure put on her in order to do that. In addition, there needs to be public pressure. We now need crowds and courage against Jason Redding Kenyones, who's not qualified for the position, who's just a political hack the way Lindsay Halligan was, slightly more qualified. At least he was in a federal court before to get him to stop him in his tracks. And I assure you, knowing the federal bench well in Miami in particular, and in West Palm Beach and in Fort Lauderdale, federal judges will push back against this Department of Justice being out of control. and they will be they will have the final word as will grand juries i'm not sure you get a fort pierce grand jury

to indict barraq obama i'm not sure you get a fort pierce grand jury to indict brennan or clapper or the rest only if you lie to them you might you might and then we're going to see what happens right now Donald trump said a world of hurt in the eastern district of virginia with an incompetent prosecution that's on life support and could likely be dismissed within the next 30 days against former FBI director James Comey and Letitia James and New York Attorney General. I don't think he's going to fare any better down in Miami. You know, the lawyering will outmatch Jason Redding Cignononis, the lawyers that will come to the rescue of these people.

And how dare he go after Barack Obama? There's reporting today that he actually retweeted or re-truthed somebody attacking Barack Obama as not being an American, that somebody wrote, oh, he put his hand on a Bible, he doesn't believe in, which is untrue, he's a churchgoer, he's not a Muslim, he used the name that's not his, I don't know, he went by Barry when he was a kid, and he wasn't bored of this country,

Donald Trump said, thumbs up, or back to the Bertha movement again, just really depraved. And the one thing that came out of the shutdown, I'll leave it on this, the one thing that came out of the shutdown, and the reopening, is that for once and for all, the mask has been ripped off of Donald Trump,

and people realize he does not have a heart. He's not even grinch with a tiny heart. He has no heart. And what do we do with heartless presidents? We send them packing at the midterm, special elections, and then we bounce their party at the 2028 election. As we watch the shadow president and shadow presidents like Gavin Newsom operate like a real president. That's a president.

That's a president with gravitas, with intellect, with maturity, who's an adult, who has a heart, who has compassion, who's smart, and knows how to run an economy. Checks all the boxes for me. I mean, there's other people. We'll go through a primary. We're not going to go through that thing we did last time where we just sort of pick it without a primary. We'll have a primary. But this is the time that we need to call out these kind of plots against America. So until my next report, I'm Michael Popok.
