Well, apparently, Congressman Al Green, who was dragged from the House when he shouted, you don't have a mandate to cut Medicaid, was right because we have a new report by the Congressional Budget Office, which is a nonpartisan independent group that evaluates budget issues for Congress, that has told MAGA Congress and Trump in no uncertain terms that they'll never reach their $1.3 trillion budget cut number to pay for Donald Trump's tax cuts for the wealthy and his deportation program for immigration without cutting into Medicare, Medicaid, and children's health

insurance program. There's just no way to do it. And we know there's no mandate for the American people and the poorest of Americans, mainly in red states, to give up their Medicaid and Medicare that gives them dignity concerning their healthcare decisions. I'm Michael Popak. You're on Midas Touch Network and Unlegal AF. Let's get to the bottom of it. Donald Trump is trying to lead Congress into approving a $1.5 trillion budget cut of existing services among all of the various branches of government, meaning hardest hit would be those that are under the Commerce Department and the Energy

Department. The problem is there's not enough spending or budget items under those two departments to come anywhere close to the $1.5 trillion he apparently needs Trump in order to pay for his immigration program and for his tax cuts for the wealthy. We know the answer. He shouldn't be giving tax cuts to the wealthy. He certainly shouldn't put an additional burden and tax on our poorest and most disadvantaged Americans as a result. So Frank Pallone, who I know well, he's a congressperson from my particular hometown

where I grew up in New Jersey. Frank Pallone is the ranking Democrat on both the energy and the commerce committees or the committee that was responsible for it. And he had the Congressional Budget Office, the CBO, do its own independent analysis. This is different than the office of management, the Congressional Office of management and budget,

that's led by the rightist of right wing, Russ Vought, who was one of the fathers of project 2025. This is the office of management and budget. And they said, you got a couple of problems with your math, your math doesn't work. That under commerce and energy, there's only, they've been ordered to cut $880 billion from their programs, but there's only $330

billion under their auspices. So where are you going to get the other $500 billion from? It's missing. Mike Johnson likes to look the American people in the eye and lie to them and say, we'll just get rid of fraud and waste and we'll tighten up eligibility so that people can't get into these programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and Children's Health Insurance Program,

which has universal bipartisan support. By the way, all democratic programs that support in many instances, red state, rural and poor America. 70 million people, 70 million people rely on Medicaid alone for their health insurance. And more than that, hundreds of millions of people, 70 million people rely on Medicaid alone for their health insurance. And more than that, hundreds of millions of people, 65 or 62 and older rely on Medicare.

And I haven't even talked about one of the ways that the Biden and Obama administration took children out of poverty was to give them healthcare and to lower infant mortality rates as a result. So the math doesn't add up, which means the only way they could ever reach when you're missing a billion dollars, a trillion dollars or close to it,

what do you start looking at? Medicare, Medicaid, self-security. That's why they dragged the guy with a cane out who was speaking the truth at the joint session of Congress. That's why they dragged him out because he was talking truth to power. You know, that's the that is the dirty little secret of the Trump administration. They talk about we're going to have a brighter future. We're going to build a bridge to a new a new economy. It It's gonna be driven by AI and Bitcoin and Elon Musk and all, we're gonna bring internet by satellite to rural America, none of that's gonna happen. And if they do it, it's gonna make the poor poorer and the rural more rural in America. And that mainly means red states.

That's why there are red state voters who want their vote back. And now you can see why, because the failed already 46, 47 days into the administration, the failed policies of Donald Trump are not falling equally on the blue states and the red states. It's mainly hurting the red states. When he fires veterans and veterans affairs people, you know, 60,000, 10,000 here and there undermining our support for veterans in every way, shape and form.

That falls disproportionately on red states as well, because a lot of veterans retire to or live in red states. Donald Trump doesn't care. He's a phony populist. He's not a populist. He's a mega capitalist. That all he cares about in a Darwinian fashion is the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, right?

And the strong survive and the weak die. There's no other way to put it. So now what's Mike Johnson gonna do? You can't, I mean, you're gonna fudge the numbers? I get that the Commerce Department and the Energy Department were charged with trying to find $880 billion to the cup, but how can they do that if there's only $330 billion

underneath their administration? So the Democrats are doing their part, right, to ensure that America gets transparent information about this. The tax cuts, if they are approved, will be off the back of the poorest and middle class Americans. There's no way around it.

And what they're gonna hope for is, if they give the tax cut, there'll be more investment and more jobs. We already have a booming job creation market that Donald Trump inherited from Joe Biden. It was already cranking, it was already fixed. Now it's broken. Now it's broken. Now it's broken.

And I guess the takeaway from this particular hot take is your Medicare, your Medicaid, your health insurance for children is not safe. And you need to go to these town halls, all those town halls that the Republicans are canceling under orders from their leadership, do a Facebook Live, do a tele-haul. Don't actually go and meet your constituents, you cowards.

You cowards. You work for them, you work for us. You work for the people in the room in that town hall. You're supposed to stand there and listen to good and welfare from these people about what they want you to accomplish in your time in Washington. That's why Congress people have two year terms

that make them really responsive and accountable to the American people. And you're running away and you're hiding in Washington. How do you, and how do you punish them for that? You throw the bastards out at the next election. All of Congress, throw all the house out with ours next to their name at the next election. I'm tell you who's not dodging down all his Democrats. I never thought I'd see the day that a Republican would so quickly unite the Democrats, unite the Democrats in all

their wings to help the American people. Listen to me. There's only one way for Donald Trump to give tax cuts to the wealthy and to deport through the military and other ways, the millions of people chasing them through churches and hospitals. There's only one way to do it. And that's looking at your Medicare, my Medicare, your Medicaid and your social security and disability payments is no other way around it.

There's not enough fraud in and waste in the American government. That was what the inspector's generals were for that Donald Trump fired. They were supposed to root out fraud and waste and they were doing that. So in other words, there's not that much change left in the couch to go searching through.
