Welcome to Legends of Evandris. I'm Iris and you're listening to Beneath Dark Wings. Here's what happened last time. How will you banish the chaos that there were weapons forged by the genie to battle these creatures? These are the windseeker blades. Genies have always been creating great weapons for as long as our species has existed. But I did not know about these tempest slain swords. I may know of one possible option.

There is a great collector, a cloud giant, Nbansi. You are the ones that are coming to my home asking for my item I may or may not have. I am so bored, excitement in my life would be great. I take a look at my enormous penis and the happy times are coming my way. I have what you're looking for. And I think I might sweeten the deal. I am going to let you take a look around. As promised.

You then, in order to stop time out, Kira, Lufty's mother, teleported you all to the elemental plane of air, where you then went to the eternal veil of Aca, which was, allegedly the prime area where these wind dukes ruled over over their people called the Vati, who you discovered were basically resting eternally in stasis, waiting for the wind dukes return. And it was timeless, no time passed, and everything seemed pristine. It was almost like a natural paradise in this elemental plane of air. You then learned that through these ancient chambers, that there was a, there were,

series of magical weapons for her to destroy elder tempests called the wind-seeker blades. And Alpira's guessed where there may be one, and it was with the clouded giant Nimbonsi, a kleptor and a trickster of sorts, very proud and vain. You all went to his castle, and in order to get it, you actually decided to tell him stories. And after you decided to tell him stories, you promised to be the great barns that would tell of the glorious patron who had saved the world from the Elder Tempest, and you would sing his story and make him renowned even more influential than the storm giants of a ventress, which was very palatable to him.

With that, uh, you then, uh, got teleported back to the, the primaries. material plane in the center of Kaliri next to be large a spinning massive almost a tuning forks spinning around arcing with lightning and as you all teleported in this large central platform you saw chaos all around the city was already falling through massive bursts of of seeming wind or sonic energy and you saw people flying dying and all around you however they're also crying and they're crying the city's in absolute chaos and you looked over the tree line often the distance, you can see the massive shape of the Elder Tempest bearing down on you.

And that is where it will begin today's century. How fast is it moving? Do we think that it'll be upon us in like a minute? It'll be upon you probably about like three minutes. I am taking every spare second that I can with parchment and ink to sketch this machine as best I can and commit it to memory. Okay. The tuning fork, everything.

I'm trying to take as much time as I can. and everything else. You do that, and as Felix is doing this, you all look ahead at the massive creature, and you actually see a swarm of dozens, maybe over a hundred soldiers, flying directly toward this massive tempest as it looms closer, beating its four massive storming wings,

and with a crack of thunder and a flash of lightning, just feathers and blood remain. As they all fall, and the battalions behind them immediately turn around and begin diving back into the city. You see that some evacuations are underway. Others are refusing to leave their homes. The city is an absolute chaos.

There's fear on every single Eryococca all around you. Is everybody already? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The minute. I just need time. I don't have much time. And from my bag, I'm going to pull out one vial that's all kind of cloudy and another that is sparking with lightning, and I will down both.

I'm drinking a potion of thunder resistance and a potion of lightning resistance. I would. Man, I would. What do you fucking want? I use my bonus action to change my armor into a t-shirt about extra large. And it says, I met him Nimbonsi. And all I got was a slutty's T-shirt.

as they're all channeling magic into this thing, trying to keep it under control as pulses in and out. And as they're all doing this, you hear the flapping of wings and a, I believe it was a snowy, or no, a brown owl flies, Arakova flies in front of you. And you see a face that you recognize. It's Ovaros Minerva, the young lord, the son of the woman who had her throat cut. and he looks at all of you just, where have you open? You must get out of the city. I mean, we're trying to protect this.

This explodes. The whole city would be destroyed. What is this? This is the core of the city. This is the power. This is the source of our people's power. This is the connection to the elemental plane of air. And he points to the machine.

He pointed to the massive machine that is spinning around. What do you mean? It's a core? Like an energy generator? What is it? Yes, it's a source of. power and magic of pure lightning and storm energy. It is how we've lived so comfortably for centuries.

And if this tree goes down, then the shockwave will wipe out more than even that beast can. Shit out of here. We can handle this. We will stop it. We'll protect it. Are you certain? Yes. Please, leave now.

She looks down and she unsheets the windseeker blade that's swirling with energy and you can get the sense that is almost vibrating

in the direction of the massive beast that's bearing down on you. And she looked down and says, Are you ready, daughter? Yeah, I think I am. You can all fly, let's go. Oh, that's right. I'm not sure five.

I'm totally forgot. That's right. I wouldn't have been able to cast anything that would take one of the three minutes. Correct. Okay, that's fine. Okay. You all leap into the air and fly and you burst above the tree line and you see that the bird now has descended below. You have to dive back down. And as you fly through, you're dodging these massive trees all around you.

And it's not quite at the city. You are flying as fast as you can with Alkira at the lead. And you see it had almost just living storm clouds barreling through. Trees are cracking and falling. Lightning is striking everywhere. Trees that are not part of the city are burning as far as you can see. And you see, you hear a rumbling voice as six eyes point in the six of you. You will not be the saviors of the traitors.

They will die and I would kill you now. and as you all get closer and closer you see the massive sickening beak it's almost razor sharp on either side almost jagging as you see the owl taking form the storm pulsing inside of it as the wings beat and you hear finally he says the storm is descending upon you

I am dead let's go for initiative let's go over everything Oh, it's the big reveal. As you fly, getting in a clash through the forest, you hear the crackling of thunder and the radiating, zapping, a zapping, crackling sound of lightning, as beans of lightning going as far as you can see

into the storm above, and crackling on the ground, rather than dissipating, they are staying. The blue. Massid pillars of lightning. Oh, man. A massive barrier of lightning energy

and slices into it. And as soon as the blade hits, you see the integrity of this storm just pulse as it starts to lose shape and then it has to focus as the owl storming as each hit with the blade seem to be disrupting the form, and you see the storm within is starting to weaken.

It is clearly weakening this massive beast. And you see a bit of surprise, six red massive eyes, and he says, what are you doing? And then that is her turn, and then that is Noah's now.
