These creatures are sniffing around, their eyes wide and mad, and you see a crumpled mass of clothing. blood and flesh.

kingdom is ensconced in mountain ranges, and there's one called the serpent spine mountains that effectively bisectively bisecting there's a large valley on the northern side where to go around, you basically need to pass all the way around. There's a long road that separates, that goes towards the inner kingdom from the broader outer kingdom, and you get the sense that's probably where the horn legions are going all the way north around the mountains. So I relay all of that, but would I be confident that it's something that we could do?

Or would I be like... You would know that is absurdly treacherous. And many, many Korvokians went in the occupation and the battles and all of that. Many Korvokians die in the certain spot. I really exactly that. I feel like that's unfortunate. I think we can play Ravali, we can put in my pit. She's really good in the mountains.

I think she can take care of it. I think that's a great idea. I mean, I know that Ravali doesn't want to be a burden, but I don't think that he will be. you and you see at these, the the land gets more and more treacherous. There are more twists and turns about rocks and through crags. And you see, finally, several stone steps carved into the mountain, almost out of nowhere.

And you see a strange stone what almost looks like a brazier next to him. And he stops the goat. And he points. That'll take you to the pass. Wash out for Yetis.

Harpies. Cold. And I guess, beasts. Okay, never mind. Is there a fork at any point that we keep left, and we keep right? You follow that.

Use your best instincts. You'll make it there. Would I have heard of a Yeti? I would say... I'm a city boy. Yeah, probably not. Probably. Probably.

And with that, you begin to make your way, taking the very first steps, you all go up, and you realize that there are 100 steps exactly stone, until it goes up to uncharted, some rocky, treacherous territories, you begin to make your way towards. the Krasang Pass. the path is not too super narrow, and you feel like you're able to follow a, a not easily travel, but very clear pathway up these mountains. And as it gets colder, you arrive, you see something as the snow

actually begins to start falling on you. And the wind begins to howl, and you start to see this, your feet begin to crunch into the snow, and you actually see, as you make your way up this mountain, something

behind a large rock almost buried in the snow and the earth and it seems to be sticking out about two feet and it seems to be bits of metal.

What do you do? Guys, may if I go take a look? I mean, it's not obvious to what it is. Not immediate from this rate, yeah. Just be careful, please. Don't get too close. If anything seems off, just don't get any closer.

Aravon, the symbol of Koravakia. Seems to be a supply cart. You know, do you mind coming to take a look at this? I'm going to hoist it out of the snow, and I'm going to try and yank it out of the bank or whatever it's stuck. And is it, like, crashed or is it, like, covered in? No.

It is definitely, you see a bit of like metal and like ancient rotting wood. It seems to be like bits of metal in frame with like tiny fragments of wood remaining. So it's like I'll run up and as best I can. It's not splintered, but at least the very like, just fragments of wood still connected. Okay.

So, you know, it's war. It's just constant war always. Maybe it's something good we can use under the snow. Maybe, I mean, but it'd be decades and decades and decades old. As it's seen as if you continue digging and you see what looks like the morbo, the skeleton of a horse, clearly not made for this kind of climate or altitude. That sounds about right.

They probably just got caught in some snowstorm or something. I don't know, 30, 40 years ago. Who knows? No, is there any remnants of rags or a bag or anything that? So you see splinters of wood and crates. And you probably see that the way that this was designed and the framing was probably delivering food. Okay. And as if it was delivering food to somewhere up this pass.

No ropes on the skeleton or any? It's basically it's tattered. It's very, very, very old. I mean, I guess this is a slightly good news. If there's some sort of base camp or a place higher up in the mountains where they would restock and refuel, we might have a place to get refuge if things get too bad. We're to reach in and grab the symbol of the Raven Queen and I'll kind of check it lightly at Felix. I don't know.

It could come in handy if we need to give someone else a badge. Does it look identical to the ones that we have? Has it like... It looks an older design. I'll definitely an older design. All right. And you see that on this little overlook, there is a shaped, carved stone. And there actually seem to be some ropes tied around, some little strange tags with writing on them. How far away is this? probably about 30 feet up the path on this little overlook and we've never seen anything like this before now

I'll go take a look and I'll march up for it I know I just said this but do you see the tags? Do I see the tags? Yeah, you can hear it. Classic magic shit please be careful do you want to take a look at it?

and as you look around you see the darkness there's no moon it's there's a slight white of the snow and the dark clouds

and the wind is whipping your long hair around. But you don't feel a bit of cold. You feel comfortable. You feel cold. And you look to the right where you came. You see the bit of the horn from around the bend of where you had slain the Yeti. But you're not cold there. You look to the left past the guard tower. You see a very narrow bit of snow-covered ledge it seemed to go along the mountain further up. You feel like

it's calling you. And you hear the wind now. But it's not howling and cacophonous. It's just slight... And you feel like you hear your name. Caprice. Caprice. Caprice. It's... You feel compelled This was fine when you just showed up. I'll start to make my way and follow the voice up through this narrow path. You follow and you walk along and although it's snow and it should be slippery and you should have to balance and maybe a gust would take you.

You walk very easily step by step alongside this cliff face going up into the mountains. until you're standing at a very small ledge, and there's a sheer drop-off, hundreds, maybe thousands of feet below you, as the wind whips all around you, and you feel a pole, that same pole, the light wind. Now, coming from above, caprice, caprice, caprice, as you look up and you see far up, hundreds of feet, tiny outcropping near the very top of this mountain that you're standing on. You see that that's where you have to be. That's where you need to be.

But you can't climb there. But you need to get there. I start to fly using my bow's ability to fly up to the top of the cleft face. As you play this tune, once again, it feels like you're in an intimate, small, uh, Small dining room as you're playing this, like you had done plenty of times, as the music fills you, you feel yourself getting lifted up. You fly upwards, and the peak of the mountain, the very tip, is getting closer and closer. And you see this small platform ahead that seems to look, seems to face south, and is covered in snow. and you land

as you feel the crunch of the snow beneath you. The wind is howling all around you, but it's not unpleasant. And you see that you look down and there is a corpse. Preserved,

decomposing, but still preserved. Three harpies. Dead, some covered in ice. Strange feathers around them. Strange wooden feet. that is half buried in snow. You see some wings, some talons all gyrated around the very near peak of the mountain. But on the very edge of the ledge seems to be totally covered in snow.

You see the top of something made of stone. And it seems to be just the very, very top, a crown, just the crown of something, seemed to be fully almost submerged in stone, a submerge in stone. a submerge in snow, and you feel the need that you need to dig this out. I'm not cold. I'll just make sure that my view all is secure and safe underneath my arm, and I'll immediately start to work my way as quickly as I can through this mound of snow to see if I can unearth some trick or I'm expecting to, for lack of better word, see my paper.

You begin to dig, and it's, calls you, caprice, caprice, caprice. You begin to dig and dig and suddenly you feel what you have to, you're clawing and you have to, you're, and you're, and you're, as we realize, you're uncovering a statue. And almost the, the fervor that you feel to get rid of the snow, you're shoving it off, it's falling thousands of feet down below as you stand on this precipice, completely bathed in the wind. As you grab, a pile of pile of snow until standing in front of you is a statue, a stone statue of a humanoid shape. It seems to be statuesque, muscular, and man.

You see as down in its legs seem to end in it. clawed bird-like talents where feet would be. You see that muscular legs rise up to another muscular torso to two arms, claw-tipped hands are arranged, one in a grasping motion, the right hand up, the left hand down. You look up as a muscular, chest past that you see a pair of wings rising to the sky,

another pair of wings pointing down to the earth below. And you then look up, you see a bird-like head on this humanoid body, a sharp, jagged, feral beak, and sits in the level of eyes staring back at you. You look down as you step back, and you see the base of the statue are three sets of abyssal letters. And you can read it. It's the same word repeated three times. Pazuzu.

No! Pazuzu. Has, um... Has more than ten minutes gone by? Uh, I would say no. And suddenly, you feel like you should be here. You, and then suddenly once you read, Pizzou, Pizzou, Pizzou, Pizzu, Pizzu,

suddenly you realize you're standing at the top of the mountain. You are absolutely freezing as the wind is howling all around you. You are frigid, you're shaking. You realize now that you're thousands of feet up. What do you know? Do I see the statue? The statue is still standing there, but the snow begins the decoompson.

Where I still have my veal and... Yep. If I can, can I still fly? Yeah. I immediately attempt to fly back down to the watchtower as quickly as I can. You fly, you're rushing. The wind is howling all around you. You're freezing cold as you almost get blown around,

not smash into the rock, but you barely able to make it. You reach down and takes all of your strength, several attempts to pry the door open. It closes behind you with a loud slam. as it laches into place. And the fire is crackling. Hear your friend's breathing. Look down.

I thought maybe it was connected to the fact that we had had our whole conversation about abyssal just before sleeping, but it didn't feel like I was making it up in my brain. Three names. The same name three times. And it's a name. You're sure it's a name. It's not a word in Abyssal that I know. Don't repeat it. That's what I'm not doing right now.

That wall should slow them down at the very least Do you see any sign of them? I don't think they made it around On the north side of the range yet We've made a good time I wouldn't say it was that good But we moved quickly and I'm getting some serious deja vu when we last approached a city with you

in order to stop a horrible horde from assaulting the walls of that their civilization. Some things never change. Let's make sure this is the last. Yeah. Yeah. Well done.

Wings of Liberty. And you eventually arrive back down as the... It's like being at sea for an incredibly long amount of time and stepping on solid ground, being off of the elevation. You have to take some time to disorient.

You manage to... You can't. very close to the mountain range and get another long rest. And you begin to travel. Oh, okay. You begin to travel on a long journey as you see villages of,

you see villages of works, and you try to stay away from civilization. And luckily, there are large rocks and dips in valleys. The terrain not dissimilar to the Stout Main Highlands, where you had the first, encountered Kirsteim. But these are, you see the rolling

farmland, great, great, verdant fields, and you're used to orcs being raiders and pillagers. Having them have farms and marching around in regiment doesn't seem quite like them, but it seems to be a level

of calm. But once again, the watchful hawks still soar overhead. And eventually you make it to a road. You can see far, you haven't seen anything, no sign of life. It seems as if there are some motions heading towards the walls as towns begin to evacuate.

As you know that the, that Kargash had said, the outer kingdom was being, much of it was being evacuated to the inner kingdom behind the great walls. And you begin to take this opportunity. Ravali suggests to take the road. And you begin to make, your way as you reach a patch where it's quite treacherous and quite shaky. And the terrain is

very rough and uneven. And even Peyton kind of is slipping with her dexterous ability. And you see that this would definitely be rough terrain for carts, despite it being a road, for carts and vehicles to be. And you see bits, a barrel that had rolled off of a cart, bits of grain, a sack of grain. And you see bits of metal. And Hersia, there's something that catches your eye. A bit of metal as you turn around the bend that seems to be,

look like an axe sticking up out of the earth. It looks vaguely familiar. You immediately run over to it. And as you all stop and you're around helping her to pull this axe out, you see, this is looks familiar. It's unmistakable. You look around.

This is unmistakably. The craftsmanship. And you see, the sigil of anvil and arms. Anvil and alms, as you see an axe made by Torvald Anvilheart.

And as you're all looking around, you're distracted, and you hear a low growl in a lower. And you look around, and you realize you're surrounded. Mounting huge

saber-toothed white tigers is a group of heavily armored horse. And that's one in the second. No! No! Fuck! Oh shit! They totally have you dead. I can't feel what happening.
