There's a faint, purplish. or rather a faint bluish, a deep blue and maybe a faint gold glow coming from the door beyond. And used to see his body staring up.

What could have done that? I think that was the Gorka Bresher. I was going to ask if you thought this might be your friend. Do you think it was? Does it look clearly like it was a weapon? It is clean as hell. And you know his rapier is incredibly sharp and makes very clean cuts. Yeah, that makes sense.

I don't know if this necromancer was attempting to get here when your friend Escher ambushed him. I don't know. This kind of stuff makes me a little hesitant.

And you look down, you see the hallway that there's many doors on this way. during this whole way that seem to be kind of that have this faint shimmer of a dark some dark purple some dark blues some silhouring grades is it been like an hour since we left the room would this constitute a short list um i would say that you've been not quite an hour no no 14 it's probably about probably about 45 minutes though you're almost there 14 15 15 14 15 14 15 14 15 20. 20.

driving our little wagon. There was a like a coffin type of operation in the wagon and she was escorted by a variety of beasts. She had one of these after we fought and killed her and her beast friends and inside the coffin was what

we found out was presumably a potential child that they thought might be the Raven child. And before we discovered that out of the chest of this same necromancer woman just like this rogue's gentleman here he was one of these scurrots popped out and started to burrow just like this they they seem to be doing it willingly we know we don't have any more answers aside from that from what I know it's either a mark or maybe some sort of

controlling creature or something we don't really know it could be an arcane focus or something that amplifies their power it could be a way for them to communicate with each other. It could be a way for them to be controlled. If this has anything to do with the destruction of a seal. You know about the seals? Talking about it, maybe it was Krishnak. It ludes me now, but it was, I don't know of any more seals, except that something to do with the Ravenchild and the destruction of the seals.

Or a seal. I've never seen anything like this before. Well, by the way it's dead, we need to keep an eye on case that there are any more of those dead ones. They're probably going to be more of these beetles. It just concerns me about how many of these things could be in the living Shatter-Kai. Is it only the Necromancers? Is it everybody's at their whole army? I don't know.

I guess we can't know until we learn more. I speculate it's a necromancer specific thing. I think that's starting to feel like the pattern. You said this. All the warlocks who serve them have Anketep's power, yeah? That was what Grishnak came to... Told you. Tell us is that Vorok centuries ago

And you see as they have these adornments around them that seem to have skulls and this bright blue gem and a gold inlay on each of these. And you just see they're in the walls, and they just rise up, and they're just placed all around the entire room.

It's relatively small, but very tall ceilings. You've never seen anything like this before. Or any of them glowing or anything? They're all glowing. It's just a glow from the gem and from the gold. And it's adorning around in a circular band pattern about the midsection of these jars, each with their own lid, and you see that there's also

a skull adornment on top of the lid. Would I have known about any of this from being in Iris's homeland? Let's do religion. See how much you pay attention? their glass at you or welcome or say how are you they don't seem to be you they don't seem to be put off they don't necessarily recognize you as you get the sense that this this whole kingdom is very spread out and you're not sure how long these people go between seeing other other nobles and you see also in these strange grotesque outfits, these short shambling ghouls that hold up trays, covered in drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and as you make your way into a grand ballroom, absolutely massive. The party space that you had seen in Irios was not even this large, as it stretches all around with this beautiful murals and paintings all around. It's the bright, you know, room that you've seen, but still very dim for a normal party, given these are all

dust elves, and they're used to dim light. And you see that there's absolutely massive banquet tables and large punch bowls and all these strange different colors. All the food seems not anything that you've eaten before, but almost approximations. And you see a little shambling ghoul. It seems to be a lot smaller, perhaps a small, one of the smaller races that had been turned and you hear a voice, Artures as it approaches you, as it shambles up to offer you, uh, hors d'oeuvres if you care to. You see the stairs have crumbled away, and you see that there's thick, white and gray webbing. on the walls, you hear the skittering

of insects. And you look, these aren't insects. These are huge spiders. This might not be the time to see this, but I'm arachnophobic. You hear a... They're worse than spiders. Do you see spiders just like...

They're sculptural. Turn like perfectly on a center or central axis, inexplicably. As you see very hot up, Further away from the party behind you, you see what looks like a landing with crumbled, with a broken, perhaps once was a stair, a bridge. But there's a door behind it. Looking surprisingly gilded and beautiful from the glimpse, you can see way high up.

And what's strange, you see at the floor of this, you see staked into the ground these large ruse and where there were windows that have since been bricked up. You see rows and rows and rows of large perches and giant vultures waiting. And at the very center, just standing. tilted, you see what looks like a ghoul of some kind. But, oh, wait, it's not a ghoul. It seems to be a creature, an abomination. He's got large, clubby hands, short stubby legs and clubby feet. And from his back, he's grafted up the wings of giant bats and a strange tail and a large jaw and two teeth coming up.

And it looks like the strange, looks a little familiar. It looks like a horrible fleshcraft version of Major Domo Brutus. Ooh. As it stands there, it just stands at the center of this tower, almost ringed by giant vultures, all wearing hoods with the patches over their eyes, which you would know, Zellick would be to keep them, you know, calm and to put them to sleep. And they can basically stay effectively immobile indefinitely, given the breeding that's been going on in magical enhancements. This horrible majordomo thing, is it moving or is it like stone still?

It's kind of moving and it's like shifting back and forth. It's got a tilted head. And you get the sense, and I would say it's not very difficult to piece together. that there are no stairs. Perhaps the princess doesn't need stairs. But for those who do need to get to whatever is beyond, for important folk that need to meet with the princess, that there is basically a taxi service from the base of the tower up,

But even though they are large, they're still, you know, birds. I would step up and hop into the saddle of the first vulture. Okay, you do that. As you're able to grab the reins, you know that's all too well, and you're able to pull up and basically you feel like you have full mastery over this beast. And I would say that you would notice how this happened, Salick. I look down and shout down and say, be confident. Calm yourself. They can feel your hesitation. Are you talking to me, the vulture? immediately yank it, and you see its big bill dive down, and you dive bomb, and as Lifty is slow falling down, you manage to swoop her up and catch her into your arms as you, as you manage to snatch her, as all of your vultures, one by one, drop you off, and you're all able to arrive at that landing. And once the vulture drop you off, they look like, and then take off and fly a circle back down to their purges. I don't know what was wrong with that stupid bird. I kicked it as hard as I could. chilling you a bit. As you get the sense that not too many people come through here. And as you stay on the landing, it's probably about 20 feet to the door. And you see, you had seen that it had been gilded and ornately carved, and you see now a familiar sight. The same symbol. that had been carved on Ravanaueva's door in Castle Romagna is now carved here. A perfect replica, but even more brilliant and regal and flashy.

Are they all life size? They all seem to be life size, but not the size of an adult, but the size of a child.

And as you look through the space, you hear... groaning throughout. There's a low groaning. As you see, as all of these toys move, and as you look, you realize that it's not a bear. It's not a horse. That's not a doll. These are children.

Some fuse together to form whatever sort of strange, slumped marionette. You see as there's a full train of warped flesh, the wheels's hands and feet shifted into horrible disks of flesh. As you approach, and it actually seems, the ceiling seems to go up, as it looks like a castle, a castle playset, but life size. Not obviously a light-sized, castle, but much more larger than life. And as you approach, you see bits of polished wood flickering in the, Flickering in the darkness, catching the light.

And as you approach, you see what looks like on either side of the door in front of the gargoyles. You see what looks like a child that's been twisted and shaped into what looks like some sort of vampire holding a goblet with large black hair. and a red dress, a woman in a Victorian bustle dress on the other side. You see what looks like some sort of reptilian face stretched out wearing a hood. You see a red skin with fleshy horn stretching up with what looks like a hat perhaps might be from Yona. And you see a one wearing a top hat. You can see it's a caper's a flash. as a stretch and they move.

And you see now as this castle rises up into a large circular dome at the end of this hallway. You see that the wood, that as you make your way through, you hear the moans and the pleading of these children. But once we're children, you see row after row small child-sized coffins. all up within this castle. And what do you do? And you see that basically, you're passing a lot of these normal toys, marionettes, and the like. What do you do? And so you see this, all this castle play set that seems to all be part of the same general set.

I feel like I'm pretty preoccupied by these horrific children's toys. Are the coffins the same as the one that we got, uh, Velasca from? Very simple. Very simple. Those are the same coffins that we found. I think we should maybe check to see. This is monstrous. Yeah.

I know we need to check on Sophia. Something's moving up there. I can't see what it is. Do you have an estimate of how far away it is? I mean, you probably get the sense that the... probably 60-ish feet, but I guess it'd be like any 40 to 60 feet. I don't know. Yeah, you might be a sped.

You look up. You see into the magical darkness and you see a large, what looks like a bird cage hanging from the center of the tower. And it's kind of creaking back and forth as in the throes of this battle now actually being able to hear this and you hear, oh, it's a large bird cage suspended in darkness like that creature. Sit too see what it is?

I mean, it sounds like a raven or something. Not from this angle. I can only see the bottom of the cage. See the parts of it tries to

scratch out or claw out. All right, all right. You guys, you guys check on Sophia. We're going to keep

as you see what looks like a, it's a large creature covered in black raven's feathers, two heads coming from its neck, large black beaks shimmering with silver, its eyes especially a glow, as its wings are tied down. As it kind of hobbles forward, you see this strange creature,

as it blinks all four eyes and then looks at you with all four of them as you rise up. Some kind of culture, what is this? Seems to be almost. Raven in nature. She mentioned that allegiance to the Raven Queen reason that she'd killed those children. Maybe some nomination of a pet? Do I, I mean, do I... You look.

And then you hear a voice come out from one of the heads. Oh, shit. Brother. I would lose concentration on my spell. You all both fall into the ground. As you collapse. I guess that would be however much. I'll tell you what you both take.

As it crashes, as it crashes to the ground, the metal of the cage splinters open and you see as this large, raven-like creature with these long avian heads kind of shamble out

and you see one of the heads look towards the corpse of Sophiana and one look towards you and you're, I will run to the head that is saying brother and embrace them and continue to solve and apologize. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I wasn't strong enough. I was too slow. I'm sorry. Oh, are you sure this is... Maybe this is a trick, you know, set up by Ravanaughia. Ravinovia doesn't deal with tricks. It's horrors.

with hints of silver and white alongside. And you can kind of see as you look in these silvery eyes that are peering out, they actually seem to be human. These human-like eyes that are looking at you. I'm going to run back into the chamber. You said that there was a variety of

apparatus, that there's something of like a laboratory there. Yeah, and it's covered in webbing and from the destruction. The groundswere to rumble a little bit more. It was another block falls. Iris, I want to thank you so much for trying. I don't know what to do. I don't know if we can take them with us. I mean, there must have been a reason for this.

They're canon here. The Raven Child. I immediately start tearing through every nook of this room that might have books or something in it. Something written down by her. You do that. And I want to just collect every fucking book that I find. You start grabbing the books, grabbing the apparatus,

grabbing chemicals, and trying to think. If it looks like it's something that's been specifically put into a mortar and pestle or into a piece of paper or something, I'm grabbing it and trying to grab that ammo. And then an idea comes to me, and I hand what I can toa and immediately run back to Felix. I don't know how long we have in this castle. It might be some sort of transformation.

As the ground starts to shake more and more in Toa, as you are rifling through, you see a glow of a ghastly green. As you see a roon at the floor and then another and another start to go up the length of this room. As it begins to shake, I'm throwing as many books I can in the bag of holding. Just one at a time.

I'm going to attempt to polymorph the creature. The aberration that we now know to be potentially your brother and Sophia's daughter. I'm going to attempt to use that magic to turn it into... I need everyone to make, except for Iris, to make a wisdom saving through a disadvantage. We have advantage because of Hero's Feast, so it should just be a normal. I must have like me a double. Except for all, I'll do it a disadvantage.

And you hear a... You hear a... of magic. As you look around and you see, as this raven child was looking around... Oh, brother! As the castle rumbles. and in this poof next to it, you hear... Shame about the princess, but I have the alchemy to traverse the mist,

and now I can get to hurricane with my dear associate's car. We are on our way, and vengeance shall be mine. So truly, I know that this will be a final painful moment. painful moment for you as we traveled through the mist as we speak. But truly, and he strokes the head, each of the heads of this raven shot. I must thank you for bringing everything I needed to me. I would shout out ascension of Prusnia. 24. That's pretty big. 24. You crash down as you fly, as you see. Although you are peaked. paralyzed and pulled against the wall as this entire castle rumbling and shaking, the glowing of the alchemical ruins. The massive Ravens blade, now thinning, shortening.

You see four wings on either side, slices down Vorok. He's completely taken by surprise. Oh, look! As he stumbles back away from the Raven Child. As the Raven Child is terrified and slinks back, and you see as he follows up with a step into the chest of the raven, of the carrying king. And as he stabs, then you see pestilence pouring

from every mouth, his eyes, his ears. And as he holds, you see, you hear a loud, and then as you see, you see the skin tone start to change. You see the hair color, this hair grow longer, the elven ears shrinks back. As you see, an older human man, as Virgil Zern is plunging his body. plunging his blade into the,

he's just like, he's like, you may have done terrible things, Vorak, but you have no idea how much you've had saving existence as, as Vorok stumbles back off the blade and in a, in a horrified squawk, he moves his hands very quickly, as he zips away.

And as the castle, as the castle, as the castle, suddenly, and you realize at this point, that the castle has come to a complete stop and collapsed inward, and sunlight blares in from the collapsed roof. A massive

radiating sun, as you see Zern standing tall, wearing a leathers in a cape, his arm, his arm that had been rejuvenated by Anubis, now pulsing with a fiendish energy.

As he as he looks at all of you. And he says, I'm sorry for my deception, but there are some things that you do not need to know. And he looks down, he says, come, my son, we will put an end to the chain god. And you see as he raises his hand

and swirls up in the Raven Child, looks at Zern, who has no idea, and you see both heads looking at you and looking at, so if you know, Mommy, brother! And with a massive blast of all four wings, he rockets into the sky, and he flies off with the raven child in tow. And with that, the castle settles,

and the entire wall of this place crumbles away. And you see a massive blazing sun, where it had once been dark clouds, and cragging mountains, you see miles of dunes, surrounded by sandstorms. Off, you see strange, dark pyramids, massive temples, statues to long forgotten gods. You are no longer an adventress of Castle Gloomvale

has traveled through the mists. You are now all in the dread domain of Harakir. And now, that's where we won the session. You are all level 14. all level 14. You son of a bitch. You son of a bitch. You son of a bitch.
