Welcome to Legends of Adventress.
I'm Twig, and you're listening to Once Upon a Witchlight.
Last time on Once Upon a Witchlight, you continued to incite a rebellion against the three hags of Prismere,
the hags known as the Hourglass Cubbin.
Finally, making your way to hither, you incited the rebellion there by appealing to the new king,
Gullop the 20th.
And as the rebellion raged, you made your way towards the caves on the shoreline that you know to house the final shard of the Vorpal Sword, the weapon that the King of Hearts seeks.
And it is here, after a trist, that you make your way deep into the caverns and then also deeper into the cave.
and find eventually the final piece of the Vorbal Blade.
When touching it for the first time,
you are met again with another vision,
or a memory, perhaps, trapped inside a bit of the shard.
As you reach in, which one of you grabbed the blade?
Gideon.
As you reach in, already holding on to the two that you had,
you reach out and your hand comes into contact
with the piece of metal here,
the hilt's still attached to it,
as all of your eyes go milky white
and you are met with a memory.
As soon as you touch the third and final shard,
it radiates silver light,
which consumes your entire vision
as you all experience this waking dream.
The silver light turns to the orange glow
of flickering fire in the fireplace
built into the wall of a hut
filled with countless knick-knacks, herbs, and other strange oddities among shelves and hanging from the ceiling.
In a quaint bed along the wall is the beautiful maiden, her hair now entirely silver besides a single strand of black.
She sleeps peacefully with her hands clasped over her heart, a blue rose in her grasp.
Then a door to an interior room opens and an unfathomably ancient crone hobbles out on knobby knees,
dressed in a patch-covered blue dress
with tattered red shawl
from what strongly white hair whips about.
Her visage is horrifying
as it is hideous,
with an impossibly long nose covered in warts
that extends past deep sunken eye sockets
filled with beady black eyes.
She hunches over the maiden
and dabbs her head with a cloth damp
from the brew from the cauldron on the fire.
Then the door to the outside is kicked in
and with a rattling crash
and elegantly dressed
pha prince in crimson
and a glittering mass
steps into the hut
filled with rage.
The King of Hearts
brandishes a sword of red and silver
toward the crone and glares at her.
Release my love, Hag.
You know I am prepared
to cut your putrid head
from your knobby shoulders
here and now.
You come here of your own volition,
child.
I am no longer a child
and I now have a weapon forged
for my heroism, bravery, and strength.
If you will not release her from your spell,
I will have no choice but to strike you down.
Begin with your folly, child.
In a blazingly fast and graceful movement,
the Faye Prince lunges forward for a deadly strike,
and with an echoing clang of metal,
the sword is stopped.
Suddenly, as the crone grasps it between two gnarled yellow nails,
as effortlessly as a shrewd,
she was plucking a flower.
A moment later, the sword shatters and clatters to the ground
as the man is violently lifted to the ceiling by an unseen force.
Boy, I care not who your father is.
You are a hideous creature, a worm beneath the feet of my granddaughter.
You hide behind that mask, ashamed of what you really are.
The King of Hearts lets out a groan as he is crushed against the that
of the roof, and then with a small wave of the hand, the mask shatters easier than the sword.
And despite the beauty of the rest of his face, you see what was hidden behind the mask.
Two horrifically misshapen eyes, one swollen and nearly shut, and the other absolutely massive and bulging,
the color of pitch with a deep red pupil. The crone looks up at him and finally peels back her
thin lips to a sickening smile, revealing two rows of iron teeth. She extends,
ends gnarled crooked fingers towards the shattered blade as a dark green smoke arises,
slithering up like serpents through the air and twists together.
Your blade is ill-forged, boy.
Heroism, bravery, strength.
You may leave these walls, but I create a weapon as ugly as you are, monster.
It will be forged from your rage, your shame, your hate.
The slithering smoke begins to take form as it snakes out of the door as the King of Hearts is ejected from the room and into a putrid swamp beyond.
He collapses to the floor and looks up toward the crone, tears streaming from his grotesque eyes.
She stands at the doorway and produces a silver and a mirror adorned with the shapes of swan geese, reflecting the man's true visage back at him.
He lets out a blood-curdling scream of terror and immediately stumbles away from it, screaming as he sprints out into the gloom.
The smoke swirls and circulates above the hag's hut, taking shape and becoming flesh.
Green scales, leathery wings, snaking tail, grasping claws, gnashing jaws, bulging eyes, wriggling tendrils.
A horrific, draconic beast is birthed as the Jabberwock lets out a guttural bellow and takes to the sky.
And in a flash, the vision leaves you.
It is quiet in this cave.
Before taking this blade, you could still hear the lapping of the waves against the shore, but it almost feels as if all outside sounds have been muted.
It's just the sounds of your heartbeats and your breathing.
After a couple of tense moments, the sounds rush back suddenly, and you are thrust back into the present.
The lingering remnants of those memories still playing in your mind.
as you look between each other,
you now have all three pieces
of the Vorpal Sword.
What the hell is he?
Oh, man.
We all saw that again, right?
I did.
Did Torbett catcher this time?
Yeah.
Jerks.
But that means this whole time?
He's been ugly.
Yeah, right.
Worst in Torbac.
I mean, that's unbelievable.
I was thought he was a handsome guy under there.
hard to make AI contact.
Is that how you guys feel when you look at Torbeck?
Yeah, yes, exactly right.
That's what Torbeck's been doing to people all this time.
That's terrible.
Yeah, I went on exactly right.
Well, well, well, how about all that, lads?
How about all that?
Grigo, how did you know, man?
I don't know.
Just had a bit of a feeling by his posture
that you always jump in the gun.
I never would have guessed you had giant gross monster men
under that fat.
I mean, something was afoot.
Oh, in the nausea, I can't even look at it.
You guys feel this every time you look at Dormick?
Yeah.
Just welling, rising, hate, and disgust?
Well, less the hate these days, but, I mean, really it's shifted to the disgust.
Oh, boy.
Dormack is so sorry.
Well, as long as he keeps the mask on, I mean...
You can't.
You see a monster man off.
You can't unsee it, Crim.
What are you doing?
That's what we call the tube back here.
You got to make sure you got a back on your head as well.
Just in case.
Double protection.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, man.
I've never seen anything like that.
I don't know.
I'm kind of, I mean, less inclined to help now.
Well, well, again, why?
No, this is a little change.
He's clearly very powerful.
Well, he got beat.
He got beat.
He got beat.
He's talking about it.
Yeah.
It was kind of pathetic.
This is a torment dog.
She didn't even hit him. She just waved her hand.
He went flying through the roof.
Cracked his mask, shattering sword.
What good's he going to do now?
I was from the counting on this, kid.
I need a really powerful handsome ally.
I figured we were setting up our futures.
You know what I mean?
Oh, man.
Let's not be hasty.
I mean, how powerful could I have an ass to be a ugly witchie, eh?
Maybe she's really powerful or something.
I think that's the,
the mother they're all talking about.
Yeah, all the hags, man.
They're always talking about their mama.
So if she's the progenitor of these three hags,
each of which is powerful as fuck,
and, you know, maybe it's justifiable that he was beat.
Huh.
And did you hear her call her the granddaughter?
I mean, what's that about?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, why is she doing all that for that lady?
She's not that pretty.
I don't know why I'm doing all this
Frost you've been awfully quiet
I get over it
You know
it's something to say about now
And Paul's is taking it back
I am taking the back
I don't want to process
Exactly as I said
Do we're back
I'm fine
Right now
We don't have time for that
Frosty and forget it
You're always trying to work
You're trying to work
backstory in constantly
Now's not the time
It's not the time
That's not the time.
We have all of the pieces of the blade, presumably.
Unless there's some sliver or shard that alludes us,
is there any way that we can put it together?
Gideon, do you think you can with the newfound powers or something?
Well, let me step into my mind palace and see if all this Faye engineering
gave me some form of Faye blacksmith.
You can't say mind balance, that's my friend.
That says everybody had mine balance, too.
You're a mind palace, too.
Well, just, you know, I mean, I would trail in Frosty for so dang long.
Does everybody get a mob palace?
That's what Torbeck's saying.
You can start with a small shack of some kind
and then move up from there.
I got a mine shack.
Mine's kind of a mine workshop.
Yeah, I got mine workshop.
We have different mine things.
Yeah, that's cooler.
Anyway, mine workshop, do I know how to reforge this blade?
This is not engineering.
This is weapon smithing.
You sure do, kid.
What's the problem?
I would say,
Just roll a D20.
It's the flat D20.
Jesus. Add nothing.
Add nothing.
Uh-oh.
Eight.
You have no idea how to forge this blade back together.
You feel that there's almost like a magnetic pull
between the pieces.
It does seem like it wants to come back together,
but you can't seem to, you can't seem to get it into place.
It's almost like the feel of when you
put two magnets together when they're all their opposites,
and they just kind of push away from each other,
no matter how hard you do it,
it just won't go into place.
Come on, get in, you can do it.
I don't know, it's like the sword wants to be whole, guys.
It's like it wants to come back together,
but, I mean, this is fay weapon smithing.
This isn't fay engineering.
Oh, man.
What am I, a fay weapon smither?
I'm a fay engineer, damn it.
Yeah, I mean, the pendibles of blacksmithing.
I'm not even close to engineering.
Very far off.
Why would you even think that was a possibility?
Yeah.
I thought maybe...
I'm not mad.
I'm just disappointed in you.
I thought you were better than it, right?
I think when you're disappointed in me, man.
Really, that hurts the deepest.
Yeah, I don't... I'm sorry about it.
I thought maybe in the mine workshop, maybe I'd seen a schematic or something, especially...
You know, we had to bring a knox working on wish stones.
Like, maybe I'd seen something that could take material and forge it.
I built a machine to do it, something like that, but I got nothing.
We should speak to our allies.
to our allies. Perhaps someone that we know can take this weapon and make it whole again.
I mean, heck, man, it's the king's sword and we got all the pieces now. Can we just bring it to him?
Where is he? Well, that's a good follow-up question, Ross. Yeah.
He said in that dream that we all shared that he was on the run from the, on the heart out from the Jebel walk.
Yes. Lying low until the time was right or something. Wait a second. Can't one of us call him?
Torbeck, can't you call him?
Oh, yes, the beast?
No, the peace.
Oh, we lost that?
No, we lost the chest.
The Jabba lock ate all of them.
Which one of you is the smartest?
Because I don't even know anymore.
Grico.
Probably Grico.
What?
Apparently, it's Graco now.
It's Frost.
It's Frost.
Frost.
Roll an intelligence check for me, please.
Torbeck doesn't even know why the DM looked at Torbeck.
I get a 23.
Because I felt like you were the least likely to lie to me.
Yeah, that's fair.
You go to 23?
Yeah.
You think back.
Let me go into my mind palace.
Hey, that's my thing.
You retreat into your mind palace.
And you remember that you were instructed that once you found the pieces of the Vorpa Blade to meet him at the gates of the palace of hearts desire.
Or easy.
That he would know.
All right.
We're calling that we have to meet him at the gates.
That's as simple as that.
That's where he is.
Well, where's that?
It's in the middle of the whole thing, right?
It's hard to be.
You saw it when you flew up in your dirigible
and you were flying out of yon and into thither,
you saw in the very center of Prismere,
there is this wild forest, this verdant forest,
very different from thither,
which is much more, it looks far more wicked,
whereas the one in the middle is beautifully lush,
and in the very heart of it was a giant castle.
There is the castle that we passed,
when we were going around the world trying to figure out whether or not we could land on
round island and get the nice of the round material.
Yeah, I mean, it's in that foggy valley. It was all covered in fog and he couldn't get to it,
eh? If we could land there, then perhaps we could reach the gates. I do have some concern
that the Jabberwock might be able to see our dirigible, the flying circus, and we'd have
some sort of epic battle in the sky. But aside from that, I feel...
Well, I mean, maybe if it locks on to us, I can hit some.
Smallify mode and we can try and elude it like a little bugs or something.
I have it.
Jammerwank will find us.
You'll hit the smallify mode.
We'll allow him to swallow us and then you'll hit the Ambigone button.
You mean like super mega imbigan?
No, just regular ambiguous.
He can't hold all of that dirigible in his stomach.
He burst apart.
He lost down.
What if he expands?
Do you think he has his own ambiguous?
What if he's crushed against his inside?
Yeah, he's got super insides.
He's kind of huge, son.
You have to go super and biggin.
Okay.
Why when we just hit the super-Memibgen-Begger?
But that would be so mean.
Twig, Twig, you have no idea what this creature did to us.
He's got a lot of features.
What do you mean?
What did it do?
I haven't felt the kind of mortal fear and intellectual paralysis that I experienced.
No, it was a bad dream.
It was a good point.
It didn't actually do anything to it.
What are you a bunch of bitches?
It's just a dream.
Dream.
Dormick feels like somewhere along the line.
We learned that this thing was evil.
Well, we know that the people hogs doesn't like it.
But that in itself isn't just the case.
And he killed all of us, I think.
Look, I have a very distinct memory of being killed by this thing, and that's hard to shake.
You know, it's hard to throw that away and start fresh.
Well, then maybe that's why we avoid the thing.
I mean, we can see that whoever that lady is, Mother the Hags,
I built it out of the king of heart's own rage and sadness or whatever,
so maybe we just avoid the thing.
I'm just saying, if we can't avoid it, we should.
But if we are going to the castle and we reach the gates,
then we'll be able to meet the king there and we'll be able to deliver the sword.
If not, then we'll have to have some sort of an embigoting battle.
And then we have all three of the things, right?
The silver things?
From the hacks.
There's no way to know that we have everything.
thing, but I think we have to assume that all three shards will be able to reforge the sword.
We collected all of them.
I think you means it's relics.
Yeah, the needle, the fred, and the scissors, right?
The schizzers.
Yes.
We have those.
We've got two of three.
Yes, we have those, and we have the three pieces of the sword.
Oh, God.
You've two of the three.
Yeah, two of the three.
Well, it's three of the three.
And you got all of these for a half-heartedy?
What?
For a what?
You know, he's one half-heartedy.
Yes, this bottom half is very attractive.
Like, it's Wiener?
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Oh, you know.
That's a weird thing to say for us.
Why did you just put that out there?
I was just re-synthesizing what Twig was saying.
I mean, I didn't say anything of the sword.
You just offered that up like it was not.
And if we've learned anything, any parts of his body colored by clothes could be horrible to look at.
So it was really big, though.
It was really big, though.
Yeah, well.
Yeah.
My eyes went like, whoa.
Her eyes went like, whoa.
I'm starting to forgive you.
For what?
Vampirism.
I...
Betrayal, most foul.
I don't know if I betrayed you.
I'll be honest.
What?
Oh, I'm not forgiving you anymore.
All right.
What a liar.
Don't trust him.
Look, I feel like we have everything he asked us to get.
At this point, right?
We got the three pieces.
I mean, we didn't kill any of the head.
but we, you know, at least got the things that he needs.
Oh, yeah.
We broke the packs.
We got the things.
We got the sword.
I mean, is this it, fellas?
Or we just hop on the flying circus and we head straight there?
We're this close.
Yeah, the socklops are all, uh, or the swanclops are all taken to the water or something.
I don't know.
You say sock hop?
The sock hop.
Probably some of those, too.
I heard the sockops.
Now, we've already had all of our great political discussions.
Everyone's along the tree of freedom must be water with to blood of tartars.
That's true.
You didn't agree about that, yeah.
Everybody agrees, especially the sodcloths.
We don't know how, we don't know when they'll stop, though.
I mean, that's the thing.
I mean, there's no way to know.
You can hear them out there Shrek in those woods.
You just look at the violent destruction happening right there.
Holy shit.
There's violent destruction right over there.
Inside of this cave?
Are we out at the well?
I assume we were in the cave.
In the well.
We're still in the cave.
You're in the cave.
Yeah.
And that's what I said.
Yeah, in the cave in the well.
Great, we're there.
That's where we are.
That's where I said you were.
I don't point up it downfall.
Well, I mean, then I guess back to the flying circus.
Yeah, what we're waiting for?
Let's go, fellas.
Come on.
Let's take the sky.
Hooray!
All right.
We actually got some of good feeling about us.
We actually got all of our quests.
Well, isn't anyone else is excited.
It's tour bag.
Yeah.
Claffington made me shit out of luck.
I mean, I feel like we got most of all, I?
99 out of 100 isn't bad.
It's not bad.
At least I'm not a hundred.
I think it's not a hundred.
I think a solid C-plus.
At the end of the day, we're here to clear our debt when we go back to the prime material
plane.
Well, that's what I keep trying to grok is that the whole point of this is that we need to wake up
Zabina.
And we're just hoping this is all going to work to wake up Zablna.
We didn't have the whole thing that King of Hodge is trying to do it?
I mean, I know it is, but we have no way or not.
You think it won't work?
I know.
I hope it does, but, I mean, you saw what it looked like.
Oh, boy, we keep coming back to that, don't we?
Well, who looked like?
That's going to stick with Torbeck for a long time.
Gotta be honest, guys.
Yeah, it was pretty unsettling.
That's going to haunt Torbeck's dreams.
I will be accepting my apologies from each of you,
as well as a nice, genuine note of Grico you was wrong early.
you. What do I have to apologize
you for? Oh, you don't
you said he was very pretty, and you
turned out to be very wrong. I mean,
I could only see him from the waist down.
I guess
as a bulge was covering his face from your
point.
No, that's an image.
That's a little image.
I guess if you
have a certain point of view
has a lot of sight of you.
That's very funny. If you took like
laser point out of LOS.
Yeah, it would hit the nut sack.
All right goodness.
Well, we'll go on.
I'm sorry, man.
It's like an awning.
You clearly had the much better ability to judge handsome man.
He was the prettiest man I've ever seen.
He always was the wise one.
He was.
He always knew.
Always had an act for it.
Coming up with all those great plans.
I mean, it's Grico.
Solving every puzzle and riddle.
Every puzzle.
He was a guy for words.
I'll accept apologies.
Post haste.
Dealing with political.
I would be beside my sense.
They're good of speeches.
They can tell me who you how to give a good speech.
I would be beside myself.
Everything we need to figure it out.
All right.
Yeah, Gricoe really did it.
Torbeck's sorry, Greco.
I would be remiss.
Do you feel better now?
What's the point of having a high-imp character?
Oh, thank you.
Thank you, for you.
Well, Nikki won't let me roll for it.
What's me?
I roll to be smart.
Well, he's really.
Well, he's really.
He beat the cords in the crowns.
We have so many lucky stones on a counterfrosting.
It's crans.
Yeah.
Crans.
Crowns.
Anyway, back to the flying circus.
I'm going to need a couple of minutes though.
I got to build a shower attachment for Torbeck.
Why?
It's a smell terrible.
You've been with three trolls.
I couldn't think you'd get smell worse.
That's going to help the flying circus pee all over him.
You're crazy.
Yeah, you're damn right.
That's exactly what I think you're going to let it do.
I'm not getting that.
this pod circuses, you smelling like that.
Good luck.
We're not going to go meet
our destined fate or whatever.
No.
Battle whatever the hell is about to happen.
Dormick's not taking a bat. You smell
like you just gave a troll gave.
Yeah, well, get used to it.
Guys, I faint of Vopold's
so it smells like shit.
I agree with Gideon.
We're going to need you to shower before we
proceed.
Good luck.
At least rinse your feet off.
I don't think about it.
Maybe for Mr. Kremi.
Maybe.
I mean, if you don't want to shower, I can shave you.
Oh, we could, we can shave you.
It takes an inordinate amount of time for Torbeck's fur to grow back.
Don't ask Torbeck how he knows that.
Okay, so I'll start now.
No, let's just leave, all right.
But he smells like Pennsylvania.
Among other things.
plug you nose and we'll get through.
Why is everybody complaining now?
We've been on this adventure forever.
Troy has known all of you for years.
Because the last eight hours or so,
you've done vial acts that have enhanced.
You had dirty, dirty sex with trolls.
Dormick did it all for all of you guys.
I'm not saying it wasn't a noble cause.
Dormick, losing your virginity changed you.
Dormick's not going to elaborate on that right now.
There's just no time.
I'll think that last one may have been half ogre.
Does that make a better reward?
I'm out now.
I'm out now.
For the love of all that it is only, please.
Please, please clean your off.
At least take a towel to your butt crack.
Oh, God.
To the flying circus!
I'm gonna leap up and climb up.
I'm gonna leap up and climb up.
We get onto the flying circus.
We bored.
You board.
You board.
I'm bored.
You bored.
And you begin to navigate the flying circus.
You take to the skies, soaring above the swampy trees of hither.
The sky is shockingly clear and you feel like you can see across the entirety of Prismere,
and the domain of delight seems to have been turned to utter upheaval.
You hear the sounds of froggy revolution as bullywugs storm.
I'm gonna change the music actually
because this is just not working for me.
My God, I have a fucking guillotine.
You do have a guillotine.
It's incredible.
Oh, no, it's pronounced guillotine.
You think?
Man, he really does know lots of stuff.
Yes, indeed, yes and de.
That's a day class A.
You hear the sounds of Froggy Revolution
as Bullywugs stormed the elevated hut
in the center of downfall.
With the three shards of the Warple Sword
were claimed, the only destination before you,
as the palace of heart's desire.
You have your heading
and begin to head towards the top
of the fog- shrouded valley
where the castle resides.
Only the tops of the tallest towers
and parrot pets visible
above the gloom in the tree line.
You looked at thither and yawn,
and you see far-off evidence
of commotion and revolution.
Coordinated perfectly.
All of the people of Prismere
have rallied against the hags
that have kept them in fear
and control for so long.
And just when you get a sense
that victory for the rebellion
has been achieved.
you hear a horrific piercing sound.
Three shrieks and one, and you recognize each one.
Along with the screams of the hourglass coven,
you hear a horrible groan all around you
as the flying circus begins to shake violently.
Suddenly, the ornithop your wing shred.
The lily pad balloon pops a hole and begins to leak air.
And the wooden frame of the rocking horse begins to crack
and the nose of the dirigible turns down as you lose altitude.
There is a horrific groaning
as the glowing magic of the hag's former mounts
seems to revolt against you as a terrible curse takes hold.
All you can do is hold on for dear life
as the flying circus crashes into the fog.
As you plummet to the ground below,
you hear shrill cackling on the wind.
You realize you are being pursued.
Riding in an enormous cauldron is not just one hag,
but all three members of the hourglass coven.
Despite their hatred for each other,
the three sisters of the coven
are united in their hatred for you,
and they are coming to claim their vengeance.
I need you all to roll for initiative.
Combat in witch light?
Not my witch light.
Not my witch light.
The terrain.
Pull off.
That's that one.
Terrain.
Pull off.
Who taught you to fly?
Who taught you how to fly?
Pull up.
Who taught you how to fly?
Who taught you how to fly?
Dore.
You know you guys are right.
It came from behind.
Uh-oh.
Folks, it's not looking good.
We all have five temp HP from the, what did I come off?
Yeah, and max HP too.
Not me, I got her somehow.
Oh, that's right.
You got injured.
I got injured somehow.
That's not bad.
Dormack roll.
I was nice to you a couple sessions ago.
We got 12 max HP.
That's correct.
Yes.
Let me just double check to make sure I'm good.
And five temp.
How is temp?
Sorry.
Five, ten.
And 12 max.
I have the 12 max.
already. Okay. Yep.
Oh, actually.
Okay. Let's see here.
I don't know how you do it, man.
I don't know how you do it.
It's a state of being, really.
Okay. Wow, I haven't run in combat in a long time.
This is gonna be difficult.
How do you even do this? 20 to 25.
Great. Let me see here. Prismier goes first.
Ooh.
I love that guy.
15 to 20.
16, yeah, that's me.
Oh, that is you.
Yeah.
We're back, I've got a lot of initiative cards.
That's a lot of cards.
Yeah, it's too many cards.
Oh my God.
Actually, actually, I have to, sorry, I have to remember this, 18.
I don't remember which one was which, so I'm just gonna pick.
We're gonna make, we're gonna make Endlin first.
Okay.
All right, so then actually it is Twig.
Too many cards.
Twig.
Twig.
Let's go.
Then 10 to 15.
14.
14.
Cremie.
Followed by Scabatha.
Oh God, oh God.
And then 10 to, or five to 10.
Nine.
Seven.
Oh, seven and eight.
Oh, seven and eight nine.
I love that.
What about said before the stream.
Do you need, do we need initiative card for Hootsie?
No, no, no.
Okay.
And then in the very last with six, we have Bavlornah.
Oh.
Sheesh.
So here in lies our initiative.
Well, Prismere has its own card.
Prismair has to.
You can see how many cards there are, folks, one, two.
Quite a few cards.
That's fantastic, actually.
I'm doing my best.
I'm doing my best.
And then I'm going to pass these to you.
You'll see that there are words written on them.
Hither, thither, and yawn are written on these maps.
Oh my gosh, oops.
Do you want us to start with one?
In a minute.
Okay.
I'm just gonna put down,
The first zone, just in case.
I'll put them in a way.
I recognize these maps.
They're from the crooked moon.
What?
Do you want this on your side?
Yeah, yeah, please.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Oh my God.
Oh my God, we're crashing in a hot blind forest.
We are so fucked.
If you want to, so as...
That would be horrific.
That would be the most scary thing that I could imagine.
As the dirigible crashes into the...
the, into the foliage on the forest floor.
You are all spread out.
So I would like you to spread your characters out
around the forest floor.
Where are our characters?
Oh, it's perfectly hidden.
So we like it's scattered about.
As the original breaks apart.
I don't know what, yeah.
Just scatter.
I just don't want you to be next to each other.
Okay.
So you should be fairly far away.
We're gonna run.
We're sitting.
Oh, yeah.
I love that.
That's perfect.
Go ahead.
As you are dusting the dirt off of you
and getting to your feet, you hear the cackling
get louder and louder and louder.
As the cauldron darts through the canopy of trees,
almost honing in on you in the pieces of the mounts
that they have cursed, as all three members
of the hourglass coven descend towards the center
of this place and immediately,
leap from the
leap from the cauldron.
So if you could put the three of them
just in the very center,
kind of back to back.
As they land and Endelin,
she raises her hand
and you watch as some of the puppet strings
that she manipulates,
rise up and begin to
latch onto the cauldron and raise it up
into the canopy above,
completely disappears from view
as she wipes it away.
They look,
towards you malevolently.
And as Endelin goes to speak, you hear,
you're stepping on my, you're stepping on my dress.
Be quiet, we are here for something important.
And they immediately start to bicker.
They are you, they begin insulting each other
and causing each other trouble
as they start to move towards you and they hush each other.
Endelen constantly trying to get them
to rein in on the fact that they're here to fight you.
before she yells out to all of them.
We need to do this right.
If we do not, they will best us.
But they, they stand no chance
when we are united sisters.
Let me take the lead.
No, I cannot let you take the lead.
No, I can let you take the lead.
And they once again start bickering again.
You see, as magic starts to surround them,
you're confused.
in this moment that they are wasting so much time on this,
but you start to see that the terrain around them
as they're fighting together begins to shift and change.
As they fight,
Bavlornah seems to be taking control of the situation.
She's rising herself up higher than the others.
You see lornelings begin to pop out and appear around her.
Actually, can you get me-
Oh, you get me a mini for Twig?
Oh.
Oh.
I need a mini for toy.
Does that one of them actually rives up?
She just gets a little bit bigger.
She's like imposing or she's not levitating.
She's just imposing herself.
Why use the cubes so bad?
I used to keep it while I'm working.
I do a little bit of this.
A little bit of this.
Yeah, yeah.

Guys, something I have to do first. The ground beneath your feet begins to change.
Uh-oh.
I don't like that.
And they are all bickering.
And for a second, it seems as if they are going to agree.
But they continue to fight.
And Bavlorna seems to overpower the other two
as the ground beneath you becomes soggy and wet beneath your feet.
Where there had been this verdant forest,
you're now standing in an acidic swamp.
You smell the familiar,
a familiar sense of hither,
as hither infiltrates this area
of the domain around the palace of heart's desire.
You can hear the sounds of lornellings chittering
in the tree line around you.
And Gideon, you are all too familiar with this feeling,
that feeling of the swampy acid
that was eating away at your flesh
in Gavlornis hut, as it slowly begins
to burn away at your flesh.
Oh shit.
Oh no!
And that is, that is what you feel for now.
Endelin, watching as Bavlornna, takes control of the terrain here, steps forward.
And she is, who is immediately in front of her?
She's this one, so like probably crummy or like,
Kidian probably.
Or twig.
Yeah, I mean, probably me.
She's gonna move towards you, but she's,
She's not going to get to you.
Like here?
It's two spots?
Yeah, yeah.
That looks about right.
And she's going to reach out her arm
and she begins to cast a spell.
You see as down from the swampy trees and vines
some of those puppet strings that you remember
before attach into your shoulders.
And you feel as she begins to puppet you
as she attempts to cast encore.
Oh.
Damn.
That's cool.
That's fine, man.
23 to hit.
Oh.
Oh.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'll do it.
All good, Haggy.
I'll do it.
It's gonna do eight points of damage.
And then I need one of you to roll D6 for me, please.
Ooh, me, I have a million of them.
Two.
Two.
That's Torbeck.
Torbeck.
You're also gonna take that
the same amount of damage.
What?
As she casts encore and you write yourself for a standing ovation
and begin to bow as two of these strings attached to you as well,
and you take the same amount of damage that did.
Eight damage?
Yes.
No. Nice.
All right.
And that is her turn.
Torbeck.
As I feel this damage and then my body is not my own for this moment as I'm forced to make
this bow, Torbeck begins to plead.
Come on, please, please, now's the time.
Now's the time!
And the tanks will begin to glow
as the alchemic liquid begins to bubble.
And you'll see the levels shift just a bit,
as I will use one of my mutagens as a bonus action.
And I'm gonna choose mobility.
So I will have immunity to the grappled
and restrained conditions, and that's it.
But I have disadvantageal strength checks.
So my flesh begins to undulate and move
And as Torbeck is breathing heavier
and his eyes are starting to glow a bit more magenta,
you'll see that there's a difference
in the way that Torbeck actually moves
as this mutagen begins to take effect.
Oh.
No, that was Endelen's turn.
It's your turn.
I actually need you to roll a D4 for me, please.
Certainly.
Oh, three.
You are going to take three points of acid damage.
Ouch, out.
And you watch as, you watch as, you watch
as Bavlona, looks like if she had been damaged,
she would be reinvigorated,
as if almost she's seeping the life from your body
through the liquid that you're standing in here.
Her skin that had been cracked and dry
is now becoming moisturized.
Perfect.
Torbeck will then use his movement,
two, six, and with the extra reach,
be able to take two attacks on Scata.
We'll see how it goes.
Scabatha.
Oh, baby.
The low hit is gonna be a 21.
If that's the low one, they both hit.
Yeah, I got a 19 on the lower, almost a crid.
So that'll be 2D8 plus 10.
18 points of damage over two attacks slashing as-
I need to know each of the damages.
It's important.
Eight and 10.
First one is eight, second one's 10.
You watch as you slash in to Scabatha
And you hear immediately next to her
as Bevornah hisses in pain.
And you see as Endelen recoils back a little bit,
you see a tear appear on the back of her voluminous dress,
as both of them seem to take a little bit of damage as well.
Oh, that will be Torbeck's turn is, again,
he's huffing and puffing and a little bit of drool
begins to form it the accordance of his back.
And then what was the second?
So it was eight.
It was eight, and then ten.
Slashing.
And then as you do the 10 damage, another slash,
You see a very similar situation.
Is that Gorbeck's presence?
What the hell is going on in Prismere?
And that's Torbeck's turn?
As your turn ends, Twig is looking around,
especially to you, Gideon.
She sees what happens.
And as she's going to do something,
Bavlornah reaches her fingers down into the muck and mire.
And she begins to chant in this deep, guttural,
frog-like voice.
as she uses her legendary action to summon lornlings.
So if you can place a lornling,
they're gonna, one will pop up next to each of you.
Oh, okay.
Oh, from the swamp, those fucks.
Like any particular, just there.
Thro them wherever.
Twig, frosted,
go, Lorbet, Dormit.
They are going to attack.
So one is gonna attack the Kremi,
and that is gonna be a miss.
The next one's going to attack Torbeck,
that's a miss.
The next one is, oh my God, I'm not using that die anymore.
It's gonna miss on Grico.
That's next.
Next is Frost, and that's gonna be a 16.
Nope.
Oh, geez.
And then Twig, oh, that's gonna miss.
19 plus four, so 23 on Gideon.
Oh, that'll hit, that'll hit.
Okay, that will hit.
Where did I put my, where did I put their little card?
Oh, this one.
Uh-oh.
I lost a card.
This is what I get.
Well, I had a little card for my, for my lorngings.
Oh.
You definitely, like, said it at the start.
You said lornelings.
Yeah, no, that's hoon-see.
I wonder if it's up there.
Um, I mean, I know what it is.
I just need to write it down from my own head.
All right, we need out some tax.
I need to figure out which one's going to attack more than more.
wants this turn.
So you're going to.
You're going to take four points of slashing damage.
And one, yeah, and then one point of poison damage
as their claws sink into, as this Lauren Lang's claws sink into you.
And you feel its mouth press against you and begin to suck from your wound.
Fox!
Cocky little freaks!
And then that's their turn.
Next, it's Twig's turn.
Twig is gonna look towards, she doesn't see
that Bavlorne is the one doing this.
Her eyes are trained on Endelen,
and she is going to attempt to attack Endelen.
First, you're gonna see as this sparkling shimmer
almost appears around Endolin
as she applies a curse or a hex onto her.
Oh, that's nice, that hits, that misses.
Okay, so she gets two hits.
That's a lot of damage.
So that's two.
She's gonna do 18 points of damage to Endelin.
And you watch as two of these bolts
of sparkling magic just pierce into Endelin.
And though no bolts head towards Scabitha and Babylon,
You watch as they both rear back as if they've been hit too,
just not as powerfully.
And that is Twiggs' turn, Kremie.
I, this Lord and Lang is a little,
a little freak.
Let me just see if this is concentration.
All right, I will say, y'all right over there again.
Hey, I'm doing okay.
All right, snower never.
and I walk in the shadow of the good Baron mull than ever.
I've been waiting a long time for this
as you hear ominous jazz in the distance
coming through the swamp
and the chittering of swamp animals and birds,
but it starts to kind of turn a little more monstrous
as shadows from all around the trees
casting the shadows that will sort of sloop up
and cover my full form
as neon glyphs,
patterns erupt as I use my bonus action to use my form of dread.
First, twig is gonna take two points of damage
from the water that she's in.
You do, you need a D4.
And you also watch as Bavlornah seems to heal the same amount.
And as she does, you see that her sisters seem like
they're affected as well as they seem slightly rejuvenated.
Damn.
Dang it.
And then.
And then how much damage did you take?
Oh, sorry, let me roll my damages.
There's a single D4 in this box.
Two.
Okay.
I'll take two damage.
I get a certain amount of temp HP from this.
I get a D10.
Come on, come on, come on, roll high.
Okay, eight-time HP.
Okay.
From the form of dread.
And then, as I'm summoning these shadows, you'll see almost me turn almost into a shadow myself.
As my own shadow sort of slithers on the ground, extends long across the swamp out towards them,
and then it snaps and it separates.
Cool.
As almost forms a separate shadow cavity.
Damn!
next to it as I use my action
to cast Summon Shadows Spawn
Nice
And I'm fucking ready
I'm gonna make this the fury
Emotion
Oh let's go
Oh
Cool
And then I just want to make sure
I call for the
Bibibiboo
Which creature appears
The creature is an animal
She has my initiative account
He's turned immediately after mine
I think I'm going to stay right there
And then
it's going to take its turn.
It is going to make a melee attack again.
Actually, it does need a to-
I need a little mini.
Does it have hit points?
It does.
You need to roll a D4 as it's standing in the acid
at the start of its turn.
Takes three damage.
You watch his Baburna heels.
Can I have a good dry erase so I can track how much HP it has?
I think that might be the bad one.
Oh, that's a wetter race.
That looks crazy.
Is that gonna do you?
That should be fine.
And if it's not, we'll get a new mat.
It's a three.
Those are all wetteries.
Damn it.
Can you spend unlimited for three points on your turn?
Yeah.
I am going, oh, go ahead, go ahead.
You just cannot activate unlimited, like,
I forget what they're called with the,
yeah, metamata, it checks.
26 to hit.
27 ahead.
Yeah, that hits.
It will deal 1D12.
It takes 10.
Oh, no, no, more than that.
7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 points of cold damage.
To who?
And I'm doing this on Scabatha.
On Scabatha.
Because I remember that tense negotiation that went south.
13 points of damage.
All right, you watch as your shadow rips through her.
You see as,
as the shadow pierces into her flesh,
tendrils of frost appear along her skin for a moment,
almost turning the torn folds of flesh blacken with frostbite for a second
as the shadow attacks her doing a significant amount of damage.
That's my turn.
And you watch as a similar thing happens to both Endolin and Babwell.
now. I think it might actually be that you can't affect one spell with multiple iterations of a
of a meta magic. You might be able to use multiple, but like a spell can't benefit from
more than one iteration. Because I know I have one that says like, yeah, yeah, I have one that
says you can use this even if you've already used another metamagic option on this spell.
So I think it's... And that's your turn?
That's it? Oh, okay. Fantastic. It is, it is sketched. It is sketched.
She is...
Scabatha is here.
Oh, she is...
Close to the...
So the shadow is right here, right in front of her,
and Torbeck is one square away, and Torbeck hit her.
He's overlaided.
I love this, thank you.
I'm related.
I might actually.
She is...
You know what?
Since you're not in melee,
and she doesn't want to move out of range...
She's smart.
She doesn't want to move out of range of the shadow,
knowing what that would mean.
So she is going to reach up her hand,
and she begins to sing a lullaby.
Oh.
And I am going to see if this hits.
22 to hit?
A shadow.
No, you.
Me?
Yeah.
Yeah, that hits.
Right, you were gonna take, that is not the die.
Where's my, there it is.
You are going to take nine points.
You're gonna take nine points of,
Why am I thinking with a necrotic damage?
You're gonna take nine points of necrotic damage
as you feel almost bits of yourself unraveling.
And as this happens,
you begin to shrink down
and you see at your feet a tiny dollhouse.
And almost like the maze spell,
you feel yourself pop out of existence
and find yourself inside of the dollhouse
as she casts.
playtime. And you feel yourself pounding against the walls, but you are trapped in this dull
house for now. Whoa. You're saving for him either. I'm fucked. What the hell is that, though?
Uh-oh. And that is her turn. Scavafa. Frost.
Hmm. This chaos unfurls before me, and I focus inward. You watch. You watch.
watch as my eyes start to glow and I harness the cyanic,
cyanic energy within me.
Frost, you'll see him almost levitate off the ground
just a little bit, and any of the plants or grass,
even the creatures close, sort of shift in and then blow out,
and then shift in and then blow out
as I harness the psionic energy.
All of you here within your minds,
everyone, assemble to me, and I believe,
then I can create a shield of protection.
Come to me quickly.
I'm assuming I don't get to hear that.
No.
You hear nothing.
I'm talking with a different plane.
You've got a different plane of existence.
Yeah, unless the other plane of existence is 60 feet away.
No.
No.
Torbeck would not be able to hear you inside of the dollhouse.
He is completely separate.
He's one second out of time.
I'll make a note of that in my mind.
I'm going to incur a attack of opportunity
from four here.
Oh, it will take it.
Two, three, four, five.
Natural 20.
Dude.
Yeah.
Brue.
You know, fuck.
It's always Derek.
It's always Derek.
11 points of slashing damage.
That's not crazy.
And.
And you died.
You get dead.
He is the death spell.
Yeah.
Four points of poison.
The tumbler comes out above you and it's like the three to, in three turns you are dead.
I mean, they're just mortaling.
That's a lot of damage.
Yeah.
I rolled a five and a hole on the D-6.
It's just a tomberry.
It's just the river.
Guys, I might be cooked here.
30?
I'm not sure if I can even, is this a tree?
What is this in the center?
I'm going to use my feline agility.
It's just part of the swamp.
You can walk up onto it.
There's no, for the sake of this,
there's no difficult train.
I'm going to use my feline agility,
but I'm just to get a couple more squares.
I'm going to flavor it as I'm like
basically lifting up and just like levitating inches
away from the ground as I make it here.
I'm going to go take the long way
so I don't incur in this additional
um...
A tag of opportunity.
A pack of opportunity.
And then I'm going to...
And that force and pressure
that I've been harnessing
squares down into a sphere within my hands
as I unleash a huge blast of psionic energy,
and I'm gonna cast a pulse wave.
I need everyone in this cone.
I think I can hit five and six as well.
I can hit all of this.
I'm sorry that Cremi's shadow creature
will be affected as well, but they all need to make
a Constitution saving throw.
I will have charged my innate sorcery,
so I've increased my DC by one.
Sorcercerors are the best.
You are just outside of the way.
Does this do damage,
like does it do half damage if they succeed?
Yes.
Okay.
So, Valerna, Scabitha, and Endelen all need to make.
Endelen succeeds the other two, I guarantee fail.
I'm going to spend three of my sorcery points
to incur disadvantage on Endelen.
Oh my gosh.
Do you want to roll your shadow, crummy?
Yeah, yeah, just roll the,
what are you looking for?
Looking for a better mini.
Oh.
Sorry.
Uh-oh.
She fails.
Okay.
That fails too.
So they're all going to take 6D6 damage.
I'm gonna roll that here in a moment.
Do you twist your guy?
Oh yeah, I'm twisting my guy.
Oh yeah.
He's the problem, man, I don't.
Actually, you know what?
Speaking of that, I think I'm gonna use a dread.
How many dreads do I have?
Let me know, because I need to use them.
I'm gonna dread for end on.
I'm gonna dread for end on.
She's still.
You definitely have at least one.
She still plays.
I know.
You have one right there.
Not a ton of three.
Yeah.
I didn't think there were a ton of drugs.
Two.
Three.
Well, now I have two.
Four.
Oh.
So three.
So Tuna's right.
I have three now.
You have three now.
Okay.
26 points of force damage for everyone who failed.
You watch as this, as this blasts out.
Massive blast.
And you expect the amount of damage
that this is gonna do.
It seems like it's almost doubled.
Whoa.
Half on a pass?
Or not on a pass.
Half on a pass.
Okay, so 13.
And um,
have you succeeded in anyone?
I did.
Or my shadow, yep.
And how much did you say was 27?
26, I thought I said.
26, I think.
The Lorneling, is the Lorneling alive?
Oh, the Lornelings are all dead.
They have two hit points.
So any Lorneling that was hit is dead.
And they are pushed,
uh, 7.5, 15, 7.5.15.
The fucking go.
Oh my God, you mad jeez.
As I pushed them and, uh,
The pulse wave drives them back,
and I'm able to push the entire hour glass coven.
Wow.
Amazing.
I think I still have a bonus action.
You also have to roll for the poison.
Oh, gosh.
D4, you say?
Yeah.
Frost, frost, frost, frost.
For.
Okay.
That's why we brought a high-a-eat character,
Cremie.
Look at them go!
I forgot about that.
Oh, she always seems to be doing that.
You watch as all of them begin to heal a little bit,
but they are looking rough.
And I will use a bonus action to convert a second level spell slot
into two cyanide points, which I'll get back,
so that I have more sorcery points for future rounds.
That'll be my turn.
Fuck.
And so for the sake of just clarity,
I will kind of explain how their health is working.
They each have their own amount of hit points,
but anytime you do damage to one,
it does half that damage to the other two.
Because they are in a coven and they're helping each other.
On top of that, if you do AEOE damage to them
and all of them take damage, all of them have to take damage,
they take double damage.
If even one of them avoids the damage,
they don't take that.
That's why that's fucking, I am so pleased.
But what I will say is they have an incredibly high amount
of hit points because of this.
Yeah, that makes sense.
That makes sense, that makes sense, that makes sense,
that makes sense, cool, cool.
Cool, cool.
Okay, here we go.
My turn?
Take it up.
The Lorne Ling in front of Twig, that one's still alive?
Yes.
Okay, perfect.
Yes.
Ginko Baloba.
Rolla D4.
Go.
Good old Grinco.
Grinco, Grinco, Grinco.
Three, few points of acid damage.
And you watch as they heal.
I'll take three points.
I'm going to look back, presuming Hootzee is nearby.
I'll say, Go on in the woods!
I'll be wrong back, we're gonna be fine.
If not, I thought you to survive on your own.
You can hunt your own rat snacks and squirrel snacks and everything else.
As I will look at all me friends,
and watching YouTube videos doesn't count.
Oh, fuck.
She's got a gun.
Okay, it's time to do this.
We rally the Owlbear Kingdom.
will be a kingdom, and now I'll show you what I could have done.
And I'm gonna let out a hoot roar as I transform into an owlbear.
As I'll line down, I'm using the stat block
of a saber-tooth tiger.
And also you'll hear this cacophonous bellow
of almost like small miniature or almost like copies of hootsie.
As I will use my bonus action in wild shape
and my action to cast summon animals.
And I'll basically have a swarm of yonels.
among owl bears, Atlas owl bears, thunder forward,
and join me.
And I will have them represented by this here.
And I will then move.
They all need to take 1d4 out of damage.
It's not, it's not that block.
Okay.
It's just the spirit thing.
So we see a swarm and they radiate in a 10 foot radius
around this space and they can move.
That's very cool.
And so I am now going to move,
which then they can also move up to 30 feet.
I've been mapping this out so they can go here,
one, two, three, four, five, six.
These three Lorna Lings and all of the hags,
I will have them make a dexterity saving throw.
Okay, the first Lorna Ling gets a natural 17.
Okay.
A second Lorna Lina gets a natural 18.
Okay.
Bavlona is the one that's right in front of you?
This one is Bavala.
Scabith is right here.
Okay, and that's-
This is Endelen.
Okay.
So, whichever one's closest to them got a natural one.
And the one that's furthest away from them got a natural 19.
What spells this make?
Conjure Animals.
It might hit this.
Endelen too.
Endelen needs a rule for us.
Yeah.
Let's be said.
Endolin got a natural 17.
What's the DC?
16.
So only Bavlona fail.
Only Bavlona fails.
So she's gonna take some damage.
I don't know for this, yeah.
Um, let's see.
That's gonna be, uh.
Is this concentration?
Yes. I have a question of Mountedat.
22 points of a slashing damage.
Fun fact, it's a large pack.
That's on Bavlornna?
Uh, yes.
It's a large pack?
Is it two by two?
Oh, which would increase its radius if it has a radius.
Oh my God, yes.
Still hits everything, I think.
I don't know.
You're not gonna hit those.
I think you rolled for everything.
Yeah, I don't think it changes anything.
Do you roll for this guy too?
You roll three four minutes?
Yes, I did.
Okay, cool.
I think she did, yeah.
That is my turn.
I have a question before Gideon goes.
Is the spell, can I get a large time?
Concentration and if so, all the day, fuck.
No, it's, it's a special layer action.
No worries.
That's a special.
All right, it's a special.
I just want to ask my question.
I trust you.
Yeah.
It's her, it's her regular ability that she can do.
What I'll tell you is,
You come out of it at the start of your turn.
What it does is it makes you useless up until your turn.
Because you don't lose your turn.
Is it black by that?
Even if I did, I wouldn't be mad.
So each one of them has a melee attack and a range attack.
You're talking to the guy that heel of Frankenstein for 90-8 points.
It's okay.
I remember you.
I'll never forget you healing the Frankenstein for 90-8 points
and being so excited about it.
So excited about it.
It was soul-crushing for me to ruin that moment for you.
It just had to happen.
Before Grico goes.
Grico goes again.
I mean, sorry, before Gideon goes.
Gritty-in.
Bavlornah is gonna use her second layer action.
And she is going to allow the Lorne Lings to make an attack.
So the Lorne Lings are gonna move towards the closest things
next to them and they're gonna make an attack.
Yep.
So the one on Cremie.
These were both coming to Grico.
A 17 on Cremie.
That will stay on Tweremmy.
17? Let me take a look.
Let me take a look.
Oh, barely hits.
Barely hits.
I don't know, the one near Torbeck is he,
he's not in the field of play, right?
I want a different plane of existence.
Yes, so he's not.
So it would move to Frost, yes.
And that's gonna be,
11.
11 against Frost.
Oh yeah.
11 against Frost.
Is that on Miss Frost?
Okay.
What is that, what is that monstrosity that's there?
Is that Grico?
This is Grico's thing.
This is Grico's thing.
This is Grico.
Okay, so those two are going to attack Grico.
We got 21 and 17.
17 misses 21 heads.
Okay.
And then one on twig and that's going to be a 10.
And then nothing on Gideon.
Correct.
No Lorneley.
No Lorneling.
Nothing just yet because I haven't rolled for it.
How much on the Lorling?
How much did the Lorling do to me?
I'm rolling for it right now.
Three points of slashing damage to you, Kremi.
And three points of poison damage.
Ooh.
Two point, no, sorry, four points of slashing damage to you, Grico,
and two points of poison damage.
Okay.
And that's her, that's her legendary action.
Gideon.
Don't you worry about me, Cremie?
I thought we're gonna get through this thing,
killing no hags, because I'm having the time of my life.
Can you believe these dumb sum of bitches
we're actually just paying us to kill each other?
And I'll move, assuming I can occupy this space with the spirit owl bears,
I'll move here and I'll punch my fists together and erupt into flame as I bonus action my
Fridde's might and
And I will roll two attacks against the against Endelen
And let me do these two
Pretty good. I think pretty good
The lowest is a 21.
That hits.
I'm assuming it all hits.
Okay.
So, boom, boom.
Let's get out here.
Oh, don't forget to roll D4.
Oh, and I had strings on me.
Yes, but that was just for her attack.
Oh, that was just like a step.
Yeah.
Three.
Okay.
So I take three points of damage?
Yeah, you take three points of damage.
You take three points of damage.
10 points of punching damage and two points,
I believe a fire damage.
And as to Endelen?
To Endelen, yes, if it's,
if the damage type is relevant.
What I'll say is the damage type for them isn't relevant.
Okay, because of-
Okay, it's not fire damage anyway.
Just damage in general, their damage type isn't relevant for them.
Got it. You just take 12 points of damage.
All right.
And that's me?
They take the damage and as the second blow hits,
you feel it connect with Endelin,
but you immediately see that she disappears
and reappears immediately behind Scabatha.
And basically behind the Shadow Monster.
There?
Mm-hmm.
Oh, nice.
If she does appear there, she will need to roll
from the saving through.
What do you mean?
She'll need to, if she's leaving it and entering it again,
she will need to roll again.
Well, would this be its edge?
Within 10 feet.
So 5.10 is here, right?
She's at the time.
She's at 10.
Yep.
And that's your turn?
Just my turn, yes.
All right.
Bavlornah is going to use her final legendary action.
Actually, I'm sorry.
I didn't use my full movement.
I guess if she did that and I could still move after I attack,
I would just like get up here.
That's fine.
Perfect.
Go through one.
And just going to use.
who's Bavelorn is going to use her final legendary action
to activate the Lornalings one more time,
and they're gonna attack everyone that they're on.
They're gonna miss on Kremi.
Thank God.
They're gonna miss on Fri-I'm not using this dice.
Two on Grico, 14.
No. Another 14.
Miss. Twig.
Oh, that's it. No, they all miss.
They all miss.
The highest I rolled was a 14.
What is that?
Of course.
Here's the old silly man.
And that is, that's her layer action.
It is Bavlornna's turn.
Bavlora is going to, she is in melee range
with you, Gideon.
Gideon.
But you know.
Come on you dumb ugly hag,
you can't lay a hand on me.
She, oh, well, you know, she can't.
She's in melee range.
She's gonna reach up with both of her,
with both of her hands.
And you're gonna watch as long yellow nails
begin to grow out of her fingers,
getting longer and longer and longer,
curving almost into scoops,
as she slices in on you twice.
Oh, I would like to respond.
Go ahead.
Is this two separate instances of an attack?
Yes, is this two?
Multi-attack?
Multi-attack.
Which one?
I will, let me just make sure.
Oh, I would like to respond if one of them hits me.
Well, both of them hit you, so.
Okay.
So one of them definitely hits you.
I'll take the first one.
And I would like to, if you'll permit me,
after having been blown back by Frost,
and what I'm hoping for is there in some kind of
a little bit of like kerfuffle a little bit still,
I would like to activate gear two,
and I would like to redirect her second attack,
if I can, stealthily, at Scabatha.
Oh.
And if she ends her turn within five feet of the swarm,
she will need to make you save it.
I love a good form.
She, well, she's gonna do 11 points of slashing damage too.
And four points of acid damage.
Oh my God.
Okay, 15?
Mm-hmm.
This does not seem to heal her.
Just putting that out there.
Nice.
The other one, she is slashing at you
as she bumps into her sister and in her rage.
And with the magics that you've channeled,
it's easy for her to turn over and slash into her sister instead.
So that, I will keep that roll, so that would hit.
And so it'll do the same amount of damage to her sister.
Whoa, I rolled max damage.
Hey.
I rolled max damage in the whole thing.
I got two sixes and two, oh no, never mind, I didn't.
two sixes and two fours, but it's still very good.
Give it up, give it.
Just doubles, doubles.
And I'll just, if I'm able to do that
kind of stealthily-ish, kind of,
I'll just shout out as I see it happen.
Crammy, you won't believe it,
they're already turning to killing each other.
Nice.
Keep it up.
Nice.
And I'm trying to, I'm trying to, you know,
if everyone's picking it up, I'm trying to like,
I'm just trying to stoke, stoke dissension between them.
And you do.
And as we get back to the top of the round,
they begin bickering and fighting.
It ends her turn, so she has to make the saving throw again,
as that we said?
Dexterity.
16.
18, natural 18.
10.
Ooh.
She.
They begin to bicker and argue again as the ground beneath them begins to change as they fight
for dominance over this place.
And the scabatha, angry at what,
what Bavlornah has just done to her,
rears up looming over her, using all of her haggish mite
to intimidate her sisters,
as she takes over control of the battle.
The Lornellings pop out of existence.
Oh, oh.
You are all tossed.
Hold on.
See, go ahead.
Go ahead.
That's fine.
You are all tossed haphazardly about,
so you are going to reset position.
Just put yourself wherever you want to.
But the hags are going to be in the very center.
of thither.
We're changing the map.
Yes.
Oh, just kidding.
Yes.
Yeah.
You're no longer in Barbary's room house.
You're in Ken's Mojo Dojo Casa house.
It's like right there, I think.
Yeah.
I think we're just getting scattered.
Yeah, you're getting scattered.
I'm out of this point, though.
Yeah.
You're not.
You're like in adult house, though, right.
I would just say you, you can be right next to, right next to scabatha.
Somewhere out of here.
She would just have to right next to her.
Do you want them to be in roughly the same spot they were?
They're right in the center.
So they will, they will.
will always be in the center.
Every time we change a map, you will just randomize
yourselves and put yourself in different positions.
If I cast a magical effect on a map and then we shift maps,
does the magical effect stay in the same?
It does.
So it's the same territory.
They're just changing it.
Yes.
Let me get all mixed up.
From a war perspective.
The ground is changing.
You're falling over.
Vines are growing up and knocking you to the side.
It's a huge tumultuous event that's happening.
as terraforming is happening around you,
which is why you're not just staying in your position.
So that was even my question.
And it's okay if our characters don't know
but I'm just curious as a player.
Are they literally teleporting us around Prismere?
No, they are taking control of this.
This domain does not belong to either one of them.
They're fighting for dominance over it.
They're using their magics to make it theirs.
They're overridden.
And that allows them, that allows that particular hag
to have a layer action.
So Bavlornis was to summon her lornelings.
Yeah.
They are gone now because she doesn't have control.
Now Scabatha is gonna do something else.
But as this is happening,
I do have to make sure a second effect does not happen
and it doesn't.
Oh, great.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
As this happens,
you are all overcome with the Babes and Toyland effect
as your bodies begin to shift and change.
Even yours tort, Torek.
Inside of Scabatha's dollhouse,
She is able to manipulate you.
You feel as your bodies turn to toy material,
clay, wood, glass, different materials.
The weapons that you're using become toy weapons.
You all have a negative two to your AC
and your damage is halved for this wrap.
Oh, my God.
Holy smokes.
A negative two to AC.
I got a plan for this.
And our damage is brand.
Your damage is half.
I got a plan for this.
Great.
That's perfect.
for me. I'm into it.
It's great.
And so that is her turn.
Endelen is going to, she seems enraged as she watches
as she's not able to take control over this section of Prismere
as she looks around at the dark and gloomy forest
of thither around her.
And she spits on the ground and she turns to who's directly
in front of her?
It's crem- It's crammy.
She looks-
It's a shadow.
Well, yeah, but she's gonna look through the shadow directly
at Kremi, and she is going to cast Encore on you.
Bravo! Encore.
16.
Oh, is it an attack?
Yeah, it's an attack.
Oh, it would have missed, but now it hits.
Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
So she is going to do, here is my D10, there it is.
11 points of necrotic damage, and I need your
to roll a D6.
Oh, wait, necrotic?
Mm-hmm.
Shit, I'm not resistant to that, am I?
Oh.
Maybe in your shadow form?
Might be surprising.
Yeah, check your shadow form.
I don't.
Damn, that's surprising.
I bet I get it later.
Yeah.
So what if I roll?
A D6.
So you take 11 necrotic damage
and you need to roll D6.
One.
You immediately hear Twig call out in pain
as she is blasted with the same amount
of necrotic damage.
Oh, shit.
All right.
And, and, and,
And that is, that is Endelim's turn.
Torbeck.
You immediately, as this happens, you immediately feel your body begin to change as you are now no longer made of flesh and bone.
Your claws feel brittle at the ends of your hands, but you immediately begin to grow as the dollhouse pops out of existence and you find yourself standing in front of these three hacks.
Torbeck is still not speaking.
Again, there's this glow in his eyes,
the tanks are bubbling.
He kind of like looks at himself in this new form
and raises a hand and the arm will shoot out
unnaturally long as a needle-like finger
will try to pierce into whichever one of the hangs
made multiple attacks.
Endelen.
And this finger will jab deep into her shoulder.
And I'm gonna use a bonus action
to use one of my blood maledics,
which is gonna be the blood curse of bloated agony
as her body is filled with whatever
witchlight substances in my tanks.
As a bonus action, I will curse her.
It's within 30 feet until the end of my next turn.
For the duration, the creature had disadvantaged
our strength and dex checks and takes 1D8 necrotic damage
if it makes more than one attack on its turn.
But I am going to take 1D6 points of damage
to amplify the curse to make it last a whole minute.
You may roll a con saving throw of DC 15 or more
at the end of your turn to try to cancel
cancel the curse that it needs that.
But it'll last at least one turn.
So I will take one point of necrotic damage
to do that as like you'll watch these tubes,
which now kind of look like they're made of clay,
glow and pulse and move and writhe underneath
Torbeck's flesh as I amplify the curse.
Well, remember, all of your damage is half damage.
So that would include half damage yourself.
Rounded up or down?
Rounded down.
Rounded down.
Zero?
Okay.
Look at the large, you pick you.
Oh, damn.
And then, uh, he is not sure being.
Torbett will attempt to shuffle forward
and try to make two attacks with his poor brutal claws.
Ooh, the high is a 18 to hit.
And that hits?
Scabafa.
That hits.
The lows in 11, so I'm assuming that misses.
The one attack will be.
Four plus five is nine.
Half is four.
Half is four.
Four points slash nears.
All right.
And the drool, this foam that has been forming
at the corner of Torbeck's mouth
is now kind of clay-like as he's completely changed
to this composition.
And that's my turn.
That is your turn.
And I will say that you notice that,
or just for clarity's sake,
the healing effect that they were getting
was from the swamp water.
So now that the train has changed,
they're not healing every time that you're taking acid damage
because you're not taking acid damage.
Got it.
So the feeling is.
is nullified here, but you are significantly weaker.
With that, it is Twig's turn.
Twig is going to move.
No, she's not gonna move.
She's gonna stay exactly where she is.
And she is going to, she still has her hex up.
And so she is going to, I believe that was on Bavlornah.
And so I think she's just gonna attack Bavlora.
Or not.
Come on, Twig.
We use those dice. Why would you do that?
It was really bad.
She got a natural one and a natural two.
And then 23 for the next one.
So one of them will hit.
Excellent. Excellent.
Dang.
She got three attacks?
Yep.
Hell yeah.
Doing 14 points of damage to Bavornah with one attack.
And then seven to the other two.
And that is Twig's turn as she lets out these bursts of life.
As she attempts to help her friends.
Crummy.
Um, you will hear the ominous jazz.
Get louder and louder.
Um, and now that I'm made of like this bone toy,
there's almost, you see like my two eyes,
but then you'll see like, maybe like six dots
on one side of my head, four on the other.
My head has become kind of like this misshapen dye.
Oh, bro!
I love what you're doing.
As, uh, as I'll say, well,
What are you doing? Sitting around? Get in there. Get in there.
And I'm going to send my shadow guy in here.
And I'm going to try to get everybody, except I got to hit a tourback.
But something's just got to happen.
It's unavoidable.
King Dice's theme starts to play louder.
Oh, fuck yeah, it does.
More and more discordant as an almost like shrill.
You know, some people really hate jazz.
These hags right now really hate jazz as my shadow is going to use.
Why don't they play the notes that they mean to play?
That's very funny.
Dreadful scream once a day.
The spirit screams.
With each creature in 30 feet,
it must make a whiz-saving throw against the spell save DC,
which is, I believe, wisdom?
Within 30 feet?
30 feet, yeah.
That's also twill.
Oh, I'd crush it.
I would put it.
Do you want to get me too?
I didn't.
One, two, three, three.
Three feet is huge.
He is huge.
I'll move back here.
30th, please not that.
What happens with Dale?
There's a huge.
It's a big, massive.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, all right.
Scambeth the failed.
Twig passes.
Son of a bitch, I got a natie one.
I think Twigg is actually out now.
I think Twiggis out.
You can twist it.
No, it's fine.
You can twist it.
I promise it.
I promise it.
I'll twist it.
All right, I'll twist it.
I'll fail.
Oh, fuck.
I got a 14.
That still fails.
Whizzer's not necessarily much strong suit there, Mr. Graham.
Oh, no.
Anyone that fails is now afraid of the spirit for one minute.
Oh, that's fine.
It can repeat its save at the end of each of its turns.
I was worried more about the danger.
You try to like turn around.
Which one that has failed?
Scabatha.
That's fine.
So only Scabatha failed.
And then in revenge, I'm going to grab two dice out of my pocket,
and they're going to swirl around and glow with neon light.
As I fling them both.
and they'll roll through the air and smash into Endelen Moongrave
as I'm going to attack her twice.
One of them is pink, and then jump and dashes
on top of that and unfortunately gets power out.
It's called Perry.
One's an 18, one's a natural 20.
That is both of those.
Natural 20?
I couldn't remember.
I gotta give it up.
Oh my God.
Gotta give it up.
We're popping off.
It's not only half, but that's fine.
That's fine.
That means it's regular type damage.
That looks like a big roll.
31 points of forced damage.
damage. Oh, and because I'm a spooky, spooky king dice,
I am going to force her to make a save.
Another wisdom save, DZ16.
Sorry, hold on, I have to.
I forgot the twig also only does half damage,
so I had to adjust. How much damage?
31. And that's halft.
It's halved, so 15.
Okay. And that was to which, that was to Endelen?
That's both to Endelen.
And she needs to make it a way safe.
You can't run away, but you can't actually get closer.
And you get closer.
You're disadvantage on all attacks while you can see the shadow.
Fuck, that's bad.
While it's in line of sight, I mean, you could probably make the argument
if you're facing this way, it's behind you.
That's, I love where it's at, but I think that.
No, you get something to like, it's not like,
it's not like, it's not like, it's not.
Right.
Right.
This is not there.
I'm just choosing not.
You can't hear me if I don't see him.
You can't hear me if I don't see him.
No, it's fine.
It's fine. My attacks are taking.
And so the WIS save?
For Endelen.
For Endelen.
What happens if she fails?
She is frightened of me until the end of my next turn.
And what does that entail?
She can't get any closer to me, and she's disadvantage in all tackles.
To anybody.
Yep.
As long as she can see me.
She's gonna use her legendary resistance.
Oh.
That's what we're talking about.
That's good.
Curse dude.
And then with the rest of my movement, I'm gonna move back.
Get a little closer.
Get a little closer.
No, you fell over.
I fell over, I'm dead.
That's it.
Skabatha.
I'm actually thinking, do I want her to do that?
Actually, I'm going to let her keep her legendary assistance.
Okay.
Now, she's going to take it.
No!
Scabatha failed the...
So Scabatha is afraid of the shadow and ends up there's afraid of me.
But Shabbatha has turned away from the shadow, so she should be okay.
No, I'm in sight line.
So she'd have to, like, find something to get between or something to, like...
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
It's always affecting.
Yeah, because there's no facing in DUD.
So you're facing all directions.
Yes.
That's untrue.
Like a biblically correct angel.
You're always facing an all direction.
That's incorrect.
They're not angels, they're hags, Derek.
Oh, are they?
They are, yes.
Are they?
It is your turn.
It is now Scabbathus turn.
Scabitha.
She is going to, she is actually going to,
So, you can use it she can't attack you.
She can.
She'll just be a disadvantage.
She's disadvantaged on anyone she attacks and wants to see.
She's gonna use one of her,
one of her layer actions.
And she begins to sing yet again another lullaby
targeting you, I need you make a wisdom saving throw.
Cremie? Yes.
This is all we're twisting.
Whiz you say?
Mm-hmm.
I'm gonna twist it.
So I'm gonna keep track.
No.
As so you keep track.
We have so, so many.
I think we've used what?
We've used three.
17 plus...
25.
Oh, that passes.
That passes.
We used three.
I think we used three.
So we're at, yeah.
Got it.
Okay, so that does nothing, but it is her turn.
She is going to, she can't move towards you,
but that's okay, she doesn't want to.
She is going to look towards, well, I mean, she can look towards you.
I think she's mad.
I think she's really mad at you.
out at you. So she is going to attempt to attack you,
so she'll be a disadvantage, crummy.
Nice range.
Yeah, that's range.
Really, it was the shadow.
16.
16.
That shadow.
Yeah, I got a nine and a 10.
That hits, same as last time.
We still have minus two.
Yeah.
So that's going to do.
That's a D10.
That's just from being in the-
Be a toy.
Oh, be the toy.
Yeah, right, right.
The prismier action.
or a layer.
You're gonna take 11 points of necrotic damage
and you're exiled to the dollhouse.
It's not so bad, Mr. Cramp, you enjoy it.
Oh, I need a roll concentration.
There's a whole beer in the fridge.
Fuck.
Baking an egg served for breakfast.
How does that affect your shadow if you can't,
if you're not on the same plane of existence as your shadow?
That's a great fun question.
I maintain a concentration on it.
It should be fun.
Yep.
Perfect.
So that is, that's her turn.
You arrive in a dining room,
a bunch of dolls turned to you and go.
Come drink tea with us, Kremi.
She's then going to turn and look towards
Torbeck, and she's going to use
a legendary action, and she's going to sing that same,
that same lullaby.
I need a wisdom saving throw from you.
Just a whiz saving throw, you say?
What happens if we were just all over the dollhouse?
Do you de-agrhythm? Do we reset the fight?
Twiffin.
12.
We're trying.
In evade bugs.
Yeah, yeah.
We have a bunch.
Yeah, you can't.
I'll try to twist it.
We've only burned three, so this is four.
16?
No.
Oh, wait.
No, no, it's 17.
So, no, that's not enough.
But yeah!
No, you just, you fall asleep.
You fall unconscious.
It's not considered a charm, is it?
No, this is like, sleep is different than a charm.
Sleep might be a charm.
Because I have advantage against saving
to be as being charmed because I'm a fay creature.
I say ancestry.
Get out of here.
It's an enchantment spell, not a charm.
Okay.
I fall face down on the ground and pass out.
Oh.
I just want to double check this.
Yeah, it's a mind-affecting spell,
but not a charm apparently.
Now, you're good.
At least my cursory Google search tells me that.
I believe you.
If I'm wrong, well, that's what I do.
Wait, Jane, it's all good.
Yes.
So you are asleep until you are woken up
or the start of your turn.
You're back tired.
Frost.
Hmm.
Oh, did Endelin go?
Not yet.
Stavitha one?
Endolyn went in the beginning.
Shabbatha needs to roll another mistake
to see if she breaks the Shadowsphere.
Yeah, we're not back at the top of the right yet.
17?
That passes, she's no longer afraid.
Ooh.
And Endelen is afraid of me, but I'm not here.
It doesn't matter.
Ah, shit.
Frost.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm going to...
Do your big mine nuke again.
I mean, the mind nuk is very charming.
I've already cast a Nate sorcery.
He's in his thought form.
Or leverage...
I was joking about the wizard.
The wizard's...
The psionic wizard subclass.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
That's a...
To a red with a legend to his mind trash.
That's exactly correct.
Thank you.
The narcoleptych.
Yeah, she's just pissed because I was so good on my role.
Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum,
Cremi's gone now.
Cremies gone now.
I'm going to make a guess.
Oh.
And I'm going to try something that I remember from a long time ago.
Okay.
I am going to attempt to run Witter Shins around Bavallona.
I'm going to go like this,
and I'm going to start to make my way
in a counterclockwise direction.
But staying out of reach?
10 feet away from Babylon or so.
Five to 10 feet away.
You see that she recoils.
It doesn't have any immediate effect,
but it seems to have done something.
Oh.
You move all the way around.
Not all the way, but you move 30 feet more.
I don't have to stay where I am.
but I am going to stay where I am, and I'm going to say to Twig and Gideon, stay close to me.
I know that the terrain is shifting, but I'm going to try to create a sphere of protection,
and with great energy, I'm going to let my eyes go white.
You have all seen this happen again.
A sphere expands around me from that sphere within my hands.
All of a sudden, a pulse and a massive, it's almost like the Akira,
nuclear explosion.
We're Neo-Toku explosion.
Oh my God, yeah.
Like this.
That's incredible.
I'm going to cast magic circle.
A 10-foot radius, 20-foot-tall
cylinder of magical energy centered around
a point on the ground that I choose
within 10 feet, which is right here.
I'm going to, I think,
if I cast it, then it's going to create
five, two.
I think that I create a line,
like a diamond shape.
I think I create like a diamond shape,
like right?
He's too powerful.
And let's just use this for now as the,
as the Zippus.
Ooh, the Crackin thing, if you want.
Do that.
Yes, sir.
You do it.
You do it.
I'm gonna choose Faye as the type of creature
that I'm protecting within my magic circle.
What's the casting time on magic circle?
Oh, fuck.
It's not in action anymore.
Maybe it never was.
I don't, yeah.
It was always one minute.
Wow, I would like to slow time first so that I can,
I get a super quick and spell.
I didn't notice that, thank you.
You can remove the thing.
Do it.
I followed, I followed 10 turns and I use them all right now.
Do you can't remove the thing.
Is that what you're saying?
You could be getting just for 10 turns.
Well, really don't.
60 seconds, Frost.
I used it during the Jabber Walk,
I didn't get a chance to use it.
All right, that's unfortunate.
The magic circle would have been tight.
Instead, I will look at Endelen
and I will whisper inside of her mind.
You can't trust your sisters.
You know this to be true.
You've spoken these words to us,
and while you try to fight us,
your covenant is broken.
You don't know who to trust.
I need her to make an intelligent saving throw.
I'm going to invoke disadvantage
by spending a sorcery point,
and if she fails, I'm casting enemies of bounds.
and she has to choose her foes at random.
Hell yeah.
Yeah.
I know this spell very well.
15 is the lowest.
My VC is...
It should be 16.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We're...
You...
Yeah, yeah, no.
Thank you D&D Beyond for calculating it correctly.
It's 17.
I'm guessing that the resistance is going to be very legendary.
No?
No?
Yes!
Yes!
Just tell me how it works.
Okay.
The target loses the ability to distinguish friend from foe regarding all creatures it sees as enemies until the spell ends, which is concentration up to one minute.
And you can repeat the saving through every time you take damage, that's Endelen.
Whenever you choose another target as a target, you must choose at random.
Okay.
Perfect.
Is that your turn?
I will use a bonus action to convert some spell slots
into sorcery points, but I can do that on my hand.
I love that for you.
Scavatha is gonna use her final legendary actor.
Scabatha.
And she is going to turn towards,
she's gonna turn towards Twig.
And she is going to attempt to put her to sleep.
And fail miserably.
Damn.
Oh no, Twig.
Twig fails miserably.
She has to do a wisdom saving throw.
No, does she, does she, what's wisdom?
What's wisdom here?
Yes, she does feel miserably.
Oh, she falls asleep.
Sorry.
Why is it even, ooh.
Mrs. Johnson, no.
No.
And with that it's Grico's turn.
Oh, my turn?
Oh, God.
Yeah.
Grico.
Gricko, Grim-Gren.
Brin.
You know what to do.
This is the all-person.
I'm just gonna charge it.
I'll kind of look around.
Hootie, are you okay?
Go in it.
I don't wait to hear, but then I'm not gonna,
because I'm so disoriented, I'm gonna say,
who? Okay.
A whole bunch, you are supposed
to doth, scabufa.
It's you and me, you were supposed to
do a bunch of albers, but now you're
to steal that chance.
Yes! I will let out a roar
as me and my owl bear swore
and lunge forward as they
are going to charge forward,
and all of them will,
to make dexterity saving throws.
Including forback?
No, it's, I may.
So my friends are immune.
Nobody cares not poor back.
Yeah.
It was like, well, I hurt you, like, good.
I was mechanically allowed.
Okay, Endelin is the only one that fails.
21 points of damage.
This is halft?
Yep.
So 10.
That's half.
10. There's no damage if they succeed.
And then I am just going to do two rend attacks.
two rend attacks.
Nice.
Endling may repeat her saving throw.
DC 17.
Natural ball.
Whatever you said.
I'm just on scabatha.
I'm going hard on scabatha.
The first one should absolutely hit.
Allow me to, oh sorry, I was supposed to pull up that I had it.
First one is an easy 22.
That hits.
And then a 19.
That also hits.
Okay, so I'm gonna do the first one.
So Endelen's gonna make two more saves.
Six points of slashing damage has already happened.
Six points of slashing damage is already having the first one.
Wow, I'm rolling hot.
Yeah, it's seven points of slashing damage.
So it would have been with 14 and 12, but it's six and seven.
I'm going crazy and then...
Do the sound.
What?
Oh, that's pretty good.
What sounds?
What's what an owlbird?
You do this?
But a hoot at the same time, Eric.
Oh, you can use that?
Oh, doing it all hoot.
Yeah.
Ooh, did teamwork.
Yeah, wait, hold on, I want to look in.
What in the ham?
It's like I'm at the table with it out, folks.
Unbelievable, just.
It hurts when I do that.
Well, suck it up.
I am going to use my bonus action to disengage.
Whoa, is that what a saber-toe Tiger going to do?
Goblins can do.
I can still do my goblin abilities, right?
No, you're not a goblin.
Oh, is that really?
I use all my features?
I got right?
I don't know how it works now.
You can be class.
You can be class.
Check,
check.
Projection.
Professional.
I just read this ability like on Friday.
I guess it's important.
Let me check.
I have it.
I still have his character.
You're right.
No, my situations are changed.
Exactly.
You're right.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Then I use my bonus action to just do a little jig.
That's my turn.
Right.
You're still speaking the King's comment.
You're still speaking the King's comment.
It's your turn.
Uh, um.
I so wanted you to be in a magic circle.
I tried. I tried.
It's all good.
Hey!
We're all learning today.
Break crummy bag, you dumb ugly eggs!
And get the hell up, Torbeck!
And I'm gonna slam my hands together
and cast burning hands and ignite them all
in a cone of flame.
Also Torback. Also, Gurkow.
What the fuck, man?
I can't control it.
No, it might wake you up, didn't they?
Did you have to roll to a tank?
Oh, it's a save, it's your save.
Is it a deck save?
What's the range of the come?
15 feet?
Do I automatically fail?
Well, you're-
My shadow's barely out.
What are you?
What's happening to you?
Is it Dex?
Are you asleep?
Yes.
If you're asleep, you want to
No, then I'll wake you up.
Yeah, but I'm gonna take a billion damage.
No, I'm gonna do half.
I'm gonna smell like burnt hair.
No, you don't even care.
I fail.
You don't even better.
That sounds better than before.
But the other two, but the other two pass.
The other two pass.
Okay.
Band-Aid. What the fuck?
Oh, God.
Derek, what is wrong with you?
That is the worst you've ever said.
Derek, don't ever repeat anything like that ever again.
It's not a regular con-
No, no.
Never, ever again.
That's still bad.
I'm legitimately angry with it.
If you failed, wait, let me make sure they don't take it on a,
on a success.
Oh, are we all taken half though?
Like, no matter what?
Oh, okay. So they will, so they will all take damage from this.
Yes.
So if you failed, you're taking 16, which half is eight.
Okay. Okay.
So if you passed, you're taking eight,
which half is four.
Yeah.
Nice.
So, but they all take, all three of them are gonna get hit.
So they're taking mega fire damage.
I'm taking eight.
They're taking mega fire damage.
So wait, so it was eight if they failed.
Four if they passed.
They're taking damage either way.
Yes, but all three are taking damage.
I'm here to crack Covens.
I'm here to chew bubble going to crap codes.
Derek said, nope.
So, no, we're not.
Not even Derek therapy.
You, similar to what happened when Frost did his ability
that seemed to, that attacked all of them at once,
you watch as the amount of damage that you expect to happen to them is amplified.
As one burns, the rest burn.
And because all of them are burning, it's stacking.
And so whereas, Bavornah, because all of them took damage,
Bablornah should have taken eight, but she also
takes half from Scabatha and half from Mendelan,
so it doubles, so they all take 16 now instead of eight.
And then four, four.
Yeah.
And that makes sense.
And probably Torbeck wakes up, I don't know.
Corbeck does wake up.
Hell yeah.
Here's prone now.
I'm on fire.
You're welcome.
I'm flaining.
You only take eight damage, you big baby.
I'm actively engulfed in flames.
You got, come on.
It's not the first time.
And then she gets to,
Make an attack, make a roll.
She gets to technically do it three times
because she takes three different attacks
because she's getting the burning from her two sisters.
And she still fails all of them
because this dye sucks.
I'm gonna use this frog one.
Okay, that was your turn?
That's me. That's all I can do.
It's Bavlornah's turn.
Bavlora is looking at who?
Right me.
Right in front of you.
Right.
Bavlora is melee, so she can't,
use her ranged attack. She is going to...
She's right next to me, though. She's definitely male.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was just seeing if twigs down,
she wouldn't pay attention to her. Twigs is sleep.
I just put her over to the side. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just mean that she's,
she's small and she's behind you, so she's not going to be looking at her.
She could use a ranged attack on Frost, but you just burned her face, so I think she's
going to go in for two attacks on you.
16 is the highest, or the lowest.
16 is my new AC.
Yes.
Ooh.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
I'm a pretty beef.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
I'm just gonna do the whole amount of slashing
and then the whole amount of damage.
Yeah, I don't have any resistances, I don't think,
so it's all just, however you want to do.
Fire, right?
Well, fire, but.
18 points of slashing.
Okay.
13 points of acid damage.
From both claw attacks.
31.
points of damage, huh?
I say in character.
Don't forget that you guys do have Heroes Feasts.
I hope you're paying attention to what Heroes Feast does.
I think it just gives us advantage on like saves being frightened
and we're immune to...
I think you might be immune to poison and poisoned.
Wait, do we get advantage on with saves?
You're immune to frightened, bro.
I'm not frightened.
Oh, you're immune to frightened.
It ended up not mattering on the thing.
No.
Wait, so, oh, but we're just, we're not immune to poison damage.
We're just immune to being.
Resistance to poison damage.
Oh, resistance to poison.
It's acid anyways.
It's not poison.
It's acid.
Nothing has been changed.
I just wanted to make sure that we were looking at it,
just in case.
We have immunity to frightened and poisoned conditions,
so it can't be frightened, we can't be poisoned.
We're already immune to frightened.
And that was Babylon's turn.
It is Priusage's turn.
They are, they are arguing with each other.
First, I'm going to roll to see if they can come
to an accord.
They can't.
They cannot come to an accord.
So I'm going to roll and see which one of them
takes control.
I'm getting so lucky with this.
Endelen towers
over the rest of her sisters
as Prismere begins
to change. Where there had
been a forest. There are now
rocky crags that appear around
you. Dark
rain clouds appear overhead
as lightning begins to strike
and you all find yourselves
in a small version of Yon.
Where did I put her card?
Where did I put her card?
Oh my God, we got teleported to Rowan's rise
from the Crooked Moon.
That's not good.
That's not good at all.
I need one of you to roll a D6.
I got it.
Yeah, you're Captain D6.
Fuck.
He's a six.
He's a sick, oh, no, it was on the ground.
One.
Derek, roll.
Cheesh.
It's not far.
Make sure you put yourselves where you'd be.
You don't have to be spread out in this one.
You're just, so it's kind of a way for you guys
to decide where you want to start this next round.
No, no, no, no, no, you sneaky bastard.
You sneaky bastard.
You're right bastard.
And that's where you want to be at?
I'll get up here.
I will get
up here.
Torrex probably wants to be in the mix.
Do you want me in the mix?
You want me way back?
I don't want to be way back.
Do you want to be way back?
Yeah, that's fine.
Just put me over wherever.
Have you locked in your positions?
I'm not like to give Torbex some.
I'm locked in.
I'm locked in.
Me personally, I'm locked in.
Me personally, I'm locked in.
I'm a flaming ball of fire.
The storm clouds, royal overhead.
Uh-oh.
As Endelen sets her, you said a sick,
on the D6?
Oh, no, what a Derek roll?
For the D6.
I asked you to roll a D6.
Well, if you count something that fell on the ground, it was a six.
So if you want to, you're the GM, you can accept that.
What is he trying to talk you out of?
In North Carolina.
I'm saying.
I just, I asked for someone to rule D6, and I heard six.
It was very confusing.
It was confusing.
It's confusing.
He rolled a six on the floor, then he said Derek roll,
and I rolled a one.
I'm gonna have you re-roll, because I didn't hear that happen.
Do you want me to re-roll?
Do you want me to re-re-roll?
I'm Mr. Kingdice.
I'm the gameist in the land, Derek.
I never, one.
It's fate.
It was fate.
It was fate, truly.
Endelin turns and sets her sights on Twig.
Oh, no.
As she begins to cast, curtain call.
What?
All around Twig in a 20-foot cube
is a swirling mass of magical darkness.
Uh-oh.
Anyone within a 20-foot cube
around twig is affected by this.
The hags can see through it.
Yeah.
Dang.
I'm not in it.
Hooray, hooray, hooray, hurray, here.
20 foot, cube.
It's a 20 foot cube of magical darkness.
So it's 20 foot by four.
So it's just 10 feet away.
You are just out of it.
Oh no.
You might be in it.
Gideon's definitely in it.
I'm definitely.
Yeah, you're definitely in it.
So it's here.
Yeah.
And it's here.
Yep.
That's 10 feet.
No.
Oh, it's a 20.
No, he said a 24 cube.
But a cube isn't radius.
A cube is just 4.20 square feet.
Across.
Yep. 4 by 4.
So it's just Gideon.
Yeah.
Unless it's an emanation.
So it's like...
Gideon?
Me and Twig.
Yeah.
You're fucking sick.
Yeah, to you and Twig.
Immediately, you see as a spotlight trails onto Twig.
She falls unconscious.
Not asleep, unconscious.
But I can't see her.
Oh, a spotlight hits her.
A spotlight hits her.
A spotlight hits her, and she falls unconscious.
You are blinded by the light of the spotlight
for this round.
He's also reved up like a douche.
He is, wrapped up like a douche.
Is that another runner in the night?
And that's what happened.
So let's hope she doesn't take any damage here.
Oh, my gosh.
What does it mean?
What does it mean?
mean. And that is, that's Prismier's turn. Then it's Enderim's turn.
So just as a reminder, disadvantage or strength in deck saving throws, if she makes more than one attack in a turn, she'll take one D8 across. She might also, is this, if she starts her turn in your thing, Mikey, does she take, does something happen? If she ends her turn in. Oh, ends her turn. And then you'll be able to roll to remove the blood curse at the end of return where you use the legendary resistance. Perfect. Just for the sake of making sure that I know everything that's going on, it's Enderlin's turn.
Twig is down.
Did she end her turning out?
No, no.
Her turn is just started.
Oh, okay.
She is going to...
Evolona.
Scabafa.
Is this Endelen?
Hmm?
This is Endelen, yeah.
Okay.
Oh.
Hold on, hold on.
I might have messed that up
because I didn't write this down
the way I needed to.
Where is my...
Oh, but Florida didn't move.
She would have needed to make the saving for as well.
Okay, I'll do that.
An Aftful 18 plus whatever other stuff.
Okay, you're good.
You're really good about it.
It's fine.
Okay, no, that would not have happened yet.
It would have happened right after her turn,
so I'll keep it for the sake of it.
That's her layer action that she can do.
Curtain call.
What Prismere does is different,
and we'll find out on Torbeck's turn.
How that works.
Endelin is going to go,
so she is going to turn,
and she is going to look at
Actually, she's going to, she's gonna look at the shadow
right in front of her.
She's afraid of the shadow or not, no.
She thinks that everything is its foe, or her foe,
so she picks it random.
So she's gonna pick it random.
That's gonna be really hard.
Warren is afraid of Cremie,
but Cremies not in the battlefield.
So everybody is not afraid of that.
Roger that, my hope is that she chooses one of her sisters.
So it's a D8.
Well yeah, one, two, three, four, five.
six, seven.
And she, they can still see us, right?
And so they are four and five,
is what you just said, correct?
Yep.
A one.
Who did you say was one?
Twig.
Oh.
No, did I say one or one?
I think I said one for Gideon.
I'm pretty sure.
One, two, I went around this way.
I'm sorry with Gideon.
Okay, well, it's Gideon then,
that she is going to turn and look towards.
Great.
And she is, you know what?
Because you are, you are enraged.
God's so dark,
you are ened.
She can.
Remove spining.
She does.
She's going to cast Encore.
Gosh, I'm getting fatalityed.
Threatenship.
And then it's going to be 22 to hit.
Oh, you know.
Oh, we're toys, right?
Okay, yeah.
No, you're not toys anymore.
Oh.
That shifted when we shifted.
Yeah, you have a new, there's a new...
Is my AC back?
Yep.
Still hits.
Yeah, it does.
Yeah, it's high.
You're going to take...
to take 12 points of necrotic damage.
I need to roll a D6.
Uh-huh.
Two.
Two is Torbeck.
Torbeck, you're also going to take 12 points of damage.
Torvex, no.
12 points of damage.
And that is her turn.
Torbeck, it's your turn.
Oh, well, she has to.
DC-15.
Con to end the bloters.
Natural 20.
Yeah, no blockers.
Well, no, that was for, that was for the decks.
And then for yours, I have to roll for you.
If you'd like, you certainly don't have to.
A natural one.
So the blood curse will stay.
Yeah.
Oh.
But it is your turn.
So at the start of your turn, I needed to roll
a con saving throw.
I'm technically-
And like me at Wallace, with a needle in her chest.
I'm-
Oh, you're a big film.
I'm taking-
I'm not so large.
I did.
I always forget about this.
14.
Twist it.
Why?
Because you have high con, don't you?
No, I just four.
Derek, you turn around and grab Gia.
Less 14.
She turns towards you and you immediately see the puppet strings come down and attach to your arms.
You're gonna fall on her.
And she looks at you and stares into your eyes and she says,
um, attack Grico.
Protect me.
And you're gonna use your entire attack on your friend.
Uh-oh.
Yeah, that's fine.
Well, might be even bigger then.
Well, why are you so big?
Do I have to assume that I would do my turn exactly like I would do your turn.
Exactly like your planning too.
That's basically a fuck you up.
Actually, my head's poking out.
Oh, it's all my turn though.
It's not my turn.
Yeah.
Okay.
So that happens at the start of your turn
and determines whether you fight for her or again.
Sure.
As a bonus action, I'll start by,
all of a sudden you'll notice that the claws
begin to drip this horrific magenta witch light
as I basically use.
It's called puppet master.
Crimson Wright.
I will take 1D6 necrotic damage to activate this.
It will be the full 1D6.
I take five.
I'm dying.
And then.
Then anybody that I attack will take an additional 1d6 damage of the type just determined by the chosen right.
It lasts until I finish short long rest and you can't gain the bent.
What else has happened?
That's fine.
And I'll attempt to attack Grico twice.
I'll just move one here as my long arms shootout as I try to scratch him.
The low is a 15, it looks like.
Yeah, 15 is low.
The high is at 24.
24?
Yeah.
Okay, I'll take the 24.
Do you get your 10 base P for a little shit?
Yeah, you'll be fine.
That's gonna be 11, 12, 13, 14 points of slashing damage
with one attack.
Sounds good.
That's my whole turn though.
But you have the croons in.
Actually, hold on.
That is my turn, but I'm gonna read my thing real quick
to make sure I'm not missing anything.
It's Twig's turn, so she's gonna make wrong.
What the fuck, too a bit?
I curse at you and Gobble and I say her rift,
things that you came, you didn't imagine.
You repeat what Derek said earlier.
No, I would never go that far.
That's foul.
And then it is pretty soon.
I always know where you are.
Anytime you deal damage to me or another creature
that I can see within five feet, you're going to take.
And your blinded goes away because it's been Twig's turn.
But the brand.
But I'm still in the darkness, though.
No, no, no.
That's gone because it starts at Twig's turn.
Oh.
So it was centered on Twig.
She's still unconscious, but the darkness goes away.
and she could do it again, she could do it to you,
and then you could go unconscious.
Oh my God.
And it would last until the start of your turn.
Oh my God.
God, so my Flamethrower thing was actually way bigger.
Oh, I need to roll concentration.
Presumably.
That's flesh.
Okay, shooting in effect your coming.
But if it emanates from the front of me, right?
It's going to emanate in two and then spread.
It's an emination, and absolutely.
Yeah.
Cremie.
Right? It's your turn.
Not the eminquent.
appear out of the dollhouse.
Oh, man, I was baking cookies with Mr. Frog and Mr. Toad
in the back of the play Super Monkey Ball in the game town.
What the hell?
I want to go to the doll, that?
What the hell?
It was quite pleasant.
I just got a Super Monkey Ball!
I turned, like, yeah, it actually wasn't so bad.
And then I continued to check me.
I want to fight Super Monkey Ball for the Nintendo Game Cube.
Oh.
I need you to roll a con saving throw for me, please.
Con, you say?
I do.
You should need a twist it.
I'm gonna twist it.
This is, we need to twist it until we pass.
We can't be wasting for this.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
What did you get?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
24.
Oh, yeah, that passes.
Didn't you happen?
No, no, you just, you shrug up.
You watch as the tendrils of puppet strings come down,
but you're able to shake them off.
Having just come out of this dollhouse,
you are prepared for what's happening,
and you do not allow her to take control of your mind.
I will then grab the dice again and spin them around and shoot them out, I guess.
I think that's probably the best play.
Everything else I can do is concentration.
I don't want to lose shadow Jim.
Oh, no, actually, you know what I want to do?
I'm going to say, that was very rude.
I take offense to that.
I walked up.
I'm walking through.
at least there's not asking my shoes.
I think my cane,
I'd just have you in the face.
Incredible.
What the, what the end?
Hold on, hold on.
I'm snacking her.
Um,
okay.
13, 14, 15.
He's got at least force five,
really?
I'm gonna twist it.
I'm gonna twist it.
Yeah.
18 to hit?
That hits.
All right.
It is going to deal.
How much damages of Quarterstaff do?
Is it a D4 or D6?
Oh, of course I was like a D8.
I don't know.
You a six?
I don't know off the top of head.
I think it's a D6.
I think that's the same guess.
Five plus my strength score, which is zero.
So I feel five damage, but as the King connects with her,
it's going to the crystal skull is going,
this is a Bavala.
The crystal skull is going to alight with this like,
with this, um, jinxcraft energy as I'm going to use nine charges
of my elbow staff.
What?
What does that mean?
What the hell?
When I hit a melee attack, I, oh no, no, not nine.
I can, that's kind of up to three.
Oh my God, that would have been insane.
Oh, God.
I can't even imagine.
Yeah, he gets to cast a wish.
Or I'll say like 18 smites.
So I will deal 3D8 lightning damage to her.
That's still insane.
Oh.
That's insane, man.
It's nine points of lightning damage
and five points of bledging damage.
So 14.
Can I ask you what you were gonna do with nine?
And that was to Bavlornna again?
98.
That was to Bavlornna again.
Just to Bavlora.
Oh, you can help too.
And then the shadow's going to similarly bear with the game.
I think I just realized I'm the only one that doesn't have any artifact.
I don't know like magic.
Oh, because I hit her.
She used to make a win sick.
What?
You never gave you a shit?
I never got back.
That's so tall.
She's afraid of me until the beginning of my extra.
Oh yeah, you can be a bloodhunter.
Come on in.
Come on in!
I don't know.
Yeah, fuck this guy.
I got bubbling tags.
I meant to.
I was like, wait a minute, gear two.
And then he's like, oh my, my, my, my,
special stab, and I'm like, wait a minute.
I always, unfortunately, like,
always happens with Torbeck. I forgot about you.
It's fine. It's just very funny.
It's just very on-themed. It's very on-d-
all your name were Torbac.
Shit, no wonder I suck so bad.
This is a...
Oops.
You're good. You're good.
20 to hit. We should record by that.
It's episode 72.
We should fix that.
Yeah, for next week.
There's no fixing it. There's no fixing it.
Who are you attacking?
Bavlona takes 13 points of cold damage in the shadow.
That's so funny.
Oh my god.
Except for wishlight power, at least.
Nah, that'd be too good.
Okay.
They all take that damage.
That's it.
That's my turn.
All right.
We've been listening to this song for two hours,
and I fucking love it.
I'm not changing it because I've got too much to think about.
No, I'm saying it.
No, it's perfect.
It's perfect.
It is, it is Skabatha's turn.
Skabatha.
Skabatha.
Skabatha.
Skabatha is in range of that swarm thing.
So she's gonna look.
In my shadow, Torbitch right there,
if you're just kind of close.
She's gonna, you're huge right now, right?
I'm large.
She's gonna look towards you
and she's gonna attempt to attack you.
But I'm huge.
I understand that.
My mom says I'm huge.
My mom says I'm the hugest guy in school.
My mom says I'm gonna use one of my,
I'm down to I think one, one, whatever.
I used to dread.
This is that.
18?
18?
Huh?
To do what?
To hit?
Yeah, that'll hit.
Not all hit.
Oh no.
All out.
You're gonna take?
All out.
I won't block this one.
Come give me, you dumb summer bitch,
egg, you stupid bitch.
You're gonna take 11 points of necrotic damage
and you were exiled to the dollhouse.
And I'm exalted dollars.
A bonus, frankly.
I'm picturing a massive giant, huge Gideon,
and then Mr. Bong, frog, and Mrs. Duda, do.
No, I'm joking.
Don't leave my safe file.
And that is Scabbitha's turn.
Endelin is going to use her second layer action,
and she is going to turn and look towards, actually,
I need to roll a decent.
because that determines who she looks towards.
Me. Five. Five.
Frost. She's gonna turn and look towards Frost.
No? Frost. You are surrounded.
You are affected by curtain call.
All around you is a swirling area of magical darkness.
And as the spotlight finds you, you fall unconscious.
Oh.
And that is that, and it is Frost's turn.
I need you to make a wisdom saving throw for me.
Wisdom saving throw for me, please.
I didn't get an initial save?
Nope. Great.
Twistin.
Yeah, I definitely need a twist.
Yeah, I marked two more that I think.
Dirty 20.
That's enough.
Now I need you to make a wisdom saving throw.
Two wisdom savings.
So that was to see if he wakes up
from the unconsciousness, so you passed,
so you wake up from the
consciousness.
It's to see whether you lose your turn.
And now I need to make a con saving throw
to see if you steal yourself against being puppeted.
Being what?
Puppeted.
The layer action for this is that she is puppeting each of you.
25.
You are able to shrug it off.
She is not able to attach her tethers to your mind.
Excellent.
That's your car.
Am I still enveloped in darkness?
You're still enveloped in darkness,
but you're not unconscious.
That's until the end of your turn
and then it'll go away.
It would have been nice to happen
to someone whose turn wasn't next.
No, that's fair.
Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.
Can I, using my mind, target someone,
or do I have to use sight?
I'm asking out of flavor level.
Mechanically, there's nothing that says
on my character sheet or in the rules of the ND.
If it does not say you need to see it,
then you can do it.
If it's in range.
Ooh.
It has to be seen within range.
Then the magical darkness
would mean that you can't use your mind.
But I'm asking because.
Can you step out of it?
That's a class life.
No, it's essential on.
I got something to do with this.
I got something to do about this.
So it follows him.
Derek, I understand what you're asking, Derek,
but the point of the magical darkness
is to negate things like that.
So you would not
be able to in this case.
You could add 40 to you in your age C if you want to do both.
If you wanted to.
It's classic sorcerer. It's a classic sorcerer, everybody.
Classic.
We need to give Frost some sort of mindsets,
because I think in the diagetic reality of the world,
he'd just be like, oh, they're all here.
I agree. We need to give Tyshen the ability
cast three spells a turd.
I agree.
I think you give Torbeck more than a day.
Okay.
You have liquor.
You have liquor.
You have liquor.
So with that.
With that, I pause, I've fallen nails.
With that being what it is, how do I, how do I leave,
because there's no facing in D&D, how do I leave the darkness?
You don't, it's attached to you.
So you are stuck in magical darkness for your turn and it ends at the end of your turn.
You'd be able to hear all this happening.
So you can hear all of that stuff.
You can do anything that doesn't require sight, but you would not be able to do anything.
If you get right next to them, can you see them?
Nope, not magical darkness.
Wow.
Ain't that just Wahale.
It's so Wahlai.
That's extremely wahala.
I don't know you knew this.
Mono no wahlo.
Never forget it.
Ain't that just mono no wah la.
Well, this spell doesn't say I have to see anyone.
I cast a sorceress energy
as a creature or object within rank.
Yeah. Perfect.
Yeah.
So you can use your mind beans to figure this out.
I'll use my mind beam.
I get advantage on it because I still have my innate
sorcery rolling and I get a 21 to hit scabapho.
Okay.
Oh my god, it's midnight now.
I know, I know.
Yeah, I don't know how that happens.
I am like simple energy.
I know, and I got a little more,
I'm gonna rip that bad boy.
Hell, yeah.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna,
This is a 6 a.m. bedtime.
I'm sorry, guys.
I rolled an 8, and because of the sorcerer's burst,
I get to roll again.
You do.
You do?
It's exploding.
15.
So I do 15 psychic damages.
I reach out.
I find a mind that feels like scabitha's, and I crush it.
You got to get the bouncy ball, bro.
It's get you that bouncy ball.
That's not really fun.
That shit's great.
A bouncy mind ball?
I do like.
Spheres.
People have all of the other.
I hunger every world.
All the horns.
Met to all of yarn.
And I'm a cat.
I'm a cat.
I also like beans.
Let's fucking go, Gregos.
You guys are, you guys are making the point for me.
Get the horrid.
As the kids say, yes.
He does love worms.
I'm just, you, um, you do that damage and you,
you hear all of them, uh, all of them, uh,
all of them shrew.
as they take the damage together.
They're very frustrated.
And so that is Frost's turn.
As your turn ends, the spotlight leaves you.
She is then going to turn it on someone else.
She is going, this is her last legendary action.
She's going to, you know what, she's gonna turn
the spotlight to, actually you have to roll a D6 for it.
Cremant me roll a D6 for me, please.
Three.
She's gonna turn to you, Krami.
Yes, God.
And you are going to be consumed by darkness
as you fall unconscious.
Do you lose concentration?
I do.
Oh, no.
Forward.
Oh.
It's no.
It's no expected by enemy for them.
And then it is Clinko's turn.
I'm going to charge forward as I charge it.
I do this. I'm gonna do go here. Why did the thorn move back? Because I'm moving it back. And then I'm moving it back again
out in an in. Oh, okay. I don't know if it works that way. Does it not work that way? No, because they're not entering it. Yeah.
They can start their turn there. Maybe see when it moves within. I'm pretty sure.
Like spirit guards, you can't be like, boop, boop, boop, boop. I think it might be different.
The classic urnobics, double giant.
Everyone get away from it.
Ever get away from it.
The pack moves within 10 feet of a creature,
you can see.
Yeah, there you go.
Because the whole point that you can move it,
basically, you're sending this a stampede around.
Then they enter.
So is the pack affected by Frost's darkness?
No.
No, Frost doesn't have darkness anymore,
crime you guess.
Oh.
It's, they all need to make dexterity saving throws.
That is a D12, not a D20.
Babylona gets a 15.
I've made that mistake before.
Scampatha gets an 11.
Fittance.
There was the entire session of shot.
And Endelin gets a 22.
So two of them have failed.
Bavlornah is gonna use her legendary resistance.
Because when she uses her legendary resistance,
it works for all three of them.
So that means that all three of them have passed.
I hate that.
But they each only have one.
That would have been a lot.
A lot of damage.
So we've burned two.
No, because Endelen didn't.
She took her's back and she took the.
But we burned too.
No, just one.
No, was you burned mine?
No, because remember I told you she took it back
and she was, she did the fear thing.
Oh, you're right, she stayed feared.
She stayed feared.
With that, I'm a fear.
I'm going to say, oh, wait, Etron.
And then aren't you afraid of moons?
As I, the stampede goes away,
I use my action to cast it at a second level.
Moonbeam directly at the center of them.
so they all have to make the Constitution saving through.
Nice. Nice.
Nice.
That's, that's, that's clever.
Again from.
That's clever.
That's clever.
The orbital laser again from a zero.
That's gone.
Roll a D20 for me, please.
Ooh.
Just a straight D20.
17.
I would say that's high enough.
With Kremi's shadow swirling around him,
the darkness from the ability she used on him
with the moonbeam,
It almost looks like an eclipse.
That's what I'm thinking.
That's pretty cool.
Oh, is it the photo eclipse?
The only only can make a cons to do you're saving throw, I believe.
Calm.
He is a moon druid.
That makes sense.
No, I'm not there.
What are you doing?
So, con saving through.
I'm a little house.
I'm sorry, what did he say?
All need to be a con saving throw, DC.
Oh, you know what?
Before we do this, actually, I need you to make a con saving throw 17.
I'm playing Super GioMani.
I'm gonna twist.
Mega GioWI.
I'm playing mega Gio Ma.
Two twists.
Okay.
Khan, 21.
Okay, that passes.
And so then I need to make a con saving throw.
What?
DC16.
For who?
All three of them.
Oh.
Okay.
Well, Bavorna fails.
Because they're clipping.
Scabatha passes.
And Endelen fails, but she's gonna do
her legendary resistance.
so they're all gonna pass.
Okay.
So now you've burned two.
But even though they pass, they take half damage.
They're all going to take,
oh, five points of rating damage.
Okay, so they'll all take full damage.
So that would be 10.
10.
Technically 11, but that's fine.
So they don't take double.
I thought I did more than that.
I shouldn't have used my legendary resist on that.
I don't know, we're burning them.
You know what?
That's fine.
And then I am going to use my bonus action
as I roar up and I'm just gonna cast Wild Shape
again as a bonus action.
to basically get 18 temporary hit points.
Nice.
And that's my turn.
Okay, so she's out of legendary actions.
Gideon, it's the start of your turn.
You, um, you, um, you, you, you come out of it.
Oh, my God, Giovanni, you get those rails.
Oh, fuck now, man, I'm gonna save the princess.
Oh, hey guys.
And you find yourself.
There's a shadow, you can't see that I'm on the ground.
Oh yeah, you're like in darkness, aren't you?
And I'm in darkness again.
And then you would be too if you pop out right there
because you would be within the darkness range.
So you are, you were blinded.
Oh, oh, home.
Anyone else, do the Gideon's hands are tiny.
Look how small his hands are.
I wonder if you're just,
Dorek wonders if you self-conscious about his hands.
Oh, what I'm gonna fuck you.
Oh, man.
Oh, man.
He's still a larger than my head.
He's got 70-inch bicep and his hands.
Hands are for his cross.
It's just .
You can't control that.
You can't grow hands.
Get it, I'm over here.
You can't any hands bigger than him.
You know, I hear you man.
Oh, is it, wait, is the move beam still down?
Yeah.
Does the move beam like cast back the shadows?
No, it doesn't.
But when you move in that way,
though Endelen is going to make an attack of opportunity
against you.
Yeah.
Or, Bavlora technically.
Oh, Bavlora is going to.
She's going to miss, though.
So.
There you go.
through the darkness right oh yeah yeah yeah because they're hags did she hit me no no she failed
she i rolled a natural four just barely just barely missed so that's your turn uh take this punch
punch attack um and i'm just gonna i'm just gonna roll we'll start laying end on him get in punch
Genian punch! Pig punch!
Pongue.
Uh, 21 to hit Endo.
I'm gonna do it like this.
Alright.
You hit her.
She takes eight plus 12 points of damage.
12 or 8 plus 12?
No, sorry, 8 plus 4, she takes 12 points of damage.
On my first hit against her, I'm gonna activate gear one.
Pretend a train horn goes, a train whistle.
No, imagine.
I hear it.
True, true, too.
I hear it.
True, true.
This doesn't take action or a bonus action.
My chains will whip to life and wrap around Enderlin.
And you may make a strength saving throw.
You will take an additional eight points of fire damage.
But you have to make a strength saving throw as well.
She failed the strength saving throw.
I'm gonna use my last dread.
Dread?
Yeah, so I can re-roll.
The DC 16.
Oh, I got a 15.
She's all wrapped up.
She's all wrapped up.
And then four.
Oh, wait, did she do it against?
Endelen.
What was the saving throw?
Strength. Disadvanged.
Well, it doesn't matter, I failed anyway.
Oh.
She's dreaded, though.
She dreaded.
than some.
I'll now attack a second time,
and I'm now at advantage.
Still hits, so I'm gonna throw again,
that's a 25 to hit.
If any of the lovely mobs could tell me
if I have more dreads, that would be lovely.
You just got one right now.
Yes.
Two.
Two.
You got one 12 minutes ago, so I don't know if we didn't count
that one, you best go more.
I also give a shout out to the adventurous mods.
They are amazing.
Thank you.
the shit that Derek says.
Thank you, champions.
Thank you.
We love the Mons.
They are so amazing.
They deserve all the accolades in the world.
They're the best.
We love them.
18 additional points of damage.
Wow.
And how's she looking?
She's looking rough.
Especially the Moths.
She is, I don't think she's the weakest.
Oh.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Oh no.
She's definitely.
the weakest.
Oh, okay.
I will action surge.
Hey! There we go.
I will action surge and I will attempt another attack.
Okay.
Just out.
I'll twist it.
Twist it.
I'll twist it.
Come on.
Unless a 16, it's.
16 does not hit.
Twist it.
Twist again.
Just again.
Action surge.
How many taxes do you made this turn already?
I'll choose one more time.
It was a more time.
That was my second.
That was my second to hit.
This is my third.
One of the action search.
You get two attacks.
Apparently have three dreads now.
Thank you, Kim, Brad.
Twist again.
Twist again.
What the?
The same thing.
Why are you going to die?
Just again.
All right.
It's first we got left.
Okay, that's got a hit.
Is 17?
Is it 17?
That's their AC.
Okay.
Ooh.
And basically on the first try.
And wait, so you're saying I get two attacks again?
Yeah.
When you're action, it's a full action again.
A full action.
A full action.
Or if you'll three, first I'll full turn.
Is it used 13?
Not a turn.
No, no action.
No, the axi to turn.
You use 13.
14, 14, you push, that's 16.
Okay, well then, all right, let me roll this one.
So, an extra seven points of damage,
and I'll try and hit again.
Oh no.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's an attack.
Do you have no?
Natural 20.
Yeah, that was added, that was at it.
I added.
Okay.
It's an interesting question.
Maybe it's a little this time.
Okay.
Okay.
16.
I got extra 16 points.
Oh my god.
So the last one was 7, this was 16, 23 plus whatever I did before.
Okay, wow.
So I did like just to her in that time I did like probably over 50 damage.
Now you did a lot of damage to her.
Yeah, that's, that's accurate.
Wham! Wham!
Oh, is a bonus action?
You know that fighters are capable of tremendous damage.
Oh my god.
I think battle masters still the highest game.
the highest damage deal in the game.
They are all looking weakened.
They're, they still have, they still have
vitality to them, but they are,
they're in the last legs at this next.
I am just, you can go, I am just bonus actioning
to wind something, oh, second wind.
Baburna is going to look for someone who's in range.
I think Frost is in range.
Frost is in range of her.
I'm good.
She can see.
I'm right at her feet.
What's right?
Yeah, she's like within 30.
Yeah, yeah, she just needs someone who's
somebody's not melee, so she's not disadvantaged.
Got Frost.
Yeah.
So she's gonna attack Frost.
I'm not a melee tour.
She's here, the only person this melee tour is Cremie.
And I'm basically not combative at this point.
All right, she gets literally anybody.
It'd be reasonable.
Frost is a good, is a good thing.
I'm good.
Which one is she?
She's the one closest to Torbek, yeah?
Oh, no, no.
Closes to crummy.
She's right here.
She's right here.
She, yeah.
No, Floss is gonna be the one.
Frost is gonna be the one.
These two.
22 to hit.
22 to hit.
22 to hit?
I use shield.
Nice.
Oh!
With the darkness around me, I see this attack coming.
You don't have darkness around anywhere.
No, no, with the darkness around me
disappear.
Oh, got you.
I see this attack comes.
and I,
Oh, nice.
He meos from the next.
You know what?
I'm gonna use one of my new drebbs,
and I'm gonna see if I can get higher.
Yeah.
No, you're good.
You're fine.
No.
Hot-Bing.
Hot-Bing.
We leave it at that.
I'll leave it at that.
Folks, if we get in a hype train is possible in 30 seconds,
every level of hype tree we get
it's another twist for us in this boss fight.
Yeah, we need those twists.
I need you, I need you to do this just in case.
Yeah, I need you to roll your con saving throw
to see if you even hit them.
You have to roll a con saving throw because of the layer effect
of whether you listen to her command and direct those at.
I'm pretty good.
A con save? I have a plus 10.
Oh, Jesus.
Just roll it.
21.
Okay, that's good enough.
Nice, nice, nice, nice.
But it's important for me to, because if you're
going to twist through it, it gets rid of some of your twists.
So it's important to make sure, for sure.
Okay, that's Bablorn's turn.
It is prison.
Prismere's turn. It is also round four.
Does she move?
Which means, no, she doesn't.
Then she needs to make a call sleeping through
against a moonbeam.
Oh, do I have to do that?
She rolled a natural 18.
Natural 18 that succeeds,
and she'll take half damage.
Oh, that's meaningfully important.
I know.
Oh, it's 2D 10, who knew?
Fab.
Nice, 14, radiant damage.
Also, she takes seven.
Seven, so they will take.
Oh, was that Pavlona that just went?
That was Bavorn's attack.
Yes.
Yes.
Oh, that's Bavlora after me?
She took an extra 2D6 at the start of her turn.
Because she's all chained up.
She's fire chained up.
She's all revved up like a douche.
I thought Enderlin was the one that was wrapped up.
Don't you know that one?
No.
What?
Oh, no, I'm sorry.
It is Enderlin.
It is Enderlin.
It is Enderlin. My bad, my bad.
Okay, so then it is Prismier's turn.
This is round four.
All of the hags have executed their lair actions,
which means I'm gonna have you roll the D6 for me,
but it is now in a four, five, or six
that the alternative effect can happen.
Oh, and they team up?
Yeah.
Bum, bum, bum, bum,
four.
Oh, they team up.
You see as these hits go out, they're weakened,
they're slumping over, they're feeling horrible.
As Endlin, as Endelin calls
out for them to rally together.
She mentions the deception that you have pulled over their eyes,
that it is because of you that they are in this situation and not because of each other.
And that for once, let the sisters come together for the hourglass coven.
And then you hear Bavlornis say for the hourglass coven before Scabatha says for the
hourglass coven and they all begin to glow a almost sickening yellowish light as they begin to cast
witching hour. What the hell? That doesn't sound like it's from the ground. The ground beneath your
feet begins to mold and shape. It is not hither. It is not thither. It is not yon. It is all three.
you are under the effects of all three of their domains.
As time freezes for a moment,
as they harness the power of the hourglass,
and all three of them will attack it once.
Shit.
That's not good.
That's not good.
They are going, so Endelin is going to start,
and she is going to look towards.
And if she takes two, it's actually take one needs like a gauge.
Oh.
Oh, yes, I forgot to mention.
With time freeze, any active abilities,
any concentrations are nullified.
So anything that you have up is.
I was a joke, I was just kidding.
Oh, like, permac clears it?
It's basically a magic the gathering board wipe
where like all of your things that are on the stack or talk.
My enchantment.
I was just kidding about the blood curse anyway.
I forgot about your blood curse.
So.
It's fine.
Oh, man.
We need to give you an artifact.
Six, six, eight.
Yeah, he's fine.
I don't even have a trash can, Rich.
High Trade!
You have your points.
We're a level 15.
Torback 19 to hit.
Ooh, yeah, you got me, just got me.
And then can you roll a D6 for me, please?
I'd be honored.
Wait, am I able to react?
No.
Oh, it's time stopped.
It is time stopped.
You were all frozen.
You were in essentially a similar stasis
to what Zabylna is in right now.
Four.
Thank you, Gideon.
So you're going to take,
Oh, we're shamed damage.
You're gonna take seven points of necrotic,
both of your age, you're gonna take seven points
of necrotic damage as she uses Encore.
Immediately after, Scavitha is going to,
I'll have you roll another D6 for this, just for,
yeah, just for the fun of it.
Four again.
Gideon, she is going to attempt to you.
Oh no.
24 to hit.
Oh, what are you talking about?
Who are you talking to?
Do you?
Yeah.
Yeah, that one hits.
Are you sure?
Yeah, that'll sneak on in.
That'll sneak on past the defenses there.
It's barely.
That's barely.
That's barely.
Eight points of necrotic damage and you are exiled to the dollhouse.
Okay.
Shit, bro.
And then, immediately after,
Bavlornah is going to roll another D6 for me
and we'll just determine who she's attacking.
Rich, you roll this one.
Like that.
I'm gonna do this shit again.
Two.
Two, that's Torbeck.
Damn it!
She is going to turn towards you, Torbett.
You asked for this.
And a natural 20.
Fucking hell.
Wow.
Uh-oh.
This is good because she's using moisturizer.
None of that sounds good.
Not a single thing about that except.
No, it's not.
10 and the 6, so 16.
I'm troubled, guys.
20 points of necrotic damage.
And she is going to be.
going to heal for 20 points of necrotic damage,
and scaboth and endelin heal for 10.
I don't agree.
Which doesn't heal for the necrime,
strongly, okay.
Well, well, well.
Objection.
It's coming to this.
I say objection.
I'll say, oh, sorry.
That smells like Pennsylvania.
And that is everything that they do in Prismere's turn.
The land around
you is mountainous and swampy and overgrown with forestation.
You have negative two to AC, your damage is halved.
You'll take 1d4 damage on each of your turns
while you're inside of just the swamp area.
And you have to roll a constitution save and throw
against a command at the start of all of your turns.
All right.
And is Endlin's turn.
She is going to turn and look towards Frost,
because he's right now.
in front of her, and she is going to attempt to do the same thing,
and I got an 18 plus seven, that's gonna hit.
Yeah.
So that's gonna be one-dict.
I cast shield again.
Okay.
Well, it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
Oh no, this is a D-10, not a D-12.
It gives points of necrotic damage, and I need you to roll a D-6.
Uh-6.
That's Grico.
So you're also gonna take five points of necrotic damage, Grico.
I need one more turn.
I need one more turns.
One more turn, dude.
Before I die, I need one more turn.
You ain't getting there, bro.
It's going to be...
Torbeck, it's your turn.
So I will start by taking 1D4 damage.
You're going to start by taking 1D4 damage.
I take all four.
Don't worry.
Babelorne is going to heal for four, and they're going to heal for two.
I'm looking really wrong.
Make a concentration.
Then I must make a con saving throw, correct?
Yep.
I gotta twist this one.
Yeah, we got this one.
We got this one.
I got a natural 20.
Okay.
You passed.
So unfortunately, I blew that a little too.
I'm not gonna move, Bavala's like right up in my face.
I'm gonna attempt to make two attacks.
Okay.
Keep me honest, your mind.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Should you twist him?
Twisting.
Just give me one twist on each.
Just give me one twist on each.
That's all I'm asking for one.
Yeah, two twists.
Okay.
So, they both hit.
But, but many, many moons ago,
there was a young Seder stuck in a cage.
Yes.
And moments before that, Torbeck decided to drink
a lot of Femori and spit.
I like to cash it on my free 90-20.
Oh, okay, yeah.
To get a critical on one of these hits.
Hell yeah.
If that's okay.
Yeah, you do that as you begin to channel this.
And I'll say for the sake of the fact that you're using
from Morian spit, it's going to negate the have damage
that you're dealing with from Prismere.
And as this happens, you immediately smell the scent of roses.
roses. Oh, this is, oh boy. All of a sudden, now this is very different all these days later.
Okay, then in that case, I will roll 3D8. Oh, it's turned. Plus 10.
Torbeck has kept the bit in the side of his jaw the entire time. Every level we get, we get a twist.
We get a re-roll. Eight and seven is 13.
Come on. Again. Plus another eight. That's 16.
16 plus seven is 23, plus 10 is 33 points of slashing damage over two attacks.
Oh my God.
And that's all I got.
That's to Bavlona or Scabitha or Scyt.
We got that.
Beavlora.
Six Swiss.
And you said how much was it?
37.
33 points of slashing damage
over two attacks.
Okay.
If you need to split it up,
I can tell you exactly how much it was.
No, that's okay.
It's absolutely good.
It's not looking good.
It's a literal miracle I'm standing at all.
Well, we got twig and crammy next.
Twig and crammy.
Assuming and crammy, assuming they'll take
legendary actions.
We're both of God.
They don't.
They don't.
I think we just get up though, right?
We'll see.
Just for how this works,
they have to combine all of their legendary actions.
So each of them gets one legendary,
each of them gets three legendary actions in their domain.
So when it's Bavlornis, she gets three legendary actions,
but the other two don't get any.
At the start of the round, if they are friendly with each other,
which is the five or six on rounds one, two, and three,
four, five, and six on round four, three, four, five, and six as it goes.
Then they combine all of their legendary actions to work together,
and so they don't get any legendary actions for the rest of this round.
Is this book or is Nikki?
No, I read this.
I wrote this.
Nikki.
Yeah, she designed this whole thing.
Nikki is a fucking genius.
That's why I made a joke earlier, Sam was gonna write an angry letter to whoever
to sign this.
I didn't hear you say that.
I didn't hear you say that.
I said it's originally.
What a cool fucking encounter.
Holy shit.
Thank you, dear.
Thank you.
So, yes, they don't have legendary actions.
Let me do their...
Jesus, that's 16.
Each one of them takes 16 points when it's half?
That's nuts.
Okay, yes.
What I will say, looking at this,
you can see that Endelen is very clearly
the most damaged of all of these.
In order, Babylona seems to be the strongest.
She's been healing the most throughout this entire thing.
Scabatha is holding on very shortly behind her,
and Endelen is very clearly the weakest.
That was Torbeck's turn.
Twig needs to roll to see if she is not,
she is not unconscious any longer.
She goes upright.
Nice.
She shakes, she shakes the sleep from her eyes as she looks around and she is going to put,
seeing the weaknesses, she's going to put her hex on Endelin,
and she is going to then cast all of her Eldridge Blasts.
That hits, that hits, and that hits with her.
the Natty 20.
Oh my god.
There you go.
Okay, so this is actually, this is gonna be,
okay, I've gotta, so I'm gonna do the Natty 20 first.
This kinda sucks though, because it's still,
it is halved, she doesn't have Fomoriant's fit.
Wow.
18, so that is, that's nine for the crit.
And then the other two are.
It's so fun.
It's so fun.
It's fun to do.
It's fun to do.
It's fun.
Yeah, it's a little cheesy.
How do you need this?
It's fun.
Oh my.
Oh my.
We need to play and simulate a trial of seven.
She still does 31 points of damage.
Oh my God.
And so that is to, she was doing that at Endeline.
Hell yeah.
So that's 32.
Okay.
That is, Endelen is looking incredibly weak at this point.
As she is stumbling forward, her sisters who had been completely against her up until,
this past few moments are trying to hold her up,
trying to keep her in this fight,
knowing that they need her.
You see that they are almost connected to each other
in a way that they look afraid at how weak she is right now.
And with that, it is Cremie's turn.
Do I wake up?
I make a concert, right?
Yes, you need to make another cons saving throw.
Because 20-fold.
Oh, yeah, you wake up.
Is it still dark around me?
the dark also gone.
Oh, no, the darkness is gone.
Okay.
I immediately spring up.
Gid's gone.
Twigs up.
That's right.
Torbeck looks pretty fucked up.
Oh, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad.
It's either us or them at this point.
Yep.
Come on, damn, we need this.
I need this.
I still have my dread form on, I think,
unless it goes away when I...
Oh, shit, if you know,
being in capacited.
Oh.
That would be a nightmare.
I think it was clear regardless, right?
You'd have to use it again?
No, that works.
I didn't use it again.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
Either way I would use it again.
It's a get temp HP.
Yeah, worth it.
Nice.
We got eight temp HP, and the shadows,
I start to drink the shadows of Bavornah,
Scabatha, and Endelen as I gain my form of dread again,
and I'm glowing.
But the shadows almost keep pulling,
and there's this tether of just the three of them,
What?
As I take my turn, hold on, hold on, hold on.
I'm not gonna do, it's eight, 10bhp.
Oh, that's 80, holy shit.
Yeah, it's 80, it's fine.
Eight, 10bhp.
Don't forget you have negative two to AC
and your damages have.
Oh, you need to roll a D4.
And so does Twig actually.
Twig takes one D4.
Twig takes one damage.
So I took the three before I got the temp HPA.
Correct.
So I take three damage, boop, damage.
Just shit.
I dropped the cowlchral.
It doesn't know.
It's all the same.
It's all the same.
All that's all happens.
But the shadows that are looking about,
it's almost like I'm drinking
in the shadows of Endelen,
Scabatha, and Bavlora as I cast shadow
drain at a third level.
Damn, that's a call it, bro.
What the hell is that?
And you're doing this to who?
To, so I'm not doing to any of them.
Oh.
For a minute with concentration,
15 in a 15 foot radius around me.
I siphon away the vitality and sense of self
through shadows of nearby creatures
and a 15 foot emanation originating form from me.
They need to make a charisma saving throw.
Charisma.
Charisma.
We haven't gotten to breaking up hell.
Their stones are incredibly special.
It's okay, Bablornah fails.
Scabbatha passes.
And that sucks.
That actually really sucks.
I wish Scabatha had failed.
And then Endelen fails.
Scablissa is the only one that has her legendary resistance,
but because she passed, she can't use it.
So it deals eight necrotic damage to all of them.
Okay.
Which is double.
Oh, which is four, so it's eight.
But if they pass, so no, it's eight.
But if they pass, they can take four damage.
If they fail, they take two damage.
But they all get hit by it.
Yes.
So I'm hoping it gets double.
It comes back.
Because they all get hit by it.
It's doubled.
Okay.
So basically if they pass, they get eight,
if they fail, they take four.
And that's when they enter the emanation.
If they fail, they take eight.
Sorry, yes.
If they fail, they take eight, if they pass, it take four.
That's what I meant to say.
And that's already, that's halved, right?
That should be the correct damage.
So basically, because they take double,
but because of my damages half, it balances out.
Yep. And so the correct number is eight damage
if they failed, four if they passed.
Yep, thank you.
Total, you don't have to do any more math.
And this last,
for a minute as long as they maintain concentration,
then when they start their turn,
they need to make another Christmas save if they're within it.
Start the turn, that's pretty great.
I think.
Yep.
Yep. And that spells from the crooked moon, folks.
Nice.
Oh, damn, that's cool.
It is Scabatha's turn.
Scabatha is in it.
Yeah.
Well, she passed last time.
Does that matter?
She makes another one.
Okay.
Damn, so maybe she keeps passing.
She is, oh, but she's still gonna take half damage
half damage, right?
She's still gonna take half damage?
She'll still take half damage.
She'd take half half if she passes.
Which will be zero, because I will three.
Okay, she's gonna legendary resist it.
That's the final legendary resistance.
It's the final legendary resistance.
They're desperate, so she'll do that.
And so then it's her turn.
She is going to, oh, she can trap another person in the house.
She's gonna try and do that.
She's gonna look towards, who's in front of her?
Who's who?
She's Gabitha.
It goes in front of her.
She's gonna turn towards you, Kremi.
And she's gonna point her finger at you
and attempt to cast play down.
I got a 19 plus seven, so that's gonna hit.
She's gonna turn towards you.
Honey's home, and she's gonna cast this spell on you
and send you to your husband.
So you are gonna take damage.
You're gonna take 12.
of necrotic damage and you're exiled into the dollhouse.
Is there a save against it?
No.
Are we in the same place?
It's a two hit.
Yeah.
You're both inside of the...
What do I see when I get there?
Yeah, what do you see?
You would find Mega Giovanni
632 playing on the TV and me slumped over,
almost reaching for the controller, slumped over in the chair.
Not breathing.
Oh, tuck it out, little guy.
Must be sleepy from all that, man.
You do.
Okay, and that is Gabbitha's turn.
Gidia?
I'll just save this game.
Frost. I need you to roll a D4.
Two.
Okay, you're gonna take two damage.
How much? Of what variety I should say?
Necrotic.
Thank you.
And I have to make a Constitution saving throw.
And you have to make a Constitution saving throw.
I'm gonna get a 17th.
Okay, that passes.
And you can take your turn.
I once again lift myself up,
conjuring as much willpower as I can.
I will use my feline agility to race over here.
And I'm going to once again use the opening move
that was so effective at the start of this round.
Oh, do we need a resist?
against something else?
So it's 1d4 and then it's a con saving.
Yeah, those are the only two.
And then you're negative,
and half damage.
That's everything that's going on.
Is it the con the house?
No, the con is control.
Did I mean?
I did.
You did.
I did.
I did.
I'm going to channel my psionic energy.
I leap off of Grico's wild-shaped form
and land not on the ground,
but there's still a puff of energy
as I almost land in the air,
levitating almost,
and I will conjure another sphere
and then release it.
It expands at a rapid rate
and blasts forward.
It does not reach twig,
but Grico, you will have to make a constitution
saving throw along with the three hags.
DC 17.
Nice, nice, nice.
I got a four.
for Bavlornah.
I got a three for Scabitha.
And I got a 10 for Endelen.
I will use three.
And you said it was a what kind of throw?
Constitution.
Okay.
No.
The highest would have been a 14.
I won't have to use any sorcery points.
And I don't even have to save you.
They all get pushed back 15 feet in Twigs direction, but they also take.
Wall load.
Well, we'll see.
Don't forget a town.
Depends on if she can.
Would she push in to Twig?
So it's actually just straight.
It's just straight.
Would she push into Twig?
If she's pushed back.
Towards twig, but not, like it doesn't hurt Twig.
Like, it doesn't hurt Twig.
They all take 20 points of force damage
and they are pushed 15 feet in that direction
as I send this massive psionic blast forward.
You see as Endelen crumbles.
She is holding on by a thread.
Oh.
You see that one of her puppet strings is coming down from the canopy, and it is the only thing holding her up right now.
She is bleeding from her mouth, slow, shallow breath.
You can see all the ribs moving in her chest as the skin is almost tight around each one of the bones.
The life drained from her. She is barely alive.
Yeah, that's your turn.
Grico, I need you to roll a D4.
Oh, fuck.
One point of acid damage.
Ooh.
Nice.
Uh, halved.
Yeah, that's true.
That's true.
No.
No, they're not.
It's her effect, so.
You know what?
You tried here.
Yeah, you almost got me.
I tried.
You really did.
You really did.
I almost let that happen.
I was like, oh yeah.
Yeah, damage is half.
And then I need a Constitution
to saving throw from you.
I'm gonna twist it.
I'm supposed to it.
I'm supposed to sing it.
Yeah, no, no.
I'm twisting it.
The three.
I'm twisting it.
What is it happened to these dice?
You neglect and abuse them.
I'm twisting it, five.
Okay.
20.
Yeah, that passes.
Thank you for the twist chat.
I should be 18.
We used 20.
Okay, I'll say at least 18,
because last time I checked it was 30.
We've used 20, yeah.
So that means we have seven left.
Twists remaining 12.
No, that's wrong.
We use 12.
We got another hype train while we were...
Oh, I didn't count that.
Yeah, we did.
I'm sorry.
It jumped up.
I was only counting the original 27.
I don't even know.
What level was the 136?
Yeah, I have no idea what the I train got to
while we were planned.
No idea.
But I know we got another one.
After the hype train, I thought I thought it was.
So it's seven plus whatever our other hype train was?
18, I thought we were.
There's no way we got another 18.
No, no, I thought we were at 18 after the hype train.
That's another 11?
That's crazy.
I didn't think was that out.
Um, what I'm going to do.
I'm no fucking one.
If I'm going to step here, and as I'll rear up in my owl bear form, my intention is that an owl bear, owl face is going to appear as the moon, kind of this rounded face.
I'll raise my hands as I start to channel magic, but I'll need to drop my wild shape in order to do this.
Hell yeah.
As I'll say,
you worried about
an eclipse?
And then I'll give you one
as I will channel out
as a burst of this
garris sun, almost like a bloody
sun on an eclipse.
A day of red eclipse.
Oh.
Blast down as I cast
another crooked moon spell
Scarlet Dawn.
Ooh, that's a good one.
As...
That's a good one.
They will all need
to make constant savings fail.
Okay.
Oh, I like that dice size.
18 for Bavlona.
That's a pretty thing.
Passes.
Five for Scabitha.
Fails.
Thirteen for Endelen plus, what, did you say what?
DC-16.
Yeah, but what did you say?
The Cone.
Oh, okay.
So Khan is, no, so she doesn't make it.
Wait, what did I say she rolled?
It's plus three.
Whatever it was, I said she rolled plus three.
You said 12.
12.
So that, yeah, so it doesn't make it.
15.
So one pass and two fails.
Yeah, that's Laurenne passes and a little
if they passed, they're gonna take half of this,
but they still take the damage.
So 10, 19, 26 points of necrotic damage.
So then half of that, because it's doing half damage right now.
Yeah, 26, 13, 13, 13 if they fail, 26.
Yes.
But it's all of them.
Yes, it affects all of us.
So it basically is 26 if they failed.
13 if they succeeded.
The final tether holding and one up snaps.
Let's fucking go.
Immediately you see the rocky terrain
that had been beneath you, the storm clouds overhead
dissipate in an instant.
As both of her sisters take double the amount of damage
that you thought they were going to.
With her demise, the pool of health is now different.
Instead of, so Bavlona saved, scabbatha failed,
so Bavlona should have taken,
half. She should have taken the full amount.
It's doubled now. So it's just, it's different.
So now, like, I guess the way I'm trying to explain, I didn't explain it very well.
So if Bavornah takes damage, Scabatha gets half of it.
Now, if Bavlora takes damage, Scabatha gets the full amount of it.
That's what I'm trying to say.
That makes sense.
Yeah.
I think you understand that.
You're welcome. I was like, I realized it did not explain that very well.
How much damage did you say that they took?
26 or 13 if they passed.
Okay, so it's just, both of them just take 26.
And that's a single blast.
And it just blast down.
And if there were any undead or construct,
they would have healed by the same amount.
Whoa.
Oh, they would have healed.
That's very fun.
And I'm gonna back it.
Okay, wow.
That one is a while.
Okay, so that happens.
Their AC has dropped from 17 to 15.
This is Endelen dead.
Endelen is dead.
Oh my god.
That was Grico's turn.
So Gideon, Gideon, you appear in the swampy,
in the swamp of, I know, this is really sad.
And you're immediately going to take acid damage.
So if you can roll a D4, put the acid damage you take.
I actually don't think I roll the damage.
I think I just take a death safe.
Oh, yes, that's, well, I still need a D4
because it determines how much she heals.
How much both of them heal.
Okay.
So I rolled it, it's a two.
Okay.
So I have one failure.
Yep.
Do not roll an after more.
Everyone close your eyes.
You all gotta close your eyes.
Everybody close your eyes.
And I want you to show me over here under the table
so that chat can't peek.
You mean roll on the floor?
No, no, no, I want you to roll it,
Then I want you to either thumbs up or thumbs down.
Oh, oh, oh,
depending on if you.
Okay, thank you.
All right.
Oh, boy.
Man, why did I introduce this mechanic?
That's a fucking nightmare.
That's Gideon's turn.
Bavlornna, it's Bavlornna's turn.
She is going to look around and who,
where is she and who does she see immediately?
How dare you?
Bavlora is closest to Gideon and, oh no, that's us.
other side, purple one.
Babeluna is this one.
Yes, if I'm gonna roll a D20 to see.
She wants to,
if it's odd, she is,
she is aiming to fight one of the people standing.
If it's even, she's going for the downed person.
Actually, I'll have you guys roll it
so that you can see, just for it's fair.
Even is one of you guys.
What is this, a D6?
A D20.
I guess it doesn't matter.
Even, actually, no, do the D6
and then I'll use my, my lips.
to see who she attacks.
Four is Gideon.
Five.
Okay, she's gonna attack Frost.
So she's gonna look towards you Frost
and she's going to attempt to attack you.
Does she get melee range?
Does she move to her?
No, she's doing ranged.
Because her ranged ability is the one
that heals her and her sister.
Got it.
That's not any way.
20.
I have my reaction back, I'll use shield.
Okay, that's her turn.
And so that's that.
That is Prismere.
They are going to roll a D6 to see if they can keep this up.
I got a six.
So they are keeping it up.
Both the effects are still in as they attempt to attack you.
Just six.
Let's see it was there.
So that is Prismere.
Both of their layers are gone off.
Oh, would I think I'd like to roll any other stuff on my turn?
I don't think it matters.
Because it was in like triple Prismar?
So the only thing, so Endelen was already gone,
so you didn't need to rule that.
You took the damage from the D4.
The only other thing is you have negative to AC
and your damages halved.
So you didn't need to do anything else.
So now it is Prismere.
They don't just auto go this turn.
That only happens the first time that it changes the yawa.
I'm just getting ready.
Oh, yes.
So it's Endelin's turn.
She's dead actually.
So Endedlin is gone.
I'm straight.
Yeah, yeah.
Endedlin is dead.
So Torback.
Poison?
Yeah.
Poison, poison.
Come on.
Roll one.
I did roll one.
Let's fucking go.
I managed to stay on my feet.
Wow. God.
Scabitha looks the weakest.
Bablornah is the strongest.
I'm out of juice here, guys.
I'm, which is sad because this is my feet turn.
I've got nothing left.
It ain't easy being pink.
No, I have nothing left.
All I can do is move forward to attempt to make to attacks.
One of them's looking real bad, though, you said.
Spavitha is looking the weakest.
Bavlornah is looking the strongest.
I can't get to.
I gotta go from Bavlora.
I won't choice.
Oh, I have to resist the control.
No, she's dead.
She's dead.
Okay, two attacks.
You just have half damage.
It's not my night.
Twist them, twist them.
Two twists.
One's a natural 20.
Oh!
The other one hits.
The other one hits.
Let's fucking go.
Okay.
So big damage, big damage.
Eight.
Nineteen total damage.
Oh.
halved?
Yeah.
Or is that halved?
Yeah, that is.
The max halved would be 10.
Nine.
Nine.
Nine.
Nine down.
I'm gonna rebuild torment next.
Yes, yes, yes.
Some of those are slightly good.
I threw a artifact, so I thought to message you about it,
and then I forgot to message you.
And I would have been like,
just what I got to think about last week.
They both take damage as you slice into that.
Scabatha is looking exhausted.
Her.
Her limbs are, she's going full-blown Pinocchio.
You're watching as she's turning into a doll herself,
wooden and splintered, and her skin is breaking open
as she's trying to keep herself up, but she is barely holding on.
Bavlornah's skin is dry and cracking,
no matter how much you are healing her,
it is just not enough.
And that is Twig's turn.
Twig is going to look towards, she's gonna look towards
Gabitha because she's she's smart cookie and she's going to attempt to hit with all three of her
Eldritch blasts no crits but all three hit thank God and as her bonus action she's
gonna move her hacks over as well so I didn't roll well I rolled a four and a one and a one okay
six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve that really sucks but 12 plus 15 so it's
It's 27, but that's halved.
So, what's half of 27?
Why can't I do math? 13.
Yeah.
So, Bavlorna's going to take 13.
I almost said 25.
Big brain on Gringo.
I almost said 25.
Oh, and.
You're being the quick math, man.
My brain's slowing down.
Yeah.
In this moment, you watch as Twig lets loose three bolts of her magic.
And as it blasts into Bavlona, you now see that Bavlona, you now see that
Pavlornah is looking even weaker than Scabatha.
Pavlorna is barely holding on.
Her skin is cracking open and bleeding.
And she tries to smile and sneer at you.
You watch the pores of her lips crack open
and blood begins to drip down her face.
The lornelings that were hanging attached to her
or have all shriveled up and they're now dead
holding onto her clothes and their final death throws.
as that is her turn.
Remi.
Remy, D4, please.
Oh, he comes back.
As you come back from the house.
Yes, you come back to the house.
You do three damage.
She heals for three points.
Get, get.
He's not prone from the house.
Is he?
No, no, you just appeared.
She was unconscious.
So the eminations is still going.
So it enters in their rounds,
so they both need to make Christmas saving cards.
You choose to that hits, right?
I do, I do.
Well, thank you.
They can choose people to ignore.
Oh my God.
When it says you name.
18 and 15.
15.
15 fails, 18 passes.
So Scabatha fails.
So it's nine damage, but if they pass,
they take four, if they fail, they take two.
But it's doubled.
It's doubled.
So you had said.
So yeah, six.
So they take nine if they failed, four if they passed.
Scabatha, who failed, had eight health.
Four.
So.
You watch as brittle and wooden now.
Her eyes no longer showing life.
They are now just these painted, these painted sockets.
As she begins to crack and break,
her joints falling apart as she lands
in the acid bath at your feet.
Scabatha dead at your feet.
How much did Bavlorna take?
Four?
You said?
Yeah, it was four.
Four.
Desrod.
Get him, baby!
Scab him!
Because you passed.
Stay blessed.
Immediately you see Babylona looking around horrified.
All of the verdant, or the crooked and gnarled trees of thither have completely dissipated.
You feel your toy forms begin to shift back into your regular forms.
Your weapons are now metal.
Your claws are truly your claws.
Your aces have returned to the way that they were.
You no longer feel like your damage.
is being affected by this.
As you stare down the final hag of the hourglass coven,
Vavlora, her AC is now 13.
Oh, just let her have it.
She now takes double damage being the only hag left.
She's vulnerable.
I turn to give.
Can you help him?
And I'm gonna walk up to her.
And I'm, without a word, I'm gonna take my cane
and just press it against her head.
Like the, just basically, just her form.
Whenever I can get, she's short,
I'm literally like, press it against her.
her head as I'm going to cast inflict wounds.
Oh yeah, that'll do it.
At a third level.
That'll do it.
I need to make an attack roll.
Don't pull Alethica right now.
Do not pull a Leithica right now.
I'm gonna twist it.
Twist it.
This was.
Bro, absolutely.
We're twisting until we fucking, we hit it.
That hits.
That's gotta hit.
It's a 20 to hit.
Yeah, her easy's 13 now.
Because it gets it a fifth level,
it deals 5D10 damage.
She has two hit points, so that kills her.
The jazz gets returned and it's louder and louder
and louder as the shadows are being kind of consumed
and almost her flesh and life essence
kind of get drunk into the crystal skull on my cane.
You press your weapon, your cane to her forehead,
and you watch as this magic just completely shatters
her now powdery and cracker.
body, she bursts into dust in front of you.
As you watch, as the sky above you,
the clouds are a soft, fluffy white.
The sky is a beautiful, a robin's egg blue.
The ground beneath your feet no longer sopping wet
and covered in acid.
Any remnants of the hourglass coven now gone.
We're all level seven.
Oh, woo!
As you look down at this place, you are tired, you are exhausted.
But Prismere has reclaimed this area around the palace of Hart's desire.
And you walked Wittershins.
You cast an eclipse.
You were hopefully the first person that
that Skabatha saw, well, you were the first person
that Skabatha saw upon entering this portion of Prismar.
And if everything that you hope to be true is true,
there is no way that they could possibly come back.
You feel hopeful for now.
And then you look and you see Gideon.
Okay.
Quickly, quickly.
Quickly, get to him.
I am gonna have you just for the sake of all of this.
And because you have been an acid,
I am gonna have you roll another death saving throw before.
Because we are no longer in initiative,
so I am gonna have you roll up.
And then I want you to show me under the table.
You got it, boss.
Oh, no.
Okay, perfect, thank you.
You, uh, Grico, you rush over to Gideon.
And he is looking very, very unwell.
He is barely, barely holding on.
I am going to play a little tune.
Shit guys.
I was like, boo pooh, pao, pao, pao hags are dead,
as I will, uh, bo bo bo bobobobo.
Grico, was that you?
And I'm gonna play a little song as I'm going to basically cast a cure wounds
at a first level.
Did I get them?
And I will deal a bit of, oh, it's actually really strong now.
Ooh, it's 2D8, so,
13 points of healing in to Gidea.
Shit, guys.
level spell slot.
Go, do we do it?
We got it!
We did that,
Lord!
Oh, we did it!
That was close!
The eggs are dead!
They're gone.
Oh my God, oh my God.
Oh, man.
I guess the rebellion counter worked in a way.
I'm shocked.
I didn't expect that.
Oh, how much was I'm sorry?
Oh, 13 points of healing.
God.
We did.
We did.
We did.
Are you okay, Twig?
Hootie!
Do you hear nothing?
Do you already build a trout smoking contraption or something?
A rabbit trap?
Was there some lovely A.S.M.A.?
Hoochie, are you here?
Where did it? We killed the eggs.
You can come back out, Uchee.
You hear nothing from Hoosie.
I'm just gonna go into the woods.
I'm just gonna try to find her.
I would say it's very clear that she has traveled
further and further into the woods.
You would have to leave her.
this place and start heading towards the palace to find her.
Okay.
We had to go right now.
But the, we're flying circus, kid.
He's spent so many minutes working on.
Oh, man, I spent so many minutes.
Think of that all those minutes.
Do we see the records?
Oh, I need a battle.
Yeah.
Now that everything's cleared away and it's not obscured by...
Are there any hag bodies?
Are there any what?
Hag bodies?
No.
I kick them.
Completely...
It's like in the original Wizard of Oz.
When the Wicked Witch of the East
like her feet roll up and she just disappears
into the earth, it's just like that.
I spit on the ground.
Stupid hags broke my cool badass flying machine,
man, my flying circus.
I guess we should at the very least
take some time to say some words
and perhaps give it a nice burial at flame.
You're talking about the hag?
The flying circus.
I guess all of the crazy implements
betrayed us in the end and caused us to crash.
I'm not foreseen that happening.
I was building it, man.
I mean, it never even occurred to me.
When I was connecting the parts, you know, it was just,
how can I have foreseen that their mouths would turn against me and destroy themselves?
None of us could have foreseen to get him.
There's no way anyone could have foreseen it.
No one could fault you for that, Gideon.
It just doesn't at all seem like that's something that would have happened.
Get in.
One of your greatest joys is building and engineering.
You will rebuild.
That's true.
You will be able to start again.
Think about all the improvements you can make when you start again.
Wow, Frosty.
That was really quite moving.
That got me.
Also, can we all take a moment?
I have something badass to say.
Oh.
Oh, wow.
Dang, you put it like that.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, but can you, like, do it real quick because I'm sleepy?
Hourglass, Coven.
You're time.
is up.
Yeah!
Amazing.
I try to shield Gideon's knife.
No, he can't do it.
I won't even make him roll for it.
He can't do it.
Oh, what?
Okay.
I also won't make him roll for it.
He can't do it.
He can't do it.
It's very clear.
It's very good.
Oh, my God.
Damn it.
Okay.
Oh, fine circus.
They say the four wheels moves the body,
but two wings moves the soul.
Oh.
Oh.
You were a great mount while you lasted all those minutes.
You got small and then you got big.
You took us hither, thither, and yon.
Oh, that was good.
And then you crashed here because you betrayed us all in the end.
Yeah.
Because you were made of egg parts.
Oh, no.
And, well, it was cool while lasted.
Well, this, I still got Fat Hogg.
Oh, yeah.
I love tongue.
Ash, it's all ash.
The contents of that.
ship or ash.
Bummer.
Today is the worst day
ever. It's going to be okay.
Come here, Twink.
The good news is we're not that far from the gas.
She'll give you a big hug.
Yeah, we gotta make our way.
Do you think because it's called
the Palace of Hard's Desire that
if we go there, I'll be able to have
hungry, hungry hymbo's back?
You know what? Almost certainly.
Almost certainly.
Yeah. Yeah.
I'll play a very sad
rendition of the parting glass on an
alkyan as
as Gideon presumably will burn the
wreckage and put it to us.
That was moving,
Gricka. Thank you.
Anyone want to make some schmores?
No, we got a fun. Okay.
She's bushcrafted.
We have time for his Schless.
Oh, I've never
had a schless.
And we got a date with a king of us.
Oh, yeah, but he's waiting for us.
So just so I'm clear, we're kind of in like
the wooded hill, there's the valley where it's in what's in the fog.
Yes.
And we're like at the top of the wooded mountains around it, presumably.
Like looking down into it or if you go down into it.
We're in the territory of it.
You're in the territory of it.
And if it weren't one o'clock in the morning,
I was going to have you make some skill checks to hide yourself from the Jabberwock.
Give me a quick skill check.
But we're not going to do that.
Natural 20.
I need two of them.
Well, you know what, funny enough, a natural 20 is really awful against the Jabberwalk.
It's the opposite.
Oh, the Jabberwows.
He loves 20s.
He eats them for breakfast.
He's his brother too, we have a job.
He eats pieces of shit like you for breakfast.
That's very nice.
Come on, guys, let's go find Hootie.
But we're not gonna do that.
But for the sake of brevity,
you decide to head out into the woods.
And you don't have to do much looking.
At first, you're easily able to see
the path that Hootsie took.
And you're able to see the path that Hootsie took.
And you're able to see.
what caught her attention and led her deeper in.
Very clearly laid out a little ways into the tree line
is a path of red rose petals.
And as you begin to follow them,
you begin to see over the treetops
the spires of the Palace of Hearts Desire
coming in closer and closer and closer.
You imagine it will take you
maybe 15 minutes or so of travel
to get there following this trail of flowers.
Oh, shit.
Right up.
Is there anything that the five of you want to do
before you arrive at the palace?
Oh, we got to make sure that,
we got to make sure that we have the stuff
for the King of Harts when he sees us.
Yeah, well, Torbeck's got two of the three pieces.
I think I might have one of them.
I think Gideon has them.
I think nine and third.
Why don't you give him the one
and then you have a sword.
Here, there you go, Torbeg,
you have whichever one I don't have,
whichever one you don't have.
You have the pieces of the swords.
Right.
The piece of the sword.
Torbeck has all the pieces.
I've got all of the pieces.
I've got ball bearings, a bed roll, a bell, a blanket,
pole-side lantern.
Gosh, I hope the King of Hoss is here.
And so there's nothing that you just,
you pass this stuff out and that's all you need to do.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
I'll take my Elton location later.
I don't think there's a feature or trait.
No, no, and Torbick doesn't have any magic items.
And Torbick can't do anything on a short or long run.
I do have dark vision.
That's wonderful.
Actually, you know what, for the same.
of it, Torbeck, you're the only one who doesn't level up.
Actually, I just flush my nudity.
You're level down.
Yeah, Torbick, you actually go to level five.
Oh, that makes sense.
Just another day for Donner.
Torbeck should have known.
You travel for about 15 minutes.
You're all feeling invigorated.
You've done the things that you needed to do.
You have vanquished the hourglass coven from this place.
And even though you don't have the flying circus,
to fly up into the sky, to see
see what is happening throughout the lands of Prismere.
You saw the efforts that your rebellions were making.
And you know that that gave you the time that,
even though they didn't stop the hags,
it gave you the time that you needed
to collect the three pieces of the Purple Sword.
And you know that they are working diligently
to free the children from Lume Lurch,
to rescue everyone that was trapped inside of Motherhorn,
to to, to,
to rescue all of downfall from the ever-present malevolence
that was bevorned blightstraw.
They are taking back Prismere for themselves.
And with the destruction of the hourglass coven,
there is nothing standing in their way
from making Prismere what it had been before,
what it had always been intended to be,
a place of dreams, a place where anyone can
find their heart's desire. And it is with this hope and with this feeling of success that you follow
this trail and make your way towards the Palace of Hearts Desire itself. And it doesn't take too long
before you see the tree line begin to thin. The trail of roses seems to get thicker and thicker
until it's almost a pathway beneath your feet. And eventually you step out of that
tree line and in front of you are the huge gates of this palace, the palace stretching out behind you.
It is magical, it's beautiful. There's a warmth about it that feels almost overwhelming.
And standing in front of that gate with Hootsie at his side scratching along her little owlbear head
is none other than the King of Hearts. His outfit completely pristine, his mask
affix perfectly to his face.
He looks as dashingly handsome as he ever has.
Be cool, be cool.
As he looks up from scratching on Hootsie's head,
and he looks up to you, though you can only see part of it,
though you can, the mask obscures most of his face,
you're able to see a broad smile stretch across his face
as he looks towards you.
Well, it looks like you've done it.
Did you ever walk around?
I've heard it.
It's lurking somewhere in this forest.
We have...
But you've brought me what I asked.
You've vanquished the hourglass coven.
We sure did.
Yeah, they're all dead.
The last one of them.
I knew I was doing...
I knew it was fate that I was doing what was right
by putting my faith in my nights.
Whatever.
We got to shit.
beaten out of us.
Yes, it was a hard fight.
You got your stuff.
But you have my stuff.
We did.
The tokens of the hourglass coven, please.
Oh, yeah.
Dormant has a fate.
Dormack's got him right here.
Just hold on.
D'ormack is masking a lot of,
I mean, hiding a lot of pain right here.
Here you go, all three.
He reaches out and he holds them in his hands.
There were moments I was not sure I would ever see.
these items let alone hold them in my hands past present and future combined together and he holds on to them tightly almost covetously and my blade
yeah well the pieces of it at least it's like it wants to be whole but i can't figure it out i was hoping you can put it together
and as you as you hold it out you watch as it rises into the air and begins to float towards it and it starts to float towards
towards him, the way that it's trying to put itself together,
it seems to also be drawn to him.
And as he reaches out his other arm,
the hilt lands in his palm, and once it does,
the rest of the pieces connect immediately
and lets off this radiant silver light.
You watch as he's almost surrounded by this light
as he holds onto it.
You can feel the magic all around you
as he looks down at it and he sighs.
A contented sigh.
I feel complete.
I feel whole.
So with those things are fake,
you can like break your curse or whatever?
And like you can do,
you know, everything is good with the sword.
Like you can basically wake up as a billionaire
and everything's going to be fun
and we're not dead to Mr. Garun no more.
And you can save the damsel
and beat the jabber walk and...
Go back to Madrick and get the money.
My love will no longer be kept.
from me and I owe it to you to my knights.
Wow. I like that you keep saying that.
That's really swell.
Kneel before your king.
And allow me to use my reforged sword to knight you.
I never nodded before.
Oh, yeah, fellas.
Toy first, toy first.
Oh, wait, no, y'all at least get second.
Come on, let's get knotted.
Being a knight's pretty, it sounds pretty cool, oh man.
Yeah.
I've been out of before.
I've never been out of before.
You've been out of before.
Rossi, we're gonna be nuts.
What does that mean?
Is it a title?
Does it come with duties, responsibilities?
What it was?
I've never been knighted before.
As the rest.
You pledge yourself to be brave, honest, and true.
To fight for your king and your realm.
And give revenge of that damn old Jabberwark.
After what he did he was, probably.
They'll come with great power and money.
and lands and stuff, right?
Oh, lands, land and nights?
Oh, and money?
When Prismere is rightfully in the hands of its queen.
Oh, I'm immediately, Neil.
Lands are the least of what we can offer you.
Wow.
Wow.
That's pretty cool.
I need a dumb old fucking carnival.
I'm saying, I mean, this, yeah.
All paintedly fall to a knee, you know,
I'm shuffling to the ground.
I'm still pretty beat up, but I'll get down on me.
I will also kneel bravery.
That sounds pretty nice.
Yeah, come on, firsty.
The King of Hearts steps before each of you,
and to each one of you, he taps the reforged warple sword
on each of your shoulders.
With each tap, or with each, to each one,
he says the same words,
in the name of the summer queen, I charge you to be brave.
In the name of the green king,
I charge you to be strong.
He does this from Frost to Grico,
to Torbeck, to Kremi, to Gideon.
When he finishes knighting each of you,
he lets out a solemn sigh.
Now rise my knights, and let us charge
into the jaws of death and claim victory
for true love.
We're pretty tired.
charging.
Yeah, we don't know what you're getting about dad.
Yeah, we just beat the head.
What heroes say?
Eighth, eight, it's kind of like,
can we get in sleep or?
In an instant, massive thorny vines
shoot out from the King of Hearts
and pierce each one of you through the heart.
Oh, what the?
What the?
Does it only have one damage?
Because I have two HP.
You feel no pain.
Okay.
But you know your body is changing,
and you feel your minds start to leave you.
Turning monstrous and obfess
and obedient to the Lord before you,
each one of you begins to turn,
and your new faded form reminds you
of the version you once saw.
Grico, you begin to turn to a voracious owlbear
of sturdy oak.
Gideon, you begin to turn to a fiery unicorn of spiked metal.
Damn!
Cremie, you turn into a slavering hellhound
of skeletal bone.
Dude, that's fucking sick.
Frost, you begin to turn into a vicious
displacer beast of crystalline glass.
Torbeck, you begin to turn into a putrid cataplepus of amorphous clay.
You can barely process what's happening,
but you know whatever is happening, it's not good.
I apologize for the deception,
but I know if I shared the full extent of what it meant to be one of my knights,
you would not have been so eager to assist me.
I'm sure you understand my plight and consider your sacrifice worthwhile.
He then raises his sword toward the fog-shadowed shapes
the castle in the fog.
Now rise, my knights, and let us charge
into the jaws of death and claim
victory for true love.
The vorple sword begins to glow
as the red lights pierced
through the fog, beginning to reveal
a stunning castle out of a fairy tale,
covered in huge thorny vines
of enormous blue roses, almost
looking like barbed wire around a prison.
As you continue to shift into
your horrific monster forms,
every passing moment being more
and more committed to the will of the King of
hearts, you hear a small voice among the roars and bellows. As if on command, you suddenly hear the
guttural shriek of the Jabberwock, and you see the beast in the sky as it descends toward the clearing,
its eyes, jaws, and claws locked in on the King of Hearts. You never thought you'd be glad to see
the dragon, but as your seeming rescuer demands, Twig cheers happily as the beast responds to her
command. In a cacophonous hurricane of wind from the beating wings, the Jabberwock dives in to
strike. Then in a sudden movement, faster than the blink of an eye, you hear the sheen of metal
and see a glint of silver. And a moment later, the beast's head is flung from its body, and you were
sprayed in its putrid blood. The head shrieks and burbles before its bulbous white eyes close and the
monstrous body collapses and crashes into the earth. Seemingly untouched by the bloody geyser,
the king of hearts gracefully sheathes the borklesword once more. Snicker, snack. But
How did you?
Suddenly, Twig's eyes glow with a radiant blue light,
and she begins to grow into a tall lithe and young woman
with soft pale skin and ringlets of brown hair.
Her eyes are a beautiful shade of emerald green.
Her voice opens, her mouth opens,
and a gentler voice emerges.
These eyes, your unrelenting obsession and consuming lust.
A moment later, the young woman changes and ages
a decade more, curves filling out as a warm glow surrounds her. Her hair shifts from brown
to black as her ice blue eyes cast a pitying look. In the name of the mother, I reprimand
your merciless and cold obsession. Again, the woman ages by many, many years, shrinking once more
and hunching forward, her face surrounded by wisps of stringy white hair, an ancient face marked
with wrinkles and warts and beady dark eyes that peer past the unnaturally elongated nose,
casting a look of judgment and deliberation. In the name of the crown, I castigate your foolishness
and boyhood fancies. The ancient hag does not change as the invocation is completed, the one from
the vision you clearly recognize as soon as she bears her iron teeth. The thorns that surround all of you
begin to sprout with blue roses
as the monstrous transformation cease
and begin to revert
as you return to your original selves.
The pale blue energy surges forward
through the vines that connect
to the King of Hearts
and he has blasted backwards.
His skin shifts and warps
as pale tawny feathers erupt from his skin
and his hands turn to scaly talons.
A moment later, his Barnel mask splinters
revealing his grotesque mutated eye.
His large, unblinking one radiates
with a sickly yellow glow
and he lets out a horrified yell.
No, how dare you witch?
How dare you plunge your crooked fingers
into every aspect of my life?
I am the son of...
The hag interrupts him
as he lets out a yelp of pain.
A bastard of the summer king!
Little more than a monster whelp.
You, princeling of the Femoreans,
I am everywhere you think yourself safe.
My daughter is at peace.
Let her rest.
You wish for her to wake and destroy this realm?
Return to your castle of blocks, cards, and childhood things, boy.
A silver mirror appears in the air before the crown,
reflecting the King of Hearts grotesque, transformed visage back to him.
The Faylord stumbles back as he groans in pain,
his large eyes growing wide in terror.
He surges with crimson light,
shattering the thorny vines that snake from him
and breaking the tether between you and the crown.
The blue roses wilt turn gray,
and disintegrate as he leaps into the sky
and he sprouts mutated barnal wings
from his back. The wings
catch on the air as he glides
away, flying erratically through
the night towards the castle. As he departs,
all of you in the glade begin to shift
back to your proper forms, even twig.
The horrific crone casts her beady eyes on you
and she croaks out final words.
My granddaughter must not
awaken, lest if they
while be twisted and changed
forever. I have to
done what I can.
The witchlight hour must
be averted.
She shrinks even further
until there's nothing but twig,
unconscious, on the ground.
All of you slowly shrink yourselves
until the monstrous shapes
you once took are lifted from you.
Your minds and your bodies become yours
again as you see the fog has fully been
dispelled from the valley.
The enormous, beautiful fairy tale castle
is before you at the end of an impossibly long
stone bridge.
As soon as you see the entirety and its grandeur,
the sky turns a bright red, and you see one after another,
the huge blue roses on the thorny vines turn to crimson.
And in a radiating garish energy,
the symbol of a heart appears over the highest turret
on the highest tower of the castle.
As the gloom fades and the king of heart seemingly takes his place
on the throne of the palace of heart's desire,
you see the drawbridge drop,
connecting to the long, thin stone bridge over the ravine below.
As the clanging of the bridge echoes through the vent,
valley, you hear the creaking of wood as the huge gate of the castle's curtain wall opens,
and far off you see a silhouette of a lone figure as if waiting for your arrival, and it looks
familiar. And that is where we'll end the session. No! Yes. Wow. Thanks, Nicky for on
