Rated ESRB E10+. Hey everyone, I've got two quick updates for you, as you heard me mention at the end of the Bass
Reeves series, which I hope you liked by the way. First, the next thing on the schedule is a two
episode miniseries in honor of Women's History Month. It was produced by documentary
filmmaker Katrina Parks, and it chronicles stories that stretch from the 1880s up to World War II,
all of which are focused on the American West. These are largely untold stories of women on the
front lines, whether it's helping to revolutionize the restaurant industry or in various capacities
during the war, and the series is aptly titled Frontline Women. We hope you like it. So that's up next, and right after that, it's going to be
the story of Billy the Kid. Long-time listeners may have heard this series very early last year
on our other podcast, Infamous America. We all know Billy belongs over here on Legends, but it
ran on Infamous based on advice we received at the time. Maybe it paid off,
maybe it didn't, it's hard to tell. But either way, it's time to bring Billy over here where
he belongs. Now, I'm not necessarily a huge fan of doing something like this, but it's needed
beyond just the fact that the story belongs here on this podcast. Candidly, I need to downshift
the podcast workload a little bit so that I can recharge. It's been a long grind with virtually no breaks now for three years,
so I gotta let my brain ease off a little.
But even with that said, there's a much more fun reason for running Billy the Kid now,
which somewhat contradicts what I just said, but I promise you it's different.
I've pitched a big project about the Old West to a company that will go unnamed at the moment,
and I'm really hoping to
get the green light in the next few weeks. If I do, I'm going to have to make time in my schedule
to work on the new project, which of course I'll reveal when I know something. But for the moment,
keep your fingers crossed. It's because of you all that it's possible, and I think you'll like
it if it happens. So please keep your fingers crossed. It's going to be really exciting.
Lastly, I'll check back in in a couple weeks with another update, and you're definitely going to like that one. It'll be much shorter and
more specific. It's about something I've wanted to do for a long time, and we finally got it done.
For now, let's just say it's a blend of the old and the new. So that's it. Enjoy Frontline Women,
and I'll talk to you again in a couple weeks. Thanks.
