The following podcast is a Dear Media production.
This is Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari, a podcast all about getting real and open
on everything from sex, relationships, reality TV, wellness, family, and so much more.
And just a fair warning, there will probably be some oversharing.
Hello.
How is everyone on this fine Tuesday?
I just want everyone to know I had every intention of putting jeans on and then I just couldn't do it.
Couldn't bring myself to put on jeans.
I live in sweats at my house and I just, I can't do it.
But I did have jeans picked out and then I thought, no, you know what?
I don't care. I don't care.
I am knee deep in getting ready for my tour,
but by the time you guys hear this, I will be on tour.
And that's why I'm actually recording this one
just a little bit early so that I can still have
a new episode while I'm on the road.
And today is one that is inspired by the new reality show,
this new docu-series that I'm doing.
I have said 5,000 times
that I would never go back to reality TV.
And I still stand by that
because this docu-series that I'm doing
is just following me on the road for the podcast tour.
That's very different than me
doing a reality show about my life.
It's not like I have to create drama
or go on dates on the show or anything like that.
So this is very different.
So I still stand by everything that I have said,
but because I am doing this new show,
I thought it would be really fun to go back
and talk about some of the most memorable
reality TV moments that I've had.
This is from Google.
This is not me just pulling them out of my ass,
although I probably could have picked most of these. I got these from Google and I'm excited
to go through these with you because I don't think I've done anything like this
before. So I think there's ten in here total and they're from mostly Laguna
Beach and the Hills. I don't think there's any from Very Cavalry and I
didn't. Yeah these are all from Laguna Beach and the Hills. all right let's just jump in I just thought this would be fun okay so
the first one and again in no particular order these are never in a
specific order I'm actually not too thrilled that I put this one first though
but it is season one of Laguna Beach when we took a trip to Cabo and I was
dancing on the bar and Stephen kept yelling,
keep dancing on the bar slut. So Stephen and I did cover this on the Back to the
Beach podcast that we did together which was interesting and maybe therapeutic
in a lot of ways to relive this with you know my high school boyfriend Stephen
the one who was yelling these mean things to me
and the Back to the Beach pod was the first time I had gone back and watched all of these episodes since they aired so I probably watched them it's probably been about three years now
two or three years I guess no three years and I'm even a little fuzzy on them now too but what I do
remember is I think the time in between when it aired and when I rewatched it a couple years ago,
I just always sort of had a bad feeling
about this scene in my head.
Or it wasn't like I was walking around being like,
oh God, that scene in Cabo is still sticking with me.
But it was one of those moments
where I just wasn't necessarily proud of it.
But when I went and rewatched it a couple years ago,
I actually walked away from it thinking
it wasn't as bad as I thought.
I always felt like I was in the wrong in that scene,
but I wasn't.
I was 17 years old on spring break in Cabo
having a good time.
And I think they sort of tried to make it seem
like I was the only one up on the bar dancing,
or I guess they showed a couple of my friends.
That's what you did in Cabo.
I don't know if, I guess you still kind of do in Cabo,
but that was definitely what you did in Cabo
on spring break.
Everyone was up on the bars dancing and having a good time.
Steven and I were not together.
I was hanging out with Hot Sam,
and clearly he was just jealous
and yelling profanities at me.
I stand by everything I did and I will say this,
my reaction to him I was very proud of.
I did not react.
I was drunk obviously.
I could have very easily popped off, been sassy back,
gotten in his face and yelled at him.
He was literally in my face yelling at me and I was laughing
and I just was laughing it off and trying to face yelling at me and I was laughing and I just
was laughing it off and trying to get away from him and remove myself from the situation. So I
I would have watched that and I was really proud of myself and I don't regret dancing on the bar.
I would still do that today. So I don't know I was just I was just having a good time,
trying to make out with hot Sam.
I really, in my eyes, I did no wrong.
So, I rest my case, damn it.
Stephen did apologize to me on the Back to the Beach podcast,
so I will take it.
Okay, another Cabo one, lots of Cabo ones,
because you know when the tequila is flowing,
I guess that's just sort of what happens. But okay, this one is getting ready for Cabo one, lots of Cabo ones, because you know when the tequila is flowing, I guess that's just sort of what happens.
But okay, this one is getting ready for Cabo,
and it's the infamous line,
what happens in Cabo stays in Cabo.
And no one ever actually said this.
This was definitely an MTV fed line.
We didn't walk around Laguna before spring break saying,
what happens in Cabo stays in Cabo.
At least that I remember. But there's one specific scene I remember where Alex and I are at
the nail salon because that was all we ever fucking did on Laguna Beach
apparently was get our nails done and they had us of course talking about
going to Cabo and they had us say it and watching it back when I say it, it's so
awkward to me because it was such an unnatural line. And also
how I delivered it was ridiculous. I guess I had a
hard time putting sentences together in high school. But but
I just I felt so awkward when I said it because I would never
say something like that. Also, the irony of it because we have
cameras in our face but we're
saying what happens in Cabo stays in Cabo. Well clearly nothing is staying in
Cabo. Nothing did stay in Cabo. That's for damn sure. Okay now we're gonna jump
to the Hills. So this was well my first time filming the Hills was Heidi and
Spencer's wedding but then we broke I think it was in between seasons,
and then my first official time filming The Hills
for then my season was at the London Hotel, a pool party.
And the time in between Heidi and Spencer's wedding,
which was the finale of whatever season that was,
to then the London, you know, the first time filming,
Audrina and I were talking a lot.
And we knew, I remember at the time,
there was an Us Weekly article that came out
and said that Audrina and I were feuding over Justin Bobby.
So we knew, oh, okay, well, this is the storyline
MTV is already trying to create.
And I remember Audrina and I saying,
well, we're not gonna fall for MTV's bullshit.
Like we're sticking together.
Us girls are gonna come together.
There's no way in hell.
I don't even think I had met Justin Bobby at the time.
Oh no, that's not true.
They, oh, oh my God, as I'm saying it right now,
it's all fucking coming together.
They had me sit next to Justin Bobby
at Heidi and Spencer's wedding. How am I just now figuring all this out? They
already knew the storyline they were gonna go for. Wow. You know my hat goes
off to all reality TV producers but especially the Laguna Beach and the Hills
producers. I mean fuck man they were good at their jobs. They were good well
specifically Adam DeVello who I've had my shit with. But he's smart. He is a
smart, smart guy, really good at his job. And so I can't believe I'm just now
bringing this up. So when I came into Heidi and Spencer's wedding, it wasn't
and we're gonna, that's another one. Well, let's start, actually let's start with
that one because that was another one of mine.

So they had me come to the wedding and it's not like I, they said, well, let me put it
this way.
So anytime you're filming, you know, it's all scheduled.
They tell you what time to be there.
They wait until they want you to go in.
So long story short, I get to Heidi and Spencer's wedding and they had me downstairs locked
away in a room for a long ass time.
Obviously, it was so that I could be fashionably late.
I could be the last one to show up, make it super dramatic for the record.
I was probably one of the first ones there because I am always on time.
You wouldn't know that watching the reality shows.
And Heidi and Spencer were the only cast members
that knew that I would be there.
Nobody else knew those shocking faces,
those surprised faces were real.
I remember coming out and I was nervous
because I hadn't seen these people in forever
and I was walking in you know I hadn't seen these people in forever and I was
walking in last out of everybody so I knew me walking through those doors was
gonna create a scene anyways which I hate that stuff by the way I get really
nervous being in front of a large group of people like that like I really don't
like it so I was nervous so I was walking really fast trying to get to my
seat and they told me exactly where to sit
Which was next to Justin Bobby and I can't even remember who else but it was like right in between two guys, of course
because that's the character that they wanted me to be and
The one thing I remember is I was walking really fast and I did not have a bra on and my boobs were just like boom
Why why couldn't I have I just put a fucking bra on and my boobs were just like boom boom boom. I was like why why couldn't I have I
just put a fucking bra on? God that was like the one thing that just pissed me off so much.
You know I don't know I think it's so funny I think as a as a viewer now I think people would
be like this was so set up but at the time you know no one no one thought that. Not that I remember anyways.
But anyways, so that was fun.
And obviously, I think for the cast,
everyone thought potentially I think that the show
was gonna be over with Lauren leaving,
or they didn't really know it was gonna happen
or how it was gonna be.
So I think everyone seeing me come in then,
it was like, oh shit, the Hills was like oh shit the Hills is not over
the Hills is not over so I think the cast was excited to see me all fine but
I think they were also just really excited because then it you know said
that there was more to be had but anyways so in between the wedding and my
first day filming like I said so Adrena and I were talking,
we were in cahoots, we were like,
there's no way we're falling for MTV's bullshit.
We're not gonna do this stupid storyline,
us fighting over Justin Bobby.
This is ridiculous.
And I'm like, yes, yes.
Okay, so get to the London hotel, having a pool party.
Everyone's having a great time.
Heidi and Spencer show up with a bottle of tequila. Get to the London Hotel, having a pool party. Everyone's having a great time.
Heidi and Spencer show up with a bottle of tequila.
Well, everyone got a little toasted.
Everyone got a little drunk, including yours truly.
And next thing you know, like truly in my head,
next thing I knew, I was talking to Justin Bobby.
I don't remember if he came up to me and started talking. I don't remember if he came up to me and started talking.
I don't remember if I went up to him and started talking.
I could not tell you.
But by the way, even if I went up
and started talking to him, I wasn't flirting with him.
I wasn't hitting on him.
There was like five of us in a corner at the London Hotel
with a million other people around.
You guys have to understand, when you're filming these scenes in a public place, like the London
Hotel, it's a pool at a hotel. So there's a ton of people there and then they have like our little
section with a bunch of cameras. And it's not like I can just be frolicking with everybody else at
the pool. They have us kind of like off on our off on our own.
So there's like what five cast members there.
And if I'm standing next to Justin Bobby or whoever the fuck,
I'm probably going to start talking to them. Right.
I'm not hitting on Justin Bobby.
Well, the next thing I know, Adrena is coming up to me.
Did Adrena come up to me and Stephanie?
I can't remember.
The girls fucking bamboozled me.
And they're giving me shit about talking to Justin Bobby.
And I was like, what in the fuck?
I'm not even doing anything.
But Adrena was coming at me and I was like,
did we not talk about this?
Did we not decide we weren't gonna do
exactly what you're doing?
So that's where the line, you guys came at me like fucking piranhas came from. And that's why I was
going, so it's going to be like this? Oh, it's going to be like this, huh? Because if it's going
to be like this, then it's fucking on, bitch. The fact that I remember that. I was so pissed while I was drunk and I was pissed because in my head I thought, we're
not doing this.
And then the girls did that.
And then I was like, okay, so basically to me it said, everything that we talk about
off camera is bullshit.
So none of that sticks.
You and I can be best friends off camera, but then on camera, know we just do whatever the fuck we want and so that's why I was
like okay it's gonna be like this it's fucking on like you want to be like this
I'll fuck bring it bitch you know still got it in me apparently I get triggered
I get fired up so I remember walking away from that and I really it was
alarming to me actually
because to me it seemed like no one on the cast knew what was real and what was
fake anymore and that was a scary place to be. So I vowed that day to keep my
life separate and that's what I did on The Hills and we only filmed The Hills
three days a week and it was three different scenes. So it was three
changes of clothes for them to splice in wherever days a week, and it was three different scenes. So it was three changes of clothes
for them to splice in wherever they wanted.
You know, it was very much like filming a regular TV show.
I would say the Hills is more improv than anything.
It's like they give you the outline, the situation.
They say, okay, here's what's going on.
You know, you guys are talking about
going to Ladoo tomorrow night, and you know, you guys are talking about going to Ladoo tomorrow night and you
know you plan on seeing Brody there, you know, talk about that. And so they
give you like all the guidelines, they like lay it out for you and then it's
kind of like just riff. But they would also feed you lines. I think I've said
this before but I don't know if I've said this on the podcast though. When we
would be out in public, because people did start catching on of wondering what
was real and what was fake.
And so if we were at a restaurant having lunch, let's say,
we would have our phones with us and we would be talking.
Let's say Audrey and I were filming a scene together.
We'd get out what they told us to say,
and then we would look at our phone
and a producer would text us,
literally line by line what to say.
And we look at it and we go okay and
then we'd say you know I didn't appreciate how you were talking to me
at the London Hotel. She would you know respond and then okay great got that
let's see what else they want us to say. I mean like that is literally what we
would do but and I also think being on Laguna Beach and having it be my real
boyfriend that was really
tough for me.
And then, like I said, coming into the Hills and being like, holy shit, no one knows what's
real and what's fake anymore.
I just decided I wasn't going to have any real boyfriends on the show.
I wasn't going to really date on the show.
I wasn't going to bring any of my real girlfriends on the show.
My experience at the time was shows ruined relationships
and friendships and that held true through Very Cavalry.
So I stand by that.
But so this was like, whoa, that I was like, Jesus Christ,
this is what the Hills is gonna be like.
Oh my God, buckle up.
Oh, I was like so much anxiety right off the bat.
But I was game for it, you know,
and I think when I decided to join the Hills,
cause that was a tough decision for. But I was game for it, you know? And I think when I decided to join the Hills, because that was a tough decision for me
because I was acting and I was trying to stay out of like,
that world, that like media frenzy world.
And I knew joining the Hills
would just put me right back in it.
And it was definitely taking a left turn
from where I had been going.
So it was a tough decision, but I'm of course now I'm so happy with the decision that I
made.
I'm really thankful that I ended up going back because it brought me into the branding
world and it ultimately led me to this podcast and a million other things.
And so I'm really thankful for it.
But when I joined the Hills, I remember saying to all of the producers, I said, I'm game
for whatever.
So keep me in the loop.
I don't want it to
be like this manipulation, you know, behind my back, throwing things at me last minute,
like surprising me on camera. Like I don't want, I don't want to be left out in the dark.
Don't do that to me. I'm game. So just keep me in the loop and tell me what you want me
to do and I'll do it. And because of that mentality, I had so much fun filming the Hills.
I really did. Cause I got to like play up this character
that they wanted me to be.
And it was fun.
It was fun, because I looked at it strictly as a job
instead of producers manipulating my real life
and coming in and messing up real relationships,
like I said.
So anyways.

Okay now we're going back to Laguna Beach and it is a line that I wish I trademarked
or a word I wish I trademarked back in the day if I had my business sense about me, but it is my car is Dunzo
so at the time
Everyone thought this scene was fake because they had me Alex Hooser and
Hot Sam go to dealerships and look at cars because I wanted a new car
It was fake
that they had us going to I think like the Porsche dealership. It's actually
pronounced Porsche but I always sound like a douche when I say Porsche. So the
Porsche dealership and like all the I think maybe we even went to a Ferrari
dealership. I mean like clearly I'm not affording these cars my senior year of
high school. No my junior year in high, I was a junior. And so that was fake.
But on the way home from looking at these cars, my 10 year old Azuzu Trooper really
did break down.
So that's why everyone thought it was fake.
And I was like, this was actually probably the realest scene that I filmed on Laguna
Beach.
And so I was really excited because I hated my car. I
really did want a new car. And I thought because my car was breaking down, I
thought it was just because it was old and it literally had given up on me. So I
was celebrating because I thought perfect now I have to get a new car. But
what happened on the show was Laguna is a, I guess coming in from Newport, there's two lanes on each side.
And my car just stopped in the middle of the road.
So now PCH was down to one lane, Pacific Coast Highway.
And we caused so much traffic, you know?
And now there's cameras out filming us
and it's just creating such commotion.
And the line my car is Dunzo, was completely
unprompted. That was all just from me. That was how we talked in Laguna Beach. Laguna
Beach definitely had its own lingo and it may be more of a surf community type lingo,
but definitely Laguna Beach has its own vocabulary. And I guess Dunzo was one of the words that
we used to say. And the way it just sort of naturally came out of my mouth,
the fact that my car is breaking down, and that's what I say.
My car is dunzo.
Speaks to where I was at mentally, you know, as a 16-year-old or 17-year-old or whatever I was.
But this scene, rewatching this one back a couple years ago was hilarious.
I just, yeah, and then the shit that came out of my mouth
in this scene is like truly, truly phenomenal.
So I did a kind bar commercial last year, I guess it was,
and they had me recreate this scene,
and it was really funny to do actually, it was really fun.
They even got an Azuzu Trooper which was pretty amazing. So again wish I trademarked
Dunzo back in the day but I did not. Okay another Laguna one actually these next
two are Laguna. Okay so the next one is when I said Jessica Jason is cheating on
you. So Jessica, Alex and I went to Dave and
Buster's show prompted. I don't think we ever went to Dave and Buster's on our
own. And this I love this scene because Jessica is in the back seat and she's
taking shots out of a water bottle. So she has a water bottle full of I guess
vodka and a chaser in her other hand.
And we're having this scene or while we're filming on the way to Dave and Buster's.
I love the car scenes because to me, these are the most natural real scenes because there's
just these small cameras in your car, but there's no producers.
There's no audio guy with you.
We know that they can hear us, but because they're not in the car
with us, that's like the one time I would say you can kind of forget that you're filming
a show. No other time. Anyone who says, you just sort of forget that the cameras are there.
I don't believe you and I don't know how the hell you would because I never just forgot
that the cameras were there unless they were really far away, which doesn't
happen often, or these car scenes.
So the car scenes to me were always the realest where you would maybe get some of the just
the most natural conversation.
And so this conversation with the girls was a very real natural conversation.
And us taking shots on the way somewhere was very real at that ripe age of 17 doing all
the things we're not supposed to be doing.
I was always a honest friend.
I was a brutally honest friend.
The shit that came out of my mouth in this scene, me telling Jessica that I know Jason
is cheating on her because it takes one to know one basically.
And I'm saying I've cheated on, I guess, Steven.
I guess I was admitting to cheating on Steven.
Oops.
That was a fun one to rehash
on the Back to the Beach podcast.
Yeah.
But I will say, so it's interesting
because being on TikTok,
I see a lot of those clips of Laguna Beach and the hills
and people, I feel like people have a newfound appreciation
for me, which is nice because at the time
it was definitely not well received.
I think at the time, me telling my friend
that her boyfriend is cheating on her came off as bitchy,
I guess, to people where now people are like
Kristen was being such a good friend.
And I appreciate the love today.
I really do.
And I thought I was being a good friend.
But again, I got a lot of shit when Laguna Beach was on TV.
I mean, I really did.
I was very, very hated.
Well, you loved me or hated me, but the hate seemed the loudest maybe because it was me.
But I definitely think the hate was stronger backest, maybe because it was me, but I definitely think
the hate was stronger back in the day.
But that's fine, that's not what we're here to talk about.
I was just trying to help out my friend, and I was right.
He was cheating on her, by the way.
But I just, I love this scene,
because it was such a true, just a true representation
of our dynamic, the three of us and our friendship.
I loved it.
Okay, and then here's another one that will haunt me
till the day I die and it's Stephen.
So, I didn't, well, when I went back
and watched Laguna Beach, I couldn't really remember
where Stephen originated from.
Obviously I knew I said it,
but I didn't know where in the show it became a thing,
like how it became a thing.
And then I watched season one
and it was actually Lauren and Lo who made this a thing.
I realized I was the one saying it,
but they are the ones who like coined it,
like brought life to it essentially.
And I definitely did say it like that. And you know, I would actually like to it essentially and I definitely did say it
like that and you know I would actually like to thank Lauren and Lo because you
know it was things like this and what really just watching the show that I
made me realize I always talked like I had marbles in my mouth I never
enunciated a damn word. My sentences were just one run
on sentence. No breath, no breaks in between the words. Just like gibberish coming out
of my mouth. So thankful for the show because I've had to learn how to enunciate over the
years. I still get a little lazy sometimes when I talk. I know that. I definitely have
that Valley Girl accent.
That is a real thing, by the way.
That is a very real Southern California thing.
Justin has it too.
We've talked about this.
But yeah, this is the one thing
that people still to this day,
when I meet them or if they have me call a friend
or leave a message for a friend or whatever,
everyone wants me to say, Stephen, Stephen.
There you go, Stephen.
Okay, and then let's talk about my choker on Laguna Beach.
So this black choker that I wore, I think both seasons,
definitely season one, I'm pretty sure I did season two.
I literally did not take this thing off for a year.
For a year, I would shower with this thing on.
I mean, I never took it off.
And this black choker was basically just a piece
of velvet rope that I had wrapped around my neck twice.
I probably got it at one of those little bead shops
that was in Laguna.
You could go in and you could make bracelets,
you could make necklaces and whatnot.
And we used to go into that stuff all the time
we were just kind of going to all the little stores around Laguna, but I
Must have just gotten this this rope and thought oh cool
I'm just gonna tie this around my neck and that was what I did and I did not take it off and
It's funny because at the time in high school
I never thought about fashion or trends or designers. That stuff was not on my
radar. It never crossed my mind. The only thing I cared about, well, I remember when I moved to
Laguna and I was wearing all billabong stuff and surfer brand stuff. And I remember the girls being
like, like giving me shit for it. And I was like, what do you mean? I have no idea. Like I don't
know anything about brands or anything.
And I remember Miss 60,
I had to have a pair of Miss 60 jeans
because that was what all the girls had,
but they were really expensive.
And I came from living with my mom, who my mom,
love my mom, and I'm actually really thankful for this now,
but she wouldn't give me any money.
I mean, I remember asking her for a $40 pair of jeans
and it was no, absolutely not.
And I was like, oh my God.
I hated it at the time, but now I'm really thankful because I actually think that was
part of the reason why now I have such a great work ethic, but drive.
I realized at a young age if I wanted something, I was going to have to make it happen myself.
So I remember, I think these jeans were like $150 or something, you know? And I was a sophomore in high school and I remember being like,
oh my god, I want them so bad, but like, you know, they're so expensive.
But my dad bought them for me, but they were a size too big.
So I used to have to roll, I used to have to roll the top over
so that they wouldn't fall off of me.
God.
But anyways, but that was the only designer thing.
Wasn't even, Miss 60 wasn't even a design.
I mean, they were just like a cool brand at the time.
They had great jeans.
But it wasn't like I was doing it because it was trendy
or it was in fashion.
I just did whatever I liked.
It wasn't until I moved up to LA
and then I started having a lot of photo shoots
and working with stylists and going to red carpets
and stuff that then really piqued my interest
in the fashion world.
But I think it's so funny because when I launched
on Common James in 2017, chokers were actually back.
They were big again and they were the trendy thing.
They were on every runway and they were,
is what everyone was doing.
And so when I launched Uncommon James, we did Chokers
and it just felt like a full circle moment,
a very cool moment where, you know,
a choker was what kind of like put me on the map.
And then, you know, being able to launch my company
and kind of like pay homage to that
was I thought kind of cool.
So anyways, okay.
And then the last one is The Hills Ending.
And I know there's mixed emotions about The Hills Ending.
I personally loved it.
I couldn't have picked a better ending.
I think for me personally, well, for a couple of reasons, but mostly
because I felt that show wasn't real, it wasn't real.
There were real elements, real moments, but it wasn't real.
And I thought it was nice to sort of tip our hat
at the audience of like, yeah, you know, also we're in on the joke.
Yeah, wasn't 100% real.
I think it wasn't, I like it because it made you think.
It wasn't saying, yes, the show is completely fake,
but it wasn't saying the show's 100% real.
It was kind of like, it was showing that
we knew what people were saying.
We were in on the joke.
And honestly, I thought it was just really clever.
I thought it was a really smart way to end really Laguna Beach and the Hills because,
you know, the Hills was a spinoff.
Just put a nice little bow on the whole thing.
And again, it goes back to Adam DeVello.
He really is, he's a genius with this stuff.
And I'm proud, you know,
I think reality TV has changed so much.
And I'm proud of the shows that I did
because Laguna Beach was groundbreaking in a lot of ways.
And that has nothing to do with me.
That really is the producers, the creatives behind it.
And The Hills too.
I mean, those shows made noise.
They, you know, were shot in such a beautiful way.
It looked like a movie, but it wasn't.
You know, it created a lot of conversations, those shows.
And for that, I'm proud of those.
You know, those shows were at the time
something we had never seen before.
And an ending like this, that is so cool.
I don't know any other show that you could do that with.
It's not like you could do that with The Housewives
or like those shows lent themselves to being able
to have these really innovative moments.
And so that's why I'm proud of those shows.
There are moments I'm not proud of, don't get me wrong,
but overall I'm proud of being a part of those shows.
I also loved that it was just, it was one of those jaw-dropping moments.
Completely unexpected.
It made people, like I said, it made people think, it made you want to call your friend and be like,
what the fuck? What does that mean? What are they saying? You know?
Because again, I really, I think, I know people took it like, oh my God, they just said that the whole show was fake.
I didn't take it like, oh my God, they just said that the whole show was fake. I didn't take it like that.
I took it more like, it was us just saying, you know,
it was like tipping our hat to the viewer,
being like, we heard you the whole time.
And again, this is not us confirming,
it's just kind of, you know, it's just being in on the joke.
And you know, I forgot about this actually.
We, I guess I was saying goodbye to Brody
in the scene before we were on the Paramount lot.
By the way, if you haven't seen the ending,
it's worth watching.
But they had Brody and I saying goodbye to each other
because I was supposed to be going to London.
And we were saying goodbye to each other on the street,
which we filmed it on the street.
And then we went and filmed it on the Paramount lot
because then what they did was they called cut
and they pulled back.
So you saw we were on the Paramount lot
in front of a green screen.
We said goodbye, got in our cars, went home, blah, blah, blah.
Because I think I was supposed to be going to the airport
to go to London, which by the way, that's random as fuck.
I think we were sort of thinking like,
maybe we would then do a spinoff and go to London
and keep the fucking thing going which like thank
God. Thank God I didn't. I actually met my ex-husband a month after we wrapped
the hills and so I essentially gave up my career in entertainment but London
would have been fun you know but I can't imagine having done another show my god.
So anyways that was that. Those are some of the most memorable moments show, my God. So anyways, that was that.
Those are some of the most memorable moments.
God, it's so funny to relive this stuff.
Part of me feels like it was yesterday
that all of this happened, even the high school moments.
And then, you know, another part of me feels like,
no, that definitely was over 20 years ago
because a lot of shit's happened.
But really thankful for all of my experiences
on every reality show that I've done, even the hard times because you know they've made me who
I am today and I'm excited to now film which I promise you will be my last show. Again,
it's a special. It's not. It's so different than doing a show like this, but I am excited to be
filming again, you know, and to be able to share the podcast tour with you guys.
So I hope this got you excited about being able to see
all the behind the scenes for the podcast tour.
And yeah, I will see you guys after the tour next week.
I'll be home, I'll be exhausted, I'm sure.
As you guys are listening to this,
I will be in the middle of all of my shows.
And I just, I'm so excited to see how it all turns out.
So thanks for listening and I'll see you guys soon.
