Starting point is 00:00:00 The following podcast is a Dear Media production. Welcome in to Let's Be Honest for another live podcast episode from the Let's Be Honest podcast tour. So excited for today's episode. I have Camille Caustic, and you guys, I just absolutely love Camille. She is one of the realest, coolest, most down-to-earth chicks on the planet.
Starting point is 00:00:36 She's as beautiful inside as she is out. And you know, she's such a positive light in this world. She's got a really great message for women. She just, she's uplifting. light in this world. She's got a really great message for women. She just, she's uplifting. You want her to be your best friend is how I describe Camille, you know? And she talks a lot about relationships
Starting point is 00:00:52 and why putting yourself first is really important. Body positivity, she's just one of the real ones, guys. And I am so lucky to call her a friend. I hope that this episode really inspires a lot of women. She kept it very real. She was very honest about the ups and downs that she's experienced her in her own relationship, the personal things that she's gone through, and how she's really followed her dreams and become this successful badass woman really, you know, on her own. We talk about the wag world, you know, wives and girlfriends of athletes, which is interesting.
Starting point is 00:01:25 It's not necessarily a conversation that I'm dying to have. It's not one that she was dying to have. Although I think her take on it was very interesting, very different than my experience, actually. I think Camille had like a very classic, you know, traditional wag experience. She was a cheerleader. They weren't necessarily the most welcoming to her, where I came in it from a very different perspective. You know, I had already been on TV. People knew who I was. So I was treated differently. And so I don't know. It's interesting to compare notes on that world. It is an interesting world. I do think people are curious about it. And so I actually, I love this episode. This is one of my favorites. And just shout out Boston. The Boston shows, the Boston audiences, being in Boston, I fucking love Boston. The crowds were awesome. You guys fucking
Starting point is 00:02:11 rocked. This was my favorite theater and I just, we actually got to be in Boston for three nights which was the longest I was in any city. So I did get to go out in Boston and kind of check it out a little bit, enjoy the city, get good coffee, you know. We got to have some fun in Boston. I of check it out a little bit, enjoy the city, get good coffee, you know. We got to have some fun in Boston. I will be honest with you guys, Camille and I play a drinking game and I 1000% had water shots.
Starting point is 00:02:33 As you guys know, I sometimes do because you guys, Camille's not drinking A, and B, I had a show the next day. Like I can't be, I can't be getting sloshed, you know what I mean? But Camille 1000% called me out for having water shots. I was like, Camille, shut the fuck up. But man, she knew, she was on it, she was on it.
Starting point is 00:02:51 But anyways guys, enjoy this episode. I love this one. And don't forget to be watching Honesty Cavalieri on E! Bravo and Peacock for all the behind the scenes. ["Honesty Cavalieri"] for all the behind the scenes. Okay, but I have a couple of questions for you guys. You guys know what WAG stands for, right? Wait, I'm like, what is it? Wives and girlfriends of athletes, yeah? Obviously, I was a WAG at one point in my life, and it's a very interesting world, one that only another wag could relate to so I think we should talk about it. Please help me welcome Camille Caustic!
Starting point is 00:03:42 Woo! Yes! That's my girl! Who spanks their own ass when they come out? I guess I do. Come on! Come here! Oh my gosh, Kristen, I told you Boston's gonna be the best city of your Torah. I'm telling you. I know! Yes! Oh my gosh! I know, Boston is fun. Look how happy everybody is to see you!
Starting point is 00:04:03 What? What? No, no, no. I need to tell you something right now. What? I've been to the Wilbur one other time. Julian and Rob did a live podcast show. I did not know you could fill this place. This was not the audience. I love the boys, but give it up for the girls because my gosh, this is the place to be.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Oh, well, that makes me really happy. You guys, you guys are the best. I've actually, I had someone else tell me that Boston was the best place to do a live podcast because you guys are just, your energy is amazing. Kristen goes, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, New York. I was like, Kristen, is that a serious question? Boston has been my home for 10 years. It still is. It's like my little secret that I guess is not a secret anymore. I know everyone's like, New England misses you guys. I was like, we never left.
Starting point is 00:04:53 How much time do you spend here? Anytime that I don't have to travel and be somewhere. I come here, New England is my roots. It makes me feel grounded. Is there my people? You were like, I can't believe how nice you guys are. Are you kidding me? Like the nicest people. And I mean, going, you were like, I can't believe how nice you guys are, you kidding me? Like the nicest people, and I mean,
Starting point is 00:05:06 I was just in Chicago, and Chicago people are nice, but this is like next level, it's the best, it's the best. I love that. Well, I'm excited to talk about the wag world, because I think there's a lot of misconceptions. People think it's just like drama filled, crazy, just like women fighting, and my experience was the opposite of that.
Starting point is 00:05:24 But I wanna know when you describe it to people, how do you describe that whole world? What do you say? First off, I've always kind of disassociated with that word just cause it feels so weird. I don't know. It almost feels like that is your identity. And for me, I met my partner
Starting point is 00:05:44 through being an NFL cheerleader for the Patriots. So that was like, I think honestly, one of my speaking of headlines, I think one of my favorite stories was like, that was how I met him. I'm like, do you realize that was 17 years worth of dance training? This is like three years old in order to meet my man. That's crazy. No, so it was just, and I was in a relationship
Starting point is 00:06:06 when I made the team, so I wasn't looking for a man on the roster, it just happened to work out that way. But that's how I was integrated into the world of New England sports, and I grew up in Connecticut, so we don't have a football team, we don't have a hockey team, we don't have a baseball team. So I was a huge fan of the Patriots, but because of the cheer squad.
Starting point is 00:06:25 So once I made that team and I had no idea that I was literally gonna fall in love with somebody on the football team that I had to keep quiet for two years, that's what deemed me a wag, I guess. So rather than- Right, they love to just like, not, I don't wanna say cut you down,
Starting point is 00:06:42 but take away your value. Because I feel like, I remember that there was a show that came out called Wags, and I feel like a lot of those women were like looking to date an athlete. That wasn't what I was looking to do. If anything, I was kind of scared of it. Like I was super scared of it. And I learned why through the last, you know, a lot of years, but I don't know. It's really weird. I think when you introduced me as a wag, it's fine. I think it's always depends. I hate the word too, can I be honest with you? No, I hate it.
Starting point is 00:07:08 That's why I wanna talk about it and just smash that whole stigma. What's the male version? Great question. They don't have one. You know? Yeah, no, that's a good question. What would you call Travis Kelce
Starting point is 00:07:21 for dating Taylor Swift? I love it. Really, I've had this career of my own. I was always so, like, I knew there were so many things I was destined to want to do and be on television and act and to host and and dance and do all of these things and then I happened to date an athlete and it was like, you are a wag and it was like that I'm not, my name is not my man. So I was actually gonna end the show with that. I was gonna that, my name is not my man. I don't know. So I was actually gonna end the show with that.
Starting point is 00:07:46 I was gonna say, because we're having this conversation about being a wag, but you're such a bad ass on your own. And not only, yeah, I mean, not only are you this huge model and you do the hosting, you do all these things, but you have such a positive message for women. And you're just one of the realest, most down to earth,
Starting point is 00:08:03 coolest fucking chicks I've ever met. And that's what you should be known for, you know? Not for who you date. Thank you. They love to put women in a box for who they've dated. And that's just, you're so much more than that. Thank you, baby. Okay, but, but let's talk about Rob.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Oh my God. No, honestly, if I'm gonna talk about him anywhere, it's Boston, so. You have to here. Yes, it's the people. Okay have to here. This is the people. OK, I think everyone knows who he is, but obviously, he played for the Patriots. You guys have been together for how long?
Starting point is 00:08:30 OK, the together question is hard for me. We've been in each other's lives for 10 years. It's been like this, but I think that's been the best part. Because if anybody has ever been through a breakup, for as much as it feels like literally the end of the world and heartbreak is like debilitating, I grew and he grew into people I don't think we would have been without the breakup.
Starting point is 00:08:51 I- When was this breakup? Okay, the first breakup was in 2000. The first was, like the real one was 2017 and I'm gonna tell you what happened with that. And I'm telling you this, I honestly have to tell you whenever I grab a microphone and I get on stage, I never want to talk just to like be like me, me, me, blah, blah, blah. I want to talk because I hope that someone can relate to this.
Starting point is 00:09:15 In 2017, I went through this breakup and I was like truly broken. And be- Why did you guys break up? Oh, it wasn't my fault. I definitely, it was just like one of those things. Rob and I met when I was 21 years old. I'm 33 now. He was 24 years old so we went through our 20s together and... Babies. Your babies in your 20s. I said this to you backstage, I'm surprised you guys have been able to last this long through your 20s. I said this to you backstage, I'm surprised you guys have been able to last this long
Starting point is 00:09:45 through your 20s. Honestly, same. And I thought each time, this is the end, but they always come back, ladies. Yes, they do. And then you get to decide if you're going to let them back in or not. But first off, I'm going to share a lot of this with you because this is the, let's be honest, and we're in the city of champions with you because this is the, let's be honest, and we're in the city of champions,
Starting point is 00:10:06 so I feel like let's talk about it. You have to. But the point that I wanted to get to was, in 2017, that was like the worst breakup because it was the first one, but that breakup pushed me to move out to Los Angeles. I literally would go to Dunkin' Donuts and it would be like, what would you like?
Starting point is 00:10:23 It would be like Rob holding a Dunkin' Donuts cup. I was like, I can't live here anymore. Every commercial, every Sunday, everyone's wearing 87 jersey. I was like, get me out of here. But it made me move to Los Angeles finally. It was something I wanted to do for so long. And I wonder if we were still together, would I have made that huge move? Moving all the way across the country, away from my family, away from my friends, away from him. And in that year, I decided to audition for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, which was also on my bucket list.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Now, I'm telling you all this again, not to do a me, me, me story, but to let you know that some of the best things in my life that changed the trajectory of my life came from this fucking breakup that broke me but also allowed me to find who I am. Like what is it that motivates me? Because when I'm someone who gets in a relationship, like I'm all in. Like I'm all in emotionally, mentally, like all the things. And I was able to find myself a little bit and just get in the zone. I didn't care about dating. I felt like I was like asexual. Like I was able to find myself a little bit and just get in the zone. I didn't care about dating.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I felt like I was like asexual. Like I was like, no one excites me. But it allowed me to really, they say like, that's when you do you. Oh yeah, yeah. I cared about pursuing the things that brought me joy. I felt like I lost who I was a little bit. And a lot of it came from that wag identity.
Starting point is 00:11:44 It was almost like that started to become my identity. Like, Kronk's girlfriend, Kronk's girlfriend. And it'd be like, I'm Camille Costic and I just meet you. Thank you. It sounds so silly, but it weighed on me a lot. No, it's important. I get that. Yeah. And I'm proud to be his girl, but it was like, that's not my name, you know? It's not your identity. Yeah. So then when we broke up, it definitely became a TMZ headline and that was hard because I was already dealing with it on my own.
Starting point is 00:12:07 But that breakup led to some of the best moments of my career that led me to becoming a multimillionaire on my own, that led me to- Yeah, baby. Creating this, being able to connect with so many of you, open up, get raw, get real and learn about who I am and then guess who came knocking on my door. They always do.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Yeah. So anyway, that was a long answer, but. No, but that's great. And it's relatable. And I think it's important. You guys, you need to put yourself first. You need to find yourselves these women, you know? So it's great. But you guys first met when you were still a cheerleader.
Starting point is 00:12:48 And that was off limits. Players and cheerleaders could not date. So you have said you guys locked eyes at this charity event. What happened after that? So you can't cheer... The football players don't get in trouble, but the cheerleaders... Also, how is that okay? What? Get kicked off the team. I don't think that's a rule anymore trouble, but the cheerleaders. Also, how is that okay? What? Get kicked off the team. I don't think that's a rule anymore now, but at the time I was literally hiding.
Starting point is 00:13:11 So he had, I had just gone through a really bad breakup about a month or two before, and I went to this charity event and Rob. Rob dies. Rob kept looking at me, I kept looking at him and I was like, but he probably looks at everybody. And then his number got slipped to me through Jermaine Wiggins. Some of the alumni players were there and he slipped. He asked me to sign. Jermaine came up to me and he's like, will you sign this Patriot Shiller poster? Like, will you sign your name? And I was like, absolutely. And he was like, I'm just kidding. Write your number on it
Starting point is 00:13:42 for Rob Gronkowski. And I was like, oh sir, I can't do that, I'll get kicked off the team. And he was like, Rob knew you'd rookie move him with this and get scared, so he wrote it on his hello my name is Rob Gronkowski sticker and wrote. Shh. So I refused to write my number because I was so scared of getting kicked off the team and someone finding out.
Starting point is 00:14:05 I was doing the appearance with my captain at the time and I was like, I think this is a setup. I think I'm being hazed right now. There's no way this is real. Starting point is 00:17:39 OK, boss babes, listen up. Let's talk about zip recruiter. Typically, you don't associate speed with quality, right? I think we can all agree on that. For example, you don't go through a fast food drive through and expect a gourmet meal to go. Or if you use automated translation tools to quickly translate text, it's often inaccurate.
Starting point is 00:18:00 And that can get you in trouble, by the way. Well, there is an exception to this unwritten rule. Starting point is 00:19:03 Yes, the first day. And if you go to ziprecruiter.com slash honest right now, you can try it for free. Again, guys, that is ziprecruiter.com slash honest. ZipRecruiter, the smartest way to hire. I took his number and I went home as around Thanksgiving. And so we first met at Goodwill in Boston. And then I went home and I told my mom.
Starting point is 00:19:31 And she goes, I don't think that's his number. I think the girls are setting you up. And I said, me too. We let a couple days pass by. And then I watched the Patriots play the Texans. And I said, if this is Rob, he will still, he'll kind of be sweaty, he'll kind of be coming out of the game. I'm going to FaceTime him,
Starting point is 00:19:49 face my phone to the ceiling and see if he's gonna answer right now. Smart. So my mom and I FaceTimed him together with the phone to the ceiling. And this man answered the phone with the phone to the ceiling of the plane. And I said, who's this? And he was like, plane and I said who's this and he
Starting point is 00:20:06 was like you called me who's this and so I was like all right it's a guy and that's that was our first call and then he called me when he got home he was like my plane's about to take off we talked for about like three hours and then he was like when do I get to see you in person I was like oh never and then that's when I started pulling in my Jeep Grand Cherokee into his garage and I was like, shut it. Because I had to hide. I was so scared.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Yes, you guys kept it a secret for two years. Two years. I can't keep anything a secret for a fucking week. Honestly, when people ask, what's the recipe to success with this relationship, it was really like dating behind closed doors for two years. Like, we really got to know each other. And Rob is my best friend. And yeah, Like we really got to know each other. And Rob is my best friend. And I, yeah, we just really got to know each other.
Starting point is 00:20:49 And then after a year of hanging out and stuff, it was time to try out for the team again. Oh my God. There I was auditioning, making up my dance in his living room. And he was like, you're not trying out again. I was like, oh, I am because dance can't break up with me, but you sir can.
Starting point is 00:21:02 So I danced one more year and then they won the Super Bowl against the Seahawks. So you couldn't go on the field and celebrate with him? I went on the field and celebrated from afar. It sucked because it was his first Super Bowl win, his first touchdown in a Super Bowl. Malcolm Butler had the interception. It was such a big moment, you know? And then he snuck me into the team hotel. We celebrated there. Okay, so it was literally just hanging out at each other's places, sneaking around.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Well, he couldn't come hang out at mine because I was still in college and he was like, let me come to your college campus. I was like, you? No, no. You can't hide on my campus with a wig or nothing. No, sir. Oh, that's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:21:46 I think he wanted me to get kicked off the team. He was like over the hiding, but. Okay, so then you finished that year and then you were done with cheerleading. Like you guys decided together that you would be done. So you could be public? No, I was just, I was like, how does it get better than winning a Superbowl?
Starting point is 00:21:59 I did my two seasons, like, and I just, I wanted to do other things. I knew I wanted to get into acting, modeling, television hosting, like literally living out all of the things I always wanted to do other things. I knew I wanted to get into acting, modeling, television hosting, like literally living out all of the things I always wanted to do now. But that required me to like, I felt like I exhausted my dance career after 17 years and that was a really great ending
Starting point is 00:22:14 and then it was on to other things. There you go. Yeah. Okay, so when everyone found out that you were dating Rob, how did they treat you? I would imagine some of the other cheerleaders were a little bitter. No? No, they were so, a cheerleaders were a little bitter. No?
Starting point is 00:22:25 No, they were so... A couple of them were like, we knew, and I was like, no, you didn't. I was such a good liar. That's not a good thing to say. I just hit it so well. His code name was Matt. So I used to say all the time, like, oh, I'm going to go hang out with Matt. And they were like, when are we going to see Matt?
Starting point is 00:22:40 I'm like, he doesn't have social media. They thought you made up a boyfriend? Yes. So when my girlfriends finally met him that were on the team, I'm like, he doesn't have social media. I thought you made up a boyfriend. Yes, so when my girlfriends finally met him that were on the team, I was like, and this is Matt. And they were like, we were wondering where Matt went when you were showing us Rob. That's so great. That was Matt.
Starting point is 00:22:56 What about the first time you met the other wags? How did they treat you? I don't know about that. Listen, my experience, I was shocked when Rob won and played for the Buccaneers. I love, love to this day, the wives and girlfriends of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They were so nice, they were so inviting.
Starting point is 00:23:17 It was so great, because I didn't have, there was some, no one treats, I'm being careful with my words, I know. I feel like she's not being honest. I know. Come here. All right. So the Patriots wags were awful,
Starting point is 00:23:32 is that what I'm picking up? No, no, no. I sat in Bill Belichick's suite with Linda Holiday, like because I literally wasn't, let's just say it wasn't welcome, the energy was off. Like no one was like, you can't sit with us, but it just felt that way a little bit. And I felt like being a former cheerleader.
Starting point is 00:23:51 And also I wasn't at a lot of the games because I was like pursuing the career of my own. And I was being judged on like, well, you haven't been at a lot of the charitable events and you haven't been a lot of foundations. And I was like, well, because I got a fucking life to live. Like, this isn't my life. So I would go to the games when I could,
Starting point is 00:24:08 but I just, I felt like there was a lot of judgment happening. And I remember one of the wags being like, you know, so and so and so and so talks about you. And I was like, who and who? I literally don't know who you're talking about. So I don't want to know and I don't want to hear it. So it was one of those things that I can't even say
Starting point is 00:24:22 no much about the experience. Cause as soon as the energy's off, like I am out, I'm out of the room. I don't want to be in the drama. I don't want to like let people talk. They're always going to talk. I feel like we talk about this a lot. Like no matter what you do, someone's always got something to say about it. Of course. Yeah, you can't win with people. Well, and sports fans too. I mean, they can be passionate, shall we say. They can be very tough sometimes. Does it affect you or did it affect you I should say when sports fans would talk shit
Starting point is 00:24:50 about Rob? Oh yeah. I think the hardest part for me was the stupid thing called fantasy football where people would like lose money and they'd be like get mad at him when he was injured and I was like these are real people. I know. And they'd be like, get mad at him when he was injured. And I was like, these are real people. I know. And they'd be like, screw you, I lost all this money. I was like, well, I don't know. It's just like, how do you? I was just always very defensive.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Well, when he got hurt, because I mean, every athlete gets hurt. I know Rob did get hurt. And they would still talk shit. And it's like, again, these are real people. They're actually hurt. How would you handle that criticism? OK, I learned this from Rob, because I feel like there's so many people,
Starting point is 00:25:30 like, for those who don't know, I model with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. They know, they know. They all know. We know! Okay, but did you know? Yeah, oh. Ooh! Oh, that's my girl? Yeah, oh. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Oh, that's my girl. Oh, that's my fucking girl. But did you know that when you become a bikini model, that makes people feel like they have access to your bikini body to tell you how you should and shouldn't be? So the reason I'm bringing this up is because it almost like took the joy out of what I did and
Starting point is 00:26:06 it was really hard for me to not because when I'm not gonna speak for everybody but when I look in the mirror like I literally like dissect everything. Yeah. But I didn't really start doing that until other people started dissecting me. Oh interesting. Yeah I always I had like this confidence but then it started to like lose it the more that that people almost got access to my energy. And I would break down, I'd be really upset about it with Rob. And he said, Camille, if I ever allowed what everyone has to say about me and my personality,
Starting point is 00:26:38 about my character, about my injuries, about my career, I literally wouldn't be able to get up out of bed. He was like, you cannot allow any of that to have access to your aura. Like you literally need to get up and shake it off and like go out. And ever since he told me that, and this was like early, this was back when we were still
Starting point is 00:26:55 like hiding our relationship. So he was like 24, 25 years old and already knew that. I was like, the way you're raised is really great that he just also, he didn't have an Instagram at the time. This guy like was bare, like he loved his Twitter news. A guy not on social media. Yeah. But that's when I just, I learned that like,
Starting point is 00:27:14 no matter what people say, like it's up to you to decide if it's gonna take you over and give access to your energy. So I love that. It's easier said than done, but. Yeah, but that's why you're a positive role model. I love that. That's great advice. It's true. With the wags, did you find that there was sort of this like unspoken hierarchy, like QB's wife or like coach, I'd say head coach, actually, that wife and QB, did you experience that and so on? and so on? I don't know about the breakdown of positions in that way, but there is definitely, like,
Starting point is 00:27:46 I was seen as a lesser than girlfriend because I didn't have a ring on my finger. Oh, yeah. But you wanna know what's so interesting about that from the woman that's coming to mind that judged me the most? Mm-hmm. You can say names here. This is a safe space. She's divorced, so...
Starting point is 00:28:02 Oh! Like... Someone pull up that roster for one, she was there. She's divorced. So. Oh. Someone pull up that roster for one shoe. Is there, we can narrow it down. And she's living in his old apartment and he's out and married to somebody else. So. We can get to the bottom of that, right guys? We can do a little digging and figure out who that is.
Starting point is 00:28:20 But my point is how, like to me, a ring on your finger doesn't determine true love and happiness. And Rob and I have been through so much, and that's definitely something that I've worked through people judging us for. Does he take you that seriously? He's scared to commit. You guys, we have homes with our names together. We have our families love each other. We have, our families love each other. We have a dog together, Ralphie.
Starting point is 00:28:50 Like we, it's just like, it's a day at a time. There's no playbook to life. And that's something I'm constantly trying to remind myself that like, there's no certain time we're supposed to have kids or get married. Like you're on your own timeline. You're never too late. You're always on time.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Agreed. Yes. 100%. And I know that's annoying having people ask you all the time, when are you guys going to get married? But Camille, I got to be annoying and ask you, but like, when are you guys going to get married? Do you want me to call Rob? I'll call Rob. You can. He always has a different answer.
Starting point is 00:29:18 What does he say? He says, if I tell you, then it won't be a surprise. Okay. Whenever I get asked this question, you really break it down. When am I going to get engaged? Like imagine if I was like December 2nd, 2026. Like, I don't know. All I know is I need my nails to be done.
Starting point is 00:29:33 I know the ring that I want. Do you guys maybe not need to get married though? Like, could you just be together forever and have a family? I mean, I definitely want to have a big party. Like I just, I want to have a big party with all, I just honestly, Kristin, how fun would it be to, as like someone who's single,
Starting point is 00:29:46 to have like all of Rob's friends. I want to come to that party. Yes, I want to come to that party. That's what I'm saying. Do it for me. That's what I'm saying. I told Rob, I'm like, I just want to be a hot bride. Like just always too hot.
Starting point is 00:29:57 And you would be the hottest bride. Okay, well then it'll happen. How much time did you spend around Gisele? Ooh. We're trying to make headlines, right? I wish it was juicy. I just, Gisele is such a literal supermodel. So whenever I would like see her passing by
Starting point is 00:30:18 during Patriots games, like in the suite, I was like, ooh, everybody back up at Gisele. And I would just, honestly, I went through my era like 10 years ago when I would wear like eyelash extensions. She is the reason I stopped wearing them. I was like, that is a natural beauty favor, someone that she does not have eyelash extensions. I can't picture you with eyelash extensions.
Starting point is 00:30:36 You're such a natural beauty. Oh, thank you. I feel like it would take away your beauty. Anytime someone tries to put a lash on me, I was like, no. Yeah, no, you don't need them. I could see 21 year old Camille. You don't need them.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Okay, so you didn't really get to hang with her. She kind of did her own thing. Honestly, like Gisele did her own thing. She, I mean, and think about it. Like she was married with her kids and had this thriving career and always on the road and traveling everywhere. I didn't know where she was,
Starting point is 00:30:59 but what's so special about Gisele is when we would cross paths or we would see each other, like she would embrace me and talk to me like, you know, we've known each other forever. So I only have great things to say about her. Okay, that's sweet. So safe to say she was not at the wives luncheons. No. I only went to two.
Starting point is 00:31:18 I wasn't either. Yeah, I only went to two my last year with the bears. I didn't, I don't even know what that is. I didn't get the invite. Oh right. I feel like she's not gonna come. Yeah, I don't know what that is. You're not missing anything.
Starting point is 00:31:32 What is your favorite memory from the NFL days? Oh my goodness. I would just say, honestly, I miss, whenever people ask me like, are you so sad that you retired? Like I'm not sad that he retired because I know that like what a toll it took in his body. But oh my gosh, I miss the energy of games.
Starting point is 00:31:48 Like I love football season. Football season to me isn't the same without Brady and Gronk to be honest. Dynasty days, baby. I live for them. How cool we got to live through that. I think about that a lot. But I just miss game days.
Starting point is 00:32:04 I miss the electricity of being in Gillette Stadium and just cheering on a winning team. Yeah. Why do you get to experience that too much? It's fine. Game day outfits were fun though. What you're saying? Game day outfits at least. That was the best.
Starting point is 00:32:24 No, game day, it was so much fun. Instagram wasn't even hot then. That wasn't fair. I know. We had our looks. Imagine if it was. It would have been so much better. Your really-
Starting point is 00:32:32 Wait, hold on. I'm just imagining you with like an Abercrombie skirt, double layered polo, lace out the bottom, choker. Being like, go teams, go. Steven! Go sports. Get the ball. Yeah, go sports. Stephen. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:32:45 You would have the best game day looks. We'd all recreate them. Oh, that choker. Oh my God. I almost wore, I told Kristin, I frantically was shopping in SoHo last night. I just flew in from New York and I was like, oh, let me say. I love Soho. I love Soho.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Don't we all? And I was like, do I go to Abercrombie and bitch and like do that and like try to dress like Kristen? I would die. That choker was a piece of leather that I got at like a bead store in Laguna Beach. I was gonna go to Claire's too. Oh, Claire's would probably have one.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Yeah. I just wrapped it around my neck. I didn't take that thing off for a year. A year, I showered with it. I mean, I probably had a tan line. I feel like you definitely did. I had to. Oh, it's ridiculous. No, it's not ridiculous. Kristin, you are the blueprint of what I wanted to be. Like, can I just tell you, I was going through it last night, like thinking about, I was calling my sisters and I was like, do you understand that younger Camille is freaking the F out that Kristen Cavallari texted me?
Starting point is 00:33:53 She texted me and said, hey girl, here are the four shows, which one? And that's when I said, I talked about this at the beginning of the show and I said, Boston, obviously, and then it like clicked and I was like, Kristin Cavallari from Laguna Beach knows me, has my number, and wants me to come and girl talk with her.

Starting point is 00:38:32 be sure to let them know that I sent you. Select podcast in the survey and be sure to select let's be honest in the show dropdown menu that follows. I will say it's very rare you meet someone menu that follows. I will say, it's very rare you meet someone as real as you in this industry. You know that. People are not honest, they're not real. And when I met you, I was like,
Starting point is 00:38:57 this girl is everything and more than I thought you would be. Yeah, no, you're the best. You're the best. I feel the same. All right, but we're gonna go back to wags. What else? Well, okay, well, we can just talk about relationships. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:39:10 I wanna know how your relationship has evolved because you guys, like you said, you've lived through a lot, breakups, also retiring. I mean, an athlete retiring is a big deal. It can be really hard. Wait, I'm gonna sit and talk to you this way. Kristin, I've been facing on my bad side this whole time. I know, both of our good sides
Starting point is 00:39:23 are this side. Yes, dear? Beautiful. This is therapy, let's be honest. I've been facing on my bad side. I know both of our good sides are this side. Yes dear. Beautiful. This is therapy, let's be honest. So yeah, talk to me about the evolution of your guys' relationship. Have you guys navigated all of these tough times? Well, is this what you guys want to hear about
Starting point is 00:39:40 or do you want me to talk about something else? Oh yeah, yeah, okay. What was the question? I don't even know. Oh, how have we grown and navigated? Yeah, have you guys navigated the breakups, him retiring, just the difficult times in a relationship? Oh, so I would say from the beginning to now, I am not scared anymore to like communicate how I'm really feeling and what it is that I want or how it is that something made me feel. I'm a lot better about just leaving it all on the table.
Starting point is 00:40:09 And honestly, I have to tell you, every single time that I bring up something that's bothering me or something that I want him to work through or us to work through, it's the best ever why. Why, question. Why do you think it's great? What do you think comes after that? What comes after a great conversation of working through something that's stressing you both? You're closer together.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Yes. And then the sex is amazing. And then you guys grow closer together from that. But seriously, like having communication and talking to each other has been the best thing. Like I used to always be scared. I used to be scared of like, what if I bring this up, because I hate controversy. So if I bring this up, am I gonna seem like I'm tough to date?
Starting point is 00:40:49 Am I gonna be tough to live with? And that's like such like a false narrative that I was just feeding to myself. So always speak up, say what it is that you want, because honestly. But how did you find that confidence to do that? Exploding from keeping it all in for so long, and then like one little thing happening, and then it all coming out. So we just talk through it now in for so long. And then like one little thing happening
Starting point is 00:41:05 and then it all coming out. So we just talk through it now all the time. I love that. I actually went through something similar. I never could speak up in my early 20s. I also think it's age too and just maturing and realizing men can't read your mind. So if you want something, you gotta speak up.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Yes. Yes. Wait, what did you say? Did you say thank you? Because you want men to be told what it is that you want? No, he wants his wife probably to speak up and say what she wants. What? Okay, right. See, I think we all go through that.
Starting point is 00:41:39 It's very relatable. It is scary in your early 20s to ask for what you need. But then you grow up and you realize if I want this, I better speak the fuck up. Otherwise I'm never gonna get it. And it's, but. What? Or be a lesbian.
Starting point is 00:41:53 I've thought about that. I've thought about that. It's hard out there with the boys. So. I love you. Like, I'm not mad at that idea, honestly. How many lesbians are here tonight? One. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:06 I'm honored that you're here. Have you ever had a lesbian experience? No. Nothing. No, I haven't. No, I haven't either. And like, wait, but like weirdly in my dreams though, not in real life.
Starting point is 00:42:27 I think it's because you want to dabble. You want to test it out. I don't know. You're curious. I like wake up and I'm like, Rob, I have to tell you something. Yeah, he's like, hell yeah. I didn't have a dream that you cheated on me.
Starting point is 00:42:36 I had a dream that I was like sleeping with another woman. He was like, tell me more. He was like, yeah, invite her in. What? Well, I don't know what anyone in the audience is saying. Oh my God. Camille, I love you so much. You are the absolute best, but I'm not done with you. I want to play a drinking game with you. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:42:57 But Camille doesn't really drink, so we're going to be nice to her and give her wellness shots. But I'll actually be doing tequila. Oh, I know. They're all like, oh, I'm like, guys, they're cay her wellness shots. But I'll actually be doing tequila. Oh, I'm like, oh, I'm like, guys, they're cayenne ginger shots. It's not ideal. You don't want to be taking like four of these shots. I feel like I'm gonna want to drink alcohol. Would you rather have tequila? We can get you tequila. Oh my gosh. I don't know, yours look kind of good. Oh, you're taking tequila? I'm doing tequila. No, it's tequila.
Starting point is 00:43:22 Okay, so we're playing Sipper Spill. You guys know that game? Do you want one? I think that's water. No, it's not. I think it is. All right, so we're playing Sipper Spill. So we have four questions in front of us and you get to go first.
Starting point is 00:43:40 And we're gonna read them. You can answer it or take a shot. Okay. Do the honors. Read it out loud, Camille. Do you want me to read it for you? Yeah. Are you so good?
Starting point is 00:43:53 Which wag was the rudest to you? Oh, come on! Camille! You're too nice, that's the problem. I couldn't. You're too nice. I couldn't. All right, all right.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Oh my God. Wait, what did she say? I don't think I've ever talked about it. We're gonna get to the bottom of everything she said, you guys, we're gonna do a research. I hate drama, I hate it. I know, you're a good person. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Me on the other hand. Tell us who the athletes are that you're talking to at the moment. Is this your question? Yeah. Oh, I was like, wait, what? Oh, Kristen. What are you gonna do?
Starting point is 00:44:36 I can't. Ah! You wanna know why I can't, you guys? Because there's two of them. No. No. So, say one. Say one. You want to know why I can't you guys because there's two of them. Say one. Say one.
Starting point is 00:44:51 Oh, it's not Tom Brady I swear on my life. Can confirm. I like this question actually. Camille do you Camille Camille Camille. I am drunk off a ginger shot. Do you ever judge Rob for his partying since you don't drink? Yes, all the time.
Starting point is 00:45:12 He is like the, we call him Rob the slob. He loves, he doesn't party as much as he did, but he definitely, oh my gosh. You get mad, like do you wake up in the morning and you're kinda like. I don't get mad, I just get, you wanna know what I get? The ick. Like I'm always like, ugh.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Like sir, you're supposed to like take care of me. Yeah. I'm taking care of you and imagine like a 270 pound, six foot six man like hanging over you like ugh. Like that's literally. Ew, a drunk guy is the biggest turn off, especially when you're not drunk. And when he would throw up, he wouldn't throw up like he's a big man.
Starting point is 00:45:48 I didn't drink on his top now. He wouldn't. He was. He's such a big man that like when he has to vomit, it's not the toilet, it's the bathtub. Yeah. Yeah. And we would have a and I wouldn't hear him sometimes in the middle of the night. And then all of a sudden, at like four in the morning, the bathtub has like this self-cleaning technology and be like,
Starting point is 00:46:12 and I was like, you take a bath. He was like, no, that is vile. So I appreciate the honest answer on that one. Oh, my God. Have you ever lied publicly about hooking up with an athlete? No, I really, no. You guys know every fucking athlete I've hooked up with. I think you guys know every person I've hooked up with. Like there's no secrets anymore. I feel like I just watched a video of you lately. I love it. Where's Justin? I love Justin. He's the best.
Starting point is 00:46:44 I don't know why. Oh, do we not know where Justin is? I love Justin. He's the best. I don't know why. Oh, do we not know where Justin is? No. Well, okay. I don't know where he is either, so I just asked, but I feel like when you do... Oh my God, Red Bull! Shoot!
Starting point is 00:46:59 Wait. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. That's why I said where is he? No, but I feel like you guys had the best of that suspect video. That suspect trend. That was so good. Like I feel like you don't you're like you truly are an open book. I think I am you are. I've become more of an open book in the last couple years. This fucking podcast has really just opened
Starting point is 00:47:23 the floodgates. I mean same. Why am I here? I think I'm gonna have anxiety tomorrow. I'm gonna wake up like what did we say? Oh no. Okay what's your next question? Okay. Team Giselle. Oh! Do it, do it, do it! Take the shot, take the shot! Oh man, you're drunk, you're hammered. I'm sorry. I know, you'd get shit for that. I have love for both. Okay, who was a wag that was mean to you?
Starting point is 00:48:05 Similar to yours. I'm not kidding you guys. No one was ever mean to me. I can honestly say that my experience being a wag was really good. But I think I'll just be honest with you guys because that's all I know how to fucking do. I think me coming in already having been on TV made it a lot easier for me. Yeah. People were like excited to meet me and they everyone was so nice to me. And you're like if you're going to talk shit it's not the first time. Let's fucking go. Don't come for me.
Starting point is 00:48:31 My army will come for you. Okay, your last one. I'm scared. Oh, Kristin. Who said I did these? Okay, okay. I don't really know how I feel about this. Be honest.
Starting point is 00:48:39 Are you upset that you're not going to be able to do this? Oh, Kristen. Who said I did these? Okay, okay. I don't really know how I feel about this. Be honest, are you upset that Rob hasn't given you a ring yet? Too far? Too far? I will say. No, I'm, guys, let's think of this. No, no, no. It's okay, it's okay, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:49:03 Think about this. If it wasn't ultimatum for me, I wouldn't be here anymore. I mean it when I say that I don't believe that marriage and a ring on my finger determines my happiness and our loyalty and our love. I think that'll be a bonus. I'm not going to lie. I would love to be like, it's here. I would you know, but, and I would love to show that off. I don't know what's taking so long.
Starting point is 00:49:28 If I'm gonna be honest, I feel like out of all the things we do in our life, like I really take the reins. And I feel like this is like the one thing that I don't wanna hold his hand and be like, let's go to the diamond, just stick together. Like I want him to do it by himself. So I'm not upset.
Starting point is 00:49:46 I'm not upset. Okay. We love that. Yes. I'm happy. I'm okay. Exactly. No, you make solid points though. You don't need a ring. I hope this is good. What's the last conversation you had on Raya? I'm back on Raya by the way. Yeah. Okay, actually, I matched with a guy in Boston. Is he here? He was, he's really cute, and he asked me to get drinks after the show! I'm not gonna go. I'm not going. I know. Maybe I'll do it for the plot. I don't know. I don't know. He. I don't know. He's 27, you guys.
Starting point is 00:50:28 Like. How old was Mark? 24. Like we need to start being like 30s, well at least 40s, like you know what I mean, trend up that way. So, okay, Camille, you're a rock star. I love you.
Starting point is 00:50:43 You guys, give it up for Camille. I love you. You're the best. You're the best. And I love you. You guys give it up for Camille. You're the best. I want to take one more. Yeah, take one for the road. Camille's getting lit. Am I gone? Am I good? You can fit, yeah, but I mean, don't... I love you guys.
Starting point is 00:50:57 I love you. Isn't she the best, you guys? Thank you guys so much for coming. I fucking love you, Boston. I love you guys.
