We catch up on MAFS and whether the public ‘punishment’ fits the crime or if the outrage tips the scale. We speak about the really controversial participant and how ‘red pill/black pill’ language has entered the chat.  Confessionals are back! Some are light and easily forgiven, others are… diabolical! Do you tell your partner everything? What about secrets that friends have asked you to keep to yourself? There’s an article in Vogue UK called “Please, Stop Telling Your Partner My Secrets”. Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys and welcome back to another episode of Life Uncut. I'm Brittany. I'm Laura. Hi, how are we? We having a good day? Great. We're having a great day. Are you having a good day, Luz? I'm having a fantastic time. I am, except for my fridge, but we can get into that. I said to Britt I had a story. We can't kickstart with the fridge. I said to Britt to have a story my fridge is broken and then we've just spent the last 20 minutes paying me out because apparently that content's not good enough it's equivalent to keisha's bin story from 2025 don't drag me into this no what was the story where you guys hooked them where you're like britney's big news what was the news again i can't i don't know but we did last year it wasn't big
Starting point is 00:00:47 news but that episode went to number one last year we named a podcast episode because brit kept saying she had a big news and a big story and it was a joke it was a really not big story and not big news and i titled the episode britney's news britney's big announcement and everyone thought it was a pregnancy announcement so you all the episode went to number one and i'm pretty sure it was just like something about delilah losing weight or something like it was not a big story i put the big news in quotation marks and laura removed them yeah yeah keisha was like hey we've got big news trying to indicate that it wasn't and i was like no if we're gonna hook them in And we need the downloads.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Click on that link, everybody. So what's happened with your fridge? No, the fridge can wait. I know. You brought it in. You found a way to make it your first sentence. Talk about the fridge. No, I'm going to hold the suspense, you guys, or just wait.
Starting point is 00:01:36 Just wait. All right, guys, coming up, Laura's big news. But I just want to quickly. Big fridge news. I want to tell you something stupid I did. So when I was overseas with Ben over the last five weeks of Christmas my property that I have back here needed a new deck like the deck rotted through and I had to replace it and I had to have all these pictures to send on like the before and
Starting point is 00:01:59 afters and this back to my property manager right and so I was liaising personally with the builder that was liaising yeah liaising it just seems like a big word it's so early in the morning liaising is not a big word it's liaising I think am I wrong and I think it's I think it's potato potato. There was a thread about things that we mispronounced in the Facebook group last week. I know, someone I regretted approving. It's
Starting point is 00:02:28 liaising is liaising. I don't care. Let me tell my story. I liaised it with arsenic. Also, I liaised it with a roofie. What did you liaised your deck with, Britt? That's laced. If you're going to drug someone, lace them properly. Don't liaised them with a deck.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Don't liaised them. Okay, so I called spoke back and forth I liased with the builder and I'm gonna die on that hill that's how I'm gonna say it right anyway so we were going back and forth with pictures and what I didn't realize is during that time I was sorting out with the builder but I forgot to tell my manager what was I didn't update her right and so I had an email from her saying hey what are the updates like I'm still looking can you send where you're at what's happening blah blah blah I want the progress and I missed it until I got back here and so I was going back through my emails a couple
Starting point is 00:03:23 of days ago and I saw her message and I was like oh my god far out and I wrote to her and I said I'm so sorry for the delay I've been overseas on holiday here are the pictures of the deck and so I had to go back to the pictures of the deck to find them and that was obviously I received those from the builder while I was on holiday and so I sent them to her off I went and then I got a message back and she's like thanks for the update holiday looks good they talked about the deck and I was like holiday looks good and I looked at the pictures I attached because I like just selected the deck pictures I just sent her my holiday pictures as well so I had written back to my property manager and I was like sorry I've been busy on holiday and then I attached my holiday
Starting point is 00:04:01 pictures here's the evidence I did it was and she was like why here's a picture of Britney at Christmas here's a picture of Britney at the beach I just like sent her my holiday pictures it would 17 bikini photos and she's like, you look great. It was wind up. Thank fuck. Thank fuck. Imagine if I just attached her like 50 pictures of me in the beach. Rig shots.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Anyway, very embarrassing. So anyway, I didn't write back either. I just lent in. You know how you're like, I'll just own that I sent her my holiday pictures. It's like proof that it didn't happen. Instead of just being like, I'm sorry, it was an accident. No, because she got the deck as well. Oh, great.
Starting point is 00:04:30 So she got a page. She got what she needed. She got extra. She got a bonus. And you know what? I'm sure she really enjoyed getting a little look behind the scenes of Brittany Hockley's luscious holiday with her partner but the funniest thing is they weren't even the good pictures they were just like pictures of food at home and stuff like they've been and cooked it was like a
Starting point is 00:04:47 spaghetti bolognese or something I was like this wasn't even highlight she was like wow that looks great the amount of times though that's an easy mistake to make a very easy mistake to make the amount of times where I've like accidentally just like group selected and then not on purpose but you know when you're like scrolling just scrolling back and so you accidentally hit one thing and then you scroll through and like that one rogue thing from like six months prior is what ends up in the little package that you send off. I didn't want to say anything, but I have so many pictures of your labia that you accidentally sent me. You have not. Yeah, that you just accidentally attached. I mean, I do take a lot of photos of my labia, but like, I don't think I've sent anything.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Do you know who I did take a video of? Your labia, please. No, this is the first time I've ever done it. I took a video of Poppy breastfeeding from above so that I have like a video memory of actually breastfeeding a baby. Oh wow, the overhead. Yeah, like the angle of which I see her feeding. Did you set it up or did you hold her hand up? No, I just held, I just recorded Ariel. I just was like, don't drop the phone. Did you get a drone? She's actually teaching Cobby to take selfies. Don't drop the phone on the baby's face. I was holding it and I probably recorded like a minute of her feeding. She was also really distracted. She's like, what's that black thing? So she kept looking at the camera. I have a few of them actually, not just one,
Starting point is 00:05:55 but every time I roll through to show someone something, I'm like, oh, I have to scroll past fast because there's just a big it's not that it's anything that I feel like I can't show someone but it's just the angle of it is quite confronting if you were looking through my phone I would say it's just a big boob and a tiny little baby I don't think she's starting I just think that's great cinematography at its finest thank you yeah I would like to see it I'll show you okay I'll show you I'm gonna keep that memory for forever I'll send it to you in a group please do accidentally you know how um you just said that like if you have the phone above poppy and that you like don't drop it on a face have you guys ever been scrolling on the lounge or in bed when you've got
Starting point is 00:06:30 your phone above you for so long and you've accidentally dropped it onto your face and it feels like a brick has smashed your entire head I haven't done that because I would not ever scroll where it's hard work so like to hold my arm up so I would just lay on my side and scroll with on the side that makes way more sense I absolutely have done that Keisha and I have also dropped my phone on my children so like I have get used to it Poppy the reason why I know that it's not a comfortable thing for them to experience is because i have dropped my phone also i haven't mentioned this and i'm sure no one cares but i'll tell you anyway i have had pins and needles in my thumb for about four weeks like continuous pins and needles and i thought it was carpal tunnel from
Starting point is 00:07:10 like holding poppy because you know you can get carpal tunnel but i think actually it might be from my holding my phone so why do you never reply good one keisha answer that laura the number of question marks we have to add on your text because answering messages overwhelms me i just like to see them and then just go fast you're like fuck off i'm trying to take a video from the right angle yesterday i had asked laura so many questions and then i could see she was responding in a group chat and i was like bitch go answer my questions so i had to go back and do the question marks it's overwhelming for me unless you send me repetitive messages i need at least five in a row before I write back to one noted no I know it just but like I know that there's
Starting point is 00:07:56 other people like me out there that unless they've had continuous incessant messages that person clearly doesn't want contact with me enough if you send one message it's not enough she's playing hard to get totally do you know who needs to really really know this my mom my mom sends one message and then she's like you didn't reply to me and I'm like you only sent one text what did you expect it you're in the role yeah she's a one text should be enough like people don't shouldn't have to take it's never enough we know that we absolutely know that but what we're saying is it it should be oh anyway okay can you get to the fridge now yeah i'd love to hear about the fridge laws please i've been on the edge of my seat what happened to your fridge so
Starting point is 00:08:32 the fridge broke oh what what what oh my god we have a broken fridge okay if just bear with me for this story all right because it's i don't know where it's going but we might end in a destination we bought a new fridge in october it's only four months old or five months old however many months it's been that's four months and um thank you i'm i'm not here to do the maths i'm just here to tell the story so we bought a new fridge because our old fridge funnily enough broke we are in this great like period of our lives where every electronic or every appliance that we own is breaking all simultaneously it's like one after the other so the fridge is broken and
Starting point is 00:09:11 I cannot tell you how inconvenient it is when you have a broken fridge when you have liters of breast milk that's been frozen and stored also you have three children and so like it broke on the weekend obviously having a fridge break is inconvenient when it's just two people at a house but when you have three children a mother-in-law and then two other people living in a house firstly where does all the food go where do you put it all it's filled our entire bin and we have no fridge not only do we have no fridge we had no fridge for several days because even though it's under warranty they were like oh we'll send someone out to repair it but that person's not free until march and then in the interim we can give you a temporary fridge that
Starting point is 00:09:48 you can keep in your house so now we just have to hook up a second fridge in our dining room and we just have a fridge hanging out in the dining room do you think fridges are now like apple where like they make them to break so you get like five months out of it no because they're going to come and repair it but anyway it's very very annoying but the reason why this is something that I feel like we've been cursed with is because every single major appliance in the past six months has broken. We had to replace our dishwasher. That broke. The fridge broke. It just feels like everything is breaking and I don't know why. Could it be user error? Yeah. I wanted to enter that carefully, but I think there is something consistent in these
Starting point is 00:10:25 stories. At this point in time, potentially. Didn't you tell a story of one of the girls climbing on the shelves to get something? Oh my God, that was the old fridge. We broke that one as well even you broke that how have we gone through three fridges in six months someone's using them wrong fuck you can't climb a fridge like how aggressively are you ripping those doors off no so I do think actually it was my fault I accidentally left the freezer door open ajar slightly and apparently if you leave your freezer door ajar it frosts up the whole thing and then the frosting is what blows the internal anyway so it was you yeah yeah it was It was me, but it's still inconvenient.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Does this void the warranty? I don't know. We're not going to talk about that just in case. Matt's put the warranty claim in, so hopefully they don't know. Imagine if they message you and they're like, hey, we listened to Life on Car. Your warranty's actually void. You're a Westinghouse. You ain't getting a new fridge, you fuck.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Fix it yourself. Or before she goes, do you think I'm cursed? Do you think I have some kind of appliance ghost? And I was like, no, I think you're ripping the doors off your fridge. No, I think I am cursed, and it's with undiagnosed ADHD. i think that that's very evident it is diagnosed we diagnosed it a blessing and a curse do you know what you don't want to hear this but this is weird too no it's not about adhd okay i thought you're gonna pay me out it's about i don't you know i'm fragile at the moment you don't want
Starting point is 00:11:42 to hear this because it's the opposite but something weird happened to my fridge two days ago everything was the opposite everything started to be frozen so like my fridge temperature somehow dropped to like it's the ghost bread you know you can set the temperature you probably just tapped it. No, I didn't tap it at all. I don't tap it. If anyone's been following along for a while, Brittany thinks that there's ghosts living in her house. So this is where she's getting to sage it. I already sage it and made myself unwell. I was in my spare bedroom. That makes it sound like I have heaps. I have two bedrooms, one main one, one spare bedroom. I was in my spare bedroom the other day sitting on my sofa and I was on the phone to somebody and I swear to God, I know I
Starting point is 00:12:22 have said this before there is a ghost and i know it because delilah she sees them she looked up and she was not just looking she was following something around the room and like dogs know they have a sixth sense and i was like what is it lassie is there a ghost in the room and her eyes were panicked she could and she was like really staying really close to me and she just followed this thing around the room there was no flies there was nothing bet you was a fruit fly Yeah, Brittany just hasn't taken the garbage out. Fuck off. All right, solid story, Lauren.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Not much has been happening. I was going to say Rach who loved my bin stories. I wonder how Rach feels about this. I can't wait to see the comments in Spotify. Rach, please jump on Spotify and let us know how boring the fridge story was. I'm really sorry. Not a lot has been happening in my life. No, I was joking.
Starting point is 00:13:05 You know what has been happening? Maths. Maths. Oh, my gosh. You guys know Married at First Sight has taken over our lives. We are hosting After the Dinner Party. Came out last week. it was the very first episode and the whole premise of the show it's kind of an unpack but
Starting point is 00:13:20 it's a bit more in depth than that we're unpacking some of the themes and things that happen on the show we interview some of the participants we hold participants to account if we think that the behavior or whatever's happened is something that's worth like actually dissecting it is the same conversations that we would have here except it's with people and also it's with so much more behind the scenes footage than what was actually shown on the show like it's really in depth and I yeah it's cool the cool thing is is like it's the conversations we have here but instead of them being about people they're to the person like they're to the person that we think has done something abhorrent or said something we don't agree with but it's also to the people it's to
Starting point is 00:13:57 the good people too like it's the people that are in love like we have good conversations on there as well yeah and you know the other thing on that brit is and what i found i guess kind of enlightening about the whole thing is for so long participants off the back of maths have been doing podcast interviews or interviews with media like there is always such a machine that fuels behind Married at First Sight right and so these participants go out and they tell their version of the story their version of what happened when the show finished their version of like what producers impacted or what the producers had to say and you know it's a one-sided story and now there is also their story so they're sitting on the couch they're telling it that part is still
Starting point is 00:14:37 happening it's happening on our show but the accountability piece is that it has to be truthful because there is so much additional footage so when someone says oh well I didn't say that or this person said this it's like oh hold on wait a second that's actually maybe something I prepared earlier literally yeah that actually might not be the truth and the reality is that we're not always a very good narrator of our own stories our memory of things is not always reliable especially some of the participants wanting to kind of change the story a little bit or reflect themselves in a better light that's something that we've seen in past years on podcasts where they're able to reframe the story and I think this show really does scream
Starting point is 00:15:13 and ask for accountability for the behavior rather than attacking the person can I ask like there's something that we've always spoken about and it's that you see a certain version of people on reality tv particularly if they're like the bad person on the show and often it will be like the worst shit that they will ever do and if you know that person personally or you kind of meet them years later or whatever you're like yeah you know I know that they did or said this bad thing they're not as bad as what the public thought I think meeting people in person it humanizes them right because you realize that people are complex and that there are multiple layers is it weird for you guys to then see these people in person directly after you've been shown you
Starting point is 00:15:53 know some of the worst behavior is that a weird feeling for you where you recognize that there are layers to people even though you need to talk about a specific bad thing that they've done it definitely is it definitely does humanize them especially because you're like hey how are you welcome to the show like you you have these little conversations with them but what I would say is it's no more than what I am normally I definitely give people the benefit of the doubt more than I don't and I definitely realize that humans make mistakes and one mistake doesn't mean they should be cancelled like I always do that and I always want to give people the chance to be accountable I'm not talking about people on this show I'm talking about in general like you guys know some
Starting point is 00:16:35 of the shit that people have done to me in the past it's like the psychopathic exes and things like that and it's like I always have probably sometimes too much grace but I'm like cool we're all humans living this life at the same time for the first time it doesn't excuse behaviors and 100% you're there to call it out but if somebody is stepping up and saying that was so bad I am mortified I don't know what happened I'm taking accountability I wish I never did that I'm sorry to everyone involved and they are actually willing to change I hate then when people come in and say oh good apology but not good enough like they're fronting up and they're trying to be a better person and I think there's something in that obviously there are behaviors in life that will
Starting point is 00:17:17 never be excusable but when we're bringing it back down to this level this is a show a letting everybody say their side of the story so people can still make their judgments like people are always going to make their judgments but it's better to make a judgment when you have heard from all different sides and and at the end of the day so many people complain about a show like maths being like well we don't actually know what happened it's just a tv show that's true we don't know what happened in the other 23 hours but this is giving so much more context to those situations yeah and if you guys watch last week's dinner party that was the one that was like absolutely diabolical in terms of like the woman on women behavior like the the women were so horrific to
Starting point is 00:17:56 each other and it kind of felt like watching our show felt like the antidote to that in terms of like we had Alyssa and we had Stella on the couch who were the the two women who were copying the brunt of the abuse and they were able to share what happened that wasn't the edited version do you mean it was like what happened to them how they experienced it where things are now you know six or five months later however long it's been what happened after what led to it like there's so much more context I find that's not shown on the show but I do think something that's really really important and it's a conversation that comes up every single year it's whether the crime that you commit on a reality tv show warrants or is ever equivalent to the level of abuse that you
Starting point is 00:18:42 receive from the Australian public in dms in messages it is like a torrent of abuse and if you guys are in our Facebook group we have a Facebook group called life uncut discussion group we love our group like we love that group so much 99.9 of the time it is the fucking tits and you guys are all amazing but i was absolutely fucking disgusted to see someone writing horrible things to one of the participants who behave badly and sending it to their friends because obviously the participants had their comments turned off and had their dms turned off so you can't contact them directly but writing like your friend is a bitch and sending that to someone in the hopes that that then makes it back to the participant it's not on and that had been screenshot and put
Starting point is 00:19:29 in our group obviously i deleted it and i also removed that person from being within our group but it does raise this question of like an eye for an eye like just because someone behaves badly on a reality tv show does that then open them up to the unending criticism from the australian public Well, I think, I mean, I want to answer that. No, it doesn't warrant it. Somebody's behavior on TV, of course they need to be held accountable. But the way that people handle things is somebody does something that you don't agree with and that is not okay. We get that. But imagine then having, and I'm talking 2 million people watch the Australian maths, 2 million. So imagine also the people in the UK and America. Imagine the onslaught. Well, you don't think. They do. And
Starting point is 00:20:14 they'll tell you they'll also tell your family they'll also tell your friends that shit's not cool and we really do try and take a no bullying policy in our life and cut discussion group and you know if you guys are going to write horrific things like that we are going to remove you because we don't want to encourage it but you can still hold people to account and not support them without sending them death threats and trolling and these really cruel things because at the end of the day that is a person that made some horrific mistakes no one's excusing their behavior but it doesn't mean that they should be put into a very unstable mental state. Yeah. And I guess like the big thing is we all, and this is what we do, critique the behavior,
Starting point is 00:20:51 but don't critique the person, right? Like critique the behavior, critique what was wrong with it, but let's not go the person necessarily. So that I guess has been, it's a fine line to tread because ultimately we want to have these discussions. We always have had them on the pod and now we're having them on an even bigger platform on a TV show on Stan, but we also don't want to be contributing to the pylon that's happening with people so it's a really fine dance to kind of navigate one which is going to be particularly interesting in tonight's because oh you guys need to watch tonight yeah i have a lot of really strong feelings and also i'm going to find it quite challenging to go up against this person and that's tyson so tyson is a new
Starting point is 00:21:32 groom that's entered the experiment he quote unquote says that he has very traditional values but the values are so deeply entrenched in misogyny. He says he doesn't like woke people. He doesn't like woke people. He cares about body count. Quite misogynistic. He talks about wanting a wife who's submissive. He's very, very stuck on masculine and feminine energy.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Like it just seems to be this really recurring theme that the second he sees his bride, he's like, and if you guys are watching, you've seen this. He says, oh, I'm just getting like, she's very dominant, very masculine energy. And it's like she hasn't even done anything yet. she hasn't even spoken and it's just a really weird thing that seems to be stuck and attached to him throughout the series and he seems to attribute ambition with dominance and dominance
Starting point is 00:22:17 with masculinity and aggression and it's it's a real I mean I find him to be honest like yes one part of me is outraged when I watched it I was like fucking fuming but the other part of me sees him as a caricature like I actually just find it so unbelievable that someone lives with this kind of like very cemented belief systems and I know that there's going to be people out there who are watching it who are thinking why would we platform this and there's so much of that conversation that goes on why would we put this on mainstream tv why would we platform this the reason it's platformed is because these people exist red pill conversations are rife at the moment the manosphere conversations exist and so it's so important to platform it so that the
Starting point is 00:22:57 conversations are had around why it's problematic but they don't just exist they exist in droves and they're increasing rapidly because of the Andrew Tate's of the world. So like we're especially seeing it in the younger generation now. There are so many surveys of younger men who are now leaning towards more traditional, quote unquote traditional, Andrew Tate type views, which is really concerning. And that is why these people are platformed. They're not only, of course, like it's a show, right?
Starting point is 00:23:23 Of course, they're platformed to have conversations. Of course, they're put on the show to cause some kind of drama, but they're also platformed because this is just another person of the population of which there are many. yeah they represent i also think something that's good about those conversations happening in a public space is that general people and myself included learned the language that they use so you know how you just said like oh he's got very traditional values they have adopted this type of like vernacular almost they say one thing but you have to know what it actually means well this is
Starting point is 00:23:52 the thing about tyson i'm not entirely sure if he knows what he means that's the problem yeah so i actually don't have an issue with a traditional setup in terms of, you know, a guy working and a mom wanting to stay home and take care of the kids. If that's what the mom chooses, the whole purpose of feminism existing is that we have a choice to choose the lives that we want to live. If you are someone who has decided, you know what, I want to stay home with my kids. I don't want to have to have the stresses of having to worry about my career because my husband is out there doing that and he provides equally and he allows me to have equal access to money and ambitions and everything else in my own right fucking great if that works for you that is not the issue
Starting point is 00:24:32 it's when somebody couples this idea of traditional views with things like compliance obedience with a hierarchy within a household with I'm the dominant you're the feminine so therefore you sit below me like that is where the issue comes from and the problem with Tyson is he's such a walking contradiction on one hand he said submissive but then on the other hand he's like you know I don't want them to be a slave I don't want them to be at home doing this I still want them to have a job like he says one thing and then he completely says another and none of it matches up now look having said all that his behavior absolutely is unacceptable and I don't imagine there is one woman that has watched this show and is not like raging on her couch that wants to
Starting point is 00:25:14 scream at him that wants to school him that wants to teach him because it's everything he has said so far has given me the shivers like I'm like you have given me so much of the fucking ick it's yeah it's a massive ick because on one hand he's like any woman would want what i have to give and on the other hand every single every single woman in australia is screaming at this tv being like this is why you're fucking single you have no idea like you're the problem women want in general and it's just this very like i said it's this very confused use of this idea of traditional values the manosphere it's like fucking red pill bullshit that's all being wrapped up in the perfect little trad wife beau and being like but I can give you ballerina farm and that's actually
Starting point is 00:25:58 not what it's saying you know and I do question because this is the one thing that I think is going to be challenging for us and something that we've never done before is every time we interview on this podcast it's always people that have views and ideas that align with us like it's very rare that we interview someone who we're like actually you are wrong you are wrong I disagree with everything you're saying and I don't want to fucking talk to you right like we never have to do that whereas in this situation now that's exactly the conversation we have to do first we have to listen to what he has to say but then we also have to explain and hold account the behavior and why that's a problem so if you haven't watched the show fucking come on down
Starting point is 00:26:37 after the dinner party it's on stan and um I like I said the other week I'm scared it's gonna be great. The one thing I do want to say is, and this is so cool, all that you guys that came and watched, you guys made this the number one show Stan has ever had on launch. So it was the biggest show Stan has had, which is so cool. I know this doesn't mean much to you, but Gus Gould, if you're from the NRL world, you'll likely know who he is. He tweeted or posted on X about you guys and about how good the show was. And that was so funny to me because I thought of all of the people that I expect to be watching after the dinner party I don't know how old Gus is I would assume mid-60s he used to be a footballer he's now he's still he's been a coach he's now involved I think in
Starting point is 00:27:21 management he wasn't the demo that I expected and he's yet he still loved it Laura and I did say all we wanted to do was win over the NRL community so thank you thank you but in honor of maths we wanted to bring back confessionals this is something we've done on and off sporadically on the podcast for quite a while mate if you're an OG listener you will know that we used to do confessionals all the time. They are cooked. They are fucked. You will always be anonymous, but we've decided to bring it back and I'm going to kick it off with some that have left me with true amounts of trauma. All right, here we go. So my husband drank my pee sample thinking it was his morning Barocca. Hear me out. He adds a whole heap of powders and different things to his
Starting point is 00:27:59 protein shakes in the morning and always dumps in a Barocca. He thought I just made one for him ready my sample was gone i peed in a glass and yes i've never told him no he fucking didn't so why are you peeing in a glass she peed on the kitchen bench she peed in a glass sorry that was a stitch up she left it next to the barocca in a glass on the bed she peed in a glass she put it on the bench because she needed to collect a pee sample and her husband has come along and thought thanks sweetie you made a barocca for me to put into my protein shake no you know he poured it straight in and drank her urine apparently you know what urine looks and smells like he's got a urine fetish sorry she's in the wrong here i'm not saying he's wrong this is too elaborate to be not
Starting point is 00:28:41 true the points that she had to go through to actually fabricate this story there is no reason why she would make this up to send this to me do you know what this reminds me of when you were a kid kissing in a glass and your boyfriend drinking it yeah a vomit bowl and it was also it was always the popcorn bowl yeah it was always the bowl that you would put popcorn in the microwave why did we not have separate sorry no we had are you pissing in a cup that you could drink from and why do we have a bowl that we all threw up in that ours was always a saucepan pot it was a big pot with like no we had we had a vomit bowl it was an old napolitana ice cream plastic container and it was always under the sink so it wasn't like you didn't reuse it oh was i elite having one
Starting point is 00:29:21 that doubled as a popcorn ball i don't know if it's elite if you're vomiting and then making your popcorn the next day that's not okay also I'm wondering how many people sympathize with this we're gonna be like that's just a you thing Keisha no every childhood has a vomit every family has a vomit bowl yeah every time I talk about something like this you know what was the most recent one when I spoke about when you were a kid and you look out the window and pretend that you were in a film clip I got so many messages so many you hung me out to dry Laura you said I'd be the only one did anyone respond to my story about pretending when I was a kid that I had that box and I used to act all the time and think I found my treasure or did you guys cut that out
Starting point is 00:29:57 of the episode no no one responded to it like it was like an it was off the back of you maybe they responded to both of us or maybe we deleted it I can't be sure it was my acting scene when I used to practice acting in my bedroom no you cut that out didn't you I don't think I cut it but I don't think I got any messages about it I went to NIDA so jokes on you short course short course short course I've got one guys this is pretty cooked I'll admit but it's about the stupid cost of IVF. I have a desperate desire to have a baby. I'm contemplating getting a guy who I regularly slept with in the past to knock me up and claim it was my husband's baby. This is because the issue for us is male factory infertility. My husband already has three kids. I'm his second
Starting point is 00:30:40 wife and I'm kid free. So I feel like it's not a big deal. Fucking cooked, but also smart business venture. Wait, she's going to do. She can't fall pregnant with her husband. So she's going to go and get knocked up from someone else but pretend it's her husband's. Does her husband know she's going to go and sleep with someone else? No. She's pretending it's his and she's like, it's not a big deal. It's a big deal. It's a big deal.
Starting point is 00:31:00 It's probably a big deal to the other people. Do you want to know why it's a big deal and why this won't work? I don't think you need to explain it. I think we all know it's a big fucking deal. No, Ancestry.com. You can't get away with this stuff anymore. Back in the day, you could fuck your neighbor and no one was going to find out unless you came home with a bit of perfume on you
Starting point is 00:31:16 or a bit of lipstick. Now, trust me, if you're going to go and do a hinge date and you're going to have sex with a random stranger, your kid's going to find out and they're going to be traumatised. They're going to be 20, they're going to be laughing along with their friends, doing Ancestry.com, and it's going to come back, he ain't your daddy. Guys, it's not that.
Starting point is 00:31:30 It's also the dad. He thinks he's a dad forever and then finds out he's not the dad. Well, he's still a dad. He's just not the biological dad. Get over it. Whose side are you on? Laura's like, actually, it's not a big deal. Apparently, it's way more common.
Starting point is 00:31:41 I think it's about 10% of people who think that their father is one person. and it turns out that genetically it's not. Who's your daddy? You just got to think about how similar they look, right? No, because it could be more obvious. I've never done my Ancestry.com. Maybe I should.
Starting point is 00:31:56 No. I love Terry Byrne. Let's tell the real story about that. I reckon something's cooked for you. Okay, I did do my Ancestry. I was going to do a job for Ancestry.com. Matt and I both were going to do a job. We were going to work with them, right?
Starting point is 00:32:09 It was all planned. I was really excited, so excited. and then I spat in my little tube and Matt spat in his little tube and we sent it off and then we just got back an email that was like oh the tests are incomplete and we don't have time to proceed with the job and I was like do you know something that we don't know Terry Bird yeah they were like oh sorry we can't talk about this they're like we can't get you guys be siblings they were like we can't no but you know what they did they didn't even offer for them to do it again they were like oh something happened with your results bye and I was like oh you're something's
Starting point is 00:32:40 wrong with you are you guys like more closely related than you realize like you're actually and they're like we just don't we don't want to put drama on them imagine if matt and i were cousins and they're like that's not good for our advertising campaign okay all right continue i fake it every time i have an orgasm with my husband i've never had an orgasm with my husband well only you're losing out on that no one wins from that yeah but i think if it's been that long you're probably not going to have one depending on how long you've been married i think if it's been six years of zero orgasms good luck I fart all the time in public and blame it on my baby same babe same there was a similar one actually I'm pregnant and work in child care 100% mean
Starting point is 00:33:17 farting near the kids and blaming them well that's easy to do okay this one I farted in Kmart the other day and I blamed Marley I was like actually I blamed Lola and Lola will always take it like a champ she goes yeah I'm a farting girl she doesn't know she doesn't know she's five she knows do you know what she calls us so we do this gratitude thing right and it's like why are we lucky as a family and so instead of trying to gassy in China instead of trying to like teach gratitude to the kids because that's like just like too big a concept I'm like we're a lucky family because and then we have to say one thing that we're lucky because and I was like Lola we're a lucky family because and she goes because we're allowed to fart and it's funny and I was like it's
Starting point is 00:33:56 true it's true girlfriend like that's my girl that's my girl it will always be funny in our house well she doesn't need to do an ancestry DNA test does she okay I was fucking twins simultaneously or just both of them there is a strapping there's a story okay a few years ago i was casually seeing a guy for a couple months he ended up moving interstate i was heartbroken it ended turns out he had a twin brother that was identical lol anyway he had seen me on tinder we started hooking up obviously we found out there was a twin brother so we kept it a secret but he had he knew that she had been seeing the brother so she knew because they're identical but he the twin brother so about seven months later the other brother moved back and we started seeing each
Starting point is 00:34:39 other again it got serious we moved in together and at one point i was living with both of them the twins have this weird competitive relationship sometimes close but also sometimes weird tension we never spoke about our time together it's not like either one of us really did anything wrong but you can imagine that it is oh you did no you actually did sorry you did you didn't tell him you fucked his brother and then you moved in with him you did she said in case you're wondering yes the sex is also identical wow isn't that fascinating how would you respond if you go on just imagine you go on an online date you sit there you're chatting away and you're like oh i just wanted to let you know i've actually been i've been on a date with your brother before because i know that
Starting point is 00:35:20 because you're identical and i swipe right on you knowing that you were his brother like all of that how does that ever come out and it's received in a positive way well he was positive for this But how did he sit there on that date and be like, oh, it's really great to meet you. Thank you. You're fucking weird. Like, how did that not come about? I'm more curious from the twins perspective. Cause like the third person in the equation doesn't have much loyalty to begin with, but
Starting point is 00:35:42 the twin does. That's what I'm saying. Why didn't he respond with like, oh, okay. You've already been with my brother. Weird that you would swipe right on me. I'm going to go. Why would he be like, cool, interested? Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:53 I think there's something in that. I think there's something in. Competitive. Yeah. She said they're really competitive. So I reckon he wanted. a taste okay i've got one for you and this one's really kind of innocent but also could end badly i once threw away a peach seed in my sister's backyard not thinking about it not thinking
Starting point is 00:36:09 anything about it in fact until a few days later when her dog needed emergency bowel surgery for an obstruction anyway they found the obstruction it turns out it was a peach seed and she said so weird we don't even eat peaches she's like me neither i still to this day have not told her and it was a $4,000 vet bill. Oh, you actually should have probably paid. It's not your fault. It is. Everyone throws peach seeds in the garden.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Not if you have a dog. I would. I have a dog. Great. Don't let Laura come over to our house. My dad caught me having sex on the neighbor's front doorstep. Why? And that's really awkward.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Why were you having sex on the front doorstep? Yeah, they must have locked themselves out. Was it daylight? That's actually. Why? The house is right there. It's so close. Well, hey, stoop kid.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Why would you have sex on the stoop? I used to wipe my boogers underneath my car seat. Thought that was funny. That's standard. I reckon that's pretty standard. I mean, what? Harder? I mean, what?
Starting point is 00:37:07 As a kid. I mean, what? I fantasize about breastfeeding my husband for sexual pleasure. Just do it. What? Tell him. See what he says. I don't reckon he'd be into it.
Starting point is 00:37:17 She wants him to suckle. I don't reckon he'd do it. And take some milk. Pity. Has Matt actually suckled yours? Pity. Is that yours? Not from the soil.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Yeah, I wrote it in. No, it's like, and I have overhead footage of it. I have overhead drone footage. And I took a video of it. It's a minute long. And I accidentally sent it to Brittany. Oh, dear. Okay, I have a last one.
Starting point is 00:37:39 It's actually, this one's not that good, but I'll tell you anyway. I stole a piece of an unfinished puzzle from someone's house that I absolutely despise. I still have that piece. Why were you at their house? I don't know, like a frenemy. Oi, that is such a fuck you, isn't it? Well, speaking of frenemies, there was one that came in and said, I was friends with this girl and she just completely ghosted me
Starting point is 00:37:56 for an unknown reason. I'm talking blocked me on all socials, et cetera, and I'm still unsure to this day why. I was obviously butthurt by this and it really pissed me off that she gave me no reason. She recently started a new job so I sent her a box of horse shit to her new workplace as a fuck you. Where'd you get that from?
Starting point is 00:38:15 I wonder if you put the return address on. Get a grip. Get a grip. Why are we doing this? Why do you care so much so far down the track? I've had someone do that to me. Send horse shit to your wife. No, block me for no reason.
Starting point is 00:38:28 I'm still, it happened like seven years ago. How do you know they're blocking you? Because I went to message her. I thought we were friends and then I couldn't. And they blocked you and you had no reason. And her husband. That happened to Kisha the other day. So somebody, I will listen to this, ready?
Starting point is 00:38:43 Somebody that has been on this podcast before. I shared a story. I'm not going to say who. Oh, no, I'm back. I think that was a glitch. Because I can see the stories again. did you go someone's been on this podcast in the past six years like someone we interviewed yeah and i sent a story that was of interest to keisha and keisha's like oh there's nothing up there i
Starting point is 00:39:03 can't see anything and i was like it's definitely up there and she looked again she's like i don't see anything and i said she's got six stories up and i was like you're blocked she's blocked you from viewing her story that's so funny you might have been put on like did she just do it to best friends like friend list or i'll take why is britney on the close friends i'm not i don't know but I've got one more also why don't you send it to me because you don't respond okay my mum said no to me seeing a friend when I was a teenager and so I put nair in her conditioner hair removal hair removal in her conditioner okay well that flows into my last one hit me I have kids and I love them but I wouldn't do it again if I could have my time over because she's bald
Starting point is 00:39:42 from the nair that's grim you know I actually got a few of those and that feeds into my wild anxiety of where i'm at right now on like to kid or not to kid to kid or not to kid in the words of shakespeare is the question words of shakespeare yeah to kid or not to kid i got a few few love them wouldn't do it again maybe we need to do a poll who regrets having children you'll be anonymous you'll be enough we'll keep you anonymous go through every single person can we talk do you have time for five minutes slide in something we talked about a couple of months ago on Ask Uncut. We talked about whether or not you tell your romantic partner everything, right? Like when your friends tell you secrets, is it kind of just expected that if your friend
Starting point is 00:40:24 is in a long-term romantic relationship that they will tell their partner pretty much everything, you know? Or where is the limit? Where is the limit? We kind of unpacked it, but it's a tricky one because I would say I tell Matt most things. I don't tell Matt everything. Like I do think that if my friends have secrets that have nothing to do with me that are very deeply personal to them my first point of call wouldn't be to go and tell matt however shocked by that though i reckon you tell him like 99.9 i tell him 99.9 for sure but if you like you know if like you went through a personal tragedy i'm not just going to go and tell matt straight away do you know i mean if you were like don't tell matt this this has happened to me but what happens if they don't say it what happens
Starting point is 00:41:03 if it's implied well if it's just don't tell anyone yeah okay but if it's don't tell anyone as well it depends on the secret it depends on the secret oh fuck I'm a bad friend she's like she's playing it through her head now she's like I can never speak to Matt again I'm not saying this to you to make you feel bad I just do think that almost everything you would tell Matt well I do I do but there are absolutely secrets that my friends have told me that I do not tell him yeah and it's when it has nothing to do with me like I do believe that there are things that are said to me that like they're not my if I'm gonna go and tell him that's just gossip do you mean like they're sacred they're well yeah and like Keisha don't worry you've told me things that
Starting point is 00:41:42 I haven't told Matt also I forget a lot of stuff as well guys like the fact that people tell you not to tell anyone so no just the fact that I've been told it in the first place I get home and I forget no so I'm a great person to tell things to one thing sorry oh fuck this is not chatting into a roast Laura no it's not but talking about forgetting we had to sign an NDA Laura was like Laura was like gossiping between us about something. I was gossiping between an entire table of our work colleagues. And I was like, Laura, you need to stop doing that. We've signed an NDA.
Starting point is 00:42:10 She's like, you did. I didn't. And I was like, no, I watched you sign it. I was like, it doesn't count if you forget. I was like, Laura, I was with you there. And she was like, fuck, was that an NDA? She didn't even look. She's just like, fuck.
Starting point is 00:42:19 And I was like, that was an NDA. How I managed to run any successful businesses is truly beyond me. But anyway, that's not what we're talking about. I read an article recently. There was an article. It was in Vogue UK. and it was called, Please Stop Telling Your Partner My Secrets. And I felt personally victimized by the writer. Her name was Anna Ewins. Now, I just wanted to read you a little
Starting point is 00:42:37 bit of this extract. It says, when you tell a friend something vulnerable, are you actually telling the couple? Because somewhere along the way, we decided that when you're in a relationship, your partner gets access to everything, every conversation, every secret, every piece of emotional processing. But is that fair? When I spoke to another friend on the topic, she told me that she was routinely indiscreet, though she hadn't given it much thought. It's probably a byproduct of merging too much with my partner, she said. He can become a kind of emotional support blanket for processing all of my important conversations with friends. It feels nice to outsource that. I suspect that this is how a lot of people internally rationalize telling their
Starting point is 00:43:16 partners everything. What strikes me is how easily this arrangement has been adopted, as though intimacy with one person requires the sacrifice of another person's privacy now when I read this it made me question the conclusion that we came to on that ask on card and it made me I guess question and ask why is it that we seem to associate so much that our romantic partners are supposed to be the end stop of sharing everything with that it's almost like it is cementing the level of intimacy or it's cementing the level of importance of that relationship because you share every facet of your life with them but also when I read this I really had this moment where I was like in doing that you really are being a pretty shitty friend in the process
Starting point is 00:43:59 well I think it stems back to and I'll say it again the conclusion from that that I don't remember your exact conclusion Laura but I remember mine was more about I don't tell Ben everything like if somebody if I think something is deeply personal I won't tell him but I would always say expect people to like don't be shocked if you find out they did tell their partner because I think that expectation does lie deep but I think people are doing it not because sometimes some people might want to gossip yeah but at the end of the day it's a lot of weight for one person to hold a secret and people want to feel like they have offloaded something they're connecting with something and they don't bear that brunt anymore and I feel like it doesn't weigh as
Starting point is 00:44:38 heavily on someone when they share it and they that's what I think yeah the question is is what are you sharing it for are you sharing it for emotional feedback because you want to know how to better support that person or are you sharing it because it's a closed loop and if it's a closed loop then it just becomes gossip right if you're just sharing it to share the info the few categories that were written in this article were things that I think regardless of whether you share everything with your partner are things that should remain sacred and I reckon this is a rule that everyone can apply and it's a rule that I certainly do apply when I actually unpacked this with myself and I was like, okay, where does my barometer lie? Like what are the things that I do
Starting point is 00:45:14 or don't share with Matt? Things that I would not share with Matt that friends have told me are things like pregnancy scares, mental health diagnosis. The cheating situation one is subjective. I've shared some cheating information and not others. And the other one here, it says financial struggles. I've not been in a situation where my friends have shared with me deep financial struggles that they've been in because I think luckily for them, they've been okay so far. but those are kind of the main the main ones and I would say for me the big one that I really don't feel as though it's something that needs to be shared with romantic partners is a pregnancy scare like I've had no need to or no desire to share that information with him because
Starting point is 00:45:51 that's a secret that I think as a woman you can absolutely hold I'm just realizing that I keep every secret from my partner do you you don't tell me like I don't talk to him actually we You don't need to spend that much time together. I've just realized that if there was someone in my life that I would share secrets with, it's actually my best friend. It's not my partner. And I don't know. I'm trying to think of why that is.
Starting point is 00:46:13 But firstly, it's kind of like maybe it's not his business and maybe he would see a different side of that friend. But I actually just, I kind of wonder whether he would care that much. Blanket statement. I was going to say the same thing. Most men don't care. They don't care. And that's why they're so hard to get information from like when their friends are talking to
Starting point is 00:46:32 each other. So Ben will come home and he'll be saying, oh, such and such broke up with his partner. And I was like, why? I don't know. He's like, you didn't ask? You didn't ask what happened? Has he, has she moved out? He's like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:43 And I said, tell me how the conversation went. And he'll say, oh, I broke up with my missus. He'll be like, fuck, you're good? And he's like, yeah, I'm good. That's it. They don't care as much. And when you tell them something, it doesn't hit the same. And they don't want to do a deep dive at the same point.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Yeah, it's not as exciting, is it? But there was some research done that says like when you try to suppress a secret, it does make it come to mind more often. So like when you have not shared that, the intrusive thoughts are always there and it weighs on you more than once you've offloaded it. And it must just be something psychological where you're like, oh, okay, like I have given that information to somebody. I've freed it from my mind. So I imagine like a pinball in your mind, you know, like the pinballs that just like bounce around. like when you haven't let that out to somebody and I'm not saying this is why it's okay but this is just from this research article that I saw and I do think the same thing sometimes when someone
Starting point is 00:47:34 has told me something a friend and it's like it's important I do think about it a lot and sometimes for your own mental sanity I might want to discuss that with Ben to get his opinion and it also shows a level of care about that person so it might be like now that you know do you think I should do this for this person do you think I should be honest for this person And, like, I do think sometimes it can become a sounding board. But is that then a betrayal? Is that not a betrayal of the trust that the friend has given you in sharing with you something that is very intimate to them?
Starting point is 00:48:03 And I think that more so for me it was a question of why. Like, why am I telling Matt? What is the purpose? And it goes back to what I said earlier. Is it to kind of brainstorm what is the best way to support that person? Is that the reasoning behind it? I think we love gossip. Or is it because it's gossip?
Starting point is 00:48:18 And I actually think for most people when they're sharing stuff with their partners, it's not because they want an emotional sounding board or a debrief it's because it's it's gossip it's sharing it's trading secrets and trading secrets if you're talking about someone in any sort of negative light i'm not saying that all secrets are negative but there is like this instant bonding that happens as well it's part of the reason why as women we do gossip it creates and forms friendships it's not all negative in its of itself but the thing with doing that is like you've traded this relationship for that relationship and that's what i found really interesting about this article because i was like
Starting point is 00:48:51 in no way shape or form would I ever want to sacrifice something that's so special that I have with my friends just to try and deepen the relationship that I have with my husband I can do that without you know the other it does fall back on too that we expect even more trust loyalty and secrecy from our partners than our friends so the next level up is like hey I know I shouldn't be sharing this from my friend but obviously I trust you more than anything so I know it won't go further so there's an extra layer that we put on our partners because we do we expect so much more from our partners in that sense like a partner that tells a secret is more of a betrayal than a friend that has shared a secret but I do want to say this I did a poll for you guys and
Starting point is 00:49:31 had nearly 15,000 of you respond so this is a pretty good poll go into this being very aware every time you want to tell a friend a secret because 79% of you said that you will tell your partner everything even if your friend has said please don't tell anyone especially your partner so nearly 80 percent wow yeah have said that they will they tell their partner I wonder if there's like a bit of like codependency there like it's like we've attributed this sense of like a really strong relationship and like we've kind of like modeled this idea of a strong relationship with like complete and utter honesty but that complete and utter honesty also is is subjective to when we want to share things with our partners because like there's absolutely things about myself I
Starting point is 00:50:14 don't share with Matt like I haven't told him every single thing about me he doesn't know every bit of my personal being i'm sure i don't know every bit of his personal being ben doesn't want to know every bit of mine totally i want to do a reversal on this question though do you share with your friends everything that happens with your partner because a lot of people in their relationships have things that their partner would have said don't say this or maybe it's a given like maybe you've had a disagreement or argument about something that they don't want you to share with your friends is the reversal just as bad if you're someone who goes and takes a secret that happened in your relationship and shares it with your best friend is that equally as much of a
Starting point is 00:50:51 betrayal in the relationship people need to talk people he's just like oh I do that shit all the time he does that you've found where I'm in the wrong do you know what I mean I have one friend and the only thing that I would say is my only advice about sharing secrets is it's got to be mutually assured destruction okay you've got to know enough shit about them if they were to ever share your secrets, you could tear them down too. Is that me? Because if you've got another friend that you're telling more than you tell me, you're fucked. You tell me a lot.
Starting point is 00:51:20 It's not me. That's my point. That's my point. I tell you a lot, but I do have one best friend. We've been best friends since like the start of high school. And I trust her the most of any person I have ever met. She knows me too. But she knows like the dark sides of me too. It's, like I said, it's mutual.
Starting point is 00:51:36 It's a mutual thing. And I think I would be more in the wrong of telling my best friend my partner's secrets rather than telling my partner my friend's secrets that's what I mean and I think that maybe you might sit on your high and mighty horse of being like oh I would not tell my partner everything but maybe you're the person that does a reversal and and you know sometimes shares things about your partner that are not very glowing or kind or whatever it is but you need that therapy is expensive that's why people are writing to us on ask on con we all need it in
Starting point is 00:52:05 different ways but when I read this article I was like it's an interesting way of looking at it like what are you sacrificing when you trade a secret and where is that betrayal lying when you trade a secret in that way do you reckon matt's gonna be devo that he's not getting the tea anymore he loves a little gossip so he fucking loves a goss he loves all right guys it's time for suck and sweet our highlight and our low light of the week do you want me to go first yeah you can go first all right i don't really have a suck my suck and my sweet are gonna be merged into one so my suck of the week is that i'm fighting with my the russian neighbor upstairs you know the one that pours water on me mate she she yells at me all the time and like she lives directly upstairs
Starting point is 00:52:42 but I have a really big outdoor area and so her balcony only comes halfway out over my outdoor area which means like she can hose me down and she's just an older lady older Russian lady and she has a problem with everyone so I got into another fight with her the fight with her is over my suite so my suite is I borrowed Keisha's pressure washer and I pressure woosh I pressure woosh I pressure washed the shit out of my back veranda like the tiles I'm jealous of the high you would have gotten but I got so obsessed with it that the every millimeter so I probably was doing it too long and that's what she wanted to tell me she came out to tell me that I was cleaning too long and then she started to yell at me that this is a strata building you could get her from
Starting point is 00:53:28 down there I wanted to but you know what I did this is what I will say I pressure washed in crocs and um crocs have holes in them I didn't realize how much pressure comes out of it I bruised my foot this is gonna make me sound so dumb fuck the top of my crocs were really dirty so I pressure washed them while my foot was in it my foot was in it and I just put the I didn't know it was like dropping a brick on my foot anyway so that's yeah so anyway my suck was that I broke my foot but your feet have never been cleaner my feet are so clean do you have a before and after I did take a before and after but then I was I thought about posting it and I was like oh my view's already down Brittany's gonna post
Starting point is 00:54:09 photos of her feet after this before and after pressure washing so the pressure was great but she had a real problem with me cleaning and she's like it's Sunday I'm at home and I said I'm aware it's Sunday but you're home every day but she's also she's home every day so I was like it doesn't matter what day i did it anyway no one cares anymore but that was my suck and my sweet how's your fridge though great cold frozen what's your second okay i actually don't really have a suck for the week i've kind of talked about already it would be the fridge and also poppy not sleeping they are my only sucks do you have a child that doesn't sleep i have a child she doesn't sleep and you break the fridge put her in the fridge no take that out it wouldn't matter it's not cold
Starting point is 00:54:46 she can sit in there it's cozy it'd just be dark what's your sweet and my sweet for the week is that on saturday i have been finding going to the beach really overwhelming with three kids like it's not an enjoyable thing to do a lot of obstacles a lot of danger well especially where we live like going down to bondi beach with two children who can run out into the waves and then another one where i'm stuck under the fucking kookabana with like it's just all i do is live in anxiety that someone's gonna drown so it's not enjoyable we're not doing it anymore at all like We've not been to Bondi since Poppy's been born except for once and I had a full mental episode at Matt.
Starting point is 00:55:21 So we've been on a beach hunt trying to find like good beaches around Sydney that we can go to where we don't feel as though it's as stressful. Not as packed, not as big waves. Yeah, and we went to – actually, I'm not going to say it. I'm not giving it away. We went to a bay. We went to a really great location that we found
Starting point is 00:55:37 and it was fucking awesome and we had a great time. You know you are giving it away. You've posted about it a lot and it's very – like you can take – Oh, where you are. I've got a spot that I want you to go to. Tell me off, Mike, because I need to keep it secret. No, no, this needs to be public. There was a dog beach called Cuddy Beach and it's this beautiful little beach.
Starting point is 00:55:54 I know, it's so lovely. And the residents, 27 of them, apparently complained that they didn't want the dogs to be able to be there anymore. The council made it no more dogs. And I was speaking to a guy who was taking a petition around and he said, you know what, I think the residents might get a bit of a taste of their own medicine. If dogs aren't allowed there, people with their kids are going to start to go. So I want that whole beach covered in cool cabanas just to do a bit
Starting point is 00:56:18 of a fuck you to the residents. Oh, my God. I'll go. I'll take the kids there next weekend. Let's go. Cutty Beach. It was one of the only places. You can't say the beach name because it's fucking hundreds
Starting point is 00:56:27 of thousands of kids. Do you know what? Let's do it. Let's go. Everyone bring your kids to Cutty Beach this weekend so we can get the dogs back. But then you can never go. You'll never get a spot again.
Starting point is 00:56:36 None of you bitches. We can't show you more. It doesn't matter. You can't take your dog there. Well, you can't go now because you're just told hundreds of thousands of people. Everyone, we're going to all meet at Cuddy Beach next weekend, Saturday. See you there. Life Uncut meetup.
Starting point is 00:56:46 We're going to have a Life Uncut meetup at Cuddy Beach. That's going to be fun. Let's do it. Let's take the dogs anyway. I'm on the gold card. Fuck the po-po's. We'll get it fine. All right.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Well, that's it from us, guys. You know the drill. Tell your mum, tell your dad, tell your dog, tell your friends to share the love because we love love. We love love. Cuddy Beach on Saturday. We like to. We should do it on our own.
Starting point is 00:57:06 We love you. Thank you for watching.
