Starting point is 00:00:00 A Life Uncut podcast acknowledges the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. This episode is recorded on Gadigal land of the Aurora Nation. Hi guys, and welcome back to another episode of Life Uncut. I'm Laura. And I'm Brittany.
Starting point is 00:00:44 And this is our Saturday morning radio show. It is Life Uncut Radio packaged up for you in a sweet little morsel so that if you didn't listen live, which you should have, you bloody scallywag, you can listen to it here. It's all the good juicy stuff. We have a really great episode today. We spoke to Anna Heinrich. Anna, you might know her from The Bachelor originally. She was like an original gangster there.
Starting point is 00:01:04 She was the very first. Anna Heinrich was on the very first season of The Bachelor. Yep, she got the happy ever after. She got married to Tim Robards. She's got a little baby, but you also might know her now because she's on your screens for SAS, and she is Laura. Oh, my God. I know you've missed a few episodes, but she has been an absolute boss.
Starting point is 00:01:23 It's incredible. Watching her is so impressive. She makes me feel bad about myself. When I see her do all these crazy things, I'm like, I haven't made it to the gym in over seven months. I'm sitting there eating like my fettuccine carbonara while she's grueling it out on the screen. I'm like, maybe I should put this down and go for a run.
Starting point is 00:01:38 But I haven't done that yet. I haven't done it. Step away. Don't be ridiculous. No, but you know what? We also talked about a few other things on the radio show today. I wanted to talk about something that Cameron Diaz has decided to stop doing. And it's something that I very much can get behind.
Starting point is 00:01:49 Yep. And also Pete Davidson's gone to space. So there you go. As you do. Kanye's pretty happy about it. But that is it for the radio show, guys. Enjoy, listen, and next week we expect you to listen to it live. Put it that way.
Starting point is 00:02:00 After the Life Uncut radio show. With Britt Hockley and Laura Byrne. We love them! One kiss. I feel a bit uncomfortable talking about this story because it gives me the shivers. But a poor man has been bitten on his parts. On his who-ha.
Starting point is 00:02:12 On his who-who-dilly. Wow. Let's go with eggplant. Yeah. Okay, this is possibly the most lowbrow piece of news that you're going to read this week. But there is a man in Ireland who woke up. Ireland.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Ireland. In Ireland. He woke up and there was something going on downstairs. Didn't know what it was. Left it a couple of days. Ended up in hospital. And it turns out that he had been bitten downstairs by a black widow spider. Hang on.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Yeah, look, it escalated very quickly. It did. I didn't actually know Ireland actually had those spiders. I think that that's not the point of the story. I feel like you're really missing the take home core message. My science brain has just gone, hang on. I didn't think they exist over there. Firstly, out of your whole body surface,
Starting point is 00:02:56 what are the odds that you are going to get bitten on your downstairs nether regions? Well, I would assume that he was sleeping naked on top of the doona as well. Are you a naked sleeper? I'm a naked sleeper. Maybe it's like warm and like, you know, a bit... Moisture.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Yeah, I was trying to think of the right word. It's like a spider's nest. Can you say moist on breakfast? You can say right away. Oh my God, what if it was living in his pubic hair? What if he thought it was like a spider web? But anyway, it got even worse than that, guys. Are there photos?
Starting point is 00:03:22 Do you have photos? Yeah, look, he got to the hospital and he arrived. And by the time he arrived, the bite, the cyst that had grown had exploded. So not only had he had this horrible bite, but he has this big gaping hole. Oh, my God. So what happens now? Does he lose his eggplant? No, I don't think he loses it.
Starting point is 00:03:39 But, like, what do you do? How do you explain that? You're going to have a huge hole. Like, that's going to leave some damage. That's going to be a long-term problem. It's going to have multiple holes in there. Maybe it's going to have some functionality problems as well. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Maybe he might attract. Maybe he's coming out left, right and center. Oh, God. What, weren't we all thinking it? Like a fountain. Anyway. Well, it might be a new party trick. You never know.
Starting point is 00:03:57 It might be good for him. But we want to know, 131065, what happened to your bits? It might have a better story than this poor Irishman with a new hole. Well, let's see what Maddie has to say about it on 131065. Maddie, what happened to your bits? You're on the air. Okay, then. So this, granted, was not me.
Starting point is 00:04:13 It was my housemate. Of course it was. It was a friend of a friend of a friend's dog. So I was sitting in the bedroom at night and came out to my housemate screaming and what had happened was he was putting a lasagna into a preheated oven naked for some reason. The naked chef? I don't know why he was naked.
Starting point is 00:04:36 He's a housemate where there's nothing going on there. And he leant forward to put the lasagna in the oven, closed the door on his housemate. Wow. A hot oven door. Hang on. How big is his eggplant? Brittany is asking for research purposes.
Starting point is 00:04:54 For it to have swung up, what, like swung up in the wind into the door? How does that happen? How did it come down and enclose the door? Laura, you do the math on the distance there. That's an impressive injury. It could have been a free circumcision too. You might be thinking of it. All I'm thinking about in this story is how much I feel like a lasagna tonight.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Oh, no. Don't say that. Thank you, Maddie. Let's go to Claire on 131065. Hello, Claire. What happened to your bits? Hello. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:05:21 So I was at the gym in a PT session, and my PT Casey had demonstrated the move, which is a deep sumo squat, and then you pull up the kettlebell as you ascend. So I was really focusing, right? I forgot about the part where your legs need to kind of move up before the kettlebell. So I went into like a nice deep squat, clenched those butts and pulled up, pulled up 20kg kettlebell straight into my noo-noo like smack on the vagina bone.
Starting point is 00:05:49 I know exactly the manoeuvre you're talking about. And so I froze and I just stared at her with pleading eyes because all I wanted to do was like drop this weight and like rub the thing that hurt right and she goes oh my god and she starts laughing and she goes you may put the weight down and I was like put the weight down
Starting point is 00:06:05 and then we just pissed ourselves laughing. Oh no. It's nothing like being in a class. Sorry not for a week. Yeah, there is no sexy time for a week. Oh, I'm trying to rub it better at the same time. It just gets worse and worse. I love that she called it Noo Noo.
Starting point is 00:06:18 That's the best thing ever. All right, Hayley on 131065, wrap this up for us. Ladies, let's all say it together. Ready? Hayley, what happened to your bits? So this goes back a couple of years ago now. I was helping clean out the yard with my parents at my parents' house. And, you know, there was like heaps of bushes and trees.
Starting point is 00:06:38 And when I hopped in the shower that evening, I discovered that I had a tick in my labia. Inside? Like inside. Was this nude gardening? Are you like the nude chef? That sneaky little tick? Definitely not nude gardening. And to make it even worse, I had to go to the doctors to get it removed.
Starting point is 00:07:04 They do say you should check behind your ears and inside folds. It's advised to live by it. Wow. That's awful. All right, we're back after this with Anna Heinrich. I'm glad we're going from this to the most regal woman on Australian television. All new in 22.
Starting point is 00:07:22 For your Saturday morning, the last uncut radio show with Britt Hockley and Laura Byrne. On Kiss. Hey, ladies, I'm very excited for this. Are you guys watching SES Australia? I am living for it. I'm also excited for this because I love the woman that we are speaking to today.
Starting point is 00:07:36 We have Anna Heinrich on the phone. Welcome, Anna. There she is, the woman of the moment. Oh, it's going to be a lot of loud voices on this, I feel. I am just so obsessed with you on this show. You are absolutely such a boss. You are killing it. You are whipping everyone's butt.
Starting point is 00:07:54 You are proving you are doing it all for the women. What on earth made you go on this show? Honestly, I did not want to go on it. And I've seen the past episodes, the past seasons, and I was like there's absolutely no way in hell I'm going on this show because it was just too tough and I was like it's so far out of my comfort zone and I knew that so half the people that go on are athletes or ex-Olympians uh and I was like there's absolutely no way I could compete with that and it was at four weeks out and I got a call from the SAS
Starting point is 00:08:26 people and they said hey do you want to come on this show and I was like nah no way absolutely not and then my husband was like no let's just talk about it I'm like really like honestly like I'm so weak, like how the hell would I be able to do this? And then I ended up saying yes and I had four weeks to train and I literally, even the day before I agreed to do it, I was running in the rain in case I was going to say yes. But all I was doing is walks with my little girl. That doesn't cut it.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Like, I've literally got to do like a 360 and become an Olympian in four weeks. So going into this, I knew there were going to be a lot of athletes and Olympians that I was like one thing I do have is I've been on a reality show before so I kind of get that aspect of it but this show by far is harder like physically mentally absolutely all of it and you just can't prepare for any of it either like it's all out of your control you've got to like let it all go and just give everything a go do you wear makeup or take makeup and stuff into S.A.S. because you always look flawless and I'm like has she smuggled something in there No, you know, like all we had was a toothbrush and toothpaste that they gave us
Starting point is 00:09:37 and that was literally it. Like you could not bring anything on and it's kind of like the jungle as well. Like you can't bring any of that stuff in. Maybe some people did, but like nothing. Anna, you have had so much going on in your life at the moment. You've also just launched a business. How are you juggling everything? And hanging from a helicopter.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Yes, how do you do it all? You make it look so easy and I know it's not. It's certainly not in these days. I just like I want to scream and it's really difficult trying to juggle and especially those moments where you can't prepare. Like this is my first business ever and like I literally I'm not an entrepreneur. Like I don't have an entrepreneurial bone in my body. I literally came from law which is very structured.
Starting point is 00:10:19 So I'm just learning the ropes now and it's definitely difficult but I'm getting there and I've got a really good business partner so she's kind of showing me the way but I'm exhausted most of the time. Anna, you're doing such a good job of juggling it all. Congratulations on Inti Wellness. Congratulations on SAS. You're an absolute boss to watch. Right now, we are playing a show of favourites.
Starting point is 00:10:40 I can't watch! Headlines. Yep, so Anna Heinrich is here from SAS Australia. You can watch her Monday and Tuesday nights, Channel 7, 7.30. But right now, Anna, we've got some headlines that have been written about you. Some are real, some are fake.
Starting point is 00:10:54 The girls are going to throw them out. You need to debunk them, okay? All right. Tim Robards reveals unconventional way he and wife Anna Heinrich decide who is washing the dishes. Is that real or fake? I was like, I'm trying to remember what the hell Tim says. So I'm going to say.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Man, it's a liability. That's probably something he did say, but, like, I don't know what it would be. I always try and get him to. Oh, no, I do know. I do. It's true. I think it's whoever cooks dinner does the washing.
Starting point is 00:11:22 That's not weird, though, is it? That's not nice. Oh, Tim, come on. That's just divide and conquer. That's what I think every household should do. Otherwise, it all falls on you, and that's not fair. Sorry, that was really boring. Next.
Starting point is 00:11:35 I'm glad we got to the bottom of it, though. All right. Anna Heinrich, in litigation to sue her own mother over origin of apple pie recipe featured in cookbook collaboration. Yeah, that's not true. Could you imagine? Are you suing your mum? I hope not.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Not that I know. So there is some incredible recipes in that cookbook, that's for sure. All right, last question, Anna. I mean, last headline, Anna. Anna Heinrich reveals why she gave up her lucrative career as a criminal lawyer and admits feeling ashamed to leave a job that gave her credibility. Okay, that is true.
Starting point is 00:12:11 However, it wasn't lucrative. Sorry. It was credible, but it paid me nothing, and that's why I gave it up. Yes, exactly. Why do you feel ashamed to leave that? I think my whole life like I feel like part of me why I did law was because I could show people I could do it and even recently I only stopped this year and I was picking up my clothes from the dry cleaners and the lady I was talking she's like oh you're a lawyer right and I'm like yeah actually
Starting point is 00:12:38 I've just stopped practicing and she was really upset she's like really like she's really sad I was like no no I'm really happy I'm not doing it like I'm doing stuff I love now but I feel like there's this expectation if you do do law like you can never leave and everything else that you do isn't going to be as good as it and it's just not true so I like I felt like I've just been holding on to it so I can say oh I'm still a lawyer so like I'm still like you can give me a little bit of credit so it's actually been really hard to get rid of it I haven't really wanted to do it for like however many years past five years but I was just too afraid to leave well Anna thank you so much for coming and being a part of
Starting point is 00:13:17 the radio show this morning. We have absolutely loved seeing you at SAS. We hope that you make it to the very, very end. I can't wait to see what happens. I'm living for it. You are the boss and we've just loved it so much. We'll chat to you soon, Anna. Okay, thanks girls. This is the Life Uncut Radio
Starting point is 00:13:33 Show. Britt Hockley and Laura Byrne on Kiss. Anna, Cameron Diaz is in the news and I kind of love this story. I love Cameron Diaz and I feel like we don't hear from her much anymore. She's just had a real life change. She's become a mum. She has removed herself from the spotlight she's not been doing any acting roles and i think she's just focusing on a very different part of her life now good for her but she did do an interview recently
Starting point is 00:13:53 and i was very much behind this she interviewed with rupaul's drag race star michelle visage love michelle and she said on this interview when asked about her beauty habits and what she does she doesn't wash her face anymore she has decided that she doesn't care enough to continue washing her face this is what she actually said i literally do nothing i like never wash my face anymore maybe twice a month if i'm lucky and then she went on to say i'm just not in that place right now like where i put my energy is not into washing my face girlfriend i hear you i think it's a i actually think like the emphasis on that cameron diaz actually doesn't do anything anymore she's like sometimes i don't want to get she doesn't even get out of bed no i also feel this
Starting point is 00:14:34 energy sometimes i just you know i'm not in a place in my life where i want to wear deodorant well you didn't last week remember she often doesn't i did today everyone because you all complained funny that we're in a very enclosed room here laura and it gets pretty steamy in here okay i have a question for you brit how often do you wash your bra because i think this is controversial it depends it depends are we talking a sports bra just like your everyday t-shirt bra whatever you're wearing right now how often would you actually wash it look if it's my little lacy sexy ones not very often because they get worn like once a year if it's my everyday special occasion they're definitely getting washed my every if it's like my my everyday t-shirt bra
Starting point is 00:15:12 probably not as often as i should maybe like once a week so apparently there's been some research that's been done and there is there's a vast spanning uh difference between when women will wash their bras it's supposed to be after every two wears but most women don't wash their bra until once a month once a month i'm aware i'm pretty known to like not wear a bra so you're asking the wrong person i didn't even know as a guy that you had to wash your bra i didn't think you'd have to but if you think about it it's it's the closest thing it's the closest thing to your body so it's gonna get like sweaty and gross it's gonna get the moisturizers and the oils and all that stuff on it and like probably some other stuff if you're lucky i mean on the flip side
Starting point is 00:15:49 to this we get told to put our jeans in the freezer so why don't you just put your bra in the freezer i have never done that in my life if you've got like really dark colored jeans instead of washing them and the colour comes out, you pop them in the freezer. No, I've never heard that. Never. No. Okay, well, you've never bought a pair of Stuby jeans then
Starting point is 00:16:05 because that comes on the label. I'm wearing them right now. It says you pop them in the freezer. I'm not alone on this. It definitely doesn't get rid of the smell, but it does stop them from, you know, from the colour coming out. I could have asked, are you all going to take on the Cameron Diaz mantra of life and just stop giving a shit?
Starting point is 00:16:19 Yeah, I think you get to a certain point after you've had a few kids and you just stop caring. You know what? Okay, I think she took it to the next level. Cameron Diaz has taken the not caring to the next level. because she has also said she doesn't care enough that she has said no, since deciding to quit Hollywood, she has said no to $100 million worth of movie offers.
Starting point is 00:16:40 And she can't even be bothered to wash her face. Mate, come at me. I will wash every part of my body. Oh, that's goals. All new in 22. Britt Hockley and Laura Byrne getting saucy for your Saturday morning. The Life Uncut radio show on KISS. Are you guys watching Inventing Anna on Netflix?
Starting point is 00:16:58 It's huge at the moment. Inventing Anna. Oh, sorry, Anna. Inventing Anna. I am obsessed. I binge-watched Inventing Anna in about, oh, probably only one day. I haven't seen it yet. Oh, mate.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I'm the only one. So binge-watched Tinder Swindler. Then it seems like a week later, Inventing Anna came out. It's another, it's a scamming story. Then we've got the podcast that's trending at the moment, Elizabeth Holmes, The Dropout. We've had things like Sweet Bobby's, another podcast. It was about catfishing. Oh, yeah, there's a lot of scammer type documentary series
Starting point is 00:17:29 and podcasts and stories. I think it's become quite the trend at the moment. Oh, I'm sick for it. I am sick for it. No, but we wanted to know why, so we thought we would dive deep. We've got someone on the phone. We've got a psychologist. We've got Sandy Ray on the line.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Sandy, why am I a sicko? Many reasons. We all have our own vulnerabilities, don't we? Yes. Sandy, in all honesty, why are we so obsessed? Because all of these documentaries and podcasts, they all go to number one. Why are we so obsessed with true crime and scammers?
Starting point is 00:17:58 I think there's a couple of reasons. I think one of them, first of all, is that we get to really sit in the comfort of our own home. We get an insight into a psyche of people that we otherwise wouldn't have available to us unless you're a forensic psych or, you know, a psychiatrist in a prison or something like that. So this gives us this opportunity to be secure and safe
Starting point is 00:18:17 but actually look into a world that we otherwise wouldn't have access to. And I think the other thing is that, you know, all of us sit with a certain vulnerability or trustworthiness and when that gets exploited and then exposed we are watching what unfolds to these people so you know could we rob a bank could we commit some sort of scam and then when they get exposed and then our vulnerability is exposed i think there's a certain real pleasure of i dare even say revenge that these people are now getting caught out so i think there's a double pleasure a into the psyche of the person
Starting point is 00:18:54 and then watching their exposure i mean why do people behave in this way i mean as a psychologist i'm constantly fascinated by that you think everyone's so into the voyeurism around like we want to watch we get a little bit of like an insight into a world like you said that we can't access but what do you think on the flip side to that drive someone to want to scam a whole bunch of people well i mean as a psychologist i would think there's a whole raft of issues in terms of personality disorders, upbringing, you know, and I think there's a thing, and probably all of us have been exposed to this,
Starting point is 00:19:24 and I'm using it because it's just a Sandy Ray thing, called emotional scammers, people who take us for a ride. I think I've dated a few of those. Welcome to my biography. I think all of us have been emotionally scammed at some time, but I think it's a really true thing. And what makes us vulnerable, you know, so we're looking at, well, what is their upbringing?
Starting point is 00:19:44 What is their development? What has been the motivations for them? Why do they think they're entitled? Why do they have this predatory behavior? Because, in fact, an emotional scammer, whether it's in the form of, you know, someone like Inventing Anna, whether it's Erica Jana, whether it's catfishing, whether it's on the Tinder swimmer, they're all emotional scammers. What is their motivation? Is it predatory? Is it intimidating?
Starting point is 00:20:06 Is it the lure of power over somebody else? Control, all of that. And they've got a certain style that they've gone, I can do this. Do you think, Sandy, that this is glorifying it then? Do you think that this is glorifying behaviour? We look at it and we're like, oh, maybe I could get away with doing that. 100%. Why do you think I asked for your credit card? I've been asking everyone all over the office.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Is it glorifying or is it really just exposing? And I think, you know, when you expose something, are you actually glorifying or are you bringing it down a pick? I mean, the Tinder swindler, I think that was glorifying. He's famous off the back of it. That is true, but is it also teaching women what to look out for And, you know, one would argue he's very much fit in the profile of Predator. But you know what?
Starting point is 00:20:50 Note to self, watch and learn what their style is. Everyone's allowed to be an idiot once, but don't be an idiot twice. And it also makes for great entertainment, doesn't it? Well, doesn't it? Sandy, thank you so much for joining us. I think we're all still sick for it and we will still continue to watch, especially Britt. Of course we will. I love it.
Starting point is 00:21:10 We'll connect you with Britt off the air. You guys have a lot to go through, actually. We do. You need a one-on-one. Ask Uncut is, it is our Thursday episode of the podcast. And what it is, is you guys write in your deep, dark, burning, questionable questions. And we do our absolute best to answer them for you. I have actually probably one of the hardest questions today that I think has ever come in.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Wow. We've had hundreds of questions. That's a very big call. This is difficult. You tell me what you think. Hi, ladies. Would love some advice. my best friend's son is an absolute horror i am talking an awful child for some context i have a
Starting point is 00:21:48 son a year younger and a daughter three years younger than her son he has hit kicked punched screamed and also bit both of my kids on multiple occasions i really struggle because she isn't much of a disciplinarian and seems to laugh off a lot of his really bad behavior she says things like oh he's just being a boy he'll grow out of it but i really don't agree it's my son's 10th birthday next month and I want to have a party for him but I don't know whether or not I should invite them because of this awful boy oh that's I feel so sorry for this I mean I feel sorry for everyone but I feel sorry for the kid who's gonna get left out of things because his parents aren't able to discipline him so you feel sorry for the biter well I because I don't think there's such a thing
Starting point is 00:22:31 as a bad kid at that age at a 10 year old I think that there's kids who aren't don't know how to express themselves or maybe they've gotten away with something but I don't actually think that there are bad kids at 10 years. No, but I do think in this instance, like pulling your friend aside and having a bit of a heart to heart, not doing it in the moment when he's done something, not doing it when it's reactional, but sitting down over a cup of coffee and saying, you know, like it makes me really upset when he does these things to my kids. Are you able to intervene a bit more is probably the only way to address this. And I think do that before just not inviting them to the party. I think you can 100% say something in this situation. I mean, somebody, if somebody was
Starting point is 00:23:09 physically hurting my child, of course I would say something. I think that if she, if it's in the moment and she's laughing it off and this little boy is biting, hitting or kicking your child, I think you can rouse on the child. You're not going to physically discipline them, but if she's not going to, you can definitely go up and say, hey, don't you bite my kid. That's not cool. I think you can verbally discipline the child, especially if she's not, then you need to go and have a conversation and say, look, this isn't really normal behavior for a child, especially of that age, I think you need to look into what's going on or maybe you need to have a sit down with him.
Starting point is 00:23:42 I think that's a big one, right? Like it's not like the kid's three. The kid's not two or four or whatever. The kid's 10 years old. You know, they know the difference between kicking or hitting or biting. And at that age, like you can cause some serious damage at that age as well. I think it's such a grey area though.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Like a lot of people don't feel comfortable with disciplining other people's children and a lot of people don't feel comfortable with other people saying things to their kids either. So I think it's way better to have that conversation between the parents, not at the kids. Honestly, I don't care what they think. I honestly don't care. Brynn, who has no kids, is like, I will discipline your child.
Starting point is 00:24:16 No, I don't care if she's offended or not. If a kid's biting my kid, I'm sorry, I'm going to go and take the kid off my kid. You'll bite them back. 100% I am biting that kid back. Eye for an eye, a bite for a bite. Yeah, maybe it'll teach him a lesson. Good advice to live by.
Starting point is 00:24:28 If you want to get in touch and get some advice from the girls, give us a sub. And Brynn is here to bite your kid. Bite you back. Live Uncut Podcast. Send us a DM. The Live Uncut Radio Show. Huckley and Laura Byrne.
Starting point is 00:24:37 We love them! Monkeys. Ladies, have you heard the news about Pete Davidson? Well, look, I think this is really funny. I want to ask you a question straight off the bat. What do you do when you're stressed, when you're feeling you've had really stressful days, a lot going on in your life?
Starting point is 00:24:50 What does this have to do with Pete Davidson? I was just about to say, yeah. What do you do to relax? I have a glass of wine and I eat some chocolate and I make sure my kids are in bed by 6pm. I'll go for a nice long drive, listen to a podcast. Yeah, well, Pete Davidson's in a stressful situation at the moment. and he's decided to go to space.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Well, that's a good way to run away from your problems. Why is he going to space? So Pete Davidson, I know it. Sorry, it's the only space music I could find, everyone. What is this? This is space music. This is the X-Files. He's not going to meet an alien.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Where do aliens live? Where do they live? In space. Thank you. We assume. I see what you've done there. So Pete Davidson, obviously there's a lot going on in this poor guy's life. He's dating Kim Kardashian.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Kanye West has just been at him. So he has decided to go to space. Now, I don't know. So Jeff Bezos has a rocket ship called Blue Origin. He's gone to space once or twice. He has. Now he takes a few people at a time. I've always been so curious about this because, I mean,
Starting point is 00:25:44 obviously I know that Buzz Lightyear. Wow, that's your knowledge of space. Buzz Lightyear. Do you mean? I know that. Aldrin. Yes, yes, whatever his name is, he's been to space. But, like, I don't know what you can do to space.
Starting point is 00:25:58 This is the best thing I've ever had. All I do is watch kids' shows. guys. I mean, I know Buzz Lightyear has been to space before. I wonder if Pete will see Buzz Lightyear. I am diseased. What I hear is I didn't know that they just sent trips all the time. Well, it is.
Starting point is 00:26:17 It's turned into a bit of a tourist thing. It's a billionaire thing. You've got to have a lot of money. It's a billionaire thing. No wonder I didn't know. But why is Pete going? Why is Pete going? Just for fun, I think. I mean, I think he's going to escape. I don't know if Kanye West, as a billionaire, has like low-key funded this trip in hopes that something goes wrong.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Oh, he's going to set it up to kill Pete. Just to get rid of him. That's a good way of getting somebody not only out of the country away from your missus, but out of the entire stratosphere. I mean, you've got to be a billionaire and it's got to be someone you hate. So I reckon he'd send him up. I don't think I would go. If somebody wanted to send me to outer space, I don't think I would say yes to the opportunity.
Starting point is 00:26:50 I would be petrified. And I'm a yes person. I'm a yes to opportunities. But going to space. Okay, who would you send to space? If you could send anyone. If you were Kanye West. Like an enemy.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Like an enemy. Who would you send up? Yeah, not for funsies. It's like, I'm going to, this is going to get lost in orbit. I reckon Putin is a pretty good passenger. He probably owns the rocket. I reckon there's a few people in the world who would like to see the end of him. I have one more question for you guys.
Starting point is 00:27:15 Very, very interesting. I want, this is a little hot quiz that I'm springing. Look at Eddie Maguire. She's suddenly turned into Hot Seat. I love this. It's Hot Seat. It's Hot Seat with Brittany Hockley. How long do you think this trip or a trip to space in this rocket takes?
Starting point is 00:27:28 There and back. I'm going to give you three options. Okay. Do you think a trip to space, return, return flight. A return ticket. You'd hope so. Takes, yeah. We want a one-way ticket to Jupiter.
Starting point is 00:27:39 And you wait for them to go on discount to come back. Does it take? Is there a space scanner? A sky scanner? Oh, my God, Buzz Lightyear. Does it take 15 minutes, 8 hours, 30 minutes, or 3 days and 4 hours? To do a return trip. Okay, you're not going to the moon.
Starting point is 00:27:57 You're just going on to the other side. You're going just to the other side. Okay, I'm going to say eight hours. Is there a stop, revive, survive? Do you stop off in the middle? You don't stop for coffee? You don't stop for coffee, no. Three days, that's what I'm thinking.
Starting point is 00:28:08 Three days and you've got eight hours. Yeah. Mind blown. You can go to space and back in 15 minutes. Whoa. That is an incredible waste of your money. Yes. I couldn't agree more.
Starting point is 00:28:18 But if you are trying to get rid of an enemy, it could prove to be really beneficial. For 15 minutes. Bye, Putin. Thinking of you, Pete. All right, well, that's us done for the day. If you want more of the Ladies' Life Uncut radio show, what's on the show?
Starting point is 00:28:29 It's Tuesday, yeah? Tuesday episode. We drop an episode every Tuesday, every Thursday. Our next episode is something that I think everybody can relate to at the moment. We are talking about the overwhelm, which I think with what's happening on the news, with just like how much high anxiety there is in the world, the overwhelm is a very topical thing to be unpacking. Yeah, and I feel like every second person you speak to, everyone feels it. Everyone says they're exhausted. They're so stressed. They're run down. Flatlining. Everyone is flatline. Everyone feels overwhelmed. We've all been there at some stage.
Starting point is 00:28:59 So it's going to be a really great episode to knuckle on into. Great. All right, that's on Tuesday on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts. And we'd love doing another Saturday with you, Mitch Shurey. Thank you. It's our favourite day of the week. A pleasure, ladies.
Starting point is 00:29:09 And don't forget to tell your mum, tell your dad, tell your dog, tell your friends and share the love because... We love love! We do too.
