Hi guys and welcome back to another episode of Life Uncut. I'm Laura. I'm Brittany and
this is Off Cuts, your little weekend snack, the bits that made it on the party room floor,
the stuff that couldn't quite make the main episode that Laura and I have been talking
about all week. Although we need to stop calling this not the main episode because like all
episodes are main. Listen to them all. There is no main episode. No, there is a main episode,
but it's just more in our mind. Like our main episode was always the longer form content that
was a bit more nuanced or we break it down or we catch up on our life stuff. Like in my mind or
our minds, that's the main ep. And then there's the Ask Uncut, which are the questions and Off
Cuts is the weekends. And then there's the drags. Welcome to the drags. Yeah, Off Cuts is the side
chick. Exactly. It's like the side piece. You didn't know you needed. Do you know what? I've
had something happen to me in the last couple of days so I've tried to get back into exercise
recently post baby number three you're looking great laws it's not true it's not true it's not
consistent but I'm trying and on the weekend I went for like a really aggressive walk like I
went for like a and when I say really aggressive like I power walked only did like maybe eight and
a half kilometers but it was only sorry no but I mean if you're a power walker and you go for big
walks eight kilometers doesn't sound like that far eight kilometers is so far people don't just
go out for an eight kilometer walk I've got two Australian shepherds that I have to walk
twice a day and I wouldn't even clock eight k's I used to do long walks all the time and this has
been like my first long walk no need to brag I was a long walker everybody no but I used to and
this is the first time I've done it post baby number three and I woke up this morning I love
The first one, you're like, 8Ks.
Yeah, don't ease into it.
I will do it all.
She's like, I did a half marathon.
I actually think my vagina is broken in half.
Like, I've never had pain straight through my vagina.
Like, the pelvis bones.
What muscles do you dance when you walk?
I don't know what I was walking with.
What were you thinking about?
But, like, okay, people need to talk about the weird pains you have
when you try and get back into exercise post having babies.
Because, like, things stretch.
Like, your whole bones and everything.
like your bones don't break but everything moves apart to allow the baby to come out right so like
your pelvic bone which is kind of stretches open and it was the first time that i've done like any
sort of strenuous activity and today and the flaps are just one two one two and i've got
no i don't flaps are fine thanks for checking it's the pelvis i don't know what's wrong with
me guys what's it called there's like this um relaxin too much relaxin you were not doing
to relax and on an 8k wall. When was the last time you went for an eight kilometer wall?
Well, this is something I didn't think I was going to say on the podcast ever. Bear with me. Now,
this is a visual. Sorry for everyone listening. You're just going to have to really embrace
the response I'm about to get from Keisha and Laura, and you might have to go watch it on
YouTube. I'm going to show you my biceps guys. I'm going to flex because I've been working out.
I have been lifting weights and doing pull-ups and Laura, while you brought up the fitness chat,
have a look ready that's so impressive really really impressive way to fucking one up me
great great content here i am like getting back into exercise after baby number three and britney's
like here i've got abs in my forehead look at them i'll go fuck myself okay well you need to
obviously because you're gonna aggressively sore vagina can i tell you about the one time in my
entire life that i ever did a half marathon and this is going to sound like a brag at first and
you will come to realize it was absolutely not a humble brag this is not a humble brag a modest
I was not fit to run a half marathon but I kind of had that mentality of like uh what's 21 and a
half k's it'll be fine you get there and the environment will power you along so I was dating
this guy would only be dating for like maybe three weeks it was very fresh and I was living in
Bendigo at the time and he lived in Melbourne which is a two-hour drive so I'd driven down
and uh we'd been out for this like date the night before and we'd been having lots of cocktails and
Thai food and it was really fun not good pre-race snacks is my point so I spent the night and there
wasn't much rest and I got up and ran this half marathon and so I did this half marathon and I
fucking struggled if I'm being completely honest really really struggled to get to the end but I
did it and then I went back to his house I had a really quick shower and then we went to the
AFL and I was sitting down watching this AFL game for about two hours and I stood up and my legs
were literally immobile they were like cement poles I had to get carried out of this stadium
because I couldn't walk because I'd done this run that I was so unfit to do and then I just sat down
for so long there were so many twists and turns when you said you had the knees I thought or
whatever you had the night before I thought it was going to be a shit story I really it really
wasn't a humble brag he broke up with me afterwards I was like please tell me you
shit yourself with the curry otherwise what was the curry part about anyway no I think he was
kind of a bit like this girl is just not an athlete carrying me out of the stadium probably
is what you know the straw that broke the camel's back do you think he only dates athletes do you
think that that was the he actually has gone on to do long distance running himself so maybe it
was a personal ick for him that I wasn't able to do 21k I'm not gonna lie sounds like the worst
date i've ever heard we went for curry ran a half marathon went to the afl i'm like what that he
didn't do the run i did the run you were trying to impress him weren't you i was trying to impress
him when we think about all the things we've done in our past lives to try and impress men
humiliating tragic i hate myself i started spearfishing i was a spear fisherman because
i bought a full proper gun and everything and i hated it but i was like i love adventure i was
like i'm gonna spear that fish guys i bought a drone once because i was like i have a drone as
what the fuck oh so tragic i do want to say you look very fit thank you amazing i'm sorry it was
just my bias laura great vagina thank you can anyone come for my vagina now strength i'm speaking
of something i do want to talk about from vaginas to penises you guys know clavicular okay we've
talked about him too much he's a loser i'm actually gonna put a ban on it after this
clavicular he's the guy that brought looks maxing kind of like into this sphere of conversation and
every week he has some sort of other stupid looks maxing thing that he's doing we've talked about in
a past episode we'll link it in show notes if you want to go and listen to that but at this point i
think he's trolling us at this point i think that he is completely trolling us and he just wakes up
in the morning goes hmm what sort of crazy whack shit can i say today to get a headline
so anyway he's come out and he's now looks maxing his penis he's penis maxing which he probably
could have started there because you know with all the insecurities he has i'm surprised he's
only just gotten to his penis now. All the steroids he takes, I wouldn't be surprised if
there were effects that were happening there that are in the opposite direction of maxing.
So he recently went on Logan Paul's podcast and he talked about this thing that he's doing. Actually,
he talked about a few controversial things I want to unpack, but the penis maxing is first. Okay.
So he's been exercising the strength of his penis and he demonstrated how he's been doing this and
And he gets an erection and then he hangs shopping bags off his dick.
It's actually.
It's so silly.
And he waits the shopping bags and then has to try and flex and keep his penis erection up with the shopping bags.
Like a curl.
Like he's trying to do a dick curl.
Yeah, he's dick curling.
I don't believe it.
He's doing a frenulum curl.
Is that what it's called?
Frenulum?
Frenulum's a little bit beneath it.
Kind of attaches.
I don't know anything.
I'm not a scientist.
I just know it's a penis and he's trying to curl it.
anyway he did say that it helps with the strength of the penis but unfortunately the erection does
hang lower so like over time it's like a more downward hang lean to the penis why on earth
dick's doing a downward dog he's such a loser honestly and i don't believe it i believe now
that he's just doing it for the clicks and so that people like us talk about it because that's
what's happening right and he says it's so deadpan and like there's no emotion in anything he does
I feel like he's exhausted by himself like that's the impression it gives you know when he's like
I'm fucking sick of my own voice that's the impression I get but he's still doing it for
the clicks he also said he doesn't believe in orgasms for women like he doesn't give a fuck
about giving a woman an orgasm he'll just go have sex for like two minutes and blow his load and
leave quote unquote he said that he didn't believe that it was a good return on investment yeah an
ROI had no ROI that basically this was the conversation he said that he wasn't going to
spend an hour and a half trying to make a woman come oh if you if you're taking an hour and a
half exactly so then there was a little bit of shade thrown by the podcasting host who was like
oh actually doesn't take all women might take you that long and he was like oh well like 15 to 30
minutes I'm still not going to waste my time I could be doing things that are really important
like taking an important phone call like putting a shopping bag on your dick and doing a curl
what a wasted strong dick like imagine having like a really strong penis that's just not
good at anything that guy has never given a woman an orgasm in his life I can guarantee it and he
happily most men would be embarrassed by that like most men would be embarrassed to say I don't give
women orgasms if they're in a heterosexual relationship most men would find that like
an odd thing to be proud of this man goes on podcasts and says he'd rather take an important
call he'd rather do pretty much anything that's a better use of his time and requires extra effort
than giving a woman an orgasm.
Imagine going home with that man.
Imagine taking him home.
I want to give you a hypothetical.
You have to pick, would you prefer Clavicula,
who just outright says, I don't give women orgasms
because it's a bad return on investment,
or would you rather a guy, you've gone home,
you've had two minutes worth of sex, they've come,
you haven't made a single noise, not a single moan has come out of you,
and he turns, he rolls over and he goes, so did you come?
I'd rather option B because at least he's trying.
He didn't do it, but at least he was like the thought was there.
No, that's the problem because option B didn't try.
And there was nothing about your breath, demeanor, enthusiasm.
There was nothing about you laying there lifeless that indicated an orgasm.
I wish that my 20-year-old self just had more confidence to like be honest
and disappoint a man because I always faked that.
Laura's like, yeah, I came.
that was great it was the best i've actually never come harder i always silent it's a great
return on investment i always come completely silently and in 10 seconds i don't want to play
this game anymore seriously i wish i wish that i had more confidence to say to a man what about
my demeanor makes you think i came like what was it what was there what did you experience i wish
if you have to ask you probably already know the answer if you ask it should have been clear
but apparently not what would I prefer I don't think I'd prefer clavicular I think I'd prefer
to fuck clavicular so I could come on the podcast and talk about it and have some content at least
gross yeah I've probably done worse yeah I was gonna say we're laughing but the guy is so
problematic can I tell you something my algorithm took me down penises last night so there is a few
surgeons but one in particular in new york that came out and talked about like the effect of these
conversations the effect of the people like clavicular talking about how he's trying to make
his dick big and you have to have a huge dick to be able to like be classified as a man and win a
woman whatever the flow-on effect so this penis surgeon is saying the number of men that come to
see me now has increased astronomically and he said over 50 of them that come to increase their
size because they said that they are too small he said over 50 of them are above average so he has
to tell them you know that your penis is above average but they have been so conditioned by it
now by this next wave of people like fucking clavicular that he's making all these men and
not just young men like older men too feel like their manhood needs to be bigger for them to show
up successfully in a relationship or have any worth i don't know if it's because of someone
like clavicular because like even listening to this and like reading through what he's had to
say he doesn't actually even explain the why like him trying to like penis max of course there's
people that follow it hence why it's made it so prolifically we all know about the manosphere
but i actually think that's porn brit i think that that's too many men watching porn and seeing
massive penises on porn and then going woman doesn't know porn's always been around i think
that it's men showing up from porn i mean porn of course but porn's been around since the start of
time like since what is it dinosaur age but this is literally they're saying it's a flow-on effect
from this man is fit like the last few years these conversations they're convincing men
and young boys that these are the things you need to have to show up to be masculine and to be
considered serious like these are surgeons that have been operating for 25 years that are saying
like i cannot tell you the amount of people that are coming in now to increase their size because
they are made to believe that they are now inadequate so i'm still imagining like a man
running away from T-Rex watching porn.
The dino age.
Dino flu stones.
He's in a cave and he's watching porn.
Yeah, look, I mean, like I said, we should ban Clavicula,
although we probably will talk about him again next week
and I'll laugh at him because he's a loser.
I'm kind of grateful.
He makes me feel very – it's like how I feel if I watch something
like Geordie Shore.
Like I'm like, wow, I am Einstein.
Like I feel so intelligent and so normal when I hear from people
like Clavicula.
It's like watching maths.
you just feel a little bit better about yourself
all right well something i saw this week from our beloved matthew hussey if you guys don't
know matthew hussey he is a wonderfully very famous relationship specialist i don't think
you call him a therapist but it's been his mo for coach yeah he's a coach it's been his mo for a
very long time we've had him on the podcast before hopefully we'll have him again but he was talking
about basically this TikTok trend of influencers saying that a high value woman deserves more than
a coffee date. And I don't know how much we need to break down this value and trend of high value
women. I think it's ridiculous. I mean, again, we're putting a label on something, of course,
respect yourself, respect your relationships, whatever else. But the idea that they are saying
for you to have a relationship of a man that respects you and he's going to show up for you
and he's going to show you your worth, a coffee date's not it because he's not dropping the amount
of bank to show you that you're worth what you deem you are worth. So it's this idea about people
relating their self-worth to how much money a man is going to spend on you on the first date.
So they are saying, absolutely do not rock up to somebody that's offering you a coffee for a first
date because he's showing you what he's going to bring you for the rest of the relationship. He's
showing you that you are not worth anything more. You are not worth a dinner. You're not worth
drinks. You're not worth a few hundred dollars. So if anyone asks you on a coffee date, say no.
Now, I think this is ridiculous. And I want you to hear what Matthew Hussey said.
Higher value women don't accept coffee. A lot of TikTokers and influencers claim that women who
accept coffee dates are acting low value. The argument these people make is that a woman who
respects herself wouldn't show up to meet someone that isn't paying a lot to spend time with her.
If our value is so easily lost that it goes away by showing up on a coffee date,
there is a fragility to how we see our own value. Your value is not dependent on how much someone
is willing to spend on you. That gives other people way too much power. And it also starts
off a relationship as a transaction. People are confusing here investment with intention.
Expensive does not equal serious. It does not even equal generous automatically. Inexpensive
doesn't mean unserious. Yes, effort matters. Intentionality matters. Thoughtfulness matters.
Generosity matters. But none of those things are perfectly measured by money.
I couldn't think of anything worse than going on what might be perceived as a high value date
on a first date I want a coffee date I mean I don't want any dates because I'm married but I
mean somebody take me on a date yeah but a coffee date you know like just where it's not there's no
pressure there's no time restraints I don't need especially if you don't know the person
different if it's like a second date or a third date and you're actually like wanting to get to
know the person and do something like I definitely think that there can come a time where that shifts
in terms of feeling as though there isn't enough effort put in.
Like I get that that might be something you would start
to consider later down the track.
But when it very first comes to getting to know someone,
why would you want to invest money and lock yourself in on time
on someone who you actually don't know if you ever want to see again?
That's exhausting.
One thing doesn't equal the other.
Like somebody can take you out to a fancy dinner, drop $500 on you
and still treat you like shit.
Like he can still not respect you.
he can still not respect the waitstaff. Like money doesn't equate to the respect and the
self-worth that you think it's going to do. And I agree, Laura, I've always said on this podcast,
do not lock yourself into a dinner. And I stand by that. I would think that I'm a high value woman
in terms of wanting respect in my relationship, but money absolutely does not equate to that.
And if anything, the dates that I have always gone on, asked for and recommended are free.
it's like let's go on a walk let's go on literally like let's meet go for a walk there's no commitment
I don't care if you spend money on it we'll get a coffee we'll relax and then we will decide if
we want to see each other again and then we will decide if we're going to go on a fancy date but
it just irked me I was like how gross that this is becoming a trend I used to feel like this when
I was in my early 20s though I actually remember I had a boyfriend who I refer to as the worst
person in the world on this podcast and I remember at the start of our relationship I brought that up
with him where we were talking about like the concept of coffee dates and I remember being like
oh gosh no I'd never go on a coffee date like that just to me seems very like non-committal
yeah non-committal like it's not much effort it's not much excitement I think it was the excitement
that I wanted out of dates and I've been on first dates that weren't expensive I've actually been on
a really really good first date when I was so young we went snorkeling and it was so much fun
this person was a scuba instructor and so you know it was related to what he did but we actually
saw sea turtles and it was like still one of the best dates I've ever been on probably because I
got to see sea turtles but I just remember thinking that a coffee date felt very meh and felt very
like I thought it was a reflection of how they saw me and that they just thought I was maybe a
bit meh and now my tune has changed like it could not have flipped more because now exactly like you
guys have said for me if I was going on a first date and they were like hey I want to take you to
this hatted restaurant that is super expensive.
You'd be like, you're love bombing me.
I actually feel as though it seems like it's too much of a transaction.
I would feel indebted.
Oh, totally.
You feel like you owe them something.
You owe them a second date.
Yes, and I might not want to fuck you.
And I actually think that that's –
That was a joke.
Wait.
I will.
What part of it was a joke?
But it also might not have been a joke.
I don't actually sleep with people in the exchange of dinner.
No, because the thing is, is though, it feels as though
then there is an exchange.
it feels as though there's an expectation and like it's harder to say no I don't want you to
come home obviously all of those things you can say whatever you want at the end of a date
but I understand why some people feel as though there's more pressure to like have a kiss at the
end of the day or any of those things if there's been more effort put in know that that is not my
thoughts on this you can absolutely say no at any time you could get up and walk out of a very
expensive restaurant if you wanted to if you're not having a good time but I think my biggest
gripe with this whole thing isn't even around the coffee dates thing. It's around this internet
terminology of a high value or low value person or date. A high value woman, a high value man
gives me the biggest ick in total. Like I hate that we have reduced people down and we objectify
them so much in terms of like these character checklists that we're saying makes you and
quantifies you as someone that is quote unquote high value. Because there's two things that's
going on here one there is like I mean the patriarchy is very at play if you look at what
defines a high value woman it's all the things like emotional maturity but it's also a woman
who takes care of her aesthetics who would never like you know let herself quote-unquote go like
and then for a man it's very money success and everything else driven emotional maturity but
there is definitely like the key successes do you reckon they'll add penis maxing and also there's
real strength in your penis but the thing about this is like value in a human is completely
subjective dependent on the things that you value in a human like you might not care if someone has
a job that pays them lots of money and financial security in a way because you might be someone
who is looking for someone who wants to travel and have experiences like we all have different
expectations and values and what it is that we're looking for and I just think the terminology of
high value man and high value woman is deeply ick. Yeah. Someone's trash is someone else's
treasure. Like I was trash, but to my partner, I am treasure. I have something that I need to
share with you guys, which I feel as though you might be as alarmed by as what I was when I read
this number. How much, and just do a little inventory check yourself right now. How much
skincare do you currently have in your bathroom cupboards and wherever it is in your house
that you have purchased and you are not actually using? How many sunscreens or face washes or
random ass creams that you thought were going to get rid of some sort of pigmentation, you use
them twice and then you left them to just sit in the graveyard of skincare that is currently in
your bathroom? Because I think we are, a lot of us are guilty of this one. Laura, you've come to
the right place have you seen I am mortified I have two bathrooms in my house I live alone your
bathroom is full your bathroom is full it's like a graveyard of decimated skincare you would think
a family of 11 lives there it is insane I'm embarrassed by it and I know it's wrong but I
will put my hand up and say that I have an obsession with my skin and my hair and trying
to look after it and I have too many things that are just sitting around not used but you know what
we all do it because what we do is we buy a product we use it for a couple of weeks we don't
get any sort of like instant gratification or satisfaction out of it. We go back to the thing
that we probably have always used anyway. And then a couple of weeks later or a month later,
some other ad will pop up and we buy something else. And then the same cycle continues.
I have so much product in my house that I have bought, used a bit of it and never finished.
And now the reason why I say this is going to be shocking, and maybe you'll feel like I did,
but Australia, young Australians collectively are wasting $2 billion a year on skincare products.
Is that with a B?
Billion.
Billion.
Billion.
Wow.
Which we buy and we never use.
So we are purchasing $2 billion, imagine that going back to the economy,
of skincare that it's inevitably ending up in landfills
and we are not actually using the products within the bottles.
It makes me feel sick when I say it out loud.
It's so –
It makes you feel sick.
We live in a consumerist wasteland, but we really do.
It makes me feel like I need to start a skincare brand.
I had a product the other day.
this is mortifying and I definitely do forget that things are there
and then they vanish out of my mind and I come back a year later
and I'm like, oh, there's that thing again.
This product had mould growing around it and I was like,
oh, do I just push the mould off or has it infected all of the product?
It was like a hand cream.
It was a nice one too.
It was in Doda and I was like, oh, shit, because it was a good one.
I just kind of like pushed the mold around and I was like, do I just use the rest of it?
It's also really confusing to me with all the skincare that you do have sitting in your
bathroom that you chose to wipe the mold off the one that you've been leaving there for so long.
I definitely can be a skincare hoarder because my skin goes through lots of changes. I'm a
hormonal girly and I've gone on times where I've been on Accutane and off Accutane. And so I'm like,
I'll have to keep that around for when I'm not going to be as sensitive or when I am going to
be more sensitive. And then I just forget about them. I want to read you out a couple of stats
here. So 53% of young Aussies only use half the skincare products that they own, which is what
has added to this $2 billion wasted every year. And unfortunately, millennials, we are the worst
offenders at this. So apparently we're spending on average $1,200 each a year on new skincare,
with 76% of us buying five new products every month. Do you know, I blame my mom. I blame her
for the whole 2 billion. I grew up in a household where with a mom who purchased every type of
skincare under like our cupboards were full. She purchased everything and she really would just
like try something. And then that same sort of routine, it didn't quite work the way that she
thought it was going to work. And so then she'd try something else. Like, and we are all victims
to this like ridiculous standard of which we have to keep, which comes to like the insecurities of
our beauty and our standard of, I guess, reaching and trying to stay as young as possible. And so
we're always looking for the next quick fix. We're also the victims of extreme marketing that is
constantly being bombarded on us, how we can fix that thing that we didn't even know we had an
insecurity about. I know that at this point when you read these figures, you're like, okay, yes,
we're purchasing a lot and yes, we are being wasteful, but you really can't get out of the
machine where you're constantly being advertised to buy more at the same time.
I want to flip the script. I want to add a euphemism here. And it's actually that we are
the most hopeful. We really do continuously believe that that one product is all it's
going to take. I have tried hundreds to thousands of products over my years. And I'm someone who
has had really bad skin at different stages. I've been on Accutane twice and still I will
read marketing and I'm going to be like, this is going to be the one. This is going to be the one
that's going to revolutionize my skin. To be fair, I have found what works for me now. And I think
I'm better with the consumption only because I'm, I guess maybe being on those medications makes it
very, you have to be quite careful and be very specific with what you can and can't use. And so
now I know what those things are. And I think that I'm getting better with spending money on things
that I'm not going to use. I just think that this is a really big spotlight on the insecurities we
have when it comes to the way in which we think women in particular, the way in which we feel
that we need to look, because if we're wasting this much money across a year on skincare that
we're not using, it's not that we're not trying it. We're not buying it and then sitting it and
letting it rot in a cupboard. Like we're trying it and we're not getting the desired outcome or
whatever expectation there must be. And I think it's kind of sad that we feel as though we're
continuously needing to fix or tweak or improve something that is on our body or on our face.
and that there is always hope that some skincare is going to be,
I guess, the golden elixir that's going to do that.
Well, the last thing I want to talk about is just this idea
of faking it till you make it.
Now, there is an influencer.
Also, you're not going to learn anything from this,
and please, no one try this at home.
There's an influencer that's just been arrested in America
for pretending to be like a high-end real estate agent.
So her name is Madison.
So reportedly she was like rocking up to these $11, $12, $13 million
Bel Air mansions and she would walk into the suite and she would walk in
with like a clipboard and her glasses and she would have a tripod
and she would say that she is here as a real estate agent
to show an anonymous billionaire Singaporean buyer through the house.
And she started doing this for like months and what she would do
is then go in with her tripod, set up, film the entire house
and film like tours going through it saying, I'm going to give you guys an inside look into this
Bel Air mansion. She would go through the wardrobe, she'd go through the kitchen, she would suggest
like renovations and things like that. Then she'd quickly pack down a tripod, leave, upload it to
Instagram and these inside private house tours would then start going viral. And finally someone
clued onto it and someone was like, hang on, you're not actually a real estate agent. Like she was
this big scam artist and she ended up getting arrested. The officer that arrested us said
she told us that she was building her brand and we told her that we were building a case
and I just thought this was so funny. I thought imagine the audacity to be walking into these
mansions that are like worth the equivalent of 20 million dollars, lying that you're a real estate
agent to then go and grow your Instagram brand. I actually think it's pretty brilliant.
Brie, what's the crime?
A succulent Chinese meal?
Look, guys, it's highly likely that this isn't even a true story.
But, like, what is the crime?
I'm confused.
Is it fraud?
Well, the crime, yeah.
I mean, like, look, if this is even true, the crime would be you can't,
I mean, yeah, it's fraud.
You're saying you have a real estate license.
You're pretending to be somebody else.
You're, I guess, illegally showing up to a house,
illegally filming somebody else's house,
and then you're uploading it to the internet for, like, I don't know,
There's potentially hundreds of thousands to millions of people to be seen.
I think it's fine.
I like the hustle.
I feel like they should be paying her for doing the marketing for them.
She's like a good little entrepreneur.
But also, like, I think you've got to be creative.
You've got to be hungry in this world.
And the fact that she's showing up and she's created a little niche in her industry,
I don't know why we're arresting people over that.
And also, if it's an open house, what's the difference between, like,
a sticky beak neighbor coming through and, like,
just looking through your underwear drawer and some chick who's posting it on social media?
I have been very curious about this because, like, I mean, we live in Sydney.
The houses here are disgustingly expensive.
And I have wondered whether little old me would ever be allowed to rock up to, like, a, let's say, a $12 million house just because I was nosy and just because I wanted to see it.
Like, how do they check that you have enough money to potentially purchase that house?
I don't know because I've never been to one that expensive.
And I think the thing is, and look, I think the hustle is real too. You got to do what you got
to do. I get that. But I think the difference is here. She's not rocking up to open homes.
She's apparently like for four weeks at a time with like a homeowner, she'd be pretending to
be a real estate. So she would be going saying, Hey, look, I have this buyer. I need to film the
house to show him. It was just a load of rubbish. It was not to show us rich Singaporean buyer. It
was just to grow her Instagram. And I think you'd be pissed off then. Like if you had just had
someone come into your house for four weeks filming content and they were just fucking
trying to grow an Instagram you'd be so off it but hey do you know when you first have shared
this one I actually thought it was more so like she was just coming in and then she was like doing
like a quick skincare routine or something like she wasn't in my life like she's just walking
around the house pretending to be a like pretending to be a buyer and then she was like hiding in a
bedroom and just doing like a quick like I just gotta freaking nut out this bit of content that
I got to do and send it off to a brand. Like I thought she was just using it as a backdrop. So
she wasn't having to do like house hires. Do you know what's really funny? One time I had to film
content, but my brother's house is a lot nicer and a lot newer than mine. And so I took the,
I was going up to visit. And so I took a couple of things so I could take content in the house
because I was like, it looks better. Fair. Also, you've got to find that light. I'll sit out in
the backyard and film content. They've got skylights. They've got nice tiles. Have you
seen my bathrooms at home? Like Laura, of course you have, you still live there. I have to film
my skincare routines in the backyard like I live in a den you go into my bathroom you go into my
bathroom and it is like the darkest most black mold like I get an infection when I walk in there
I have to go out into my garden and be like hey morning skincare routine and I'm like in the
jungle it's insane what I love is like when you get a brand brief from someone like Esme skincare
or whatever and who we love you know they'll send this is what we would like in terms of like
lighting and this is like you know the style of content and usually it says film in an appropriate
place like a bathroom or a bedroom bedroom and brit's just outside of the dog house i am but
they know trying to get some life they know now they're like you do you girl you can film anywhere
it's fine you're out in the street in the car like applying eye bag mask whatever it is anyway guys
