A Life Uncut podcast acknowledges the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia
and their connections to land, sea and community.
We pay our respect to their elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
This episode is recorded on Gadigal land of the Aurora Nation.
Hi guys, and welcome back to another episode of Life Uncut.
I'm Laura.
And I'm Brittany.
And you know what we're going to talk about.
We've had the best fucking week ever.
It has been wild.
We had our first ever live show.
I mean, if you were there, you would know.
If you weren't there and you listened to it, you would know.
But we're going to tell you anyway.
It was insane.
it was a packed out theater there were 1200 of you amazing lifers and Laura and I this is days
later and we are still goosebumping on a high we have so much energy we still can't believe
anyone came to see us do you know what I was okay so when I was in school I literally was petrified
of doing public speaking I remember I had to do you know like when you're in high school you're
in your 11 or 12 you always have to do some sort of like written speech that you have to stand up
and perform yes 100% I remember well I don't even remember what mine was about I did one for music
class I got kicked out of music class in year 10 but I'll never forget it fun times well I feel
like you would have been better at it than I was I was pretty good yeah okay great love that for
you so I remember getting up and doing my speech and three quarters of the way through I was shaking
so much that it just stopped I just stopped speaking and then went and sat down and I was
like I'm done I was like I'm not enjoying this experience so I'm just not going to read the rest
of it out to you the teacher's like well actually you're not done like you know I was like I need
to finish I'm done so when I came to doing a live show I was like I wonder how this is gonna go if
this is going terribly can I just be like I'm done and walk out imagine if you did and you just left
me on my own I'd be like cool I'm just going to make some stuff up but can I say as soon as we
got out there on the stage and all of you absolute freaking legends were just screaming and being
amazing I did not feel even one iota of nervousness I was like you were amazing oh thanks babe you
were you because I actually thought you were going to be nervous because I know that you don't like
public speaking i was in my element i was like welcome to my house everybody i live here now
you'll never get me off the stage and you didn't we ran an hour over because she couldn't get us
off the stage also the reason why we ran an hour over if anyone who was there noticed that the
first part of the show went for a very long time and that's because the clock on stage broke and
we were just having so much fun and we didn't know what time it was so what what happens is right
obviously we have x amount of guests we have our little segment to start we've got intros you got
music we had Vera Blue so you have to time all these because you get an amount of time for the
entire show they gave us a little clock that they put up the front that you guys couldn't see but
we could see it but it wasn't really working so every time we glanced down it had said like five
minutes had gone past but 20 minutes had gone past and every second it was actually taking three
seconds because the battery was half dead it was insane so we were on there for way way longer but
we didn't know we didn't feel it we hope you didn't feel it because we could not stop smiling
and laughing and just had the most like we had the most amazing time so we're so stoked that
you guys had a great time too but also just to let you know i don't know so many of you there
was thousands of you that watched it on the live stream which was amazing as well but what we're
gonna do this week we have some very special bonus episodes for you coming in hot so at the live show
we interviewed chantelle otten who you know is a sexologist we've had her on the podcast many times
and she spoke about orgasms and libido then we also spoke to jan fran she's a journalist a tv
presenter for the project and also the host of question everything so she spoke about how social
media is changing journalism and women within the media we interviewed matt okine and i reckon that
was one of my favorite chats of the night matt okine spoke about microaggression but he also had
the fucking funniest accidentally unfiltered story i think i have ever heard in my entire life he's a
very very funny man and all i could think about after that chat we had 15 minutes with him i
thought he's coming on the pod i need him on the podcast we are and then we also spoke to m kerry
again and we spoke to her about some different questions that we hadn't covered when she came
on the podcast herself but basically the plan is this week what we're going to do is we're going
to cut up the live show so we're going to have each of those individual interviews we're going
to put them out as bonus episodes this week so if you see matt okine chantal otten jan fran and m
kerry dropping into the feed that is what those episodes are going to be and truly they were such
amazing shorter chats we think you guys are going to absolutely love them if you guys weren't at the
show you wouldn't have seen on the live stream because we didn't live stream this part we had
a very special guest open the show and she came back after intermission to perform we had Vera
Blue come and perform three songs one of which is her brand new single and it was what a vibe what
a vibe set the whole audience was just so enamored by her and there's something about her that is
hypnotizing like her voice is incredible but she's just incredible to watch well also when you meet
you know when you meet a person in real life and they're just so divinely lovely like I think
I guess sometimes I think people and celebrities are going to just be like a little bit of hard
work or they're going to be a bit distant when you meet them like I felt like backstage we're
like oh maybe Vera will just be want to stay in her room and not speak to us and then just come
out and perform her songs and go but she was honestly one of the nicest people she was so
incredibly lovely. The songs that she performed were Regular Touch and Lady Powers first and then
her brand new single which is Mermaid Avenue was the song that she sang after intermission but
truly if you haven't listened to Vera Blue before or you don't know who she is an artist go check
her out on YouTube because she is divine and I cannot recommend it enough. All right well it's
Tuesday which means right now when you're listening to this I am at my sister's wedding. Now I'm at
her first wedding because she is having two weddings to the same person but two weddings.
how does that make you feel I mean Sherry that's so selfish you're having two of them it is so
selfish Sherry is the crazy thing is Sherry's the baby of the family there's four kids if you guys
don't know I actually I don't really talk about my other siblings for no other reason other than
Sherry and I are best friends but I have two older brothers I'm the third and Sherry's the
little baby so I have Mitch and Dane then there's me and then there's Sherry so the baby of the
family is 30 oh she just turned 33 I think 32 I don't know give or take the baby the family's
32 and she's the first one out of all of us to get married. So my mum and dad are like, thank God
they've waited 32 years. So she decided to have two weddings just to compensate for everybody else
in the family. She's like, well, no one else is going to do it. I'll have two. So no, she's married
right now as we speak. She's married an Indian man, Jay. He's now my brother-in-law. I absolutely
adore him. So the first wedding today is an Indian wedding at a Sikh temple. Very traditional. So
that's wedding one. Does that mean that you're all going, you're wearing saris and doing henna
and having like the whole.
Yep.
So we're having a henna party.
Sherry gets more,
I don't know if you want to say extreme,
but she gets more detailed henna on her hands
because she's the bride, obviously.
Yeah, beautiful saris.
And I will speak about it more
once I have actually done it.
So next week I'll talk about it a bit more,
but it's very traditional
and there's little things
that both of our fathers do
to sort of tie the union together.
And then there are things
that the mothers do
and it's going to be
a really beautiful experience.
And then two days later,
so on this Thursday,
she's having her Scottish Australian wedding
because he's Indian,
but he's also Scottish.
So they're having a Scottish wedding.
They met in Scotland.
So there's bagpipes and it's going to be,
it's going to be a very, very big, wild week
just to top off an already amazing week.
I do as well love that Sherry has timed her weddings
with the podcast releases like Tuesday and Thursday.
Sherry's going for it, going for gold.
Well, she does do a lot behind the scenes
and she's also done off the back of the live show too.
She's just like, she's just keeping it rolling.
Can I say, I mean, we're so excited for Sherry.
It was a privilege.
I got to make her wedding band.
We made her a bangle.
Is it called a cara?
Akara, yeah.
So you've made her engagement ring.
I made her wedding band.
You made her wedding band and then you also made Akara for Jay.
And that is like, I mean, you probably know more than me,
but it's a bangle bracelet kind of a thing that he will wear
at the Indian ceremony.
Yeah, so it's this solid silver bangle that once he puts it on,
he can't take it off ever again.
It's part of the ceremony of getting married,
but it's meant to be this infinite, obviously a bangle, you know,
has no start and no end because it's a circle,
but it's meant to symbolize the wedding and the union and he can't ever take that off and that's
part of her indian wedding wow so extreme henna extreme bengals there's a lot of extreme extremeness
going on forever let's tell you what today's episode is about before we go any further
we are getting sexy we are talking about a secret sex club well it's not so secret you can google
it and it's on the podcast and it's out there but it sounds like saucy when you say it's a secret
sex club like you can literally buy tickets to it on a Friday Saturday night the sex club is in
Annandale and we are speaking to Jessica Cattell now Jessica is the club owner of the sex club and
basically she's talking through like what is a swingers sex club and how does one go to and be a
part of you know a secret sex club well it's called our secret spot so that's why I said it
was a secret because like it's a secret non-secret so I mean you can google it but like yeah don't
tell your mum or your dad or your dog or your friends keep that one secret and don't share
the love but it was such an interesting chat about how it works there's multiple levels
there's multiple floors she did tell us off record that there's a lot of a-listers when
they're in town that go to the club but she was very very professional she didn't name anyone but
she said yeah you'd be surprised with who you see there and I was like you know just like slide into
my dms and blink twice if anyone really really amazing is there and I'll swing on by it's only
gonna go if they're doing a masquerade ball though okay but the other thing I found that
was really interesting about this chat with Jess is that not only is she the owner and the organizer
of this sex club, but she also is in a monogamish, this is how she describes it, a monogamish
relationship. So she is involved in swinging with her partner. They have an open-ish relationship
where they bring other people into their relationship to have sex. They're not open
in terms of going and just like having relationships outside of their core relationship,
but they will bring other individuals into the bedroom with them and I found that part of the
conversation so interesting because for me I guess I have such a voyeuristic interest into how people
run and navigate open relationships and how that works for them when I realized talking to Jess
that 150 people or something are going every night on a weekend like this isn't a small thing anymore
there's a really big community of people out there exploring and having fun so it got me thinking I'm
like would we ever do it would you ever do it firstly you guys you all know how tired I am and
how much how little sex I'm having at the moment but like the thought of using that to spice up my
sex life I think for me I would really struggle with the jealousy aspect of it and I get that
you know there's jealousy in all relationships regardless but I don't think I would want to
ever change the dynamic of my relationship with Matt by opening it up to other people that's not
for me but hey not here to yuck anyone else's yum and always interested in hearing how other
people do it and navigate it because I find it truly fucking fascinating I think for me I would
probably be more likely to try it say now when I'm single and I would do it somewhere in Europe
like I'd go somewhere where they're all so free and loving and passionate and no one knows me
I think I'd be more likely to do it now single than maybe in a long-term relationship but I
don't know because I'm not in that position and you know what I agree with you Brit like I think
for me looking back in my past I think I would have been more like I would have put my hand up
volunteered to do it and been involved with a couple rather than having another person involved
with me as a couple if that makes sense totally but I missed that boat it's the ship has sailed
well you've still got another month to get married officially producer Keisha she's just sitting on
the lounge here you were speaking in the last couple of weeks I don't know if I'm allowed to
say this but you were going to go and venture out to a sex club do some due diligence research you
were going to put it on the company card tax deduction can you go to a sex club and like hang
out look at an orgy room and then put on the company card put it on your claim tax on it what
do you reckon your accountant would say you're like I'm sorry I'm doing research for life on
card do you reckon you're still gonna do that because I know you were pretty closed on the
precipice there you were like oh I'm gonna go I'm booking in next weekend but you didn't quite book
in so how are you feeling now well I remember when Sally Hepworth joined the podcast the author
remember when you guys spoke to her and she went to the sex club to research her books and I was
like man I want to be a fly on the wall of that situation I don't know where like I definitely
think that i'll go because i'm so curious i need you to go i need you to come with me you're now
my friend that i go out with so yeah i think i will i think it's escalating a lot as a friend
that goes out to the royal the local night to the sex club together i don't know if you can
take your employees to a sex club brit is that breaching a lot of protocols i'm like that breach
happened a long time ago what did you guys do what'd you do for your christmas party i took
keisha to the sex club laura you can't come to the christmas party there are other things i'd
like to do on the christmas party than watch you two in an orgy room put it that way but anyway
there is something else i wanted to talk about before we get into the chat with jessica there
is a tiktok that has gone very viral you know i love a little tiktok and tiktok viral thing to
talk about guys i'm interrupting quickly i joined tiktok yesterday so welcome can you follow me i
have no followers i don't have one follower yet not even laura or keisha and i have no posts but
I'll put the link up tonight.
So if you can follow me on TikTok, it's pretty ugly.
Thanks.
Continue on the TikTok channel.
Okay, I'm loving the self-promotion.
All right, I want to play the audio for you so you know exactly what it is.
But basically, this TikTok comes from a woman called At Dis Bitch,
which is D-I-S-B-I-T-C-H-42.
What a name.
And she has written, tag all doctors.
Basically, it's a stitch.
And she's asking how other women wash and clean their vulva.
It's come to my attention that we all are washing our vaginas differently.
I would like a medical professional to stitch this video and tell us how to properly wash
ourselves down there. Okay. So I was using feminine wash, the Vagisil pH balance, and I
actually got BV and my doctor said it was a contributing factor. It threw off my pH balance.
So she said the best thing to use would be a bar of soap, like Dove or Dial, unscented,
sensitive skin. I'm using Dove right now. I have a bar of soap and I lather it in my hands, right?
Put the bar of soap aside and I wash the outside, put it on the outside of the vagina
and in the crack area.
I don't go in the canal, I just go in the crack.
I've seen a lot of ladies say that they just use water.
I want to have somebody to tell us how to actually wash our vagina.
Judge Judy, I don't give a fuck.
I listened to this and I found this so interesting.
Firstly, question Brit, how do you wash yourself downstairs?
I actually just went to Bunnings the other day
and got one of those pressure hoses.
I just connected up outside.
Delilah gets a hose down, I get a hose down,
and we continue on with our day.
You gurney Delilah and your vagina at the same time.
Very good for taking any residue off the walls.
Well, if you turn up the pressure really high, I can do the pavement too.
Okay, but we joke about this.
I think the best thing.
No, okay, wait.
Before we get into the best thing, I actually want to know.
Oh, you actually want to know?
Yeah, I want to know.
How does one wash themselves?
Because obviously-
I mean, I just use a bar of soap or like a body wash.
I don't understand the question.
But the outside, not the inside, right?
Well, I don't put my finger in there and clean it out.
It's not like putting it in the dishwasher.
People probably do.
This is the thing.
We've all been told don't wash it because it's self-cleaning.
But to what extent?
How self-cleaning?
Does the outside?
Is it just the inside?
What part do you clean?
Do you clean your labia?
Like a bit more instruction would probably be helpful to a lot of women.
Okay, definitely don't put an exfoliation glove on.
That is a sensitive area.
So no coffee scrubs down there?
No coffee scrubs.
My understanding was always that it's, you know,
A, it's self-cleaning to an extent.
You still have to, like, clean it.
But you don't want to interrupt the natural flora.
Is that the –
pH balances?
Yeah, the pH balance and the flora.
So I think you're supposed to use – correct me if I'm wrong –
I think you're supposed to use just, like, a plain soapy bar of soap,
nothing extreme, no hectic body washes, and just let it do its thing.
It's like one of those robot vacuums that you just press go.
You just let your robot vagina just do its cleaning.
I do fucking love my robot vacuum cleaner.
I would let it clean inside me if it could fit.
Okay, do not sit on your robot vacuum cleaner.
I'm going to come home and Laura's naked sitting on the vacuum cleaner.
It's the favourite thing I own.
I would have sex with it.
Okay, the best thing about this TikTok video by Disbitch42,
it's not even the video.
It's not even the conversation around how one cleans their vulva.
It was the comments.
The comments from literally thousands, 23,000 comments from women
describing how they clean themselves down there.
It's actually wild.
I'm just going to kick off with a couple of them.
I bring mine to the dry cleaner and pick it up at the end of the day,
but once in a while I just hang it outside.
Your vagina detaches?
I live in Florida, so during hurricane season I go outside,
bend and spread.
The rest of the year I just use a power washer.
Like me!
Regular water, but on Sundays,
holy water to wash the sins from the week away.
I always dry mine in a dryer so that it shrinks back up.
I use an old-fashioned washboard and then slap it against a rock.
I just love that everybody, like, watched this TikTok
and then they understood the brief so perfectly.
In Canada, during winter, antifreeze works to keep it warm
during those negative 40 degree below weather days.
I have another Canada one.
It says, I'm Canadian, so I use a little maple syrup diluted with snow.
I hang mine out the window every time we go down the highway.
You get the G.
Okay, this is my favourite one.
I live in a humid area and I have two kids.
So I just use dry shampoo and then get on with my day.
Okay, just as a disclaimer, this is not medical advice.
Please no one slap your vagina against a rock or hang it out the window
while you're driving down the highway.
You can hang it out a window if you want to.
And fucking please send us the video of that.
If you want to read some more of these comments or watch the video,
we'll put the link to this TikTok in the show notes
because it's fucking wild and it's great.
I mean, I'm telling you, there's 23,000 comments of pure gold here.
just bypass my tiktok on the way all right you go and follow our actual tiktok whilst you're at it
it's life uncut podcast okay but let's get into our favorite part of every episode and that is
accidentally unfiltered i have a truly disgusting one today and it's so great but it's so
so fucking wrong okay yes this literally just happened and i am actually deceased my boyfriend
and i were getting down to freaky town and well i guess you could say we had some inspo from
Laura's mantra pinky and the stinky yeah you did oh okay I'm glad that I inspired I love a bit of
anal play don't we all girlfriend anyway things were going great and the vibes were on and
suddenly he just stops I look down nervously expecting the worst and I see what I think is
a hemorrhoid on his finger I've never had the finger I think she thinks hemorrhoids can come
off because she wrote I've never had one and I don't even know if they dislodge okay so basically
I'm imagining that he's there and he's got a glob of something on his finger but it's not poo
she thinks it's a dislodged hemorrhoid so yeah she thinks it's a hemorrhoid and and she says
I panic he is also concerned and I'm asking if I have hemorrhoids and if he can then check
can you please check my bum hole do I have hemorrhoids he looks at his finger
and he holds up the hemorrhoid and he says babe this is a mushroom
i must have had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce not even it was like a fucking button
actually fucked my life apparently i hadn't chewed mushrooms i had for lunch earlier and
now i wish someone would eat me whole he had pulled his finger out of her bum hole and had
a mushroom on the end oh r.i.p i'm planning your funeral that or you've just got some fungus
growing inside you that you should probably get checked out fungus inside you does not come out
an entire whole mushroom with its with its stem and its cute little top ready to rumble i'm
expecting no stem i'm just expecting it was like a little hat on top of his finger
like a little plug oh my god like a little button mushroom i can't deal okay i'm not having
mushrooms tonight mushroom pasta is out the window it's off the menu for the next two weeks
all right i have an accidentally unfiltered of my own it's no that is this to be clear this is
did you do this i'm just reading it this is some this is a cooked thing that one of you did
No. I was having a lovely morning off. I had my coffee in bed scrolling on my phone and I thought
you know what I'm alone. I'm in the mood. So I decided to get out my bunny vibrator and just
have one out. Yeah rub one out girlfriend. You do it. Live your best life. Little did I remember
that I borrowed my future father-in-law's headphones the other day for a walk while I
listened to your amazing podcast. You can probably guess what happened. I may have been playing a
little bit of porn when the volume wasn't working so i turned the volume up a bit oh still no sound
my heart sank when i realized my phone had automatically connected to my partner's dad's
headphones while he was working from home in the office next door i switched my bluetooth off oh
my my literally my butthole just clenched itself because i'm so nervous for you you see how i'm
sitting too my whole body's in on itself i turned my bluetooth off immediately grabbed some shit for
work later the day and ran to my car i came out of the driveway to speed away only to realize i
left my work pass at home so i smashed out a u-turn hit the gutter it's popped a tire and now
i'm sitting in my partner's driveway as my tire slowly deflates i don't want to go into the house
but i have to ask for help fuck my life it's so fucking great it's just like a chain of unfortunate
events you really you're you're riding the roller coaster do you know what this is the first time
that this has happened with a father-in-law but i just want you to know that this is not the first
time that this type of thing has happened but this what makes this so bad is it's bad enough
that it's your father-in-law and you tried to escape and then like you could have just let it
go because you know the whole day work day goes past you come home and I just pretend it didn't
happen but you've got to go in now and ask him for help to change your tire like three minutes
after you ran out of the office because he heard you play porn and masturbate I just had a really
great orgasm and then I could have crashed my car all right the highs and lows all right let's get
into the chat with Jessica. We're going to be taking a deep dive today on all things swinging
and sex clubs and joining us on the podcast is Jessica Cattell. Jessica is the owner of the
Sydney sex club named Our Secret Spot. The club connects like-minded couples and singles so they
can explore their wildest fantasies such as BDSM, fetish, orgies, threesomes or foursomes.
Jess, welcome to Life Uncut.
Thank you.
I am so excited for this chat because I have never been to a sex club.
This is so wild and lays so far outside my seven-minute missionary sex that I'm having
at the moment.
Like, this is going to be as close as I get.
Seven minutes is a good time.
Do you know what?
It's not about a long time.
I'm here for a good time.
Do you know what, Jess?
As a very, very close friend of Laura, she's grossly exaggerating seven minutes.
Oh, excuse me.
Excuse me.
It's four.
It's four.
Now, Jess, we start every interview the same way. We want to know what is your most embarrassing
story, your accidentally unfiltered story. And I'm like very excited to hear what yours is.
See, mine's from a very long time ago because I was trying to rack my brain for something that
happened recently. But I think because I've been in such a work mode, I haven't really done anything
embarrassing. But this one happened at a bar when I was on a Tinder date. So this is back when I was
in an open relationship and I went out on a Tinder date and there was a cord loose, like a thread
loose on my skirt and I went to the bar to order drinks and as I've picked up the two drinks the
quarters got caught on a bit of the bar and I've walked back to my date and my whole skirt has come
undone like so you just had no skirt left pretty much I had a side split and it only had like the
tiny little bumper at the top holding it I feel like that's like a cartoon movie you know how
like the whole thing unravels like you don't think that that actually happens I never thought that
would happen either because it was like a leather skirt that I got from H&M and I was like this is
cool. It looks really sexy on and basically had to go for a quick shop at David Jones to get an
outfit because I couldn't walk around with my skirt. Jess, can you tell me for anyone who doesn't
know or maybe thinks they know, what is swinging? So swinging can be classified in a lot of different
ways. The broadest term for it is where you have a non-monogamous relationship with either
your partner involved or you do it separately. The base term that we do for swinging is that
you and your partner go to meet a couple or meet a single to amplify your life already so you just
mentioned in your accidentally unfiltered that you know this was a long time ago you were on a date
and you were in an open relationship is that something that you have always been in have you
always been in open relationships from the get-go like you've always been very sexually open and
sexually curious definitely sexually open and sexually curious I was only in the open relationship
with my ex with my current partner where what you'd more classify as swingers we call it like
monogamish where we basically play with the people that we want to choose to play with rather than
doing it separately but I definitely have always had that open sexuality and I've been very much
pursuing all sexual elements in my life because I'm a very curious creature so what was that like
at the beginning how were you first exposed to having an open relationship and how did you come
to that? And I'm maybe going back to your first one where that was the arrangement for your
relationship. How did that conversation come up? How did you discover it in the first place? Kind
of talk me through that phase of your life. Yeah. So this is, this is going to be a big
unravel. So my ex, who is also my business partner to my club, we, so when we opened the
club together, being club owners, you know, we were wanting to experience more new things within
the relationship. And because we were learning so much so quickly, we then came to the conclusion
that we wanted to have an open relationship while being together. So basically, I was in an open
relationship with him for about four or five years. So that meant, you know, I could go out on dates
by myself, I could have a boyfriend on the side, which is amicable and everything. So that's kind
of how it started. But I did find for me personally, that's a disconnect from my primary or from my
partner so with my current partner that's why we chose to go monogamy assure a swinging couple
I have some questions yeah I figured you would I feel like I mean I feel like you just brushed
over that like it was so normal but I want to just go back for one second because we've spoken
to people in open relationships in the past but we've never spoken to anyone that had a boyfriend
on the side it was always like you can go and do what you do but then you know there are rules you
come back to us you talk about it you can't see them a lot of the people we've spoken to you can
only see once like they could only go and see that one person once but you just said you had
a boyfriend on the side so like just for those you know some of us can't get a boyfriend full
stop let alone having one on the side how did that work and did you develop these feelings and I know
this isn't related to swinging but I think there's a lot of people that are going to be curious about
this how did having a boyfriend on the side work and was the boyfriend on the side happy to be
just the second side boyfriend yeah so originally I had two extra boyfriends on the side oh so three
that sounds exhausting it was exceptionally exhausting I thought one was enough but I think
this was my exploration stage where I wanted to see what I could handle emotionally and physically
look anything more than one I'm kind of happy like not having to deal with more than just one person
but at the time it was quite it was quite exciting because it's like you could have all these
different new fresh fun experiences but with different people and my at the time current
partner really understood that I was happy having these experiences and he also had several
girlfriends on the side as well so it was kind of we had this real good equal share timetable thing
but one of the boyfriends who I did start seeing while I was with my ex is now my current partner
yeah and this was something I wanted to ask you about because you said that you started to lose
that connection with your then ex so who was your business partner how do you navigate that process
when you have made the commitment to be in an open relationship that kind of the understanding
is that you're going to prioritize the original relationship how do you navigate dating other
people and recognizing that those feelings are completely changing because you're investing in
someone else? I think the best way that I, at least we handled it was that both of us pulled
back from our respective other partners. And we had these conversations with all the boyfriends
or girlfriends at the time and said, look, we're going to try and work on our primary. We're going
to try and work on this particular relationship and see if there's anything that we could find
left that was working for us. But I believed that we both amicably split. Like we're still,
we're still friends we see each other once a week at the club like we've been working together for
the two years since we've been separated completely fine because I think we realized we were giving so
much love to our business that we kind of separated from giving love to our primaries which is why I
think we both were seeking that open relationship how do you find I mean because it's pretty
specific right not every Joe Blow out there woman or man wants to be one of three or four
boyfriends or girlfriends so how do you find people that are happy to be in that situation
because I know like online dating for example very occasionally I'll see a profile that's like
hey there's two of us we're in a relationship looking for someone else but is that how you
find them or is there a place that you go where the whole community is people that are happy in
these situations so I guess the easiest way that like we as a couple find people would be at the
club but that's kind of just fortunate because we have that other avenues is kind of dating sites
there's one called red hot pie and they're based around the fact of like meeting singles and
couples and setting you up on like parties and dates other than that I think it helps being
quite confident and quite open about my relationship standing that you know when we go out
to regular bars we're kind of like this is how it is like what do you think about it and not being
afraid to sort of just ask because, I mean, you see everyone on dating sites saying, you know,
we're looking for the threesome, we're looking for that unicorn or that like person that we want to
play with. But there is so many avenues now for people to be able to find those extra people that
they want to enhance their relationship with. For you and your experience when you were younger and
maybe before you were dating your ex and you started The Secret Spot, which I want to get
into everything about the club itself. What was your experience with monogamy like and when did
you come to the understanding of like okay maybe monogamy is not for me so I started dating my ex
when I was 20 so I didn't really have a lot of that time period of being young and adventurous
but during the time before I met my ex I was very adamant that I didn't want to settle down I
wanted to explore I had very open communication with the two guys that I was actually seeing
before my ex like I wanted to make sure that nobody felt like I was just their sole partner
like I really wanted to explore everything that I could because it didn't feel like the person or
the people that I was with were the people that I wanted to settle down with so I wanted to be very
open and clear about exploring everything and that also led to me exploring girls as well because I
had that bi-curious feeling which later on led to me being bisexual. So when you started The Secret
Spot and you started dating your now partner what was originally the people around you's perception
of this? Because I think like, you know, you can be navigating, be so happy in your relationship
and whatever dynamic that is, but often it can be other people's perceptions of the way that
you live your life or the way that your relationship is unfolding. Did you find that
you had friends or family around you who were like, why? Or not understanding of the situation
set up? So I didn't tell my family for two years when we opened the club, being 20 and opening a
sex club was probably not in the books for my family but I did have it it would have probably
been a shock I mean still at 22 that was a big enough shock for them so I actually had a formal
sit down with my mum and my dad who were also separated at the time so getting them in the
same room was hard enough but getting them to have to understand I had opened this sex club was
even harder but all my friends were very very supportive so from the get-go my friends would
turn up to the club. So I was working for a retail company at the time when we opened the club
and the girls that worked with me, they would come to weekends. They would hang out with me at the
club. They would, you know, word of mouth. They were very, very supportive because I think we
built a friendship where if I needed help or they needed help, we were always going to be there for
each other. So, I mean, they're still friends of mine and they're still supporting the club and
the grips has grown more and more because everyone is such a supportive person, especially in this
lifestyle. And talk to me about the setup and the dynamic of the club because when I think of like
a sex club I guess my first mind is like I think of a nightclub but like I can't imagine that it's
exactly like a nightclub where you know is it obviously it's called the secret spot like talk
me through the setup of it how someone can come to the club how you vet people basically so that
you have the right community of people. Yeah so at OSS we rely quite heavily on Google because a lot
of people now being so fluid and so open to sexual exploration people now look up swinging or swingers
club through that we also have a website where you can pre-purchase your tickets online and we've
also made it through like social media in the community that this is such an acceptable thing
it's like hanging out at a nightclub and it's like you said it's what people think it's kind of like
a nightclub it literally does look like a nightclub like you come in to the venue and your first floor
has a pool table, it has a bar, it has a dance floor, it has a DJ, like that's your first initial
site. And it looks exactly like you would if you went to a nightclub in Sydney. It's only when you
start to venture upstairs or downstairs, that's where it kind of differs. And you're like, okay,
we're definitely not in a normal nightclub anymore. Is it a commercial space like it could
be a nightclub or is it a home that you have rented or own that you have changed into a nightclub vibe?
this particular one is a commercial space so it's a three-tiered level commercial space in annandale
so we have the middle floor or the ground floor which is what we call like your chatting or your
mingling section so designed like a nightclub and then you have your top floor which is like
your playrooms so you've got multiple private rooms where you can close the door and have a
little bit of intimate space we have a room where there's a two-way mirror so you can see in but
they can't see out. And then we have a big open group playroom, which I mean, you can imagine
there's multiple beds, so multiple orgies. And then you have your downstairs section, which is
lit up with a red hue to look like a red room. So it's our BDSM style space.
And with the frequency of it, so how often are the nights held? Like when people can buy tickets,
how frequently is it open? So we open every Friday, Saturday, and some Sundays,
but it's looking like we're opening every Sunday now because we've become so popular
which I'm very very grateful for but we now need to have a third night to put the overflow like we
sell out a week before every single event so I need to give people another night so it's turning
into three night a week I guess I want to ask how you vet people and when I say vet people I mean I
can only assume that not anyone can just go and say I'm purchasing a ticket I'm turning up and I
say that because obviously it's the kind of a thing where you do want to create a really safe
space and you do want to know who's coming and who's involved how do you go through that process
or how does somebody apply to get a ticket to the sex club so our vetting system for couples and for
single females is there's a like an event listing and then it basically explains what we expect
from you as the ticket purchase once those type of people turn up to the door we do also give them
another vetting system at the door so if they've got a bad attitude if they've not dressed to
impress like our biggest thing is that we're very inclusive of everyone however if you've come here
and you can see they're clearly having a fight or you know they've come out from a day at the beach
and they've come in their flongs and their shorts and stuff that's they're not going to be getting
in it's we want people who you know dress and feel sexy in themselves because that's how they're
going to have the best opportunity throughout the night when it comes to single men though we do have
a much more I guess stricter vetting policy just because we find and it's not all men but some men
use their bottom brain rather than their top brain so basically we have a vetting system where
they just need to let us know what their experience is and what they think they will be benefiting to
the club if they turn up and then we just get them to send a picture through. So if they do
get accepted, we know who they are and we know who they look like so that we get them to come
to it at night and then we show them around and give them all the rules. And what are some of
those rules? What does that look like in terms of like how you set up the spaces and in terms of how
you allow people to interact with each other? Our rules are pretty basic. We only really have three.
the rules are there's no phones allowed on the premise and if obviously you have a babysitter
or something we do have those exceptions and you can use that at the front desk space
if you come as a couple you stay as a couple we have found that some people try and be a bit
tricky and they come in with like some girl that they know and then they try and sneak out without
the girl and the only other rule is that we expect that everyone comes with a positive attitude and
that you know they're respecting everyone's boundaries so no means no consent is a hundred
percent the biggest thing for us and if somebody is feeling uncomfortable we want to be approached
like as a staff member so we can figure out the situation as quickly as possible so what's the
capacity how many people max can be there at one time because you've obviously got three floors a
few different rooms but i'm assuming you're you're capping that at a certain number yeah so we cap it
at 120 people per night I was not expecting you to say that many people yeah so we cap it at 120
but for our big party event so for Halloween for instance we've got 150 people booked in already
so it's quite a lot considering it's such a niche lifestyle but I mean it's I think thanks to COVID
we've become a lot more acceptable because people have spent that time locked down with their
partners and now they're like well I don't want to break this relationship I want to heighten my
relationship and I want to explore more so I'm going to try these venues and places that you
know I know are safe and sexy. For yourself and I think this is coming back to kind of the more
questions around how you navigate your monogamish relationship as you describe it I think like the
first thing for someone who's like truly monogamous who's never tried an open relationship like I
would say that's very much me my very first thought is I would get jealous or they would
get jealous. How do you mitigate jealousy in your relationship now? So I find when it comes to
jealousy, because that's something that happens with everyone, whether you've been doing this for
10 years or two months, jealousy is always going to be something that will come up. It's the
communication that you have between your partner and how you navigate out of that. So it could be
as simple as, you know, I'm feeling insecure in myself today because I don't, you know, feel very
sexy in my lingerie or I'm having a down moment or I'm bloated or you know my hair is not doing
the thing that I want it to do it's having that open communication and making sure that you and
your partner stay at the same level working towards both of you having a good time in this
relationship rather than I'm here to have sex and fuck as many people as I want because if you're
doing that you're not technically coming in as a swinger you're coming in as somebody who is a
single, wanting to have sex with other people. And Jess, do you just work at the club now?
Obviously you're the owner, obviously you're there as a staff member, but do you just work
there or do you also participate every weekend? So I very much avoid participating while I work
solely because it's just too difficult to manage. A, trying to manage my staff, trying to manage
being there, trying to manage the other people's expectations and customers. But also B, I think
because it is a venue where I'm there to make people's experience better.
I don't particularly want to get involved in that
because I want them to have that exploration on themselves.
But 90% of the time when me and my partner now do play,
it's generally in my own home because I also like,
I do love my work and I absolutely adore what Our Secrets Rock
brings to the community, but it kind of feels like my work
and not many people want to fuck at the work.
But a lot of people have.
Jess, can you tell me like in terms of how My Secret Spot runs from like a legal perspective,
is it something that is completely above board? Is it something that you have to get special
permits for? Like how did you start this process, especially being 20 years old and going,
I'm going to start a nightclub. What does that all look like? And how do I actually get those
procedures in place? So originally we had a club in Darlinghurst and we had that for the six years
before we opened up Annandale and the DA process was probably the hardest thing I've ever had to
go through and I am currently doing the second DA as well for OSS Annandale and that was equally
as hard so essentially all sex clubs whether that be a brothel a strip club a titty bar they all
have a sex on premise license in a different category we're a separate category from a brothel
and a strip club but we are a legalized club that allows people to come in and have sex do you ever
have parties where and I know there'll be people out there wondering myself definitely included do
you ever have parties where you can have a level of anonymity in terms of maybe it's a masquerade
party Brittany's like I want to go but I don't want people to know it's me genuinely because I
think there'd be a lot of people out there that would be like far out I would love to try that
but I don't want people to see who I am or maybe I'll know somebody I feel like there'd be a lot
of people that would have that feeling I can tell you we do have a masquerade event every single
month we do have like a list celebrities who pop in and say hello and have a little squizzy and a
lot of that time as well because people are there for the same thing a lot of secrecy and a lot of
confidentiality is held across all customers because a you're going to a sex club and that's
probably daunting enough but b you're all there for the same thing so why ruin a good thing by
spreading gossip and saying stuff about other people because it also leads to questions of
other people being like, well, why were you at the sex club? And, you know, for a lot of people,
they don't divulge this information to their friends. It's more like their secret naughty
little adult secret that they keep between their partners. The events that they do particularly
come to are what we call a private event. So they're either listed, they're listed on our
website as private events because they're held by other event organizers. So it's still something
that we hold at the club it's just a different style of event but I do find the ones that are
coming they're probably more sexually proactive in the way that they are anyway so it's not
I guess as daunting like it wouldn't be a tv presenter where they're like oh if somebody
found me here they'd be like hey you're from channel seven and it's like oh shit it'd be more
like you know you're sexologists or people who are very proactive already in the sex community
In terms of like all the things that you've experienced over the last couple of years,
what have been some of the wildest nights or the wildest things that you have been witness to
that you go like, this is what I do for a living. Like this is my Friday, Saturday,
Sunday night. What's something that you have seen yourself and being like, cool.
Look, there's been multiple moments. Probably my last one where I stood back and I was like,
fuck I created this shit it was pretty much I stood back and I was like yeah I did this this
is fucked basically so we've got the big group room orgy room we had probably 120 130 people
on that night there was about 60 or 70 people all trying to get onto the same two beds and it
literally just looked like a pile of like humans just interactionally everywhere and I was like
what the hell but every single person had found a limb had found a body part had found something
they wanted to get in on and they were making the jigsaw work and I was like yeah okay cool
this works I created this sex mountain yeah I'm responsible for this so when it comes like the
orgy rooms what are the rules around partaking in an orgy like I mean what if say for example
you are so happy with having group sex but there's one particular person or someone that you don't
want to be having sex with in that environment. If you're in an orgy room, is it kind of like a
bit of free-for-all or is there still rules that can play out and you can still pick and choose
who you want to have sex with in that environment? So we definitely avoid telling people it's a
free-for-all just because we do instill the fact that consent is very, very important for us and
it should be carried out throughout everyone's experience. So say obviously your instance where
nine people in the playroom that you want to play with, there's that one person that you don't,
the best way that we always say go about it is to have that open communication and say hey
I don't want you to be interacting with me however you're welcome to interact with everyone else
and it is really not uncommon for people to say no in the middle of a situation be like
no that's not what I want to do like it seems weird because it's like if you haven't had that
experience before it's very daunting to be like no I don't want to play with you because you
automatically go into no I want to please somebody I want to be as nice as possible I want to be that
nice person but we try and make sure and we do this thing on a newbies night where we have a
conversation with all our newbies to tell them that no is very common like no is super acceptable
it could be one week he wanted to play with this guy and then the week after it's a no like it
doesn't matter what the reasoning behind it is as long as they respect and understand that no
then everything's going to be fine and swingers are very respectful of that when you talk about
the playroom what are the kind of things that are in there like are there sex swings are there
like paddles or the things that you can go and interact with experience and adventure a little
bit yeah that you can like you can go with someone that you might not have used and said hey do you
want to go and use the paddle yeah so upstairs in the playrooms we don't have anything creative
or bdsm style in the two-way mirror room where it's a voyeur room we do have a sex sling so it's
a leather bound sex kind of slinky swing and that's kind of used in that space because it's
smaller and it's a bit more of a voyeuristic thing that you want to try but you also kind of want to
try that in private with having people see but we do have all the like BDSM basic toys so your
whips your paddles anything external BDSM we don't offer anything internal so we don't give out
vibrators or anything because that's a lot of hygienically cleaning and it does take a lot on
us to have to look after those but they're all found downstairs in the BDSM room and in the
for your room is there like a piece of paper outside you know when you're waiting for a sauna
you gotta like write your name down like a wait list or for a restaurant or do you have to book
it are there only two people allowed in there at once are multiple people allowed in how does that
work so definitely as many as you can fit it's completely up to the people inside I've seen a
girl with three guys around her and she's being swung back and forth so it's it's up to you as
how you choose to use the room but I do find couples are pretty good at knowing when it's time
in the room like we don't have a set list where it's like I'd like to secure this private room
for this amount of time people are very conscious that there's 120 of you trying to interact and
trying to play in that particular space so they're very conscious of making sure that they don't use
up the space for too long. Can you tell me Jess in your experiences like what benefits has swinging
or having an open relationship had on your core relationship? So I've definitely found because of
swinging it's opened up my communication channel much better. I mean I've always been fairly good
at communicating however I feel like now I can communicate in a way where even if it's going to
make me feel awkward and like uncomfortable and potentially upset I'm still willing to have that
conversation because I can see the importance of making sure we're both on the same page
or at least having that bridge to be set so we can see where we're going forward what does somebody
wear in the when they come to the sex club obviously you said earlier that you need to
dress up really well you need to look up you know you need to look the part but when you get in
and you're on this ground level so there's a pool table there's a bar is it like a strip off being
your lingerie be ready for like sex clubby or can you just like mingle around in your clothes if you
want to and literally not do anything a bit of both to be honest some events like our lingerie
delight night requires you to have that dress down element but your newbie night most people
just wear their sexy cocktail dress or their suit or something that they normally wear out to a
cocktail bar and then when they're feeling a bit more frisky that's when they kind of strip down
to their lingerie but lingerie has become such a big industry and such a accepted industry that
people now even wear lingerie out in public over like a sheer blouse or they have it as their bra
as their top so I think people are a lot more confident in just stripping down into their
lingerie and it's such a wonderful feeling when you see and also being a female to dress down
and have people be like oh my god you look amazing in that outfit because not only getting the
affirmation that you look incredible in that lingerie but it also heightens you feeling sexier
so then your sexual experience with inside the club is going to be better have you noticed as
well i mean i'm sure you're fully aware of it but i'm interested in knowing what impact it's had on
your experience and also on your club and the volume of people that you've had but there has
been this real renaissance especially across social media when it comes to sex positive
conversations, when it comes to having conversations around open relationships. I feel like
five years ago, six years ago, it was still something that was very frowned on. Have you
found that that's had a huge impact on not just your club and the amount of people that are coming,
but on the public perception around what you do? Oh, a hundred percent. I can remember back five
years ago when we were going on TV on channel seven or channel 10 to sit there and talk about
our sex club and how much like backlash I was getting and the fact that I'm you know this young
20 year old who's opened a sex club doesn't know what she's talking about or I've been manipulated
into such a bad sex industry and it's like well no this is this is benefiting me as a person and
I want people to see that and I am so grateful for the fact that social media like with OnlyFans
as well like the fact that people can be so liberated and be using different social media
avenues to show this off it's 100% made it so much more acceptable and so much better for the
lifestyle because now people are more more understanding but also more explorative because
they want to try things that you know people used to read sexy novels and be like oh that was my
dirty little thing for the day whereas now they're like I come in and they're like we just want a
voyeur we just want to come in and see people interacting with each other and then they go
home and fuck like bunnies because they're like oh my god did you just see that it's live porn
and it's like those things are now becoming so much more acceptable and especially with the
movement of being gender fluid being bisexual pansexual all of this has now become such a better
way for people to understand themselves and also explore themselves have you ever had to remove
anyone from the situation have you ever had to kick anyone out of the club not kick them out
We've had to order them a taxi, but that's only because of intoxication.
Yeah, taxi.
Yeah, I found people aren't very naughty in the non-naughty sort of sense.
People pretty much behave because how are you going to tell somebody off
or at least arc up at somebody when you're butt naked?
So, like, I'm the one that's fully clothed and I'm telling you what to do.
I'm less likely to get backlash because your balls and your dick are in my face.
And what is the average, if you have one,
and I'm not going to say what you think I'm going to say. What is the average demographic? Is it
broad enough that you get everyone from 20 to 60? Do you have an age cap? Do you find that it's like
30 seems to be your average age? So we find mid 30s to mid 40s is our predominant age group
average. However, we do obviously get either side of that spectrum. We do find we get a lot of white
collared professionals. So people who have those expendable funds, because I mean, as much as it's
probably a cheaper night than going out to a nightclub it's still money that you're putting
towards something else which is probably not your normal so it's like pretty much the same price as
purchasing a concert ticket sometimes so we do find that people that are coming have that
expendable funds a lot of them are either being together in a relationship for at least a couple
years and looking to explore or surprisingly enough we get quite a lot of new parents or
people who have children who are kind of young and you know they can they want to have this as
their one night off rather than going to a nightclub and getting drunk they want to have a
sexual reigniting their relationship so they come to OSS instead. What would be your advice for
anyone who's wanting to trial it or who's thinking that maybe they might be interested in going to a
sex club but they're too nervous or they don't have friends to go with whatever that looks like
for them what would be your advice to someone who would be class on class a newbie? So my advice
would be definitely have a conversation with your partner first we do find there's always an
initiator in the relationship and with that the initiator generally has had more time to think
about it so when you do approach your partner about talking about coming remember that you
might have had two months to think about it so you need to give them the two months to think about it
and then once you guys have come to a conclusion where you're comfortable in coming
I always highly recommend our newbie nights or any sort of event where you know there's going
to be people similar to your level because the best thing that happens is when you have 60 newbies
together you all kind of congregate together and because you can all relate to each other your
experience is so much better because you go oh my god did you see that and they'd be like yeah we
saw that how crazy is that because they get to have that back and fro whereas a regular couple
might have their filters on and may not recognize what's happening so they're not as in tune to like
two couples making out or something you know for a newbie that's oh my god that's can you believe
that and what is a ticket price for anyone out there that's wanting to maybe investigate they
probably like oh you know like I don't give us all the details I don't know if I can afford that
like is it ludicrously expensive it's acceptable for everyone and that's the way that we will
continue to keep it. So it's $145 for a ticket for a couple and it is BYO. So you bring your
own alcohol. So basically you probably spend like $50 to $60 on a bottle of spirits and we look
after all the rest. So for a night out, it's fairly cheap. Single prices are varied because
it's depending on what type of event it is and what type of single you are. But normally you
won't be spending over $145 to $160 per ticket. And last question, and it is something that you
mentioned at the beginning of the chat you mentioned the term unicorn what I mean we all
know what a unicorn is a mythical creature with a horn what is a unicorn in relation to sex club
and swinging so a unicorn in swinging means a single female that couples or other singles would
like to secure and find to play with for some reason swingers back in the days seem to have
an issue with finding single females we most certainly do not in the club single females we
get about 10 of them every event so I think it's just most couples are so comfortable with
allowing a single female into their relationship to play with that they've called that their
mythical creature the unicorn okay there we go there you have it Jess thank you so much for
joining the podcast it's truly like a world that I think for so many people it's just such a foreign
world, but it is so interesting because, you know, from us on the outside, like even just having
these conversations with you is a level of voyeurism for us, but we love your openness.
We love like, even I think defying your age demographic, defying everything that you would
typically think. And I think that that's why some people find it intimidating that you are this
like beautiful young woman who has all the agency of choice. Like you are doing this because you
love it and because you want to do it, not because you've ever been forced into or coerced into
having this lifestyle. And I think to be able to advocate for the parts of it and how that it has
improved your life in different ways is something really, really incredible to listen to. So thank
you for sharing your story. Oh, my absolute pleasure. Thank you so much. And if you see
someone there with a mask on, not on masquerade night, it's not me. No, thank you so much, Jess.
My pleasure. Well, you know, we never finish an episode without our suck and our sweet,
our highlight and our lowlight of the week. I'm going to kick this bad boy off with my suck.
my suck is I ordered last week two pairs of shoes online for my sister's weddings plural because
she's having the two and I was waiting went to the mailbox waiting waiting waiting they didn't come
and I then got an email saying oh we have we're very busy right now so all of our orders are
taking like an extra week meaning I got left with no shoes for the wedding so that was cute so I
just had to rush in super last minute I literally went into a store I haven't tried them on I bought
three pairs of shoes took them home and i'm just going to work out what works and then i will
probably end up not being returning them ever and keeping them three pairs problem solved okay my
suite is definitely the live show i think that's an easy one i'm going to assume that you have the
same suite this week you guys are just incredible human beings and so many people have written in
asking us to come to your city and we're we're gonna try and plan it we've had people from
sweden amsterdam the netherlands us uk i didn't know we had so many international listeners it's
I mean, like I know that they're out there and it's growing,
but when you guys write and say come to our country,
to me I just – I got goosebumps and it just blew my mind.
I mean, to be fair, we might go to Sweden
and that one single person will come to the show.
I reckon it'll still be great.
I reckon it'll be three, three max.
We could do it at the local park.
We're not going overseas.
We are thinking though next year that we will do some more shows
around the country about like, you know, stay tuned,
follow TikTok, we'll tell you when that's all happening.
Okay, my suck for the week.
I have a couple of highlights, so I'll tell you my low light.
we did the live stream of the live show across Instagram. We were supposed to do the live stream
across TikTok as well. And literally just before we were about to go live, we got banned from TikTok
from doing a live stream. Now, the reason why we got banned, I think partially is because Matt made
a joke, which was- I don't think it's partially. This was why we got banned. Let's just call it
spade to spade. So we were on a live stream. Basically like the way that TikTok's algorithm
them works is like, if you, you can only broadcast a live stream, like a big live screen that goes
through a separate third party, which is what we did for our live stream. If you've already been
live for more than 25 minutes the week prior, and we had not done that. So we didn't know that they
were the rules. So literally the day of the live show, we were like, fuck it, let's go live now.
We'll quickly get our 25 minutes in and then we'll be able to broadcast it across TikTok.
So we, we did it. We went live, we were at 20 minutes and then Matt made a joke and said,
if we get to a thousand people on the live stream i'll get my cock out now he absolutely why we
were banned he absolutely was not going to get his cock out uh it was a terrible terrible joke
that he made a terrible ill-timed joke and somebody watching decided to report our live
stream for fear of maddie j's nudity they said i we can't possibly think of the children well
That's a scary thought, isn't it?
So our TikTok got banned on the night of the live show because Matt made a really dumb joke
and we all laughed about it, but also it was very annoying.
This is like two minutes before we're going live.
And we, at the time we were like, do you know what?
We just can't even be worried about this last night.
So we did still stream the live show.
It was amazing.
It was all done on Instagram, but TikTok missed out on that great content.
And unfortunately no one saw Maddie J's penis.
But my highlights for the week, live show, so obvious.
Like that is not even a question.
That was absolutely the most amazing thing ever.
but then I had two other really fun things happen this week I went for my wedding dress fitting
which was I thought it was going to be my final dress fitting but there's a few changes so
exciting but also nerve-wracking and then on Sunday night I got to host the project which
for me was like a real career highlight so how cool was that very exciting so that is it guys
that is my my highlights and my lowlights okay you had a few there yeah I cheated it was a really
good week okay my other sweet was my sister's wedding sorry I have heaps as well no it's my
sister's wedding it's just hard to say it's my sweet because we're recording this slightly like
well the two days before the wedding it hasn't actually happened but I know it will be my sweet
but you know that your sister's sweet is actually it's next week's sweet it goes into next week's
episode because it hasn't happened yet it's next week okay well it literally happens next week okay
well you guys ahead of time you know what my sweet is actually oh my god I have one more oh
fuck all right here we go okay my other sweet was we had a clairvoyant coming to the radio station
last week and uh is she really a clairvoyant well i'm getting a husband and having twins on a yacht
so yes i'm gonna say that it's true anyway talk about manifestation no but she told me that i was
gonna get a husband which is very exciting news in britney's world in one year's time she had a
spirit visit her in the studio that said in one year i'm gonna meet a man that's tanned with dark
hair which is my vibe and he's gonna be on a boat which i have sort of exaggerated that too it's his
boats not just anyone's he has a boat give or take oh no i might be bending the truth here
and uh we're gonna have twins so i'm here for that so i just gotta wait one more year unfortunately
to know if it's even true can you i just want to say this brit please don't limit your dating
options to a guy in a blue shirt that's on a boat or we might be waiting all right that is it from
us guys thank you to everyone again who came to the live show who has bought we love love the book
thanks for listening and you know the drill tell your mom tell your dad tell your dog tell your
friends and share the love because we love love
I'll be right back.
