Hi guys and welcome back to another episode of Life Uncut. I'm Brittany. I'm Laura. I'm Mitch.
And this is the best episode of the week where we package up all of the radio show,
the best parts, and we give it to you in one neat little spot so you don't have to go through the
whole thing. Did that feel good? It felt good, yeah. Laura never lets me do that part. I don't
I would never not let you.
I just always start.
And so Britt was like, I'm doing it.
I'm going in.
I'm raw dogging it today.
You were great.
That's exactly what happened.
Thanks, Mitch.
Can I do it next week?
It's my last one next week.
Yeah, you can do it.
You can raw dog it next week.
It's my last week here with you guys next week.
Mitch, we don't want to talk about it.
You can also, you can raw dog too, Mitch.
We'll let you.
Mitch raw dogs anyway.
I've been raw dogging a while.
Well.
That's the only way you do it.
You're right.
I left you condoms when you house sat my house.
Remember?
Mitch and his boyfriend, Stephen,
sat at my house for a while when I went away
and I left him condoms that were still unopened when you got back.
Well, that's fine.
They don't need to use condoms.
No, I'm just saying that's how I know we raw dogs.
There's no need for us to wear condoms.
And you're not pregnant.
Not for like a try.
All right, big show this week.
It really is.
But I shared a story about Marley.
We are going through a breakup currently
and we're never, ever, ever getting back together.
I'm not sure whether it's because she's been listening
to too much Taylor Swift or whether it's because I'm a terrible mother, but time will tell.
That will come out with the therapy I pay for when she's older.
Well, I found a study this week that just confirms the fact that I can,
in fact, call my future children after my dog.
Do you have to wait until Delilah is not here anymore?
I think that that is the loose, unofficial rule.
I don't think you should call your kids a dog name if the dog is still in the house.
I'm still going to, I'm going to argue this point.
It's very efficient.
You call all your kids Buster.
That's fine.
Yeah.
Usually I just call my kids by the wrong names,
like Lola's Marley and Marley's Lola and Buster's Lola.
I don't know.
Anyway, I'm at that point of parenting.
And Mitch, what did you do this week?
This week I learnt to do something at the ripe old age of 29
that I really think I should have learnt at this point in my life.
That's wonderful.
And you know we're here to always support you.
Thanks, girls.
No matter what you do or where you choose to live
or what you choose to do with your life.
Don't start crying again.
What did you learn exactly?
It was me.
Personal hygiene?
No, I'm across that very recently, but I'm really enjoying it.
Well done.
We're proud of you.
I learnt something on a farm.
Oh.
Yeah.
Propagation.
Plantation.
Fertilisation.
I don't know.
Back to anal sex, huh?
Enjoy the show.
How do you feel working with me, knowing that I'm a 29-year-old who now, as of yesterday,
can drive a manual car?
Yay!
I'm so proud of you, Mitch.
Yeah.
It's a really big achievement in life.
I learnt.
I think a lot of people actually can't drive manuals.
I don't think it's as, I don't want you to feel alone, you know, in that.
Well, it's because there's not really a need to learn in a manual car anymore.
Like when Britt and I learned how to drive, my mum only had a manual car
and then I only drove a manual car.
Yeah, we only drove manuals too.
And to me, the thought of an automatic was like so, I was like, wow.
Also, only rich people have automatic cars.
Yes, I was about to say manuals are cheaper to buy.
Okay, well now you're aging yourself.
And now only farm people have manual cars.
People who live in the country.
Yeah, so I was out on the country at a town called Bogangay,
which is a real country town.
any regional australian listeners i have such a respect for farming now because i spent a full
weekend with one of my best friends mitchell coombs on his farm in bogan gate he might know
him he's quite well known from the area anyway he got me to do a whole bunch of farm tasks
one of which was to drive around the the ute which is a manual so we get in and i go oh i i don't know
how to drive this and he was shocked you little city slicker i'm a city boy you're a wealthy city
boy there is a bit of um coordination that's required like putting in the clutch in order
to change the gears.
My sister, on her very, very first driving lesson ever
with my mum in the car, she didn't quite get the coordination
of the clutch and the acceleration correct and then she accidentally
hit the acceleration instead of the brake and she went straight
into a telegraph pole on her first day of learning to drive.
My favourite thing used to be to, I don't want to brag,
but I was pretty good at it, at riding the clutch,
but my favourite thing to do on a hill and not use a handbrake,
I could just like gently tap constantly between accelerating and clutch
so I could go forward a few mils constantly
and just pivot in the same spot.
It was really difficult.
Only the top 2% of elite manual drivers could do it.
Do you whip that out on dates?
Like you had that whole script prepared
and you had hand movements of riding the clutch.
I feel like every mechanic who's ever had to deal with like a blown out clutch
is listening to that being like a great way of ruining your car.
I mean, I was 17.
Great way of exploding the clutch.
Here we go.
I recorded it all for the pickup.
This is me learning to drive manual.
Ready? Roll it.
Put the clutch in for me.
Yep.
First gears up to the side.
Oh, stalled it.
Straight away?
Yeah, you weren't revving enough.
F***ing.
Pick up where we left off.
Accelerate.
Now hold it in, the accelerator.
Okay, you're nearly stalled.
That's good.
What's that beeping?
Oh, the handbrake.
I didn't do my checks.
Okay, stop, stop, stop.
Oh, stalled it.
But I'm just checking if there was a car coming.
Are we bogged?
Don't.
Okay.
Even joke.
Clutch in, put it in neutral.
All right, we're back.
We're back.
Let's keep accelerating while you release.
Ah, he did it.
Yeah.
All right, should I go to fifth?
Go on, give it a go.
Oh, hey, he made it to fifth, Keith.
See, I can do it now.
I learned it late in life.
Nothing can stop you guys.
I'm not going to tease you for this because I learned how to ride a bike really late.
Like I didn't know.
How old?
Like 13, 14.
That's not bad.
That's okay.
The last time I rode a bike, I broke my arm.
So I'm not actually someone who's like proficient in bike riding.
I'd love, if you're listening, what did you learn late in life?
Call us up because I feel like it's more common than you think.
People learn late hobbies.
My Alma learned how to do pottery at the age of 80.
Yeah, that is fine.
That's not a normal skill.
I think it's important to constantly be educated,
educating yourself and learning and doing new things.
Always.
I just started basketball.
Kayleigh, hey, what did you learn late in life, you've called?
I'm still learning how to tie my shoelaces without bunny ears.
How old are you?
28.
Oh, and you still have bunny ears.
That's okay.
You can do a little cute little bunny ears.
I have bunny ears too.
What's the other option?
No, the swoop.
Loop and swoop.
No, I do bunny ears.
You do two bunny ears, you tie them around each other
and that's how you tie your shoelaces.
No, you don't.
Okay, but every time you tie your laces and you do the bunny ears,
do you think to yourself, I'm doing bunny ears?
Every time I go to a shoe shop and I have to tie the shoelaces,
I like try and hide it from the person working there
because it's embarrassing.
What about, does anyone else get their lefts and their rights confused?
Every so often I have to hold up my left hand.
That's how I remember.
I do not.
That's not me.
Okay, just me.
Oh, and also producer Grace.
Yeah, it doesn't surprise me from you two.
Megan, hey, what did you learn late in life?
Okay, so this is really embarrassing, but I'm 34
and I only just found out that dinosaurs were real.
No, you didn't.
What?
No.
Where were you at school?
I mean, we went to the museum and I remember seeing, like, the dinosaurs,
but I just thought it was from Jurassic Park
and that everything in movies was real, so I just...
You genuinely thought dinosaurs were a made-up fictitious thing
and that someone had created fake bones
and it was a whole elaborate fake thing?
Yeah.
That's wow.
Is that a baby I hear in the background?
You've reproduced.
Yeah.
Oh, dear.
She's learning faster than I am.
Let's pray to God.
Let's really hope.
Bitch, be nice.
I'm just teasing, Megan.
What did you eat that you shouldn't have?
Now, the reason that this has come up is because there's a teacher in the US
who accidentally fed most of her class,
so nearly a dozen students, beef-flavoured dog treats.
How did you accidentally do that?
This is the question, right?
So she thought it was beef jerky.
She gave it to the class like a little sweet beef jerky treat like to 12 students.
One of them ended up in hospital with a stomach ache.
A lot of them ended up pretty sick.
But then all these parents are outraged because they're like,
how on earth did a teacher manage to make such a mistake
that she didn't see a dog on the front of the packet
and she managed to feed it to the kids?
But also, why is she feeding the kids beef jerky anyway?
It's such a weird treat.
I get that you got it mixed up.
But who is taking beef jerky?
I know what the kids at school are going to want today, some jerky.
Are you allowed to bring treats to school?
Well, I've got it here.
It was actually a class party, so they were all celebrating end of term.
Imagine just bringing beef jerky to a party.
That's what your treat is.
I've got the article.
They were actually quite sick.
Like some kids were sick and they were worried about allergies
because kids have allergies and there could have been preservatives
or ingredients in these dog treats that could have upset the kids.
Nah, how sick could you be after eating just like a tiny bit?
It's still just jerky, right?
Kids can't have peanut butter sandwiches at school,
let alone eating a schmacko at recess.
we've had some listeners write into the pickup on socials kayla says i want you to fish flakes
to season chicken at a dinner party and one of the guests asks for the recipe when you say fish
flakes you mean fish food yeah like the flakes that you give a fish yeah but you can actually
get fish flakes which are proper like you know like stuff you're using your cooking oh no well
these aren't no this isn't this is food that you give a goldfish oh eliza's written in my mom put
puppy milk in her cup of tea yuck that's not why do you have puppy yeah dog yeah but it's not a
milked dog oh i thought they milked the mom bell says i was at a school camp and thought it was a
bowl of yogurt had a big scoop but it was just hollandaise sauce oh yeah do you know what i just
remembered when i first started dating my fiance ben he's swiss and i had gone over to stay with
him and it was like i was you know when you're really nervous you want to impress someone and
you just don't want to complain about things he was at work and he had messaged me and he said
babe eat whatever you want in the fridge and i said oh there's some cheeses in here because swiss
love cheese can I eat them and he was like yeah they're not open but that's okay like we'll we'll
eat them eat whatever you want so I picked a block of Swiss cheese it's all in Swiss opened it it
was big and expensive and I started to eat it and it was so disgusting but he had told me they're
all Swiss delicacies then I felt bad because they cost so much so I kept eating it because I was
like I didn't want to open it for just the tiniest bit then I had the worst stomach pain later on
that night like I was so unwell he was like what did you eat today and I told him I was like well
I ate a bunch of cheese and he showed me the cheese
and I couldn't read it because it was Swiss,
but it's like the equivalent of eating a raw block of halloumi.
It's the kind of cheese that you can only eat cooked.
But I couldn't read that.
So I ate a block of raw cheese.
At least it's still human food.
Yeah, but you can't eat that.
There's another person who wrote in and they put cat food
into their pasta sauce because it had too much pseudofed.
Nikki is cold as hell.
Hey, Nikki, what did you eat that you weren't supposed to eat?
Hi.
Oh, a piece of cat poo.
Yeah, you're not supposed to eat that.
How do you eat a poo?
Well, I was sitting on the couch.
I'd had a long day at work.
I was waitressing at the time and relaxing
and we had some brownie left over from a function
and I was just kind of sitting there and eating my brownie
and I was like, oh, I've dropped a little bit in the house.
Oh, wow, wow.
And I picked it up and I put it in my mouth
and took a, like, I chewed on it.
I feel so sick.
And straight away realised it wasn't actually the brownie
and spat it out and I was like, oh, my gosh, that's like a cat poo.
Like I had this furry Persian cat that used to have like dags
on its butt all the time and it was a cat poo dag.
It wasn't even a fresh poo, it was a dag.
It's just not possible.
Well, clearly.
It looks like chocolate.
No, it does.
I honestly don't even know where to go from here.
That is the most vile thing I've ever heard on this show.
I think we go on a break.
That's where we go.
I feel physically sick.
I think we probably need to end that moment.
But people do it as an accident, so clearly she didn't mean to.
No, of course she didn't go, that's yummy.
Give me another one.
Give me a dag.
Come here, kitty.
Where are the bag of these things?
I think they're looking good.
Bag of dags.
These pods have got a new feeling.
Hey, I want to talk baby names to you guys today.
I feel like it's something that all my friends are talking about at the moment.
It's probably something that I'm looking at a lot because I'm baby-making age.
Do people keep baby names before they're actually having babies?
I've got baby names.
Yeah, people write down.
Do you, Mitch?
Yeah.
What's top of your list?
I like Cleo for a girl.
Oh, I like Cleo too.
Like Cleopatra or just Cleo?
Just Cleo, but Cleopatra's very dramatic.
It is, but you like the drama.
He went to acting school and stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
This TikToker, I didn't know this was a thing,
but she is a baby name consultant.
Why do you need a consultant for a baby name?
Well, apparently you do.
Let's not yuck her job, but this is her full-time job
and she says there is one particular trend that is happening
that she's getting a lot of hate for online.
Have a listen.
One of the most common name insults I see in comments and DMs
is that's a dog name.
Guys, dog names are in, okay?
Like that's a compliment now.
That is so funny because, Mitch, I literally had to bite my tongue.
Cleo was my first dog's name and he was a proper Spaniel named Cleo.
Get he.
Yeah, I mean we're very gender, you know, neutral here in this whole place.
But yeah, Cleo, Cleo's a boy.
I'm excited by this trend because you guys might remember
I asked a couple of months ago if I could call my kid
after an old dog that I had and it was mixed response.
What was your dog's name again?
Nala.
Yeah, that's fine.
But Nala's named after a lion.
Yeah, Nala's a very lioness.
Yeah, but it was my dog that looked like a lion.
And what if this kid...
Because it was a lassie.
I feel sorry for all the kids out there at the moment
that are going to grow up to be adults because some names
are really cute on little kids but then when you think
about them as an adult, you're like, oh, I don't know.
Okay, Molly Mae.
Is Nala going to be a lawyer?
Maybe, maybe not.
Nala, she's going to be a boss.
My favorite part was the comment section on that TikTok though.
It was so funny.
Someone commented saying, my son's name is Samson.
It's definitely a dog's name, but I don't care.
It's also a biblical name.
It's a name of a person in a Bible.
So it's actually a person's name first.
You're right.
So some of the names, let me read you some.
So Charlie, Daisy, Ruby, Sadie.
I think they're all human names.
Human.
All of them are human names.
Okay.
Bear, Banjo and Blue.
Oh, three cocker spaniels.
Bear is my nephew.
Bear is also a giant animal.
I'm pretty sure they're all characters on Bluey.
All of them.
My nephew is a giant.
He's the biggest two-year-old you've ever seen.
Yeah, but you can't say that's my nephew's name because his name is Bear.
Yeah, Bear.
Laura's got a friend called Falcon.
We're not going to start defending his name, saying that's a human name.
That's a bird.
It is a bird.
Falcon is the only Falcon.
Your friend Falcon is the only Falcon, to be fair, I've ever met in my life.
But it suits him.
Yeah, I mean, he did change his name.
Never used to be Falcon.
It was Carlos.
and he thought that was too common, so he changed it to Falcon.
Oh, so it's not real?
No, it's illegally his name.
He chose it.
That is the most Falcon thing I've ever,
knowing that man, changing his own name from Carlos to Falcon Fitz.
He's the best.
We love you, Falcon.
He listens every day too.
Hi, Falx.
Okay, Cooper, Maverick, Duke.
Fine.
Nah, it does.
Maverick?
Maverick's a bit hectic for a person.
Duke is 100% Alsatian.
I think Maverick is just very American.
Okay, I'm sorry.
These are a no.
Beethoven, Snoopy, and Rufus.
imagine calling your kid Beethoven I mean that also was a person we caught a bit of criticism
when um when I named my daughter Marley because at the time there was a really big movie Marley
and Me so everyone was like that is a dog's name like that is could not be more of a dog's name
if there's a literal dog movie named Marley and Me I mean like sorry Scooby-Doo and Toto are on
the list is someone's calling or thinking of calling their kids Scooby-Doo our producer
Grace is saying are they not that that was just a list of dog names I put together this
okay so no one's called Scooby-Doo I am I think it's fine I think dog names in Lola I met a Lola
dog the other day and my little three-year-old was there at the same time and she patted the
Lola and I was like isn't this just so cute full circle I my dog's name is Delilah love of my life
I love the name so much I almost wish I didn't call my dog Delilah so I could call my daughter
a Delilah. But I don't think you can call
a kid a dog name if that
animal is still with us. No. I disagree.
I think it's fine. It's got to be deceased.
You can't have Delilah and Delilah.
If I have a little boy, I'm for sure calling it Buster.
Buster the second.
Because the first one is the dog.
While you still have Buster. Fine.
Not fine. You're so cooked.
Sometimes I worry about Laura.
Buster's a cute boy's name
though, guys. It is cute. Anyone out there pregnant
having a boy, you can have it. And then also
just reference me every so often.
Oh, jeez, very generous of you.
Thank you, Laura.
This week, Uber have dropped.
Are you guys across the Uber ratings,
the Uber rankings?
They drop them?
Do they do this every year?
They do it every year,
but it's perpetually on your app.
But it kind of every year,
because it's the end of the year,
it's like you've had all the Ubers that year.
That is the most pure version of your rating.
They do it state by state, don't they?
So like every state gets like an overall Uber rating.
Is that how it works?
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
I mean, look, I understand everyone wants to do a rap.
We've got Spotify rap.
We've got Uber rap.
We've got rap for everything.
But the Uber rap, I'm not really loving.
Can I guess which state won?
Yeah, so it's out of five.
Obviously, if you've gotten in an Uber, you know it's out of five stars.
So it is out of five, your score.
So, yeah, have a guess.
What state had the highest average Uber rating in Australia?
I reckon it would be, I feel like Melbourneites would be like really good.
So I'll go Victoria.
I reckon it's going to be Western Australia.
I reckon everyone's friendly.
You both picked the bottom two.
Wow.
Yeah, WA was 4.79, the lowest in Australia.
Oh, those poor people.
Victoria, just up 4.8.
Interesting.
So what, New South Wales?
New South Wales, number one, 4.84 on average.
But I don't really care about the results of the country.
I mostly care about the results of the pick-up.
So what I'd like you to do now.
No.
No.
Okay, this is a stitch-up because we do this every year
and I know my Uber rating is low but I have a defence for this.
It's because I used to live in a really inconvenient spot.
That was 15 years ago.
And it was so difficult for them to drop you off.
Laura, that was 15 years ago.
It's based on your last 500 rides.
Thank you so much, Producer Grace.
You've done 15 years of riding since you lived in the inconvenient location.
Can I say, this is just, you know what?
That is guilty.
What a defence mechanism.
Because I'm living in fear because the last time we did this,
mine was particularly low.
Maybe you should try driving then.
All right, grab your Uber app.
I thought that was going to hit hard.
I am worried about mine.
All right, if you'd like to play along in the car or if you're a passenger
or if you're listening wherever you're listening, grab your phone.
Go to the Uber app.
Make sure the latest version of Uber is downloaded.
Once the app is open, tap Account.
It's in the bottom right.
Your star rating will be waiting for you in the top left corner.
Let's start with Brittany Hockley out of five stars.
It's not bad.
Out of five stars, I've got a 4.8.
That is good.
That is good.
Is that good?
Well, that's where Victoria is and they're seventh in there.
Oh, well, see, 4.8 out of five sounds great,
But then when you say it's like second bottom state.
The national average, can I say, is 4.82.
All right, mine is 4.7.
I'm beating you.
You're below average.
Mine's bad.
Laura Byrne, fake mother, friend.
That 15 years ago lived somewhere that was inconvenient.
Sometimes I slam car doors, okay?
Laura, what's your Uber rating out of five?
It's 4.65.
Oh, Laura.
That's pretty bad.
That is so bad.
You should be ashamed.
Wait, wait.
Producer Grace, you're also...
Mine's 4.74, but can I point out Alfie,
who's helping us outside on the phones today,
he has a perfect five.
Alfie, you have always been a dream.
I've always thought this about you.
I don't talk in the Uber because I don't want to talk to them at all.
Yeah, right.
I do talk.
I thought that that's what they want.
That's the problem.
Alfie has the Uber Kids app.
You're a child.
I'm 22, bro.
Oh, sorry.
Okay.
No, I think Laura's problem is you're always talking on the phone,
So you're having, like, these other big animated conversations
and your phone's broken so everything had to be on loudspeaker.
So I think you're in the back of the Uber on loudspeaker.
It's not that 15 years ago you lived in an inconvenient location.
But my phone is broken so I can't help that.
You can have headphones.
It's true.
But I always lose one.
Just admit it, Laura.
So I'm the winner.
Britt is the winner, correct?
No, Alfie, sorry.
Our intern Alfie is the winner.
Alfie's here for one day.
Yeah, thanks, guys.
No worries.
Alfie, you're fired.
We've brought Alfie into the show for one day.
He'll never be heard of again.
Thank you, Alfie.
Appreciate you.
Do you know what?
Look, I might have upset some Ubers, but I've also upset somebody else in my life.
My daughter.
She wants to break up with me.
I think our relationship is over.
I think that's called emancipation.
Can a five-year-old emancipate themselves from their mother?
At what point do you start looking inwards?
Taylor Swift.
I'm the problem, it's me.
My five-year-old daughter, she threatened to run away from home.
Oh, that's all right.
We all go through that.
I've run away once.
I think five is early though, don't you?
I ran away and I lasted about 20 minutes.
Then I moved into the garage and that was really cold and damp.
So I moved back out.
How old were you at the time?
When I moved into the garage?
Yeah.
Probably eight.
Since I was born, I shared a room with my sister.
And you get to that point where you're like, I'm my own person.
I deserve my own space.
But there was no room in the house.
So I was like, fine, I'll sleep in the garage.
Mum and dad knowing full well it's full of like spiders and cold.
So I came back.
This is different.
You weren't angry at your parents.
So you didn't like run away from your parents.
You just wanted more space.
No, I ran away once and then I lasted like 20 minutes
because I was like, how do I survive in this world?
I ran away.
I remember it.
I was like eight, but I didn't run.
I had Heelys on, you know, those shoes that have the wheels in them.
So I was so mad.
You skated away?
I actually went, screw you, mum and dad, and I skated down the street.
Did you say, I'm wheeling away?
I think I did.
I said, I'm wheeling, wheeling away.
I'm rolling away.
I'm wheeling away.
And I sat at Nico Kiriakos' house for a couple of hours.
And that was it?
Yeah.
And did they come looking for you?
What happened?
They weren't that worried.
They know you're going to wheel back.
They're like, that's a gay kid.
He'll be terrified out in the streets.
He's not going to last at all.
Well, we were staying at my sister-in-law's house
and they've got like a big farm down south, right?
And on that farm there's an adjoining shed
which has got bunk beds and stuff in it.
So all the cousins were sleeping in the shed for the night
but there was no adults in the shed.
And I said to Marley, I was like, sweetheart,
you are just too little.
You have to stay in here.
She gets scared and I was worried that she'd have a nightmare
or whatever.
So I was like, sorry, honey, I've made a rule.
you're going to stay in the room with us.
At five.
Oh, you're so mean.
At five.
I think that's pretty rough.
All the cousins are out there.
But the cousins are older.
How old?
Oh, like eight, nine, ten.
She's five.
She's too little.
The five-year-old and the three-year-old had to stay.
Maybe I am a helicopter mum and this is the problem.
No, what happened?
So you said no.
Okay, so she, so it went on for a long time.
Like she negotiated every which way that she possibly could.
Like she tried bribery.
She tried insults.
She screamed.
She had a tantrum.
And then she was like, well, you know what, mum?
When you go to sleep, I'm going to run away.
Oh, that's a scary threat.
Right.
Okay.
Well, that's happening.
And to be fair, it was like eight o'clock at night.
So when she should have been asleep, we were all out there eating dinner and she tried
to run away.
But I caught her in the act.
Where was she going to go?
She had her pillow.
She had her blanket.
She'd opened the door and she was sneaking out to the shed.
She was running away to the shed.
She wasn't running away for good.
And so I got her and I put her back in her room and she was like, fine, I'm breaking
up with you.
We're not together anymore.
You were like, I hate to break it to you, sweetheart.
Yeah.
You depend on me for your survival.
No, it made me realise that she thinks we're in a relationship
because she's been watching and listening to too much Taylor Swift.
She was like, oh, I'm in a relationship with my mum.
She's broken up with me.
We're no longer dating.
Yeah, it's emancipation.
I don't think it's the same.
No, I think she's confused with the concept.
I think she thinks you guys are in a platonic relationship.
Well, yeah, because there's more to this, right?
So when I got married to Matt, like her dad,
Marley was three at the time,
and she was like a really big part of the wedding.
And she's always said it was our wedding.
But now I realise that she actually thinks it was our wedding.
She thinks the three of us are in a relationship together.
So you're divorcing.
The throuple is turning into a couple.
Yeah, my five-year-old's leaving our, I mean,
this is just getting weirder and weirder.
I wasn't around when The Bachelor was happening because Dad and I.
He would have picked me.
He would have picked me.
He probably would have.
You wouldn't have stood a chance.
And what does Lola do, your other one in all this situation?
Nah, she loves me heaps.
She doesn't care.
She just wants to be anywhere I am.
Like if I'm there, she just wants to be in bed.
Like she would climb back into the womb if she could.
Imagine the day she tries to break up with you.
It'll happen.
I hate to break it to you.
I know when she's 13.
I know it's going to come.
There is always that day when like a little girl turns around to their mum
and it's like, I don't love you.
I remember doing it to my mother when I was like 15 years old.
I feel like in your family, Lola is going to be the difficult teenager.
I reckon Marley will be okay.
And I think Lola is going to be like pushing boundaries.
Yeah, but isn't that always the case?
like first born child
is like quite obedient
they like usually
want to you know
no
there's no rhyme or reason
not in my family either
isn't there
I always think like
first born's like the good kid
and then second born's the rebel
I think there's no rule
it is what it is
but out of your kids personalities
Lola's going to be terrible
oh well
we're off to a great start
aren't we
anyway I've broken up
with my daughter
so that's
well I hope you get back together
I'm praying for you
fingers crossed that it works out
maybe couples therapy
I was about to say
couples counselling
yeah I help
Bye.
