Dude, I am so behind.
When you figured out about Shred's new girlfriend, you're like, wait, what?
Him doing donuts in my Porsche was so chaotic.
And then he proceeds to crash it into the ditch.
Ken, you're getting a divorce from Shred 80's mom, and you got a BMW wagon.
I'm trying to cut back my drinking.
That doesn't mean that you leave a wedding at 9 o'clock.
It truly lives up to the hype that everyone says it will be the best day of your life.
You're on time today.
Congratulations.
Wow.
When we run it at 1030, it's pretty doable.
It's 1044.
True.
I mean, I was working before this, though.
All right.
And we're back with another week of Lifewide Open podcast.
And I believe we have Benjamin.
The married man.
I'll believe it when I see it, man.
Frenchie.
Frenchie.
Coming back in.
Can you imagine?
Can you imagine?
Can you imagine?
Can you imagine?
He wanted us to text them when we're ready.
We have not seen this guy in two and a half week.
Wow.
Wow.
Look at that outfit, dude.
Fuck, I missed you, kid.
Oh my gosh, man.
Good to have you back.
Still even wearing the married shirt.
It's good to be back, boys.
Ben and Greta on the shirt.
Wow.
Well, all I got to say is that I should have taken a longer honeymoon.
Dude, all I got to say, boys, the best wedding gift you could have gave me was for me to just basically disappear for two weeks.
Two weeks.
Two and a half, brother.
And you guys hold down the fort and keep things going.
We did just that.
Honestly.
Number ones while you were gone?
Yeah. Couple number ones.
Dude, I've been so disconnected.
I muted every chat that I was in, which we have a lot of them.
When you start muting them, there's like 12.
Yeah.
We have 12 group chats that are active 12 times every hour.
And so I muted every chat.
I haven't watched any of the videos.
Oh, what?
None of the podcast.
You haven't watched a single video?
Nothing.
Dude, I like fully disconnected.
You fully Frenched out.
I fully Frenched out and I drank so much wine.
Oh.
I ate so much bread and pasta.
You're a full-sized baguette.
Dude, I really figured you were out there at least watching the videos.
That's crazy.
No, dude.
I like fully disconnected because like the first couple days I hadn't muted the chats.
And like I was still like, you know, I was just seeing everything.
And I was like somewhat involved.
I was like, hey, I'm out.
But like connecting you guys and doing this much.
and then it got to a point where I was just like I was so like worked up yeah because there's so many
problems like throughout the day and like you know I want to be a part of helping solve them
and I was just like if I keep like if I keep doing this I'm not going to have a vacation
and also there's there's two sides of it like one we might be firing in like a true problem
that we really would use your insight on or we might just be like yo Dalton can you bring my
golf shoes over and you're like I don't
I don't need to read that either.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I just got to a point where I was just like,
the only way for me to, like, truly disconnect is to, like, really disconnect.
It's true.
Not watch the bids.
We have so much ground to cover.
I feel like you're so behind.
I am, I'm, dude, I am so behind.
Which Ken is fucking stoked about it.
It is going to take you so long to catch up.
I don't know what you at least another year or two.
When you figured out about Treads of a new girlfriend, you're like,
Wait, what?
Yeah.
That was awesome.
When you responded to that?
I was like, yeah.
I was just like, bro, that was like three weeks ago.
Like, you know, it felt like so long ago.
Yeah, it does feel like, I don't, I'm looking at you.
I'm like, I don't even know you anymore.
You guys wouldn't believe how much you guys do or how much we do in one week.
Oh.
Until you're an outsider looking in.
Uh-huh.
Because, you know, for the first couple days, I was seeing the messages like, you guys were filming this.
Then you were filming this.
And then you were filming this.
And it was like,
two things in one day.
And I'm like,
my God,
these guys are ripping right now.
We were ripping.
We were ripping.
Yeah,
you were ripping.
And,
and I just,
I,
like,
I felt like a true outsider
looking in of like,
damn,
this is like really impressive.
Wish there was more stories.
Like,
they're doing so much shit.
We felt like we were doing a lot of shit too.
Yeah.
And I appreciate that.
Like,
I'm glad that I could just
completely disconnect and you guys just keep ripping.
That was the best wedding gift you could have given.
You're welcome.
Holy shit.
I went to the south of France
and I felt like an orphan poor.
Really?
I mean, it's the richest place in the world.
Like anyone that has money,
like the billionaires,
take their yachts to the south of France in the summer.
Whoa.
And my wife thought that that would be a nice place
to go on honeymoon,
which it was.
I'm sure it was.
It was great.
But I'm walking around like so unbelievably poor.
It's crazy because you got like a GT3RS
and like all this crazy stuff.
Dude,
every single.
single person there was hopping off their
$100 million yacht,
taking a $20 million
dingy to shore, and then
sitting next to us at lunch.
Wow. Do you talk to anyone?
No, not really. I was going to say, it had to be so hard for you not to
interview them. Be like, so tell me about your boat and how you got here.
Yeah, yeah, that's the thing is like, I feel like most people
aren't trying to be, like, bothered. Yeah, for sure.
Yeah. But you had to want to. Oh, I wanted to
bad. But, yeah, you embodied that with the
Nap you sent where you were like, I'm not kidding, boys, look around. And there were supercars
everywhere. It was every supercar. Every car was a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a Porsche. It was insane.
It was like that's the normal car. It looked like some of them had just been sat abandoned for a while.
Like they just hadn't moved. Oh yeah. There was an SVJ pop up the video of this SVJ. It was just
sitting on the side. Dusty. Yeah, on the side of the street. Right on the side of a one point three
million dollar car. Yeah. And it just sat there for like a couple days and there was an F8 Ferrari in front of it.
And both of them were like drawn on because they'd sat there for like two days and that was crazy.
But dude, I kid you not. If you sat like at a restaurant right next to the road for an hour,
you would see 25 Lamborghinis, 30 Ferraris, 150 G wagons. What? A ton of Porsches. It was like the
craziest thing. And like, I see crazy cars every day just because of our friends and being in
Kormat and all these different things of just like our life, right? I was mind blown. I was like,
where are these people coming from? So tell me what was the coolest car you saw? Yeah, anything stand
out? I mean, I saw like a bunch of Bugatti's. Really? Yeah. That's pretty cool. And I saw a Bugatti that
had the license plate 69 from Dubai. And that in itself is like a $3 million license plate. Yeah, that's
Really? Yeah, because like in in Dubai, you can buy all these crazy cars, but everyone can buy the cars.
The only thing that sets your car apart is how low of a license plate or how special of a license plate you have.
So that's the true flex.
What?
So like, they went with 69.
Yeah.
I love it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm like, what is he wearing on his finger there?
It's a different.
It does look good.
Looks good.
Yeah.
It feels good.
It's like, I mean, Mike, you kind of know it takes like I've never worn a ring before.
so it takes a little bit of like getting used to
like having something on my hand. I never had either.
Two of the five.
Two of the five infinity stones
have been collected. You're up next
siege. You're getting excited, I see,
but... Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
Let's focus on them today.
Yeah, so, I mean, let's just break down the wedding.
I don't know. It's like we have so much
grime to go. Did you go over the wedding?
We've wanted to. We wanted
you to be here because
it felt wrong talking about it.
But I did see... I've been
getting tagged in the podcast
clip of you guys just mentioning shreds
crashing my Porsche. And it was
It's been teased. It's been teased.
By now, it'll come out because it'll come
out this week. So this is going on. Right. So people have already
seen it. Yep. Yep.
I was going to say, like, just as we
get into it, I'm sure we'll talk about
like the crash. But Jack
or Dalton, you guys should pull up the
footage of me reacting
to shreds crashing into the ditch.
And we could just like watch. I don't have you guys
seen the footage of it. I haven't seen your
Yeah, Mike was just talking about it.
I was watching it all go down with my jaw on the freaking ground.
Yeah.
Oh, you were?
And when he put it in the ditch, I'm not joking.
Like, I haven't been that surprised in a long time.
That was crazy.
I was pretty drunk.
So I was just like, yeah, this is good.
This is right.
Ken, were you even there at that time?
Or are you left?
No, I was.
Yeah, dude, I heard about that too.
Ken had only one glad to cook him for that.
What?
I'm trying to cut back my drinking.
That doesn't mean that you leave a wedding at.
at 9 o'clock.
That's the problem is...
I'm still trying to get
my self-control good,
so I just know if I...
He's got a problem, Ben.
When the hell did you decide this?
The morning of the wedding?
No, after the tattoo party.
Oh.
I decided...
Yeah.
So I just know, like,
if I don't have that great
of self-control and if I would have
stayed in that...
What's one more night?
You've done the last...
You've done the last 30 years.
I guess you probably started drinking
when you were what?
16.
So...
I don't know. It's, I'm trying to cut back, and that's kind of like my, if I know I, if I was in that kind of environment with an open bar, I would just get super drunk.
It's really your fault, Ben. So I was just to remove myself. That bar was open.
I just needed to remove myself in that environment. Can you tell or no? There was, uh, 16 grand.
Okay. Yeah. That's a lot. That's a lot, but less than I expect. Yeah. Not like, I mean, that's a heavy night for sure.
That's a pretty heavy night.
Pretty good.
But you got 400 people there.
To have open unlimited booze for everyone, for that many people,
you had like 400 people there.
Yeah, I was pretty concerned to see what that final bill was going to be.
It felt like everyone was just always there.
That's what I heard.
I never actually made it past, like, the back of the tent.
Like, where, like, the head table was and then, like, the dance floor,
I never went to the backside of the tent.
Well, because I was, like, so busy.
And every time I was like, I need a drink, it would just appear in my hand.
There was always a line to get drinks.
It was, wasn't that.
I mean, they had like four different people.
It was great.
That's why I kind of left.
He was like,
it was not worth waiting.
It took like two minutes.
Took like two minutes if,
if anything.
But so should we,
should we rewind, start at the beginning?
I'd like to linear get through this.
Yeah,
start at the beginning of the weekend.
Yep.
In the beginning.
I mean,
I'll start by saying like,
it truly lives up to the hype
that everyone says it will be the best day
of your life.
For sure.
And,
you know,
after Mike got married, he said the same thing. And it's one of those things where like,
it's hard to know what it's going to feel like. Like, you know that you're going to be excited.
You know that it's going to like feel like it goes by like this. But until it happens and the
next day you're sitting there reflecting back on it. I don't know. It's just like, it was just
such a new feeling and such a like a one-off experience. But yeah, it was like truly the greatest day
of my life. Even I was buzzing from it. And I think, I mean, obviously I've been in,
other weddings, but being the best man I've never been before.
So like the responsibility of having the rings and then like knowing I'm going to have to do
the speech and this, that, and there's so many people.
You had a big ass wedding, Ben.
You had so many people.
So it wasn't like a normal wedding.
And like, for instance, those rings, dude, I was just sweating.
Yeah, you were pretty concerned about the rings.
I didn't want to lose them.
I get that, but it's like, do you have holes in your pockets?
You don't know.
Like, how often do you lose it?
something that you put in your pocket.
It's hot as shit out.
And I'm just like, I'm not taking this jacket off.
I know.
I was just like, CJ, think we just filmed the banger and here's the SD card for it.
You got to keep it safe.
That is stressful.
That's the same thing.
And so anyways, I had it in my pocket.
But dude, I dang near cramped up my bicep trying to get it out because it was so deep
in that.
At the front when the front when you guys are getting asked you for the-
Turn and looked at me.
Do you have the rings?
Of course I got the rings of the fuck you're trying to get them.
Well, did you notice?
then, so after you'd given them to me, I just held on to Greta's, but I took mine and I,
I didn't want to drop it or, you know, I didn't really know what to do with it. So I'd just
put it in my pocket until I had to give it to her. So I put Greta's ring on. And then
the father goes, okay, now exchange the ring with Greta. So I go, well, you know how sometimes,
you know how a pocket has another little pocket inside of it? Oh shit, it was in the little pocket.
You're like, right? So it's like to get into the little pocket, you got to have like use two fingers.
like kind of slide it in there.
Well, I couldn't, you know, I was like
kind of starting to sweat then too. I felt like
CJ. I couldn't get it with the
two fingers. So then I had to go in like
this into the pocket, like
upside down and sneak my thumb
and pointer finger into it
in front of everyone. So I get that.
It was stressful. It was nerve-wracking.
And then so your brother, Sam,
who is your other best man,
he was also very nervous throughout the day.
Yeah. Dude, dinner was hardly fun.
You two were just sitting there like this.
Yeah, no, I was like, come on, boy.
The thing is, ramp this up a little bit.
You know what I know when I lightened up was when I kind of just like, I was like, dude,
like, I don't remember the last time I've been this nervous.
I was like, dude, it's actually like, if you just kind of think about it, like take a step
back and just like literally think about, like take in how you're feeling, it's like,
holy crap, dude, this is like a crazy feeling.
And then I kind of started enjoying it.
As weird as that is, like, I don't want to experience that all the time, but I like took a
step back.
I was like, I'm just going to take this in and just remember what it feels like to be this
nervous and whatever. And then I drank two beers and I was just like, yeah, I'm ready to
get up there in the pocket. I'm in the pocket. But let's rewind. Let's rewind. Let's get to
probably the groom's dinner. Or we could even start with taking delivery of Steve Haleckon.
That'd be actually the beginning of the weekend. Let's go back to the proposal. Let's start at the
beginning. Yeah, you had the ultimate pull-up car, man. The most insane pull-up car ever.
Yeah, I mean, if you guys have seen the vid, you saw us taking delivery of it. It's like,
Like, it's one of those cars that you have to see it in person to truly appreciate, like, the work of art that it is solely based off of how much carbon fiber it has and how aggressive it looks.
Yeah, the design is way crazy.
It doesn't even look real.
It doesn't look real.
It's like a video game car.
When you look at it, you're almost like, is this like, like, from a far, you almost would just be like, is this a kit car?
And then you get up close and like, holy fuck, this is the whole thing is carbon fiber.
Like, yeah, you get up close and you're anything that look.
dark, you get up close, and you're like, oh, this entire car is made out of carbon fiber.
Yeah.
And so it was a $6.5 million conous egg.
Performance-wise, they had 1,500 horsepower.
Yeah, I think something like that.
So crazy.
On E85.
Okay.
Well, anyway, it was the first car that I looked at that I was literally satisfied just
looking at it.
Yeah, I wasn't like, boy, would I like a ride in that.
I didn't even sit in it.
You know what I mean?
It was just like, I just didn't want to scuff something or I don't know.
I just like, Steve gives a fuck either, too.
Not that Steve doesn't. Shout out Steve Hamilton.
Yep.
And that was also.
No questions asked.
No question.
He was like, did you get it?
I was like, yeah, we got it.
And he was like, enjoy it.
It's going to be the best day of your life.
Like talking about like the wedding.
It was just like the car is just a little sign.
The car is just a car.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He wasn't concerned about it.
He wasn't checking in on it.
Nothing.
I love when you asked.
Six million dollars sitting there.
Yeah.
He wasn't like, is it raining?
Is it Haley?
Did you park in a safe spot?
He's just like.
yeah, have fun. I love when you asked him, and his exact text response was, what car,
what time, and where. That was all he cared about was just like, what do you need and when do you
need it? So baller, so baller. Shout out, Steve. What a good friend. So how was driving it?
Because I wanted to drive it, but I didn't get it. Like a time warp. Really? Yeah, it was like a time warp.
And you give it gas. Like, I never even floored it, but you give it a little bit of gas,
turbo spool. And then it's like a slingshot. Gone. Like, you're just, you're just, you're just,
doing felony speeds way faster than you should.
Than even just like that.
So we take delivery of it and Dalton and I hop in it from driving it.
And it doesn't drive different.
Like none of those cars really drive any different than a Toyota Camry.
Like you put it in automatic.
You don't have to worry about shifting.
You give a gas and you turn.
There's not much to it.
But it's something about having a $6 million price tag that just changes everything about
the way you're driving it.
And I'll give you an example of that, like, after we left the ceremony, I'm driving it
with Dalton, and I'm pulling it into Cormorant, which I've done 100,000 times.
And I'm checking for...
Scanning.
Dude, I'm checking for anyone pulling out of the gas station coming down the road
that could potentially have their blinker on, but they accidentally go straight, you know,
like not taking a single chance.
Because also people kind of black out.
They do.
When they see a car like that, they start looking and then they're not focused on what they're doing.
And so, like, you know, we're always driving something weird or crazy through Cormorant, whether it's our boat car or the world's longest pickup truck that we turned in, or limo that we turned into a pickup truck.
Like Cormorant's always seeing something weird come through it or crazy.
But when Dalton and I pulled the GESCO through town, people are just filled, and people don't even know what this car is.
They don't even know it.
is, but they're just filming it like, what the fuck is this thing?
Yeah.
Right?
We drive through.
We took a couple TikToks and I get back to the shop and I immediately start getting text
from like people that I don't talk to.
Really?
Like, did you buy a Jesco?
That's crazy.
I know.
So many people were like.
I wouldn't even have known what that was.
I know.
Yeah.
So many people thought that was a Corvette.
Just don't know.
It was.
It was around town.
Steve that.
It was around town.
Someone people were saying.
They were like, oh, that's cool that Ben used.
your Corvette.
Oh, really?
There was somebody who said that, exactly.
And I said, no, he did not.
He would have probably just used his Porsche Gt3RS, which is way cooler than my car.
He used that.
But yeah, anyway.
It was pretty surreal, just like starting the weekend out, just kind of driving around.
So we get it back.
We're kind of just like looking at it, like playing with it in the parking lot at the shop.
And Dalton gets locked in the car.
What?
And the door went open.
And we're like, what is going on here?
So I'm texting Steve's delivery guy and Steve like, hey, is there something you got
to do to like open the door?
And they just respond like, yeah, classic Konexac problems.
You got to just mess with it.
Just yank on it.
Yeah, it's just like, don't yank on it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I saw straight 80 start yanking on it and I told him to take 10, 10 steps back.
He literally grabbed his hand.
He thought you just had to force it up.
Yeah, force it up.
So like, if you touch.
If you touch.
like the key has like a it's called a ghost mode where you double tap on the key and like the whole
car like opens up and then you can also open up like each individual door just with the key you know he
was like dude it's a konexag they only make what a hundred of them like they're finicky you can have
problems and they only make a hundred of any yeah yeah of any vehicle so he was like yeah sometimes
you got to like get in there and started and then like opened it up from the inside and i was like
oh okay so you know we figure it out and i was like man
I sure hope this doesn't happen on the wedding day. And so we like kind of go about it.
And then Steve texting just goes, yeah, just like don't open it up into ghost mode when the
car is off too much. Otherwise it'll like kill the battery or it'll just mess with like the electronics.
Like it doesn't like being opened and closed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So fast forward. I guess kind of skipping
stuff, but it'll make more sense if I just tell it in this order. We get done with the ceremony.
The car is sitting out front of the church. I gave.
my key to Sam, my brother, one of my best men, and I go, hey, don't lose this key. I'll get it after
the, after the ceremony. And we go throughout the ceremony. I get done and I ask him for the key back.
And he goes, yep, right here. Do you want me to close it up? And I go close it up and look out one of the
windows and I just see it ghost mode, like fully opened up. And I'm like, yeah, I'm like, yeah,
yeah, yeah, probably close it down. Yeah, when we come out. And he was like, okay, well, I go out
there. Then I see him and my dad and all of my dad's friends standing around it, opening and closing it,
opening and closing it. I'm like, oh my gosh, you know, as everyone's, you were taking, like,
photos. Yeah, we were taking photos and I just see it like going up. He's putting on a show outside with
it. Yeah. And my dad is walking around just like loving it. He's showing all of his friends.
And I'm just like, oh, my God, if this thing has a dead battery when we get out to it,
this is going to be a tough look. We walk out on cloud nine. Besides,
It's for, you may kiss the bride, like the moment of, like, walking out and finally seeing
everyone, like, celebrating you and, like, about to do the sickest pull, pull off of all time,
double tap the key, wait for the door to open up.
I actually hit the wrong key door at first, so mine opens up, and I go, oh, and I hit
Greta's, nothing.
Double tap again, nothing.
I'm like, oh, maybe I just got to open it up the old-fashioned way, so I go up to it,
hit the old button, nothing.
I'm like, oh, my God.
Keep in mind, 400 people watching you.
Yeah, yeah, everyone's standing around.
Everyone's standing around.
And I just, I just hear somebody yell, I thought it was a $6 million car.
Who said that?
I don't know.
Somebody yells that in the background.
Like, probably one of the boys.
And like, or they go, $6 million car and the door won't even open?
And I'm just at this point, like, oh my gosh, what do I, like.
Your first act as a married couple.
Yeah.
Then Gavin comes in and starts trying to pry the door open.
And I told him, Gavin, stop.
It definitely doesn't need to be forced open.
Yeah, I don't think that's going to solve anything.
Because he was the last one to ride in it.
So he's like, I'll fix it.
I probably just jammed it.
Yeah, he was like, oh, I probably just close it a little hard.
Which keep in mind, you cannot, it only opens via button.
Like, it's not like a, you press a button and then you open it manually.
Like, it does it all on its own.
Yeah, it doesn't have like a, like a release lock or, you know, like some of those doors are like, oh, the old manual.
Like, it's all like kind of.
button driven. And so, yeah, at this point, I'm like full on.
Bro, you turned and you looked at Sam. You're like, I looked at him.
Yeah, you came like, dude, I told you not to open this thing and close it 20 times.
And you could tell Sam's eyes were like, why too. He was like, oh, this is not good.
And, uh, yeah, so Greta is so down. She goes, I could just crawl in through the window.
Yeah, she was for her. She's like, I'll figure it all climb over. She's like, I can just crawl over.
I'm like, no offense, Greta?
But no.
Once you did get the door open, it was hard enough to get all that dress in there.
Yeah, yep.
And so, yeah, I ended up, like, crawling in, starting the car, and it kind of like reset everything.
And then I opened it up.
Before you get to that, when you started it, it went like, it almost didn't start.
It was on its last leg of battery.
Yeah.
And if it wouldn't have started on that first one, I don't think it would have had enough to turn over the second.
second time.
Imagine how bad that would have been.
It would have been way worse.
That's how me and Ryan, we walked away and we're like,
pro, I'm just glad that thing started.
That was on its last leg.
Yeah.
I mean, I was thinking the same thing, obviously, too.
Like, your heart just sinks when you hear that first,
and so, yeah, I crawl in there.
I get the door to open up.
Everyone's celebrating.
There's a photo.
Pop up the picture of me finally getting the door open up.
I'm popping out.
Both my hands are up.
Like, I just won the Super Bowl.
Yeah, and yeah, I get Greta in there.
This kind of goes back to me like tweaking, driving this crazy car.
Like I thought about hitting up like our local police task force and just be like,
could you just like give me an escort through town so I don't get T-boned?
Yeah.
Of like, what do I got to donate for this?
So anyway, I'm driving through town.
I'm looking 25 times before each corner.
And I get up to a stop sign.
And I'm also on cloud nine.
I just got married, right?
Like, everything, there's just, like, so many different things going through my brain.
I'm stopping at stop signs.
Like, they were red lights waiting for them to turn green.
Yeah, you blacked out then.
I blacked out.
I was fully blacked out.
And Greta's like, you know, this is a stop sign.
I stopped at a stop sign for, like, 25 seconds.
Yeah, I was crazy.
I was just enjoying it, baby.
I was just like, oh, of course, yeah.
I take a left.
She goes, you were supposed to go straight.
We ended up taking, like, the craziest route to the,
the venue of like, we probably went like an extra five miles, like just around town,
just because I kept missing turns.
Really?
Yeah, I was like fully blacked out.
But I was also just like, I was on cloud nine, dude.
I was on cloud nine.
It was like the happiest moment of my life.
No, yeah, no issue with the drive being longer.
Yeah, it was like, yeah, we're all doing cocktail hour.
It's all good.
Yeah.
I want to pull up the post here.
So someone spotted actually even before the ceremony in the Fargo Cars and Cocker,
Facebook group page.
Yeah.
814 likes, which is, uh, it's pretty good for the group.
But one of the top comments, Ben at C-Boyce TV doesn't have Jesco money.
And I was like, you're damn right.
No shit.
I actually thought that was like the most educated comment on there, too.
Because we don't have a lot.
A lot of people did know, uh, that it was Steve's.
Yeah.
And then there was people that were like at the wedding reception being like, it's at the
wedding reception now.
So it definitely.
was a stir around town.
Yeah, I mean, okay, so yeah, that's enough on the car aspect of it, but.
But pretty crazy.
It was pretty crazy.
Kind of going back in time, though, to the groom's dinner.
Legendary groom's dinner.
Legendary.
On the water, we all hop in going around on pontoons.
We go to another restaurant prior to the dinner and, like, cruise around.
That was really, really fun.
We wanted the whole, like, weekend to feel just, like, an immersive experience of, like,
our group and our families and obviously like the entire bridal party but also like have little
aspects that like felt like Greta and I you know so it's not just like a normal wedding experience I guess
and like after doing like the walkthroughs let's all hop on the boats and go bar hopping essentially
like on the boats and then after that the grooms dinner and everything I had the Jukish brothers come and do
a jet ski show so sick I was like I feel like there's just like elements that you know I wanted to
feel like me. And Greta wanted that too. She was like, I want you to like make it feel like something
that you would do, not just like a pretty wedding, you know, and like obviously that was her dream
of building out like the most insane tent and flowers and all these different like elements that
made it feel like a wedding for Greta. She kind of gave me like the freedom of like, you know,
I want there to be details that are like, oh yeah, this is also Ben's a seboy wedding. Yeah.
Yeah.
Yep.
Insert jet ski stunt show after dinner.
But dude,
people loved it.
They did.
Which was so sick because the sun was setting and they were like doing backflips,
double backflips over like the sunset.
People have never seen anything like that.
Yeah.
It's ridiculous to watch in the world.
That's why it's insane to experience in person.
People were talking about like,
oh wow,
this is so cool.
And I go,
yes,
they're both like kids basically,
young men.
But I go,
these two are the best jet ski freestyle riders in the world.
in the world. I was like, they are the best. And then everyone's like, whoa. I go, yeah, I go, he's
one world's like six times in a row. He's the best in the world right there. And they're like,
oh my God. And then they would start telling other people, like, there was a good buzz on the doc about that.
Just even seeing them just do a backflip right there in front of you. Like if you've never seen that,
even for me, every single time, I'm just like, this shit is insane. They just make it look so
damn easy. But they're so high and they're not even really hitting anything. It's just strictly the amount of power
launching them out of the water with that jet ski.
They make these double backflips look so easy.
I don't know if it.
People were yelling on the duck.
Go for a triple.
Yeah, they go, you got the triple.
I know it.
And I was like, dude, it took them years just to lock down the double.
They're like one of three people in the world that can do doubles.
I did ask.
I was like, when's the triple coming?
And they said, hopefully next year.
Oh, I'm sure they're working on it.
I feel like, with the help of a wave, I think it's definitely possible.
How many Gs does that got to be?
I mean, double, they're spinning pretty quick on there.
So like they're holding on heads yanked.
And I don't think you could have timed the Jetsky show at any better moment.
It was a good timing for multiple reasons.
We did, we did mention the gun incident.
We didn't get into it.
But it was like perfectly timed.
Dude.
Yeah.
So, uh, all the boys are showing up for, for essentially like the after party of the groom
center.
There it's called like the welcome party.
And, uh, you know,
could tell the boys were buzzing they've probably been pre-gaming and and firing Evan Gavin rich yep and the only
thing funny spennie Gavin Eland yep the only thing formal that had happened that evening was your dad did a
speech that was about it other than that your dad had a microphone with a speaker standing there giving
this speech like a really nice speech and these guys came walking in right at the end of his speech
So fast forward.
So our friend Rich, our track builder Rich,
had gotten me a gift.
And he was super excited to give me this gift.
Custom AR.
And I don't know who talked him into it,
but essentially my dad was like the final,
the final guy to give the stamp of approval.
Sure.
Run it now.
Run it now.
I'm going to give you this microphone in front of...
He didn't know he was going to get the mic.
No, no, I know that.
I can tell he was very surprised.
And my dad goes, give him this AR right now in front of the whole family.
Awesome.
This will be awesome.
We are in a nice restaurant.
It's super, yeah, it was just a nice restaurant and everyone was like, you know, dressed up.
Which just adds to the element of it.
I think something to add.
So I had helped Rich get this AR because it was sent from the manufacturer,
custom paint job with Ben and Greta.
It's sick.
He has to me to help design.
it and then he just goes, how's this
look? And it's just a bunch of cute
photos of Benet and Grant on it. So anyways,
I helped him go get this thing earlier
that day. And
while we're in the car, he's like,
yeah, dude, like Jason really wants
me to give it to him at the
groom's dinner. And I was kind of like,
all right, I guess. Like, if that's
I guess if everyone wants you to do that, like, that's
cool. In my mind, I
didn't know there was going to be a fucking PA
system. I didn't know
there was going to be a microphone and a
speaker. I figured he was going to walk in with the box. He didn't go up to you. You're going to be at
your own little table. Like six people are going to notice. You're going to say thank you. That's awesome.
And then you're going to show people. I'm like, yeah, sure. If that's what you guys want to do,
do it. When your dad's giving the speech and I'm watching in third person as Rich comes in and he
calls Rich up to the mic, I'm like, holy shit. But there's nothing I can do. What am I going to do?
No, no. I'm just like, well, I hope this goes well. Well, Rich is kind of two sheets to the wind.
He's been hanging out with Gavin and Evan
At the bar for the last five hours prior to this
And he doesn't have a speech plan
So how fucking uncomfortable
You walk in everyone's in suits and like dressed up
And you're kind of just rolling with the boys like
And just to put it into perspective even more
They thought that they were coming to the fireside to eat
So they were only drinking and didn't have any food
So that just kind of goes to show
Damn
Well yeah
Rich proceeds to grab the mic
And, like, obviously, we got, like, my family and Greta's family, and my dad was like,
oh, Greta's family are all hunters and this and that much.
And, like, they'll love it.
They'll love it.
So that's kind of why he was, like, you know, thinking the way that he was.
And Rich proceeds to grab the mic and, you know.
His speech was actually, it was nice.
His speech was nice.
Well, he goes, who here has been bullied by bed.
And, like, I just look out and, like, obviously, like, all my family is, like, laughing.
You know, they think it's funny.
And then I look at Greta's.
Yeah, I look at Greta's family and like, they know me, but they don't know me like that.
Right.
And they're just like, who is this guy?
And what did Ben do to him to grab the mic and go, who's been bullied by Ben?
And so I'm like kind of feeling this out of like, all right, Rich, where are you going with this?
And I look at CJ and I give CJ the look of like, what's happening right now.
And CJ just goes, I don't.
And I go, oh shit, this is like, this is, who knows where this is going?
And so Rich, like, proceeds to give me this, like, certificate saying that he was going to send me to counseling.
Therapy.
Therapy.
And you guys read it and you look at it and you're just like, no, I'm not going to read that.
And I was like, okay, where are you going with this, Rich?
And he's like, all right, all right.
gives me the gift
and he still has the microphone
at this point
I open the gift up
and Greta is now standing
right next to me
because I go,
is this for me and Greta
and Rich is like
yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's Reu and Greta,
it's Reu and Greta,
it's Reu and Greta.
And I opened it up
and everyone at this point,
you know,
Rich has captivated the audience.
Everyone is.
Everyone is.
Crowd's locked in.
Fucking.
So call it 120 people
at this welcome party.
No music.
Everyone's just sitting there
waiting.
What?
is this gift.
The whole restaurant
We're in a
restaurant, a public restaurant.
I mean, it was shut down.
It was prior.
It was shut down.
But it was everyone was in there.
I opened the box up and it's a gun.
It's an AR-15.
And I see it right away because I'm standing over it.
And everyone in the back is like, what is it?
I tip the box to show everyone.
And it's just silent.
It was, I do want to take some credit.
We as your boy.
should have cheered.
I think I did.
I thought I did.
I would have set a better tone
for the whole restaurant.
But it was just,
we were like,
what the fuck's going on?
And it was just everyone was like,
I think people didn't literally know
what it was.
I literally remember hearing someone go,
what is it?
And the guy goes, it's an AR.
What?
Or somebody,
and then he goes,
it's a gun.
An AR 15.
And then they go,
what is that?
And he goes, a gun.
And then like,
then people realize like,
oh.
Yeah.
I had some murmurs from my table.
It was 50-50.
It was like, oh, badass.
And then the other 50 was like, can he have that?
And also, what people couldn't see is it, it was fully custom pictures of you and Greta.
It was like an art piece.
Here's a gun.
It was a very nice thought-out thing.
It definitely wasn't to the plan that Rich had an issue.
Right.
Because he had built this off of like, yeah, he was very excited to give you this.
So excited.
It was a very thoughtful gift, I think.
Oh, it was 100%.
It just was, just the way things shook out was an, it ended up almost making it.
Well, the whole, the whole audience is sitting there.
What is it?
It's a gun.
Everyone ducks down.
He's got a gun.
That's what I should have yelled.
But since I knew what was on it, I was so excited to see you, like, notice it.
Your reaction to it was so satisfying.
You go,
What is it?
You go, oh, it's pictures of Greta and I.
You look at Greta?
And Greta's over there.
Like, is this a gift for both?
Greta goes like this.
Can he have that here?
Yeah.
Rich is like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's for both of you.
Yeah, of course, it's for both of you.
And so in the midst of all of this, it's like kind of silent.
People are like, what is it?
Mark was loving.
He was videotaping and he was like smiling.
And then it couldn't have been at a better moment.
Jetskis pull up.
And he goes, oh, jet skiskees are here.
Everyone just goes outside.
So everyone goes outside.
And then so on top of that, then Rich was probably like,
what the fuck?
He didn't feel like you liked his gift, I think.
He felt like it was unappreciated.
So I'm like still trying to process everything that just happened.
I'm like,
you were genuinely surprised.
I was,
100%.
Yeah,
surprised.
Yeah.
And then you had 120 people just staring at you.
Greta's like, you know, can you even, can you have that in public?
And like, she's asking me that.
and Rich is over here like,
well, you don't appreciate my gift?
I'm like, no, Rich, Rich, no, no, I love the gift.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Not sure if it was the right time,
but I love the gift.
And then Rich is just like, what the fuck?
Yeah, when he heard that.
He worked hard on that, dude.
He did.
He was literally talking about it for like three months getting it lined up.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I think when he heard that when you were just like,
maybe it wasn't the right time,
which is you didn't mean as like, you fucked up.
He was just like, no,
oh, it all went not according to plan.
He's like, how am I the only guy who gave him a gift?
And now I'm the bad guy.
I think the only way for him to...
Try and process.
Trying to process was to keep drinking.
Yeah.
I was keep in mind, there was no more food being served either.
Then for the next...
Never ate.
The next two hours.
I just see Rich making his way to the bar, getting another drink,
and then just walking around, just like...
So you're the guy that getting the guy.
he was trying to do like damage
he started to help him
he started wearing sunglasses pop up a picture
of Rich walking around in the sunglasses
he's trying to disguise himself
I was trying to help him feel better
though because I knew he was maybe like
oh dude like that that was not
like what he initially planned
so I was trying to make him feel better
I was like dude honestly everyone I've talked to
thought it was awesome and Grandpa Ron was like
is there any bullets for that thing let's go fire it off
like he wanted to go shoot it off the dock
I'm like, Grandpa, we can't do that.
Yeah, he did.
I don't remember quite you trying to make him feel better about it, though.
Rich?
I did.
I have photos of you hysterically laughing.
I was laughing.
That flash with it.
You literally I was trying to make myself feel better.
No, I was laughing, but I also did tell him, like, bro, like, I wouldn't grab Brandt.
I wouldn't grab.
I was like, pro.
Like, look, everyone thinks is awesome.
You're good.
Well, it was funny.
The drunker Rich caught then.
Then he was.
Not satisfied with my reaction to it, and which proceeded to just escalate throughout the night.
And I told him, like, 25 times, Rich, I love it.
Thank you so much.
It was amazing.
It was hilarious.
Well, he didn't like the hilarious part.
He wasn't supposed to be funny.
It was supposed to be a nice moment.
Because then he's just like, oh, gee, fucking funny, you know, huh?
And CJ's over there just like, it was funny.
It was fucking funny.
I think it then turned from him not appreciating my reaction to it to now we were just laughing at him.
It was funny.
Which then it just escalated from there.
But it, uh, yeah.
Shout out,
shout out Rich for the gift.
I don't know if you know this.
I don't know if you know this,
but I was on the bubble from pulling out and gifting you a seven foot long boa constrictor.
the night of
no after my best man's speech
these guys were they said
I think it's a good idea
I was on the fence after the gun incident
I was all down for it
I told me it's the best idea
and how were you gonna go about that
so I was going to you know
wrap up my speech and you know
just how I normally would
but then I was gonna say
so I wanted to get you guys
a gift and I was gonna pull out like
you know how they are in normally a big bag
I was gonna grab it and I was gonna pull it out
seven foot
brook constrictor
And then I was going to say, I got you this snake.
And I named him Ben Jr.
And he will be in your house in a giant tank for you guys to come home to from your honeymoon.
And then the whole crowd was going to go, yay.
That would have been insane.
That would have been insane.
I realized that I was already, like Alex did not want me to do it.
I was, it was just a classic.
It was like half people are like, you got to do it.
The other half is like, ooh, like, I don't know if that's a good idea.
And I was just on the fence.
And then it was just, I was like, ah, because I also, in my mind was like, I want to wrap my speech up with a touching, like, actual, not just a joke because, like, my whole speech was kind of a joke.
So I wanted to get serious, but then just leave it as a serious, nice message.
And I felt like the snake was going to take that away.
And I also, it might have tainted, it would have tainted my response to you.
It would have probably scared the crowd.
Yeah, to be fair, we called it off.
We called it off.
We didn't give a fuck about scaring you.
but we were pretty worried about scaring Greta.
Oh, you, Greta hates.
It could have been shocking for the crowd.
Yeah, it could have been a little jarring.
And I didn't know.
It gets loose.
When I was saying, when I was saying, yes, you should for sure do that.
I thought he was going to pull it out, capture your, capture the crowds, capture Greta's.
I wasn't going to put it around them.
No, no, no.
And then I thought you're going to be like, I got you a snake.
And then everyone's reactions, lull, and then you put it away, and that's it.
I think it would have been cool for the wedding, like having it.
Because some people would have liked it.
They could have came up.
Like, I don't know, but anyways, it was off the table.
No.
Good, good.
I'm glad I did.
Well, okay, okay.
So I also heard that there was another prank that got shut down.
Oh, so Gavin, when we get to your reception, we get my groom's dinner.
At the groom's dinner.
Oh, what?
Gavin was, Gavin was supposed to be on a jet ski.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
And ride in.
Bro.
With them.
And they spent all day setting this up.
All day.
Amazing.
Yeah.
And then they had the jet ski hooked up.
They had a bunch of, they had.
Everything ready to go. Dalton was with him, and then they pulled the plug, I guess.
Like, half, like, right away.
Gavin, like, wouldn't do it.
Gavin, five minutes before we had to leave.
He goes, I'm not doing it.
I'm not doing it.
You guys should have just given him a less scandalous costume and then.
Well, but, I mean, I could have told you that he wouldn't have done that.
But we set, we set the whole day up around it.
But he ain't trying to do.
He doesn't like.
Yeah, he doesn't.
And also, that's what I was like, I think if you would have just had a costume that
covered more than 4% of his body parts, I think he would have done it.
Okay, but I mean, he's not, not that it's not, like, he's not like, he's not like
Evan where they'll, like, prance around naked like that. Like, Gab is not, like, I don't know,
I just, I'm surprised that he even went the day of like, prepping. Yeah. Yeah. And so, yeah,
essentially he, he bailed. He didn't do it. Yep. And Evan was not happy about that because he,
he, he's, like, spent the whole day setting it up. Yeah. He spent the whole day getting it ready. And then
he bailes last second.
I'm surprised Ev didn't go,
all do it.
I know,
I was surprised too.
I think he was trying to not play a cool.
Yeah.
But then we shut down a second prank of gavs.
Did you hear about that one?
I heard,
I did hear about that one.
And that one,
I saw that and I saw that happening.
He stole a golf cart,
which you were about to need for photos.
And he went up to the top of D.L.
Mountain and was going to drive down
towards the tent.
dude and he asked me for my permission he said everyone says i should do it who said that he said
who should i run it he said i called him oh you okay so yes he came up to me and said should i
run it and i said absolutely not and he went oh really and i went absolutely not he still went up to
the top he's at the top with this golf cart i know gavin there's single track there's
there's rocks it's a sharp thing down he's in this fucking golf cart it's the wrong time and
All I'm thinking about...
Right before speeches.
No, it wasn't even before speeches.
It was before we even were going to walk out.
But all I'm thinking about is Gavin's going to bail out halfway down the mountain.
And this golf cart is going to go into the tent.
I had no part in him going up there in the first place.
I called him when I heard about it.
I go, dude, don't do it.
It's not worth it.
Like, it's not going to be funny.
It's just not right.
Like, let's do something else.
Yeah, the risk to reward on that way.
It was so low.
That's what I told them.
So then he was like, okay, yeah, yeah.
then he went down and parked it.
So who told him to do that?
That one is just like...
It was just like no...
I'm like, it's gonna be silent.
It's gonna be weird.
Like, I don't know, just wasn't it.
He wouldn't have just set that up himself.
I stopped it.
I stopped it.
That's where I agree.
I don't think Gab would...
Someone told him.
I should ride a...
I stopped him.
That's, yeah.
But like, worst case, yeah,
like he bails, he gets hurt.
It hits the tent.
It hits maybe people.
And then, like, also best worst case,
he just goes down and everyone goes,
what the fuck was that?
It just would have been,
like, there's no noise.
Is he always messing around like that?
It just was, yeah.
So it was,
but then he ended up stealing your Porsche.
And that was so...
I think it was legendary.
Epic.
That was sick.
So I'm going to say,
who sent Jack to go get my Lincoln from my house?
That was me.
I just felt like we should have ran it back.
I felt like we should have...
Why would it be funny to run it back twice?
It would have been so awesome.
It would have been so awesome.
You drive Kent's car all the fucking way there just to do a donut with it?
I thought it would have been awesome to have.
Like, what the fuck the Lincoln's back doing?
Don't have anything.
I told you.
That would have been awesome.
I told you the day before I'm selling the car.
It's getting shipped up through auction house.
I was trying to just get Ken to be on board with it.
But he was like, nope, that thing's sold.
It's not this, that.
I told you don't touch that car.
It's sold.
But it's not sold.
It's not sold.
It's not locked down like Fort Knox.
That's not sold.
It wasn't going to do shit.
They wouldn't even have noticed.
But anyway, so like the place was locked down like Fort Knox.
Jack couldn't get it.
It was a whole.
thing. So then we were like, okay, so that's off the table. But I think the Porsche is cooler.
It was legendary, bro. It looked like unbelievable.
Seeing those lights on your wing and stuff.
Have you guys seen the pictures of it?
Yeah, it looks sick, bro. It's crazy.
You have to think that was cool.
This photo of it crashed in the ditch might actually be the craziest photo I have on my
camera roll. I do want to say it just to like clarify.
Look at this. Look at this.
This is so messed up.
ass picture. That's a sick picture. And I do just want to clarify, there was no goals to prank you.
It was never about pranking you. Like, we're not trying to prank you on your wedding. It was more so
that we had pressure from people and even your parents, your parents, your parents and your mom.
I'm not kidding. Your mom told me one day when we were sent at lunch. So what do you guys have
planned for Ben's wedding? And I wasn't like, you know, we have a few ideas. And know what I said as I
said, I don't know if we should though. Like, I don't want to like mess with anything or like, you know,
I don't want to make ruin Greta's day or whatever.
And she goes, oh, well, he's expecting it.
So I was like, okay, well, I'm serious.
I'm expecting, you know, I don't leave the house without expecting something.
Like, you obviously had the jet skis.
What's like another thing that does, that makes it at a memorable experience?
That steps it up even more and makes it a C-boy's wedding.
Yeah.
So that's kind of how, yeah, what we were going for there.
I 100% agree.
and obviously, like,
I could care less about my car,
like anything breaking or anything...
It didn't even get broken.
I could care less about anything like that.
It would have just been like...
I mean, it would have ruined the day
if somebody would have gotten hurt.
Yeah, right?
And so it's like, obviously you just try and...
Even when we're filming videos,
like we don't do things
that are going to get somebody hurt
because they're not worth it.
It'll ruin the video.
So in watching this,
obviously it went,
well, but like in Greta's eyes, she's married me.
Like, she expects craziness all the time.
And people even said that like, you signed up for this.
And she wasn't, she wasn't mad about that.
She was just like, I'm just so glad nobody got hurt when Gavin was doing this.
Yeah, because like there was people running around, you know, like essentially like running away from this madman doing donuts and the four sheet.
T3R.
I was running away.
You know, but you had like the, the, even like our film crew, like, my.
my filmers or my, my photographers were like getting in there, right?
Yeah, look how close they are to him.
No, and they're getting in there and that's on them, right?
And also, Gavin's a horrible driver.
Exactly.
And they're expecting a professional.
Right, exactly.
So, you know, and I don't care.
He was pedal to the floor.
So, you know, he almost hit that fucking ski lift, though.
He was probably two feet from that.
That was insane.
Yep.
So, like, obviously, like, it was legendary.
But, like, you know, in retrospect, just glad that nothing did happen.
But, you know, I understand, like, where Greta's coming from of, like, you know,
she wasn't, like, super stoked about it, obviously of just, like, the risk to reward for her.
Wasn't there.
Wasn't there, right?
Yeah, probably the same way.
If somebody gets hurt or Gavin hits the ditch and, like, rolls a car and he or his passenger were to get hurt, right?
It ruins the wedding.
And it's like.
I would have sucked.
Yeah.
But that didn't happen, obviously.
So it's like, party on.
So now.
Which essentially just goes back to Gavin driving the golf cart down.
the hill, like the risk to reward of like,
that's what I told him no.
I was like, that's why I called him and told him no.
Exactly.
Him doing donuts in my Porsche was so chaotic,
such a cherry on top of like a seat,
what you would expect at like the Seaboy's wedding of like,
holy shit, this is a crazy car doing donuts in dirt.
Yeah.
Throwing gravel everywhere.
And then he proceeds to crash it into the ditch.
All right.
Which I knew was there.
So earlier in the day, we had taken photos in this little spot that was kind of up the hill.
But to get to that spot, we had to walk through the ditch to get there, which I didn't
really know was there because every time we're there, it's mostly in the winter.
And this is just a drainage ditch of all the water coming down the hill.
And then it's filled with rocks to stop erosion.
And I didn't really know that this was there.
You can't really see it because it's kind of like covered in grass.
So earlier in the day, I saw it and I had to carry Greta through it.
So when I saw him start spinning donuts,
well, it starts by like the fireworks are going off.
And I just hear,
V-hmm, pretty distinct sound.
And I'm like, oh, here we go.
Turn around, and I just see the light bar of my Porsche.
And I'm like, oh, it's happening.
You pick a great time to do it during the fireworks.
First person to run up is Evan going,
I have nothing to do with this.
I have nothing to do with this.
Like trying to clear his name.
Clear his name right off the bat,
even though he probably was like, yeah, shreds do it.
Yeah, of course.
It was actually an awkward
five minutes there where that car won't let you do
anything unless it's warm.
It won't, yeah.
So he's like, wait for it to warm up.
Trying to do shit.
And so like the fireworks get done.
And I like, you know, I walk over there
ready to watch the show of what's about to happen
now with the Porsche.
And I'm watching,
Gavs sit in the driver's seat,
wait for it to warm up.
And he's like tweaking.
Like he's like looking out.
And I was like, he's going to bail for sure.
Because it was just like the longest.
ice of all time, right?
And then you pulled up.
Two minutes or three minutes of, like,
waiting for it to get up to temp.
If it's not up to temp, it won't rev out.
Well, he didn't bail out, and he proceeded to go
so, so insanely hard.
Are you driven that car hard?
I've never heard it on the limit.
No, I haven't heard that.
And I was just like, so when he was going to bail out,
I was like, if he doesn't do this, like, I'm doing it.
Oh, really?
Yeah, I was just like, the car's here.
Like, I have to do it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And, uh, the crowd like this.
And then he proceeds to do it, and I would not have gone that hard.
Like, I wouldn't have been...
Yeah, because it's your car.
Yeah, I would have maybe had a little more of, like, vehicle remorse.
But, like, as I'm watching it happen, and I'm, like, watching him swing over here
and almost hit, like, the bunny lift over there, I'm like, oh, this...
Like, he's all over the place.
Like, instead of just, you know, doing donuts in one spot, like he did in, like, Ken's Lincoln Continental, right?
I knew that there was a ditch over on the left side.
Same.
No one else did.
So he proceeds to drift.
He didn't. I drift around.
Drift around and then the car vanishes.
And I go, we gotta watch this.
And that is when now my reaction
takes over to watching it fall off into the ditch.
This unfortunately is not,
this is the whole video which I kind of want to watch here.
And then we'll watch the reaction.
Because I, Alondra and I were watching fireworks
and I heard your Porsche rev up.
And I, she was like, you just left me.
And I was like, it was like moth to a flame.
I was close.
in action. You know, I was standing there with Greta, too, as we were watching him swing around.
And, you know, like, obviously, I didn't leave Greta, like, the whole day.
No, yeah. You're, we're with each other, like, the whole day. And then when he flew off into the ditch,
I took off sprinting because I was... Natural reaction, yeah. Like, like, in my, like, I just took over.
I'm like, what the fuck just happened? And then we can, we can watch it play out.
That's true. All the camera flashes made it way more cable.
too. Look at Dalton go, dude.
I'm like, oh fuck, he's coming out.
Right here. Right there.
He was like two feet away from hitting.
It looks so good and just...
Watch the flames right here.
Insane.
I think right here.
Right there.
Oh my god.
Falls off.
Dude.
Falls off into the ditch.
As this was happening, I was a lot.
like he's fine as long as
he doesn't go in the ditch.
And then he went in the ditch.
I think the worst part is he did all that with the windows down.
What you don't really see is probably
five feet behind him is where like the rock garden starts.
Oh, so he missed it by just a few feet.
Dude, he met he like I can't believe that there wasn't rocks where he was
because it was still like a little drainage.
So when he first started that,
the venue manager came like running out because they had spent like all that time
like making that grass all nice.
Yeah.
And he was like,
directing him to go further and further back.
So that's kind of...
That's where he got a little bit closer to there.
So he was listening somewhat, yeah.
Yeah, I want to watch the reaction now
in sync with that.
Holy shit, this is a great video.
Dude, that's insane.
It's insane.
To be fair, Steve Hamilton,
if it makes you feeling better,
Steve Hamilton says the GT3RS is like the toughest car.
Oh, I'm not worried about the car one bit.
I care less about the car.
Oh my God.
Yeah, man!
We're right there.
Dude, this is insane.
Watch good footage.
Hey, go, go, go!
That was the ditch.
It's so crazy.
Dude, it was insane.
The original GAV was,
you're worried about your car, Gavin.
the one when it went over the ditch
the high pitch squeak
was you were worried about Gavin Gavin
Gavin. You were like, oh shit.
What a legend.
That was so epic, dude.
It was insane.
It was so epic.
Yeah, I mean, just, it was like literally,
when Alondin I got home,
just laying in bed, I was like,
damn, I can't believe today.
This whole weekend was real.
And I was, you know, just a part of it.
But it was so, it was so special, so cool.
I thought it was a wedding I've been to.
Yeah.
It was so cool.
How lit was the band?
The band was really good.
My favorite part.
Because me having gone through a wedding, the live band kept everyone on the dance floor,
glued to the dance floor all night from the first song they started.
Dude.
Everyone could not get enough.
I left the dance floor like I was missing a concert.
I paid a thousand bucks for a ticket for.
I got to get to the bathroom and get back to the dance floor.
And the nice part of what a band is they have natural breaks where they go,
oh, we're gonna take 10 minutes and everybody takes a break.
And then the band starts, and everyone was like, yes.
It was like mothed to a flame.
Yeah, it was awesome.
Yeah, I think that was maybe like my favorite part of like the reception of like having the band.
Because I was, I was on the fence about doing the band because like we'd been to a couple
weddings where like the DJs were so good and had like such a good curated like set list.
And I was like kind of like skeptical because like the band was like kind of just a huck and pray of like what they play.
Yeah, true.
You could only like, you know, request a couple songs and the rest was like kind of up to them.
Dude, it was, I think, the best decision that Greta made.
I mean, Greta did like the whole wedding.
Like, I got to give credit where credits do of like the job that she did planning this entire wedding.
Like, dude, she could straight up be a wedding planner.
Yeah.
For anyone.
And it'd be the most incredible wedding ever.
And so, like, she did such a good job of like every single detail to it.
And the band, I think, was my favorite part of, of the.
reception of just like, dude, at the end of the night, there was like still probably 300 people
there. Yeah, people didn't want to. Start out with like 350. A couple people fell off, obviously,
or 250 maybe at the end of the night. Yeah, because I got a bunch of these shirts. I got like
120 or 150 of these shirts thinking that like that would be everyone at the end of the reception
that's like leaving all at once, you know, once the banquets. And they could all get a shirt on their
way out. These shirts were gone by like 10 o'clock. Yeah, thank God Alander saw them and like grabbed
them right away. I mean, obviously I probably could have found one from you. But I mean, yeah, she said
they were gone immediately. Yeah, instantly. Yeah. So like so many people that were like there at the
end of the night didn't have them. So that, which was like my gauge of like, holy crap, there's so many people
still here. Yeah, dude, the dance floor was packed. Grandpa Ron was breaking it down. He was. He didn't
stop dancing for hours. Dude, he was going, he was going too hard. He always goes so hard. He was going
so hard. As soon as the dance started
he was like... He loves dancing. He loves dancing. He was putting on
the craziest show as he does. He loves dancing.
He was pulling, you know, our
girls out there, Greta out there. He's pulling
Greta's mom out there. He was
grabbing anyone. Yeah, didn't have
a man already holding their hand. Yep.
He was like, get out there. Even
yours. Oh, yeah.
Look at him. Look at him. He's just having the fucking time
of his life. He's
breaking down, man. He just wouldn't stop moving.
But yeah. What the hell is going on here?
But yeah, I mean,
live band genuinely,
if you want people to party with you,
the whole reception,
the live band is the move.
100%.
Dude,
also the lights are crazy.
I would recommend it to anyone.
I think I didn't even maybe fully appreciate
how beautiful it was in there when I was there.
Like,
I just,
it was so much to take in.
There was a lot of,
every picture I look at,
and I'm like,
whoa.
Yeah.
Which was all Greta.
Like,
she just like,
she thought out every single detail of it.
And it was just like,
you know,
her dream wedding.
coming to life.
How about that last minute dance that you got us going on?
Yeah.
A day before the, or two days before the wedding, you're like, oh yeah, by the way, guys,
I want you to basically come in and mob the dance floor right after Greta and your first dance.
And the way you had to get started was Ken comes onto the floor and he's sweeping.
And I'm not kidding.
People were like, what is this guy doing?
What's Ken doing?
Like one of the musicians was like,
Oh, yeah, yeah.
So it's,
like, what's this guy doing?
So Greta and I's first dance
ends with confetti cannons going off
and like falling down as we're like finishing our dance.
So I had like this idea with Greta of like,
how could we get the groomsmen incorporated in
of like kind of a shock factor?
And I was like,
well,
I think we do like a flash mob dance with them.
And so we were trying to think of like how we could incorporate them
into like the end of ours where it like,
kept people on their toes of like, you know, not like looking away yet.
I was like, I think Ken's got to come in with a broom to clean up the confetti.
Those first 10 seconds was like probably one of the most awkward 10 seconds of my life.
I mean, have you guys seen the photos of it of Ken?
Yeah, dude, I haven't yet.
But Ken, I just want to let you know you're lucky that we decided to all come out on the floor because we were thinking about just leaving out there.
I assumed that's what was going to happen.
Look at him.
Look at him.
This photo right here.
Greta sold it too.
Greta was like,
what are you doing?
Like she knew all along.
Look at the band.
The band lady's like,
what the hell's going on?
Even that ball guy.
Yeah.
Like, what is this guy doing?
That's the DJ who's like in on it.
Yeah,
we spent like fucking three hours
practicing this.
So you thought we were going to just do the three hours of practice for fake?
Absolutely.
Just that way you would go out and do that?
I would not put that.
past you. We did run by it did run through our heads. My favorite part was when you said yeah so this was like
Tuesday come over. Greta's going to meet us at the shop at eight so here I am thinking greta has this
whole choreographed dance because Greta is a dance teacher and we show up and then you're like all
guys what are you thinking what should we do? Yeah. We're all like we all suck at dancing and so it literally
we came up with it on the spot which we made you look like you're having fun. Yeah dude. Ken you're
Ken, you say that you were like the first 10 seconds was the most...
Look at you.
You were so happy right here, Ken?
But like all the dirty looks I'm getting from people.
Ken's just facing the conversation.
It was like, get out there.
I believe you.
Well, I heard that.
I heard it.
So as me and Grutter kind of hold each other, I just hear someone go, get off the floor.
To Ken.
Because Ken comes in to like start cleaning it up.
I don't know.
That guy feels he's like, oh, shit.
I will say this.
So when I pitched the idea to the guys, I said, hey.
Gretta and I have this idea.
What are the odds that you come in and do this dance?
Everyone, as you can imagine, was like, dude, no, no.
We do not want to do that, you know, because then I had to call in the rest of my groomsmen,
like, Brandt, for example.
Brent, here's our idea.
And he's like, bro, what?
I don't want to do that.
Nobody wanted to do that.
It ended with Brandt, especially being, like, the most stoked about it.
But, yeah, it was fun, dude.
He's so happy.
That's fun.
Look at how happy.
is. And the whole crowd, dude, like, the whole crowd was not expecting it. It happens. And it's just like one of
those like wow factor moments that is what I live for. Yeah. See, I would say that was another
C-boys touch to it. Yeah. Well, also really, you know, being nice, I would say that was one of the
nicer ones. And yeah, it was great, dude. I, like, all the guys were just like, oh, dude, I'm so
nervous for this dance. Like, I'm, are you nervous? I'm like, pro, I'm not nervous about this
freaking dance. I got to go up and talk in front
all these guys. What do you mean?
I honestly wasn't nervous at all.
I was like, we were all up here together. It's going to be fun.
Dude, that was so awesome. That was
electric. So I appreciate you guys for
doing that. Breaking it down.
That was so fun. Yeah, it was so fun.
Oh, sick.
Yeah, the first look was spending. Do you guys
talk about that? Oh, yeah.
That was fun. It was just, I mean,
I love to see the kid in a dress, you know?
Dude, he was, yeah. He was so
about it.
What you think about...
We originally were trying to get Ev.
I heard about the...
Okay, Ev would have been funny.
Rich would have been...
Rich.
Ev wouldn't do it.
Gavin wouldn't do it.
And then Rich was down.
Rich was 100% in.
Jack was looking for a wedding dress.
He unfortunately couldn't find a very vague wedding dress.
So we were like, it was tight on Jack when he sent us the picture.
We're like, Spenny is...
He tried it on?
Hold on.
Can I see the photo?
Can we pop up the photo of Jack?
We can find it.
Put up on us Penny, too, please.
I paid for a veil.
Where was the veil at?
They picked it up, but they didn't use it.
I don't know why it was.
Yeah, it was tough because we were trying to, after the gun incident,
we were being really careful about everything we were doing.
Execution.
It was supposed to be at Greta's.
And then I was like, nope, just send them over here.
Send them to Ryan's.
We're not going to have Spenny walking around at Greta's families in a wedding dress.
So I had it sped up, which luckily I did fill in the her photographers and stuff.
so I had them say like, oh, it's the first thing.
I figured it probably wasn't Greta, wasn't expecting Spenny.
His Spenny was the only one of Fib, and we knew he'd be down.
And him going for the hug.
Well, it was so perfect.
I heard that Spenny shut it down initially because he was added to the chat.
And so like finding this wedding dress was in a group chat with Jack and C.J.
and whoever else.
And CJ adds Spenny in.
I just learned about like, hey,
All right, Spenny will fit in the wedding dress.
And then Spenny initially thinks, he initially thinks, I have to wear a fucking wedding dress for the entire wedding?
That's what he took it as.
I was like, no.
But I was like, why is this guy not want to do this?
It's for 30 seconds.
And then once I was like, bro, it's for literally two minutes.
He goes, oh, oh, I'm down for that.
I thought you wanted me to wear it the whole time.
I was like, dude, I'm not going to Ben's wedding in a way.
That would have been insane.
That would have been too.
Imagine.
That'd have been too much.
Yeah, that'd have been insane.
But yeah, Spenny looked beautiful.
And so how did Spenny end up on your honeymoon?
He's in the dress.
He's at your honeymoon.
Yeah.
I don't know.
It was pretty bizarre that my two brides from that day ended up on my honeymoon.
That is crazy.
Was that planned before?
No, it wasn't planned at all.
So, so Greta and I go to the south of France on our honeymoon.
And it was going to be like a 10-day vacation.
and around like day seven we were just sitting at dinner a bottle of wine deep and we're like this is
so much fun like we loved like spending the time together obviously just her and I but we're like
we got to bring like our friend group back here and just like run this back with like our friends
and um it had initially like started out where like i was trying to get her like her cousin and
and one of my good friends to, like, come out and, like, surprise Greta, like, for the last,
like, day or two.
And, uh, they just couldn't make it work with their schedule.
And I told Greta that.
And she was like, oh, that would have been so much fun.
Like, I wish they were coming.
And I was like, I mean, I'm sure we could call in someone for Santro Pae, which is, like,
the party town.
Because that's originally how it started.
Like, oh, we're going to, like, this party town.
It'd be so fun to be, like, partying with all of our friends.
Yeah.
I was like, I got a feeling I know someone that would show up.
And so I just text Spenny
And I was like, what are the odds that you show up
And party with Greta and I and San Trope?
And then he facetimes me with Tolita
Yeah, his girlfriend.
And so Greta and I are sitting there
And he goes, you guys actually want us to?
And we're like, dude, it'd be so fun, pull up.
And they were like, actually, we're down.
I was like, of course you're down, Spenny.
The dude runs the loosest program of all time.
And I knew Spenny would do it because
He was just, he was at home in Canada.
And when he's at home in Canada, like he just
looking for something.
He's always looking at
anywhere but America.
Spenny is always trying to drop in
and do something fun.
That was his reasoning.
He facetiming and goes,
guess what I'm doing?
Going to France tomorrow.
And I'm like,
that's insane.
He goes, yeah,
I can't go to the States,
but I can go to France.
And then like,
he sent a snap.
How much you think that costs him
to go to France?
How long were they there?
Three days?
Six grand.
Yeah, maybe,
maybe like five or so.
But he,
essentially, like,
texted Greta and I
the next morning.
you know and we kind of thought they were we kind of thought they were joking just because like we were drunk
they were like oh yeah I suppose trying to feel out if we were joking or not and like the next morning
I just get a text from Spenny and just goes trips booked I'll be there on Tuesday and so we were supposed
to leave on Thursday that's what I thought of that you were supposed to come home yeah we're coming home
on Thursday and we were like I can't tell if they're being serious or not like we're on the other side
of the world right like are they actually about to pull up right and so sure enough Tuesday
or Wednesday comes around, they were like,
all right, we're in town.
That's actually, what are we doing?
But I was like, holy crap, you guys are actually here.
So then at that point, Greta and I pushed our flights back a couple of days
because we were like, you didn't communicate.
Yeah, we can't leave.
When you FaceTime me, we were on our way to go film picking up the giveaway.
And you turn the camera and saw Spine.
What the frick?
Yeah, right.
It was almost like, what?
So Spenny and I were sitting there, and it started by like, you know,
they meet us in San Josepay.
We were like, all right, let's go to grab lunch.
And I got us like a boat for the day and everything.
I was like, I mean, if Spenny's here, we got to do it right.
Yeah, we got to do this right.
Like, there are so many different things that like Greta and I did throughout the trip.
That was like just, you know, her and I.
But when Spenny and Toledo were coming, I was like, oh, we got to like do this big of like.
Yeah, go do some fun things like for more people.
Yeah, like out about where Greta and I were kind of just like chilling most of the time, which is nice.
And Spenny and I were sitting at lunch.
And I go, does anyone know you're here?
And he's like, no, I don't know how to tell him.
Like, I'm kind of nervous.
Like, how do we do the unveil?
I was like, oh, well, we're going on the boat here in an hour.
Let's FaceTime him out on the boat.
I feel like that'll be like the best when we got out there.
I was like, all right, now's the time.
I FaceTime C.
And I was like, yo, look at this gay little Frenchman I found.
Yeah, when you said that, I'm like, what the fuck?
What?
I'm thinking like, who is he going to turn the camera on?
And I'm driving, so you couldn't even see my face because it was connected to Apple Play.
But, yeah, that shit was lit.
That was so fun.
That's when I, I mean, I was.
Of course, envious and jealous of you going.
But when Spenny was there, and you guys were just, he sent me, he sent me like 15 snaps a day of you guys just at dinner.
And they're like, whipping the table clouds and whatever.
And I'm like, damn.
I literally text when I said, I don't know if I want to see anymore.
I'm so jealous.
Once Spenny and Toledo came, we kind of like, you know, altered.
It went from honeymoon to homie moon.
Yeah, for sure.
Which is what we were calling it, which I think normalize a homey moon.
like obviously spend like the you know the bit of time like just you and you know your wife or
husband or whatever but we we were calling it like the after party of the honeymoon when when like
when the homies showed up yeah wait that's a good idea we should do that for our the next honeymoon
we have to go on like you take a week and then for like the last weekend all of us come to wherever
yeah i mean it's and it's kind of just like you know obviously you spend the time together and then
that's like the after party for yeah and so once they showed up we kind of like
altered from like us chilling to like now we're in party mode like we're doing it big we're in
central bay which is like this crazy party town on like the beach and uh essentially like what these
places start as is like you go out to lunch and you're sitting there normal you're surrounded
by these people that just got off their yachts everyone's kind of just chilling like normal the music
is out of two 30 minutes later at 3 30 the music's out of four well 30 minutes later
you know, once you're like almost done eating.
The music is at a six.
They time it out perfect.
They time it out perfect.
And by 4 o'clock or 4.30, everyone's finishing.
Because like Europeans eat lunch late and then they eat dinner late.
So they eat at like three and then they're lunch at three and then they eat dinner at 10.
Oh.
And so, you know, by the end of your lunch, every single place we went to, the DJs would have the music cranked all the way up.
the servers are running around,
getting everyone to stand up and stand on the tables,
and like spinning around.
And then like each song,
there'd be like a moment where like all of the servers would like also be up on tables,
like clapping,
like getting like the vibes going.
And that was every single lunch that started out normal
and would end with you partying on the tables.
And like people are ordering bottles and like just like flexing and being rich and shit.
Yeah.
And Spenny and I and Greta and Toledo are.
over here. Yeah, drinking water. I'm like, I'm like, we'll take a drink. We'll split it by four, though.
No, but we, uh, you know, then we would be partying on the tables. And that was every single lunch and
every single dinner. It would start out normal. And then by the end of your dinner, it would be like
going to Spankies, which is like the nicest restaurant in our area, which you, it's formal, right?
You like sit down and it's very like classy and formal. That's like what pretty much all the restaurants
started as. And it ends at like Roadhouse. So do they time it out? Like,
straight up.
Everyone eating at the same time?
Yeah, I was wondering that.
Do you have a reservation?
Yeah, yeah, but like, it's like these like beach clubs that like they don't even start serving
lunch until three o'clock.
So it's like if you, if you were to show up at 4.30 for lunch, you're showing up at the
party.
Yeah, yeah.
But I had no idea any of this was like happening.
Expected or happening because we would like eat for like most of the trip.
We were eating at like normal American times.
So like you go out to lunch at like one o'clock.
Well, by the end of it's three.
clock it's not it had the party hasn't started they just started playing music yeah so like we pretty much had
this whole new experience in the after party of the homie moon of like the dinner and lunch club atmosphere
party yeah which was fun i mean it was just like fun to do that with uh with some like more friends
and like experience that did the time time change get you yeah it did for the first couple days
what time was there when like relative to our time here it's seven hours ahead so like i would pretty
much being done with my day and I'd see you guys like just start ripping which was nice too because
then like I'm sleeping for most of your guys is yeah that's true and did you do like any sightseeing
anything like that went to like Monaco you guys heard it like Monaco it's like yeah do any car
week is yeah yeah in there no I didn't do any gambling but like just mostly just like people watch
and just like watch all the richest people in the world exist did you see the clown that runs
around and hides from gay people?
That's funny.
Damn it!
I thought I was going to get him.
What?
Oh, you haven't seen it?
Oh, that's funny.
Well, I wouldn't, I couldn't have seen it.
I've never been there.
Yeah, no, it was, it was sick.
I think, um, I think like the, just like the coolest part about it was like, one,
just like truly unplugging and just like being there completely disconnected from, you know,
everything else going on and just like hanging out with Greta.
and then at the end of it, Spani and Delita.
But there's something about experiencing other cultures
and just other environments that open your mind up so much.
That's hard to explain until you experience it.
And like I want you guys to like CJ on you,
when you go on your honeymoon,
like I think you should take two weeks off and go somewhere
that you wouldn't go just like to Florida with Alex
just like in the middle of winter.
Like I don't know,
something about like kind of getting out of your like comfort zone.
and like experiencing new things.
And then I just kind of like came back with like a different perspective,
especially after like hanging out and like seeing hanging out in the areas that we were
and like seeing like the wealth and the way that people operate and just realizing like
how normal they are, you know, of just like, you know, normal families.
But anything is possible or that you could achieve that.
Like we're in the same area as is our boss actually, the owner of Google.
Oh, really?
Yeah, it's $450 million yacht.
sitting, like, just right out in front. And, like, I was just, like, kind of just sitting,
like, by the pool, like, looking at them, just thinking, like, man, one of the richest guys
in the world is, like, right in front of me right now. And just kind of, like, being in that
area is just, I don't know, it just, like, gives you a different perspective and kind of just,
like, shows you what's possible. But if there is a time to experience that, it was, like, the honeymoon
and obviously you guys held it down for me, so I had the luxury of taking more time off,
which is great.
But yeah,
I would say that I should do that.
I want to go so bad.
So bad.
What up?
What's up?
What's it good?
You can hop any run tech back there?
Yeah,
it has been.
Yeah,
man.
Honestly,
it feels like it's been like a month.
It has.
Like you've been gone a month.
It doesn't feel like even two weeks.
Like it just has been,
didn't feel right.
We missed you here.
We missed having you.
You guys,
you guys,
thank you,
bro.
Yeah,
I miss it.
Though,
like,
towards the end of it,
you know,
it's like,
that's like,
that's like,
nice part about having that much time off is like the first part is like a vacation.
The second part is maybe like reflection of like, you know, like reset.
Yeah, a little reset.
And then like the third part you could call it is like excited to get back and do it.
Yeah, like gear and back up and like, you know, it gives you like a different different appreciation.
For sure.
Or it especially just like knowing how lucky I am to get back and do this.
you know that you're in like the right spot when you're like on vacation and you're excited to like
for sure get home and and get back to like doing what we do which which is which is kind of resets your
perspective you know because like in the in the midst of it you can kind of like lose sight of that
like how how thankful you are how lucky we are going on trips like that it definitely uh gives you a
good good reset and I'm just always excited to like get back to it
back to what we're doing.
I was excited.
I think one,
we were gone all weekend
NASCAR.
So I was excited
to get back to work.
But then I was,
that you were going to be back to.
I'm like,
oh,
we're back.
Like our full squad has returned.
Back to normal,
finally.
And I'm just like,
oh,
I was just so excited.
Some 41,
just fucking excited
to get to work this morning.
Yeah,
I was too.
I was Jones and,
dude,
I was like dreaming about it
last night.
Did you drive the back way
like we told you to?
I did not look at,
The track.
I figured you would.
When I drove by, yeah, so I know something's going on.
The track is under construction because I've been getting text.
I've been getting text from people saying like, what the actual fuck are you guys doing?
Yeah.
So I know it's crazy.
I know it's big, but I don't know to like what magnitude or like even what they're doing.
And honestly, we don't really either to the point where we've been gone since Friday
and they've been working all weekend.
They have some of the biggest equipment.
not that we've ever seen at the track,
just some of the biggest equipment in general.
I was out there on Tuesday
when they were still really getting started with stuff.
And like today pulling in,
I'm like, nope, not going to look.
I had to turn my head away
just because I want to see like the full finished product.
CJ and I really don't know.
I'm completely uninvolved.
It was concerning to hear that both of,
well, I guess Evan didn't say,
but the mic said he doesn't know what's going on.
Mike's the guy who's supposed to be.
He's involved.
That's what CJ had to try to figure out.
I could explain it to you,
but you probably get bored.
Friday, but yeah.
Don't explain it.
I just want to see it.
Mike Sennie is at.
Evans project.
No, no, not Evan.
I was not involved with it.
So now it's just Spenny's project?
Mike Spenny and Dahlton are manning the project.
I'm manning it because somebody needed someone to,
somebody needed someone within the company.
Look on your face.
Yeah.
This is concerning.
I'm not the,
I said,
this is your guys's track.
Do what you want.
We did have a blessing from Calvin himself, though.
I said it's not,
it's not my job to,
figure out how big a jump should be or how
small a jump should be. It's your guys's job.
You guys are the ones hitting it.
Do what you think. Well, how the hell is Spenny
manning this project? And he's not even in
the country. That was the biggest unfortunate
part was that he dipped out.
I was like, come on. Wow,
I'm intrigued. Other than that,
we were fairly productive. Dude, I have so many
questions. Ken got a new car.
Oh, you did figure that out.
No, it was a rental.
No. No, I did.
Yeah, Ken, Ken BFW mocked you.
It's fucking fast.
Where the hell did that come from?
It's, of course, a hybrid.
Came from Chicago.
Yeah.
I meant the idea of, I meant the more the concept of you getting...
It's the same car that I have.
Essentially, just a wagon?
No, I got an M5.
His is better.
Sorry, dude.
His is faster.
It is pretty fast.
It is pretty fast.
But of course, it's the ultimate Ken car.
You know he loves a wagon.
Yeah.
When he pulled up.
So get this, we're at Ken's house, moving Gavin in.
Oh, yeah.
A mess.
Oh, this.
Congrats, Ken.
I heard about your new roommate.
roommate.
Fucking Ken, of course, is being so, I've already talked about enough on the podcast,
but basically he was being very hard to work with.
He had his location.
Oh, he was doing the focus RS thing.
Yeah, he was doing the focus.
He was running it back.
Oh, I got a gift.
It's going to be here by noon.
This, that.
No, I did not say it's going to be here by noon.
He called it a prank, which is, I was.
He said after lunch, which to us meant like right away after lunch.
So we're moving quick.
We get up early.
We do all this stuff.
We get into his house.
And then we end up basically sitting.
there till 8 o'clock. Let me give you my side of the story. You guys are planning, okay, we're going
to go pick up Mike's truck Monday morning. The only reason we were picking up that truck was to get
rid of your house. So I'm planning this perfectly. I was like, okay, it's two hours to go get
Mike's truck. They're going to spend 45 minutes. Another two hours back. Okay, I should get back
just a couple hours after they get back to the shop. And you were in Chicago? Essentially,
we had two, both parties were trying to do a prank. So it made, it made the process harder,
But in the end, it made it better because Ken finally did it.
He brought a GoPro.
He solo GoProed it, and it was gold.
You didn't use any of the footage that I took in my phone and I gave the Pat.
You didn't give any.
I didn't see any of that footage.
When I got the file back, Rob didn't use any of the GoPro.
I put the GoPro footage in.
Well, either way, it was.
I sent it to Pat.
Well, Pat was off last week.
Yeah, we also had one of our editors gone last week, too.
So we were down a lot of people last week.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Big Ranch was out.
Yeah, Big Ranch left, too.
But yeah, Ken, it worked out perfect.
You guys are firing, though.
So did you actually plan that where Ken was like, here I am on my way to Chicago.
I was going to buy Shreds a truck, which was a sick truck.
You're going to buy him a truck?
It was a sick truck.
And it just so happened to be simultaneously when Shreds was moving into your house.
Yeah, it is crazy.
And then also I just...
How did you shift from buying Shred's a truck?
It's a great segment.
And then he pulls up.
Everything was as real as possible because we didn't know what the fuck was going on.
Ken didn't know what was going on inside his house.
So I've been BMW shopping for a while.
Since before or after I got a BMW?
Before.
And a dealer demo M5 with 500 miles popped up on it for a really good deal.
It wasn't at the dealership that I bought one from it, was it?
No, it was at Bill Jacobs.
Okay.
Bill Jers or who that is.
The BMW dealer there.
And it was like really good deal.
It says like, fuck it.
I'm going to go buy this.
So how did it go from you buying shreds a truck to you buy yourself a wagon BMD?
I love that you added that dialogue.
Because it worked.
It was like, ah, fuck it, Gavin.
Aren't you getting a divorce so that he were like...
Yeah.
Just it wouldn't have made sense.
And Gavin was trying to get him to stay with his mom.
It was just whole thing.
But it's times moved on.
Gavin's also got a new girlfriend.
So Shred 80's getting a divorce from his Vegas wife.
And then he's got a new chick.
Yeah, he's got a new girlfriend.
And Ken, you're getting a divorce from Shred 80's mom.
And he's single.
And you got a BMW wagon.
As anyone does, that gets a divorce,
immediately go out and get a sports card.
And I got it wrapped Matt Black.
Shut the fuck up.
It's stealthy-up.
Yeah.
No.
He's mugging you.
Same wheels, too.
No, I'm getting Vossens.
Nice.
But you know what you have Vossons?
Here's, here's, here's, you got a black BMW and you, you wrapped it Matt Black?
Well, no, it's set in PPP.
That's what mine is, Ken.
Big body beamer.
It looks so good.
It's a big body.
It's for a big guy.
like Ken.
The fuck are we doing?
I feel like no one laughed in my joke.
Ken does what all men do after a divorce.
Immediately go out and buy a sports car.
That's funny.
Dude, but on the comments on that video,
people were just like, good to see Ken just genuinely happy.
And then Dr. David, clean grind the rail.
Heard about that.
That was about as clean as possible.
That's a beautiful thing.
Oh, the giveaway winner took the Mustang?
Yeah.
He's a farmer.
Is that a surprise to anyone else?
No, not surprised.
Once he was fucking sick.
He could, no, it was sick, but I figured just like, I don't know.
I figured somebody, where's he already has a pickup?
He was in Wisconsin.
He's a Wisconsin farmer.
He's already got a pickup.
Once we threw that YZ in there, though, I was like, chalk for sure.
But yeah, yeah, yeah.
I guess it makes sense that the Mustangs more.
He didn't even hesitate.
105.
10.
Hesitate.
Yeah.
He said Mustang.
Wow.
Boom.
He was very stoked.
It was awesome.
Okay, that's sick.
I got some more questions.
Oh, you guys met Leah Block?
Yeah.
And she was sick.
Freds.
Super nice.
This is an understatement, but she is an insanely good driver.
Like just, it was like blew our socks off.
Yes.
Picture like, hey, I'm going to take you and a ride on our side by side on our trails and I'm
going to drive as fast as I can.
50% faster than that.
I'm not kidding, dude.
It was just ripping.
Jumping, drifting.
trees on both sides.
She was absolutely ripping
this thing and never did I ever
feel like scared or like that she was out
of control. She was
insane. Who rode with her?
Me and Mike.
In Spanish. Yeah.
So get this though. This was like
not really intended but it just
you know it all just really flowed together nice
we did the skate park and as they were building
the rails we went and did the ride along with
Leah and we came back
and we did the rails and just everything
and you know in the beginning we
said, we got this idea from Fantasy Factory.
We weren't going to act like this is some original idea because it wasn't.
We got the idea.
I saw a comment and I didn't even think about it until I saw it.
But he goes, dude, this was literally an episode of Fantasy Factory.
You guys did the rails, but you also went and met up with Leah Block, which not necessarily
in the skate park rail episode of Fantasy Factory.
Did he meet up with Ken Block?
But in like many episodes of Fantasy Factory, he would link up with Ken Block to do some rally
car stuff.
Yep.
It wasn't even intentional.
It was just, it was so real.
Trashing Ken's house was like very reality TV.
Yeah, but it really was.
That's crazy.
It was completely real because, like I said, it was very difficult working with Ken
because he wouldn't give us anything.
So we didn't know what he was doing.
We didn't know if he was going to show up.
We figured he was going to show up and be pissed.
We showed up there at 8 a.m.
He's just a static.
He's so happy.
He didn't come till 7 p.m.
We just sat around his house and played Fortnite all day.
I mean, we did a bunch of stuff.
We were riding dirt bikes.
You and Jack had like your pod set up and everything.
Yeah, we added it.
Jack and I added it.
Grilled steak.
Gavin Ruin'en Kinseachlien.
I got to go see if they got it out.
Nice.
Good.
It was funny.
Yeah.
It was awesome.
The rally car segment was sick.
Hellboat.
Hellboat was a success.
It went fantastic.
Yeah.
It was fun.
I've been seeing, like, just random people that took videos from like the shore.
It couldn't look any better.
Only thing that broke was the wearing.
Yeah.
We probably jet boat itself for some reason.
Yeah.
It went out.
So it was just.
what do they call it?
Was that cavitating? Early?
No, no, it was on day two, but the first day,
so it turns out there's two plugs
in it, we only put one in.
Oops. Ken and I are like flying
at like 30 mile an hour and like pretty soon
like Ken pops a thing, there's like water in there.
And then there's more water. I don't know.
We're in the middle. Yeah, the
village was kind of working maybe.
We realize we're sinking. Yeah.
And this thing, you're like in it.
Me and every. We've been in it.
You had to like go. The windows are like,
like to get out. So we started trying to get back, but then it had all those weight in. It couldn't get going. It was kind of scary. But then we got it in. Big Ranch fixed it. Added some extra villages. We came out on Saturday. People went nuts. But it was a quiet lake day, but it was still a lot of fun. That's what I was going to say, like, you've been there for everything we've ever pulled to the lake or the access. You know, there'll be an occasional person. The amount of people that drove in from the road. People were coming out onto their dock. Yeah, out on the dock just to see it. I mean,
looked like a fucking car.
Like this.
It really did.
It is a car.
It literally is.
It looks like a car.
It is a car.
It is a car.
It legitimately couldn't have looked better though on the water.
Like all of us were kind of like, what's this going to look like?
Because you saw it done, Ben.
I did.
Yes.
But look at how fucking good that thing looks.
Yeah, that's insane.
It's so perfectly in the water.
That's insane.
And the wheels actually turned.
They'd be spinning from the water.
Is it still good?
If we fixed the,
wearing, it will be great.
We drove until the end. I limped that thing to the boat access.
Yeah, he did. I limped it. Like, it was, it was, you can still idle it around.
I feel like we got to get that fixed. Yeah, it was legendary. It was a great addition.
I think we bring that out. I think we got to get a tow hitch on the car boat and then tow the boat car with a
100%. That's a great idea, Ken. Jack shaking his head. He was pitching this for like a month.
And then we just didn't do it. Yeah, yeah. Well, there wasn't a hitch on the
boat car. That's why we didn't do it the second time.
And I got to drive the Hellcat or the
TRX.
Yeah, right. Fuck, I love that TRX, dude.
Yeah, it's pretty sick.
What else happened? I feel like there's more.
Yeah, we did so, the first week,
we filmed six out of the seven days.
Well, like two things a day for.
Yeah, we were just banging them out.
It was actually a lot of work, though.
I believe.
And then, like, I would start editing on Wednesday.
Yeah.
And also, we were down pat.
Yeah.
So then it was like, geez.
It was a lot, dude.
I'm not going to lie.
It was a lot. I'm glad you're back. I'm glad you're back. But I was telling myself last week,
I'm like, all right, just one more fucking week of this. Just one more time.
You worried, like, I mean, because we were busting ass while Ben was gone. And now he's going to come
back and be like, bro, we got hit it twice as hard. I'm so refreshed, ready to go.
Yeah, we're like, oh my God. We've been going ham. But we're sitting really good and
it was fun. We had a good time. Honestly, it wasn't, it really wasn't like we had any good. It went great.
You missed out on just so much.
many legendary things that will just come to fruition over the course of the next six years.
Eventually you'll catch up on things and then, yeah.
We'll see.
Until then you'll get made fun of for about three years and you're so behind.
Dude, something crazy happened right before I left, actually.
I was driving to the shop on Sunday night before we left.
Because I had to come and get my laptop and some stuff.
And it's like just before dark, and I'm driving down.
one of the county roads
and I pass a guy
biking in the left lane. So I'm in the
right lane and he's in the left lane
still biking straight. Bicycling.
Yeah, pedal biking, right? And I'm
like, oh, it's kind of weird. It's kind of like
late at night, county
road, this guy's biking in the
wrong lane. I kind of
look back and like he was kind of like
like biking pretty fast
and I'm at a stoplight then.
And he blows through the stoplight. Doesn't
look left or right. Blows
through this stoplight, which is the
blows through the highway, and then
proceeds to hit the ditch
and go into the gas
station, to Soro, County 6th gas
station right there, he hits the ditch
and he bikes through the ditch
and at this point, I'm now
going, right? So I'm like, right
parallel with him as he's
biking through the gas station
parking lot. And I'm driving and I'm
looking like, what is going on right now?
The dude bikes
full speed through the
parking lot and runs into a guy walking in the door.
Full speed. What? How? Did he like level him? Why didn't that guy move? Why didn't that guy move?
He was walking. He was, no, the guy was walking into the door and the guy hit him from the back.
He was missing towards him on purpose. Okay. Yeah. Like he just was out of his mind. The biker was out of his mind.
Had to have been. So did you pull in or what? Well, then I see this guy just level.
this dude.
Yeah.
And this guy on the ground,
each shit,
like into the wall or something.
Holy fuck.
How old is this guy?
Probably like 40.
A hard 40 or an easy 40?
Like the bikeer.
How old's a biker?
Oh,
it looked like the,
like the pedestrian was like,
maybe like upper 50s.
He looked older.
Jesus.
And the biker was younger.
And, uh,
or biker was 40.
Hard 40 though.
Right.
40.
Okay.
And so at this point,
I'm driving.
And I,
I see him hit him.
And I just go,
What the fuck?
I'm like, what just happened?
And Greta's like, what, what, what?
And I'm like, that biker just ran into a random guy.
And she's like, you think he's okay?
And I'm like, I don't know.
And she's like, turn around, turn around.
And I'm like, no, no.
We are about to go to the south of France.
I ain't messing around with no meth-doubt biker.
Yeah, yeah.
I was like, I don't think that's a good idea.
And she's like, what if, like, he's hurt?
And nobody, like, saw it.
And you're like, I saw it.
He probably is.
Yeah.
I was like, oh, my gosh.
Okay.
Yeah, you're right.
you're right. And so I turn around at this point and I'm coming back. And at this point, I see the
crackhead as is what I'm figuring, pushing the bike limping. And like it looked like the front wheel
was even wobble. Oh, I'm sure. Yeah. And he's like pushing it back through the parking lot.
And then I saw it what looked like the gas station attendant. It looked like he was like helping
this old guy up. And like kind of like holding.
him. And so I was like, okay, so somebody
clearly knows it was insane. That's
weird. So he just rode
dang near into the gas station store.
If he wouldn't have hit the guy, he would hit the
he would hit the wall. Hit the door
or the door or the wall? Dude, I don't know.
He was insane. So did that guy previously
cut him off or something and he was just
trying to get back at him?
You know, imagine you cut someone off in your car
and then he just missile them down.
Ride your bike full speed into him and smack the
wall. I'm going to go out on
a limb and assume
it was just wrong place, wrong time.
Damn, my. That sucks. Gotta keep a head on a swivel.
I hope he's okay.
No kidding.
When I was in high school, I was sitting at a red light
right by this sketchy gas station
and this homeless guy like ran into the side of my car.
Oh, like a deer. In the T.C. Yeah, just like a deer.
Just I was sitting there. He just came in. It's on a bike. Boom. And he goes,
you hit me. You hit me. And the lady next to me was like,
I look at her because I'm a kid. I'm like,
what the fuck and she was like drive away he was on a bike yeah on a bike yeah yeah and he was just
like fishing probably trying to get people to like or whatever and then he just got on the bike and
then biked away and probably did right into the next guy at dead stop at a stop sign did it like did it like
dent your door i think that's how i got there's still the crease in it on my driver's door like
right up there from like his handlebars the driver's door yeah he ran right over his
shit out of you it did dude you're sitting there at a light and just but too but yeah
Yeah, dude, people on bikers, fucking idiots.
Yeah, it's not the drugs that they're on.
No, it's the bikes.
It's the bikes.
There's always a common denominator.
No, it was like a, it was like a mountain bike that you could really click a gear and get some speed.
Oh, yeah.
Like he was ripping.
Like a hobby.
Full speed.
Full speed.
That's awkward.
It's always awkward when you see that.
Somebody hit a biker in front of Sydney and I.
Well, that's different at the car.
Right, right.
But it was like, at a stop sign looking like,
left, he decides to cross and she's at a complete stop, you know, decides to go and then
hits him, just enough to just knock him down and then like almost ran him over.
It was like, oh, and then she drives away.
And then he's just like, the budge, man.
I'm like, are you okay?
He goes, no, my ankle.
And then I was like, I wish I could help.
And he goes, I wish you could too.
Kemp driving.
Just puts it on you?
Yeah.
I wish you could too.
I didn't know what to do.
How much money you got on you.
Yeah.
Shakes much.
Well, here's a hundred bucks.
I hope that helps.
Yeah.
We'll help a little.
Yeah, it'll help a little.
Yeah, it'd be better.
So watch out there, whether you're in a car or a bike.
Good deal.
