I survived nine months in captivity,
and I've spent my life exploring how other people survived what should have destroyed them.
I'm Elizabeth Smart, and these are The Survivor Files.
Every week, I'm with survivors who lived through the unthinkable.
Abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced.
These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive.

For Kristoff.
They said, okay, what are you going to be singing today?
I said, I don't know.
That must have been why you didn't get it.
Oh, you probably won.
Plus, John Stamos, Hayden Christensen from Star Wars, and more.
And I guess I can share that, uh...

Hey, everyone.
I'm Josh Radner, and I am so excited to tell you about
How We Made Your Mother, a rewatch podcast looking back episode by episode at the hit TV show,
How I Met Your Mother. I played Ted Mosby, the I in How I Met Your Mother for all nine seasons.
And I'm here with Craig Thomas, who co-created the show along with Carter Bays. Hi, Craig.
Hey, Josh. Somehow it has been 20 years since the show premiered. I'm going to check the math on
that. That seems wrong. 10 years since it went off the air. And we thought that made this a
perfect time to look back, see what the hell we did, and why the show still seems to resonate
with fans around the world today. And we are thrilled to announce that we have now joined
the Office Ladies Network and are just beyond excited to be working with Jenna Fisher and
Angela Kinsey. And something we love about How We Made Your Mother is the amazing community of
this show. The fans and people that write in, we think you guys are awesome. And I love when Josh
and Craig get philosophical.
I mean, I love all the behind-the-scenes stories,
but my favorite is when Josh suddenly starts quoting Einstein
or some ancient philosopher,
and then he and Craig basically break down the meaning of love
or the power of friendship or forgiveness or you name it.
In season one of our podcast,
we had a great time looking back at the 22 episodes of Himyam season one.
I was so into him being with Robin when he goes up in the suit.
And it's really quite sexy for prime time, just in terms of like the way they're looking at each other.
Yeah.
But the moment he says, I think I'm in love with you, I almost was like, what?
Ashley Williams?
Every time Josh and I had to kiss on the show, I was very careful to have like boundaries, right?
Like every time we kissed, I would go like, oh.
Like I had this heart.
The only way I can describe it possibly is like hard lips.
Hard lips.
One time Josh was like, you kind of like are like pushing me away with your mouth every time we get together.
But I think what I was saying was, and it was very delicate what I was trying to do, which was to say.
How did you say this?
I think what I was saying was like, you're kissing me weird.
Right?
I think that's all I was saying.
It was like, you're kissing me weird.
And our very own Kobe Smulders.
There are people who are our age who are like, I remember being in my 20s watching this show.
And you're like, yeah, same, same.
And it feels very, like, relatable.
And then I'll meet somebody who's, like, 15.
I'm like, you were not alive.
And now we are launching season two.
And while it wouldn't be him-yum if we didn't keep a few secrets,
we can tell you that we'll be talking with Joe Manganiello.
People make me do that line to them a lot.
B-2-dub, which is also another abrige.
And the amazing Brian Cranston.
Whether it's How We Met Your Mother, whether it's Breaking Bad,
the question we always get asked is, did you know it was going to be a hit?
And I go, no one ever knows.
But what you do know and what I knew about How We Met Your Mother is that it was good.
So check out our website, howwemadeyourmother.com,

We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook.
Each week, we talk to someone in show business and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us.
Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicist for letting them do our show.
We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, Adam Scott, Danny McBride, Ben Stiller,
and a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us.
