Hello, welcome to Life with Nat. How are you all? I hope you're good. I hope you aren't
too sleepy. Or maybe you are sleepy and you're listening in bed. But I hope you're all doing
really well. I thought I'd nip on and have a little five minutes with you on my own before we head into the pod
because today I am doing the sew along episodes, the flower episodes with Cara
and the reason it's going out on a Thursday not a Sunday is because I
haven't bloody stopped. You know I'm an honest person I'm gonna tell you how it
is. Last week I was away filming a job, possibly my
favorite job ever, which I can't talk to you about yet and that is very boring
but I cannot wait to talk about it. It was absolutely amazing but it did mean me
being away for a week which meant I couldn't record. So this episode is a
Carra special all about gardening. I'm recording this Bank Holiday Monday and
obviously it's out Thursday. It's been a lovely day. Cara came round and I potted out all
of my plants. I spent the day in the garden listening to the birds. There was a little
bit of rain in between but it was absolutely beautiful. I popped to Marksies with Eliza, we had a
little wander, got some food for the week, just had a very nice pottering bank holiday,
which I think is always a winner. I'm going to play this little note actually, which I
think is very important.
Morning, it's Harry here from Yorkshire from Doncaster.
Just thought I'd send you a real quick one. I'm on a dog walk and I'd usually
listen to the pod while I'm on my dog walks but I forgot my earphones. So it's just
silent and I live in really like rural countryside and it's lovely but it's always I think I take it
for granted because this morning I've been listening to the birds there's
been cockerels mouthing off there's been
can you hear that? can you hear that? it's just beautiful in it and I really just don't I can't believe that I just think I don't know I don't know what I'm trying to say I just think that sometimes it's just beautiful isn't it and i really just don't i can't believe that i just think oh i
don't know i don't know what i'm trying to say i just think that sometimes it's nice to just switch
off walk silent listen especially this time in the morning because i haven't heard that for a very
long time and it has brightened my mood right up i hope you have a lovely day it was meant to be
a really quick one but i've gone over a minute now. Have a lovely day, loving the pod. I actually need to catch
up on a few. I'm going on and on and on and I'm going now, bye.
Oh Harry, you're never going on. I think you're right, it's so nice sometimes to
be in silence. The older I get actually the more I like being in silence. Even
in the kitchen if I'm cooking or cleaning,
I don't put stuff in my ears at the moment.
I just like to be quiet.
And I think that has a lot to do with just being so busy
and having so much going on,
that sometimes it's good for your brain
to not have any noise.
And especially today, because I was outside in the garden
listening to the
birds so hurry on with you and it was only one minute and seven seconds don't
beat yourself up please so as I said I was away last week for the week oh my
goodness I missed everybody so much I'm such a home bird and now I'm not any
stenders you know there are going to be jobs that come up where you do have to
stay away and you do have to take the work, you know, take it when it comes
up. I've got a couple of days next week in Birmingham for my documentary, the Caring
documentary. Hang on, someone's coming in. Hello darling.
You're on the broadcast? Yes darling.
Oh, what's going to happen if I come and stay over here with you?
I won't be long. I'm just having a little chat with everybody. I won't be long.
Do you do them on your own?
Sometimes. Yeah.
Is it a bit boring?
No. My little Joan wants to see me so I'm not going to be too long.
But yeah, I really, really missed everybody and it made me realise how very fortunate
and lucky I am.
And I know I say that a lot, but I truly mean it.
Even down to work, I just think it doesn't take anything to be grateful and kind.
I think we should all really take a step back and just be very, very grateful that we're here.
I had some really sad news about a friend of mine's husband who passed and I sent her
all my love and fault, but it sort of makes you think about things and puts everything
into perspective and we are here for a very short while, we've just got to have a lovely
time, just got to have a laugh and a fantastic time.
But here's a message which I did like because I always do say I'm grateful blah blah blah. This is from Karen. Hi Natalie, Karen from West Sussex here. I just felt compelled to
message you really. I've just listened to your second solo part that came out today and I thought
it was amazing. There was a few things you were saying and I know you talk about your
fortunate life and you talk about your you know you're grateful for the life that you've got
and I just felt really compelled to say that,
you know, yes, you have a fortunate life
compared to some people,
but you've worked so hard to get that life.
It's not as if it's been handed to you,
you know, on a platter.
You've worked, you've shed blood, sweat and tears
to have your life.
So yes, it's a fortunate life,
but, and obviously, yes, you're very,
very grateful for it. But don't take away the fact that you've slogged your guts out to get
the life that you've got. And I think, you know, you need to take some credit for that. I think,
obviously, I know you're very normal, and you're very down to earth and that's what we all
love about you.
But you don't give yourself enough credit, I don't think, for that.
And I just wanted to say that I take my hat off to you.
I respect you fully.
And I just think that you should take some credit for what you've got.
And yes, like I say, you have got a fortunate life, but you should take some credit for what you've got. And yes, like I say,
you have got a fortunate life, but you have worked bloody hard for it, girl. So, you know,
take some credit. Anyway, I hope you're having a lovely day. The weather is still beautiful.
Long may it continue. And I hope to speak to you soon. Take care.
Oh, thank you, Karen. That is a lovely message. Blood, sweat and tears, though.
There are people doing a lot of hard work out there.
And yes, I have worked hard, but I am very, very lucky.
And I do know that.
And I don't think that's a bad thing.
And I'm just very honored that everyone listens to this pod
and contributes as well,
which is just quite frankly astonishing.
Every time I get a message, I think,
oh, how can people be bothered?
And I just think it's amazing because life is busy
and everyone does make the effort
and I really, really appreciate it, truly appreciate it.
So we're gonna go on to today's pod with Cara. All my seeds are very big and very
strong. She came round, she helped me plant them out. We had a lovely wander around the
garden. Everything's in bloom and I really hope you enjoy it. It's just a very joyful,
relaxing pod today. Have a fantastic weekend and I'll speak to you soon. Enjoy.
So I am with Cara and we are in my garden. And today's episode, I just wanted not to concentrate only on the seeds that we've done,
but my garden is so lovely at the moment that we can have a little walk around it
and just have a little chat before then going on
to the seeding question that you've all been following from.
How are you, darling?
I'm good, it looks beautiful.
Yeah?
Got a bit of blue sky.
I know.
Sun's kind of poking out.
It's really lovely.
I've been away for a week, working actually.
Yeah.
So to come back and see the change in the garden,
because everything's come out.
I think we've had a little bit of rain this week as well.
So all the roses are coming out.
Beautiful roses, your Aquilegia,
you've got your peonies here.
The peony, I'm so, I can't believe it.
I planted that, I think it was three years ago,
and that's the first time that it's come up.
So I came back to that and I was so pleased. It's beautiful,'t it? They don't last long but they're my favourite. No they are lovely.
Might need to stake this one a little bit. Yeah I will do. Oh look at this one, wow this beautiful
rose. Now that rose let me tell you is my Charlie Rose. Someone bought that for me when my dad died
and I cannot believe just how robust and strong it is.
I just feel like it's him. It's like, I'm here. But look, there's nothing on it.
It's so healthy as well.
That's what I mean. It's really, oh there's a little bit of, if I made this wrap around that, I'll have to do that later.
Lovely long stems. That would be beautiful to cut for you to bring in the house, wouldn't it?
100%, definitely. And even the peonies I thought would be beautiful to cut for you to bring in the house. 100% definitely and even the peonies I thought would be lovely to cut yeah
they should be long enough to be able to cut and put in a vase.
And you've got a wild rose here. Yes. That's lovely. Great for the pollinators the wild roses.
So that's lovely yeah. So what have you been up to? Have you been well?
I've been good. Busy. Yeah. I don't know what exactly have I, it's been Chelsea
week this week. Yeah I would have loved to have come, I was going to try and come with
you but I've been super busy. Yeah do you know a few people said where's Nat? I was
gutted, gutted to have missed it. There was a few conversations about the podcast. That's
good. Yeah a few people there have been been sewing along. Have you had many messages and
stuff? Yeah there's been some great ones. I've been answering back to as many as I can. Brilliant.
I thought we could go through some as well because it's really hard to answer back to everyone.
It's been amazing to see all the photos. People growing along with their children, people growing along with their children, people growing along just seeing them on the
windowsills and then seeing them now being planted out. Yes. Yes, such a joy to see and
sometimes when I get a message through, I don't know, I might be feeling a bit stressed about
something. Yeah. And then seeing someone else growing for the first time. It makes my day.
Yeah, it really does. It really does. Yeah, it fantastic. Look I bought these, I wanted to show you these.
I went a bit crazy in bed one night, did a bit of buying. I'm not buying anything now but I'm just on garden websites, I don't know what you've done to me.
But I bought a blueberry bush and I've also bought a miniature peach tree. Oh wow, and you've got little peaches!
I can't believe it.
Wow!
It's amazing, right?
They say by about July they'll be ready to pick and they're meant to be really sweet
and lovely but they're only small.
Yeah.
But I just thought we'd get through so many blueberries, punnets and punnets with the
kids so I thought, well why not try and grow one?
Yeah.
So that's that.
Oh, and your veg, how are your veg doing?
I'll show you, we'll go round, I'll have a look.
Honestly I can't thank everybody enough for joining in with the gardening stuff, it's been really popular.
Usually I pop these out on a Sunday because they're a relaxing episode, but I'm going to be really honest,
I have been so busy that this is going out on Thursday, so it's in a normal slot.
Okay.
So the gardening has been promoted and it's going in a normal slot this week.
Happy day.
Wow.
Look at those cosmos.
Are you pleased?
Yeah, they're huge.
They're big, aren't they?
Yeah.
Have you pinched them out?
Some of them you have.
I have pinched all of them out.
Have you?
I did.
Yeah.
They are, they're big. And the zinnias are...
They're definitely ready, aren't they?
Look, the zinnias are...
You've got buds on the zinnias.
I'm so excited.
I know.
Let me just put my cup of tea down.
Did you pinch your zinnias?
Yes, I did.
You did?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wow.
I did.
You seem shocked, Kara.
No, well this one doesn't look like it's been pinched.
I don't know, because it hasn't...
Maybe there was a couple I had pinch pinched. Yeah there might be some
but it doesn't matter you've still got beautiful flowers if you haven't. What happens if you
don't pinch because there'll be probably a lot of people that maybe haven't pinched them.
If you haven't so this one here you've pinched can you see it's branched out here. Right.
So when you pinch that stem it signals, well it encourages growth from beneath, so you're
starting to get branches here, branches here.
So if we find one which I think, so this one I say you haven't pinched.
So they'll become a lot taller.
It'll just be tall with no branch, it'll just be a single.
Right, I understand.
But I definitely pinched it.
It doesn't matter, it's not too late.
I've had quite a few questions this week, is it too late to pinch and it's not.
Fine. It's not too late, even if you've got a bud or even a flower you can still pinch them.
Okay. So don't stress about it at all. Maybe you can pinch some for me today. Yeah we can pinch some.
Yeah. And then. And look at the dahlias,'s get them out I thought we could yeah let's have a
little look there's one that's a snowflake this is really lovely and healthy this is the black
current that's Wizard of Oz oh sorry yeah it's in a black current pot oh. I thought, oh, why is it earlier called blackcurrant? Where's the device?
Recycling our pots, brilliant.
And then this one, why do you think this one hasn't gone as well? That hasn't done much.
It might be...
Because I've treated them all the same, that's what I wanted to ask you.
Yeah, so some tubers have less eyes, so you can see that's only got one stem, two stems actually.
It just, some are faster than others. So is it worth putting that out? I would
still put it on maybe, still plant it out and put a bit of slug protection over it.
Yeah. Just because it's not as strong as the others. Of course. Yeah still
plant it out and it might just suddenly have a rapid growth.
Yes. Or it might just come back really strong next year. Okay, okay, that's fine. Look at all
of Mark's tomatoes. They're brilliant. Would you like to take some home? We've done two many. Yeah,
do you want a couple? I've also done some strawberry baskets. I bought some trailing strawberries. Oh,
brilliant. And I thought I'll do some strawberries in hanging baskets and see how they go. Yeah. So yeah. You've got quite a number of them. Tomatoes, these are all tomatoes.
There's so many but that's not my bag. So where do you plant your tomatoes? So Mark's done here,
these are all tomatoes so he's planted out what we need for the garden. He's taken the strongest
ones. My courgettes down there are bursting to be so today I'm going to plant all my courgettes
out in the troughs and I've got cucumbers in there and I'm going to put those in my
new troughs today.
Oh exciting.
I know.
Have you got all your pots, your big containers ready?
Well I have, a fox has shat in that one which is nice.
Oh, what did you say?
How do you know it was a fox?
That's what Mark said.
Mark said it was a fox.
Possibly.
Maybe a cat.
It's not Joni.
Be horrible.
It could be cat poop, couldn't it?
Who knows?
I mean, it's easy.
We just scrape it out.
Yeah.
Mark's actually potting up at the moment for us some black troughs, rectangular, big ones.
Oh right.
And I thought they'd be really lovely for all of the zinnias in Cosmos.
Is it? Yeah.
I might have some spare.
In a pot this sort of size, and what we'll do, everything we're talking about, we need to take pictures of the sizes.
Yeah, we'll take a pic.
And we'll do a nice big reel
and we'll get all the pictures on, we'll highlight it on Life with Nat, I'll put it on my highlights
but we'll put it on Instagram and Facebook if we can.
Definitely.
With a pot that size, how many zinnias should I put in?
Can I mix zinnias and cosmos?
Would you keep them separate?
I would, with zinnias and cosmos, I'd do one variety per pot.
Okay.
You can, it depends, but with the varieties we've chosen, the cosmos get very tall and
they need staking.
Yes.
So the zinnias might get a bit lost.
Fine.
I mean there's no right and wrong.
If you want to do that, do it.
It's fine.
It will still work, but the stakes, So this pot is probably about 30 centimeters wide.
Yes.
So I would put about three cosmos plants in there.
OK, OK.
You could put one, but if you want it really full...
You alright, darling?
Hello.
Just talking about your tomatoes and chilies.
Yeah.
Are you happy?
Yes.
I think they're brilliant.
Oh, full of the words today.
Yeah, they're alright. Oh, full of the words today.
They're normal.
Yeah, they're alright.
They're really good.
Yeah, we've never done them in the zip-up thing for this long, have we?
No.
Hopefully they'll bulk out a bit now.
Cold frame.
Yeah, cold frame.
No, they're good.
Am I filling these with soil?
Yes, please.
That would be lovely if you don't mind.
Then they're definitely... I think they'll be lovely if you don't mind. Then they're definitely...
I think they'll be lovely, what do you think?
We can get five in there?
Across?
Yeah, what are they?
So the cosmos?
Yeah, cosmos and zinnias, yeah.
What do you reckon?
Perfect.
Lovely.
Five?
Have you got holes in the bottom?
Yeah.
Yeah, holes in the bottom.
I've run out of broken parts for drainage.
Oh, a few stones, a bit of...
I can't nick some of this.
Go with me. I have got some.
All right. Just to help. Yeah, that will...
That's all good. But we do need a bit of drainage in the bottom.
Good old Mark, busy in himself for me as usual.
I'm really, really pleased with the amount I've got.
Yeah. I can't quite believe it. I'm really pleased with it, you know?
And these are your first flowers?
They are my first ever flowers, yeah.
Wow.
Yeah.
Now with the dahlias, I'm guessing that one of those
goes in one pot.
Yeah.
Yeah?
Yeah, so one per pot.
Have you got more of the bamboo?
Oh, yeah, we can get some bamboo.
Yeah, that's fine.
Or you can use hazel, know if you've got old branches in
your garden you could use them. They definitely need staking the daily years. If we have a
big wind they'll just they can snap. It is very open here so I'm going to put them I'm going to
decide where to put them later make sure they're in a place which doesn't catch too much wind
later, make sure they're in a place which doesn't catch too much wind. Yep.
Because it is quite open around here, got to be careful.
Yeah and I'd say the cosmos as well, to stake them a little bit.
Okay, flab.
Yeah, I'm so happy that it's worked because it's always, when you do a sow along, it could
have gone, it might not have, I mean we've heard some that haven't worked, like the sweet
peas.
Yes, well the sweet peas, well I haven't planted any sweet peas and they are my favourite.
It was just down to time.
I was going to ask you, is it too late to plant some sweet peas straight in now?
It's not too late, you'll just get them a lot later.
You'll get them end of August probably.
I might just pop some into the ground.
It's not too late.
I've had a few people say, there was a question earlier,
is it too late for sunflowers? We're not doing sunflowers.
Is it too late for sunflowers? It's not.
If you sow now, I mean now is like the very latest, but it just means you'll get them later.
But you know when the roses are stopped and things like that.
You get another burst of colour in the garden.
Yeah, so they'll just bring joy then.
Fantastic, it's quite nice I think to space out the plants a bit.
And then like you say you've got something to look forward to.
I'm sewing sweet peas now as well.
Oh yeah,. Yeah. Oh, good.
Just because I find the sweet peas that are coming into flower now,
they've kind of had enough by August, end of July.
They can carry on, but it's just nice to have a fresh flower.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Of course.
Of course.
Right, well, shall we sort out some pots and some bamboo sticks and stuff and get potting
for a little while?
Yeah, let's do it!
Fab!

Right, so we're here now with the troughs ready to plant out. I reckon this size trough,
I would say one, two, three, four in there.
I would go three.
Would you?
Yeah. Just so they've got a nice lot of room.
Okay.
With the cosmos.
Alright, lovely. So how much room do we need at the bottom of there? So
I'm doing just a lovely big hole. Yeah. So the whole plant fits into it yeah like anything else.
There we go. Lovely. So a hole as big as the container so yes these are probably about 10
centimeter. Yes. Perfect. That's yeah.
I'll be 20 won't it?
Yeah and then tip it upside down.
It should give it a little pat.
It might need.
Look at that healthy root system.
Is that good?
It is.
Yeah.
Perfect time as well to plant them out.
It's not root bound,
but you've got that lovely,
you know, show of roots.
That's a little weed.
Yeah, pop that out.
Okay. In they go. Plant number one.
The first ever one. There we go. Got to get some water on them but I'll do that in a minute with a hose.
Right first one in. Does that look alright? That looks alright. I mean you could do a little bit more compost we can do another look once we've got them all in
How's that? Perfect
Want them to be quite straight don't you really or is it not a problem?
Yeah, that's
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, they will give them all a good water.
Okay. Lovely. So how many plants have you got going at the moment? Tell me about your
garden. How many have I got going? Right, I've probably
got enough cosmos to open a cosmos farm. How many?
It's over a hundred. I don't know why. I love cosmos. So I've overdone it this year because they're so easy to grow.
Now you can say that because you've grown them.
They are easy, aren't they?
They are easy to do, yeah.
You can't go wrong with cosmos.
That's why I love them.
And then they're cut and come again.
So you just get an abundant amount of flowers all summer.
So I've gone pretty mad with cosmos this year, growing quite a range
of varieties. There's some that I've not grown before, which I'm excited about. So I've got
them, I've got dahlias, everything that we've grown together. I've just gone extra with
the cosmos, gone extra with the sweet peas.
Yeah. Sorry, these little bits here, as we can see, these little dry bits, would you
just pop them off?
Yeah, I'd remove those crispy bits. It's probably where it might be the water and the sun, they've
crisped up in the sun.
Yeah, I might just get a little pair of scissors in a minute and do that properly.
Yeah, because you've got really healthy growth from above.
Yeah, okay. Do you think I've spaced that okay? Yeah? Is that alright?
That's good. And then this one's quite good. You've pinched all of these out so you
can see they've got the lovely branching stems underneath.
What else am I growing? I'm growing some vegetables as well but obviously I go really mad with
the flowers.
Yeah, so you've got 100, so that's going to create say 300-400 flowers at a time.
Yeah.
What do you do with them all?
You can't have them all involved.
I end up giving a lot away.
And I've got a lovely community garden in Great Dunmo.
So I'm growing a lot for the community garden.
And then growing some for a show as well.
But I might get to the show in August.
And it's hit and miss.
The weather, they might all flop over by then.
We'll see.
But it's good to have arranged so you can pick your best ones.
Yeah, exactly.
But I love growing them and as I say, they're easy.
So you might as well give them a go.
That is our first trough done.
First one, wow.
Happy days.
So Kara, you've staked the cosmos early, just in case because it's very windy here.
Yes. So we've put six bamboo sticks around the trough in each corner and by the sides.
And then you've created with the string, what
would you call it? It's like you've just tied it all around to create things to
like a grid for the cosmos to grow up. Yeah so we've like created a grid around
the plants and the plants are inside the grid that's what kind of what we're
trying to create and You can actually buy
like string grids, which you could just buy that, but we've tried to create a grid. So
if there was a big wind, at least they've got the string, the twine, they're supported
to protect them. You can do this a bit later down the line, but me, I sometimes forget.
So I always reckon, forget so it's I always
reckon I think it's best to do it early. Just get it done whilst you're out there.
Don't want to lose them do you? And then sometimes let's be honest you're really busy you run out
you walk around quickly in three or four weeks time I might not have time to do
this so if you've got the time best just just prepare it all so it's ready. If
you've got the time do it I would say. Amazing. And you can do that with the zinnias as well.
Well, it being windy here, I might do.
Yeah. So we'll see.
But I'm really, really happy.
Yeah. That they're out. I know. I know.
Give them a little water now. Absolutely. We'll do.
And then water every day?
Not every day. I think every twice a week.
Oh, wow. I would do the soil test.
So put your finger in.
Yep.
And obviously it's gonna be really dry now,
but I think go with mid finger
and just see if it's moist, then you're okay.
If not.
So it's best not to overwater them.
No, no.
All right, lovely.
Fantastic.
Yeah.
I can't thank you enough.
No, no.
It's so exciting.
Shall we pop inside and shall we have a little look at what people have been saying?
Yeah, let's have a look.
So it's bank holiday Monday and I'm going to spend the rest of the day when you leave.
Got to pop to the shops actually and get some food as we always do.
Got a bit of washing to do.
But then I'm going to plant everything out that you've seen this morning. But before you
head off for your bank holiday I can't thank you enough for coming around by
the way on a bank holiday Monday. I'm doing the same today a relaxing
gardening day. Yeah it's lovely. It's nice. Bank holiday Monday is quite busy. We. Gonna go out for lunch, but after that...
I just think it's nice to relax and recharge.
Life's so busy with the kids, isn't it?
So busy.
I'm surprised I got it this morning.
So let's finish off just thanking everybody
and having a little look at people's comments.
So we've got a comment here from Kat who says, I've just planted
out my cosmos. Is that okay? Yes, it is Kat.
Now, yeah, now's the perfect time.
Absolutely perfect. And thank you for following Kat. It's brilliant.
Auntie Social said, when might my cosmos and zinnias flower? Planted end of March and nothing
as yet.
Right. So if you sowed when we did,
I would say probably July.
Patience is a virtue everybody, right?
This is not, we're in it for the long game.
We're gonna have bundles of vases of flowers July and August.
Definitely, although the zinnias could be early.
You've got buds on your zinnias.
I have.
So you might have, I have to say two weeks.
Really? Weeks. Can't Really? Oh can't wait.
Yeah. Really can't wait. Badders is ginger. I do love the names of people do you? Right? I don't
know what that means. Badders. I think Ginger Badders has sent in a question for us which is,
can I plant my cosmos in clusters? I notice the garden centers have three to four in a pot.
I noticed the garden centers have three to four in a pot. Yeah, so in the garden centers, you get them three stems per, say, small 10 centimeter
pot.
Yeah.
They're bedding cosmos.
So the ones we're growing, we're growing like one meter tall cosmos.
So the ones in the garden center, they probably only get to about 20 centimeters tall.
So their root systems are a bit smaller.
I would suggest you want to give them at least
like we did in your trough out there.
We'll put up a photo up for everyone.
You want at least 20 centimeters space in
so those roots get a really good amount of space.
Otherwise you're going to have to get a shorter plant
if they haven't got enough room.
Fantastic.
Right, lovely Claire Elliott, she's a regular listener, so I'm so pleased she's partying
along, sewing along with us.
She sent me some amazing photos as well.
Has she?
Yeah, it's been such a joy to see hers grow.
Can you make sure you send me on those pic-es?
I'll send you.
Because then we can get them on Instagram for her.
Definitely.
She said, how to pinch out dahlias.
Now, I don't feel like I've done that either.
Right, so you want to wait until your dahlias plant, each one has got between 35cm, roughly
35cm tall. Once they get to that height and also making sure that they've got three to
four sets of leaves, you literally cut, give them a cut.
Okay. of leaves you literally cut, give them a cut. Pinch means cut so cut the top of
them so you want to snip just underneath the set of leaves and that just
encourages more growth. We did do a little reel on pinching which we
shared and so that might help and I can also share another one if that's... Please
remember yeah Cara's put on some lovely little videos.
At Make It Flourish is her Instagram.
So that's brilliant.
And there's loads of little tips and tricks on there.
So thank you so much.
I wanted to shout out Rochella Clark,
who said she was doing her sewing
and she had a Mother's Day present,
which was the cold frame.
So that is brilliant.
I'd love to see some more pickies
of how they're all doing.
Louise Douglas, a little shout out to you.
Vanessa Howard, thank you for going along.
Liz Williams, she's done the seeds
and she's put all her feet in.
And I'm hoping she's done it
because she said she was in a bit of a rush
and she'd not sewn.
Liz, have you sewn?
Let me know.
0778 20 1919. Louise McKenzie's done some. Charisse Brooks, Donna, Jackie. So thank
you all for sewing along. And there's loads and loads more. Obviously we've got quite
a few ways of getting in touch, but the best way of sending me your pictures
and letting me know how you're getting on
is on 07788 2019.
And any questions, me and Cara have got a little WhatsApp group
and I can pop them all in there for her
so she can get back to you also.
This will be the last pod of our sew along.
But once they are grown and once we've got flowers Cara's gonna
come back and we are gonna create our first vases of flowers. We can do it
together I'll pick some from my garden you pick yours from your garden we can
make our own vases together that maybe we can do the little video as well so we
can record the steps.
Definitely, 100%. Thank you so much for coming round.
No thank you, it's been such a joy. I've loved it.
I have too and we'll have to get our thinking caps on for the autumn.
Yeah, yeah there's so much. Well there's a sow, we could be
doing a sow along in autumn. Well that would be lovely, we could maybe do
another set of seeds, be it veg. I'm really into it now.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I do love it.
There's so much to grow all year round.
And some people just think it's just spring.
Yeah.
It's not. It's all year.
We can go into that soon.
Yeah, we will.
Right. That's that.
Thank you for listening to this and have a brilliant, brilliant weekend.
Send everything in. Thanks for listening, brilliant weekend. Send everything in.
Thanks for listening as always. Love you lots. See you soon. Bye!
Bye!
