Happy Monday, everybody.
Hope you've had a cracking weekend.
By the time this comes out, I would have done crawly yesterday with all the family.
Nice live poddy.
Hope it goes well, who knows.
I'm recording this on Friday.
It is so rainy outside.
Storm cloudius is upon us, I hear.
And my morning hasn't really gone.
How I wanted it to.
I wanted to get this done a little bit earlier today.
Nat's Chats, a little solo episode, and crack on with the day.
But no.
So Joni bashed her hand on a school table Tuesday.
Now, I don't want you to judge me.
But she came out of school, it was hurting.
Obviously, I've put a little cold pack of peas on there.
Can't beat a packet of frozen peas, can you?
So I popped that on, I said, calm down, it'll be okay.
She then said, I want to go to Zumba.
Now, with all due respect, if she was in agony,
would she want to go to Zumba at quarter past five after school?
No.
So off she popped, she went to Zumba, did her class, came back.
Wednesday, it was.
It was quite bruised.
So her sister, who is now first aid trained and very proud of it,
bless Eliza, nice little moment.
she put a little pad in between her little finger and her ring finger
and taped it up and all that sort of thing
first time I've seen them sort of sit together for half an hour and not argue
so that was quite good
anyway long story short she's woken up it's black and blue
she can't really bend it I thought I'm going to have to go up to the hospital
you're going to have to get an x-ray it's important that she has an x-ray
she plays her little piano she does do her neckball on a Monday
I need to know what's going on
thank you to the staff at princess alexander
Andrew in Harlow. As always, straight in, lovely, friendly people. They're absolutely run off
their feet. They were lovely to Joni. She got a little sticker for her x-ray. She got a little
bear when she left. It's just always, the children's department especially, just so warm and such
lovely people, and you're all amazing, and you're all doing an amazing job. I don't know how you do it.
So that was my morning, but what she's done is she's, there's not really a fracture or a break,
but there's a tiny little chip, if you will,
kind of a little tiny chip out of the bone
and they said in a couple of weeks it'll be okay.
So they've strapped it up and she's fine.
So I've popped her back to school.
Oh no, she ain't having a day off.
We got out of there at 20 past 11.
No problem.
Off she goes.
Ready for lunchtime on afternoon.
A nice afternoon of school work,
which she does enjoy, so that's good.
Then I had to pop to wear
Very very quickly
Grab my vape juice
I know it's terrible isn't it
Mark's still having to go at me
Don't go and buy it
Just give it up
He's been amazing doing that
But I'm just not ready for it
I don't want to do it before Christmas
I don't know what to say
Pin me up and call me Julie
I'm not interested
I want to vape over Christmas
I've got too much going on
and I'm not in the mood for withdrawal symptoms of nicotine right now.
So that's where I am.
I can't help it.
So now I'm back and I'm doing this pod and I've got a few people that I'm going to give a ring today
because I've had some lovely messages and just want to chat to some of you.
Before I do that though, I had a very interesting message from, hang on a second.
Not sure who it's from, but thank you for it.
Wow, you've been busy.
have they not got better things to do for fuck's sake?
So this is from somebody who has sent me a screen grab of a Facebook page.
Natalie Cassidy claims she is nothing like her TV character, Sonia,
as she has slept with at least 300 men and women.
I mean, where do they get this shit from?
If I tried to go around on the internet and take off stuff that wasn't true,
that would be my job. So thanks for pointing it out. It'll be gone within a day. I've had weight
loss pills that I'm supposed to be taking. Antidepressants that I'm supposed to be taking. None of
these things are bad, but I'm not doing. And they just plaster my face onto an advert. It's very,
very strange, I have to say. But anyway, thanks for that. And just to confirm, that isn't true.
There you go. I've had another little message from Holly. And Holly said, what on earth is
colour therapy. I'm sure you haven't mentioned it on the pod before unless I've missed it.
So I went out and it's kind of a few hours session and someone sits with you and puts layers
of different silk colours over you and finds out what your colour palette should be. So I reckon 40%
in my wardrobe is black. Shouldn't wear it. I'm a chocolate brown girl. I am. I am. I
autumn and it's kind of browns and midnight blue was very good, creams, torps, moss green,
obviously the dark life with that green. It had to be because the whole house is plastered in
it, sofas, tiles, etc. And obviously I love it for my logo. The pink though isn't overly my colour.
But then again, I don't wear loads of pink, so that's okay. But I highly recommend it. I did it
with some friends as a birthday treat, and it was a lovely few hours together. And we had, yeah,
teas and coffees and a few sweets and a little chat and found out what colours we used to.
So that is what colour therapy is. You can look it up online. But yeah, it's very good,
very funny. Now, I'm going to phone somebody who has done colour therapy before,
funnily enough. And the reason I'm ringing out is not about that, but we can have a chat about that.
we're going to give Emma a little call because she's got lots of things to say
and yeah, I think it'll be a lovely call. Here we go.
Hello.
Hi Emma.
Hi, how are you?
I'm good. How are you?
Very good. It's so excited to talk to you.
Oh, I don't know why.
No, it's because I feel part of your gang. It's really exciting.
Oh, that's so lovely. Thank you for all the messages you send.
that's fine i just you i listened to you on my way to work in the car and sometimes on walks and
it's just i find myself laughing out loud and chuckling along and shouting that i agree with you
all it's yeah it's really cool i'm so pleased it's exactly what it's meant to do so i'm really
pleased that you're part of the gang yeah it's good to be part of it's very very good
and obviously today you've sent me a couple of messages this morning um and i did love i loved what
you said actually about the
ball balls. Let me read the message to the listeners.
Laughing, listening to you and Elliot,
talking about when you put your decks up,
I always say if your baubles are up long enough
to have to dust them, it's too long.
Now, I think you're right.
I think that is true, but really, I mean...
You shouldn't be dusting your ball balls, should you?
It's the job you don't need in your life.
You don't need to be doing that.
I really don't want to be dusting any balls.
I just...
No one's got time for that at Christmas.
You should be eating your cherry liqueurs and drinking your fizzy pop, shouldn't you?
Yeah, 100%.
And then you said that your mum, so you put your decks up when you were little,
the day you broke up from school?
Yeah, my mum was a primary school teacher.
And she was really busy in December with all the nativities and the carols.
And she also, her birthday was on the 5th of December.
so she was very much, you can't have Christmas before her birthday,
even though she lived for Christmas from one year to the next,
she was buying presents in January.
She bought presents and gifts for everybody.
But she was very much like, no, you can't have Christmas until I'm finished at work.
So my sister and I were desperate to get them up.
So now I do have them up from about the 1st of December,
but I still feel a little bit guilty because I lost her over to all.
20 years ago and I think, oh, she might be a little bit cross that I've gone that early.
Oh, I don't think. That's what we do.
I don't think she would.
No.
How old were you when you lost your mum?
I was 28 and she was 54, so we're not as young as you were, but very sudden.
No, but she was very young.
A bit of a shock.
She was young and she's just missed a lot.
Of course.
You know, our weddings and the children and all that kind of thing.
I was lucky she knew my husband, but.
She, yeah, she's missed all the good bits, really.
So it's a really tough time of year because she was also a massive supporter of children in need.
Oh, so tonight is quite a big thing for you.
It's really hard.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's a bit bittersweet.
And actually the year that she died, they planted her memorial tree where she taught on children in need day.
So I always find this week a bit weird.
it's a bit of an emotional time because you've got children in need
and you've got her birthday and Christmas
and all kind of rolls into
and some years none of it affects me
and I can merrily go on my way
and then something will get me when you least expect it
and another year every time I see Pudsey this year
I've had a little tear so it's really weird
isn't it how it gets you at different times?
You message me obviously again earlier this morning
and obviously you are going to feel emotional
because your eldest has turned 18 yesterday
so you know you've got an 18 year old it's all very emotional stuff going on you're thinking
it is just your children are growing up yeah yeah it just was his past doesn't it and I sort
I look at all the photos of him from the from 18 years and you think I just I remember the day
that he was born like it was yesterday and all of a sudden he's 18 and taller than everybody
else in the house and it's just it's just you just don't know where the time goes do you it's crazy what's
his name Alex Alex oh well happy birthday for yesterday lots and lots of love and uh is he doing anything
at the weekend is he doing anything nice well he's got mocks next week so he's delayed his
celebrations with his friends till next weekend and we're doing for dinner tonight so that'll be
nice oh that's really nice oh bless him bless him yeah oh but it's lovely to talk to
to you. It really, really is. And I'm so pleased you love the part. Oh, I love it. You've made
my day. I'm really still hoping I might be able to get to clap and, but we'll see. Oh, I hope so.
See, see what happens. I'd love to. Yeah, I'd love to. And if not, I'll be doing more. We'll
be doing more soon. So, fingers crossed. And I hope it all goes well. Thank you. And I hope you'll
have a great time. I've loved hearing about how you're getting on with all your little practice runs.
Oh, good. Oh, I'm pleased.
Yeah, it's funny.
You all really, really make me laugh.
Good.
That's really nice.
Some mornings when you're on the road at the crack of dawn,
it's nice to have some friendly company to listen to.
Brilliant.
I'm so pleased, and I really, really hope that you enjoy children in need.
And, I mean, have you been watching Sarah Cox?
Oh, my goodness.
It's just, we've had it on in the office all week at work, and it's just,
she's amazing.
She's an machine.
It is incredible.
I mean, I've done one marathon, well, two marathons,
but obviously at the 20, you know, normal marathon length for one day.
And I just keep thinking about in this rain, this terrible weather.
Five days.
And she was so poorly at the start of the week as well.
I know.
She sounded so poorly.
It's amazing.
I think they're over six million now.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
I hope she makes 10.
So do I.
I think she'll make 10.
It'd be brilliant, won't it?
it for tonight. It'll be brilliant. Yeah, really good. Yeah. And I hope she has a really nice warm
bath and gets warmed up. And she eats a feast of whatever she wants over the weekend. Oh, my
goodness. Exactly. She'll be to eat whatever she wants for days now, won't she? Days and days.
We'll be building all those calories back up. Yeah. Yeah. I wonder if she'll have a day off on
Monday. Surely she will. She might be buzzing though. She might be riding high on it all.
That's true. She's going to be.
I mean she looks exhausted at the moment
but she's going to have such a buzz
isn't she when she finishes she's going to
yeah it's absolutely amazing
what an amazing achievement and she's such
a lovely lady as well
I've met her over the years and she's so
brilliant and down to her
and you know just she seems so regular
and just the way she's chatting to all the kids
and all the people that are coming out to see her
and everything it's just
it's really really lovely isn't it
really really good it's just inspiring
I hope she makes it.
Oh, she will.
And it's inspiring for women over 50.
All of this women of a certain age and all that rubbish.
Do you know what I mean?
It just shows you.
Yeah, totally.
It's great for us women.
What a role model.
Yeah.
Brilliant.
Yeah.
She's really good.
Well, Em, lovely to talk to you.
A mustache.
Thank you.
Have a lovely day.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Please do.
See you.
See ya.
All right.
Bye, darling.
Bye.
Ah, Emma's lovely.
It is, do you know what?
It is so hard this time of year.
And me and Linny,
going to do a grief special soon because I think it's really important to flag up how bittersweet
this time of year can be. Hopefully we'll be recording that next week or something. But yeah,
you know, people do want to talk about people they've lost or things they're missing or
animals they're missing or, you know, just that loss seems greater, I think, when things get
twinkly and sparkly and warm and glowy. So we are going to do that for you all, I promise.

You think you understand how this business works, but you don't.
Landman, TV's biggest phenomenon, returns to Paramount Plus.
From Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Yellowstone, starring Billy Bob Thornton.
You have to know the rules of the game and bend them, and you really have to know them to break them.
Demi Moore.
I want success. Get it for me.
Andy Garcia, Ali Larder, and Sam Elliott.
You don't even know the other game we're playing, do you?
Landman, new season, now streaming, only on Paramount Plus.
We're going to have a little chat now with Tracy.
And she's like an angel.
Hello.
Oh, hello, Trace.
Hello, Nat. You're all right?
Oh, do you know what? I'm sorry.
Is it a bit later than I said.
I hope you haven't got bundles to do?
No, I really haven't.
My mum was like, I'm angry.
I hope you've got some food at home.
I thought I was going to go to Tesco's as well.
So I've had to defrost some CP at the freezer that are they...
How's going to, is she all right?
She's all right.
I'm not going to bang on about it now because I've just mentioned it all on the pod.
But yes, she's got...
I'll listen to that.
Listen to it.
Listen to it.
Listen to Mondys.
Listen to you.
And then you can read the story.
But I had to phone you because I loved your messages.
And I loved what you do in the village.
And I think it's really important that...
And I just think it's so good.
I want you to explain to the listeners and explain where you are in case anyone can make it.
Because I just think it's magic.
Oh, bless you, Nat.
So we live in Blutchingly, which is not far from Crawley.
That's why we're coming to the Crawley run on Sunday.
It's quite near to get me careful.
And basically, honestly, now, all that happened was a couple of years ago,
I was at what we call the shed and it's like a workout place in the village.
Yeah.
Talking to the girls owns that.
And we were saying, like, oh, it's so sad.
like the kids that basically don't get what our kids get.
And from there, we set up a charity called Joy Story.
That year, we decided to donate, like, lots of partles for one of a better word.
But we've done, like, big sacks, and we left them on the doorsteps and gave some to the schools.
And at the end of November, we delivered lots of Advent calendars, which we are going to do again this year.
So good.
Yeah.
Honestly, do you know what, it brought me so much to win.
I know that sounds really silly.
No, it doesn't.
It does, though, didn't it?
But it made me quite emotional.
I completely understand.
But do you know what it is, Trace?
You're doing, you're, you are making a difference.
I know that sounds, oh, we can go on to cliche or whatever, but you are making a difference to people in your village.
And that is amazing.
Yeah, and do you know what?
I really feel like we did as well.
This year we're not doing, so we are going to do parcels, but we're not going to give them out the way that we gave them out last year.
So we've got this little Christmas party.
It's on.
Now, I don't know if it's Thursday the 18th or Thursday the 19th.
Oh, you said that.
Hang on, let's have a look.
Let's get it right here.
Getting up the calendar.
Thursday.
Oh.
Is it November or December?
December.
Oh, right.
I was going to say shit.
You're well out of it here.
It's Tuesday.
Hang on.
Hang on.
So it's the 18th is a Thursday.
Right.
Okay, so it's going to be Thursday the 18th of December.
I wanted to make it as close to Christmas as possible
because obviously I've asked Santa to come from that land
and help me, haven't I?
I can't believe it.
So it's going to be so careful what I was saying on that voice night earlier.
So it's going to be in the football club in Bletchingly Village.
And we're surrounded.
We've got like Godstone one side and Nuttfield the other.
So it's the best way to know where I live now is Junction 6 on the M25.
So if anyone lives near to Junction 6 on the M25, from 4.30 that day, we are going to have basically children that need it, Nat.
Yeah?
Children that are going to come and they're going to collect their presents and they're going to spend time with Santa.
From 6 o'clock that night, we are open to everyone in the village and we have got a choir coming.
We have got mould wine.
We are doing cookie decorating.
Santa's going to be walking around.
And basically, I just feel like it's such a good way of bringing the village
together and like just people get into know each other because what's that saying about it takes
a village to bring a kid up yeah yeah the only way you can all do that together is if you all know
each other and I just feel like that's how you do it at Christmas I think it's absolutely brilliant
and what you also said in the message to me earlier which I loved is you never know who needs
help and you never know what people are going through and people can put on a little bit of a
front. And I think if you can open your doors in your village hall and anyone can just pop
in, I think that makes it really open and safe and not, people aren't going to be embarrassed
because it's just a lovely thing to do.
Oh, yeah. Because everyone's going to be there, Matt, you know, and I just feel like some of
those little kids, they might not get that otherwise, Nat. They really might not get that. And
I just want to make it as special as I possibly can that night for those little children. And for
me, I knocked on a few doors, not last year, but the year before, with the sack that I'd
made up. And honestly, I come home that night, and I broke my heart to Pete, and I said to him,
our girls do not realise how lucky they are, because these kids, they still say hello to me
when they see me walking through the village now, that they're that kind lady.
Yeah, because they're not going to forget that. They're never going to forget that.
Oh, well, you're like Mrs Christmas.
Oh, God. I've got my mum saying.
the next thing you have been right old love oh don't i've got i've got watery eyes here i just think it's so
brilliant honestly i think you're honestly breath of fresh air yeah yeah and know what nat right
even if like people that live near me want to come and actually they they can you know like
afford to have christmas what i call the magical way yes still come along because how nice is that for
everyone to be together it's christmas we should all be together i completely
agree. Will you do me a favour
trace on Sunday? Obviously
this is complicated because
this is coming out on Monday. But on
Sunday, make sure I get to
see you. So make sure you message
me and we can have a cuddle because
I need to hug you.
I'm not having a little crying now now. I'd love to come and have a little
cuddle with you. Did you know what? Like I got
my mum into it. I kept saying to her
and mum, you've got a following that. And then the other
day she came down, so you watches all your
stories and she went, I can't believe
if I like you two are, you could be like, sister,
even when I listen to her talk.
What's your mum's name?
I know.
What's your mum's name?
Linda.
Hello, Linda.
Hello, Nat.
Is you all right, darling?
I'm all good.
Linda, are you coming on Sunday to see us?
You know what?
Yes, I was, and now no, I'm not,
because my husband's taking me away for a weekend.
Oh, but that's lovely, isn't it?
Oh, nice treats.
It is lovely, and that's what I said to her.
She texts me and said, oh, Trace, I feel gutted.
Do you know what?
And I'm not going to lie, right?
I didn't even invite her.
I told her, I mean, Pete was coming,
and then all of a sudden she was getting tickets to cash.
Oh, well, that's our date night, like, out the window.
But, yeah, I said to go, you just got to make the most of life,
ain't you?
And she'll have a lovely time away with my dad.
That's really lovely.
Yeah, you will get to see her.
Yes, don't worry.
We'll get together.
We'll get together at some point.
Don't worry.
All right, well, listen, I'm so pleased.
Text me.
Yeah.
I will.
I'm not going to text you Sunday morning, but good luck.
I can't wait to see you.
and you're all going to be amazing.
Thank you very much.
And if you've got any questions for any of the pods,
scraping the barrel, Tony Talks, we're all there.
Everyone's there.
All right, love.
So any questions?
Okay.
Pop on my way.
I will do.
And also, can you tell Mark that I can't make to see him even at
because I can't bear the thought of him feeling left out, babe?
Oh, don't worry about him.
He's fine, thank you.
But I will let him know.
I promise.
All right, darling.
All right.
I'll put my love to Joanie.
We'll do.
All right.
See you on Sunday.
See you, Trace.
Bye, Linda.
Bye.
There are just good people in the world.
What a great idea.
You know, if you've got a bit of time on your hands
and maybe a more fortunate than others,
why not put a little Facebook post up
and say, is there anybody in need of some advent calendars
and then pop them around and deliver them?
I'm going to talk to a couple of my friends where I live
and see if anybody needs some.
What a fantastic idea and what a great thing to do.
She's set up a GoFundMe, I believe,
and then people donated to the page.
So all these little things are so good.
And actually, it being children in need today,
I know it'll be over.
But watching Sarah and what she's done,
these ultra-marathons,
great northern runs over hills and mountains and valleys
and pains and tears
and raising all that money, you know,
it's so inspiring.
So just if everyone just did a little something for someone else,
how many people would you make happy?
And it is.
It's just absolutely amazing.
It's the matcha or the three ensemble
Cadocephora of the fact that I've been to denishé who my energize
all the ensemble.
The form of standard and mini-regrouped.
Hello, Ben.
And the embellage, too beau,
who is practically pre to donate.
And I know that I'd love them offriar.
Look at the Summer Fridays and Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez.

I'm going to have a little chat now with who I've put into my phone as Kim Christmas.
Because even last year we spoke about Christmas and how much you love Christmas.
She sent me a massive list of films to watch
Christmas specials
because me and else were talking about it the other day
I'm saving that
because we can get into those
on Annette's nieces very soon
but what I am going to do
is give her a tinkle
and have a little chat about a few things
so here we go
Hello? Hello, Kim.
Hello. How are you? You good?
Yeah, really good. How are you?
Do you know what? I was just telling the listeners, because we are live on the pod.
I was just telling the listeners that in my phone, you won't believe me, you're under as Kim Christmas, Kiss, Kiss, Kiss, Dibbon.
As long as this Kiss, Kiss, Kiss, you're not like X, X, X, X.
No, it's kiss, kiss, kiss.
Goody, and that's accurate.
It is accurate because we have been speaking, well, since the pod started really,
because you're a Christmas nut like me, aren't you?
Yeah, I am.
How's it going?
What Christmas stuff have you been up to?
Do you know what, actually, not much yet?
Fine, neither have I. Good. Nice to hear.
A little bit of shopping here and there, but not, you know, nothing big.
No.
And I'm feeling like actually I'm a bit out of the loop.
everybody seems to be getting on with stuff and I think, oh no.
Do you feel like this year? Do you feel like this year? Everyone's really going for it.
I know.
It's making me feel, hang on a minute, do I love Christmas as much as I say I do?
Or what's going on here? Because I do. I love it. But it is still a little early. What do you think?
I know. No, I completely agree. And sometimes I think it would be easier to not love it as much because then it
wouldn't be such a big job having to do all the decorations and stuff.
If you were just a family that had one tree,
yeah, a bit of tints, though, it's easy, isn't it?
But I think, right, I have to block out a whole weekend to get on my decks up.
And actually, it's quite a lot of work.
It is quite a lot of work.
But that is why I think we should do it within the next fortnight or so,
because otherwise, you're putting them up and you're bringing them down again within five minutes.
I know.
And you were saying the other day, weren't you, about doing it gradually.
And I think, yeah, I think that's the way to go.
I think, Joni wants to put her Christmas tree up tomorrow in her bed.
room. So she's going to get on with that. It's fair enough. It's fine. The weekend after,
I think I'm going to do my kitchen tree. And then the following weekend, the one before the, you
know, December week, I think I'll do the lounge. Do you have a real one, a real tree?
I don't have a real tree, no, because I put them a bit earlier. Exactly. Otherwise, you don't
know how long they're going to last, do you? No. Some of my decorations are quite heavy. And I just,
I think it would be a bit of a disaster. It looked like.
like a very sad, limp tree by the end of it.
Yeah, you don't want that.
I don't want it.
Is Joni's finger okay?
Yes.
Do you know what, Kim?
What I've said is listen to this pod Monday,
and it's got the story on there.
I shan't bore the list of down.
All right, then.
I can't.
That's fine.
It's fine.
It's fine.
I've popped her back to school.
All is well.
All is well.
Perfect.
You were talking about feeling run down, you know, this time of year.
I was really ill for two days this week.
oh no today is the first day where i feel myself yesterday i felt like crap and the day before
i felt horrendous yeah mark buys costco vitamins in great big tubs he has a multi-vitamin
plain multi-vitamin from there i think they're kirkland or something is the sort of you know
name of it yeah he has a multi-vitamin from there and he also has a vitamin d3
and he has these great big tubs
and I say to him
oh really are they going to work
but since he's been taking them
for a couple of years
I have to say
he doesn't really get ill
well there you go then
is there truth in it
I don't take them regularly enough
I forget
that's my problem
I start with really good intentions
and I'll do it solidly
for a couple of weeks
and then get bored
and forget
absolutely
hence why Roro had a pill box
Oh, that's what I've done.
Yeah.
Yeah, a little cheap one off of Amazon, stick them in there.
Although I'm still always a couple of days behind, so it's not working great.
No, but it's better, isn't it, with a pillbox I find?
The thoughts there?
I have tried the bone broth soups.
DeVinia Taylor has just brought out some bone broth soups.
I did get gifted them kindly.
They sent them to me, I have to say.
I have not been paid for this.
I'm not getting paid for it, but they did send them to me.
But because I've got a relationship with her, they send me the new bits.
Yeah, of course.
I've got to say, for lunch, I've had chicken and mushrooms so far.
It's like a cup of soup, just chucking on a, you know, boiling water with a fork.
They're really good, and they've got a lot of goodness in them.
Oh, really?
Well, they say bone broth is very good for us, ladies.
It's meant to be extremely good for our joints, our brain health, you know, the fogginess that we can get, that sort of thing.
I highly recommend these cup of soups Kim
See my problem is I'm veggie
There's a tomato and there's a mushroom
Oh
But has it got bone in it
I see what you're saying
So I think that's probably half my problem
And I'm so tired all the time
Yeah you're veggie not vegan
No not vegan I like cheese too much
Right hang on
Bone broth
soup because iron is the biggie isn't it for energy a lot of the time now the other thing you can
take is if you i did speak about it on the pod a little while ago but um metatone have you heard of
that oh my mum used to make me have that right it's really old-fashioned yeah you get it in the chemist
yeah whenever we've been poorly it's really good if you're you know feeling a bit down
Yeah
I can remember her forcing us to have that
If you'll run down
It'll perk you back up
It'll do you good
It is, it does do you good
I promise you
So that is another one
Bone broth
Let me find this for you
Because it's driving me mad
Bone broth
Soup
Sorry I didn't want to give you admin
To do
It's no problem
50% bone broth
In every serving
Made from beef bones
Yeah that's the problem
It's my fault
Oh shit, yeah
Never mind
It's fine
I'll stick to the spinach
And the broccoli
Oh, I'm really sorry
Yeah, you can't have it
That's all right
The thought was there
The thought was there
Listen, a bottle of metatone
Vitamin D3
Rather than in a multivitamin
Have a vitamin D3
And that is meant to be very good
And you know something
The other thing
I have to say
Sometimes a good old barocca
Going back to the old
school. But I do think they perk you up. Yeah, they definitely do. So I think that you should
get yourself some more brokhas. A little bottle of metatone. Are you feeling just tired all the
time? You're just feeling run down? Yeah, well, I'm not even that bad. I'm just trying,
it's like prevention is better than cure. I just know it's coming when everyone is saying,
oh, there's so much going around. And I think, no, I haven't got time for that. Not for me this
year. No, it's so true, isn't it?
And why are you so busy?
Tell us, tell us why you're so busy.
What's going on?
Oh, do you wrong?
Is that not boring?
What's not boring?
Well, my life, do you want to hear about that?
I would really like to know what's going on and why you're so busy, please.
All right, well, I've got two jobs.
Yep.
So my main job is I make cakes.
Brilliant.
Birthday cakes, wedding cakes, all that sort of thing.
And I've got a little cake shed outside my house where I sell cakes from.
Oh, I love this.
got quite busy.
Brilliant.
Thank you.
And it's got quite busy.
So that's sort of a lot of work every week.
What's your Instagram for your cakes?
It's Kim's Kitchen Bakes.
Kim's Kitchen Bakes.
Oh.
I sent Naomi some in the post, actually.
Back along.
Oh, that's lovely.
Right.
I'm following.
Remember when she had that trouble with people being horrible, she had a bit of the troll situation.
Yes.
I certainly do.
And I thought, no, no, no.
I think she needs something nice.
I sent us some brownies in the post, and she loved them, so that's good.
So, kind of you.
Well, it wasn't very nice, was it?
No, it was awful, quite frankly.
And the other job is dinner ladying.
Oh, really?
Oh, that's good.
Yeah.
I like that.
Which is an hour and a half a day, but draining.
And do you have children at the school?
No, they go to a different school, luckily.
Right, okay.
I've always found it.
I think it would be a bit more.
Yeah, it's interesting.
I don't want to say too much.
I don't want to upset anyone.
But I have always found it, I don't know, I don't know if I'd want to go into my own children's school at lunchtime.
I think it's a bit mean for them in a way because I think it's their time to be themselves, isn't it?
And do their own thing without your parents looking over you all the time?
I completely agree with you.
Please do you said it.
I didn't, but I agree with you.
I don't mind upsetting everyone.
It's fine.
Lovely.
Thank you.
You won't be trolled, I hope.
I promise.
No.
It'll be all right.
so you've got those two jobs on the go so that's quite a lot going on yeah and then children wise two kids
how old are they they're 10 and 8 oh wow wow boys or girls yeah one of each one of each
yeah okay and uh have a geriatric cat who likes to wake me up during the night which doesn't really help either
does she or he sit on your head no he just goes on and on and on doesn't realize it's night
thinks it's time to eat you know oh bless
him. Well, it sounds like you have got a lot to do, but you've got to get decorating soon, Kim.
We've got to do it. We've got a lot of telly to watch. We've got a lot of films to watch that you've
kindly sent me as well. I know, but that's another stress, isn't it? Because I thought,
actually, that's a long list. It's really long, which is why I said, you've got to start now in the
evenings, putting something on. Yeah, one a day. You've got to get it on. Really important.
Have you had your door done yet? No, that should be next Wednesday, hopefully.
Fingers crossed.
Exciting.
Very, very exciting.
I can't wait.
Have you got a show this weekend?
We have got a show this weekend.
Crawley.
Crawley, with all of us.
So it's every element of the family.
How exciting.
Really exciting.
Really exciting.
I couldn't get the dates to work, sadly.
I really wanted to come to the Christmas one,
but we've already got a night away in Christmas markets booked elsewhere.
Well, that sounds like a dream.
And I'm sure that next year you'll be able to see us somewhere else.
So don't worry about it.
Yes, I really hope so.
I'm sure you will.
It's been absolutely lovely chatting to you, Kim.
Yeah, and you.
And to finally talk to you after all of the year and a half of messaging about Christmas,
I hope you have the best Christmas ever.
Please send me pictures once you've decorated.
Oh, I will.
I hope you have a lovely one as well.
Thank you.
Fingers crossed for some snow this year.
please it needs to yeah it's a bit mild we need it to start getting a bit colder ready for
December even just a bit of frost yeah a little bit of Jack Frost I'll be happy yes all right well
lovely to speak to you anyway and you my love enjoy the rest of your weekend thank you keep
listening and I'll talk to you soon oh I will see you soon thank you bye bye lovely Kim I do get what
she means you know because I do feel a little bit like I'm my
Mrs Grinch, where I've not done much yet, and everyone around me's sort of got bags and
wrapping paper and just doing mad things that they never, ever do, which is then putting me off
a little bit, but it's fine. I'm going to get going when I want to get going. Had such a
lovely message from lovely Joe in Hitching. Oh my God, I've just seen that Pat Butcher is back
on EastEnders at Christmas. Epic. I'm feeling like Sonia will be.
be back one day in a flashback. Sonia, Janine, Martin, Stacey. Let's bring Jamie back to.
Firstly, I hope I haven't missed this, but Stacey isn't dead. Please, that's all I need.
So Stacey can come back at any time she wants. Sonia can come back whenever she wants. She's not dead.
Janine is in prison, so she can turn up at any time, and especially being Janine, she'll probably
escape from prison at any given moment. Martin and Jamie are both dead, so they would have to be
flashbacks. But when I saw the picture of the beautiful Pam St Clement, alongside Paul Bradley,
who plays Nigel, and obviously it's his dementia storyline, so they're bringing him, you know,
together with Pat, I would assume, I'm not there, so I don't know, which is really annoying.
It is quite annoying, not knowing what's going on.
Usually sort of, you know, you're in the know when you're working there.
But I'm just like you guys now.
But when I saw the picture, I thought how brilliant.
Because she's so iconic, Pat.
Pa.
Pat.
I mean, Frank was brilliant.
But her earrings, her look, you know, it's just a bet.
Pat Butcher was one of the best.
And I can't wait to see her on screen again.
So, yeah, very, very good.
And I like the idea of doing kind of a 90s flashback
Just going back to sort of the late 90s
With all the people that were there
It would be such a fun episode
Maybe maybe that's something they can do at some point
I think people would love it
A little bit of nostalgia
Me, Jack Ryder
Obviously Michelle Ryan's back now anyway playing Zoe
So Zoe's there
Get Us All Together
James by
Or Alexandra
Andrew, who played the first Martin.
You could go right back in time, actually,
and do like super nostalgia episode.
It'd be quite funny.
But yeah, I did.
I saw that, and it did make me smile.
And she's such a wonderful lady.
So I hope she's had a lovely time there.
I wonder what we've got in store,
freestender's Christmas Day.
Don't know now.
Would have filmed it by now.
Would know all about it.
It is one that I will pop on on Christmas Day.
It's always a cracker in it.
Talking of crackers, just to let you all know, the All Together for Christmas book by Sarah Morgan, I'm absolutely loving it.
I've got, I've got sort of, not halfway, but nearly halfway through.
And I've got a beautiful bookmark that someone made me and gave it to me at my book tour, which I love.
So I hope you can see that I'm using it.
It's got an end on it.
Natalie, Cassidy. It's got a wine bottle on it and a little high heel for Strictly,
which I thought was so clever. You see that?
That's lovely.
Anyway, thank you for my bookmark. If you haven't started the Christmas book yet,
I highly recommend it. Didn't think I was going to like it. Really, really good read.
getting very interesting now
love the way it's written
really really Christmassy
absolutely love it
and then I'm going to move on
in December
to the Advent book
that you all know about
but yeah
I'm really really enjoying the book
and I shall do book club
for that possibly in about
10 days or so
so you have got plenty of time
if you want to grab it
and sort of speed read it
have a little go
because it's really good
gets you right in the mood
I hope you've enjoyed today
it's a lovely
relaxing, Natch chats, talking to the people that matter. It was lovely to hear from Tracy,
from Kim and from Emma. And I hope you all enjoyed that too. Please send me your messages,
your ideas for topics, 0778, 2019-19. I love hearing from you all. Honestly, this pod,
it just makes my life complete. So thanks for all you do. Tell all your friends about it.
it and make sure you follow us as well and I'll talk to you on Thursday. I'm not sure who
we've yet. See if I'll be scraping the barrel, eh? Lots of love. Bye.
