There is something quite noticeable happening with the moon right now,
especially if you're someone who likes to tune in to lunar cycles.
Fucking shattered.
I feel that I've been run over.
I've been so tired.
Did kind of put that down to Sunday evening.
I've still been putting mine down to Friday doing 25,000 days.
Message from Samantha.
Thought of you this morning.
when I type this into chat GPT about the moon,
I know I've used a huge amount of water asking this question,
but I needed a quick answer as I feel so flat, it's unreal.
And yes.
I need to remember to do stuff like this when I feel like this
because I cannot put my finger on it.
That's what it is.
I feel like I've got the, my shoulders feel so heavy.
You've got the weight of the world on the shoulders.
I have.
I feel flawed.
Yeah, I've been extremely tired.
And actually, since I was at Mums on last Thursday,
And I said, Mom, I can't move.
Yeah, remember you saying that?
I feel exa.
And there was no reason then.
Absolutely drained.
It's the moon.
Full moon.
Full moon now, this weekend.
Tomorrow, actually.
This goes out Friday.
So Friday it goes.
But we should all feel lighter and more energized by the 1st of September.
Which is when?
Monday.
Okay.
So Sunday, you're coming around for a roast.
Is that correct?
It is.
I am so excited about doing my first row.
What meat?
Whatever you want.
Excellent.
Beef.
Beef.
When I tell you Sunday.
You're fucking alcoholic.
I cooked the most amazing bit of steak.
Quite hammered.
Intoxicated.
It was a bone-in sirloin.
How good was it?
It was really good.
I mean, when I say like the most powerful.
Perfect pink in the middle, but no blood.
And then she, like, just how Nat liked it.
You did a chimitoury, which was beautiful.
How nice is it?
Unbelievable.
Natalie in the morning was like, I had to brush my teeth for about 10 minutes because it's the garlic.
I woke up, I was like, it was unreal.
Oh, it sounds good.
It was excellent.
Oh, damn.
It was very, very good.
What was more excellent is I am, unfortunately, getting older and growing up, and I got to a point and I was like, oh,
I'm boozy now.
I felt tipsy.
Six points of water later.
And woke up right as rain.
Stop drinking.
Wow.
Yeah, no, I didn't feel terrible.
But I was like, come on, Joan, let's play Uno.
I was so excited to play Uno.
And then we got halfway through a game.
She was like, I'm tired, I'm going to bed.
So then we just carried on playing.
We did play Uno for a while.
I did think you sound a bit tipsy in the video you sent me.
Yeah, we were.
John, he was cracking me up.
But yeah, no, that was, yeah, you've got to do beef, really.
Definitely.
Yes, we will.
cauliflower cheese.
If you're doing it, I think you've got to go in.
Yeah, we can do it.
Honey roast carrots with your lovely carrots.
I'm going to do a hot wait to use those.
Why don't you do some parsnips next year?
I'd love to do some past nips.
Oh.
Not for dinner.
It's for dinner next.
You know, that date we're coming around next October.
Yeah, that'd like to do a lot more food.
next year.
You don't use parsnips a lot.
I do in the winter.
I eat more parsuits and potatoes.
But where are you keeping these?
Freeze them, blanche them, freeze them.
Oh, yeah.
I'm going to do that tonight with the carrots.
That's my evening.
Well, no, but you've got to keep the veg.
Well, no, but if you plant them later, as you've said, and you start picking them
October, it's the end of September, I think you'll be all right.
It's good.
To me, like I know what I'm talking about.
Well, yeah, I'm not even sure when they get picked, but yes, I would like to do.
so.
I think that's why people have like greenhouses and things.
I'm going to get a greenhouse.
Where?
To put where?
I don't know.
I need them.
Like she was going to get a swimming pool this year, everyone.
No, but that's a very different thing.
The hottest summer we've had and zero.
Lucky you didn't because we haven't been here once for a sunny day.
When we say swimming pool, by the way, I did mean one, you know, on poles.
It's not a big pool.
Paddling pool that stays up throughout the summer.
Yes.
Yeah.
That didn't happen.
It didn't.
No, you're getting the greenhouse.
Oh, we've all been away a lot.
Same with the aircon.
I mean, it's just...
It's just gone very quick.
Isn't it flown?
But I do think...
Has it flown?
I think as well, it's because...
I know it's irrelevant for me
because I don't have children at school,
but I still feel the impact because I...
To holidays.
But it's also because the weather's been nice.
So it's very easy for people to just go to a park or...
I think when the weather's shit
and you've been sat in all day
or you're thinking I have to plan.
a day, it makes it go a bit slower.
But people are just getting out.
And it has been particularly busy.
It's been busy.
We have.
But I think everyone I speak to, like my friends are like, it's gone quite quick.
Really.
Because again, they just can get up and have a couple of hours at home and go to another
park for a couple of hours.
And that sort of breaks the day up.
Whereas when it's pissing down with rain, like it normally is, you're sort of sat
inside thinking of things to do.
I think it's different for me because this is really the first summer where I feel
like I've been around, properly around.
Yeah, yeah.
So it feels long.
But you've had a lot of, really?
Yeah.
And you've had two holidays?
Yeah, but I feel like it's gone on forever.
Really?
Yeah, it's been amazing.
I can't, oh, I can't believe.
I'm now ready, ready for some routine, ready for the children to go back.
Me too.
I know I've said it before, but fucking, I went to the park today.
Just kids everywhere.
It's summer holidays.
I know, go back to school.
Poor little James is like trying to jump on this thing, this big kid, just like,
Comes past, I'm like, I'm fucking knock you out.
I know you shouldn't, but it is annoying.
No, I know, but it's just like, I'm like, just chill out a minute.
You're going to get your time back.
Yeah, no.
I know I sort of panicked just, I was like, shit, I haven't paid for school swimming.
Then I had to order towels, swimming hats.
I haven't ordered their cardigans and their jumpers.
Yeah, I did that.
I did that yesterday.
That stuff I understand, but it is funny when every.
you go into any shop now, it's like, whoa, stationary, bang, in your face.
Is it essential that every year you have to buy all new stationary?
Yeah.
Is it, though?
Or is that Joni's only got to have stationary from this year?
Yeah, I don't think mine needed, but I still buy them.
Well, I don't really, not Ruby, but Alfie, I bought him a Spurs pencil case.
Yeah, but that was a birthday present.
But I do feel like you get this thing of, oh, I should get them a new this and that.
That's because it's in the shop.
It's, yeah, it's marketing, isn't it?
And also, their tastes do change.
Yes
You know, they're into one thing
The next year they're not
But what do they need it for?
Like you said
Joanie, does Joanie take a pencil case?
She has done in the past
But she doesn't need
But this year she needs a case
With things in it
Does she?
Yes
And she's going into year six
Correct
So she hasn't had a need
Because they get their pens, pencils,
rubbers
She has a little case
With a few bits in it
But I haven't done it
Every year
No
I've done a new pencil case
She always has a new bag
though
Yeah
And I haven't done that yet
Because it only because it gets battered.
It is battered.
The Alfie's in mint condition and actually he could still have his.
But you just feel like, I can go to school with the same bag.
No, he can.
He definitely can.
He's got a spurs one now.
Oh, so he can have a spurs one?
Yeah.
Well, he doesn't have to have a school one.
No, he had a book bag and even last year he had his Minecraft backpack.
So they don't have to have the school thing, you know that way?
No, Ruby will.
Ruby still will have that.
Why?
I don't know.
I just do it in.
For the little ones, yeah.
Oh, I thought they had to have the school one until, like, forever.
No, they try and, they say in the younger years
because there's not as much room in the classrooms, put it on the pegs.
But I think as they go up, that all changes, so there's a bit more room.
I mean, Alfie's got, you'll have a swimming bag, a school bag, a football bag, it's mad, pee bag.
It's ridiculous.
Yeah, just trying to remember.
What's different bits and pieces, bring up?
Clim souls.
Yeah, wait till they're in secondary school and you need to make sure they've packed their
books. I do you remember doing that?
Well, now it's a laptop.
There's only probably for Eliza
maths and history she has a book.
Is that in every school?
Most schools, yeah.
Well, they give them a laptop?
Yeah.
Really?
Yes.
Wow.
Every school.
Oh, fuck me.
We're not every.
Most schools.
State schools, I can't imagine.
They do.
Oh, they do it all on their phones or tablets.
All their homework.
In state schools, they all come home with a laptop.
I don't believe that.
I don't know whether they have to buy it or they do.
It's all done.
They don't know.
And Eliza, isn't it funny?
The lesson she enjoys most, which she doesn't even realize it correlates,
maths and history she loves and she likes a book, she likes writing down.
So I think that we're missing a trick there.
That is a bit mad.
I get it for certain things, but.
Can someone listen, can you confirm that for us?
I'm not saying it's every school.
But there are lots and lots and lots of schools.
Definitely around here.
People I know, they do it all on their phone, home up on their phones.
You know, I don't like that.
Well, that's the world we're living in, honey.
Yeah, I do think that is.
Oh, dear.
So what's the point of them learning to write?
Well, it's a basic skill that you need to learn to write.
But it's not...
You don't really need it anymore.
No, you don't.
But also, if you need to write a birthday card and you don't know how to write...
All right, Tone.
No, all right, there's things
What, give me one
Write an address on an envelope
Because you're sending something
No, what you don't say
What'd you send?
What are you sending?
You're not sending anything
You're not sending anything.
Guys, can you chill the fuck out?
There will be things that you need to write
Give it to me
You fill out of form
When you're in a waiting room for something
No, it's all on iPads
Wow
No, I've done some paper ones
Well, they need to get iPads
Oh, I've done things
Well, when I went from my MRI
It was all on paper,
It was all on paper, it wasn't an iPad
You're just ticking a few boxes
If you don't know how to write
You don't have to do it to do it
No you know no no
Listen I'm with you
It is a skill that I want people to write letters
I love writing
I've got a diary
I'm not
I hate the computer
Yeah I do see if I'm writing a list
I like to I do
I do do it on my phone
Because I think of it when I'm out
But I like to I do like to write
I still write on my calendar
Yeah
I still can't do the phone calendar
No I'm on the phone
Are you?
Calendar
Yeah
Because I've bought them before.
I just don't.
I write in it after the event just to fill it up.
No, I like to have the whole month in front of me.
But again, when I'm busy, what's happening?
In time, I think I will need that when it's a lot of school things.
But for me, yeah, I'd use my phone.
But writing, come on, there must be some more things.
I don't know.
I think it's...
Birthday cards.
I know you say Moon Peak, but majority of the time...
People don't really send cards anymore.
It's an anomaly.
What, people don't buy a card for their nephew.
Yeah, but I'm saying like, but I know, that's basic right.
I'm not saying you've got to write, but I'm saying that's basic.
No, but that, you four and five, you are learning basic writing, aren't you?
What are you talking about?
You have to, if no one taught you how to do that, you wouldn't know how to do it.
No, I'm not saying that, I'm saying, of course they don't need to know the basics,
but this whole back in the day, you're writing having to be perfect,
you could only get pen when you used to write like this.
Those don't, I'm so sorry.
Those days are long gone, aren't they?
What is that?
My alarm.
Christmas cards, people don't, I don't send them anymore.
No.
Don't bother.
What do you do?
Four months the day.
Four months the day.
Well, not when this comes out, but since we're recorded on the 25th.
Four months.
Exciting.
I'm not.
It's too quick.
It's too soon.
We've got ages.
And do you know what?
You say that.
We're talking about going back to school and all that.
We've still got a few days.
I've still got a Christmas.
I've just present.
So how about that one?
Have you?
Have you.
Who for?
Not telling.
Why?
Because.
Oh, boring.
Got the first Christmas.
I know it is a bit boring, but it feels like it's a long way away, but it isn't.
Can we believe that James is going to be two?
I can't believe it.
In like six weeks' time.
Yeah, it's crazy.
It's really sad.
When you think about being pregnant on the pod, Lans right, I'd like that to stop now.
Why?
I want him to stay there now.
Oh, no.
To who?
Yeah, I'd like him to stay there.
That feels like...
It's nice.
It's a nice age.
Three's nice, four's not.
I mean, seven is freak out.
Seven is...
He's so cute.
Yeah, he's so cute.
I feel like he's getting so grown up.
He is so grown up.
He is like, yeah, both of them.
I feel like Alfie was younger at five than what Ruby is.
Definitely.
But that's a way...
That's why I get where I get earlier.
But when I think of them when they're...
I mean, it feels like forever ago.
Seven.
No, I think as well, it's just because when we were doing the pod and I was pregnant,
I don't know, I sort of have that thing.
Yeah, of course.
And it's just mad that we're there already.
Time flies.
Absolutely shocker.
Yeah, they're going into year three and year one.
I have got the girls tomorrow for a sleepover.
You do.
Oh, excellent.
Are we doing something?
No.
Oh, was you going to let me know?
Yeah, so sorry.
Just remembered.
I'll talk to you about that.
But yes, I'm looking forward to that as well.
Well, I had Amelia sleep over on Saturday.
Yes.
And they topped and tailed.
Were they as good as gold?
Good as gold.
I mean, we went to bed quite late.
Where are they going to sleep?
With Johnny?
No?
All the best.
They'll be fine.
Yeah, we had a bit of a late night because I wanted to watch a film.
We watched like 20 minutes and they were like falling asleep.
Yeah, I won't be getting in his bed, don't they?
They can just have a nice late night we're made tomorrow.
And that means when they get into bed, they're gone and they will sleep.
No, they were good.
There's gold.
Oh, nice.
Is Joni excited?
Yes.
Yeah, it's cute.
It will be nice.
I think I'm going to take them for a bit of dinner.
Why can I take them?
Anywhere, baby.
I might come.
Yeah.
Please do.
I'll let you know.
I need to talk to you both.
I want to apologise for how much I ever go at you about being on your phone playing games.
Hmm.
Because I've found a game.
It's so good.
What is it?
Bubble World Jam.
How good is it?
How long have you been playing it?
Cat is, I've got Cat hooked.
Oh, so good.
It's unbelievable.
But I haven't, I'm currently playing.
Tadda!
What level are you on?
I can't believe it.
I haven't played it as much as probably you two because I still am obsessed with the other game.
No, but I'm not playing it.
I'm only on level 16.
Oh, boring.
What are you on?
104.
What?
My whole holiday, Maria.
I was obsessed with it.
Wow, welcome to our world.
I'm only on level...
Sorry, I'm in some sort of competition.
I'm only level 33
because I'm currently obsessed with busch traffic fever.
So I have to sort of give most of my time to that.
Do you know what one that is when you put the car in our?
I had a man on the aeroplane and I didn't know.
So I'm sat on the aeroplane and this man was, I'd say,
late 50s, early 60s, for the whole duration of the
around a 50 minute flight.
He was playing that game.
Is that why you downloaded it?
Do you not need...
No, the bus thing.
Oh, my one.
Because Joni went, that's the game Ellie plays.
Do you not need internet?
Mine you do, which is annoying.
Yeah, no, I don't think you do.
The ads annoy me, though.
Every time I get the pop-up to pay for the no ads,
I think, oh, I really want to do it.
Five moves left.
But that's how I've got into that,
because that game that we played, all the ads come up,
and you're like, oh, I don't like that.
And you want to see the adverts you get on these.
There's one where it's like a picture.
No, and you've got to press the colour bubbles
and you've got to press the...
Oh, or the arrow one.
Do you ever get that one?
No, I'll tell you what I got on holiday
which was very deeply disturbing.
Oh, the kid.
With the mum.
And she's got burnt eyes and they're...
And the mum walks in with the baby
and there's a bra that falls down
and the dad's there and so she leaves the dad
and then it's freezing cold.
And it's like, pick your decision and she's like,
or the old couple sitting in the chair.
Do you put the fire in?
You close the window?
What do you do?
Yeah.
Some of them ones.
I like the one with the, like, Bunts and Burner bottles where you have to, like, put the colours.
I have seen that, a test tube thing.
Yeah.
Or there's a wall one.
It's like a wall and you have to click and it's like a corn.
No, fuck all that.
I have to be honest, no.
No, but the worst thing is I'm on the ads and I'm playing the ads.
Yeah, same.
And then before I know, I'm like, and then you've downloaded it.
Oh, you're black, yeah.
And then you've downloaded it ice.
No, for me, this is unbelievable.
There are words I don't know.
I have to come off and I have to look them up.
What about when the words are split and you have to them?
Yeah, that's good.
That's all right. That's good.
But how was your holiday?
It was lovely.
We had a lovely time.
Did you play bubble word jam the whole time?
Yes, I did.
It was lovely.
Really, really nice.
Lovely weather.
And you went for quite a long time?
Nine days.
Long enough?
Could have done more days.
Really?
Yeah.
Wow.
But you said you were ready to come home.
I was ready to come home, but I still think you could do that those two travel days.
Yeah.
you could do like nine days there.
How is the flight?
Two hour, 50 minutes.
Oh, nothing.
Nothing at all.
No, but still, what time are you getting there?
By the time you get from the, you've losing that day.
We were five minutes from the airport.
Oh, no.
Which was unbelievable.
And again, I know, interesting that.
I wonder what people would think about the flight path.
Because obviously the planes are very low.
But it doesn't bother me.
Does it not?
Does it not bother.
In terms of being in my villa.
Constant aeroplanes going over your head.
But it wasn't because it's such a small airport.
there's probably 12 flights
I don't even think
but I love the fact
I love being near the end of all
I love that
I was like Santorini
literally 10 minutes away
It is lovely being close
When you get there
You're like an hour and a half
To your head
No not for me
I like being close
It doesn't bother that
No I think we're at worst about 45
But you're going to have that
When you're going somewhere
It's different
Yeah absolutely
But no if I really enjoyed it
And there is a lovely
little Patreon holiday spesh because me and Mark did a few little recordings.
So I'll be out next week.
We never do that, do we?
No.
It's very different though when it's calm.
Yeah, it's true.
We get up.
Something else I wanted to talk to you about.
Does it mean I'm unhappy at home?
But on a holiday, I am up at the crack of dawn.
Can't wait to get up like a child.
So excited.
Yeah, but it's a different out there.
Is that different environment?
It's a whole different environment.
You're going to sit round the pool.
You want to make the most of your days.
It's not like you're getting up to do a school run, do washing, do a food shop.
But they're saying that in Santorini, some mornings, I was waking up at like 9, half 9.
Breakfast in bed, got up at like half 10.
So it was quite nice actually to do the leisurely thing.
And I feel like you have to rush around or make the most of the sun or it was just, yeah.
So I think, yeah, it's both.
It's just something I love about everyone being asleep on holiday and get up.
and doing your bit, having your little minute.
But even that, I don't drink coffee.
I was getting up using the coffee machine.
It's funny, isn't it?
Like completely different.
Sitting just having 10 minutes apiece with a coffee.
Oh, that's nothing better.
All you need those are fag?
Yeah, that would just be like,
I did nearly buy some, but I don't really enjoy them.
No, you won't enjoy it.
You did it in Italy, and you were like, bleh.
I know.
When?
In Italy.
Dom's wedding.
Oh, yeah, I remember that.
And it was absolutely horrendous.
But yeah, I'd enjoy myself.
We went to All Points East on Friday.
It was so good.
Yeah, it's such a good time, didn't we?
Oh, the festival.
Sorry, yeah.
Good time.
There was a dust warning.
Dust, dust.
And every time we said about it, everyone was going,
Dust, anybody knew dust.
There was a dust warning.
Right.
And what did that mean?
It meant that sort of we couldn't breathe by the end of the night,
the next morning.
The next day, we were very chesty.
Kate still can't speak.
Her whole voice has gone.
gone, felt like I'd smoked about 60,000 vogue in a day, just sort of dust coming out of
every orifice nose is.
I got home, I had dust resting on my cheap boat.
I looked like I'd been.
Throughout the day, we'd sort of look at someone and go, oh, your tash, just literally
dark, black.
I first noticed it.
I had a bit of a runny nose.
I went to toilet.
I went like that.
And I was like, oh, my God, what is this?
And then I looked at my white vest top.
Honestly, so I was wearing high-wasted trousers, unlike now.
So you can't stand up a minute.
Elias sat with a vest-up and knickers on.
I'm sweating and I was going to put these shorts on, but now I'm not keeping them,
so I just decided to go commando.
No, I have got knickers on.
It's like locked down all over again.
So I had the high-wasted shorts on.
So half of my top was brand-new white vest-top pristine.
the other half black.
Did you throw it away?
It's all bubbled.
Really bad quality.
I'm sorry.
Where's it from?
Next.
20 quid though for a vest top.
When I'm talking, this is a Zara one, maybe 14 pounds.
I'm not happy.
All of them have done it.
All bubbled more than once.
We should take them back.
They're very good next.
No, they've said to take them in on that.
I'm obsessed with buying vest tops.
All I do every hour goes, just buy a vest top.
I think it's because I'm not.
on a vest top for about
approximately 12 years.
Now I can sort of wear them.
I just buy them.
Every time I see one,
I went in Tesco the other day.
I was like,
that's lovely bought one.
M&S.
Oh, lovely bought one.
Zara,
vest top.
It's interesting because you made me sort of
go on to the vest tops.
What do you mean?
Oh, because I don't like my arms.
No, but I think you just need to get over it.
I'm wearing the vest top.
Just wear the vest top.
Don't worry about it.
Sweating, actually.
I'm so hot.
It's so warm in here.
I take this off.
Sorry, yeah, all points deep.
Then there was, on TikTok, we saw there was an actual dust warning out.
And that's why people wearing masks or scarves around their face.
We were a bit like, what's going on here?
Why has everyone got scarf around them?
We did 25,000 steps.
Lovely.
Which I was absolutely buzzing about.
Very good.
We managed to see all the acts we wanted to see.
I went a lone ranger to one of them.
And guys, if you ever get the opportunity to go and see DJ EZ perform live.
Elia's falling in love.
It was unreal and he is so cool.
I'm obsessed.
We saw some artists that Elia was shocked
because she didn't think that that was the artist.
Well, it was expecting.
It was funny.
And we got to see our all-time faith, Thames.
Yes.
To loose ends.
It's one of my favourite songs.
We did well.
We did well.
We did FaceTime in Eliza.
She loved every second of it.
Fantastic.
But yeah, Thames was funny time, did me.
Thames was sensational.
And Dave come on.
Fantastic.
And I led you a message earlier in the group being like,
do you reckon Dave will come on?
I was like, absolutely not.
And these people were like, no.
And then he came out.
Oh, it was, yeah, it was really good.
What about when we went to buy a bottle of wine?
Ah.
What happened?
So we'd put it to VIP.
Always us.
I had little wine and champagne cart.
So we were like buzzing.
Cue up, go there.
My friend Victoria, I'm like, what are you doing?
What's taking?
You're there.
You're at the front.
I've gone for a way, I've gone back.
They haven't got a bottle opener.
Sorry?
Oh, shut up.
How much was the Provence, Rose?
It was quite expensive.
It was like 60 quid.
And this lady...
But obviously, they're all...
All the drinks are so much more in these places, aren't they?
Of course.
I mean, the price of these drinks.
Some of it.
I couldn't get over it.
No corkscrew.
Are they going to sell the wine?
No, they were searching.
The lady in front had ordered it, paid for it,
So she just got the bottle standing and then he was like,
it's getting warm, your wine?
She went in, I've just told them to get me a knife and a fork
and I saw it out when you're wetted ourselves.
She was like, this stu-old.
I said, I think you need to tell them that you'll just take a bottle of the champagne
instead because they're taking a long time.
Anyway, then a few hours later, we thought, yeah, we'll have another wine.
No, they found.
Oh, they found out.
Oh, they found one, one corkscrew found that I wear out what.
And then we go and get another province.
We've run out.
Bearing in mind, I know it's...
But I did not see one other person drinking this.
It's not like every other person is drinking it.
Do we feel like the wine stand was maybe a first try?
No, I went before a few years ago and it was there,
although I did get champagne.
But all right, fucking bully for you.
Run out of Provence.
I mean, how many bottles could you have...
They must not have...
On the specials as well.
Shampals?
It was a shambles.
Shambles.
And then sort of, I don't know, there was a little situation in front of us
where somebody ordered a glass of prosceco.
And she was pouring, I can't speak, Lauren Perrier.
So I don't really know what was going on.
And then the girl was going, no, just all,
because then we were like, it doesn't, you couldn't get Lauren Perrier by the glass.
Right.
So then the girl behind her was that, but I'm confused.
It's not how much she went to start with the prosaico.
So she's buying the prosceco and pouring Lauren Perrier.
I don't know what was going on.
That's where the staff don't know what they're doing and they're young.
It was crazy.
Yeah.
Well, not even that.
I just think it was the first day of the festival, was it?
Yeah, yeah.
So maybe new staff that haven't done it before.
Yeah, it was just crazy.
That night, good fun.
But yeah, a lot of walking and a lot of dust.
Fucking lot of walking.
I nearly wore my little mesh shoes.
Oh, my God.
I put my trainers on.
The trainer's covered in dust.
Oh, yeah.
My glasses were like, I couldn't even see it at one point.
Because I've got no nails on at the moment, which is dreadful, but I'm waiting for holiday.
My fingernails looked like I was like a 12-year-old boy that had been playing in the park.
She looks like, I feel like Alfie.
Yeah, like just all black.
I had to go home and get a brush, scrubbing brush and scrub them.
Gosh.
It was, yeah.
Because of the drought.
Yes, I understand.
I see roundabouts, fields.
Cracking roundabout outside the front of it, though.
Go on, what was you going to say because of what?
The volume of people, like a stampede.
I understand.
Yeah?
It was like being the air, Lion King and the Fassadais.
Oh, that was a really weird.
No.
Na, see Ghania, si bagu,
I did that once.
I know the actual words.
Hanguenam and then when I'm a bala.
Is that how it is?
No.
I did it.
in my drama.
We actually got the lyrics.
I mean,
can you listen to this, please?
Hi, Natalie.
So this is just off the back of listening to your latest podcast with the nieces
about watering stuff on a roundabout.
So I've just literally driven past a man from the council
watering the flowers on the roundabout with a hoist pipe.
No.
Even though he had a hosepipe ban, and he was from the council, which just made me really laugh.
So, yeah, there wasn't any grass on it, but there was a nice flower bed, which he was happily watering.
Anyway, thanks for the laughs.
It's Helen here calling from Hampshire.
See you later.
Thanks, Helen.
But you just said it's flowers, though.
I'm not talking about flowers.
Okay, but they're still being fucking watered with a hosepipe.
But it's the, is that not okay?
What is she talking about?
Well, you have a hosepipe bag.
It doesn't matter.
Yeah, but maybe because they're like community flowers.
Maybe.
I'll open my back gate.
I'll fucking bet you will.
There's no need for that sort of language.
That's called it irrigation.
Mine can be a community garden.
I had some frenzy yesterday that was said when it.
There was a little joke about a back door.
Oh, it was excellent.
She really set herself up for it.
The problem is with this.
That is going to cost money.
If the flowers die, they will all be redone.
I understand.
I'm not as about flowers, I'm about the grass.
Well, it's all fucked.
I don't really get it.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Look at Victoria Park.
They're not watering that, are they?
But apparently that will grow back.
Of course it will.
What are you talking about?
It's in the winter.
No, I understand.
I do understand.
But my grass, that ain't happening to my grass.
It might do.
It won't.
As my mum said, it was fucked before this.
Fair enough.
Yeah, it's true.
It's always been a bit fun.
But why is that?
So why is that not growing back?
Because sometimes there will be like, we have areas that Apache Jack will have to seed it.
But overall, it's a bit like really looked after it.
It's like watching Attenborough, isn't it?
It all dries out and it all comes up.
Yeah.
It is.
It's like having a flower that flowers once a year.
And then it dies.
And it comes back.
And then it comes back.
Fantastic.
Nature is incredible.
No, I understand, but I'm telling you now, if I left my garden, that's not happening.
Can I just say I'm looking at the monitor.
Why is that happening there?
It's just good in case it goes off and that.
I need to do that for professionalism.
But may I just say, I am quite brown for me?
No?
I mean, I forgot how translucent you really are.
So, yeah.
No, you look well.
Thank you.
That's what the lady in Marxie said,
you look well, you've been away?
I said, yes, I have.
Why are you red though on your chest?
What do you mean?
Yeah, red.
Always bit red.
And on your cheeks.
Maybe just flushed.
It's very warm in here.
I'm sweating, actually.
Yeah.
No, you do look well.
I said, you look well.
Even Eliza look well.
Brown.
Mark look brown.
He goes brown, though, don't know.
Yeah, Joanie.
They've got cracking colour.
Yeah, no.
When you walked in on Sunday, I was like, oh, yeah.
That's nice.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I need to go and get them done.
No, shit.
quite a long while.
Done well.
I have.
Talking about our nails,
by the way.
A couple of people
talking about the
school holidays,
but this one I loved.
Someone just sent a message,
Nico.
He said,
end of school holidays
means a trip to Australia.
Three weeks out there
for my son's wedding.
School can fuck itself.
The words of my 14-year-old son.
There you go.
Her son's wedding in Australia.
Yeah.
So what did you mean?
So what?
I'm confused.
Well, not the 14-year-old son.
No, so what they're...
People are set going back to school.
Everyone's like, oh, we're getting prepared.
They're off the holiday.
No, I don't think that's what she's asking.
She's asking the sun's situation.
No, so they're taking the sun out of school is what we're saying for every week.
Well, I think for the son's wedding, so obviously they've got two sons.
There's a valid...
Really?
Thank you.
There's a valid reason, I think.
That's cracking.
Good luck to him.
Oh, that makes me feel a bit.
What does it?
I couldn't do it myself
I would have to say
You would if you had a week
So if you had someone in Australia
I'm too Minji Elyat
I couldn't do that for three weeks at the start of the new school term
I genuinely could now
If you had children of your age and I wish I did it more
I didn't take them out for a day
I know I do the odd day here and there
I didn't do a day
No but also there are some situation
She's not going to miss her son's wedding
No I understand that and good luck to them
I'm just saying I would
That would give me the hebi-jeebies
When I get their school report and I see 98%
That makes me sweat
I don't like that
I like 100% that's what I'm there for
Don't like it
I don't think it's that deep
Well no it's not but I'm just like that's how it makes me feel better
I think going around
Don't like it
Yeah travelling in what they're travelling
The experiences you can see
I get it
I get it but also
And as a family
It's not fair on everyone else that adheres to the rules
No but I'm just saying for six weeks
We have these times
And you're going on holiday
Or you're spending time of your kids
And then we're just all like sheep
and we go, oh, we're going back now,
the second of September and everyone goes back
and we don't see our children
because I just find the whole concept.
The whole thing let people make their own choices.
Yeah.
I don't think you should have rules or be different.
You do because some people take the piss.
That's true.
And also that's their own children.
No, I know, but also some children need to be in the system.
And there needs to be rules.
Yeah.
And then you have the other end of the spectrum where people can't get their children to school
and it's awful for them.
This time of year is horrendous for them.
No, no, look, you're never going to please everyone.
No.
But there has to be a system because, yeah, otherwise if it was a free-for-all.
No, I know.
I'm sure.
But it does, just sometimes I think, oh, if I did get a job in Ireland,
then I should be able to say.
Yeah, but you can do it.
You have to pay the penalty.
Yeah.
And just say, sorry, I'm moving.
over there and they're going to be homeschooled for a bit.
Yeah, but I think that's different.
I mean, it's different at her.
Elias's age is different now.
We're talking about taking them out to homeschool.
We're talking about taking them out on two week, three week holidays.
No, but if I had a job that was, say, three months in Ireland.
I'm sure there are things around that.
I'm sure there's loads of people that have to travel to work
and their kids will be homeschooled or go to that school and that school.
Yeah, I mean, I've got a friend who is basically living between here in another country
and she's got the school here and the school in the,
And obviously the other school she's paying for
because that's the way it works
but she's got her place for her son in England
which is mad.
That's mind-blowing.
They've kept it open.
So when he's here,
he goes to that school.
Yeah, that's really good.
Very good.
Oh, it's interesting though.
I just think all the time that we spend together,
I know that you have to learn.
Well, the same is working.
It's the same as then you've got to go get a fucking full-time job.
That's what I mean.
No, but you're earning money to live.
I know, but again, even...
It's an education.
You won't get the job.
If you don't get the job, if you don't get the education,
it all goes to handing out.
Not necessarily.
Well, no, you do, of course it is necessarily.
You're talking about learning to write earlier.
Yeah, it's all the same thing.
No, but not necessarily, the education doesn't mean...
It does.
It makes you all, it makes you well-rounded.
You like to, we all like to know things about things,
as many things as possible.
It's quite nice.
Yeah, but you can learn that by not...
It's only because we know school.
We know you get to an age.
You go to school.
There are some people that would home school.
homeschool or do other and you're learning in a different way.
It's just a different way of learning.
That's all.
I know.
Yeah.
No, I get that.
Lovely Harry, who listens to the pod, sent us a message.
He said, so you, Els and Roro was in my dream last night.
Oh, cracking.
I remember being at your house and also at a meeting sort of thing.
I can't remember the synopsis, but you was all in it.
How weird are dreams?
I can remember waking up and remembering it all.
And now it's gone.
Maybe something to discuss how strange.
dreams can be.
Oh, hurry.
Don't get me started.
You're a dreamer, aren't you?
I'm a massive dreamer.
Yeah, and I'm the same.
I wake up and I can remember it like I'm living it again
and then it just goes, you should write them down.
But some of them I feel better.
I don't know, I'd rather just forget that.
I have some weird dreams.
Maybe we should do that though.
Maybe we could do a little seg.
Definitely a segment on dreams.
Yeah, write some down.
Well, no, when you wake up, write it down on your iPhone.
Your notes
I'll write it down on my note pad
Then we can discuss it
I think dreams is a really good one
Really good one
I dream every night
Without fail
What that you remember
Do you?
Mm-hmm
Oh I don't
No, don't
I can't tell you the last dream I had
That I remembered
Yeah, every night
And mine usually there's only two
I'll save it
Won't do it now
Let's have a listen to this a minute
Oh my gosh, Nat, how funny
I'm coming.
She's doing bath time.
I was just talking to my friend,
because basically I'm going to be singing
and doing my first gig down at Locke and Late
in Spellbrook, like Bishop Storfford.
And anyway, it turns out she's related to the,
basically, long story,
my friend's related to one of the girls
who owns the Locke and Lato.
Anyway, and then she goes,
oh, and on that note, she goes,
I'm going to South Mill in October.
My friend's on a podcast.
I was like, oh my God.
I was like, hang on.
a minute. I went, so am I. So it turns out, long story short, what's small world? She is
friends with Rovo. What's small world? And I was like, oh my god, this is so funny. Yeah,
small world basically. It was just funny that two of the, I think I might be psychic.
It made me laugh. I thought, I thought, you might know her as well. Michelle Cruz, her name is.
Oh, no, she's got a different name actually to the girls.
The other girl is Ella Cruz. Brilliant. And Gary, her partner is Gary Cruz.
So Michelle Cruz.
Who is that then?
It is Michelle Cruz.
They are married and she's my best friend.
A school mum, I believe.
Oh, right.
So they come into the Stortford show.
I needed someone to go.
That is one of our lovely listeners, Jess, who always messages in.
And she is family with Steve.
Cordray.
Oh, stop it.
This is the, I think, the daughter-in-law.
Yes, small world, small world.
Small world.
Very, very short.
I'm a show of friends
from the school.
Yeah, from the school.
I'm guessing Ella,
which is...
Brilliant.
His Alfie's age.
Yeah, gosh, that is not cool.
I'm part in bath time.
It's aging it.
Oh.
I don't...
I'm not on the shower now.
No, I'm not on the shower.
No, not too young.
No, sometimes I like it because I'm like,
that kills half hour.
Let's get up and do it.
But sometimes I'm like, oh, it can be the pits.
Well, also because I'm at that,
I'm not saying I would ever leave,
but you get to an age where you can,
sort of nipping and out the room,
I'm at the stage where I need to be in there.
Oh, yes.
Like a hawk.
Yes.
So I'm confined to that space and he's sweating and I'm getting splashed.
Yeah.
And I'm, I shower now.
Shower them down.
Well, they don't like a bath.
That makes me sad.
Well, they will have a bath, but we just have time.
Especially now, I think, because we're having a bit late at night,
you just want to get and wash and ready for bed.
I mean, they're having a wash and that's the main thing.
That's sort of better than what I do.
Hi now, it's Joe in Hitchin.
Well, usually in Hitchin today.
Little glass of rosé on the balcony in Koss, if you don't mind.
Stunning.
But I wanted to say, so I'm on holiday, having a lovely time.
And but every time I get in the pool, all I can think about is Roro,
we're in in the pool, and I literally looking around the pool, all the people are in,
thinking, you just don't know we in this pool.
And I was going to say.
And this often happens to me.
Stuff I hear on the pod and we go about in normal life and think,
oh, God, like when I'm cooking and I think I just cannot eat from the tomato.
Chew, I can't do it.
Yeah, so anyway, I just thought I'd let you know that that's what I've been thinking about on my lovely holiday.
Yeah, you kind of ruined swimming pools for me, Roe Roe.
Not going to lie to you.
Obviously, you know people do it, but I mean, you think, do they really do it?
You think kids or whatever, but anyway, I'm going to stop.
Much love to all of you.
You can't wait to catch up on some pods because with a nice.
nine-year-old on holiday. I've obviously not been able to listen to anything.
So sending you all lots of love from Sunny Cos. Bye.
Oh, lovely.
We're running people's holidays.
Sorry, babes. And if they say they don't do it, they're fucking...
My friend today said that her daughter was in a swimming lesson and she said,
Mommy, I need to get out and have a way. And I thought, wow, that is...
I think kids, that is their natural...
I'd be like, just walk on.
We're on with it. Get out, get all wet, soggy swimming,
costume down. I was impressed.
I remember saying that to Ruby before and then she stood up and started
a wheel and I said, no, you sit down.
You just move around. In fact, you do it whilst
moving, swim and we.
Oh my God.
We've got unbelievable stuff.
We're away in Montenegro at the moment on our family's summer holiday.
For extra bonus material and especially our holiday special,
go to Patreon. Have a little listen.
up. It's not a lot. A couple of cups of coffee a month. And there's a lovely special of us being on
holiday. Cheers all. Oh, girls, I am just listening to today's pod. And I feel you on this
fucking plain stuff. So just flew back on Monday from Portugal, a little girl's trip. And I had
some hand luggage that was too big. So they charged me 70 euros. But I had the fucking dusty to have a three-hour.
delay on the plane so you think so it's okay for a three hour delay and then you want to charge me
fucking 70 euro for me big bag oh my god i was raging not only was it late at night after a
girl's trip so i was pretty fucking battered anyway they don't want to charge me that oh honestly
absolutely human so yeah they all do take the fucking piss why sorry that was very very bad
language, but as you can tell, still raging and that just brought it all back. So,
happy Thursday. Sorry, girls, me again. Just got to the end of the pod.
Maria, a question for you as you were just in Santorini. What did you think of the people
queuing to have photos in certain areas? Now, don't get me wrong, I got photos of those areas,
but I skipped the queue because I didn't want to be in the actual picture. I just want to
wanted to take a picture of the scenery. I literally seen a couple of people in these cues as people
are queuing and these people are having full on photo shoots and taking about 20 minutes to take
one picture. What is that about? One is rude. Everybody else is waiting and two, who do you
think you are? But yeah, I am with Elia who said, just go and enjoy.
yourself what is about all of these pictures? Don't get me wrong. I'd love a holiday
picture but enjoy yourself because that's what it's about. When are you ever going to
look back on all these pictures and all these videos that you spend hours on doing? Honestly,
blows my mind. That is actually crazy. Cueing. I didn't see it. Oh really? So there was a
couple of... Maybe where you were, you sort of got those views at all points. So maybe that's what I mean.
I'd love to know where that was.
There was a couple of spots we did bypass
and there were crowds of people
and they might all be at the front of the thing
to get the photo.
But again, I just lent over and took a photo.
I didn't want to do that.
But what I had seen on social media
and I was a little bit nervous about that,
the hordes of people, didn't really see it.
Well, that's good.
So yeah, I don't know if I bypassed it
or just didn't go to those spots.
I have to tell you.
It blew my mind on holiday.
What?
In the amount of places.
So we went to Budva Old Town, beautiful, very, very picturesque.
There were people getting out tripods, couples, tripods, timoring it, doing that.
People love photos.
But what are you doing?
Like you said, how often are you looking at?
People love photos.
No, I'm sorry.
No, but there's loving photos.
You just, yeah, you take a little quick photo.
You might never be there again.
What do you mean?
Tricod.
Right.
People love it now.
Take a photo on the scenery.
We know you were there.
They took the photo.
But then there was a little boy who obviously did not care,
doing a full-on photo shoot with his mum.
And I have to say the mum obviously liked to take care of herself,
if you want to say that.
Obviously, he's quite a lot of work done.
Yeah, just.
All to get the best photo to post on Instagram.
That's all it is.
It's not remembering.
But they were having a meal.
No, they were doing it for Instagram, definitely.
But again, you just take a photo.
It's natural.
You take a couple and then you get on with it.
You're not standing there 20 minutes having a photo shoot.
Oh, no, I don't get it.
Wild.
All of the pictures.
And then Mark went up some steps.
I was like, I'm not going up there.
It's too hot.
Him and Joni went up.
And he came down.
He said, I'm sweating.
He said, there is a woman laying.
There's a tripod on her own, and she's laying on a ledge
where there's a 100 foot drop.
Perfect.
To get a risk in your life,
to get a shot of her by the mountains or whatever.
He said, I can't believe what I've just seen.
Yeah, it's mad.
It's everywhere you go.
It's the same as us going to set festival on Friday.
We got one, sorry, was that my phone voice?
Did you get that?
We took like one selfie, maybe, like, we barely took any photos.
No.
And there are people there just posing all day long.
It's wherever you go.
Festival, it's, you know, you're trying to walk somewhere
and people are having photo shoots.
It's, we talk about it all the time, isn't it?
But it is like been...
I just think, enjoy it.
It's like us on Friday.
We barely had a photo.
I looked at my phone.
One video is me holding it down here
where I've gone to do a video and forgotten
because I'm having such a good time.
But I know I had a good time.
That's right.
I took a few videos for my friend who loves Tim,
so I did that.
So I've got those.
But I'm never going to look back at them.
I did the other.
I did the others.
Excellent.
But only because I put it on Instagram,
but I'm not going to look back at them.
I remember taking fucking videos of fireworks,
oceans and mail going,
what are you doing?
Have I ever looked at the fireworks ever again?
Yeah, the fireworks displays,
people taking pictures blows my mind.
It's for Instagram.
It isn't too key.
I've never taken a photo.
I've never taken a photo.
But even like,
but then sometimes if I'm looking at stuff on social media,
like of the festival and I'm re-watching some videos.
I'm like, oh, it's amazing.
Those people didn't take that.
I wouldn't get to see it.
I know, but you wouldn't.
That's because you've just been in like a month's time.
You won't be interested.
I'm sorry.
The only thing I like looking at photos of is my son.
I thought he was going to say myself.
But I like, you know, the photos we've got of like him five days old.
But even that now, so like I did a post for our feet.
But again, he's not even on social media.
I'm doing it for myself.
I put a post up, celebrating my seven years of my son.
I like that.
But again, I'm like, there's so many photos.
I'm not going back in the archives to get photos when he's younger.
And you feel that pressure.
No.
That's why you're 40 if I thought, I said to you, Maria,
you've got, I got, you did.
No, I think it went on that.
This is rude.
Oh my God.
It's fucking blowing up balloons for your birthday.
Fucking Fredding fruit.
Well, I do one for you.
Photos.
Oh yeah, sorry.
Maria, we were quite busy.
We were busy.
And again, it's the pressure then.
That's what I mean.
Yeah, no, there's no time.
And bearing in mind, I did a whole photo banner thing.
Yes.
So I'd already scoured through all the photos.
Don't worry, I'll do you a belated one of all of them photos.
I'll do a little thing.
Real.
It's too much.
Yeah, I didn't post.
For Joni's birthday, I don't post.
I can't be doing all that.
The pressure we're thinking.
Oh, it's so on his birthday, I've got to find a photo now.
I've never done that, so I don't do it anymore.
Like Alfie's birthday, I would normally, but it's just, it's too much.
He didn't do that for your godson, that all?
But who for? He can't see it.
No, it's not for him.
He's not interested.
No, no, it's crazy.
Hello, oh my God, I'm catching up by the pole on my holes in Croatia
and getting so many funny looks laughing madly to you lot.
Don't get me started on having to tag your own luggage and not getting a snack on BA,
and then watching other passengers arrive with 85 bags,
when yours has had to be checked in.
Madness.
I haven't messaged for a while
as been having a tough time with my daughter,
but on the days when there's not been many smiles,
you have all kept me going
and given me a proper giggle.
Thank you.
I'm with you on roundabouts.
They are buggered.
It's been raining at home
while we've been here
and I keep thinking about my grass
and now I'm worrying about roundabouts too.
Or look like Q Gardens when I get home.
Maybe not.
Love you all.
Loving Patreon and so glad
Maria's had a great time celebrating 40.
Although I think she needs to go long
I was 50 last year, started in March and went on to October.
She's a lightweight.
M in at Yule.
Oh, thank you, M.
Don't worry, M.
I'm still going here.
There's still a couple little things in the bag.
And the brunch, we are definitely celebrating even though these two don't want to.
Can I just say the brunch, we've only got a really, really limited amount of tickets.
Like a handful.
A handful.
Six.
About six
So if you want to come
Six
Sounds like James
Four six
Six
Well unless we put out a little post
Then by today
It may be even less
So get yourselves on there
Come on now
Thank you everyone
Who's bought a ticket
Oh it's going to be such fun
It's going to come around so quick
Are we going to get drunk
Are we going to get drunk?
What do you mean you won't be
No
I should get a bit tipsy
Yeah
I mean
What happens in Hartford House?
What is it?
What is it?
Does a bear shit in the woods?
I don't know, does it?
Yeah, it does.
Well, it's going to shit.
Do you remember that joke?
Yeah, it's like about the Pope.
No.
What about the Pope?
And I never got it.
Oh, about the monk.
No.
It doesn't match box.
No, but a tin can.
What?
Yeah, it doesn't match box.
No, but a tin can.
Don't get it.
There's a match box.
No, but a tin can.
Why can the tin do it?
Yeah, and the match doesn't.
It's just a joke.
No, but it's not funny.
It was in my joke book and I never got it.
But the match box and it's a tin can.
Oh, so it's just plain on words.
It's got nothing to do with.
Jeez.
That's a great joke.
The Monkla.
Oh, in Tuscany, the kids love my jokes, didn't they?
Go on, give us some.
What's brown and sticky?
A stick.
Is that because you've heard it, guys?
You wouldn't have known that?
No, I had some really good ones.
What's a woman with bacon, eggs and beans on her head called?
Caff.
One of my favourite.
Yeah, what's a man called with a spade on his head?
Doug.
What's a man called with a spade on his head?
Douglas.
Okay, I think that means the poddies over.
guys. I feel we've done it right.
All right. Well, I feel like we have not been together for ages.
Anything? Oh my God.
What's wrong?
Guess what I'm watching.
Go on.
What I'm watching?
Rivals.
No.
I don't know. It's all crazy. It's like, what are you watching?
Here's all watching.
Here we go.
I'm obsessed.
Yes.
What is it?
What is it?
Oh, no.
It's great, isn't it?
It's a comedy with Pamela.
I didn't know she was in it.
She plays a little.
She's the mum.
Yeah.
Isn't she a Scalso?
In real life?
Yeah.
I think so, yeah.
No.
No, she's not.
Ponce.
Tom Bazdom.
Afterlife.
Again.
This fucking bloke.
Oh my God, I love it so much.
He's great, is it?
I love it so much.
I'm so pleased.
What is it funny?
Oh, it's a comedy.
It's funny, but it's just lighthearted.
But how about the dad?
I can't.
Sorry, you're saying Alison Stedman's from.
Oh, she is.
Yeah, okay.
She's 79.
Yeah, unbelievable.
I'm real.
It is so fun.
It's like really...
But I love the mum.
You know, she got a BAFTA for that?
Did she?
She won't best comedy performance, which I'm so...
How many seasons, episode?
Like five or something.
No, but they're short...
And I just watch the one where she meets the Italian man
and they go to the restaurant.
It's brilliant.
It's not ruining it.
It's not.
It's just great.
It's just really easy.
Really, some of the jokes are just so ridiculous,
but it's the sort of shit we'd come out here.
But how about when he can...
And how about the girlfriend?
Whereabouts are you?
I'm at the...
She's just about to...
Oh, fine.
So she's had the affair.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Are you fucking shitting me?
But it's funny, though.
And that's not fair on the listeners.
Well, they should have watched it.
It's old.
Very, very old.
Oh, is it?
Yeah.
Well, that's fine.
Series.
But it's not many people knowing it's just really good.
Have you watched Olivia Atwood, Price to Perfection?
Yeah, I had to turn it off the other day with the whole stretching of the leg.
Oh!
How mad was that?
What was it?
My surgeon was on it, everyone.
Really?
Yeah.
Who?
Did the eyebrow lift, Dr. Rias.
Man was making himself like 10 inches longer.
So they break...
Private parts in his legs.
They break the legs.
Yep.
And then they go streaks and...
No.
It's disgusting.
I want to be taller.
Yes.
But then what we were saying is,
but then you're going to have really long legs.
But yeah, but some people do have long legs and short the torso.
Yeah.
Just that was a killer
But you should watch it
There was one guy that went from like four foot
What was it, four foot something to like
Five foot ten
Yeah
I mean but that is life changing
In many aspects
Maybe you should get that done
I'm all right thanks
I'm happy being short
Five foot one and a bit
And they do the whole like turkey thing
So
Yeah
And again maybe I'm naive
But I didn't realise
Which I'd be up for this people
That people get free stuff
Sorry
They will do all these cosmetic surgery things for free
Just so you promote it
Yeah
What is she doing?
They do
Yeah
But why are you saying it
Like you're shocked
I don't know
I just didn't think
That was a thing
Are you joking?
No I know
Really though
Do you have any messages I've had
Have you?
It's turkey
Stop it
Maria please
Are you
Do you live under a rock
No turkey
I guess in Turkey.
I know it's mad.
I'll do it.
Things here.
They do it with like teeth.
Oh,
all of them do it.
Loads.
So good.
It's not a good.
I'm joking.
But no,
it's good watch.
And the other thing,
guys,
I'm obsessed.
But I must say,
I wouldn't,
the turkey thing,
paying cash.
No,
no, thank you.
Please watch
Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives.
Oh,
I think I'll enjoy that.
In fact,
we are reckon we can get
truly press on.
Please can we
She's really, no, but she is excellent.
Is she?
Her mum, Tina.
No, I'm obsessed.
Where do I watch that?
Pearly girl, the sister.
I love them.
It's on Channel 4.
It is a great watch.
They are excellent.
Really?
Lovely.
Oh, they're just brilliant.
I love them.
Okay, I need to watch that.
What's your name?
Truly precious?
Truly precious.
I watch.
I've just, I've caught up on love at first sight.
Yeah, never, not for me.
And I've got these tenders to watch from last night and tonight.
It's so sad.
Why?
Don't tell me actually.
Don't ruin it.
She's not going to die, is she, Denise?
I don't think so, but she's doing an amazing job.
She's incredible actress.
Her and, oh my God, what's his name in real life?
Wow.
Jack, who plays Jack?
Scott.
Sorry, Scott, brilliant, really good stuff.
But the whole, I've just, you know, the whole grey thing's happening.
They tried to steal the baby.
Yeah, that was a bit boring towards the end.
But this, and I do love the whole Max and Priya.
Priya. She's obviously pre-gars, isn't she? She's been chundering.
Oh.
Yeah.
Sorry, guys. If you haven't caught up, we've just ruined it for you.
Eliza started from July today.
She should have got to catch up for Christmas.
Oh, my God.
But no, Denise is playing a blinder.
Yeah, she is.
Yeah.
It's really sad, really, yeah, beautifully done. Very, very sad.
Are you watching anything?
If you've actually sat and watched any telly since you've been home?
No.
Last night I put the telly on the Skybox wasn't working.
Oh, that's noisy.
45 minutes on bubble word jam and then Mark did the telly and I fell asleep.
And I've got a book to read.
You have.
What?
Tom Allen's common decency.
It's a lovely fiction.
Oh, am I not in the book club?
I would love you to be in the book.
Wow.
I mean...
When was the last time you read the book?
No, you said I have to be in.
I have to do it.
I would like you to.
I won't be reading it.
I haven't got time.
However, you are going on holiday.
So you could do the next one.
With a toddler.
That's true.
A little human.
She ain't reading.
I'd love to say.
I'd get the opportunity.
to read a book.
Have a lovely holiday.
Thank you.
Have a lovely time.
Yeah, excellent.
So good.
I'm not going to see anyone.
That's rude.
I get it though.
I do get it.
It's so good.
It's lovely.
I just want to sit there.
Obviously with my child.
And your partner?
And my partner.
But no, well, I'm hoping.
Well, no, he was just as bad as James to be further when we bust
my balls.
Oh, I've got your arrow word at home, by the way.
Oh yeah, I'll take that, seeing as you can't buy them anywhere.
So we were saying,
goodbye approximately eight minutes ago.
See you Sunday.
See you Sunday for our roasty.
See you maybe tomorrow.
Possibly.
See you when you're back.
See you never.
See you when you're older.
Thanks all.
See you later.
Bye.
