Yeah, no, I was just saying D.C. is crazy, but the shows were good.
But so now I'm in Miami, on a Sunday, and it's probably going to be really hot there.
It's so hot everywhere.
It wasn't that hot here at first when that first heat wave hit in the Midwest, the Northeast.
And I was like, we're the one place that's usually the hottest.
Yeah, true.
And I thought we were maybe going to get lucky, but that's not happening.
But it has to do the muggyness with the muggyness and the, and the, and the,
And the humidity is the worst.
It's been muggy here, which is rare, though.
Really?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, wow.
It's not usually muggy in the summer.
No, no, no, I know it's not muggy.
I just didn't know it was muggy here.
Oh, yeah, no, it is.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure, for sure.
Well, you know, is what it is.
Weather sucks.
Weather sucks.
Getting hot, hot everywhere.
Whoops, sucks.
Oh, dude, happy birthday on my bud, Jason Statham.
And my bud, Kate Beckinsale.
Is that, have you met her ever?
Yeah.
Yeah. I don't know her. She's not my buddy. Yeah, no, no, I know. I met her too. And then Mick Jagger never met. So that's it. I met Mick Jagger once. Really? Really long time ago in New York. Like such a long time ago. He had like literally like 22, like 30 year old women around him and he looked like, you know, an old lesbian. What year was it? This is a while ago, but he already looked like an old lesbian. So wasn't that long ago.
Well, that's wild.
What is, I don't know, remember that at all.
Actually, Mick Jagger, kind of always looked like a lesbian.
So I should remove the word all that.
Or he just looked like a lesbian because he does.
But yeah.
Jason Statham.
He's your boy, right?
Well, I mean, I met him once, twice, but we had a meeting.
And it was like an hour long.
And it was nice we were discussing a project.
And then, you know, I just, I saw him working out later.
like years ago, or years later at the Equinox.
And I was like, oh, he's not going to, you know,
you just think, oh, they're not going to remember me.
But I don't know, I don't know why I thought that.
I would remember somebody that I had a meeting with that was like a comedian that.
Yeah, I think anybody kind of would.
He's not like Tom, oh, Tom Cruise remembers everybody, bad example.
But like, you know, like Brad Pitt.
Yeah, true.
So anyway, I went to, I left Equinox and then he came out and he was like, Chris.
And I was like, oh, what's up, dude?
He's like, how you been?
I was like, oh, good.
You know, and we were talking.
And I was like, oh, I should have just said hi.
You know?
But you did, what, did you walk right by him?
Well, I saw him working out.
I don't want to bother someone.
You mean you should have seen him noticed him said hi first.
Well, I did see him and notice him.
And you skipped saying, I see, I see, I see.
Because I didn't want him to, I don't know.
I don't know, people, you're working out.
I was trying to be respectful.
Whatever, dude.
I was just being insecure.
I'm insecure.
I, dude, I'm just insecure, man.
I mean, it's possible I would have done the same thing, you know, somebody's working out.
It's like, it's like bothering some while they're eating, you know, I mean?
It's like you don't want to interrupt.
Eating is the worst.
In general?
Yeah.
I hate eating.
Oh, no.
What?
I hate eating.
Like, it's a waste of time or something?
No, it's not like, oh, I'm so busy.
I got it.
But I just don't like that I have to sit down and like put this stuff in my body to make me feel.
less terrible and make my body have fuel to continue throughout the course of the day.
What about if it's really good though you like it?
Of course.
But you'd rather not be doing it?
There are certain kinds of meals that of course I will like to have but in general like
in the middle of the day.
If I have to eat lunch, and it's just like where is there a lunch spot?
I'm like this get it out of here dude.
Fill me up.
I'm kind of the same way but I've learned to figure out how to figure out how to
to eat the foods that I want to eat.
But yes, I do, like, I have like, for instance, my nanny is like, she loves it.
You have your own personal nanny?
Yeah, she takes care of me, puts me to bed and wakes me up.
Wipes her butt.
It would chain my, my diver.
But yeah, no, she loves to eat.
She loves, I mean, she's really thin, but she loves to like, she loves to think about what
she's going to eat later.
A lot of people like that.
No, no, I know.
I know a lot of people live for food.
I know.
Yeah.
I not like that.
A zero percent.
Kristen is the complete opposite of that.
She goes, no, she's like, oh, oh, I haven't eaten today yet.
That's how I am, yeah.
That's crazy.
That's wild to be on that end of it.
I'll go out.
I'll go a long time and be like, oh, my God, I haven't eaten a single thing today.
Wow.
No.
I've already, have eaten today?
No, I mean, a very little bit.
It's only because I was like, uh, yeah.
It's noon.
I made rice, three eggs.
yogurt with blueberries and I ate that and I have this for when it when when the ship pops off
but then I also have this for lunch I'm in a cooking show what I'm going to do is have this
I'm going to eat this and when I'm done with these episodes and then I'm going to do golden hour
and then I'm going to eat this and go work out but that's all to make my workout feel strong
that has nothing to do with who can't wait to eat that can't wait to eat that yeah if I eat at those
times I'll do better. It's a regimented thing. Yeah. And I love doing that because I'm a crazy
person. Nah, it's good. People have plans that they go by. It's good. Give structure to people's days.
You know what? People need structure. But I have lunch with a friend, my friend Richie in,
when I go to Miami. I already am like, am I going to want to do that? I want to see him. But like,
you know what I mean? Not yet. Yeah. It's just like I don't want to have to have lunch.
With the guy. No, I love.
Richie, but I don't, I don't, what if I want to go somewhere else or what if I want to do,
what if I'm, what if I'm, was it going to make you go to Taco Bell? No, I guess, no, no, no,
no, I guess you're right. I can pick the place. Yeah, I just don't like having lunch plans.
You don't like to, yeah, you mentioned the other day you, like, hung out with a friend. Yeah.
And you were like, why did I do that? Was, did I do it already? You had to already done it,
yeah. I don't remember. All we did was sit around and talk. Yes, I remember it now. Great guy.
That's the point of hanging out with friends, though.
Right?
Yeah, I know.
And you don't like that.
Sometimes I'm just like so in my head.
I'm like, what am I even doing, dude?
I like the guy.
I don't have people in my life that I don't like being around really, honestly, anymore.
Yeah.
I just, that stuck out in my mind as like, what does he mean?
Like, that's what friends do.
That's what being with friends is.
And you love being with friends.
So what did you mean?
I know.
I don't know, dude.
He was just like, why don't you come over and we'll have a, we got smoothies.
and I was at his house
and I was just like
it was really nice to talk to him
but I'm like
what is this?
Sounds like a great time.
I know dude
something's wrong with me man
sounds like an actual
absolute great time
You're with your friend
at his house
beautiful house
He makes or had smoothies for you
You had the smoothie
You had a good conversation
He's a guy you like
I really like him
And afterwards I was driving home
I was like what was that?
Yeah
It was friends hanging out
I know
I know
We got to do it man
I know
Not like it's a duty, but it's part of it just.
But anyway, that guy texted me yesterday and he was like, I had a bad time with you.
No, he has like never come over my house ever again, don't step foot in Malibu.
But no, he, he texted me the real of ours about how we were talking about spending money before you get it.
And he texted me, dude, I always say this.
Nobody, I totally agree with you.
And my brothers always say like, no way.
So he was basically me in the situation
and his brothers were you.
Which one?
Which one?
Oh, about, remember the, well, it was on the show
when we were talking about spending the money
before you get it.
Oh, that again.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I was like, bro, they don't get it.
He was like, I know.
I think I get it.
I just disagree.
Well, you disagree.
But it could be because, well,
I don't want to get into that.

Thank you very much.
I,
I,
I,
I texted you guys about this.
We'll do a submission,
but I,
I slept for
I slept two good
Again last night,
I had horrible night's sleep in D.C.
And then killed it last,
two nights ago and then last night
and I feel like a superhero.
Awful.
Well,
because I just feel like I got so much great sleep
and I feel amazing.
Yeah.
It honestly sucks.
We have to sleep for eight hours.
And I don't like when people are like,
I only get five and I'm fine.
No.
I used to be like that.
Yeah, but I'm not.
I mean, I sleep more now.
Right.
Well, no.
getting five is fine
but I'm saying if that's all you can get
but don't walk around like I'm at my optimal levels
you're not oh yeah no you need more sleep than that
yeah yeah like Brent Morin is like got three and a half hours
of sleep last night and he was like that's all I need
and he's just like there's no way yeah that's not that yeah
three and a half is like James Cameron level
yeah like superhuman and Brent is not that
yeah um but yeah so I just love
I love when I get good sleep
I started taking later flights
just so I could sleep in.
It's just beautiful.
What is it?
Eight hours for you?
That's, yeah.
I mean, if I get over seven, I'm good, but yeah.
Yeah.
Good.
Like today I had to get up at 7 a.m.
to do an interview.
And I went to sleep at 10.30.
It just caught me.
And I was like, thank God, because I need to get up early.
And I'm like, fuck.
I'm just like walking on sunshine, dude.
Last night was one of the rarest of the rare for me.
I slept.
I fell asleep really early in what,
up at a normal time like seven and it was like too much sleep oh yeah yeah so I'm dealing with
that like but what about when you so it's too much sleep and I understand that and you wake up and
you're a little groggy and overslept and all that but then after that in the in like three hours
after you wake up for me it's longer but yeah you're really good in the afternoon yes really good
because you slept even more yeah but it takes me longer than three hours yeah okay yeah okay so we can
beyond that though.
Yeah, three or four hours, maybe.
For me, it's longer, and I'll just leave it at that.
I'll leave it at that.
15, 10, 5.
100 hours.
All right.
Let's do it.
Let's do a submission.
Let's get into it.
Yo, Chris and Matt.
What's going on, guys?
How you guys doing?
Good.
Quick one for you.
I was having lunch.
I had McDonald's and the rest,
a restaurant, by the fuck you want to call it,
was completely dead.
I was the only one there.
And while I was eating my lunch,
someone else came, got his food, and decided to sit right next to me.
What the fuck would you do in this situation?
And yes, I did pan across in the video to see him.
And as he saw me, videoing him, I did kind of do your turn.
So don't judge me.
That's okay.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, that's crazy.
Look at how open it is.
I love that we got evidence here.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
To sit right there?
It sure is.
It sure is.
I got to say,
I mean, it looked like there was even an open table
next to the one that that guy was at.
Yeah, it did, yeah.
Would you say it's a gay thing or no?
No.
I wouldn't assume that.
No?
Oh, yeah.
Are we dating?
I would have been like,
when I was done, I'd be like,
it was so nice having lunch with you, man.
Dude, that's insane.
It's McDonald's.
So it's not even comfortable anyway.
You just eat it.
Talk about fuel.
That's all it is so you can sustain yourself for the next few hours.
And then like go, well, that, oh, man, that would, I don't know if it would bother me, but it would.
It would bother me.
I don't know if it would bother me, but it would make me think, why did he do that?
Well, to me, that's being bothered.
Well, no, because it wouldn't make me upset.
Yeah, I get what you're saying.
Yeah.
But I would, I would want to be.
like, hey, so badly, there's so many seats here. Why did you sit next to me?
Do you think you would have said something? I don't think so, but I mean, there is a world where
I would have, yeah. But, but, you know, I don't know. Maybe it's a cultural thing. I don't know
what that guy was, but that's obviously he. Well, that guy's in New Zealand. It's one step below
when you're at a public bathroom and there's a whole like eight urinals. Yeah. And somebody chooses
the one next to you. That's really weird.
that's happened to me before.
And that was like a genuine shock to me.
Yeah.
Unless there's dividers,
then it doesn't really matter.
But yes, there wasn't.
Yeah, no, no, that's crazy.
That's absolutely insane.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That is so weird.
Because you don't you,
just to not even think,
because that guy probably was like,
I just picked a seat.
To not even have the,
the spatial awareness is insane.
Yeah, well, I don't even know if, well, let's just run through what that guy might have
been thinking.
Uh-huh.
I don't think he was thinking.
He might have just been doing the like, like the biological thing was like, oh, there's
where the people go.
Right.
You know.

My name is Peter Parker, but I'm also Spider-Man.
This Thursday, we're faced with a threat.
That can be anyone.
world may have forgotten Peter Parker.
I'm just a neighbor, friendly neighbor.
But he hasn't forgotten them.
Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing.
That's my responsibility.
Dr. Banner?
I didn't know you could get that big.
Spider-Man, brand-new day in theaters Thursday.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's hard to imagine a version of him thinking,
oh, I'm going to sit next to one person who's in here.
I did a show in D.C. last weekend, and there was a woman that
came up to me afterwards and she was talking to me.
You know, I had stepped out of the green room to go to the bathroom or something.
And she, she stopped.
She came up to me and started talking to me very close.
And I, and I, and, you know, she was a bit tipsy.
And I said, and I kept backing up because she was very, very close.
Like, don't ever be so close that the person can feel your breath, I think.
Do you know what I mean?
It's like, are we fighting?
Like, what's going on?
Yeah.
So.
my drill sergeant yeah yeah so i'm backing up i do it twice she she just no cue just comes closer and
so i i go to back up one more time and i hold my arm out and she walks into it like she's trying
to get past it i guess and i'm and but not in an aggressive way just in a like absent-minded thing
okay so i i keep my arm here i say hey you're so you're so
close. I'm just going to be here. You be here and I can totally hear you. Wow. Why what?
That you said that. I often say that if that happens. How often does that happen?
Every few months. You've always had a thing about like breath. Yeah, always. Yeah, yeah. I mean,
they're not saying that wouldn't bother me too. No, that's that fucking drives me now. Dude,
I sat down once. I was at NYU. I had a sandwich. Opened it up, went to go eat it. I took one bite.
this girl sat down and goes
breathed all over my sandwich
I go like this and threw my fucking sandwich
right in front of her away
but why would that make you throw your sandwich
would you do that now?
Probably not no okay
but but I wanted her to understand
it I don't even think she knew
but it was just rude
yeah
fucking watch where your breath is all going
do you not agree
do you guys think that's rude
I want to know how tall the woman was
and maybe she was
close to you because she thought she had to like talk up.
No, she was she was 5, 7, 5.8.
How close was she to the sandwich when she?
You're talking about the girl.
The girl at DC.
Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah.
I was here eating.
She sat down right here.
Breathed all over my sandwich, direct hit.
I would kill for a girl to breathe on my sandwich.
Not this one.
But she also, she was also, I knew she had like a kind of a crush on me and it was like
annoying and so maybe that could have played into it.
That was very sexy
And you threw it away to make a...
You wanted her to notice?
I probably threw it away...
Yeah.
Yeah, out of anger.
And then I was like, I hope she notices this.
And she's not gonna...
She didn't understand why, though.
Yeah.
I took one bite and then just took it up,
tossed it away.
Yeah.
That, you know, I don't think I'd do that again.
But that was a young thing to do.
But when I was a much a little younger...
Did you think, like, I'm gonna get sick from this?
No.
It's just disgusting.
But what's disgusting about it?
if not illness.
It's a, it's, it's, you're, you're insides that you just had inside shot all over outside
of my food that's going to go inside me.
I'm with you.
I just don't, it's just to follow the, mental, I can't get past that mentally.
Got it.
It's like a personal.
Yeah.
Thing.
Yeah.
I would, everybody took, I'd be like, uh, she breathed all over this one.
And I wouldn't enjoy the sandwich.
So I might as well fucking just throw it away.
I love that sandwich, too.
I used to get it all the time.
Damn.
But she really fucked.
Did you get a new sandwich?
No, because I was at, in.
class. Oh, the guy went hungry. I couldn't wait to eat it. Anyway, but yeah, the, the DC woman was
so, and I, man, that was, yeah, I do that a lot. I go, hey, I, I, I, I try to do respect it. I'm like,
dude, you're so close. I totally hear you. Just be there and I'll be here. I don't understand
when people, I mean, we're talking here. Dude, that's crazy. Are you going to kiss me? Yeah,
that's crazy. Yeah. I know you don't like that.
this but when people do this but I literally just two nights ago saw the episode of Seinfeld
with Judge Reinhold where he's the close talker oh I don't know that yeah and it's it's really
really a funny episode but it's specifically about that he like makes people bend backwards and
shit but yeah it's it's people are close talkers and it's a real problem I hate it what yeah that's
really weird I wonder what the psychology of it is they must like it it must be like an intimate
thing like they want to be because the only thing i can relate it to is like i'm only close to
i mean even in my life is either women that i've been romantic with or or my kids that's it ever
and i like that with with both of them well yeah so maybe it's a thing where they feel connected
to you a stranger i don't know maybe they maybe i don't know like hard wiring they feel like
But man, that's crazy.
I mean, even if someone's attractive, I'm like, what do you back up?
Well, yeah, it has nothing to do with that, right?
Yeah, I'm not saying if they're, obviously, if they're ugly, it's worse because you, you know, they look ugly and they're close to you.
And you just go, ugh, you look at their pores and shit.
Okay.
But yeah.
Anyway.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, we can do a new one.
Yeah, that's very weird that he sat next to you and unacceptable.
Yeah.
Hey, Chris and Matt.
This is Ethan here.
What's up?
If this makes it out by this Sunday, it's, uh, it's, uh,
Kevin Spacey, Mick Jagger's birthday.
So this Friday, I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled.
And they're taking all four out.
And the doctor was saying, you can't lift anything strenuous.
You know, can't strain my body or anything like that.
I got to recover properly.
I heard about that.
And with that being said, I have three boys, a two-year-old, a four-year-old, and an eight-year-old.
Yeah, wow.
And even when I'm sick, we still kind of play rough and tumble and whatnot, you know.
Sure.
Like, I'm their little jungle gym.
and my question was basically how do I say no to them word of advice because we're just always playing rough
and this is the first time I've had a little procedure done I guess since I've had kids so I was just curious what advice did you guys have
have you guys ever been in a situation like this where you can't play with your you know with your boys yeah
and you you got to basically tell them no I've given them a couple prep talks already
like saying, hey, dad's doing this.
He's not going to be able to play, you know, trying to put in the perspective.
It's coming up.
So I already feel like when the time comes, though, there's still going to want to jump all over me and whatnot.
So what advice do you guys have?
Helmet.
Well, anyways, thanks, guys.
No, I, I, I, that's so funny because Sam, my camera guy who I take is going to, is going to, was going to get his wisdom teeth out yesterday and then shoot all the things in Miami.
And I'm like, bro, I don't think you know what it's going to be like, you know.
And then the doctor canceled on him.
And he's like, so it won't be weird in Miami.
I'm like, oh, okay.
That would have been rough in Miami.
Yeah, I know.
But so anyway.
But this dude, yeah, you're a little bit older, so it's going to hurt.
It hurts a little more when you're older.
I don't think it is that big of a deal.
It's not, I got mine out not old, but older.
And I still have two.
It wasn't that big of a deal.
They warned me.
I was, I still smoked at the time.
and one of the things was don't smoke.
I did.
It didn't matter.
Don't lift things.
I did.
It didn't matter.
Smoking is something I would say.
To me,
I would just say warn them just not to put their hands on your face.
But that's it.
Like if you're on the ground rolling around with them, like that.
Yeah.
They're just being extra.
But they'll hit your face.
Careful.
Yeah.
I had that septoplasty, you know, the sinus surgery.
You had that too, right?
Yeah, long time ago.
Calvin just booted my head in my nose a few times, and I was like, oh, this is, this is for nothing.
Right, but nothing happened.
No, nothing happened, yeah.
So, I mean, it hurt, but.
That's what I'm saying.
I mean, like, the reason I think they say that is because of the pain, not because something's going to go wrong.
I'm not like.
Like, all you're doing is getting teeth extracted.
Yeah.
They're worried about pain and hurting it further and exacerbating whatever they've done, the trauma.
Those are for out.
liars and worst-case scenario.
Yeah, dude, you're like a big strong guy.
I would say, honestly, don't worry about it.
But try to continue.
You already did.
But obviously, that won't matter because they're kids and they want to climb their dad,
whatever.
Just be like everything for the next couple of days, below the neck, all good.
Just please avoid this area.
They won't.
No, they won't, yeah.
But it'll be minimal compared to if you don't say that.
I don't think.
I think it's not a big deal.
I think it's not a big deal.
Even like, you know, pain stuff like you hurt your shoulder or your thing.
A lot of times doctors are like lay off it.
I don't even know if that's necessarily true.
Like I are good because I hurt my shoulder and the doctor was like lay off it.
And then I was like, I'm not going to.
I'm going to work through it.
And it got better.
I mean, that's anecdotal.
I do think though that there's a point to what you're making,
which is that like use it or lose it part of it is like um what is it litigious like they're worried
yeah yeah yeah for sure um not warning you in case you do something and then they can say well we warned
you so i think most of it's that yeah but like if you you know your body better than that doctor is
so and it's just wisdom teeth i also yeah true true true i also think the older you get the better it is
to just kind of like try and get right back on a horse because you're not going to heal like you did when you were
younger anyway, so you might as well keep using it, your body will figure it out,
unless you fucking, you know, were decapitated or some shit.
Yeah.
Just walking around with it, no head.
Yeah.
Your face is on a grass saying, I got this.
I'm just trying to use it or lose it.
Just whole spinal columns out.
Anyway, um, yeah.
I've been watching, bro.
What do you call it?
I don't know.
The evolution of Mortal Kombat characters on my Instagram.
The what?
Does that mean?
Like AI stuff?
No, like each time Scorpion was in Mortal Kombat,
what he looked like.
Oh, the evolution of the ways they looked.
You know how many Mortal Kombat video games there are?
No.
Oh, man.
Every year they had one.
I didn't know that.
Almost, I mean, not every year, but since 92.
They go, it's like, how many are there?
There's so many Mortal Kombat games, bro.
There's so many.
I didn't know that.
There's the one that's like Mortal Kombat versus DC characters.
Over 25 officially released.
That's crazy.
One, Mortal Kombat, Motor Kombat, 2, 3, 4.
And then just names.
Deadly Alliance, Deception, Armageddon.
Mortal Kombat, then they redid it, which was just MK9, I guess.
And then they re-red it in 2023 called Mortal Kombat.
about one again right but then there's all these sub ones spin-offs yep i mean who gives the
shit at all but yeah more common you're interested in this yeah i don't know why interesting i don't
i don't know man i i some dude just made it all up and i'm just like yeah dude hell yeah okay all right
all right excellent what's up guys i've submitted about four times now so i just want to say thank
you for all the advice that you're giving me what i'm looking for today
is your opinion on this phenomenon that I am kind of experiencing right now.
It's really weird, but I just want to know what you think about it.
Both of you being content creators, people who put content out into the world,
whether it's advice or comedy or whatever it is, my YouTube channel is fitness-based,
and people are very kind in the comments.
People are very kind in my community.
People in person are way more quicker to judge.
Like somebody you went to school with, or,
like an old friend, they kind of look at you and they think like, what's this guy doing?
He's trying to be a content creator.
He's trying to be an influencer.
You know, like there's just a lot more doubt with people that you personally know.
And I think it's just because of their bias against you possibly.
But anyways, people online are like, yo, nice content, great video.
I relate to this.
So what is that?
Why do people online resonate and they're kinder than people that you know in person?
They're way more supportive.
Also, how bitch is it when you blow a bubble with your bubble gum and it gets all in your
mustache hair and you have to sit through like this and pick it out.
Oh, God, just gross.
Good, don't blow bubbles.
Okay, love you guys.
Bye.
I just think it's, uh, your friends know you a certain way already.
And it's weird for them to see you in doing another thing that's different.
That outside, that's outside of what they know you as.
And then also online, so far, by the way, people are way worse online.
But so far they'll, you know, you're starting.
So the content, the people, the like-minded people are finding you.
So they're like, oh, good.
So you're getting a lot of that.
To them, you're just a fitness guy.
Yeah.
Right.
So your friends, you're you, who they've probably seen do a bunch of dumb shit.
You fell down and farted and shit.
And had a different, going to be a fitness.
And had a different job before or something.
And, like, it's.
Yeah, Johnny from fucking, you know, Verizon is going to do fitness.
Right.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's why.
Yeah.
That's 100% why.
Yeah.
If you're asking how to deal with it, though.
Shut them all down.
Just like who gives it for them what they think.
If it's being successful online, then that's all that matters.
They'll get used to it.
Use that as fuel to win.
They will get used to it.
And then to them, you will suddenly be a fitness content creator and that will be your job.
They'll be laughing when you're driving by in a Bugatti, won't they?
And they won't be in it because they're not your friends anymore.
No, and it also only has one other seat.
Oh.
Yeah.
So.
Maybe there'll be one friend in there then.
Or maybe a new person online.
A new friend.
Yeah, I don't think, I think that's just welcome to the, welcome to the world, you know.
Yeah, welcome.
Welcome to the world, man.
Nice to meet you.
Yeah.
Yeah, so whatever.
I guess next one.
I mean, gave up.
Yeah, I think that's it.
We both have reached so quickly.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, okay.
So next one.
Hey, Matt, hey, Chris.
When do you think it's okay to start making jokes about major tragedies?
I always thought it's okay to make a joke about anything at any time.
and I never got offended by dark humor.
But during a recent incident here in Lebanon,
and I won't get too much details, but I can imagine.
Literally not even 24 hours later when people were still under the rubble,
some dead, some alive probably.
I remember while scrolling,
seeing a guy trying to make a joke out of it.
And it was the first time in my life that I thought,
okay, that's too far.
Which made me wonder, like, when do you think
it's too soon to start making jokes about such things?
And isn't it kind of always too soon for the people directly affected by these incidents,
like 24 hours or 24 years?
Right.
God forbid your loved one died, it's going to always hurt.
Like, when do you draw the line about the timing?
When Westcham first took flight in 1996, the vibes were a bit different.
People thought denim on denim was peak fashion.
Inline skates were everywhere.
And two out of three women rocked, the Rachel.
While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't taken.
is that fuzzy feeling you get when WestJet welcomes you on board.
Here's to WestJetting since 96.
Travel back in time with us and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years.
Yeah, I mean, that's actually a really good question.
Did he, let me just get this straight.
Did he say his friend made a joke about someone crawling out of the rubble?
Well, he was saying that they were still making jokes within 24 hours and people were
still buried in the rubble.
That's what he said.
So he didn't say he made a joke about that specific.
specifically, but yeah, okay.
Well, that's way too soon.
It's too soon, but here's what I think.
I think that there's a general, there's a over, there's an issue, it becomes an issue,
that's what I meant to say, when something happens and you go, what's the joke I can make
of it right away?
You know, if a joke organically happens, if you're talking to your friends about something
and you have some sort of an understanding and, you know, you're, you're, you're, you're
taking into the account and you just say something and maybe you cross the line,
maybe you don't, but you say in a different way, you couch it in a certain way.
But people online are like, oh, dude, the president just got shot?
Let's go.
Hey, what if it?
And it's like, bro, you're, you're, this is like first draft joke writing.
You're, you're not even processing what happened.
And who are you?
You're not fucking John Stewart.
And even John Stewart wouldn't do it, you know?
They specifically go out of the way.
not to do it. I know, right, yeah. So it's like
they're just trying to, it's just for cloud.
It's like when it becomes using
people's tragedy
for trying to get ahead with
anything, followers or anything.
Clicks, likes, tweets. Then
that person's a piece of shit, dude. They might not
even realize they're doing it, which, you know,
is fine, but like, you, that
sucks. I hate that shit.
Like, I, you know, in person, though,
too, though, he's asking.
Right? Oh, I don't know. He
mentioned the person he saw it online.
Yeah, you know, it's like, you know, Tom, Tom and Christine are getting divorced.
My first thought was like, oh, dude, this is going to be so annoying in the comedy community.
Everyone's going to start joking about this immediately.
They don't even know what the fuck's happened.
It's like, leave them the fuck alone.
You got to go, oh, these open micers.
I didn't see it because I don't go on those, you know, X or whatever.
But like, I was like, oh, man, how annoying are open micers going to be now?
Like, making fun of them.
Like, you know, and it's just like, dude, what are you doing it for?
Are you all on e-enertainment news?
Is that what you are?
Are you a fucking guy?
Are you a gay man who is on e-news or Joan Rivers?
And then you're just like, here's what happened.
Are you, those people, you know, God bless Joan Rivers, she was the best at it, but like those people are so annoying, dude.
Yeah, well, are you, are, do you have a show on Bravo?
But also, Joan Rivers wouldn't make a joke.
No, no, no, I know.
Joan Rivers.
What I'm saying is, is like, this.
There are, there's, like, people who intrinsically understand when's too soon and when isn't.
And, like, you know, there weren't people making fucking, the people who made jokes about 9-11 the fucking day it happened are just pieces of shit.
It's just about, like, you know, people are taking the-
Charlie Kirk thing.
It's like, this is, like, what the fuck are we doing here?
People just say, like, the, like.
Or Lebanon fucking thing.
Like, this is terrible.
People take the wrong thing from, like, you know.
Yeah, that's what I say?
always say about Quentin Tarantino about how he made awesome movies and then ruined a large part of the industry because everyone's trying to copy him and just did the wrong things.
It's like,
Joan Rivers was awesome.
And now everybody's trying to like get,
do that kind of style of shit.
And it's like they're missing the point.
It's like somebody watching Richard Pryor and a black comic watching Richard Pryor and be like,
oh man,
I got to say the N word more.
It's like, dude,
that's not why he was so great.
He pushed boundaries and pushed lines,
but like not because of that.
You know?
Yeah.
So, um,
yeah,
that,
I don't, that shit is annoying.
And all those Twitter fucking.
Social media is consciousness.
It's, it really is.
It's just like, I mean, you can't count on social media to be like abiding by the too soon law.
The unwritten too soon rules.
Like, they'll jump on that shit the second it happens.
And they do every single time.
So according to me, what's too soon?
I mean, the thing has to be officially over.
Yeah, right.
That is the ultimate
like number one rule.
Like all of the
if it's a Lebanon explosion.
Yeah.
The whole thing has to be cleared.
Everything has to be out.
Like it has to be over.
That and then maybe it's still too soon.
But at the bare minimum,
the thing has to be over.
I'm,
I'm,
yeah,
if I'm hungry,
don't make a joke until I've eaten.
That's like that old age old saying.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah,
I don't think that's an age old saying.
And until maybe even the next day when I wake up.
I don't think that's an age of saying, no.
But it should be.
But like that's, you know, yeah, I do think that that's so, so egregious and annoying.
And people are, and people are so not even funny.
It just is like, who are you to fucking even do this?
And like, I wouldn't even do it.
I'm a professional comedian, you know?
It's like there are people out there that'll be, like.
But that's kind of who wouldn't do it.
I know, I know.
I know.
You know?
Yeah.
It's, uh, didn't Ari get in trouble from Megadine?
some Kobe.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, that was, that was, that was, that, that would fall into the too soon.
It would.
And, and, rubric, I think.
And look, Ari is like, that's his kind of stick.
He plays the heel.
Yeah.
Like, so it's, you know, say what you want about that.
And I think probably he would realize that he, I think, you know, I think he has, actually.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I think that he thinks it was probably not, you know, it was ill time.
but, you know, he was like,
I'm playing a character and whatever,
and, you know, I just, yeah, I don't know.
It's just, I don't know,
is everybody a fucking, what do you call it,
late night comedian?
Well, everybody thinks they are
if you go on social media.
Everybody, I mean,
successful of this shit,
I don't even go on there.
I don't know if there's like a hard and fast rule
of what's too soon, but it,
the thing has to be over.
Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it.
Yeah.
And like the morning has to have,
been like if we're talking
Kobe like the morning has to have been past
also what's the fuck there's not joke to make a buck
anyway I'm carried away but like
yeah dude
too soon I don't
how about when and but they won't fucking cancel
what's her name for who's the one that said
Kobe
died this week
and she was like let's not forget he was a rapist
isn't that kind of what Ari said
no no no well what Ari was
trying to do was be funny
Right.
This woman from,
it was the woman from,
well, maybe there's the difference.
Westworld.
Maybe there's the difference.
If you're trying to be funny,
people jump on you harder in the too soon category.
Yeah.
Than if you're trying to make a statement.
I don't know.
Well, what happened when,
what's his name died recently?
The senator?
Oh, Lindsay Graham.
Yeah.
I mean, I saw a thing,
I don't know why,
but on my algorithm,
Tucker came up and he was,
he like, vehemently hated Lindsay Graham.
Yeah.
And he was like,
I've known the man since 1999.
I liked him my whole life.
I vehemently disagreed with him,
especially increasingly.
It's Taiwan on,
but the Iranian war and all this shit,
his bloodthirst for war.
But he just died.
I'm not gonna like,
talk shit about him right now.
Right.
Like,
this is not the time to do that.
Right, right, right.
And I mean,
that seems so straightforward to me and obvious.
But there are people online
the second he died saying,
thank God Lindsay Graham's
finally fucking dead. Well, even worse than that, there were people who were like rest in peace
and then other people were like, wow, fuck you. You're saying rest in peace to a person who is
like a piece of shit. It's like, what are you fucking insane, dude? I personally think you can
say all that shit. Just wait. Yeah, yeah. So just wait. Do you say anything about anybody?
Just wait. Oh, yeah. Oh, Stalin was a piece of shit, you know? That was a long time ago.
Whatever the fuck. I don't know. You could have said that the day Stalin died, but yeah.
Well, I don't know even what he did, you know.
He killed a lot of people.
Tens of millions of people.
Okay.
Well, I'm just making a point, you know, it's like, I don't know.
What did Stalin do?
What did Stalin do?
What did Stalin do?
Where do you want me to start?
He was like a Hitler guy, right?
I mean, body count?
Like, like, probably more than Hitler, yeah.
If not definitely.
10, 15?
15, 10.
I mean, probably make arguments up to 40 million.
Yeah.
And then Mau even more.
now even now
I mean 20th century was
for the fucking just
oh boy
that's so weird
yeah anyway
getting carried away
hello
hi guys
this is my
follow up submission
I just listened
to last week's podcast
episode
and I just wanted to let you guys
know that
we do not
fund the post office
through taxes
our taxes
the post office
is funded through
selling stamps and selling our shipping services.
So I didn't know that until I started working here.
So I thought that was pretty cool.
I didn't know that either.
And thought you guys might like that.
Also, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the laughs.
I love listening to this podcast on my route every single day.
And it just always makes me happy and keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you.
Keep doing what you're doing.
Being a male person must be wild.
She's a female.
What?
You said being a male person must be wild.
I said she's a female.
It was a bad joke.
Keep going.
Oh.
You were making the joke?
What's the joke?
I don't even get it.
You said being a male person, which you were referring to her.
Oh, male person.
I didn't get male as in male.
Okay.
Yeah, I think being a male person, M-A-I-L, it would be wild.
I bet you run into the fucking wildest people, man.
And they all think that you owe them something, you know, which I, yeah.
But anyway, yeah.
Yeah, you see everyone.
Yeah, I mean, everyone, I mean, can you fucking imagine?
You gotta walk to their door sometimes.
Jesus.
Most of the time, right?
What the fuck are you doing?
No, no, no, sometimes.
Yeah, I guess.
Probably most of the time, yeah.
Mailboxes are somewhere else sometimes, but yeah.
My mail people are always so nice.
I'm always shocked.
How could you be so nice when you run in, maybe that's why.
You know why?
Because when you're nice to them, maybe they're like,
holy shit, a nice person.
Oh, yeah.
You know what I mean?
Why do they have such short shorts?
If you're delivering mail, you have this,
you're basically wearing a speedo.
Is that whether you're UPS.
I've never even noticed that.
Really?
Yeah.
Dude, they never, it never goes down further than halfway on their thigh.
It's like crazy.
And I couldn't be a male person, honestly,
because my dick would be out.
It would be my, the tip of my dick from the bottom would be out.
Because it's just too big.
My balls would be out.
My balls are big.
Okay.
Mail carriers, uh, oh, no, go back.
Mail carriers wear short shorts for maximum comfort and mobility while walking routes.
I don't even know how that makes sense.
These retro eight to nine in seam uniform shorts that are specifically designed to regulate body temperature,
dissipate heat and prevent overheating during long active shifts.
I don't know.
That sounds like a good reason to me.
Yeah, it sounds like a bunch of bullshit, honestly.
No, it doesn't.
I mean, if the shorts were three inches longer, it'd be fine.
No, but if the shorts were three inches longer, it'd be fine.
But, and I'd be able to cover the tip of my dick.
But you're not a male person.
No.
I like short shorts.
I have short shorts on now, but I tell you what.
I had short shorts on.
The short shorts I'm wearing out.
I was cold.
Hike up and they hurt because of the blood.
is on this chair.
You ever notice that?
No.
Okay.
Actually.
All right, fine.
I think the button on mine's missed.
Yeah, it is.
It's missing.
Oh, that's good.
Yeah.
Got lucky.
I have to switch chairs with you.
Got lucky.
All right.
Okay, let's do the next one.
Naked.
What's going on, Chris and Matt?
I've got a quick question.
This is Travis in Palm Beach.
I just left a kids party.
Kids in the back here.
Nice.
And I'm naked.
You know, shirts off.
We're at a pool.
And I'm walking back to the car.
And this dad walks by and he goes,
oh, you got to put a shirt on.
you're making the rest of us dads look bad and i just go ah yeah and i need a better comeback than that so
christ you're jacked what do you say if it ever comes up and then matt you're smart so let me know
thanks for the show called you called you not jacked actually you're looking good dude thanks man
yeah i saw the time talking about right now oh thanks i uh uh i've been thinking about bro
i love having my shirt off man fuck i love it i love being in the sun feel
the sun all over my body. And I walked down the street the other day with my shirt off
because it was beautiful out. I just took my shirt off and I'm walking down the street.
You know, it's summer. It's, you know, hot, hot. And the next day or two, one of the days,
I saw a lady I know. And she was like, I saw you walking down whatever boulevard it was. And I said,
Oh, yeah?
And she was like, yeah, you know,
I think it was because I noticed
because you had your shirt off
and I was like, oh, I'm like, yeah.
Is that weird?
It's not weird to walk down the street
with your shirt off during the summer, is it?
I mean.
Well, definitely not at a pool,
but, and obviously the guy was joking,
but like, no, I don't think so.
I mean, a woman walking on the street
in the sports bra is the same thing.
That's not weird.
Yeah, and that happens even not in the summer.
But, uh, I don't know.
Did she, was she like, it's weird?
No, no, no.
She was like, she's a very sweet person
and she was like,
it was like a caught you with your shirt off walking down the street.
Oh,
you know?
Maybe she was flirting halfway.
Well,
no,
no,
because of who she is.
Oh,
but yeah,
I mean,
I see what you're saying.
But,
yeah,
uh,
she probably thought she was like making like a joke.
Yeah.
I mean,
like this,
I guess.
Yes,
exactly.
Exactly.
Yeah.
So,
but I don't think you need a comeback.
Like,
he's like,
what's the retort?
It's just like,
Like, uh, oh yeah.
Yeah, dude.
Move on.
Like, there's no like, what did you say, bro?
Any, pull him close and go, any chance I get.
Any chance I get, I'm going to show off my body.
I'm a physical trainer, a personal trainer, and this is my life.
And then walk away.
He's a personal trainer.
Say, give me yours.
Give me yours.
That guy has got a nice physique, though, with the chest.
Yeah.
I mean, he came on the, he made a submission with his shirt off.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
but he's a personal trainer and the other i don't know i think that yeah you don't need to say anything
you already did with your body all you do all you do is say uh right uh yeah acknowledge uh i always do
that when somebody makes a joke that i'm not willing to participate in yeah and it's about me
like something that is not offensive i mean he's not making it he's not like insulting you right
he's actually doing the opposite he's making a joke about how you're
so in shape that you're making all of us look bad all you do is ah you should you could be like
oh dude you think my body's nice you good thing my cock's not out with the kids around
daddy what's a cock oh no you you should see my fucking balls and cock dude they're crazy nice
anyway um i'll have my wife call you call your wife and we'll figure out the time to get together
good to see you yeah that works um better than mine yeah mine was ah yours is that yeah you can do yours
yeah yeah guy said i look big at the gym the other day yesterday uh what i was at the gym yesterday
and the guy says man you're looking really big i go am i jacked dude is this guy telling me i'm jacked
he said it dude are you're having your own little that's basically like all like you all day long
but we're on a show i know it doesn't matter who
who's around. I respect you and I love you guys, but yeah. I just, I don't, uh, you had,
you literally had your own aside to yourself. Mm-hmm. And it was, and it went full circle and
closed the circle and it ended. Yeah. And no one else participated. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Next one.
No, I mean, I'm not even trying to be cute. Hey, what's up, Lifeline? Matt, I love you. We share the same
name Chris I love you I saw you last year in Vegas at wise guys from a first comedy show and I loved
it hell yeah I just got back from the lake paddle boarding and I walked up to the spray station where
you get all the sand off you and standing there was this group of people who had just just barely
used it before I walked up so I walk up I hit the button you know water comes out I'm not sure how
much of it got on this lady but it sprayed a woman a little bit and she turned and looked at me like
I just killed her firstborn and so I kind of looked at
look back and said, I said, sorry.
My question is, how often
do you apologize for shit that's not really your fault
or shit that you don't really need to apologize for?
I'm not saying I didn't need to apologize,
but also if you stand near a sink, you might get wet.
Thanks, guys.
But also, did you, so Japanese, did he, did she,
did she just use it?
I'm, I'm clear.
Because I mean, like,
I would say sorry just because, just, fuck it.
Yeah, I, I, I, I,
I'm constantly.
Oh shit, sorry.
Hey, at least it's not Jizz, huh?
Because it goes, oh, wow.
Because it goes by my rule of ending the thing I don't want to be engaged in as quickly as possible.
Unless there's some like a real issue at hand where I'm upset.
Right.
But if it means nothing to me and it's like that or whatever, so many things like that happened throughout the day, I'm just like, oh, sorry.
And that's the end of it.
Because that means nothing to me.
I have no pride.
I'm not like, I shouldn't have fucking apologized.
I know people like this.
Really?
That are like, oh, man, I should have done with it.
Dude, I don't.
I don't remember the last time I drove away or walked away from someplace.
Thought, man, I wish I did.
Oh, man, I wish I said that.
Oh, man.
I don't.
I don't have.
But the apologizing thing is weird because I've never thought, well, I guess I have thought I shouldn't have apologized.
But it doesn't like eat me a lot.
It doesn't eat me.
I mean, I've thought I should have apologized.
Well, yeah, there's that.
But then I do, I guess, if I know the person, obviously.
But like, but I've never thought, oh, man, I should not have said sorry for that.
I don't think I've ever.
I don't know if I have either.
Once, maybe, but like it doesn't stand out.
Yeah.
It's just so easy.
It's just like, it's so meaningless.
Yeah.
It definitely irks me when people don't apologize if they should.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
happening? Yeah, well, that's what I assume. Right, which is, which is again, get it over with
as quick as possible because who cares? You don't want that lady to think, you did it on purpose.
Right. I mean, she probably won't, but who knows people are crazy? So, but you also don't care
if she thinks that. To me, get, again, get into the end of it. Oh, sorry. Done. Right. Who cares? It's
all over. I guess you should not care. Yeah. Because that person's a crazy person. I mean,
unless, either you did something and didn't realize it and the apologies warranted or you didn't
do shit and the apology is not warranted but it's just oh sorry and then you're done right and
anything in between is still oh sorry and then it's done and then you move on with your life yeah
and then years and years and years later hopefully you die uh right I'm just going in order
yeah I guess so sure I mean hopefully you've built a nice life yeah no years and years I know you're
saying yeah people are
peacefully there for you.
Yeah.
You know.
Yeah.
You have a lot of love.
No pain.
No loved ones. Yeah.
Surrounded by loved ones.
Right.
Okay.
Well, yeah.
So anyway, do you want to do another one?
What's up, fellas?
It's your boy, Scott.
The selfish prick, son of a bitch, piece of shit who was scared of flying asking for advice about how to not be scared of flying.
What's up, Scott?
Your guys' video really did help me.
Oh, good.
Took the tension out of my mind.
Yeah.
made me laugh and my experience wasn't as scary as i thought it was going to be yeah of course
so thank you for that i'm not calling for advices this time i'm calling about two pet peeves of mine
and what you guys think of it okay one is people who honk in traffic i live in the dc area and
where were you traffic here is terrible oh god it's awful are terrible on the road they honk at you
all the time. Literally, you know, I'm from Minnesota. Nobody haunts like that there. Nobody
haunts at people. Like, why honk at people in traffic? I feel like... Couldn't agree more.
Horns and vehicles shouldn't be a thing. Don't honk. It does. It fixes nothing. It just raises
the stress level of everybody. Stop honking at people. Unless they're not paying attention.
And the next thing. People who fake gag at things that they think are disgusting. Oh, no, that I...
Like, example. Yeah. I don't like mushrooms. Somebody says,
something like, oh, they like mushrooms.
And then I go, uh, yeah.
Yeah. That's what chicks do to think are funny.
So it's a turnoff in every way.
Don't fake gag.
No, it's a disgusting thing.
And don't honk at people in traffic.
I agree with the second one.
One of my two biggest pet peeves.
Also, people who leave doors open.
No.
I think.
Which I did.
I think the first one, what do you guys think?
I think the first one.
What do you mean?
You honk if somebody's not paying attention.
The red light turns green.
The honk is limited to alerting someone to something that they're doing that might be dangerous
or if they're not paying attention.
If you're honking just because you want somebody like out of frustration, which people do in
cities that are congested with traffic, that's what you're referring to.
I see what you're saying.
I agree with him 100%.
But you need that because if somebody's not paying attention, God forbid somebody falls asleep.
There's a number of reasons that there are.
emergencies where that annoying honk sound works and has probably saved, I mean, thousands and
thousands of lives. So I agree with you in principle. Don't do it in traffic. In New York City
was the, it's always so annoying. So what do you mean? Like, like, they're like, why do they honk then?
Because somebody's in big city. Oh, because I mean, you're, you're, you're, you're on a,
road or a freeway and somebody swerving into another lane. You honk. And then they read to redirect. So they, so they, so
they're driving like an no no no no no that's why you should honk yes why do they honk in
new york oh because they're pissed that it's not going fast enough so they think somebody up ahead
it's just fucking not oh yeah yeah that's crazy yeah yeah i hate that i hate that uh that's annoying
as fuck yeah so uh what was the second one oh the gagging we agree no that the gagging one is don't
don't do something gross ever that's gross yeah and you're you're manufacturing a fake version of it
I mean, like, I, if I'm going to gag for real, I try to not do it.
So why would I try to, why would I do it in voluntary, why would I try to do it voluntarily when I'm trying?
It's the same thing.
You know what I'm saying, right?
Yeah.
It's the same thing as saying, that's what she said.
It's just like, shut, dude.
Oh, cool.
You know that thing that people do?
And it's, and it's so dumb.
Although this is a gross.
It's in that category.
Yeah.
You don't need to do that.
don't do that. And I don't like that either. I don't know what you do. Yeah, I don't know what you do.
You just don't do anything. No, no, no. I'm saying if someone does that, if they go,
you go, no, throops for real. Oh, you don't do anything. Because again, get to the end quick enough.
Get it out. It's over. It's over. Yeah. It's brief. It's over. But yeah, just clock it and think,
I'm not hanging out of this person ever again. Wow. They're out of my life forever and I'm deleting
their contact from my phone. So fucking harsh. And all the pictures I've ever had. So harsh.
I'm taking heartbroken at the guy for doing it.
But the door thing,
I don't even know what you mean.
Yeah.
I love you, Scott.
He's just saying being silly about the door thing.
Oh, okay.
I love you, Scott.
All right, well, thanks for watching.
Appreciate you guys.
I'll be in different cities.
Go to chrysley.com.
See you soon, Portugal.
And Tulsa, have a good time.
Love you guys.
Bye.
