You could have won your league in 2025 trading for guys like Caleb Williams,
Jonathan Taylor, or even Super Bowl champ JSN.
Today we've brought two of our favorite dynasty trade targets each,
and then we'll finish off with our shared league winner for 2026.
Welcome into the lineup fantasy football show.
I'm Mitch Anderson.
I'm Justin Mello.
And we are not going to waste anybody's time.
Let's jump right into things,
and Mello, you give us your first dynasty trade target.
I think I'm going top shelf here, Mitch.
I'm going for a guy you're still going to have to pay up for a little bit.
Top shelf kind of trade target.
I'm going to start by talking about Justin Jefferson.
And yes, I know, you do still have to pay a lot for Justin Jefferson.
But when you compare it with what you would have had to pay last year, it is significantly less.
And I know this is a little bit anecdotal, but we have a friend in the Dynasty League we were coincidentally just talking to about his league.
a year ago he offered George Pickens, T. Higgins, and a first round pick for Justin Jefferson
in his dynasty league. And it got declined. And that would have felt like highway robbery for
the side getting Pickens T in the first, in hindsight now. But that's kind of my point. It wasn't
that crazy that it was declined just a year ago. And now you can get Justin Jefferson for so
much less than that, even though it is still a lot. And I,
I am standing on business here.
I am firmly putting my foot in the ground.
That Justin Jefferson...
Flag plant, baby.
Oh, yeah, I'm planting this flag hard.
That Justin Jefferson is still a superstar.
He is still the same superstar he was a couple years ago.
And he is going to be back to his elite, elite production in 2026 with Kyler Murray at the helm.
We already talked about this in our Dynasty top 25 episode that Kyler can't support elite weapons.
We saw it in 2020 with DeAndre Hopkins when he was the wide receiver five in 2020.
when Trey McBride was the tight end too.
I'm just fully convinced any wide receiver in the league.
Literally any single wide receiver in the league would have struggled mightily
just like Justin Jefferson did last year in that same position.
And if you need further evidence that these superstar receivers are not quarterback
proof and struggle with horrible quarterback play,
look at his LSU counterpart Jamar Chase just last year in a much smaller sample size
when Jake Browning took over.
It was disgustingly disappointing.
remember people were literally talking about benching Jamar Chase potentially. It was a legitimate
conversation, do I bench Jamar Chase the first couple weeks with Jake Browning? Then obviously it got
better, especially when Joe Flacco took over and Jamar had those like billion catches against
the Steelers in prime time. But that's just another small example of the fact that none of these
elite receivers are truly quarterback proof. But Justin Jefferson no longer has JJ McCarthy. He'll be
riding the bench next year. It'll be Kyler. And all of a sudden, I think Justin,
and Jefferson is back to that top-tier upper echelon of receivers,
but he's so much cheaper than those guys like Jamar Chase and Pookinakouet and Jackson
Spith and Jigba.
So now is the time to buy.
Still just 26 going into his age 27 season.
I still think he's worth a lot.
It's funny.
I think you can almost do like the flip side of the question in our dynasty sells a
couple weeks ago and you were talking about George Pickens and you asked me,
do you think George Pickens got more talented or like, you know, leveled up that much more
this year in Dallas and we kind of determined like, no, it was a situation thing.
I think it's very similar for Justin Jefferson on the flip side of like, do you really
think Justin Jefferson got worse as a wide receiver? No, he's playing with J.J. McCarthy and
the situation was awful. Both of us have been pretty high on Kyler Murray. I wish I had his jersey
hanging up there still so I could really talk him up. But I think this is a great pick. I think
this is a little bit of a like a soft entrance into this episode of like, I think it should be
obvious to people that Justin Jefferson's a value. But I do think that you can find guys in
league that are like really put off by last year and are like, I don't know. I don't know if I want to
trust Kyler Murray because not only did Justin Jefferson have an awful year, Kyler Murray had an
awful year. Yep. And I think both guys are an example of a bad situation, just bringing out the
worst in a player. 100%. And it's interesting because you're right. Like I think most people know,
or at least say they think it should turn around and they are a little bit more confident in Justin
Jefferson going forward. But when you look at where he's being ranked, basically,
anywhere and any dynasty rankings you look at.
He's still much lower than Jemar Chase and Puka Nukuha and Jackson Spithinjigba,
and he's still much lower than he was this time last year.
So clearly, there's still some apprehension with people right now.
So I think that means it's a good time to buy.
I couldn't agree more.
I want to move on to a guy that you will have to pay significantly less for,
but actually finished way higher than Justin Jefferson last year.
and that is my man, fellow 5-8 short king, Wondale Robinson.
He was last year, I think this is just like the most outrageous thing I've ever heard.
I didn't realize he was the wide receiver 11 in PPR.
He's 25 years old, just signed a new contract with the Tennessee Titans,
and is now priced as the wide receiver 34 in Dynasty.
25 years old finished last year as the wide receiver 11.
I don't get it, and I honestly do not understand why.
we keep underrating him and it might be the fact that he's shorter than Kyler Murray.
But you and I were huge fans of him going to last season.
We hit big and best ball.
Admittedly, that was largely in part because Malik Neighbors went down, vacancy of targets.
And of course, Wondale was able to step up and take advantage.
The good news is there's a vacancy of targets because there's no other good receivers in Tennessee.
Like, Cam Ward is going to have to be targeting Wondale Robinson, specifically in PPR.
I just think this is like such a smash play.
I've been so vocal and I will continue to be so vocal
about how in I am on year two of Jackson Dart.
But the side of things that nobody's talking about,
Cam Ward scored more points through the air
than Jackson Dart did last year for fantasy receivers.
Year one of the Cam Ward experience wasn't great,
but there's still so much time to improve for a 23-year-old quarterback
that was the number one pick last year.
And I do think this is the classic, like we get frustrated
with a guy as a head coach,
but he's actually a great coordinator.
We've talked up Mike McDaniel.
We're going to talk about him later, a little teaser.
How about Brian Dayball coming to the Tennessee Titans?
I think Brian Dayball was in over his head maybe a little bit in New York as a head coach,
but I think he's undeniable how great of an offensive play caller he was with Buffalo
before he ended up going to New York.
So I think he is going to do a fantastic job turning this offense around.
And I think even if Wondale is half of what he did last year,
he's 25 years old and being priced as the wide receiver,
34 in Dynasty. This feels like an absolute smash pickup to me. I love it. We're both Wondale
guys and I haven't thought about him too much yet this offseason since he signed with Tennessee,
but everything you said is so right. He's easily their best receiver. And not only is he easily
their best receiver, he's a high volume guy. So that's really important when your best receiver
is a high volume guy who's just going to suck up all the targets. I think he is going to get,
even if the Titans aren't very good,
I think their offense most likely has to be a little bit better next year.
And I think he will be the biggest beneficiary.
Follow the money.
They paid him for a reason.
I think he's absolutely a value right now.
He's,
so I wrote an article last week.
We wrote an article with FP track about the four boring players
that could help win your league.
And I was actually going to include him on there,
but I felt like he fit this mold better
because he is a little bit of a boring guy.
And I think that's because you're not getting these massive explosive.
of plays. He's not a huge touchdown guy,
but he's just got such a safe floor
because of that volume.
I think people disrespect him because
he's a short king, too. I think you hit the nail on the head
with that one. It's shorter than
Kyler Murray, but the production's been there.
But you say shorter than Kyler Murray,
it's like, damn, we guys are doing the
hazbola videos for Wondale
Robinson hitting a slant route up the middle.
But you know what?
The production's been there. Two years in a row now,
too. His 20-25 was even
better than his 24, but he had a great
2024 season as well. We had this, me and you, before we were podcasting or anything, had this
exact conversation last year about how undervalued Wondale Robinson was. And then he went out
and he was the wide receiver 11. And here we are again talking about how undervalued Wondale
Robinson is. And no one wants him. And no one wants him. No one wants him. Except us.
All right. I might go out and I might start trading for Wondale on some dynasty leagues here. I don't
know. You're really talking me into them. I feel like we're getting icky. Join the dark side.
Oh, I'm fully there. I'm already on the dark side.
Let's get increasingly nastier here, Mitch.
We went from Justin Jefferson to Wondale.
We're getting a little bit deeper in our bag here.
I'm switching gears to a running back.
I'm going to talk about Rashad White,
who I've never really been a huge Rashad White guy,
even going back to his rookie year with Tampa,
with Leonard Fernand on that team.
I was never really overly impressed by Rashad White,
so it feels weird to me to now think of him as a buy-and-diancey,
but I do.
I truly think he is a great,
buy in Dynasty Leagues right now. He got a surprisingly weak contract from Washington, which is my only
major concern because we always talk about follow the money when guys get paid like that's a sign
they're going to be used. But we've seen veterans with surprisingly low contracts outperform those
contracts before. I mean, look at Rico Dattle just last year who got close to the vet minimum and was
absolutely phenomenal with Carolina. So it can be done. And I think there's a good chance it is
done in this case, especially given the landing spot. I love that he is with the commanders,
who's running back room looks as barren and depressing as Chargers' home games. There is
nobody there. Chris Rodriguez is gone. He was probably their best guy last year. He's in Jacksonville
now, which just leaves Jacori Croski Merritt and Jerome Ford as about the only thing standing
between Rashad White and a desirable starting gig. And I just don't view Bill or Jerome Ford
as serious threats at all. If you watched any football,
of theirs last year. I don't think they are very good. But Rashad White, going into his age 27th season,
not young by any means, especially for running back. But I think he's got a few solid years left.
And yet he's being ranked as the dynasty running back 45 on Fantasy Pro's consensus rankings.
Wow, that is low. So low. Like someone, please explain that to me. And I know there are rumors they could
draft Jeremiah Love in the first round. But right now the drum is beating so loudly that he will not make it
there that he'll either be in Tennessee or New York. So I'm willing to take the risk they don't draft
love. I've also seen some reports in recent days, which have surprised me that even if he's
available there, they might pass on him to address more urgent needs. So who knows? I mean,
I think they still could take Jeremiah I love, but I'm not scared enough to dissuade me from
aggressively targeting Rashad White in Dynasty leagues. There have been historical efficiency
concerns for Rashad White.
But he was actually really effective last year,
especially filling in with Bucky Irvin.
Despite splitting work with Sean Tucker
when Bucky Irving was hurt,
he still had two top 10 finishes
over those seven weeks.
And this one surprised me.
He had pro football focuses
highest rushing grade among all halfbacks last season.
So clearly the tape was good.
Clearly it stood out.
And now he's a part of this commander's offense,
who I'm bullish on bouncing back of Jaden Daniels
can stay healthy.
I want a piece of this offense.
And by the way, for what it's worth, I don't know how much this means,
but Rashad White did play with Jaden Daniels at LSU.
So there's definitely familiarity there, hopefully some chemistry as well.
Like I said, I want a piece of this offense.
And I think Rashad White's a really cheap, good piece you can get.
That's a really fun point at the end.
I think something that makes him such a value, because I do agree with you,
is we often look at guys who will pop off at the end of the year
and we get super excited about them.
Or they'll pop off at the beginning.
and we're like, okay, it's kind of a sleeper because people forgot about it.
Rashad White popped off at the most inconspicuous part of the year.
No one thinks about those middle weeks, like, everyone's focused on when they were trying
to get into the playoffs and the beginning when they had so much hope about their team.
And so I think that's where you can actually really snipe some value.
And I think this is a great pick.
My only hesitancy is, we talked about it in last week's episode,
I'm someone who thinks Jeremiah love will end up with Washington.
Right.
That being said, you're right as well.
the drums beating louder and louder that he's probably not making it past New York in the draft,
like if he's there.
I cannot see the Tennessee thing.
I just don't think they're going to do it, but I also...
I don't think they should do it.
I don't think Tennessee should do it.
I think they very well could.
Yeah, there have been plenty of times that teams have done things early in drafts that they really
shouldn't have.
You got to sell tickets.
Yeah, exactly.
Which, I mean, I don't know.
Who knows if that would affect Wondale Robbins and honestly, but I feel pretty
firmly that he will end up in Washington. If he doesn't, this is a phenomenal, phenomenal pick.
I think running back 45 is such a good price. That's my thing right now is like, is he dirt,
dirt cheap? No, but he's cheap enough that I think it's worth the risk. Because even if they do
draft Jeremiah Love, you're like, shit, probably shouldn't have made that trade, but you didn't
have to pay all that much anyways. And the upside is there that if they don't select Jeremiah Love,
you can get him out a crazy discount right now. All right, let me get into my second guy. I was actually
going to go Ty Why Hilton here, but unfortunately he retired.
So I'm going to talk about my guy, Devontas Smith, instead.
The 27-year-old former Heisman and Boletnikov winner
is currently going as the wide receiver 25 in Dynasty.
And I do understand the pessimism.
I actually want to shout out our guests last week,
Matthew Betts, who talked a little bit about this
and kind of got me digging into the Devonta Smith thing a little bit more.
It was a brutal year for the Eagles.
Like, I know like none of us enjoyed watching that team.
But he finished as the wide receiver 21 with how,
awful everything was. He was the wire receiver 24 before that and he was the wire receiver 19 the
year before that. So honestly, if nothing was going to change for him at a prime age for wide receivers
27 years old, I would say this price is actually pretty fair of wide receiver 25. But now the
rumors are getting like way too loud to ignore and I think all of us are kind of starting to get like,
I think A.J. Brown's going to get moved. Whether it's New England or elsewhere, I don't think
he's going to be in Philadelphia. But it feels like DeVontes Smith's price hasn't moved in like
relation to that. So you basically got until what, June 1st, until it's going to be like making
sense with the money for them to move him. We talked about this recently, but Kevin Petula is out.
I expect to bounce back from this Philadelphia Eagles offense to begin with this year. And now
there's a world where DeVantza Smith becomes the wide receiver one in Philly. He is an undeniable,
undeniable talent. I think anybody who actually watches football games knows how good DeVantza Smith is.
He'd probably be the wide receiver one on like 15 other teams.
Now you give him the wide receiver one role in that offense that we expect to take a step up.
Maybe it's not the 2024 Eagles, but something above the 2025 Eagles.
So if you agree that AJ Brown's getting moved, then it's like a foregone conclusion.
This is an absolute steal of a price for a 27-year-old wide receiver, former Heisman winner,
who could be entering into his prime in the most sensational position possible being a wide receiver one in a high-powered offense.
I love it.
I think you nailed it.
It boils down to this.
He's being priced right now as if A.J. Brown will be there.
And I do not think A.J. Brown will be there.
Not only do I think it is more probable than not that A.J. Brown is moved.
I'm very convinced A.J. Brown is going to be moved.
I do not think he will be on this team in the future.
Let's go to the world where he doesn't get moved.
We're all caught off guard.
And he's, you know, like, you know what?
I'm happy to be in Philadelphia.
And you went and bought Devonsa Smith at a wide receiver 25 price.
I think you still paid a D.
in price for Devonza Smith. I think it was still a good deal. Yeah, exactly. You're going to end up paying
like fair market value on Devontas Smith. A.J. Brown stays and you get a steal if he's moved,
which again, we think he will. So this one seems like a no-brainer to me, a guy to go after.
Yeah. I'm so excited about him. We'll be monitoring it closely, but we also talked last week,
and we've been talking all offseason about trying to project ADP rises. And this one is like so clear
cut to me that there's such an opportunity for him to be being drafted. Like, I've been,
I feel like Betts was talking about, like, the second round.
I don't know if I go that high, but like, at least third round.
Third round.
Jaylen Hertz, number one receiver, where we drafted in AJ Brown last year,
while he had Devontas Smith taking targets away.
Yeah, it was probably, like, best ball drafts, 12 teams.
He was, I think, going, like, mid-second.
So I think Devontasmith probably goes early third, maybe.
Like, he'll rise a ton.
I said it earlier this offseason, and I feel like I may have killed for it,
but, like, I think he's more talented than A.J. Brown.
I don't know if I go that far, but he's very talented.
I will say that.
Regardless of who you think's more talented, he's a steal at a wide receiver 25 price and dynasty.
100% agreed there.
No objections.
All right, do we want to move on to our final pick?
Our league winner?
The big one.
This is the big one, Mitch.
This is a guy that I had in redraft last year, and I had in a lot of best ball,
and I think disappointed a lot of people, and he's such a great post-type sleeper.
and we've talked about our hindsight episodes
and we've talked in our rankings videos
about what's important
and what you look for in these top guys
and there's a whole lot coming together this offseason
for Mr. Ladd McConkey from the Los Angeles Chargers.
I'm going to go in a little bit
and then I'll let you give your points
but this has been your thing all offseason.
Joe Alt and Rashon Slater coming back this year
they did not play pretty much all of last year
and we had the worst offensive line in the NFL in L.A.
now grabbing two all pro tackles.
Mike McDaniel may not have succeeded as a head coach,
but just had the conversation about Brian Dable.
You can be an awful head coach and a great coordinator.
Look at Josh McDaniels with the Patriots this year.
Mike McDaniel, I think, is going to take this Los Angeles Chargers offense up a notch.
And then the other huge thing for Ladd,
our biggest concern last offseason was they signed Keenan Allen,
who plays a very similar game, runs a lot of very similar routes.
Keenan Allen gone vacating 122 targets.
I think that this is an absolute smash spot for a guy
who finished as the wide receiver 27 last year
with Keenan there, with no offensive line,
and now he's the wide receiver 16.
Preach. Preach. Preach, preach, preach.
I am with you every step of the way there.
I am all over Ladd-McConkie and Dynasty League.
It is weirdly kind of a blessing he was disappointing last year
because I still view...
Sneaky, yeah.
I view his future the same way I do.
it a year ago. And now you can get them even cheaper, which is just amazing. Couldn't have said it
better myself. Like, especially with Keenan gone, now you look at Quentin Johnston, who isn't a real
threat to volume anyways, but he also just plays an entirely different role in the offense. So,
like, who really cares? They add the two rookie picks from last year, Trey Harris and Keandre Lambert
Smith, who did next to nothing all season. I don't really have all of that high of expectations
for them, even if they play a bigger role in their second years. I don't think they'll take
away a ton of meaningful volume from Ladd-McConkey. Everything's coming together for this offense.
I think the passing game will run heavily through Ladd-McConkey, which it did, by the way,
the second half of his rookie year in 2024, Ladd-McConkey was the V guy on this offense. It
ran through him in the passing game, and I think we'll be back there. I forgot to mention, yeah,
you were talking about, like, you don't view him any differently. He finishes the Y-Rceiver 12,
his rookie year. That's where all the excitement came from last season. Yeah, and it was the wide-receiver-12
heavily on the back of the second half of the season. He didn't really do all that much the first half
of his rookie year. He just was so sensational the second half. It elevated him all the way to
wide receiver 12. If he can put together a full year even close to what he did the second half of
his rookie year, you're talking about an elite elite asset for years to come. He's not cheap by any
means like we talked about with Justin Jefferson. He's still a guy you're going to have to pay for.
but for what you can get him for now,
I think it's 100% worth it
because of that disappointing second year.
And I think we see something closer
to his rookie year going forward.
Yeah, he's certainly not cheap,
but also I think when you're coming out here
like we are and saying this guy's a league winner,
like we don't want to give you some guy
who's like the wide receiver 50 off the board
and being like he's going to win you your league.
I'm willing to take a stab at the wide receiver 16
with the chance that he could be a top five receiver this year
and win me my league.
Yeah, and I think that I know it sounds crazy.
I think that is his upside.
I don't think he has the talent of the guys we're ranking in the top five,
but he has everything else.
The situation in L.A., we keep harping on it because it's so true.
It's going to get so much better there.
He's got an elite quarterback.
He's going to get such high volume in that offense.
Like, everything is there.
And he is talented enough that he could be a top five receiver
with all of that going on around him.
Can I say something we haven't even mentioned?
Yeah.
Ladbeconki's 24 years old.
Yeah.
Like, you're getting a guy that you could, and also another guy that, like, I don't think
Ladmanconki's like a burner by any stretch.
Like, he is a guy that, like, could rely on fundamentals and you could have until he's 32, 33.
Like, this is the type of archetype for a player that you could feel good about having for a long time.
We talked about Keenan Allen and how they were kind of playing similar roles.
Very similar, yeah.
He could be Keenan Allen.
He could have a career just like Keenan Allen.
And that's, that says a lot.
That says a whole lot.
and I think it is in its range of outcomes absolutely.
100%.
Let us know down below if you agree with these picks,
and also let us know down below if we missed any huge dynasty trade targets
or guys you want us to talk about in a future episode.
Mello, we miss anything?
I think we got it all.
All right, we will be hitting you guys up next Monday
with some of our dynasty sleepers for 2026.
Catch you guys next episode.
