These exercises we're going to take you through on today's episode is going to push your boundaries.
It's going to challenge you. It's going to make you think outside the box.
It's going to seem a little bizarre, but also if you work through it, you're going to have some big picture ideas.
My name is Rudy Moore, host of Living the Red Life podcast, and I'm here to change the way you see your life in your earpiece every single week.
If you're ready to start living the red life, ditch the blue pill, take the red pill, join me in Wonderland and change your life. Welcome back to another episode of Living the
Red Life. Very special episode today as I am here at my castle. If you're tuning in
on Audible only, then you can skip over to YouTube after this is done and have a look
at the backdrop. It's pretty impressive. This is our epic castle where we host our Inner Circle Legacy retreats and our executive retreats.
And a lot of magic happens at this castle. Why? Because we create million plus dollar ideas.
Many, several ideas, several funnels, several products, products you've probably purchased, content you've probably interacted with,
podcasts that you've probably listened to just like this have come out of this castle. And today's episode is all about big picture thinking. And I'm going to
take you guys through some of the exercises that I do with my exec team here. And I'm going to take
you guys through some of the exercises that I do with my clients that are paying 50 to 100k to be
in the right room. And these exercises we're going to take you through on today's episode
is going to push your boundaries. It's going to challenge you. we're going to take you through on today's episode is going to
push your boundaries. It's going to challenge you. It's going to make you think outside the box.
It's going to seem a little bizarre, but also if you work through it, you're going to have some
big picture ideas. And these are all backed by activities we've ran for the last two or three
years when I've hosted corporate executive retreats and then these high level kind of small group masterminds and strategy
sessions. The first exercise I want you to take you through and one of the biggest things we do here
is getting my staff and my members to think outside of the day-to-day because what happens
when you're in your business right now, and I teach this a lot, you only ever think and act at
the capacity that is in line with what you
know, what you've seen, what you can achieve. And this is the four minute mile story I've told
at events and on podcasts and on this podcast in previous episodes about you only think and
believe and act based on what your perception of reality is. So when you're building your business
and you're looking at a new idea for your business, say you make a hundred grand a year, you're generally not making a new initiative or strategy that could
make you $10 million. Because if you're only making a hundred grand a year or say $8,000 a
month, then you're not randomly just going to think of this $10 million idea and work on it.
It might become a pipe dream or a future idea, but rarely are you going to believe in it and
bring it to life. So what happens is you go and brainstorm or thinking of a new product
or a new idea, and you might be like, oh, if I'm making a hundred grand a year or eight grand a
month, and this new idea can make me another hundred grand a year or eight grand a month,
I'm winning, which is true. You just doubled your revenue. That's awesome. But it's going to take
the same energy and effort to build that new initiative, product, funnel or service that can make you eight grand a month or 100 grand a year, as it will take to build a product or a service or a funnel that could make you 100 grand a month or a million a year. Right. So 10x, for example. And that's what the whole purpose of when we run these exercises with staff and clients is making them think way
bigger because I've learned in life, growing many businesses, watching many businesses grow,
learning from billionaires, it generally takes the same energy and effort to make 10 grand a month,
20 grand a month, 50 grand a month, 100 grand a month. So the more you can push yourself
to think bigger, the quicker you'll hit those revenue ceilings and break through them and then start hitting the revenue goals that are probably a pipe dream for you right now.
So the first exercise in line from this that I have my members do is we actually do an exercise
called, and I kind of run this with them, what would Elon do? And the idea of that exercise,
if I dropped Elon Musk into your business and he took over the business,
right? You two did a handover and he took over the business tomorrow, what would he be doing
on the business to get it to a million dollars or $5 million or $10 million or $20 million or
$100 million? Because I guarantee if you dropped him in your business right now, tomorrow or next
week or next month, you might work on an opt-in page.
You might work on a new landing page.
You might work on some emails.
You might work on a new banner or a new logo, which is great.
But I guarantee Elon Musk isn't going to go, okay, first order of business, I'm going to get a new blog post going.
I'm going to write a few emails.
I'm going to do a couple of social media posts.
Because he doesn't think that way.
He thinks a hundred times bigger or a million times bigger.
So he's going to come in and look at the business and go, okay, well, it's XYZ business.
If we want to go to tens of millions, we need to buy a couple of these businesses.
We need to change the perception of this business.
We need to get a bunch of press and PR on it.
We need to create these strategic partnerships.
We need to get in all the Walmart stores and the
CVS stores, whatever, right? He's going to come in with these massive ideas because he doesn't
think or play small. And he's going to create initiatives that have massive ROI potential that
could make tens of millions of dollars versus hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands of
dollars. So first thing I want you to do right now is take a second and
having what would Elon do, right? And this isn't something that you can just do while listening to
this episode. You might want to go away after this episode and run through this exercise, right? Sit
in a room, quiet room, right? Maybe out somewhere in nature where you can be creative, right?
Somewhere in sunlight. I like to do, you know, that's why I love this castle because we have this epic view of like, you know, all the mountains and the leaves changing and blue sky.
And it's so open, right? And we're at this 13,000 square foot castle-like building and we have 60
acres of land we own here. So it makes you see and think big, okay? So find a good environment
and go spend 30 minutes, 15, 30 minutes,
and think what, write down what would Elon do, right?
And brainstorm all the things he would be doing.
Because I guarantee he's going to push you, right?
When you put on Elon Musk's hat and you start thinking like him,
it's going to push you to think way differently.
It's going to push you to go outside the box.
It's going to push you to go outside the box. It's going to push you to create ideas and strategies and initiatives that you might
not have done for three years or five years or maybe ever because your mindset was limited.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Wait a second.
Before we go into the rest of this episode, I'm going to interrupt abruptly and just ask
you one big favor.
I hope you're getting a ton of value, a ton of knowledge.
I hope you're getting some breakthroughs from myself and the guests. And I want one thing in return. What I would love is
for you to subscribe and leave a review. The reviews and the subscription grows the podcast.
It allows me to bring you even better guests. It allows me to invest even more time and money
into this podcast to bring you the latest and greatest, the best entrepreneurs from around
the world that are crushing life, crushing their business,
and giving you all the tools, the mindset hacks,
the knowledge, and the environment
you need to be successful.
So do me a favor, if you've got any amount of value
from today's episode so far, or any previous episode,
or any of the content I've done,
it would mean the world to me
if you hit a five-star review,
give us your feedback on the show, the episodes,
and subscribe and download.
Plus, if you do that and send me a screenshot
on Instagram, at rudymorelife,
I will send you a bunch of my free training,
marketing courses, sales courses worth $499.
Yes, $500 worth of courses for a simple 30-second review.
It would mean the world to me.
Send me that screenshot.
I would love for you to leave that review and I would appreciate it very, very much so we can
keep growing this show and make it awesome. So let's get back into the episode. I appreciate
you guys and let's dive back in. So put on the Elon Musk hat, right? And it's going to push you
to think way bigger. It's going to push you to take your ideas to the next level. It's going to
expedite three or five years of you doing small things into big things. And it's going to push you to take your ideas to the next level. It's going to expedite three or five years of you doing small things into big things.
And it's going to show you that you have the mindset and the skills and the knowledge to think way bigger.
You've just been limited by your own perception of reality up until now.
OK, so the second and the next exercise, what I want you to do is brainstorm a ton of new ideas, a ton of new offers.
We do this session called New Offer Creation.
I've made millions of dollars from this one exercise in here
where I've thought about a ton of individual new ideas and offers.
So what I want you to do is go and look at your best performing opt-ins,
offers, products, okay?
Or go, if you don't have many and you've not got much success,
go look at some of your competitors, right?
In your industry that have sold a bunch. And then I want you to go away and brainstorm a ton of variations.
I want you to go and brainstorm a ton of parallels. And what I mean by that is say you sell
a t-shirt, right? With a political statement and it does really well. And that's the only t-shirt
with a political statement on your e-commerce site. A parallel to that would be a
ton more t-shirts with political statements on them. Another parallel might be, well, this is
doing well because people are really attracted to one side of the political party. So I'm going to
do the same for religion now, okay? And then I'm going to do the same for the opposite side of the
political party. And then I'm going to look at different controversial communities or tribes or belief systems, right? And then I'm going to do a
series of t-shirts based on those, right? So have a think about what is currently doing well,
and then how can I create parallel opportunities that are similar so they have the success formula baked in,
but they're different enough that might expand this whole new industry. And we've done this at
least one time on our low ticket offers. And I'd have to check, but it's probably added about
maybe $3 million to the business in the last year. I think this was, we do these events every six
months. So it's probably three events ago, so 18 months ago. And then we've had a few ideas that have done a couple of hundred
thousand, a few hundred thousand dollars from this as well. So it's been super lucrative for us.
And what happens is we fill up enough ideas that we don't have to be thinking about a ton of ideas
throughout the year because we just have this list, right? I could probably sell these documents
that I've created for millions of dollars because they're worth, they're golden, right? I could probably sell these documents that I've created for millions of dollars
because they're worth, they're golden, right?
They're all the brains of my business, myself, my team,
sat in rooms for eight, 10, 12 hours a day.
So think about new offers, new product variations,
new expansions into similar industries
using a proven model, okay?
I'll give you an example.
One of our best-selling offers was done for you ads for $97.
You've probably bought that, many of you have heard about it.
And I came up with that offer
because I wanted something that disrupts the industry.
Until I came up with that, in my opinion,
there wasn't really any way you could go and get all your ads
and your ad accounts set up and help
unless you paid an agency thousands of dollars
or you hired a random freelancer
on Upwork that isn't that experienced. They don't have the system blueprint and experience I have,
right? Spending millions of dollars successfully. And I charge 10 grand a month or 15 grand a month
for my agency. So most people can't afford that. So I created this industry disrupting product.
It went on and did millions of dollars and it still runs to this day three years later. And then I go, well, this is a winner because I'm taking this really high value
perception idea that most people haven't ever, like most people know costs thousands of dollars
and I'm going to make it super affordable. And I actually lose money on selling that because it
takes a lot of work, but I got thousands of people on it because it's so unique so then I go okay
well how can I use that same concept how can I take something that has really high perceived value
and is really expensive everyone wants but most people can't afford and then how can I make it
super cheap and that's why being in this creative environment with a big team helps because you get
to brainstorm all these things so anyway we went ahead and did that we created another product
I won't tell you what it is but it's live live today. And it's active and crushing it. And that went on and made
millions of dollars too. And that's from this one exercise. So think about products you can make,
like I said, go look at competitors, create new variations, it's an amazing exercise for you
to kind of like just flush out a bunch of ideas. And what we do is we flush out 50 ideas,
we narrow it down to 10 or 20,
and then we'll actually test those,
we'll email them, we'll pick a few,
run a few ads to them,
just look at the click-through rate,
and then we'll pick the ones we feel the most confident in
and actually build the sales process,
landing pages, funnels, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So that is the second exercise.
Third and final, I mean, we do a ton,
we do about 20 different exercises, but I'm going to give you a third and final one for today. What I want you to do for this third and final exercise to think bigger, to think outside the box. I love this exercise too, that I run with my team and I made all these up over time to get my team super creative and my clients. So this third and final one we do is how will my business look at $100 million?
So you're gonna look at what you're currently doing
and then you're gonna go into this parallel universe
and look at, okay, I'm teleporting five, 10 years ahead.
What is happening when we're a $100 million company?
What are the assets we have?
What are the partnerships we have?
How many staff do we have?
Where are our offices?
What are we known for? What sort of products do we have? What divisions partnerships we have? How many staff do we have? Where are our offices? What are we known for?
What sort of products do we have?
What divisions do we have?
How are we using AI or whatever, right?
So you're going to create literally like a description.
Hey, this is what we're doing.
This is what we have.
This is what our revenue is made up of.
This is our staff.
This is what we're known for.
So you're kind of creating this future version of yourself, which is super cool, super fun exercise, and you get to see super far ahead.
But also at the same time, it's kind of giving you a blueprint based on what you believe.
So then what I like to do is I like to go, well, if this is what I know the future lies for me,
how do I get there faster? How do I do some of these things now and start that journey today
versus waiting five or ten years, right?
So that's the third and final exercise is this future thinking.
Draw out your $100 million company and flush it out in depth, right?
A few bullets per section.
And that's kind of your blueprint for growth.
So there it is, the third exercise.
I hope you found today awesome.
I hope you got some value.
I hope it was a little different and something unique that most people couldn't teach you.
And these are some of our secrets,
our closely guarded secret activities
that we only do with our exec team
and we only do with our 1500K members.
And I gave them to you guys today
because I value all of you watching and listening today.
And I want to help you.
And that's just a glimpse of the magic
that happens at the castle.
