So what do I mean by building the perfect environment and why is it really important to you?
Well, what I mean by that is building all the foundational components of your life
to have the best chance of success ever, right?
My name is Rudy Moore, host of Living the Red Life podcast,
and I'm here to change the way you see your life in your earpiece every single week.
If you're ready to start living the red life, ditch the blue pill,
take the red pill, join me in Wonderland and change your life. Hey guys, what's up? Welcome
back. Today we are all going to talk about building the perfect environment to become a
millionaire, to become successful, to live your dream life. That's what the red life's all about.
I am working hard right now to build that perfect environment for me. So I thought this was
the perfect opportunity to educate you guys on it and just share like how I see building the perfect
environment. And don't worry, this is going to be a good episode. I know that title sounds kind of
bizarre. Like, what do you mean? Well, let me go through it because I promise you after 10, 12 years,
I had seen is one of the secrets to success. And when you look at billionaires
and like ultra successful people, so I'm talking people like worth over a hundred mil, the best
NBA players in the world, best athletes, best movie stars, you know, many of which I hang out
with because of the celebrity side of my business, they all share this one thing in common. And I'm
seeing it more and more in the last two or three years because I'm now hanging out with people worth a hundred million plus. So, and I kind of, it was like a wake up
call for me and I kind of go, huh, that makes sense. And, you know, now I've paid even more
attention to it. I'm more focused on it and I'm putting a lot more time, energy and effort into
it. Okay. So what do I mean by building the perfect environment? Why is it really important to you? Well, what I mean by that is building all the foundational components of your life to
have the best chance of success ever, right?
Or to have the best chance of becoming who you want to be, right?
So if you want to be a pro basketball player, you've got to build this perfect environment
to become a pro basketball player. If you want to become a movie star, then you've got to build that right
environment. If you want to become a millionaire, you've got to build that right environment. If you
want to become a cover model, you've got to build that environment. And I would argue that building
that environment sets you up for success or failure way more than many of the things you
really focus on, right? So you might say, well, you know, if I want to be great at basketball, I need to go play basketball every
day. That is 100% true. But what I would argue is if you build a perfect environment, a lot of the
things that you're having to discipline yourself on or figure out or stay consistent with or work
hard to achieve, they become like natural if you're in the right environment, okay? So let me give you a good example.
If you wanted to become a great surfer, right?
Imagine you moved to North Beach in Hawaii, right?
And you lived in North Beach, Hawaii, and you went and worked at a surf,
little surf shack, surf rental, beach rental on the beach in Hawaii.
And pretty much all they do out there is guess what? Surf,
right? All the staff surf, all the people come to North Beach. It's famous for the crazy waves you
see in the movies. The people travel from around the world to surf, right? So if your goal was to
surf and you move there and got a job there, do you think in a year's time you'd be an amazing
surfer or way better? Yeah, you would, right? Now, if you don't
look at it that way, and that's the environment, right? Building that perfect environment. Now,
most people don't look at it that way. I didn't use to either. And you'd say, well, I want to
become great at surfing. I need to on some surf vacations and take surf lessons and buy a surf
board. They're all like tactical things to do, right? And they're important,
but they're smaller than just doing the environmental shift. If you want to become
great at basketball, right? Go hang out with NBA basketball players all day, okay? Go play
basketball every day with them, right? Go maybe join an NBA team as an assistant or a cleaner
or something like that, right? Maybe move next to a basketball court, maybe move to
America where people play basketball more than they played in the UK. They're all environmental
changes where I would argue almost guarantee your success in achieving the goal. So what I'm trying
to explain here when I say build the perfect environment is it's kind of a cheat code,
or it's almost a way to guarantee the success in whatever goal you have. So if you want to
become a millionaire, how do you build the perfect environment to become a millionaire? Well, you look
at everything that's needed and where those people are and what those people are doing and how they're
living their life and where those people are building that level of wealth. So if you move to
an area, say in Miami or Dubai or New York, where most of them are
millionaires and the restaurant there, they're all millionaires, the golf club they play out,
they're all millionaires. Okay. They go to all these events at the weekend and they're all
millionaires there too. Right. And their kids are all kids of millionaires. Then you probably have
way more chance of becoming a millionaire than if you live on a farm in the middle of England,
right? In the countryside. Would you agree? Hopefully so, right? So the point here again is if you want to become
a millionaire and you're in a small town right now, you're going to go and do all these tactical
things to, and I'm not saying this episode is all about moving. I'm just using it as more of like an
extreme easy example. But if you're in the middle of nowhere in Missouri or in England,
and your goal is to become a millionaire, you're going to have to work so hard on all these
tactical things. Whereas if you build the environment of a millionaire and the habits of a
millionaire, and you spend time with more millionaires and you create that perfect environment
to become a millionaire, I would argue a lot of those other tactical things will fall into place. So for me now, I focus on building the environment of what the goal is that I'm trying to achieve.
So if I'm trying to achieve a sporting goal, I'll build the right environment to help me
facilitate that.
If I'm trying to build a goal within my company, say I want to expand into TV shows, well,
I'm going to start building the right
environment to get into TV. And I'm going to analyze and look at what does it take to get
into TV? What are those TV people doing to be successful in TV? Well, they have an agent,
they go to LA a lot, they live in LA or a big city. They have production managers,
they're watching TV shows to look at scripts and set up everything like that. Okay. They go into conferences.
They're networking with other TV stars.
Okay.
Producers.
So I'm starting to build this environment and I'm not doing anything like super tactical
of I'm going to get a VA to create a list of 200 TV shows.
I'm going to write a script.
I'm going to send a scripted email to 200 TV shows, that's
a tactical thing. And don't get me wrong, I don't mind those. And I did that for 10 years of my life.
But now I'm doing more of these environmental things that I think will give me the guaranteed
success almost or give me way higher chances of success. And then if I still do those tactical
things on the back end, they're going to work much better. So imagine I just did everything I said to get on TV.
So I'm now friends with producers, hanging out with TV stars.
I watch a bunch of TV shows for like what I'm trying to get into.
So it's comedy.
And I understand the industry super well.
I'm going to the events, networking, meeting all the production companies.
I hired a producer, have an agent.
And then I go on the tactical side,
I'm going to create this script, you know, this templated script, and have it sent out to everyone.
Well, now I understand the industry way more, I've got a bunch of connections, bunch of emails,
bunch of references, have an agent, I've been to all the events, probably met some of the people
I'm going to email. So when I send the email, they know who I am, right? So you see how that
environment created the probability of success to go up tenfold. It's really important you understand that.
So I think what most people don't understand is you can control the environment. It takes someone
to be strong and determined and serious, but you can control the environment for whatever you want
to achieve in life. And you have to understand that's the secret to, you know,
and obviously as many secrets, it's not the one thing, but that is partly a secret to a lot of
the most successful people in the world. They create the environments they need to have that
level of success. And you'll hear from every single one of them at some point, especially if
you ask them, they had to create some sort of change and disconnect from environments and places and energy and people that weren't serving their goals.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a second.
Before we go into the rest of this episode, I'm going to interrupt abruptly and just ask you one big favor.

mean the world to me. Send
me that screenshot. I would love for you to leave that review and I would appreciate it very, very
much so we can keep growing this show and make it awesome. So let's get back into the episode.
I appreciate you guys. And let's dive back in. So part of it is creating the right environment,
right? Whether that's changing your friendship group, moving, relocating, changing jobs,
changing how you spend your time, changing where you travel to.
And then part of it's disconnecting from the stuff not going to support your environment,
which and it's like a 50-50 blend.
So for me, you know, at the time of filming this,
we just opened an office in Miami and I've moved to Miami.
Now I zigzag between Tampa and Miami.
And that was a big part,
was pretty much all actually. The only reason was because I felt that environment suited where I wanted to go in my life and what I wanted my life to look like. Now, if I wanted to get into Wall
Street and hedge funds, where would I have moved to? New York. If my number one goal was being a
movie star, I would have moved my ass to
L.A. OK, if I wanted to become great at surfing, I would have probably moved to Hawaii. OK, so and
yes, I am an extreme example where I'm literally willing to relocate my life and move to achieve
my goals. OK, and obviously I wouldn't do it if I was miserable I think happiness and fulfillment is super important but to me they go hand in hand if I moved to Miami I love it so it wasn't like a
downgrade I love the energy I love the how people are interacting there I love the busyness of it
right I love so much going on but so it's a plus for me there but also it supports the environment
and my goals and my drive.
And a great summary of this, I put it on my Instagram the other day, was where I live in Tampa now, I did live, right?
I have a place here still.
If you have a $20 million house, it's like the house that Derek Jeter had and I think Brady moved into when he moved here.
There's a couple of $20 million mansions on the ocean.
Great, amazing houses, right?
But what I find funny is that's the biggest house. That's like, hey, ocean. Great, amazing houses, right? But what I find funny is
that's the biggest house. That's like, hey, you're the king of Tampa, right? You got the $20 million
house here. However, in Miami, that house is $200 million. You have the $200 million house in Miami
on Star Island, and I have a couple of clients that have big houses on those islands. Now you're
the king of Miami, right? And those levels, if you think about it,
are literally 10 times higher. 20 times 10 is 200 million, okay? And it's not about, can you buy a
$200 million house? It's nothing to do with that. It's about the point of the seriousness and the
aggressiveness of a goal, okay? So it's like, yeah, you can be the best basketball player in the UK, but their best player in the UK is probably like low NBA standards out in America.
So it's what game do you want to play in? I don't want to play in the B leagues.
I want to play in the A leagues and the A leagues to me were Miami, L.A., New York, right?
Maybe Vegas and Miami was way easier for me, more logical place.
I wanted to live the most easy to get backwards
and forwards between these offices. So I made the decision of, hey, you know, I'm past the 10
million mark in revenue and business side, and I'm trying to go to that 100 million the next few
years. And I think that is going to push me like a current, right? It's going to push me forward
and support my goals because I'm building the right environment there, the right people, the right drive, the right motivation, more opportunity, more go mentality, which a lot of people don't want.
But for me, more go mentality than out here on the beach.
It's lovely.
It's relaxing, but it's more chill.
So everything there supported my goals.
And I encourage you, and it doesn't mean just moving.
That's probably the easiest because it doesn't mean just moving. That's like kind of probably the easiest, right?
Because it's a whole lifestyle change.
But for you, it's how do you build that perfect environment for success?
And it starts by where you sleep at night, okay?
Are you sleeping in a good environment?
Somewhere that's clean?
Somewhere that's got good air quality?
Somewhere that you sleep well?
That you get good sleep. Why?
Because sleep is super important for pretty much every aspect of life, your health, your energy
levels, your blood, you know, blood work. You're going to get unhealthy if you have bad sleep
chronically. You're going to get healthier if you have great sleep over time. So it starts with
where you live, okay? And that doesn't mean you've got to go buy a two million dollar mansion, but it
might mean you have to bring in a cleaner or you have to be more disciplined in cleaning up yourself. If you live
in a messy house, a house that's not decorated, a house that looks ugly, then you're probably less
likely to take care of yourself. You're probably going to feel less energized in the morning.
You're probably going to want to stay in more. If you live in a country where it's always cold
and raining, you're probably going to stay in more and not be as energized. I know because I lived in England
and when it's gray and rainy, you just want to relax on the couch. I promise you that.
In Florida, when it's sun's out, everyone's out having fun, working out, running on the bay,
biking on the bay or the outdoor gyms, right? Like in South Beach or here in Tamperin Bayshore,
you want to go out and go
after it. You want to be energized. You want to be active. You want to get out in the sun. You feel
better after it. And they're two great examples of how environment will dictate success. If you're
living in this horrible, gray, rainy, cold, you know, culture, right, or environment, and you want
to go out, it's going to take way more discipline. And a lot
more times you're going to fail or say no or stay in or not put the running shoes on if you want to
become a runner. If you're in an amazing environment like Florida, you're probably going to be more
active and healthier. So where you live, your house, how your room looks, how tidy is a big
part of it. Your office. I spent two, three, 400k on my offices,
not because I just wanted it to look cool. Obviously, that was partly it. But it was
because I wanted the energy and the environment to, you know, amp everyone up for it to be a
cool place to work, a place people are excited to come into, a place where I brought in guests and
clients and members and prospects. And they were like, wow, I want to do business with
this company. They get it. They get branding. They get marketing. They're all in. They're extreme.
That's my personality, right? In an office. So build that environment. Okay. Say no and get rid
of the things today that don't support your environment. If you want to be healthy, get rid
of all the chocolate. Okay. And all the crap in your cupboards if you want to be successful stop hanging around with broke people okay so whatever you've got to do to get in the
right environment make it happen if you want to go travel the world and all your friends are saying
don't travel that's silly why would you want to leave what about your family get rid of those
friends or shut them up and go find friends that love traveling,
that travel the world and make millions of dollars traveling the world and building a dream life.
OK, find the people, find the places, find the environments, build the right environment,
map out today what does the perfect environment look like for my goals?
OK, and then whatever that looks like, make a detailed list and then figure out how can I
spend as much time as possible doing all of those things. And I promise you, if you do all of those
things and you surround yourself in the right environment for success, success will feel easier.
Okay. It might feel really hard right now. And yes, business and success is hard, but it's going to
feel a little easier if you're in an environment that
supports your goals, whether that's becoming a surfer, becoming a basketball player, improving
your health and fitness, getting on TV, right? Getting into fashion, whatever that is, okay?
Making a bunch of money, traveling the world, find the people, the places, build the environment,
build the list that will facilitate that goal. And I promise you,
it will come to life much quicker. That is how I see environment. It's something I've learned over
the last few years. It's something I'm way more conscious of. And I regret not being conscious of
it like in the last 10 years, because I didn't have the great environment eight, nine years ago.
And it held me back. It made me think small. And luckily, some of my mentors and, you know,
people more successful than me were pushing me like, really, some of my mentors and, you know, people more successful than
me were pushing me like, really, you can't do this, live here, save money like that, not spend
money like that, waste time like that if you want to be successful. So that drove me to get out of
that environment in a better environment. And when I did that, my success kept going up and my money
kept going up. And now this is my chance to return that favor to all of you. And hopefully it pushes you or at least makes you aware
on what it takes to build a perfect dream environment
to support your goals.
That is what the Red Life's about.
Okay, living in Wonderland.
I hope you can build your Wonderland for yourself.
And I hope all your goals come true.
Until next time, take care guys.
