Starting point is 00:00:00 The right people, the winners, okay, the people that share the same core values and the people that have already done it are going to improve your energy. They're going to lift up your energy. They're going to make you positive. They're going to show you what success looks like and how great it can feel. The people that aren't winners are going to do the opposite. They're going to pull away their negative energy. They're going to pull you down.

These can be family members. And it doesn't mean you've got to now isolate yourself. It doesn't mean you've got to be horrible to them or rude. I'm not saying that. Just means you need to know how to play the game. I learned this the hard way. I tried to play the game and I tried to tell my friends and family and everyone about all the great ideas, all the big things I was going to do, all the stuff I was working on. And guess what? I got met with ifs, buts, whats, and what would happen if it all went wrong. That's all I got, okay? You have to figure out how to surround yourself with winners. Welcome back to another episode of Living the Red Life. Myself, Rudy Moore. And today we're going to talk about listening to other people, your energy, your environment, and who you spend your time with and why this is probably one of the biggest secrets to being a millionaire and being successful. And I didn't know it at the time. I just kind of figured it out along the way. But it's probably when I look back, one of the biggest things that's got me to where I am today. If you don't know who I am, 31 years old, 100 employees, big celebrity
Starting point is 00:01:42 clients, big business partners, built eight companies, passed a million dollars at the age of 31. So I've done a lot. I've achieved a lot. And I would say looking back over the last 10 years, me getting in the right environments with the right people and basically telling everyone else to shut up and go away and ignoring them has put me where I am today. And I know that sounds harsh. And even sometimes I've had to do that with people close to me, but it's so important if you want to achieve greatness in life.
Starting point is 00:02:10 If you don't want to achieve greatness in life, then you can listen to everyone else and kind of just be normal. But I presume you're listening to this episode and watching this today because you want to have a little bit of greatness, right? And you know it's inside you, but you've not figured out how to unlock it yet, right?
Starting point is 00:02:24 And I'm going to tell you today how to start unlocking that greatness. And it begins with listening and being in the right environments, listening to the right people and telling everyone else to basically go away and shut up. Because what's going to happen in life, big picture, is you're going to have the big ideas. You're going to have the different thoughts. You're going to be thinking different, defying the norm, what we would call taking the red pill and living the red life. But the problem is everyone else isn't like you and everyone else is jealous of you wanting to step outside the box. Everyone else is jealous because they're living in the blue life, right? They're living in the shadows. They're living in the dark, right? They're not in a place like you where you can see how amazing life could be. And every time you share an idea,
Starting point is 00:03:10 every time you talk about being different, every time you define the norm, right? And you say something that society doesn't accept, you get met with complaints. You get met with problems. You get met with what ifs. But have you thought about this? What happens if it all fails? What happens if the world ends, right? That's normally what they tell you, okay? But what they don't realize is that is a reflection of themselves. Those limiting beliefs and that like compressing you down
Starting point is 00:03:37 is a reflection of where they are in their own life and the jealousy subconsciously that they have that you're trying to achieve a little bit of greatness. So one of my biggest pieces of advice is don't take advice from many people. Let me say that one more time. My biggest piece of advice is don't take advice and don't listen to many people. The only people that you want to listen to are the people that share the same values and have done what you're trying to do. that share the same values and have done what you're trying to do. They share the same values and they've done what you're trying to do. Now,
Starting point is 00:04:12 think about this. Does that include your parents? Does it include your brother and sister? Does it include your group of friends and your best friend? Does it include your husband and wife? Chances are, no, it does not. It doesn't mean you can't be your husband and wife? Chances are, no, it does not. It doesn't mean you can't be your husband and wife anymore. It doesn't mean they can't be your parents. It doesn't mean you don't love them and care for them. But it does mean you don't need to listen to them all the time about business, about making money, about success, because they don't share the same values.
Starting point is 00:04:41 If they did, they'd be talking to you about it, not the other way around. And they have not done it before. They have not done it before, which means they're not qualified to talk about it. If they started talking about open heart surgery or how to fly an airplane, would that make any logical sense? No, because they've not done it before. But the minute you start talking about your business idea or how you're going to make money or how you're going to buy this real estate investment and rent it out on the side as an Airbnb, wow, now they're an expert. Now they're going to tell you all the ways it can go wrong,
Starting point is 00:05:13 everything that's going to happen, how the world's going to end, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And it's going to condense you. It's going to compress you. Guess why? Because being successful is hard enough. Failure is hard enough.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Starting a business is hard enough. Being successful is hard. The last thing you need is people pushing you down that aren't experienced and don't share your core values. Don't share the values that you have, okay? And they haven't done it before. You need the people. You got to align yourself with the people that have done it before and say, that's so exciting. When are you going to start? When are you going to stop telling me about it and start? What's the next step? How are you going to do it? Have you set a goal deadline yet? That's the people you need around you. Even better, you need who? Oh yeah, I bought 10 Airbnbs. Starting point is 00:06:25 things in life. Surround yourself with winners, okay? And you've got to stop listening to other people. Now next, let's talk about energy and environment, okay? Because this is a direct reflection of what I just said. The right people, the winners, okay? The people that share the same core values and the people that have already done it are going to improve your energy. They're going to lift up your energy. They're going to make you positive. They're going to show you what success looks like and how great it can feel.
Starting point is 00:06:54 The people that aren't winners are going to do the opposite. They're going to pull away their negative energy. They're going to pull you down. And again, these can be friends. These can be family members. And it doesn't mean you've got be family members, and it doesn't mean you've got to now isolate yourself. It doesn't mean you've got to be horrible to them or rude. I'm not saying that. Just means you need to know how to play the game. I learned this the hard way.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I tried to play the game, and I tried to tell my friends and family and everyone about all the great ideas, all the big things I was going to do, all the stuff I was working on. And guess what? I got met with ifs, buts, whats, and what would happen if it all went wrong. That's all I got, okay? You have to figure out how to surround yourself with winners. And then when you go to a family dinner, it's Thanksgiving, Christmas, whatever it is, talk about normal stuff. Just play a game in your head, okay? Play the game in your head. You know that they're gonna do their thing and you know if you start mentioning business and stuff, you might have to switch off for a minute while they talk about all the negative things
Starting point is 00:07:52 that could go wrong or all the questions and then you have to move on from the conversation. Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a second. But focus on being in the right rooms, the right energy, right rooms the right energy right because that energy is infectious it's so infectious if you're in a room of millionaires okay imagine if you spent a week with me following me around we're going to all my celebrity partners hanging out with billionaires coming in this office 100 employees everyone's working hard crushing their goals doing big things you're learning all these marketing tactics, tricks. You see the bell ring every time we close 5, 10, 20, 50K, everyone cheers. You see the tickers of the revenue going up. You see the 50K sales,
Starting point is 00:09:56 the million dollars, right? What are you going to do? You're going to be inspired. You're going to be motivated. You're going to say, how do I create this for myself in my own version? I'm not saying you want what I've got. How do I create my own version of this? What is this? It's my dream life. How do I create my version of my dream life? Rudy's done it. Rudy's doing it for himself. He's helping other people do it around the world. How do I start? It's infectious. How do I be a part of it? I've had people show up with million dollar businesses and they say, Rudy, how do I work for you? I quit my business. How do I work for you? It's infectious. The energy is infectious. That's why I've spent half a million dollars on an office and everything that goes into this infectious, amazing energy space. Okay. This
Starting point is 00:10:41 environment. It's the same reason I spend 10, 12, 15 grand a month on rent, or I buy a, you know, buy a $3 million house. It's the same reason, not because I want to buy a $3 million house or pay 15 grand a month in rent, because I want to wake up every single day and I'm on all glass ocean front hat in my house or my penthouse, right? I want to wake up and I want to go, wow, I'm so lucky I live here. This is amazing. This makes me feel amazing. The sun shines in, there's no alarms or any of that crap. Wake up naturally feeling great. And I go, wow, I'm so lucky, but I worked so hard for 10 years to be in this position today. And now I'm going to work even harder than I've ever worked
Starting point is 00:11:25 before today. Right? So the energy is infectious where you live. Okay. Get rid of the messy house, build an environment you love. You don't have to be a millionaire to do it. You can have a smaller house, but it's well decorated. It's well lit. You have nice, you know, nice big windows, light shines in. You spend a little more money decorating it you come home you're proud about it you walk in and it's your zen it's your peaceful area it's your area of creativity it's an area you're going to spend at least if not more than 50 of your life 50 of your life in this area and you let it get messy and smelly, and you don't respect it,
Starting point is 00:12:08 and then you wonder why you're not motivated, and you wonder why you wake up late, and you wonder why you get home and just want to watch Netflix. Create the energy that's going to make you a millionaire. Create the energy that a millionaire would live in. Ask yourself, would a millionaire live in this? If the answer's no, then you can look in the mirror and say, well, why am I not a millionaire would live in. Ask yourself, would a millionaire live in this? If the answer's no, then you can look in the mirror and say, well, why am I not a millionaire?
Starting point is 00:12:34 You're not doing what a millionaire would do. Not doing what a millionaire would do. A millionaire surrounds himself with winners. A millionaire creates an energy and environment that uplifts him or her. I want you to do the same. I need you to do the same because I know when you do, your business will take off. You'll get promoted in your job. You'll be so creative and confident that you'll quit your job and create the dream business you've wanted to do for five or ten years. You'll be surrounded by winners that are telling you to quit your job. They'll be questioning you. Why are you not starting this? This is amazing. I have friends that can help you with this. I can introduce you to someone that's got your same idea.
Starting point is 00:13:12 They already did $5 million doing this. That's going to tell you exactly what to do. They're going to fill you with confidence. So you're not the lone wolf anymore. You're not the lone wolf surrounded by sheep trying to have a conversation with them about it. The sheep want to stay safe. They want to stay in the herd. They stand there all day. They eat grass. That's all they do. You don't want to be with a sheep. You want to take the red pill and live the red life. You want to be with the wolves and the lions, the people creating greatness, the people leaving a
Starting point is 00:13:41 legacy. And it starts by shutting out the sheep. Stop listening to the sheep hanging around with the wolves and the lions. And when you do, your life will change. So let's summarize so far, right? We're going to take every single piece of effort, every single idea, and we're going to start spending that time and sharing those ideas with winners, with the right people. We're going to play the game and and sharing those ideas with winners, with the right people. We're going to play the game and know when we should have the conversations or not. And we should know if we're around winners or we're around sheep, right? And then we're going to change how we have these conversations depending who we're with.
Starting point is 00:14:17 We're going to figure out how do I get in the rooms with millionaires, work for free, become an intern, get a job with them, look at what they need, add value, look at what their favorite TV show is or sports team, send them a custom gift, do whatever it takes to be in the room with winners, join masterminds, join coaching programs, right? If someone messaged me and said, Rudy, I love your office, I love what you do, you guys are infectious, you guys are crushing it, can I come and clean your office for a week for free? I'm like, yeah, come on down. The floor's dirty.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Let's go. Right? After the week, they worked so hard. I'm like, hey, you want to be hired as an assistant here? They go, yeah, I'd love to. 40, 50 grand a year. Quit their job. Boom.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Assistant. Six months later, they're crushing it there. They're really good at finances. They're like, hey, Rudy, you want me to be your controller and do all your finances? I'm like, sure, great. Or they're really good at social media. They've been working with a video content team. It all starts with a decision.
Starting point is 00:15:15 You see how that compounds and snowballs? That's because they took the step out. They figured out, where's the winners? How do I get in the winner's room? What does it take to get in the winner's room then they took action they fought outside the box they did what everyone else all the sheep would have said is stupid and reckless quitting a job probably a job they got a degree in and had a hundred grand in debt for to go and be an assistant and clean floors six months later they're now working for a you know 10 2020 million startup under me. People pay me $100,000 to learn from me.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Now they're learning for free. They're surrounded by 100 other winners on a big mission. Imagine how someone's life would change if they made that one simple decision to step outside the norm, take the red pill, and build that life. You can do that. You can do exactly that. You can come and clean my floors and build that dream life being surrounded by winners okay all jokes aside you can see how that example could
Starting point is 00:16:11 actually come to light so you're going to do whatever it takes to be in the right rooms you're going to listen to the right people you're going to surround yourself with winners and you're going to find someone that's already done what you're trying to do and you combine that and that is going to give you way faster success than what you're doing now do. And you combine that and that is going to give you way faster success than what you're doing now. It's going to almost guarantee your success and it's going to get you in a place and a position in your life where you're continually thriving. You wake up every day excited because now your house cleans. You have an amazing house. You look at it as like something out on Instagram or a Pinterest, right? And you're proud of it. You invite your friends
Starting point is 00:16:43 over because you're proud of it. You get home and instead of binging Netflix and chilling out with fast food, you're now whiteboarding big ideas, right? That's how your life should be. That's how your life can be. And it's simple to start today and make those changes. I hope you enjoyed today's episode.
