Starting point is 00:00:00 Guys, what's up? Welcome back to another episode of Living the Red Life. I have a special episode today where I'm going to talk to you about my biggest focus this year, my biggest goals, my biggest focus, where my energy is going, and it's not going to be what you expect. My name is Rudy Moore, host of Living the Red Life podcast, and I'm here to change the way you see your life in your earpiece every single week. If you're ready to start living the red life, ditch the blue pill, take the red pill, join me in Wonderland and change your life. For the last few years, I've grown big brands. I've been part of massive, you know, X billion dollar takeovers. I've grown, you know, been part of companies growing towards 100 million. I've grown eight or nine of my
Starting point is 00:00:40 different businesses and entities to seven figures, so past the million mark. I grew my fitness company to about four or five million. I then grew my agency to about 10 million. And then I grew the Red Life and More Capital way past 10 million in just three years. But my big focus after operating all these brands, growing all these brands is now shifting. And it's not going to be where you expect. I'm going to dive in into this episode and explain why my energy and effort is shifting, why I think this is the best move for me personally, and then hopefully teach you and open your eyes to that world that's coming, why I'm making this major transition in my life. Something I never dreamed I would do, something when I was growing up as a kid. And even in the last few
Starting point is 00:01:25 years, it was never like a wishlist bucket item of mine. It was never a goal of mine. But I think it's a strategic move based on what I see the future. And I have a lot of proof behind it. And I see some other big guys in the space that are doing, you know, 50, 100 mil or even going past 100 mil, also making moves similar and making transitions into what I'm going to discuss in this episode. Now, here's the thing to think about. You get into marketing and building a business because you like entrepreneurship. You want to control your destiny. You want to take the red pill and live the red life, right? But when you get further and further into it, I think you realize that attention is everything, right? And the ability to influence
Starting point is 00:02:05 is everything. Five years ago, I don't know how long you're listening to this, how long you've been doing this. I've been selling online for like 15, 20 years on a serious level for like the last 10 years or so. And it's changing a lot, right? So I'll give you a bit of a history before I dive into this major transition of mine. But five years ago, or four, five, six years ago, you're able to come up with a product name, come up with an idea, come up with a funnel, build a landing page, start some Facebook ads, launch it, and it would generally do well, right? It would generally be successful if you had a really good strong hook, offer, positioning, guarantee, good ads, that sort of stuff. And there's a lot of people, I have many friends that have made millions to even tens of millions of dollars online and no one knew who
Starting point is 00:02:54 they were. They were like this hidden entity in the shadows creating these products, these landing pages, writing these long stories. You've probably seen them, right? We call them funnels in my world, these long 30-page landing pages where you're just scrolling and scrolling and scrolling. They've done very well. They've been, you know, in the world of direct response marketing, that's kind of what's been going on
Starting point is 00:03:16 for the last 10, 20, 30, 40 years. But everything's starting to change. And what I've learned in the last few years is five years ago, you could launch a brand, hire a good copywriter and start selling products, right, without a face. Or you could hire a doctor, pay him, you know, $2,000 a month, just do a few videos. But it's transitioning and that's harder and harder and harder to do. Now, don't get me wrong, some people still do it, but people nowadays want to buy from public figures.
Starting point is 00:03:45 People nowadays want to buy from brands. People nowadays want to buy from social media influencers and YouTube content creators. And if you look at someone like MrBeast, he got a billion dollar offer for his YouTube channel. If you don't know who he is, you should. Probably the biggest influencer and content creator in history. Younger than me, built built billion dollar plus brand someone i think said it was valued at 10 or 20 billion i don't
Starting point is 00:04:11 know how true that is but um probably way over a billion he rejected a billion dollar offer um and he's created the biggest influence on youtube right and he came out of not nowhere, but in the last five or six years. And now he has this like amazing fan base, tens, hundreds of millions of followers. And you also see it with celebrities, right? There's these celebrities, and I quote these a lot, where for 10, 20 years, they became an artist or a rapper or a movie star. You got people like Rihanna, Beats by Dre, right? Dr. Dre created Beats. You've got all of these actors and movie stars and rappers and artists where they're launching brands off their social influence, right? So I'm trying to explain for
Starting point is 00:04:57 you here, if you're following, right? Five, 10 years ago, you could just create nameless, faceless brands, right? With good products, good copy, good promises, good guarantees, you could run ads to it. Nowadays, the opposite is true. People even sell like not overly great products, but they have a crazy following, right? And you've got these influencers that do drop shipping or these influencers that do affiliate offers, and they're literally making millions and millions of dollars. And then you've got people like Rihanna, people like the Kardashians, people like, you know, Dre and creating beats where they're creating these billion dollar
Starting point is 00:05:36 empires in like four or five years because of the influence they created over the last 10 years, right? So the world is changing. And I don't know if you're looking that big picture. This is what this episode is about. And it's going to link to where my focus is going in a minute. But the world is changing, right? And what I'm trying to explain is, it's only just begun. It might not seem that way. You might be going, well, Rudy, for the last, you know, 10 years, social media has been big. For the last five years, social media has been big. And yes, it has, but everything takes time, right? The economic cycles take years and years and years and years. So it's going to take a long, long,
Starting point is 00:06:17 long time for it to actually truly change. So if you're listening to this episode today in 2023, you can still be one of the top 5% or one of the first in that 5% that's understanding this and making this change, right? And it's like real estate probably 100 years ago, or 50 years ago, or 70 years ago, right? And if you bought real estate on the ocean, or in Manhattan, or in London, or in Paris, you'd be worth a lot of money right now, okay? And that's the same with social media. Yes, there's massive influencers. Yes, it's noisy.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Yes, it's busy. But the world is still slowly changing. And the more you can build an actual influence and a brand, the better you're going to be in the next 10 or 20 years, okay? And for the last 10 years of my life, I didn't appreciate this as much because I was such a good marketer, and I making millions of dollars and building these funnels and greater copy and greater offer creation and greater ads. So I didn't have to necessarily need this. But now because the world's changing, I'm getting more and more success because the brand I've built
Starting point is 00:07:22 is strong and I'm really focused on it. And actually, all the copywriting marketing skills are getting a little less important. Now, don't get me wrong. If you're a great marketer, a great business operator, and a big influencer and have a lot of impact, that is the perfect storm. And that's gonna lead to where my vision and my future is, right?
Starting point is 00:07:42 But what I want you to understand today is if you have a brand new business, you have a business two years old, you have a business that's five years old, you've got to really, really now start to focus on the longevity of the brand. You've got to focus on how do I build this business that in five years, people are going to have a loyal tribe and following to me, right? How do I create a tribe, a community, a loyal following? Because if you're selling a supplement, you're not going to be able to just keep selling the supplement
Starting point is 00:08:12 because you have a good ad, right? Or a good copy or a good price or a unique product, right? In the next five years, you're going to get overtaken by a big influencer that has a tribe and a community that comes out of nowhere. And there's a lot of historical trends that show this. Dr. Axe in the supplement space, great example. Joe Rogan, great example. Major, major buyout, right, for his podcast because of the influence he created. There wasn't even a product behind it, right? Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a second. Before we go into the rest of this episode, I'm going to interrupt abruptly and just ask you one big favor. I hope you're getting a ton
Starting point is 00:08:49 of value, a ton of knowledge. I hope you're getting some breakthroughs from myself and the guests. And I want one thing in return. What I would love is for you to subscribe and leave a review. The reviews and the subscription grows the podcast. It allows me to bring you even better guests. It allows me to invest even more time and money into this podcast to bring you the latest and greatest, the best entrepreneurs from around the world that are crushing life, crushing their business, and giving you all the tools, the mindset hacks, the knowledge, and the environment you need to be successful. So do me a favor, if you've got any amount of value from today's episode so far, or any previous episode, or any of the content I've done,
Starting point is 00:09:28 it would mean the world to me if you hit a five-star review, give us your feedback on the show, the episodes, and subscribe and download. Plus, if you do that and send me a screenshot on Instagram, at RudyMoreLife, I will send you a bunch of my free training, marketing courses, sales courses worth $499. Yes, $500 worth of courses for a simple 30 second review. It would mean the world to me. Send me that screenshot.
Starting point is 00:09:54 I would love for you to leave that review and I would appreciate it very, very much so we can keep growing this show and make it awesome. So let's get back into the episode. I appreciate you guys and let's dive back in. So there's a lot of these examples of channels that don't have products, Mr. Beast, Joe Rogan, there's a lot of examples of companies that they don't sell anything crazy different. Dr. Axe sells supplements just like anyone else. But over the line, and I know him from the fitness world, he became super big because of how he built his brand and his authority and his tribe, right? So how do you create the tribe? How do you create influence, right? How do you create a brand?
Starting point is 00:10:32 And for some of you, you've never thought about doing this. For some of you, you're not good at social media. For some of you, you go, I don't want to be the face of the brand. And that's okay. You just need to know it's important so you can build a company around it. Maybe you bring in an influencer, you bring in a face of the brand, you partner with someone,
Starting point is 00:10:48 you make some of your members the faces of the brand and the tribe. And the summary of this like last five, 10 minutes for you is look, influence, attention, social media is gonna dictate the future. It's gonna dictate the presidential elections.'s going to dictate the presidential elections. It's going to dictate what we buy. It's going to dictate what we invest in.
Starting point is 00:11:11 It's going to dictate the sports world. It's going to dictate the movies, right? It's going to dictate new product launches. It's going to dictate billion-dollar Fortune 500 brands that have been the world's most dominant brands for 20 30 years it's going to disrupt everything it's literally going to disrupt everything because there's going to be a community of influencers and social brands that will dominate the world and what they say collectively will influence the world okay and what i want you to understand is it's not happening
Starting point is 00:11:44 overnight it's like it's a constant thing right it's not happening overnight. It's like, it's a constant thing, right? It's been happening for the last 10 years, which is why I say it's already started. But big, large shifts in behavior take generations, right? So in the next, you know, you've got to imagine the children that are five years old, 10 years old, 12 years old today. Think about it. If you have kids, you have nieces, nephews, you have friends that have kids. I don't have kids, but I have a lot of staff that have kids, right? And whenever I speak to them, all they tell me about is they spend all day on an iPad, on YouTube, watching their favorite influencers, right? So that generation, right,
Starting point is 00:12:22 it's not come to life quite yet because they're eight years old, 10 years old, 12 years old. But imagine them in 10, 15 more years, right? Who are they going to buy from? Who are they going to vote in a presidential election for, right? How are they going to make decisions? They're basically going to make them based on their mentors, right? That they listen to every single day on YouTube and on social media. We grew up, right? I'm 31 years old. We grew up watching TV. I remember when I was a kid, I had five channels on TV, right? So we didn't really have that as much. We grew up watching TV, movies, blah, blah, blah. And obviously we had our favorite rappers and artists and actors, but we didn't grow up on
Starting point is 00:13:02 YouTube or on Instagram, right? They are, okay? So the shift is going to still take another 10 years to be in full effect. So have a think about that, right? And obviously it's starting now with some of the kids that are 20 years old, right? That 10 years ago they were doing that. So how can I use that to plan my future? How can I use that for the next 10 years of my life to create brands, to create wealth, to create entrepreneurship, right? And then this links into how I opened this episode with where is my focus, where is my shift, where is my attention? And it's not what you expect. And you've probably guessed it by now, right? But my shift, my energy, and my focus is becoming a mainstream name,
Starting point is 00:13:43 a public figure, right? And I, yeah, I didn't grow up as a kid saying I wanted to move to LA. I want to become an actor. I want to be famous. I've never said I want to be famous because I want to be a celebrity. But in the last couple of years, in the last maybe five years, I've seen so many people with a crazy following and I've helped many of them make millions and millions and millions of and I've helped many of them make millions and millions and millions of dollars, but a lot of them aren't good operators. They're not good business owners.
Starting point is 00:14:10 They can't control their emotion. They're in and out. And it's always sat with me. I'm like, huh, imagine if I had those 10 million followers and that tribe, right? And obviously if you're listening, you're probably part of my tribe and probably a fan and I appreciate you supporting me and being part of this community.
Starting point is 00:14:28 But now I want to blow it up and make it worldwide. I want to blow it up and make it 10, 20, 100 times, 1,000 times bigger, right? And I want to expand my tribe and my community and my following from you that probably found me through marketing, through business, through entrepreneurship. And I want to expand it worldwide. I want to become a public figure because for many reasons, right? But mostly for what I just explained, I see that as the future of wealth generation. I see that like owning a bunch of real estate, right? Like 50 years ago, if you bought up all the land on the ocean here in the beach, right? And if you bought all the land in Manhattan in
Starting point is 00:15:05 Times Square, you'd be worth billions of dollars, right? But I see it the same now. If I buy up all that social media space and I have 20, 30, 40 million followers and I become a public figure, I now own that, right? And as long as I'm good to my community, good to my tribe, I give value, I help support people and make the world a better place. That is the secret to building massive companies, right? Especially in my world, right? Which is the influence, the marketing, the money, the success world, right? So how can you do that for yourself? That's where my focus is. How am I going to get there? I'm doing lots of things right now. You're probably asking, well, what's the plan, Rudy? How do I do this? Well, my plan is, you know, I'm launching, I launched this podcast,
Starting point is 00:15:48 right? I'm launching books. I'm doing a TV show that's going to air on Amazon Prime next year. I'm doing a lot with celebrities. I'm working with a lot of celebrities and partnering with them and growing their businesses and becoming friends with them. And that's expanding me into that Hollywood circle, right? I'm taking trips to Los Angeles and Vegas and New York where all that world of influence exists and Miami twice a month right now, right? So I'm building a plan and it's not an overnight thing. I'm building a plan for expansion, right? It's like I'm building a plan to buy all the land on the seaside, on the ocean, on the beaches, right? I'm building that plan right now and starting the process of that global expansion and that global influence, right? And you might not have the goals like me to become
Starting point is 00:16:35 a public figure and well, not super famous or anything, but you should take what I'm saying today into consideration for building your own, you know, your own wealth generation plan, right? And if you're selling stuff on the internet, if you're into social media, start taking it more seriously, right? I think for the last 10 years, people saw it as a bit of a fad. They saw social media influencers, ah, that won't last, that'll go away. Even I kind of thought a bit of that. I'm like, ah, people don't take it seriously. But like, I can tell you from experience, and I'm not obviously famous, but I'm more famous
Starting point is 00:17:09 than most people in this industry. Having a blue check, having 400,000 followers, having a million followers in my fitness business, my old business, hanging out with celebrities and being a public figure in the marketing world has given me many big, big deals, many million dollar deals, many big, big opportunities that you could have got, but you didn't get, I got instead because I'm seen as a well-known character in this space, right?
Starting point is 00:17:38 So, and I'm not saying that to like put you down or brag, I wanna really hammer home to you, like, hey, you might have something great inside you. Hey, you might be amazing at what you do. Hey, you might have a great product, a great service. But the thing that's missing for you is the ability to grab attention, to hold attention and to influence people. Right. And that is where the money is going to go. The money is going to follow people that can do exactly that. They can hold attention. They can grab attention. They have mass influence, right? And it's like, how do you create this? And I guarantee it's literally going to dictate presidential elections.
Starting point is 00:18:14 It's going to dictate politics. It's going to dictate sporting events. It's going to dictate big brands, billion dollar brands. It's going to dictate major exits. It's going to help dictate Wall Street. In 20 years, social media influencers are the next celebrities. They're the movie stars of today, right? So how can you create a mini version of that in your industry for yourself? Like I said, you might not want to be Hollywood famous, but when I say become famous, how do you become a famous person in your authority space, right? So if you're become famous, how do you become a famous person in your authority space, right? So if you're a lawyer, how do you become famous in your local city, right? Because let's face it, you all know that famous attorney, right? In the city, the most famous attorney in the city, big law firm makes crazy money. You all know the famous doctor in the city. You all know the famous
Starting point is 00:19:03 actor in the city. You all know the famous social media influencer in that city, right? So how in your space do you become that famous or one of the famous people in that space, right? So if you sell personal training in a small town, right? Say you're in Missouri. How do you become the go-to person in that space, right? And obviously, if it's a small town, you might have to go online. So then how do I go online now and I do vegan personal training, vegan weight loss?
Starting point is 00:19:33 How do I become the number one authority for vegan weight loss in the world? Because I guarantee if you became the number one vegan authority in the world for weight loss and you knew how to run businesses sell products create partnership you'd probably be worth 10 20 30 40 million dollars right so it's like how do you do it in your space and generally to start you'll go a little nicher right so you might you won't go hey i want to be an a-list you'll go more in your space and then like so i started in facebook ads became known as one of the top Facebook ad experts spoke on hundreds of stages my name would pop up in groups when people said Facebook ads I'd get
Starting point is 00:20:11 introed as a top Facebook ad person and then I got broader into marketing right and then I got seen as one of the top marketers in the world celebrity marketer worked with all the big people and now I'm going bigger again how do I go into general like entrepreneurship, making money, creating your dream life, which is all what the red life's about, taking the red pill and building that dream life with the internet, right? How do I do that? That's what I'm working on. And part of it is expanding my influence. Part of it is creating products and services that supports the people with those goals, right? And then part of it is leveraging other people's influence that already has that population, right? That demographic to expedite that process, right?
Starting point is 00:20:52 Because time's against us, right? To achieve any of this time's against us. So hopefully you're still with me. I know I gave you a lot there. I probably shifted your thinking and a lot of what I just shared today has been like my thought pattern over the last year. And I've really been like slowly building on it. So I know it's a lot to take in today. And again, I get you're not going to become the next big
Starting point is 00:21:14 celebrity. But I want you to take this to heart. I want you to understand where the world's going. I want you to understand where my attention's going. And I want you to start thinking, how do I take this more seriously? And stay great at marketing, stay great at creating great products, be good at running businesses, but try and add in more of that social influence, that social impact. And one last thing I'll leave you with, which I tell all my members that pay me, you know, join my masterminds and stuff. I said, just go and Google yourself, go and Google yourself, go on your social media profile right now. Okay. You're going to, you know, finish this episode, leave me a review, subscribe. If you've not already, I would really appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:21:58 And then I want you to go and Google yourself, search yourself on social media and say, if I was a potential customer, what would I do right now? Okay. Then you're going to say, well, if I was a potential customer wanting to buy the highest tier program, a 50K, a 20K program, what'd I buy? Say if I was an investor that was going to give you a million dollars to fund you to go to 10 million, what'd I give you that million dollars right now? If I was a rockstar employee that wanted to come and work for you because you said you were great, but I got 20 other offers on the table. I got an offer from Rudy. I got an offer from Grant Cardone. I got an offer from Mr. Beast.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Would I come and take that offer from you or from those other people, okay? Have a think how that is gonna affect your future, right? And if you're sat there right now Googling yourself or you're sat there thinking about it and it's a bit uncomfortable, I'll end the episode right there because that's the point of today's episode. Whether you like it or not, social media, what someone reads on Google about you, what someone pulls up on your Instagram is going to dictate your future.
Starting point is 00:23:03 It's happening right now, this second, with all of those scenarios I just explained. And you can control that future. You can control it. You can start today. And a year from now, you can have a much, much stronger brand presence. You can build a great community and you can position yourself as a leading brand or authority in your space, which is an amazing first step. And it's going to drastically increase the speed you grow your brand. It's going to drastically increase the speed you grow your brand. It's going to drastically increase the people you hire. It's going to drastically increase the amount of opportunity and partnerships you create. And it's going to get you guys to that next level. Okay. So I hope this hit home. I want you to go Google yourself, pull your social media up.
Starting point is 00:23:40 I want you to take action today. And I'm excited for you to join me on my journey of improving that social brand, that influence, and keep living the red life. So until next time, take care, guys. Start growing that social brand today. And I'll see you on the next episode. Until then, keep living the red life. Take care. Ladies and gentlemen.
