Starting point is 00:00:00 My advice to the villain is to figure out your purpose, figure out what you're here for, go on a self-discovery journey of who you really are and why you are who you are. Like, why do you have that inside of you? Why do you feel that? It's probably part of your purpose. It's something you can help other people with because like you said, there's a whole bunch. There's a whole market for it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:21 So I would say start with a self-discovery journey and really figure out like, who am I? People are making money off of fear, making money off of anger. it works. Yeah. People are hustling. How do you navigate that energy and still be genuine to yourself and prosper through positivity and affirmation and love? I think it starts with...
Starting point is 00:00:41 My name's Rudy Moore, host of Living the Red Life podcast, and I'm here to change the way you see your life in your earpiece every single week. If you're ready to start living the red life, ditch the blue pill, take the red pill, join me in Wonderland and change your life. Welcome to another episode of the Living Your Legacy podcast. the Women in Power edition. For Insight Success, I am Ray Gutierrez. Joining me today as Tessini Layer.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Such a great, cool-ass name. Luckily for all of us, she's running a coaching program. Yes. Welcome to the show. Thank you. I'm so excited to be here. You're vibed full of energy. Something tells me that we just finished filming your episode for Women in Power.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Yes. How do you feel? I feel so good. That was so much fun. Right on. I was worried about how, like if I just had to sit there and speak and you're such a good I'm going to forget stuff. We're going circles, but you're such a good lead with that.
Starting point is 00:01:36 Oh, right on. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. Yeah, yeah. Right on. You were such a great person in the chair to speak about yourself. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:01:42 What will we learn in your episode? Give us a preview. So we talk about how to manifest and remove money blocks and create just a magical life for yourself and also just roadblocks and how to navigate them and how they actually are good for us to form us into who it is that we're here to be. Hell yeah. All right. Let's talk about, let's talk about metasting first.
Starting point is 00:02:04 But a good metastor is always a good storyteller. East Coast born, Miami, West Coast born. Talk about your fairy tale life that I would tune in and watch every Friday night between saved by the bell, full house. Like I grew up watching television that was centered around your upbringing. Right. Tell us more. So I was born in Ventura, California.
Starting point is 00:02:26 It's like a little beach town in California. And then my dad owned a restaurant in Pasadena and he lived in West Hollywood and I spent all my weekends there. Fuck yeah. And I know. It's an awful story to talk about and I don't realize how cool. You really should be like West Hollywood, dude, yeah. I know. I know grit and grime.
Starting point is 00:02:47 And my daughter actually moved there when she was like 16 or 17. She was like they were both born in Washington and my oldest daughter was like, I'm going to tell. I need sunshine. I was like, I get it. Absolutely. Yeah, a lot of that energy that I discovered when I moved out to the West Coast is something that is not very prevalent in Miami,
Starting point is 00:03:05 at least in the 80s and 90s. It's very, very prevalent now, which is interesting to see that energy come from Austin, the Bay, L.A., New York, even Eastern Europe. Like, there's all this crazy energy that's being manifested in Miami. It almost feels like it was actually me all this time
Starting point is 00:03:21 in my room going, Miami needs to be cooler. Now we're technically in the future because it's 20, Yeah, but they're still not flying cars yet. I think we're close. Folks hear this and go, ah, some West Coast foo-foo stuff. I'm like, dude, it's everywhere.
Starting point is 00:03:34 It is everywhere. And it's really like, I think it sounds woo because it's like, oh, think positive and stuff's going to happen. But that's not all of it. You have to take action. You can't just go, I want a million dollars and expect it to show up on your doorstep. And it just fell to door door doorstep. As I wasn't going to play the rain shower.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I knocked her backup mic. Did my screen crack? No, and it's 1122. Yay! That's a good omen. Magic. Magic. Carry on.
Starting point is 00:04:02 So I think that's what people miss is they think, oh, it's just woo-woo, because you can't just wish something there and have it show up. Sure. But it's not. It's about having a positive outlook, having clarity on what it is that you want, understanding there will be roadblocks, being able to navigate the roadblocks, and then taking action. You have to do your part, and then the universe carries you over the finish line.
Starting point is 00:04:22 For sure. It's funny because you grew up in a very nice. normal, healthy upbringing, but that doesn't mean that you, you know, you still face some trauma. Yeah. You were married to alcoholics. You faced some darkness. You stared the shadow right in the face and goes, ha, F you. Talk about that.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Okay. In my earlier years, I probably created most of my own trauma just through, you know, I'm an experiencer. Like, I want to try everything. I don't want to feel left out. I'm kind of like a trailblazer, but even with bad things. Like I was like, I just need to try it. all my friends would be like, we're worried about you. And I'm like, oh, come on. You know,
Starting point is 00:04:58 and I just keep going. But it ended up working out for me in my adult life because I kept that same energy for positive. There's a lot of negative out there that's very noisy, the frequency. And folks are monetizing on it. It's product market fit. People are making money off of fear, making money off of anger. It works. Yeah. People are hustling. How do you navigate that energy and still be genuine to yourself and prosper through positivity and affirmation and love? Yeah, I mean, I think it starts with self-love because when you love yourself, you don't worry about it's someone judging me or somebody saying things about me or it's like, if I told you your eyes were purple, you'd be like, okay, psycho. Like it wouldn't affect you because you know he's wrong. Right?
Starting point is 00:05:41 But when you're not sure about who you are and you think like, oh gosh, maybe my eyes are purple, then you start to get self-conscious about, you know, so really like a strong self-understanding of who I am, why I'm here. and just loving even like the not perfect parts of myself. Sure, for sure. You've coached and been mentored by some great folks. I kind of want you to name drop, but I also want you to make that correlation to your religion and how it all kind of like connects together and you've essentially created your own Holy Trinity
Starting point is 00:06:10 and sort of monetized it. Talk about that experience. So I was raised Christian with my mom, and there's some great teachings in that. I think that every religion is great for the person who's experiencing. it. I think at the end of the day, it's all the same thing just with different man-made stuff on top of it. But whatever feels good to you and makes you like in that place is the right thing for
Starting point is 00:06:35 you. So as I journeyed out of the Christian church, I tried, I went to the Buddhist temple and I try the Gnostic religion. So did Jesus. Yeah, right. I know. I just tried all these different things. And I was like, gosh, there's so much that I believe in each one. He walked around for 30 years going I know. I just don't want any rules. That's what I can't do with organized religion. It's like, don't tell me what to do. Yeah, Lucifer and Hammer in the middle of the desert are going, can you believe this? Jayce and Luther were like, bro. Oh, I can't do it.
Starting point is 00:07:05 What am I doing now? You gotta do this thing. Give it again. Again. When will I ever learn? So that, I mean, that just kind of pushed me away from organized religion because I was like, don't tell me this is going to happen to me if I do this. Like, I don't do good with fear, you know. So after that, I started really reading the secret and understanding manifesting. And that led me into Tony Robbins, who has been like a huge inspiration for me for years. But he led me to Dan Martel, who's now my coach, who is like, he's just incredible. Like, he took my mind to a totally different level.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I thought I was a big dreamer. And then I met Dan and I'm like, whoa, there's so much more I could do. Yeah, I take moments of reflection where the last eight months, I've seen. and interviewed so many legacy makers, women in power, just so many energies, so many entrepreneurs and so many different levels of their journey where I'm like, I feel like I'm on my fifth ascension, so you hear it? Yes. And I'm just like, wow, I have like the fellowship of 300 entrepreneurs that have downloaded
Starting point is 00:08:08 all this data into me. I go, okay, I guess I'm up to bat. What do you tell to someone like me that is a fresh soul that is onboarded onto your coaching program? Well, it depends on what you want to work on. So I guess clarity and what it is that you want because I have struggled with being like niche because I can help with so much. I've been through so much. I've trained under so many amazing people other than Tony Robbins and Dea Martel in the spiritual world.
Starting point is 00:08:36 I've trained Reese, San Agustine. And then I've had Mommy on Ami is one of my people on Instagram that I work with. And there's just all these really cool people that have taught me so much. So now I can help you with spirituality. manifesting or being a business owner and I can help you with business and relationships. You know, I've been through hell in relationships and people come up to my husband and I all the time in public and they're like, you two have the best energy. And it's like, we'll just be sitting there and just randomly a stranger will come over. But it's like everyone deserves that.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Like everyone deserves to have that kind of. He's my biggest supporter. Like I couldn't do what I do if I didn't have someone that believed in me like that, you know. Yeah, I'm sure your neighbors are the lucky as folks on the planet just to have you guys, you guys are very vibrant. So I'm here to attest it, like, Homeboy's sitting right there. And it's just, it's just been great vibes the entire time. But I got to attest to that, to the West Coast water. There's something magical about the west coast of the West Coast of the East Coast, where you think of Miami, New York, you think of a lot of, like, anger. Like, you think of, like, the Caribbean islands that have gone through hell and back, and they're just immigrants. There's this energy in Miami that's been always
Starting point is 00:09:42 angry. You can see it in our traffic. Yeah. What do you talk to folks like me that go, hmm, I'm more of an antagonist and you're more of a protagonist. Yeah. There is a lot of folks speaking to antagonists. If I want to be coached by you and I go, well, I want to create your program, but twist it for the antagonists. It's the same voice of the Holy Savior Christ, but it's told in a different light. What do you tell to someone like me and go, there's a whole market out there? How do we talk to them?
Starting point is 00:10:09 Yeah. Coach me. Okay. So antagonist, more like you feel, we just explain. what you mean by that? Everyone always celebrates the supervillain. Okay, okay, okay. It's time to celebrate the supervillain because there's a reason why that MFR is pacing up and down the haunt, and staring out that window.
Starting point is 00:10:26 What's that man thinking about? Yeah, okay, okay. So I think that, I don't know, I still think everyone deserves to be happy. And I think you can be happy as an antagonist, right? Absolutely. Yeah, yeah. But happiness is a luxury where I come from. Yes.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Remember, east coast, west coast. Yes. And I get that. But I even think, like, I mean, the people I talk to me, mostly at this point or on the West Coast. And I mean, even we're just like walking through the airport and everyone looks upset and angry and they're fighting. Because they're creating it in their own.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Yeah. And I think when you pull yourself outside of it, you just look around and go, is anyone even happy? Like, what is going on? And then when you ask what would make you happy? They're like, I don't know. I'm just not, you know? So I guess to go back to your question, I think it's deciding what you want.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Yes. Getting clarity, which I keep like drilling. Like clarity is so important for all of this. but also, I mean, is the villain negative? No. Okay. It's not negative. It's just a name.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Yeah, it's just a villain. Okay. It's just anti-go-togatigative. It's just energy. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Because I just think the-
Starting point is 00:11:30 Villain is just a dramatization. We created it to tell a story. Okay, okay. But it's the story of the positive, the negative, going, I want this way, going that way. Yeah. Okay. So then I guess my advice to the villain is to figure out your purpose,
Starting point is 00:11:44 figure out what you're here for. go on a self-discovery journey of who you really are and why you are who you are? Like, why do you have that inside of you? Why do you feel that? It's probably part of your purpose. It's something you can help other people with because like you said, there's a whole bunch, there's a whole market for it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:02 So I would say start with a self-discovery journey and really figure out like, who am I? Sure. Talk about manifestation. Let's go right back to your source of power. And how can someone be aware that they are a wizard? you're a wizard Harry like great power comes with great responsibility those cues that
Starting point is 00:12:20 artists have left in movies and books and poems those the hey wake up yes what's your cue what what is a way for you to wake up someone that's watching this and then go wait a minute I'm a lot like her yeah holy shit she's right yeah so look at the life
Starting point is 00:12:36 that you're experiencing it is a direct result of the words that you say the thoughts that you have the programming that you have and if there's something that you want to be different. That's what you change. You undo the programming. You tell yourself a new story.
Starting point is 00:12:51 In fact, my first coaching company was rewrite with Tess because it was like rewrite your story. And it was all about like, how do we just tell a new story? And I think when you start telling yourself a new story and create a new story, like that was just your last chapter. What's the next chapter? He just took it to the next level. He just built the theme park.
Starting point is 00:13:09 He was, I'm just going to let him build it. Yes. Yeah. But I just think that you can, whatever you want it to be, you just have to change like the feeling behind it. The feeling is huge because you can't just say, I'm happy. Like, that's not going to work. What do you talk? What do you say about to the super eccentrics that took it to the next level like the Michael Jackson's of the world that built the fairyland?
Starting point is 00:13:29 That built it all, even, even was persecuted because he was just a little too eccentric. Yeah. What do you talk about to those folks that are no longer here? Like the David Bowies, the real stars. Like what do I think of them as far as manifesting goes? As a matter of fact, yes, because they're essentially projects of the manifestation. And they literally built it or created alter egos depending on an album. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Ziggy Stardust is not David Bowie. No, yes. And I think that to them, it's like those are inspiration. Like that's how big manifesting can be. Oh, yeah. All of us have that inside of us. All of us can unlock that and create anything that we want to create. For sure.
Starting point is 00:14:06 We just have to allow ourselves to dream bigger, allow ourselves to believe we deserve it, allow ourselves to love ourselves into that. And I just think they're a great inspiration for what's possible. Awesome. How can folks find you, discover you and learn more about you? So probably most of what I do is on Instagram, which is Tesne underscore Leher, L-A-Y-H-E-R. And also Tessenelear.com, you can sign up for my coaching community. And if you're in Maple Valley, Washington, you can come into our crystal shop, clear, calm, and balanced. I love it. Just hang out at the crystal shop. Yes. It's such a great moment, such a great morning with you. Is there anything else you'd like to add? I call it the sour sweet spot. So it's when you're like,
Starting point is 00:14:52 I believe this is going to happen. You're putting everything in. You've reprogrammed like you're thinking and you're thinking more positive and just like you think you're doing everything right. And then everything falls apart. Yep. And you're like, what? This doesn't work. Like everything's ruined. So in the tarot deck, the tower comes before the start. And the tower is representation of everything falling apart so that it can be put back together the way that you want it to be. So you're asking the universe to change your life, but you don't understand that you can't keep doing what you're doing in order to have the life that you want. You have to change. Like you have to be broken down and rebuilt.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Your life has to be broken down and rebuilt. And so when the sour sweet spot hits, I tell people like, they'll be like, everything's ruined. And everything's going bad. I'm like, is it sour sweet spot? You know what it is if you've been doing everything. And then right, you know, it's the right before the miracle. Don't give up five seconds before the miracle. The emotional intelligence to pivot to a situation like that has really want to know how long does it take now that sour spot.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Is it five months, five days, or even five years? So that's where I feel like the real math comes into play where it's like, can you sit still for five years and know that greatness is coming? Yeah, yeah. Because if you can sit still still for five to seven years and know that it's coming, then you fucking deserve it. Yeah, you absolutely too. But I think if you want to go even like more weird, like time's an illusion, right? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:14 So, I mean, it takes as ever however long you think it's going to take. The only thing that's similar to every single dimension, every single light source or is just gravity. Yeah. The only thing that transpires through light of that everything is just gravity. Yeah. That time is just an illusion. It's all compressed. Totally.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Yeah. Yeah. My ultimate theory is that we're actually dying, we're actually living the moments right before we die. But life moves so fast. and the seed of light that God created a brain to slow it down to a point where it's called life. But we had it. It's what this. And we're just.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Exactly. That was it. That makes sense. And I just died. And I'm back. Here we are. And I'm back. And I'm back.
Starting point is 00:16:55 That was it.
