We've never seen an old school coach evolve as quickly as Dabo Sweeney has over the past few months.
First, Dabo starts taking transfers and now he's recruiting players to change sports.
You are locked on ACC, your daily podcast on the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Part of the Locked on podcast network, your team every day.
Shout out to the everydayers and thank you so much for making Lockdown ACC your first listen and your first watch.
free wherever you get your podcast. We're free on YouTube. We're part of the Lockdown Podcast Network,
your team every day. He is Kenton Gibbs from Lockdown Wolfpack. I am Alex Dono from Locked on
Keynes. We will talk some Bill Belichick on this episode. However, Kenton and I have unanimously voted
on this two to nothing. We're tired of talking about Jordan Hudson. And the judge talked about it
enough this week. On our Tuesday episode, we talked about it on the squad. Like, we've had enough of
the Jordan Hudson stuff. So we're going to talk some actual ball. Unfortunately, we have to talk about
an ACC alum having to medically retire from football way too soon. Jordan Travis, former Florida
State standout, has had to hang it up. We'll talk about why and what it means. But let's talk
some Clemson football, Kenton.
They're making headlines today.
So Ian Shefflin, big man from the Clemson basketball team, six foot eight.
He does have some background playing football, but you got to go back to his high school
days up to 10th grade and he played quarterback, which is not what we would expect him to do.
But there's a lot of buzz that Ian Shefflin is going to be switching sports from basketball to
football.
So, I mean, first of all, Kenton, you played football at a higher level.
than I did, and most any of us listening to this.
You played defensive line at NC State.
How do you see Ian Shefflin as someone who may be able to make that transition?
Well, you know, I don't have enough information to fully go all in and say like, oh, this is who he is.
This is his athletic profile and all that.
What I will say is this.
Clemson is very tight and friendly for the things that he'll be asked to do.
Jake Brenningstool was not asked to do a ton of blocking as like, hey, you're going to be our lead guy.
You're going to be point of attack.
We're running power right behind you type of guy.
So that plays in the Sheplands favor.
And the other thing is, you know, there's always the Jimmy Graham and Moe Alley Cox thing where it's like, hey, these guys never play football to play football very limited in terms of just in general in their lives and it went into this thing.
And that's possible. There have also been guys that have not. There have also been guys that, you know, that have not had their success. So anything that you get from Ian Sheffle, I don't think that he's a guy where you're looking at him and saying, we're expecting 60 catches, 800 yards out of you. That's not going to be the case. Obviously, this is an experimental thing. See how it works out. See how he reacts to this thing. Because the biggest thing, I tell people all the time, a vast majority of sports.
are more skilled than football in general, in general, right?
If you can run fast, if you can catch a ball, if you can do all those things,
you'll have a place on a football team.
It's not the skill part of it that makes football difficult.
You have to be a different kind of individual to see somebody anywhere from college
linebackers now, I want to say about 210 to 235,
coming at you full speed and he's trying to separate you from the ball.
And you say, I'm going to make the choice.
Body be damned.
I'm going to cast this ball.
So, you know, it's a different, it's a very different thing in terms of the stuff
that would get you a flavor to in basketball gets you and had a boy in football.
It's a different game.
It's just very different.
The level of physicality and the toughness that Shepleyn will need to get right away,
is very high level.
But if he can match those things, it'll be fine.
You know, when I first started to see these reports,
I was a little bit confused as to how this can even happen.
And here's what I've gathered.
So Ian Shefflin, who's played four years of basketball at Clemson,
I used to understand how eligibility worked.
Nobody understands it anymore.
So like he's used up his basketball eligibility.
However, he was, and I guess officially is still in the basketball transfer portal.
because he's awaiting a possible judge's ruling that may or may not happen to grant players a fifth year of eligibility.
So we don't know for sure if that's going to happen or not, right?
But then we come to find out if he switches sports, he's got extra eligibility for a different sport.
So the basketball eligibility, from what I understand, will not count against football eligibility.
And gosh, Kenton, if you knew that was the case, you'd probably be still at NC State.
you to switch sports every four years and get that NIL money.
Let me throw on my thingling and go play for Coach Pop.
Let's get down the dirty on the wrestling match, baby.
I got single legs and some double leg for you.
All this NIL money, they got rolling around now.
I got to get in on that.
No, but in all seriousness, you know,
he's pulling the Cam McCormick just without the engine.
He said, I'm going to be in college eight, nine years.
It's going to get hurt in order to do it.
No, but in all seriousness, this is an interesting loophole that I think might need to be closed.
I don't like it.
I don't like it at all.
I don't, you know, I'm a big believer in, hey,
when you start, you start.
Play all the sports you want while you're there,
but when you start, you start.
And when it's over, it's over.
You know, go ahead, jump on LinkedIn, hop on Indeed,
do what you got to do, but, you know, stop the madness of,
I can set my clock back.
I'll just go from football, or I'll just go from basketball to football,
and then from football to rowing,
and then from rowing to field hockey,
or no, no, that's women only,
lacrosse and, you know, knock it off.
Well, and in this case, you know,
this is a basketball player,
at least like he's got football experience.
Again, he played quarterback in high school,
and I don't expect he's going to be, you know,
taking that starting quarterback job at Clemson.
So you're probably looking at most, like tight end
would make the most sense,
because you're talking about six foot eight,
physical, scrappy.
Jefflin says he's got good hands.
So, you know, maybe he can make that transition.
And again, like I, I've, we've seen players make it.
I mean, everybody talks about Antonio Gates.
You know, I was covering Miami.
I had just graduated from Miami and was covering the program when Jimmy
Graham, who was a basketball player at Miami, made that transition to
tight end.
And he was, he was, he only played tight end for one year at Miami.
But it was, you know, good enough to get him off to the NFL where he
polish his game. He was just a little bit
kind of scrappy and you could see
he was making the transition the one year at Miami
but made some big plays and he parlayed
that into a massive NFL
career. So that transition
from basketball to tight end
in football, not everybody does
it successfully, but there are some awesome
success stories out there with Tony Gonzalez
as being another one.
Well, I think, and this is the thing, right?
I give credit to the Jimmy Graham's
and Mo Ali Cox's of the world because they came from
like no football background.
are very limited football.
Yeah.
And, Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez are a little bit different.
Both of those guys were recruited to college to play football.
By the way, of all the people in America who could have recruited Antonio Gates,
I bet you'll never guess who was the Michigan State coach that recruited him there to play football.
Was that before?
Nick Saban.
Oh, I was going to guess Dan Antonio, but I didn't really.
Yeah, so Nick, wow, so that was when Saban was still there.
Nick Saban recruited him to play football.
football at Michigan State.
So it wasn't like Antonio Gates and some slouts that was like,
oh yeah, I played a little bit of football at high school.
You know, I got on the field every now and then.
No, it was a bad, no.
It's the same thing with Tony G.
He was a bad man.
And it just happened to do a little bit of hooping.
But he was, you know, everybody knew.
Tony G going to make his money on the grid hour.
So, you know, again, I wish Mr. Sheffler the best.
I really do think this could work out for him.
I have always said, and I'm very honest about the fact,
it is much easier to go from basketball to football than it is football to basketball, exponentially
easier.
That is, however, neither is easy.
They're both hard.
It's like, which is harder, right?
The 100 men versus a gorilla or pushing Cisyphist's boulder up here.
Like, they're both really hard.
It's just one of them is a lot more impossible of a task than the other.
Yeah, no.
Well, well said. And maybe the stars will align here because you mentioned Jake Brinningstool earlier, who was the star tight end at Clemson. He's off to the NFL.
They do have a lot of scholarship tight ends of like varying, you know, levels, but they have five scholarship tight ends at Clemson.
But I've heard one of them might move to defensive end this year. So it seems like a spot could come open here. And the stars may align.
When we come back, I feel so terrible about this because, you know, when we saw this guy get injured.
2023, it was in November of
2023, that Jordan Travis injury was so happy
for him when he got his opportunity
to sign with the New York Jets.
But unfortunately, he's had to call it a career.
Calls the end of the career before it even really started.
Let's talk about Jordan Travis when we come back.
You want to keep it locked right here.
We're only getting started on locked on ACC.

listen in your first watch today.
You know, Kent and Gibbs seeing Jordan Travis this week having to medically retire from
football, it's just such, I think, a reminder when you're out there playing a dangerous
game like this one, you never know which hit, which injury is going to be the last one
you take and cherish every moment.
I mean, Jordan Travis, of course, part of a Florida state team in 2023.
that, you know, went 13 and 0, should have gotten into the college football playoff, didn't.
You know, he would have had to miss that.
Probably the reason why they didn't get in in the first place was he had suffered that injury.
But to think that in that awesome season that the Seminoles had, for his career now to come to an end because of a cheap hit that he took against North Alabama, I mean, that makes this even harder to stomach now that he's had to retire.
You know, it's unfortunate.
It really is.
But moments like this are why you will never hear me talking down about players seeking bigger money elsewhere.
Why you'll never hear me talk about players as selfish or greedy for saying, hey, I need to maximize my value as much as I can while it's here.
because I'm not going to say that Jordan Travis necessarily made anybody a millionaire or anything like that.
But without Jordan Travis, I think we both agree that team doesn't go 13.
Correct.
No.
Correct.
Okay.
So without Jordan Travis, Norville doesn't get an extension that or the bonuses that he did.
And, and without Jordan.
and Travis in that 13 and no season, do you think that he gets a long enough leash to go two
and 10 and just gets to reshuffle the day?
Great point.
No, he doesn't get that leash.
No.
And he tore his leg up against who now?
North Alabama.
Hmm.
You know, this is why I will never.
I don't care how many players abuse it.
I don't care how many players don't do the right thing by it.
as a guy who had to medically retire myself,
I can tell you there are plenty of aspects of this thing.
Obviously, there's the injury and, you know,
you're not being able to play the game you love part of it.
But the other part of it is just literally, people forget,
you're still a human after you walk off that field.
When I taught both of my echelics,
I can't run and jump like I used to.
I'll never be able to again.
That's not, I can still run.
I can still jump.
I just not anywhere near that.
Jordan Travis said his leg has not reacted the way that they wanted it to to treatment.
We don't know what that means.
We don't know if he's stuck with a permanent limp.
We don't know if it's like every time it gets cold outside, his ankle gets inflamed,
and he can, we don't know what that means.
So again, this moment right here is why I'm so passionate
about these players getting paid because again,
making guys millionaires or putting extra money,
not making guys millionaires,
but some players have,
but not in this instance.
Putting extra money in guys' pockets,
making the coaches more money,
making the university more money,
and the only guys who didn't get to indulge in that
are the ones who provide the labor,
are the ones who walk away,
busted up arm, busted up knee,
busted up back, busted up ankle.
my heart goes out to Jordan Travis, man, and I very genuinely mean that.
And I know if he had to do it all again, he'd do it the same way 10 times out 10,
because that's the type of guy he is.
It's just so unfortunate that it ended like this.
Yeah, those really severe leg fractures can be some of the trickiest to come back from.
And his was a dislocated and fractured ankle.
And it was gruesome.
It was gnarly.
And just it's hard.
And it's hard because you wonder what might have been.
in because he, I mean, the trajectory of his career from that last season in college, I mean,
he had really put everything together.
You know, when he first started at Florida State was, you know, more of a running threat,
but the arm came along to an elite level.
And it just, it's hard to think what might have been, you know, a guy that I know that you
all may remember or maybe you don't because he didn't have the NFL career who played wide
receiver at Miami years ago, Amon Richards.
I mean, Amman was an absolute stud at the college.
level and had, you know, an NFL body type.
He was going to get to the league, but he suffered a neck injury that he just could
never fully recover from.
And he had to medically retire before he got his opportunity to play in the NFL.
So it's it's hard.
The game of football.
And by the way, Kenton, I appreciate what you said, because what you said, I've done
it at times.
You've probably done it at times, maybe less than others because, you know, you played the
game's your perspective is different.
Most everybody listening to this has done it at times when you judge players for
asking for more money and trying to maximize their earning potential, you made a great point
that football, that can be over.
Snap of a finger, right?
You maximize what you can get while you can get it.
I respect that.
Yeah, and this, again, I will talk about maybe the route that players go to do it, but at the end
of the day, you know, hey, it is what it is.
There's a limit on how long your body can do this, point blank period.
And we never know.
We never know when our last play is.
We never know, you know, hey, this is going to be the last time I walk on this field.
We don't know.
It just happens one day and, you know, a few rare guys get to know, but the rest of us, it's a mystery.
And so, you know, again, my heart goes out to Jordan Travis.
This is a young man that, by all accounts, I haven't heard a bad word about him.
When I met him at ACC Media Days a few years ago, he was extremely, he was extremely, he was.
extremely humble and, you know, act as if he was honored that folks wanted to speak to him.
And, you know, this is a dude that, again, it's, you hate to see this happen to anybody.
You really do.
But especially a guy like him and, and, you know, it's, again, you talk about what could have been with his career if he didn't get hurt.
I mean, even if he just would have recovered properly, right?
You look at a Jets team that was in dire straits needs of a quarterback these past few years.
You know, he just, that injury, it just, it worked out in the way.
He wasn't able to do it.
So, you know, more power to him.
And, you know, I hope that he is at peace with everything because I know it's so fresh.
I know that this thing is so fresh to him.
But, you know, there's life beyond the game.
And I hope that he goes on to live a wonderful, long, happy, prosperous life.
Yeah.
And, of course, he was a huge part of that 2023 Florida State football team,
which helped raise the stock of Mike Norville.
How high is Norville stock two years removed from the 13 and 0 start?
One year removed from 2 and 10.
I'm looking at now, Kent, in USA Today's rankings of every ACC football coach,
1 to 17, right?
Not only looking at where Mike Norvell sits, Dave Doran, Mario Cristobal.
What about Bill Belichick?
Where does he come in in the top 17 coaches list?
I promise we will not talk about the girlfriend today.
I promise.
You want to keep it locked right here.
We're not done yet on this brand new episode of Lockdowne ACCC.
Thank you for making us your first listen and your first watch today.
For your next listen, make sure you check out the portal podcast.
Our good friend Brian Smith, he's on every day, sometimes twice a day.
Because guys, even though players can no longer enter the portal,
guys are still getting signed out of that transfer portal.
It never stopped moving.
And Brian Smith hosts the portal podcast on the Lockdown Network.
Make sure you check it out, available free.
you get your podcast and available free on YouTube.
All right, Kenton, I'm going to, I'm going to have you guess.
I'll have you guess two things, okay?
First thing I want you to guess.
USA Today has just put this out, updated.
They put it out earlier today, 6.05 a.m. bright and early here on Thursday morning.
Their ranking of ACC football coaches 1 to 17.
Who do you think comes in dead last is my first question?
All right.
Can I get one hint?
Can I just get one hint?
And the hen I last for is, is it former coastal, former Atlantic newcomer?
Newcomer.
Frank Wright.
Yes.
You nailed it.
You nailed it.
I thought it was Frank Wright.
See, you, Donald didn't see me pre-show.
But what I said, it can't be Bill O'Brien.
My eyes lit up because I was like, wait, former NFL guys are not getting love on this list, apparently.
Ah, it's Frank Ryan.
I mean, listen, like Frank Greig, he did have the cult in the playoffs,
but as an NFL head coach, maybe put a little more respect on his name, USA today.
Although Kenton, he walks into an awful situation at Stanford.
Like, I mean, they just had to fire their head coach because of a scandal.
And then Wright comes in.
And he also, he comes in, everybody knows he's just there for one year.
So it's like, how do you recruit?
How do you sign transfers?
And that's the worst part about it.
I don't even think that X's and those in terms of the pure job of coaching football for one year, he's the worst coach.
However, part of college football is the recruiting.
Part of college football is not only recruiting players to come to your school, it's 2025.
You've got to recruit to keep these players at your school.
He is a guaranteed one-year rental.
He has no incentive or motivation to do those.
things. And even if he tries to, what is your pitch? Hey, I know I'm leaving, but you need to stay.
This is the best place for you, even though I'm going. You know, hey, I get it. You can't get an
education anywhere like here as if Cal Berkeley ain't right down the street like, I beg your pardon.
Not only can you get an education, you can also get a coach that's not out here bullying people
and doing things that'll get you fired. So, you know, it is a, it is a really just a,
nasty, untenable situation that he walks into.
But I understand why he's dead last because, I mean,
somebody had to be last, number one.
And number two, again, Donna, what could a coach that's a one-year rental say to you
to make you convince, oh, my boy needs to go there?
Right.
And you're telling me, so, and I got to go to Stanford where the classes are like 10
times harder than they are at like UNC or UVA?
Like, no thanks.
We don't talk about how hard the classes are or not at UNC.
We don't want to get into that scandal today.
But no, in all seriousness, it really is a thing where you talk about academic rigor,
you talk about lack of stability and coaching because you know that there will be another coach there at the end of the year.
You talk about the inability to recruit, even before we get to the academic rigor and all that.
Again, you're just stuck in a situation where the best pitch, the best pitch that he could come with,
if I was Frank Wright, I would say,
listen, guys, I know I'm a one-year
rental here. I know this might not be the
ideal situation for y'all. And I want you all to
think about something right now.
Teams that win a lot of football games,
their players go in the portal and get paid.
If y'all want to leave, if
you want to leave and go make yourself a big
bag that you feel like you can't make here,
that's fine. Not mad at you.
But winning
gets the eyeballs on you. The eyeballs
on you is what gets you to
command some money in the portal. So let's
all buy in to winning. Just this one year, let's do something special. And, you know, that's it.
You got the first question. And the second one also should not be that difficult because I gave a
hint in the show rundown there. For those watching on YouTube, you could see, spoiler alert,
Bill Belichick is outside the top five. But I didn't tell you how far outside the top five.
So Kent and Gibbs. And we're talking about the goat. We're talking about the six-time super
Super Bowl champion.
We're talking about the guy who is really, really they should name the Lombardi
trophy.
They should rename it the Belichick trophy.
He had so much success at the highest level of football.
We're not going to talk about his girlfriend today.
We're only going to talk about Bill Belichick.
Where do you think he ranks from one to 17?
I feel like I got deja vu or maybe my CTE is acting up.
You didn't say he's ranked number 10?
Did you not say that?
Did I?
I thought you did it?
I thought you did he number 10?
Is he number 10?
He is number 10.
Did I...
Okay, yeah, I thought you said that in the opening.
I thought you said that in opening and something like that.
I'm not sure.
I don't know.
But either way you cut it and slice it, I think...
I would be the worst game show host of all time.
Like, I'm hosting Jeopardy, and I'd be like, what is a clock?
Hey, tell me, this object helps you tell...
Oh, wait.
Oops, did I say it already?
But, I mean, in all fairness, are you, could you blame them?
Even, again, extracurriculars aside, personal life aside.
I cannot blame them for putting you at 10 when just out of curiosity, Donald,
how much time has Bill Belichick spent in the college ranks as an assistant,
as a head coach, as a coordinator, as a water boy?
How much time is you spend the conference?
Zero point.
I mean, well, I guess just the last couple of months, but before he got hired there, zero.
Congratulations.
If you're watching or listening to this episode right now,
you have as much experience in the college ranks as a coach as Bill Belichick did,
or more. You cannot have less. You either have as much as him or more. So congratulations.
Give yourselves a hand locked on ACC fan.
And I can't believe I gave away the answer before the question. This is terrible. So yeah, Bill Belichick comes in 10th.
Here's what the powers that be at USA today said about him. North Carolina made one of the most
interesting hires in college football history when it tapped a coach with six Super Bowl titles
to elevate a program that enjoys enough advantages to take a step up the food chain. We know Belichette.
check 73 years old can coach.
Can he thrive in modern college football?
That's anyone's guess.
Running a college program differs from coaching pro ball.
If you're monitoring early indicators,
UNC amassed a nice batch of transfers.
And they do have a top 10 transfer class.
Now,
they haven't brought in as many players as they lost through the transfer portal,
but they do have a top transfer class.
So they are,
they're bringing in some good players, Kent.
Again, I cannot take away from what,
Bill Belichick is doing that.
You cannot take away from them.
They are doing their thing in the portal.
You cannot take away from, you know, this expectation of them being much better and having
the schedule to do so.
You cannot take away from that, nor will I try to.
I will simply say this.
Bill Belichick to UNC was already an odd hire to begin with.
and if I'm UNC, I am praying for this offseason to be over so we can get into some actual ball.
Because, you know, people say love covers over a multitude of sins.
In the game that we play, Dono, we live in a result-based business.
Winnie covers over a multitude of sins.
It doesn't matter if Jordan is the most annoying person in the world and if she's down there calling plays.
If they're 13 and 0 going into the playoff, guess what?
All of a sudden, you know, maybe we all need to get a 12.
24-year-old woman to call our defense.
What do you say?
What are you said?
But that's the reality of what we're looking at.
It's all about the wins and losses.
At the end of the day,
I can talk about how much I think that Bill Belichick is all,
you know, sizzling no stake and all that good stuff.
But if he wins, if they beat NC State for the first time in six years,
what can I say other than he did this thing?
Well, and wins is the reason why, no surprise,
Dabo Sweeney, who's got, you know, by far the best resume of any ACC coach.
They won the ACC last year, in fact.
Dabo, Dabo comes in at number one.
Jeff Brom at number two, Rett Lashley at number three,
SMU. Mike Norvell, number four, and Mario Cristobal at number five.
What do you think about that top five?
And again, Norvel is still, despite coming off of two and ten,
and having more losing seasons than winning seasons at Florida State,
as a Miami guy.
It's in my contract.
I have to point that out.
If I was a Miami guy, I'd be pissed.
I'd be pissed about that because while Norval has shown that he will give you a higher ceiling,
the overall full body of work gives you a much lower floor than anything that you would see out of Cristobal.
So the question is, what are we weighing the higher ceiling or the lower floor?
Because to me, I don't, if I had to make that trade off, I wouldn't.
I wouldn't say, hey, give me a lower floor.
Give me a floor of two and ten and I'll be okay because you gave me one year,
13 and I'm not sure if I take that trade off.
It's again, I'll let you say that, not me,
because at the end of the day, you know, my guy declined to take a knee when he had
the game mathematically wrapped up, but he's also never gone two and ten.
So there's that.
Yeah.
I mean, I remember through the, what was it, the first two or three seasons,
since the,
Norvelle's record was identical
to that of the last head coach
that they had that everybody said was God off.
Yes.
Willie Taggart.
Tagger, yeah.
Their records were identical.
Everybody thought, oh,
Taggart inherited a much better program.
And I'm like, you sure about that?
You're sure.
But Norvelle shut all those detractors up
with a 13 and no year.
He did.
He did his thing.
And so, again, I understand the rationale.
I can see it.
I disagree.
But at least I can.
can understand the rationale behind saying Norville ahead of Christopal.
So let me give you the rest of these after.
Cristobal at five.
Brent Key, Georgia Tech at six.
Pat Narduzi, Pitt, at seven, which I feel like that's some respect for Narduzzi.
Dave Doran at NC State, number eight.
Mani Diaz, Duke, number nine.
They had a really good year.
His first year is head coached there last year.
They won, what, nine games?
Bill Belichick, number 10, is mentioned.
Fran Brown, 11.
he said he won't shower
until he cracks the top 10
Bill O'Brien number 12
Jake Dickert of Wake Forest
number 13 Justin Wilcox
Cal 14 Brent Pry
Virginia Tech 15
Tony Elliott 16
Frank Reich at 17
I mean there's yeah
that's rough the latter part of that list
I honestly feel like maybe
Wilcox should be ranked a little bit lower
14 of ego he goes
and hires Brian Harson to be his new
offensive coordinator the guy
like player repellent. Nobody wants
to play offense for Cal this year.
Miami was able to land
a running back that was almost
going to transfer to Cal
Jamar Brown. He could have
gone right to Cal to be their starting running
back. Instead, he came to Miami to be a third
stringer. Like that's how badly guys
don't want to play at Cal.
I'm going to tell you what. I remember when
Kendra Gfiel of NC State hopped into
the portal, and it was right after they had that mass
exodus at Cal. And I wanted to tweet
out right then, Kendraffel
You are a bear, but I couldn't do that for obvious reasons.
He ended up actually going to the cow bears.
And it was just like, look at that.
At some point in time, it's still an FBS and power for opportunity.
So somebody's going to take it.
But like you said, Donald, that should say something,
that everybody in their mom is fleeing a program that, again,
there are snaps, there are carries, there are reps available for you.
You know, in fact, I heard some of the Cal football players want to transfer to Clemson to play basketball because they heard Ian Shefflin is going to be changing to football.
And hey, you got Scali's open. I'll come over. I'll play hoops for you.
Nasty business. But you know what? The way Harsen got them boys acting up, I wouldn't be, wouldn't be shocked at all because there has been a mass exodus, the likes of which we ain't seen since those folks since Moses parted the Red Sea.
And so out of Cal, as soon as Harsen got it.
got there. So, you know, at this point, anything is believed.
Listen, I know Justin Wilcox's great defensive mind. They better be ready to play some
defense again at Cal because outside of Kendrick Raphael and the quarterback whose name I
cannot pronounce who transferred there, I have no idea who else is playing offense. Like, I don't
think they have an offensive line. I think they're going to bring the chubbiest fans out of the
stands to line up.
Like their quarterback. I don't know what they're going to do. I got nobody left.
Listen, I, you and the, you and the, you and the, you and the, you and the,
me both are wondering what they're going to do offensively.
You know, I'm not sure if they're going to go with the water boy situation.
We're going to punt and make their offense beat us.
We're just going to punt in every play and make their offense beat us.
Whatever works.
