Starting point is 00:00:01 There's no way this is really the worst quarterback in the ACC. Is he? You are Locked-on ACC, your daily podcast on the Atlantic Coast Conference. Starting point is 00:00:32 We're part of the number one Lockdown Podcast Network, your team, every day. He is Kenton Gibbs, former NC State defensive lineman and co-host of Lockdown Wolfpack. I am Alex Dono, host of Lockdown Keynes, and today's episode is brought to you by Five Hour Energy. Have your cake and drink it too. Birthday cake flavor is back. No fork needed. We got a big basketball game to talk about on this episode because Duke is taken on UVA on Saturday with first place in the ACC on the line. We'll talk about this list that came out of most overrated programs in college football
Starting point is 00:01:15 and where are a few schools from the ACC rank. But I want to call out the account that tweeted this out because I think there's a notable omission to their list. But let's talk about best and worst quarterbacks in the ACC, Kenton. And so I looked at this list that came out from Athlonsports.com, and I give them their props. Like overall, I thought they did a pretty good job ranking ACC projected starting quarterbacks from 1 to 17. But I want to ask you, because obviously there's always somebody who's got to be dead last on their list.
Starting point is 00:01:50 I don't think they got this one right. I'm not saying he should be in the top three or anything, but they rank a new Stanford quarterback, just transferred to Stanford. Davis Warren, former Michigan Wolverine. They rank him dead last at number 17. Now, hear me out, okay? Again, I'm not saying Davis Warren should be like above Darien Mensa or C.J. Bailey or anything.
Starting point is 00:02:17 But, I mean, this young man who, you know, not to mention all the adversity he's climbed through in his life, he's a leukemia survivor from back in the day. But, you know, that that shouldn't, you know, count for him as a quarterback one way or the other. But actually, as a quarterback, this guy started nine games for Michigan in 2024. And while the numbers weren't exactly pretty, Kenton, he did score victories that year against Ohio State as the starting quarterback and against rival Michigan State. So I don't feel like Davis Warren, despite throwing seven touchdowns to nine interceptions that year, should necessarily be the 17th out of seven. 17 ACC quarterbacks.
Starting point is 00:02:59 So here's the thing. It's about what you value here. And first thing, first, wins are not a quarterback stat. I'm sorry, Donnell. I'm one of those people. Wins just, if you're a quarterback,
Starting point is 00:03:09 how come we never say wins for a defensive tackle? How come we're never like, oh, this defensive tackle win? Because defensive tackle stopped the run and stop the past. They're the cornerstone on which most great defenses are built.
Starting point is 00:03:21 But that's neither here no there, right? The reality is, I look at it and say somebody has to be last. But when you think about when you get in that middle of the pack, that's where you see most like objectively we can say, oh, this player belongs here, there. But when you get
Starting point is 00:03:37 to the top end and you get to the bottom end, the same thing happens. It's about what you prefer. Right? It's about what you prefer. Because hear me out. Virginia Tech's quarterback, the young man that was a backup at Penn State, there's an argument. There's an argument
Starting point is 00:03:52 we ain't seen you piss a drop in a meaningful game. We have not seen you be good in any meaningful game. That's an argument one could make. One could also say, well, because we haven't seen you with a forecast around you, with a good supporting cat, in a stable setting where your head coach ain't being fired and all that, we don't know what you look like, right? There's the argument there.
Starting point is 00:04:16 For Davis-Wart, there's an argument of, well, hey, he does have the experience. The experience ain't good. The experience was we saw him and it stunk. So there's the argument. And then there's a bunch of guys. We got D2 transfers that might be starting. Okay? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Oh, yeah. There's going to be a few of those. That might be started. So it's all about what you would prefer. I do think that he's a little low on the list. I will give you that. I do think he's a little low. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Well, and also like you take into account the team that he's playing for. I don't know how many people expect Stanford to be good this coming season. They probably won't be. You know, they've got a new head. coach Tevita Pritchard. So there's going to be a transition happening there. So let me give you the rest of this list. So Athlon Sports, they've got Davis Warren at Stanford dead last.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Then they've got Mason McKenzie from Boston College at 16. I can roll with that one being really low. This is a former Saginaw State starter. Like, I'm not 100% sure that I knew that program even existed before I saw that he transferred from there. Like, I can't fully verify whether I knew it's Saginaw Valley State. I'd even say it right. Former starter.
Starting point is 00:05:29 I'm a area, so I'll get you. Okay, okay. So you know that geography a little bit better than me. Walker Egett, who's now at Duke, who's, I guess, their most likely starter there, ranks 15th, former San Jose State player. I do know that that existed. You know, they had to – Duke had to plug him in there pretty quickly after Miami stole Dary and Mensa away from the Blue Devils. Billy Edwards at North Carolina 14. Now you and I, we're not convinced Billy Edwards is going to be the starter.
Starting point is 00:06:01 He's a Wisconsin transfer, but we're both very high on Tehran Dickens, who they added, like, very late, the former Western Carolina quarterback. We think he's probably got the skills to beat Billy Edwards out, but there's going to be a competition there. If there's a competition there, that just means Bill Belichick is an idiot. One of those quarterbacks can play football at a high level, one of them can't. Okay. And one of those quarterbacks, as a guy who doesn't care much
Starting point is 00:06:24 for those guys. I hope that the Athlon is right. And Billy Edwards is here because I think Billy Edwards is appropriately ranked for where he would be amongst starting quarterback. However, Dixon, if he was the starter, oh, no, you cannot leave him down here. You'd be making a fool out of yourself. Yeah, you would be at 13. So we're starting to get towards the middle part here. Alberto Mendoza at Georgia Tech. Now that's, he's an unknown commodity outside of, you know, the family tree, right? His older brother, Fernando, just one. The Hysman was an amazing underdog story. Alberto was his backup at Indiana, transfers to Georgia Tech to likely be the starter. You know, Alberto, in his time in relief,
Starting point is 00:07:06 he put up, you know, some decent numbers, but this was mop-up duty. So we don't really know what they're getting in Alberto Mendoza. But, you know, he does play for a pretty good team in Georgia Tech, so that'll give him an advantage over the Davis-Worins of the world. Ashton Daniels at Florida State ranked number 12. Do you think that that's right? Talk about Mendoza 13, Daniels at 12. I could have maybe gone a little. It might be the Miami and me speaking.
Starting point is 00:07:31 I could have gone a little lower for Ashton Daniels. I'm not mad at Ashton Daniels here because Ashton Daniels at least showed us flashes against big time defenses. He showed flashes of, hey, I can do this in a better system against some really, really big time defenses. And some people are going to say, well, Ken, And doesn't that same thing apply to Grunkelmire? Yes, but that's why I'm not mad that he's not down here in the pits with some of these other quarterbacks.
Starting point is 00:07:58 I think Grunkelmire is probably coming up very soon on this list. And that's why I would say, yeah, it makes sense that those two are about at the same level. Because both of them have shown the flashes, but the inconsistency has been there. But both of them were objectively in very terrible situations where the head coach from last year is not today's head coach of that team. So, you know, it's a very tricky, tricky dance that we're doing here. But I'd say that the, that Athline got this walks a little bit correct. I think they might have ranked Gio Lopez a little too high at number 11. Same conference, new program for Lopez, the former North Carolina,
Starting point is 00:08:36 Tar Heel starter, transferred to Wake Forest. I don't, I don't, maybe I'm wrong, Kenton, just because, you know, how bad North Carolina was, was not completely Gio Lopez's fault. But it seemed like he. he struggled to make a lot of routine throws in that offense. I don't know about him being number 11. Gio Lopez definitely should be lower. Gio Lopez should.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Now, here's the thing. If you're saying who ends up having the best season, I could see where you would say Dickard has turned around some guys that look dead in the water. That looked like they would never be a division one quarterback. And Dickards made them look pretty good. I could see that argument. But Gio Lopez, just on his own merits, we saw it. We saw what we saw.
Starting point is 00:09:15 And the worst part about what we saw. saw, you and I will both agree. Max Johnson was worlds better than him when he was in the ball. It wasn't close. It was like looking at night and day offensively. So Gio's got an uphill climb to prove it. He's just got the right coach to give him the gear to hike that mom. We'll go through the top 10. Did they get numbers one, two, and three correct? Because there could be some debates there as well. You want to keep it locked right here. Kent and Gibbs and Alex Dono. We're only getting started on this brand new episode of Locked on 18. Welcome to the 5-hour energy flavor draft with 18 different flavors to choose from including new options like confetti craze
Starting point is 00:09:59 fruity rainbow or cotton candy. There's something for everyone. The board is set. The flavors are ready and I've got my number one pick for the 5-hour energy flavor draft. Folks, I'm riding with grape. You talk about a classic flavor that has been fueling me for decades, consistent, straightforward taste. It's got that classic purple candy style finish, soft, round sweetness. Grape is just a staple of the five-hour energy flavors. But guys, I'm not sleeping on pomegranate. When I started drinking that a few years ago, I realized how good it was. You talk about a sleeper that's climbing into the first round, more sophisticated and less candy-like flavor. It's got balanced sweetness with a dry finish. Pomegranate is awesome. Find your new favorite flavor at five-hour energy.com or on Amazon. This five-hour energy flavor draft is. so much fun. Guys, we're also proudly brought to you by game time. We're getting down to that biggest stretch of the college basketball season. Buzzer beaters, bracket busters, those
Starting point is 00:11:01 unforgettable moments that everyone's talking about the next day. Being there live for something like that, that's bucket list stuff. Lockedonpodcast.com, sorry, lockedonpodcast.com slash everydayer to join the everydayer club today. All right. So Kenton, let me roll out to you, Athlons top 10 projected starting quarterbacks for the ACC. Let me give you the top 10 and you can tell me if you like it or you don't like it.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Christopher Vizina at Clemson ranked number 10. I think Dabo is doing a competition there, but Vizina's the guy they expect to win it. He's got some experience. You mentioned Ethan Grunkmeier from Virginia Tech. They rank him number nine. That's the Penn State Transfer. Lincoln Keenholz at Louisville at number eight. Bo Probula at Virginia, number seven.
Starting point is 00:13:22 or will it be Chandler Morris, because he's got that lawsuit pending. Mason Heinzel at Pitt, number six. Man, he might be too low. Steve Angelli, Syracuse, number five coming off a serious injury. Geron Kiave Sangapule Tele, J.KS from Cal at number four. I like that for him. C.J. Bailey, NC State, number three. Kevin Jennings, SMU, number two, and Darien Mensa at Miami, number one.
Starting point is 00:13:50 How do you feel about that top ten? Oh, you're muted. I don't feel bad about it. I don't feel bad about it. And, you know, the big Grunkelmeyer lobby was trying to silence me there, but I will not be silenced. I think that a lot of these players run into the same issue of not having a ton of film or not having a ton of great film.
Starting point is 00:14:11 But from what we've seen, I think that this list is for the most part accurate. I really and truly do. I'm never going to be upset at CJ Bailey being number three, of course. But I think Derryman said at one, Kevin Jennings at two. Again, it's about your preference. It's about what you like more because Kevin Jennings, much more, he's going to do a lot more with his legs than Darien Minza, but Darian Minza is also very mobile in the pocket, in the backfield. He can make things happen when he's shifting and moving, but he's always looking downfield. And he's got a special,
Starting point is 00:14:41 special arm. I mean, that ball just jumps off when he's throwing it. So ultimately, I think that the top 10, I'm not mad at it at all. I'm very interested in you saying, Mation, Heinrich. needs to be higher because if he needs to be higher, he's got to jump somebody. Yeah, who's coming down for you at that point? All right, let me see. So they got they got Heinzel at number six. I don't know. Like, I might bump him up one spot.
Starting point is 00:15:07 I'd switch him and Angelie with Angelie. I get that. I get that out of the Angelie's coming off the Achilles tear and Heinzsche's on a better team. So I'm going to flip Heinzsche and Angelie, make Angelie six and Heinzel five. I'll do that. And I'm not mad at that. I'm not mad at that. The biggest thing is Angelie is coming off injury into a very rough situation.
Starting point is 00:15:29 But has Syracuse not shown us if they have a proficient quarterback, that they can accomplish almost anything. But Ricky Collins, I'm sorry, brother. It's time. It's time. Go on and hang it up. Go on and, you know, pick up that clipboard. Pick up that ball cap.
Starting point is 00:15:48 I don't know if I trust it with a clipboard. Probably drop it. Oh, that's the, that's the business. But it may be time if they're playing a kid that is not a football guy over you. That again, for all that we heard about how good he was at lacrosse, did you ever see a single football highlight from that young man? From learning, no. No, absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I saw nothing about, yeah, he's a walk on, but here's him in this 50-yard touchdown against such and so Catholic high school where all the players are five foot three and none of them are going from. Nobody is going to Division 1 con. They're going to Concordia University. That's the best they got. Davenport U. Here we come. Like, that's just, you know, it's a problem
Starting point is 00:16:31 there. So I think that you're right in saying better situation by Amal is Heinzsche. But I would also say this is, I think this list is close enough to where I'd feel nitpicky sent. This person belongs here, this person below here at the top half. Now, the bottom half,
Starting point is 00:16:47 some of those were a little egregious. Some of those were a little Gio Lopez I would probably say we can agree it's harder to make a list for the bottom half that it is for the top half I would agree it's much more difficult yeah yeah it is much more difficult and again I and this is not like a Gio Lopez hate account type thing even separating completely even if we say what he did with UNC was completely a wash throw it out well first of all why would we do that because we saw another guy come in and perform better but even if we were to do that now all you have is South Alabama film from two years ago. So now we're asking ourselves to examine two years ago and put more stock into that than what we saw from most of these guys last year. I have a tough time doing that. I have a very tough time doing that. So that's probably the most degrees is one to me. So I want to run something by you. Ed, I admit I'm falling into their engagement trap,
Starting point is 00:17:43 okay? Because I feel like this is engagement bait or engagement farming, I think they call it. But this college football account, what is this account? Top tier put out their list of the top 20 most overrated college football programs. You see Texas at number, they must have a vendetta against the state of Texas because they've got Texas followed by A&M. Notre Dame at number three. I'm not going to argue that one. They got Miami at number four. The other ACC programs they have a Miami fourth most overrated program according to them.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Florida State at number 10, North Carolina at number 14, Virginia Tech at number 9. I don't feel like Virginia Tech is like overrated or under, I don't feel like they're rated at all. I was about to expose, though, this list, Kenton, from top tier, because notably absent. I don't see how you can put together a list of 20 most overrated programs without having or without having, without having Oregon on the list. So this is obviously an Oregon fan who made this. Because the Oregon Ducks, their primary contribution to the sport is the number of uniform combinations that they have.
Starting point is 00:19:02 It's not championships. They've won zero of them. It's flash with very little substance. I don't see how Oregon, who again, like, they've had some decent regular season teams over the years, but they haven't won a lick in this sport. and yet they get talked about because of Phil Knight and 8,000 uniform combinations. How can you make a top 20 most overrated list without including Oregon?
Starting point is 00:19:28 This is clearly an Oregon fan. Oregon fans are some of the most delusional people in the world. And I'm going to tell you, the only inkling that gives me that this gives me that they're not potentially an Oregon fan. Oregon fans hate USC and USC. Oh, it might be a USC fan then. And listen, UCLA being on the list, I said, wait a minute, I know what you are. I know what you are. Because Donald, when have you ever heard anything about UCLA's vaunted history?
Starting point is 00:19:59 When have you ever heard anything about it? The only thing I hear, especially in recent history, the only thing I hear about UCLA, Trey Aikman played there, you know. Yes. Jackie Robinson played there. He played football there, you know. That's the only thing I ever hear about UCLA. I know what you are, man of Troy.
Starting point is 00:20:18 I know exactly what you are. But you are right. There are multiple teams that should be on this list ahead of these teams. My question is, by what criteria are you saying these teams are overrated? Like what most of these teams have either been to a playoff recently or have a national championship recently. So who, what goes into? They don't give any, like I just like zoomed out of it to see if they give their criteria. There is no criteria.
Starting point is 00:20:45 That's just their opinion as either a USC or an Oregon fan. Yeah, I very much so struggle with this list for a lot of reasons. And last but not least, the exact team you talked about, how the hell is Virginia Tech overrated? When has anybody said, hey, Virginia Tech, that's one of the premier brands and all the football? Or Michigan State? Like, how does Michigan State make that list?
Starting point is 00:21:07 I'll tell you how when the Minotauri make their list. I know who you are. I know exactly who you are. top tier state. I know you. I've seen you. You cannot trick me. I've seen this game before. But in all reality, if you were to say that there are a bunch of overrated brands or overrated teams in the ACC, my question would be, by what criteria and standard are you saying? If you want to say recent success, success in the last five years, well, Miami's out. Miami just was in the national championship. Oh, Florida State's out. Florida State was
Starting point is 00:21:45 just in the BCS Bowl less than five years ago. Oh, okay. So now who are we going with as an overrated brand in the ACC? If you want to say historical success, well, now you've got to put Florida State back in and say they're properly rated because they've had a ton of success over the course of history. Virginia Tech has never been spoken of like a team that's reached some of the mountaintops that they have. But even if you don't talk about them going to a national championship with Vic, how many 10-win seasons was it?
Starting point is 00:22:15 darn near in a row. They had more seasons where they won 10 games than eight or less for like a decade straight. Like a 15-year period where there are many more seasons of double-digit wins than eight or less. How do you say that that team is overrated? You know what I'm saying? And so ultimately I look at that list and I say, it's a hater, drink a little bit of hater raid. And I'm going to tell you something. In the words of Mary J. Blas, don't want no hater ration or how.
Starting point is 00:22:45 in this here dancer. None of that will be tolerated. Okay. Now, if you were going to make your list, who would be number one most overrated program? Because I'd probably go either Oregon for the reasons I stated. I mean, I'd be tempted to go for Notre Dame. Like at least Notre Dame, like, at least Notre Dame, like, has a storied history. You just have to go pretty far back because they haven't won a championship since 1988. So you have to go, I mean, people accuse Miami fans of living in the past. Miami has won three national titles since the last time Notre Dame won a national championship. So I don't know. It's one of those two for me. I got to go with Florida. I got to go to. I got to go to Gators because when you look at how people talk about them, remember when that job popped open and everybody starts, oh, it's a great job.
Starting point is 00:23:34 It's the greatest job. It's even better than the LSU job. How the hell is Florida better than the LSU job? if LSU under how many coaches have they not won a national championship or been to the player? Brian Kelly's just about the only one that did not get them there. That's it. Before him, it was Coach O. who won a national championship. Before Coach O, it was Les Miles who took them to a national championship. Before Les, it was Sabin, who won a national championship.
Starting point is 00:24:04 You are looking at champion after champion, after going to champion. Do we want to go down Florida? role. Did we want to go on that role? Oh, you got Napier? How Napier did? Oh, who was the coach before Napier? I don't even remember.
Starting point is 00:24:21 I was, uh, what was McElwain? No, no, no. There was one after that. What the heck? Mullen? Yeah, Mullen. Dan Mullen.
Starting point is 00:24:28 I'm like, why can I not think of Dan Mullen's name, who very much underachieve there. I think McAwayne took Mississippi State, Mississippi, the Mississippi State Bulldogs to the number two team in the nation and how did he fare at Florida? McElwain before him. How did he fare at Florida?
Starting point is 00:24:48 He's most known for that awkward shark. Did you see the photo of him with the shark allegedly? Do you remember that? Yeah, I remember that. That's what he's most known. We're not even sure if that was him, but that's what he's most known for. And if you don't want to talk about that,
Starting point is 00:25:02 the other thing he's known for is blowing up on players on the sideline. That's it. That's all. So you've got three straight coaches of futility, and now that I think about, who was the coach before him? Because I don't think that was Urban Meyer.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Oh, man. Even the way you cut it or slice it, they haven't had success since I had a four head of hair. You understand? It's been quite some time. They had a success. Will Must champ, I think, was before him.
Starting point is 00:25:31 And how must champ go? There have been so many failed coaches there that it's hard for me to remember. So now we're four to five coaches How many coaches deep in the trenches do we have to get before we start to accept, hey, people keep screaming. It's one of the best jobs in America. Every coach will want to be here.
Starting point is 00:25:51 Every coach will want to be here. Be at a place where they run off every coach after about three years or so. Be at a place where coaches can make kids want to come to Starkville, Mississippi. But they can't make people go there. Hey, come on, come on. Come on. That place is overrated. and they ain't pissed the drop since Tebow and Urban Meyer was walking the halls.
Starting point is 00:26:14 And I do mean both of them walking the halls because of revelations that have come out about Urban Meyer since his time at Florida. So like let's be very honest with ourselves. That team, that school wildly overrated in terms of a football brand. And it's funny because whenever Florida's looking for coaches, like the Gator fans will be like, who wouldn't want a coach in Florida and they're posting pictures of the beach? I got news for you. There's no beach in Gainesville. How far is the beach from Gainesville?
Starting point is 00:26:43 Like an hour and a half, two hours probably? Yeah, knock that off, man. Like they'll post a picture from Bocca Raton as if that's where you're going to be coaching. Why are you posting a picture from the strip in Miami? Talking about who would you want to come down to coach in Florida? Mario's got that job, baby. It's locked up. It's like they can't come there.
Starting point is 00:27:04 They can come to Landlock Gainesville, though. Yeah. Yeah, Gainesville, it's funny because as a South Floridian, like, I've been to Gainesville a couple times, and it, like, it feels like I'm in a different state. Like, there are, like, Florida, there are many different Florida's because, like, you have to drive north to get to the south. That's just how Florida is. Like, you got to, it's like, you know, when you're in South Florida, like, that's not really the South. So you have to drive, like, to Gainesville to get to the South where they drink the sweet tea, you know. Trust me, I've been to multiple, you know, games and bow games and all that in Florida and all that.
Starting point is 00:27:43 And I'm going to tell you, you couldn't be more right about it being an entirely different feeling and vibe from a Miami or even a St. Pete's or something like that to Gainesville. It's a whole different, like, you just don't, it feels like another world. So ultimately, I mean, again, this place that y'all keep saying is the new hotness. This place that y'all keeps saying, well, we've got Tim Tebow. And you know, Cam Newton was one of us too. Sure he was. But I believe his time there ended with him throwing the stolen laptop out of the window. Let's be honest with ourselves.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Gate, Gator legend, Cam Newton. That is not a good place to be. Because if it was, if it was, y'all would be bragging about more. Well, you know, our D-Tackle that only played four games this year ran really fast at the combine. 3.30 ran a 5 flat. He was moving. Well, too bad is that? Wasn't moving on the field for you. How about it? How about it? Too bad your head coach is not moving somewhere else because he got fired. So, you know, I just think that that brand, humble yourselves. Bring it down just a little bit.

Really good game coming up, Kenton on Saturday. And it's a nooner, so we don't even have to wait until like prime time to watch number one Duke hosting number 11 UVA. Duke, they've got that number one ranking for the first time all year after their massive win against Michigan last weekend. They're favored at home by nine and a half points against Virginia. Virginia has not won in Durham since 2020.
Starting point is 00:31:08 This will be Coach Odom's first time coaching a game in Durham. So listen, Virginia, can they pull off the upset here, Kenton? Because if they can do it, they'll actually move into first place over Duke in the ACC with the tiebreaker. And if Duke wins, they actually clinch the number one seed in the ACC tournament. Let me take off my NC State glasses for just a second here. Let me take them off. I'm taking them off. I'm putting them down.
Starting point is 00:31:36 I'm setting them aside. But the oddity of it all that at the end of this season, regardless of who ends up being first in the conference, UNC will have a win over there. UNC has beaten Virginia and Duke. That is the level of basketball that we're talking about being played in the ACC right now. That made me gross to say, I hope I've earned my spot in heaven after saying that, putting my NC state glasses back on now. The reality is this is a hell of a game, man. This is the prime time stuff. Earlier a few weeks ago, I said credit to the schedule makers because you put together a schedule unlike any other.
Starting point is 00:32:16 And there is so much on the line in this game. There is so much on the line in this game, which is, I believe, both teams second to last in the season or third to last in the season. This is one heck of a game, man. This is the type of stuff that legends are made of. These are the types of clashes of the Titans that get. everybody to talk in because this not only has aCC tournament and acc regular season implications this has NCAA tournament implications the longest win streak in the conference belongs to what team dono virginia nine nine uh straight yes that is correct and yet the only one seat to come out of
Starting point is 00:32:56 the conference and the number one overall seat at the moment is who dono duke how do you argue against the team that potentially, if UVA goes on to win this game, went out and win an ACC championship, they will have, what, at that point we're looking at 15 games or so straight going into the tournament? How could you deny that team a number one seed?
Starting point is 00:33:20 But then you got Duke on the other side, national player at a year, the brand of Duke, the brotherhood, all that they've been all year, some of the best wins of anybody in the nation. And you would deny that team of one side? So this game could potentially be a domino that leads to the ACC ACC having not one, but two, one seat.
Starting point is 00:33:42 So are you saying we root for Virginia to win a close one? Hell, hold on now. I'm just here hoping everybody has fun, you know. I'm just here hoping everybody has fun, you know. I have no problems with Duke. I have no cores with Virginia either. I just hope for a great game here. The only thing I don't want is a pro-op.
Starting point is 00:34:01 That's the only thing I don't know what I mean. I don't want to see a lot off. That would upset me. But everything else, if I see a good ball game that's tight, if Virginia wins a close one, hey, good for the conference. Duke wins a close one, good for the conference. But, you know, there is a world where Virginia keeps this winning street going. They play themselves into a one seat.
Starting point is 00:34:22 And Duke wouldn't drop. You can't drop Duke for this win after they beat Michigan. No, you can't. You can't. I'm with you on that huge. Shout out to the Everydayers. Make sure you check out the Everydayer Club. Go to Lockdown Podcast.com slash Everydayer to join today.
