I am Alex Dono from Lockdown Caines.
He is Kenton Gibbs from Lockdown Wolfpack.
We're going to talk about the schedule this weekend and who might be on upset alert
or who might pull off an upset within the conference.
Syracuse, I'm looking at you for the pride of the ACC this week.
And we're going to break down our week six ACC football power rankings.
Now, Kenton, before we unveil them, of course, they're indisputable.
That won't stop commenters from disputing them.
But who do you feel like has been maybe in your mind the biggest riser?
Like first five weeks, which team you thought wasn't going to be any good that's making you and maybe me as well eat a little crow?
Oh, I don't think there's an argument for anybody but pick.
Like, I don't, I really and truly don't think there's an argument for anybody else
because not just the fact that they're undefeated, but the way in which they're undefeated.
Not saying that they're winning dominantly, but they're beating power five teams.
They did not have a schedule where you look at it and you're like, oh, that's Cupcakes
row through the first four games through the first five games that some of these teams have had.
Like, these are, I'm not going to say super quality wins that you're going to, I can
guaranteed they're going to age like fine wine and you're going to look back and be great.
But what other team is undefeated and, you know, has, hey, I feel good about the teams that
you all beat.
I know that they'll at least be decent.
No, nobody else has that right now except the teams that we expected to be there.
How can Miami be a riser if we saw them at, at worst, being number three and you're number one?
I suppose to pet who preseason.
Who had them higher than 10, maybe?
and look at them now.
Yeah, and you know what?
And like the only reason why, like, Miami has been a riser for us is because Florida
State took by far the biggest fall.
I mean, you know, they were supposed to win the conference.
They were mathematically eliminated from winning the conference by September 1st.
It seemed like with those guys.
Yeah, it's very, very nasty work.
And I'll tell you what, it is so embarrassing that we don't.
have a story of
Cam Ward is close to
a Heism. He's looking on pace
to do that. We don't have a story
about men,
Pitt's doing great, Duke's doing great. There's
a different feeling in Durham around football.
We don't have those stories. This is our lead
story. The lead story
nationally about the ACC.
Hey, ain't that team to sue y'all like
one and four?
Boy, do they suck?
Oh, that's gross.
I'm going to start chanting.
Drop the suit.
drop the dude but without without further ado let's let's unveil our our week six acc power
rankings if you could see that there you know we still we still have miami at number one it's a
slightly less confident number one kenton since they were they're still undefeated at five and
oh but they they were tested by virginia tech uh Miami had to put together a pretty darn miraculous
his fourth quarter comeback with Cam Ward somehow escaping two sacks and flipping a ball out to his
tight end. He completed a fourth down throw to a receiver who was literally on his back when he
somehow got the football. But Miami's undefeated. They remain at number one. Now, I got Clemson number two
just because you can't, you can't, you can't, now they do have one loss, but that was a loss to Georgia.
I know that, you know, that hasn't aged that well, I guess, because Georgia just lost a bad.
That's still a quality loss.
Clemson has looked very good ever since.
But they've only played four games.
They're three and one Clemson.
We'll see how good or how excellent they look against Florida State.
But is it fair to put Clemson number two?
Because despite the fact that they are in front of, same thing for Lul, in front of some undefeated teams.
I mean, if you go by the eye test, it's obvious Clemson is in that top two, in my opinion.
Absolutely. And while we try to keep our rankings as much to what have you done for me lately and how do you look this year as possible, we would be liars if we said, hey, what you have done in the past does not factor in slight. It may not weigh as much here as it does other places. But we're not insane enough to say, oh, you know, the reality is it doesn't matter. No, like Clemson has proven time and time again that even their down years, but we consider a down.
year for them is an up year for Pitt or SMU.
Down year for them was last year when they went, what, nine and four?
What does nine and four look like at Pitt?
What does nine and four look like at SMU in terms of the ACC?
What does nine and four look like in terms of Duke, Boston College, Stanford, Syracuse,
all those teams, if you can do that every year, they'll build you a statue.
They'll build you a statue of your coach at that school.
Clemson, that'll get you fired.
So, you know, Clemson, their brand in how dominant they've looked since the Georgia game.
have earned them number two.
Yeah, so that's Miami at one, Clemson at number two.
So, okay, for this next bunch here, you know, I know Louisville is coming off a loss.
It was a gritty loss had they made a couple less mistakes.
Like they, they, in certain ways, now obviously the final score tells the truth, okay?
But in certain ways, Louisville kind of outplayed Notre Dame at times.
They outgained them by well over 100 yards.
But, you know, Notre Dame was opportunistic against Louisville's mistakes.
but still like they're they're passing the eye test they do have one loss but i've got louisville at
number three and then i've got unbeaten pit at number four um and i think we can agree that they
should be ranked very high you i've got a one loss SMU at number five and they're one loss
that is aged like a fine wine because b yu is so much better than people thought they would be and
smu has been better since making the quarterback change from preston stone to kevin jennings and then
You know, Kenton, am I doing Duke dirty by having them behind a couple of one lost teams?
Like Duke is undefeated, but, you know, unlike Pittsburgh, Duke really hasn't played anybody yet.
And yeah, I'm including North Carolina in not playing anybody because they're so bad this year.
So I've got, despite Duke being 5 and 0, I've got them at number 6.
Let me ask you this.
Tell me if any of these teams move the needle for you, Northwestern.
No.
You got.
No.
the mighty middle Tennessee
Blue Raiders.
Now remember what they did
to your boys last year.
But do they move the league for?
Fifth. Fifth Amendment, keep going.
And last but not least,
a North Carolina team
that got 70 hung on about James Madison.
In all fairness,
none of those teams
are necessarily needle movers.
I get it.
With all due respect,
I think six out of a 17 team league,
I think that's damn good,
if you ask me.
And here's the beauty of it.
Here's the beauty of it.
Here's the beauty of it all.
You have the opportunity to keep rising.
Like these rankings are not, you know,
permanent and immovable and rigid in any way.
If Duke wins out, guess who's going to end up number one in the power rankings?
Come on.
Take a while I guess, everyone.
If you're upset about these rankings to the point where you want to call me
and Dono everything but children of God in the comments,
to me that just shows you don't believe your team can sustain what they're doing.
And that's not just for Duke and Pitt fans.
That's for literally anything.
fan base said, you have us too low. We're, we're so good. Well, if you're so good,
you'll prove it. You'll prove me and Donald Rout. Or you'll make us eat crow and believing in
you or we'll look very smart in the end for leaving you lower than certain teams that have more
losses. And if Duke, Duke, they're eight and a half point underdogs of Georgia Tech this weekend,
win that game and you're going to climb into the top five next week. Spoiler alert. Lose that game.
there's going to be some, you know, regression to the mean conversations to be had about Duke.
But 5 and 0, it's an awesome start.
And as we've mentioned this week, that's their first 5 and 0 start in football since 1994.
So that's really impressive.
So, okay, am I doing Boston College dirty at number seven?
You know, their only loss was a really hard-fought loss against a top 10 team at the time in Missouri.
Now, they squeaked one out against Western Kentucky, but that was,
without Thomas Castellanos.
I don't think the game would have been nearly that close had their QB1 played,
and he's supposed to be back this week.
But I don't know, does seven, does seven feel right for BC?
Or what should we have done there?
You know, seven feels about right.
But again, there will be movement here.
There will be moved.
But I do want to credit BC because while I did predict that the Western Kentucky
hilltoppers were going to cover that spread, while I did say, hey,
they're going to keep Boston College.
from getting that full spread out there,
I did see a team that fought and battled and clawed their way back
and won a game without their leader.
Now, with that being said,
Thomas Costiano can now walk into the Eagles NIL collective
and say, hey, give me a blank check, please.
Give me a blank check.
Don't put no numbers on that check.
Leave it blank.
I'll put the numbers on there.
And it don't matter if I,
as long as I put something under $50,000,
dollars, y'all better pay.
Yeah. No, I hear that.
We'll talk about the back half of the power rankings when we come back, including the
Florida State Seminels.
Now, if they get blown out by Clemson, will they stay where they are?
If they beat Clemson, how high would they rise?
You guys want to keep it locked right here.
We're only getting started on this brand new episode of Locked on ACC.
We're only getting started with Fan Duel.
I mean, guys, you have all of these awesome games.
this weekend. You do have some big favorites. Miami is a double-digit favorite, 10-point favorites on the road
against Cal. Syracuse, their six and a half point underdogs at 25th ranked UNLV this weekend.

because, you know, Kenton and I, of course, are as well.
But Spencer, that dude's built different.

every single day on Lockdown College football.
Like this show, it's available free wherever you get your pods,
and it's available free on YouTube.
So Kenton Gibbs, as we stroll through the rest of our power rankings here.
Now, the next three, eight, nine, and ten is basically just based on head-to-heads, right?
Stanford beat Syracuse.
Syracuse beat Georgia Tech, therefore Stanford 8, Syracuse 9, Georgia Tech at 10,
they make up kind of the needy part of that bell curve here in these rankings.
I'm not mad at that at all.
That makes a lot of sense in terms of, you know, how you decide to rank these teams
and where you decide to put them.
Because objectively speaking, I mean, we haven't seen a ton from these teams,
but if you can't get a head-to-head match up to decide it, it makes sense.
And here, 8, 9, and 10, I'm with it.
Yeah, and for, okay, so I've got Cal at number 11.
I'm punishing them a little bit for only scoring nine points against Florida State and losing that game,
where everyone else is like running a, you know, like running a conga line, just dancing past Ws with Florida State.
Obviously, Cal does have a quality win.
You can say what you want to about Auburn, but to go into Auburn and get that win the way that was a quality win for Cal, outside of that, you know, the loss to Florida State, there are other games.
where, you know, against nobody's out west.
But listen, we've got Cal at 11, Kenton, but they've got a huge opportunity because number 11
in our ACC power ranking goes head to head at home in the middle of the freaking night against
Miami this Saturday.
So you pull that off, Cal, and you're probably going to be in the top seven or eight next week.
The Calgary them can't help you.
You've got to show up and do the work on the field, okay?
And this is a moment where we're going to see.
does the travel affect an East Coast team going out west?
Because this is a very different situation than what Stanford was going into against,
what Stanford was going into against Syracuse,
where it's like, oh, these guys are used to playing at this time.
This makes sense for it.
There is no world where you can rationalize,
hey, you're going to be playing ball for at what feels like midnight,
1 a.m. to your body.
Yeah, no, absolutely.
So that's going to be a big game.
And then I've got, I feel kind of.
kind of bad because they were so close to pulling off, you know, the big win last week, Virginia
Tech. And I feel like they're a lot better than their record says that they are because in all
three of their losses, they're like a play away from pulling off the dove. That was the case against
Miami. That was the case against Vanderbilt where they came back and sent the game to overtime.
That was the case against Rutgers when they almost pulled off the comeback. But then at the end of
the day, you're a two and three teams. So I, you know, I couldn't do much better than number 12
for Virginia Tech.
NC State at 13.
Virginia at 14.
What do you think about those, Kenton?
And did I rank NC State low enough this week?
Because a couple weeks ago, you scolded me for having them too high.
I'm going to tell you, I wouldn't be mad if you dropped them lower,
but I want to say something about Virginia Tech.
One of the worst phrases in all of sports is they're better than their record shows.
Let me tell you something.
If it were fifths, we would all.
all be drunk. And yet here, Alex Donnell and I are sitting sober and super, super clear-minded
because ifs are not fits, ifs are just ifs, if they had gotten one more play, if I were dating
Megan the study, I'd probably be a lot of happy. But I'm not. I'm not. I've still got to
find a way to navigate life doing things as I do without Miss Pete as my old lady. Okay.
So Virginia Tech has to live with the reality of two and three, the same way I got to deal with
the fact that me and Meg ain't together. It just is what it is.
So then, so I mean, any protest on Virginia at 14? I didn't really know what to do with them.
I put them, I put them at 14, UNC at 15. Like, they need to be punished for the last two weeks.
That's why I ranked them so low. I mean, you, two weeks ago, you let James Madison hang 70 on you.
And then the following week, you've got a 20 to nothing lead in the fourth quarter against Duke and you below it.
So I don't know. I might have.
North Carolina ranked too high, to be honest.
I feel like I'm being disrespectful to Wake Forest by having them at the very bottom.
I'll tell you what.
North Carolina is exactly where they belong.
They have shown nothing good.
When your head coach is have rumored to have quit after the game,
you belong in this range.
You belong to any time we know your head coach is going to be on LinkedIn at the end of the season,
which, by the way, I told everybody.
I told every, I may have been wrong about the number,
but I knew that some of those former coastal coaches were not coming back.
And boy, are we seeing one of them here?
So with that being said, I think that they'll rank correctly.
Florida State P.U.
Still stinks in there.
Don't tell me, oh, we beat Cal at home, so we deserve to be risers.
You lost to a group of five team at home.
Yeah.
At home.
Hush.
Don't say nothing.
We don't want to hear nothing.
Because do you know who the other team who?
lost to a group of five team at home is, Donno.
There's another one in ACC.
You know who that is?
No, I don't recall.
Wake Forest.
They lost to Louisiana and at home.
So the only team below you is the other team that has lost to a G5 at home.
Miami doesn't have that.
Clemson doesn't have that.
Louisville doesn't have that.
Pitt doesn't have that.
SMU doesn't have that.
Duke, Boston College, Stanford, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Cal, Virginia Tech,
Tech, NC State. Nobody has that but you two at the bottom. So congratulations. That's where y'all
are going to stay. Yeah. And like, and with Florida State, I mean, it would, heading into the
Clemson game this weekend, even though they're at home, it would feel like a miracle for them to
win that game. We'll talk about the potential of an upset in a little bit. But at the same time,
it's like, I mean, I still in a way, like I penalized Florida State for their awful record,
right? They're one and four. They only scored 14 points.
and their one win this year.
But at the same time, like if you were, like Kenton,
if Florida State was playing North Carolina this weekend,
probably would favor the Seminels, wouldn't you?
Like if they were at a neutral,
if they were playing North Carolina at a neutral site,
if they were playing Virginia at a neutral site,
you'd probably favor Florida State,
but the resume is so bad that they had to be this low.
Who would?
Who would favor Florida State?
Let me tell you something.
I've learned my lesson.
I've learned my lesson.
Watching this team get beat on.
I mean, taking out to the woodshed, spank that baby, put them to sleep down there in Dallas.
I wouldn't bet on this team.
Because, again, is there a single game this year where they were underdogs yet?
Were they favored against SMU as well?
I'm pretty sure they were.
Yes, they were.
They were favored.
Or no, no, actually, sorry, no, they were six and a half point underdogs against SMU.
They were.
So they were.
But did they cover?
Did they come close to cover?
Not even close.
They lost by, what is that, 26 points they lost by?
Yeah, it's not close.
I'm not favoring them against anybody except Wake Forest.
That is the only team that I would favor them against.
And I'll tell you what, Wake Forest has an opportunity to jump up the charts
if they beat their in-state rival, my alma mater and C State this weekend.
So all in all, Florida State is where they are, because, again,
they have a unique qualifier that none of these teams have,
accept them and the team below them.
So like we said, indisputable.
These are the ACC power rankings for this week.
We got Wake Forest 17 at the bottom.
Florida State 16, North Carolina 15, Virginia, NC State, Virginia Tech at 12, Cal, Georgia Tech at 10, top of 9.
Then you have Syracuse at number 9, Stanford, Boston College, Duke, SMU at number 5, Pitt at 4, Louisville 3, Clemson 2,
Miami number one and we'll see if there are any serious shakeups this week.
And if there's going to be shakeups, it could be because we have upset.
So let's talk about, we got the fan dual odds with us.
Let's talk about possible upsets in the ACC, including maybe an ACC team that can
pull off a non-conference upset this week.
You guys want to keep it locked right here.
We're not done yet on this brand new episode of Locked on ACC.

So Kenton, I'm looking at underdogs this week.
in the ACC. Now, the line has, has jumped around a lot this week between Miami and Cal.
You know, this could, this could, I don't know if it could be a trap game for Miami because
if they didn't, you know, come to the realization last week that, hey, anybody can beat you out
there. Like, football is a, is a ruthless sport. You can lose to anybody. They almost lost to
Virginia Tech last week. At the same time, though, like, I can understand why that there's people
given some love to Cal.
You know, they're hosting an ACC
game for the first time. They've got ESPN
College Game Day coming to Berkeley
for the first time ever, which seems
crazy, but that's the first time they've ever been
there. They're 10 point underdog. So it's
like, if you were going to make this
game into a Disney movie,
Cal would win the game. Now,
real life is not necessarily a
movie, but this is definitely one
to look at Kenton, because with Miami, I think
there was a lot of correctable stuff that went
wrong last week, but they didn't play
well. And so, you know, this is definitely an opportunity for Cal. It is an opportunity for Cal,
and there are still a lot of outstanding questions about Miami. I don't think that, you know,
the same criticism that we've levied about some teams in terms of you haven't played nobody yet,
the exact same thing can be said of Miami. You have not. I joke about you haven't played a power
four team that still has their head coach. And then when you do, it takes a Herculane effort from
Cam Ward. It takes an absolute bungling of a call like we have not seen since some weird
kick return thing where there were a bunch of laterals and whatnot. It takes a ton to beat that
team. So now we're asking ourselves, how good are you against actual teams? Is Cal an actual
team? Lots of outstanding questions there. But another part of this is the NBA has something
called scheduled losses where they schedule you two games close and back to back and all that good
stuff this could be one of those scheduled losses for miami not because the games are close they
played friday night so they got an extra day arrest it's the timing of it all it's the fact that
these guys if you don't put cow to bed early which i think they're capable of but if you don't and
that game wanes on and it's a close game let me tell you something about my calls okay
Alex Dono is
Uber talented. I mean, he's one of the
best that I've ever heard
on the microphone. But that man
does not want to be up past 10 p.m.
ever.
Y'all go keep... I got to do
post game until 4 a.m. on the radio.
And that's what I'm saying. Y'all going to keep my boy up
until 2.30 a.m.
And I don't know if he's the only brother
that's from the east. That's going to struggle
with that game. I'm not sure
if it's going to be just them. Now, granted,
all of them are younger and better shape.
much better metabolism than Donald at this point in their lives.
But you get the point.
It still is a factor that could weigh heavily in this game.
I think two things are going to decide the outcome of this game.
Number one, can Cal protect their quarterback?
They've given up 13 sacks in their last two games.
Miami's getting Ruben Bain back from injury.
So if Cal can protect Mendoza and if they can take some pressure off him by establishing a running game,
that would be big for them.
But I like the way Miami match.
up in the trenches in. And the other thing is, you know, can Cam Ward avoid, you know,
what happened to Peyton Thorne when Auburn went up against Cal? And that was, what do you know,
four interceptions in that game? They had five turnovers in that game. So Miami needs to take care of the
football. If they can win on their defensive line and if Ward can keep the turnovers down,
and like, I'm not even saying you have to go turnover free. Just like only commit like two
turnovers, get some sacks, you're going to come out of there with a dub.
Most likely, absolutely.
The thing about this game, I keep saying it, and it's because I mean it, Miami has to
win this game by a lot.
Do not keep this game close.
Do not let Cal be in striking distance for what is normal football time for them.
That will be 2 a.m. for you.
Do not let them be in striking distance at that time, because that's when the witching hour starts,
and all of a sudden things start to go a little haywire.
All right. So here's another, another big underdog.
You know, despite their 5 and 0 start, people are skeptical about the Duke Blue Devils.
Now, we have Duke ranked in front of Georgia Tech in our power rankings,
but that doesn't stop Georgia Tech from being favored by nine points at home, Kenton.
And usually home field, they say anecdotally, is worth about three points.
So Georgia Tech is giving six points on top of that three points.
Now, I love Duke's aggressive yolo defense.
They're going to blitz you a lot.
They're going to generate a lot of tackles for loss.
I think they lead the nation in that.
But, I mean, do you think they come back to reality this week?
No.
I don't think that happens this week because I don't think that he has a consistent enough team.
Is it possible?
Absolutely.
When they're playing at their best, for sure.
One thing that I've learned about a lot of these coaches that make you feel like you can run through a brick wall,
they're very mercurial.
And it's not just them.
The team takes on that personality.
There's not a steady, like, hey, this is who we are.
Like, yeah, our coach is super high, strong.
He's super energetic, but we're the same team.
Those teams have the ups and the downs and the all the rounds and the all the rounds and the loop to loops.
I don't know which Georgia Tech team I'm going to get.
So I would never spot that team a full touchdown against a team that's undefeated through five.
I just wouldn't do it.
Do I think Georgia Tech wins this game outright?
Yes.
Do I think they cover?
No. I think I'm with you on that. I think it's going to be within a touchdown.
I probably lean to Georgia Tech, but I think I'm in concert with you on that.
Now, what about Syracuse on the road at 25th ranked UNLV?
Now, I would argue this is a bigger game for UNLV because like for Syracuse, you know,
you don't really have college football playoff aspirations.
Maybe Jackson Hulzer would argue with us about that.
And for them, it's not a conference game.
Whereas for UNLV, you know, they're the second.
highest ranked group of five team right now at 25 behind Boise State at 21.
So they have like a real opportunity to potentially get that either that fifth seed for the
CFP or sneak in one of those at large bids as a group of five.
So, you know, UNLV may have to go undefeated to do that.
So this is a big game for the rebels.
Syracuse will obviously try to go in there and, you know, bounce back after they lost
to Stanford a couple of weeks ago.
and they're getting six and a half points here.
How do you think this one plays out?
Oh, I think you're muted.
I'm going to tell you this.
The same thing that I said about Notre Dame could potentially apply here.
And that that desperation is going to give them something.
It's going to give them a slight edge to take care of Syracuse.
However, here's the biggest difference.
Here's the biggest difference of why I think Syracuse pulls out a very close one.
in Vegas. UnelV still has multiple opportunities to go make it happen after this game.
Notre Dame did not. If Notre Dame lost that game to Louisville, it was over.
Congratulations. The Hyundai Sun Bowl is the best you're going to do. That's it. That's all you got.
This is a situation where UNLV, who's the number one ranked G5 team right now, Donald?
Boise State. What conferences Boise State in?
I don't even know. Is it the whack?
UNLV and Boise instead are in the same conference.
They have to see each of it.
Yeah, they're on each other.
What is it?
Is it the Mountain West?
Mountain West?
It's the Mountain West.
It used to be the West.
They used to have the WAC conference out there.
They're no longer part of it.
But they're both part of Mountain West.
So what you're going to see is these two teams are going to play each other at the end of the season,
which will be a de facto playoff, play in if both of them take care of business moving forward.
So they're going to have their day in.
in the sun to say like, hey, listen, this town ain't big enough for the both of us,
player.
One of us is getting into the playoff.
One of us is going home second.
Now, we're going to work this out how we work it out, but that's how this is going to go.
They're going to have that day.
Notre Dame would not.
So I think Syracuse gets this one.
Oh, I like it.
Well, all right, but before we go, Florida State, are they going to cover 14 and a half
point spread?
They're 14.5 point underdogs at home against Clemson.
Did Winnie the Poo ever cover his lower body?
He didn't, which is kind of weird.
Now, you just ruined my childhood now that I think of it.
That's your answer.
You want to think about cover?
This is a Winnie to Poo game.
There's not a chance in the hell he covered.
He covered a 40.
This is Vegas saying for all of y'all who need to go call the lady,
I'm giving y'all some free money back.
I'm being generous.
I'm being friendly.
Go ahead and take some money back up office.
Go ahead.
put whatever you want on this thing because there is no way under God's greener
Florida State keeps this thing within 14 and a half.
And tell Poo to put some pants on.
It's just not polite.
Put some pants on, Phil.
But you know what?
I'll tell you this, though.
He's just, he's adorable.
He doesn't sue anybody.
He just eats his honey.
So it's no problem that he doesn't cover.
But those nose not covering a single game this year with all their lawsuits.
Ain't enough pants in the world.
us forgive you, damn it.
Yeah, I think they did cover by a point against Cal.
I think they've cut.
That was, they did.
They were like very slight favorites and they just covered by a point.
So their, their, their record against the spread is the same as their overall record.
But it's not good.
If you, like, I'm sure that there are plenty of Florida state fans who, you, you love your team.
You bet on your team against the spread every single week.
And you're broke, right?
I mean, at least, you know, I'm, I'm four and one against the spread for Miami.
so I'm coming off a loss against the spread,
but I'm still up for the year.
Florida State fans,
they're taking out loans.
Like it's a tough life right now for them.
I'll tell you what, Florida State fans,
I need to sue the program.
Y'all need to go to court and say,
hey, listen, this team made me believe
this is alienation of affection.
They have not shown that they love the game
and they have not shown that they love us back.
I think that that already came up on message board geniuses.
Do you follow that account?
I agree.
They brought up a message.
board thread. I think Florida
state fans were trying to sue. I mean,
it might have just been one lunatic, but there was
a message board thread about
suing the players for their NIL
money back. Yeah. So that's
actually a thing.
Well, you know,
are we surprised that
one of the most, don't be shocked that one of the most
litigious teams in the country has some of the most
litigious fans. What are we doing? Why
are you shocked? Why are you confused? Again,
the same way Florida State just needs
that little 20 mil per year.
to help them beat the financial titans that are the Memphis Tigers.
Formerly, what was it?
What were they, the Memphis State Tigers way, way back when?
The same way they needed the financial backing and boost to beat them.
Their fans need a little bit of an economic stimulus package as well to overcome a lot of these things.
And I get it.
Trust me, I had to pay $8 per watermelon at the store the other day.
I get it.
Yeah, it's tough.
Wild.
They said it was out of season.
And I said, what?
Well, that's just row the seasons back.
This is America.
We don't worry about.
Like, I've been to other countries where, like, you can't buy certain fruits at certain
times of year, like in Europe.
Like, if you go to, like, a supermarket in Italy and it's not peach season, they're not
going to sell you peaches where I didn't think we had, like, in America, that we import
fruit from everywhere.
It's always in season somewhere.
That's disturbing.
You know, we don't want to get too much away from ball here.
Yeah, how do we get there?
I was devastated, shocked, and appalled.
A lot like Florida State fans have been all season,
and a lot like they will be if you bet on this team,
the governor spread against Clems.
Well, we've said a lot today,
and I hope everyone enjoys the games this weekend.
