Starting point is 00:00:00 No more talk about a partial ACC member who's not in the college football playoff. Let's talk about a full member of the conference who's got a big matchup with Texas A&M on Saturday. You are locked on ACC, your daily podcast on the Atlantic Coast Conference. Part of the Locked on podcast network, your team every day. And with that, Notre Dame AD Pete Bavacqua just added Locked on ACC to his list of grievances. He's like, you see, even Locked-on ACC is talking about us. We're not talking about you anymore. Terrible business partners locked on.
Starting point is 00:00:45 He is Kenton Gibbs, former NC State defensive lineman and co-host of Lockdown Wolfpack. I am Alex Dono from Lockdown-Kaines. And thank you to the everydayers for making Locked-on ACC your first listen. We're available wherever you get your podcast. We're on YouTube. We're part of the number one Lockdown Podcast Network, your team every day. Today's episode is brought to you by Fanduel. If you want to be right in the middle of the action this season,
Starting point is 00:01:09 visit Fanduel.com and place your NFL live bets all season long. On this loaded episode, nothing too crazy yet within the ACC, but ACC teams may target some of these guys. Kenton, the transfer portal is getting crazy. We've had just today alone, Monday, we've had already three quarterbacks jump in, like big-time prominent starting quarterbacks. We'll talk about the,
Starting point is 00:01:34 The ACC football grades that CBS sports gave to all 17 teams in the conference. There are a few Fs out there, spoiler alert, and there's only one A and it didn't go to Miami. We'll talk about Miami against Texas A&M this weekend. Kenton Hurricanes are three and a half point underdogs. This is Miami versus A&M on Saturday at Kyle Field. It's probably the biggest game Texas A&M has ever hosted, like to have a playoff game in their home stadium. It's the CFP debut for both Miami and Texas A&M. I've argued this is the biggest game Miami has played in since the last time they played for a national championship, the 2003 Fiesta Bowl, that they, you know, they had the game kind of stolen for them against Ohio State.
Starting point is 00:02:20 I could do a whole episode on that one. But this is the biggest game Miami's played in in 22 years, KG. And I think this is a great matchup. I'll let you buy the first round on this one. what is Miami's path to victory on Saturday, in your opinion? Miami's path to victory is the same path to victory that they've had all year. The path to victory starts with those two bookends you got. When you have the number one and number two ranked edge rushers in the draft,
Starting point is 00:02:49 they have to play like it. They have to play like it. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that there are all there is to Miami's defense. However, when you have those two, when you have obviously Ruben Hurricane Bain and Akeem Mesedore going absolutely ballistic. Teams, it's what do you do, right? You shift all of the blocking to the number one edge rusher in the class.
Starting point is 00:03:15 And guess what that means? You're shifting it away from number two, you know. And it's the tackle from Texas A&M has already got them started with the Ruben Bayes. We'll take care of it and all that good stuff. He's already got him started. The path to success for Miami is win in the trenches. Objectively speaking, you know, Texas NEM's defensive line, they're deep, they're talented, they're big, they're physical, all the things, all the things.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Coach Elko is doing a heck of a job coaching that team up. But if you see what Texas did to beat them, just stay on schedule. That's it. Texas did not put Archmanning in a lot of third and long situations and say, all right, figure it out. We're going to trust you to figure it out for three down straight. That's not what happened. They ran the ball effectively, stayed ahead of the chains, stayed unpredictable to where Texas A&M can't put it in the speed package now. And that's how they got it done.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Defensive line-wise, same thing. Make Marcel read a little uncomfortable, which again, because of the injury, he's a guy that running is a massive part of his game. If he cannot be mobile, in general, you're going to have a problem with Marcel Reed and not having one of the best tools in his toolkit. But mind you, not being mobile against Bain and Mesidor, hey, you may not think he's a threat. Marcel will. Your offensive coordinator will, buddy. So, you know, that's the path to victory for Miami.
Starting point is 00:04:49 It's the same as it's always been for a Mario Cristobar coach team win in the trenches. You know, the shocking thing about the way. Texas beat Texas A&M. You know, you mentioned it controlling the line of scrimmage, but like Texas for the better part of the season was not a good offensive line team, like did not have a good offensive line this year, was not very successful running the football. But they were very successful in both of those things against A&M to the tune of 218 rushing yards.
Starting point is 00:05:19 So again, like, you know, it was I guess kind of an aberration, but not really because A&M wasn't that great against the run all season long. So, like, to me, it's non-negotiable for Miami. You have to establish a running game in this one. And, you know, A&M, they actually led the SEC in the most explosive runs given up, which, you know, not a good stat. They gave up more 20-plus yard runs than any other team in the SEC. So that's Miami needs to exploit that because, like you said, you need to avoid giving Carson Beck third and longs because, yeah, Cassius Howell is a bona fide stud on that A&M defensive front. 11 and a half sacks this year. That's not a guy you want to give, you know, third and nine,
Starting point is 00:06:02 third and 12s too, because he's going to make Carson Beck's life very, very difficult. And, you know, obviously defensive line is the strength of A&M's defense. Their defensive secondary was vulnerable at times. So from Miami, you really hope you can get Malachi Tony going. You hope you can get C.J. Daniels going, who's back healthy in Miami's passing game. And, yeah, Kenton, I couldn't have said it better than you did defensively. Miami needs to make Marcel Reed as uncomfortable as possible. You know, in his last four games against power for opposition, he threw six interceptions in those last four games.
Starting point is 00:06:38 So he's kind of, you know, and again, like three weeks off, he can bounce back, anything can happen, but he wasn't trending well at the end of the year. Like Carson Beck actually was trending up at the end of the season. So Miami hopes that Beck doesn't revert to, you know, the way he played against Louisville, where he threw four interceptions. And then I think the biggest thing,
Starting point is 00:06:56 for me, Kenton, knowing that that atmospheric college station, it's one of the best in the country, maybe the best when it just comes to the pure decibels that that crowd can generate, 110,000 people, they cram them into that building. I think Miami has to start well, and you're never going to take that crowd fully out of it, but you can't fall behind, you know, 10-0-14-0 because the place is going to be electric. Like you have to start fast. You have to force a three and out early. You have to score early.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Try to force a turnover early and just lower those decibel levels a little bit. Because if you fall behind double digits, that's a wrap. Here's another very interesting stat about Texas A&M. In the last four games against FBS opponents, guys not named Marcel Reed. How many hundred yard rushers do you think they had? I'm going to go one? Correct. One, exactly one.
Starting point is 00:07:57 And that is their starting running back, Ruben Owens, the second. So I'm saying this to say, again, if you look at this team, it is reliant on a few things. It's reliant on Marcel Reed being very, being able to kind of move and groove as a runner. That's just it. The only game that we have seen Marcel Reed win as a passer, as a bona fide, you got to make it happen through the air. in that span in terms of the last four to five games was against South Carolina. That's it. That's all.
Starting point is 00:08:33 And we know about South Carolina struggles this year. We know how terrible they've been this year. So this game, to me, it's very clear. Make Marcel Reed put on that Superman cake. Make him put on the cake. And hold him in that pocket, which I personally believe is his kryptonite. when you make him put on that cape and say, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Superman.
Starting point is 00:08:57 You can't do no running today, brother. You've got to beat us with 350 plus through the air. If your name is not Notre Dame or South Carolina, congratulations, you've held Marcel Reed to under 300 through the air. That's the goal. That's the plan. That's it. That's it.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Now, if you make him throw the ball and he just has one of those games where it's just like you tip your ball cap, He's hit every pass and all that. You live with that. But what you don't live with is being undisciplined in the option game, being undisciplined in the quarterback run game. And now next thing you know, Marcel Reed has popped you for a quick buck 20 on the ground on top of whatever he gives as a passer.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Then you're in trouble because now you're over anticipating for the quarterback run, which is then going to free up Ruben Oins. That's where the game is won and lost. a running quarterback is not just effective via his stats. He's effective because all of a sudden, that defensive end ain't squeezing down to the hip is tight anymore because he's saying, I've got to wait on the quarterback, which if you do proper Q technique,
Starting point is 00:10:04 you're both touching the hip of the tackle, which closes off the space between the running back and yourself and waiting on the quarterback. But a dynamic guy like him, if that ankle is good, is going to be a tough time. Luckily, Miami's got two darn good guys that if you want to read those two, if you want to make your game plan, I'm going to make Ruben Bain wrong. If you want to make your game plan, I'm going to make Messador wrong.
Starting point is 00:10:28 That's a, it's a strategy. It's a bold, bold strategy, cotton. Let's see if it pays off for it. As a Miami guy, like I was delighted to see when Tray Zune, the offensive lineman from A&M, was like, oh, yeah, Ruben Bain, we're not worried about him. We're going to handle him. It's like, you really want to say, like, you don't just want to kind of give him credit and just sort of focused behind the scene. And then Marcel Reed backed him up in an interview. So they double down on that.
Starting point is 00:10:56 The head coach, Mike Elko, who I, and I don't think he meant it to sound this way, but he referred to Malachi Tony as the little freshman in the slot was like what he referred to a mess. So it's like, you know, kind of comes off sounding a little bulletin boardish.
Starting point is 00:11:15 I will say something. Miami is not perfect and they are not disciplined always on the field. They commit a lot of penalties. But when it comes to not providing bulletin board material, 2025 Miami is the 2001 Miami of respecting opponents. Like they are so risk that they don't say anything that can be construed as bulletin board material.
Starting point is 00:11:36 So I kind of hope that that plays in Miami's favor. Oh, it surely will. It surely will. You don't get away with talking that crazy about. Again, this guy, I can understand that Ruben Vain was like. a mid third rounder or something like that. And it's like, oh, he has one thing that he does well. There's a reason that not a single mock draft by a single respected person who does it has him going later than six.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Like that's that's like late, him having to wait till all the way until the sixth overall pick. The young man is, he's not like the rest of us. And by the rest of us, I mean the rest of football players. I'm not talking about regular people. I mean, like, people who have done this at a high level, you can watch him and see there's something different there. There's a lot of things different there. And, you know, I mean, hey, it's a bold strategy.
Starting point is 00:12:31 It's a bold strategy. Let's see how it pays off for any number. Now, I think this is going to be a tough game. I'm not trying to dismiss A&M. Like, no outcome would surprise me. You know, I'm going for the reasons we talked about. I'm going to give Miami the edge. I'm going to say 31 to.
Starting point is 00:12:47 to 24, Miami comes out of college station. Do you want to make a prediction, Kenton? Oh, absolutely. I'm going to say this. I've seen Texas A&M play some good football this year. I've seen them play some bad football this year. I've seen them win some games. I've seen them lose a game.
Starting point is 00:13:03 I've seen Miami have the exact same thing go on with them. Good football, bad football. But the reality is Miami, their best football is, I would say, lower than what I've seen at Texas stadium at their highest clip. However, however, the biggest thing going in Miami's favor is what Donald mentioned earlier, where these teams are trending. Marcel Reed is trending. To say he's trending in the wrong direction is an understatement.
Starting point is 00:13:29 If you've actually watched these last couple games, it's just been some moments where it's just like, why? What are you doing there? Carson Beck has not had those. He's all but eliminated those over these past few games. You can say, well, the level of competition is different. Sure. until you talk about South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Like, come on, dog. Come on. Nobody's going to sit up here and tell you, South Carolina's defense was world beaters this year. Nobody will tell you that. So ultimately, I look at this game and I say, Miami's going to win a close one, 24. I'll say 2421 Miami.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Okay. I like it. Well, when we come back, CBS Sports gave letter grades for every ACC football team. There's some Fs in there. and I think they're well-deserved Fs. You want to keep it locked right here. We're only getting started on this brand new episode of LockdowneACC.

Kenton Gibbs from Lockdown Wolfpack, Alex Dono from Lockdown Cains. All right. So Kenton, do you want to guess, so as CBS Sports went through all 17 ACC teams, do you want to, before we get into the good grades and the passing grades, would you like to guess who they gave Fs to and who would you give Fs to this year?
Starting point is 00:16:42 If at least one of the bills does not have an F, I know these grades are F for fraudulent. Okay. Both of them got F's? Yeah. Okay. All right. All right. Did anybody outside those two get Fs?
Starting point is 00:16:56 All right. So hold on. Let me look through this. So yeah, Boston College F, they go in alphabetical order. Okay. I don't want to spoil these. I see some Ds, some B's, C's, North Carolina F. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Yeah. Oh, there's one more F. There's one. And is someone who, no, sorry, there's two more F's. There's two more F. So what, one of them, think of a coach who has not showered in several months. Syracuse, of course, of course. Yeah, Syracuse.
Starting point is 00:17:26 He shouldn't, he, your team should have been that bad. Okay. Syracuse got an F and let's see. There's one more, a team that made a coaching change. Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech. I don't know. I almost feel like I would have gone deep.
Starting point is 00:17:40 I would have gone deep for them. Yeah, yeah, that's not fair. That's not fair. I wouldn't, I would, it's hard for me to argue giving them an F on the season because, like, I mean, yes, they disappointed for expectations unless you knew who this team was. Like, you didn't come in and I said, hey, while I do like, and again, love Kyron Jones, love Kyron Jones down. I just knew you're just not, I'm tired of waiting.
Starting point is 00:18:05 You know what I mean? I'm tired of said, like, this is going to be the year, this is going to be the year, you know. But more prior to the kid. Wow, that's interesting. I think, okay, four Fs. Let's go through these grades down. All right. So there's actually, there's actually two A's. Now, keep in mind, they, they graded on the curve. Like, they graded based on, like, expectations versus reality. And, like, that's why they didn't give Miami an A. Like, Miami's in the college football playoff, but they didn't give Miami and A. They gave one of the A's to Virginia.
Starting point is 00:18:35 I mistakenly said there was only one A. They also gave an A to Wake Forest, Kent, and who went. eight and four like that's like i don't i i feel like you know if if i if i score a 90 on my test and they give me a b the kid next to me also scored a 90 and they give him an a it's like i don't i mean for i guess if you're grading on the curve wake forest i still would have given him a b though for eight and four not an a you don't get an a for eight and four here's the only reason why i understand giving wake forest an a that was a team that had a new coach and in the n i l era wake I mean, with all the respect, the donor basis is not there in terms of volume. Not in terms of like the amount that people give because Wait 4 is very prestigious school.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Their alum's going to do great things in the world. However, it's just so few of them. And they're not a football school like Miami where you're like, oh yeah, they got tons of guys in NFL. They're going to want to give stuff back. Nah, no, they don't. They do not. So I get it. I disagree, though.
Starting point is 00:19:37 I do think B plus would have been the proper grade for them. I think B. it's like how does an eight and four team get a better grade than a team that went 10 and two they gave a they gave Miami a B. So here's and this is chip Patterson from CBS who I like. He does some good work. He wrote this article. He said on Wake Forest odds makers set the over under win total at four and a half.
Starting point is 00:19:58 So yes, going eight and four in year one of the Jake Dickert era would qualify for an exceeding for a far exceeding preseason expectations, he said. He also gave an A to Virginia. Virginia. And it's like, I get it again. Like Virginia, how many games were they were expected to not even be bowl eligible this year? Tony Elliott was on the hot seat. So I get it based on grading them on the curve. But I still, like they went 10 and two in the regular season, Kenton. But in not closing the deal against Duke who they should have beaten and allowing, you know, a seven and five team to win the ACC. I feel like they get a B or a B plus just for not. finishing the job like they should have finished that job here's the thing here's the thing this is the one i would not hear you out on only because okay only because okay only because if i would have told you at the beginning of the season the two coaches that from virginia both on the hot team but one of them's going to end up in the ac c championship and one of them's going to end up fired there we i probably would i probably would have gone the other way yeah there was not a world
Starting point is 00:21:06 where you're like ellie's going to be the one that's going to the cc championship and prize is going to the one out the door. I mean, at every position, you would, for the most part, say, like, huh, that guy from Virginia, he's not really a dude. Like, he's not really like, I'm expecting him to play on Sunday soon. And yet that team got to the ACC championship in one and 10 games. So while I, I understand, I understand, I know, I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm not saying that like, oh, this team is terrible, but you got to give them an A for going. You got to give my A predicted to win four to five games and you're in
Starting point is 00:21:44 an ACC championship with 10. Hey, even if you didn't close the job, I give you a minus. I'll put a minus on that thing, but I'll give you that. So another one, I got a bone to pick with the grade for Cal. Cal gets a B here.
Starting point is 00:22:01 But I, you know, okay, so they go seven and five and they lost to Stanford. Like I, you can't lose, like if you're Cal, you can't lose to Stanford win seven games and get a B. You get a C. I'm sorry. Yeah, I agree. And they fired their coach. I was about saying, how can you fire a head coach and say this is a B season? Yeah, it's not.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Beating S&U was a hell of a win. That to me propels you from a C where, it mind you, we're not even talking about the fact that the San Diego State Aztex took this team to the woodshed. Like, to me, I'm not saying you had a horrible season. I'm not saying this an F minus, not saying you're a D. I struggle to give you higher than the C plus when you've got a fired head coach, a G5 drubbing, and a loss to Stanford. I don't know about that, I don't know about that one. So one more bone to pick.
Starting point is 00:22:59 So Clemson and Florida State both got D's. I think Florida State you could have even argued an F, and Clemson may be, because they finish the season strong with four straight wins. But again, like the expectation, okay, I'll keep them at a D because they were supposed to win the ACC easily. So I'll keep Clemson at a D, but I don't see how you could give Florida State and Clemson the same grade. When Clemson beat him head to head, like Florida State, we talk about coaches who got fired. Florida State fans are mad because they didn't fire their coach and they're not bowl eligible this year at five and seven.
Starting point is 00:23:37 If Clemson gets a D, Florida State gets an F. I'm sorry. Here's the deal for me. When I look at these grades, I say a D, a F, neither one of them gets you a degree. Neither one of them gets you a degree. And I'm going to tell you this much. If you're absolutely right in terms of if Clemson gets a D, Florida State needs a D minus or an F. Because not only because you got beat head to head, but because how did you walk away from a season where the entire fan base is screaming, crying, and throwing up?
Starting point is 00:24:06 And like the only solace that was coming to Florida State fans at the end of the season was, well, at least Miami's not going to make the playoff. That's right. And well, actually. It's a tough time in Tallahassee. I got to agree with you, Dono, D minus or F them, because I think, again, they just, they've struggled so mightily all year, not making a bowl game again. and you're probably going to be trying to clear house and replace a bunch of coaches again. You're going to be replacing all these pieces again.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Everything except your head coach is leaving. And Lord knows, if it was cheaper to leave them, if it was cheaper to drop them off at the tarmac and say, hey, brother, don't worry about coming back with us. You go, go hop on that American flight, go hop on that Delta flight. Hell, fly spirit. I don't care. Just don't come back with us, you know, if it was cheaper to do so.
Starting point is 00:25:01 So I agree with you, Dono, D-M-M-S-R-N-F. And Clemson, you know what you did. You deserve that deed. You deserve it. You might deserve an F. I'm borderline there, but you made a bowl game. So it's hard to give you that. But you were supposed to be the chosen one.
Starting point is 00:25:18 This was your year to run the table and give us a 16 and no champion. And here we are talking about the pinstripe bowl and 20 some out dollars. And here we are. And by the way, haven't seen a super high profile. while ACC quarterback hit the portal yet, but three prominent starting quarterbacks hit the portal today. Starting point is 00:26:49 Kenton Gibbs and Grayson Boone host Lockdown Wolfpack Talk and all things NC State. I talk all things Miami on Locked on Cains. I think Miami Kenton could be, and they're probably not the only ones, you know, Florida State, I would imagine. going to be on the market for transfer portal quarterbacks this offseason. And we had three hit the market. By the time you watch this, there could be more. But we've seen today Florida's DJ Lagway hitting the transfer portal. I say buyer beware on that one.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Cincinnati's Brendan Sorsby, who I really like. Like Sorsby, that dude, a legit dual threat guy takes care of the football, only had seven turnover worthy plays. the season. Like, Soresby, to me, I think, should go near the top of the heap. And do you have a strong opinion, Kenton, on Dylan Ryola from Nebraska who hit the portal today? I just, I can't get past the Patrick Mahomes cosplay with him.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Like, it's just so, so weird. Like, he should go to Texas Tech. He should follow in Mahomes' footsteps. I, here's the thing, okay? I really and truly look at Dylan Ryola, and I say he gets too much hate for the Patrick Mahomes gimmick. but with that being said like who is the guy
Starting point is 00:28:06 as a football player he actually is kind of similar to Patrick Mahomes I hate to say it I hate to say it he's got a log on he's good out of structure you know he takes some sacks he probably shouldn't
Starting point is 00:28:20 but boy when he's clicking it's election I get it I get it it it's weird it's weird it's weird how much he cosplay another human being that's still a lot whole time,
Starting point is 00:28:33 hold time. Here's the thing. I'm a Lions fan, which y'all know. His father, Dominic Raola, was a center for the Lions
Starting point is 00:28:40 for quite some time. Big fan. Big fan of your work, Mr. Raoul. But the son conspment another man. Come on. Come on.
Starting point is 00:28:50 But I will say, if he was available in the Portland, I needed a quarterback, I wouldn't be very soundness, but I do want to point out, you said, buyer beware on Lagway,
Starting point is 00:28:59 buyer absolutely beware. He got, hurt like what what was he doing this year he's always heard he did something where he heard his foot it was like he fell off like a fell off of the curve or something like that on a scooter or something and got hurt i'm like what the boy is almost 250 pounds how are you getting hurt those scooters are dangerous man i've never tried every time every time i'm on campus at the you like i'm covering a practice or something dude one of these days i'm going to get hit by somebody on one of those scooters at like 30 miles an hour like they freaking whizz by you
Starting point is 00:29:38 that is an accident waiting to happen uh-huh yeah see donno's trying to get florida state to to get uh lagway as a as a final death blow in in the conference don't you do it knows don't you do it sores be is your man and i'll tell you another quarterback that you didn't mention that i've heard is it's going to be in the portal here sam levitt sam levitt i like him a lot yeah that's a guy Did I think, you know, in the right situation, obviously of all these guys, the obvious pick for me would be Soresby because you get a couple of years. And I'm against taking transfer quarterbacks for one year because normally it does not work out in the way that you think it will. Normally that second year with that quarterback, things will a lot better than it did in year one. But, I mean, if I had to right now start my team with one of these guys or take one of these guys as Soresby,
Starting point is 00:30:28 and probably a close second is Levitt. And then after that, Riola and Deadlis would be lagging. Yeah, I agree. I just, I might, yeah, because in terms of, like, I think Levit, to me, is probably a little bit better than Sorsby, but Levitt's not healthy right now. He's coming off a Liz Frank injury. So he's, wherever he goes, he's going to miss spring, which is something to think about. Like, you know, Carson Beck missed spring for Miami, and it's worked out okay.
Starting point is 00:30:56 But, you know, you prefer to have your guy there practicing in March. if possible. Especially if it's a one year deal. Yeah, right, exactly. So that, that to me puts Sorsby ahead of Levitt is the fact that Sorsby is available now, Levitt's not. Raiola also, like he, he had, I think he broke his leg this year, so he probably would have to miss spring wherever he goes. And then, you know, DJ Lagway is a walking body cast anyway. And, you know, he just, he really regressed this year, you know, whether you blame other factors, you know, his team wasn't good.
Starting point is 00:31:30 he was playing through injury, whatever the factors are. I view lagway as a guy who still requires a lot more development, whereas the other three are, you know, closer, more polished, right? Closer to being finished products. Well, my biggest problem is this, because I do understand that of these four, if you look at who had the worst situation this year, Lagway by a mile. I don't think, like, of all these players, all of their head coaches are coming back or getting bigger jobs that are coming up very,
Starting point is 00:31:59 that already came up or were up pretty soon. But the reality is Lagway had a lot of turmoil and a lot of Willie, won't he with the coach and all that. I'm not concerned as much about the play on the field because I believe put him in a better system that can work out.
Starting point is 00:32:16 The problem is you're too entry prone. He's like the glass guy from, from what was it? The Bruce Willis movie, yeah. What was that called? Bruce Willis movie, Indestructible in Glass or the SpongeBob. Unbreakable.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Unbreakable. There we go. Every day I break my legs and every night I break my arms. That's how I look at DJ Lagway. Like, brother, every time I look up, he's walking around with a boot on again. And I'm saying this as a guy who spent more time with boots on and on the field. The best ability is availability, man. That's just the nature of the game.
Starting point is 00:32:51 You could be damn good when you're available. But if when you're available is limited, especially at that position, you're going to run and the problem. So I think that's my concern with him more than anything else. If you could guarantee me his help, he would shoot up that list for me, but you can't.
