Big news in ACC basketball. North Carolina, Seth Trimble is transferring to Louisville. Are the cards now the favorites heading into the season? We'll break it all down right here on Locked on ACC. Gibson Gibbs, and we are a part of the locked on podcast network. Going to take a break from all the football talk today as there's been some big news in ACC basketball on this Wednesday. Jay Lucas, the coach at Miami, signing an extension after only one year, but a successful season down there in Coral Gables. Talk about the new guard of ACC coaches on the men's side. A bunch of illegal things are happening, which is allowing players potentially come back for a fifth season.

We'll discuss some of the schools in the ACC that could be. benefit and some of the players who are looking to get back in for a fifth year. And speaking of that, the biggest news I feel like in the ACC today is that Seth Trimble, who spent the last four years in Chapel Hill at North Carolina, Tar Hill-Borne, Tar Hill-Bred. And when he dies at Tar Hill dead, is not going to say L1C4, Louisville first cars forever. He has committed to Louisville thanks to, we talked about this last Monday, the Colorado District Court judge who has ruled, that the class of 2022, which Seth Trimble is a part of,

that they are allowed to take a part of the new five-for-five eligibility rules that the InsubalA does not want to give them, but right now they are good to go. So, yeah, Seth Trimble, not going to wear Carolina blue, going to be going to be wearing red of all colors moving forward, I can't believe like this is happening. But I also can't because this is college sports in 2026. It is college sports in 2026.

And even beyond that, Seth Trimble, in his announcement, which is a very college 20-2016 said, and I quote, I'll always be a tar heel. So I guess always doesn't include the 26-27 basketball season. I don't know. I don't know, because I'm pretty sure those two teams have to play each other, and he will de facto. Twice.

Oh, okay. Okay. Listen, this is, I don't know about y'all. I don't know about y'all. I'm a different kind of guy, you know. No, no, no. See, Julie, I always think I'm trolle. We got to get our lab legs under us because I'm not even trolling right now.

I'm the type of guy if I'm transferred to Renaissance, even if it was a game, I'm still, I'm not going to say I'm still a technician for ever. You know what I mean? It just, it means something to me to be who I am. But I will tell you this. On the court, Seth Trumbull gives them a good defender, a good playmaker, a guy who is going to be putting pressure at the room. And I say, good playmaker.

Don't y'all get up here and say I called him second coming to Bob Coozy or something like that. He's a good playmaker for a wing. He is. And he's a pretty good defender. Obviously, the jump shot never really been his strong suit. But he is who he is. And I'm going to tell you something, ultimately, I think he adds a lot to what Louisville potentially needed because they needed a guy that they could feel like, hey, defensively, he could do his job.

Now, did he get lost at times? Was he a little bit watching the ball and not his man at times? For sure. But in terms of on-ball defense, I wouldn't say he's premier S-tier in terms of ACC defenders. I say at least higher B, lower A tier in terms of perimeter defenders in the ACC right now. Louisville's getting themselves a hell of a player. And again, I've done my good deed for the year and saying something nice about the tar heel. Well, he's now a Cardinal.

But yes, he is still going to be a tar hill for life. I mean, just because he goes Louisville for one season, it's not going to change the fact that it is a degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill that he owns a Ben and Jerry's on Franklin Street. I think he's not getting rid of that. And we can decry NIL in the portal. but that's a really cool thing that a guy can go to school, be able to get money, then buy a business in his college town. So, yeah, it'll be weird.

It's not like it's going to be the first time that I've seen a four-year or at least a notable tar heel play for another school. Garrison Brooks to a lesser extent. He left after four years, went to Mississippi State thanks to the COVID year. Caleb Love hit the third biggest shot in program history, retired Coach Kay, and now was hanging up in the rafters at the McAil Center in Tucson,

for being the Pactual player of the year. and when he gets announced at NBA games, he is Caleb Love from Arizona, yet he still wore those shoes and Karen when he came back there and beat Duke that one time his first year at Arizona. So it's odd, but this is college basketball nowadays. And there's a guy like Brady Manick who Carolina fans love. He spent four years in Norman Oklahoma. He's from Oklahoma. He's in Oklahoma sooner. Yeah, he was part of the Iron Five, but he's not really a tall heel through and through like Seth Trimble is.

Now, it's not guaranteed that Seth is ever going to suit up for Louisville. because understand the judge in Colorado had filed the injunction, allowing them right now to get able to transfer. Now, there was a caveat. You had to already be in the portal, which Seth Rimbled was wise to go in the portal, knowing that this ruling was going to come. So he's now able to not just go back to Carolina,

but they go to Louisville instead. Now, the NCAA, of course, they're fighting this as they want to be able to uphold their rules. So on August 17th, next Monday, they're going to be a submission, and maybe it's going to be reversed or it's going to stay. and if it does get reversed, it's likely, according to Kevin Swinney of Sports Illustrated, that a lot of players are just going to fight in a different court and try to be able to go out there and to play.

And we've already seen, like there was a court case involving 19 players in a state of Tennessee who are now all eligible for this upcoming season. That's not being reversed. And Carolina actually was able to benefit off of that because the South Dakota Transfer Center, they assigned Cameron Fins, was a part of that lawsuit. So I do think that tough Trimble is going to be able to play this season. And I think a lot of guys who are now going to be trying to look around are going to play. And I also think that right now Louisville is probably the team you're looking at right with Duke, who's going to be the top team heading the ACC this upcoming season.

I don't know how you feel about that. But I look at the cards. I look at the Blue Devils, they're clear away the top two teams and the ACC men's basketball season. Oh, absolutely. I don't think that there's any argument to be made outside of that. Now, would you say they're the top team? Hold on. Hold on now.

Duke is still Duke. You know what I mean? Like we all hate the empire because they are the empire, right? They got the Death Star rolling and the number one or two recruits coming through every single year. But I no doubtedly would say that this creates a bigger delineation between Louisville and everybody else. You know, like you said, it's a different brand of college basketball. You know, Matt Abel, NC Stater is now at UNC. It's a different breed of basketball.

We're seeing things that we've never seen before. But Seth Trumbull did ultimately what he thinks. was best for himself and that what he thinks was best for himself is definitely what's best for Louisville because Louisville there are too many self-trembles just hanging out just hanging out hanging around there aren't too many guys that are in that you know above six four range you got a plus five wingspan that are just chilling just waiting on the call not not in our world not that have skill not that can get it done at a high level on the perimeter which he can right I mean again we know the limited we know the limiting factors of them we know the deficiencies but

to say that he's not a hell of a player, to say that he won't help Kelsey's crew. You, my friend, are a liar. We are working through these court cases. Julian and I are tired to talk about court cases. Hell, we're not even supposed to be talking about basketball right now. We don't want nothing to do with the court. We want to talk about the field.

We want to talk about the field. But in this instance, I think that the court case is definitely coming down to pipe sooner or later for the state of Kentucky. And obviously, I have no doubt in my mind that Seth Trimble is going to be made eligible by that. And again, he's a really good player. By all accounts, I have not heard anything negative about the young man.

I've heard that he's a quality young man on top of being a good player. So more power to him. You know, I truly think that Louisville is gearing up for something special. I think with Kelsey's crew, it's all about consistency. Because some nights, they go out there and they are world beaters. You're like, oh, my God, are we watching Fosslamma, Jemma again? They just burning up and down the court. They had their guards going off for, I want to say it was multiple games.

of 30 plus from both members of their back court last year multiple times. Then there were games where they just were like, I don't really feel like it today. I don't really feel like playing hard today. And you saw a market difference. So if Kelsey can get that team to buy in and be locked in, night in, night out, these are 18 to 23, 24-year-olds. Of course there will be inconsistency.

Of course there will be bad games and all that good stuff. But if he can get them to buy in to the effort portion of it every night, they'll be just fine. I mean, hell, they looked just fine last year up until the tournament. But, hey, the ACC as a whole didn't really do great in the tournament. So that's not an individual knock on him. Yeah, and I wouldn't bring up Fiaslimit Jama to Louisville fans. They did lose to them in the Final Four back in 83.

Now, of course, Jimmy B and NC State took care of it. Louisville won their title in 86 over Duke. So, yeah, I think a little, some Louisville fans were like, I don't bring that up. Don't bring it up. They thought that was the actual national title game that was played on that Saturday. little did they know, a pass from Derek Wittenberg would be enough to get it done. Shout to Coach Witt.

Yeah, yeah, sure. He's a great character, though. Yeah, you look at Louisville, looking at their roster right now, what they've done in the portal, Flory Bedunga, who started at Kansas was a former five star. Jackson Sheldstad from Oregon, that was a package deal, the two of those guys. Also, former five star, plenty of experience. Carter Knox from Arkansas, now stuff, Trimble, to Shane Montgomery from Dayton, who was an all eight-ten player.

Albro Fulgaris, who was on that Iowa team that went to the elite eight. I mean, they have just loaded up, Andrew and Woolie's back now. I still feel like Duke is the most talented roster. Will Fowster back, Caden Boozer, Domey, Sarr, Patrick Gungbo. What are you guys still doing in college? Sarr, Gungbo, you should not be here still, but they are. And then, of course, they're adding guy like John Blackwell, who was one of top scores in the Big Ten at Wisconsin last year.

And, yeah, they're still Duke. They're going to recruit top five type of guys like a Cameron Williams or Big Man. and then Darren Ripprey, not coming to state, but coming down to Durham, he's going to be their point guard that looks like this season. So I still am going to lean with John Shire and the Blue Devils. I do have a few things I want to tell Carolina fans here in a moment about why Seth Trimble's not going back to Chapel Hill. And a big reason is there's no more roster spots.

We'll talk about that here in just a moment. And also take a look at other schools in the ACC who could benefit from this five-per-five legalese, just chaos, if you want to call it that going on right now in college athletics. This is a basketball league that, yes, has still some great. Hey, hey, hey, watch your mouth now. Watch your mouth. We play some good football over here, too. Yes, but when I go to Raleigh and I look around in C-State,

I see two banners saying 74 and 83. I don't see anything when it comes to football. This is still a basketball league in its core. But yes, Miami looking good, Louisville, SMU, Clemson maybe going to figure it out FSU. We'll see. We're talking plenty of about that. We have plenty of thoughts the rest of the week looking at this season.

More camp is likely for you all on Thursday. And on Friday, AP poll comes out on Monday. Not that important, but something that we'll talk about. Don't want to ignore that. And potentially some court news could happen. But next week, we're going to have some stuff starting out for you all when doing some previews, have some of the locked-on, ACC-Lock-on college shows come on. to do a little bit of ACC preview before we finally get to some actual ball being played.

But I told Carolina fans that I wanted to say something before we move on here. Yeah, I understand. Step Trouble, not come at Chapel Hill, pretty jarring, especially for a guy who hit that huge shot against Duke. Huber Davis sat there and talked about how great it was because it was him, a four-year guy, a guy who could have left, was convinced by Danny Green and his family to stay in Chapel Hill and to complete his four years there. now he's likely, I don't think it's going to really matter what happens with the whole Colorado judge thing. I think he's likely going to play at Louisville this season to make $3 million doing it. So good for him.

There are no roster spots left in Chapel Hill. They've built the roster. Michael Malone and that coaching staff were not going to wait until August 12th. So welcome back Seth Trimble. Now, should they have thought about leaving a spot open just in case, certainly, and from people I talked to today, Seth would have come back had they done that. But look at who they brought in. Matt Abel from NC State, I think it's gross that a guy played at State last year

is now playing at Carolina. Now, I look at Van Allen Lubin differently because he's played at four different schools. Like, that's just a weird dude in general. Mercenary, yeah. Yeah, like, I don't understand that. But like, starting at State going to Carolina next year, it's like, oh, what are we doing here? At least Dantra Stiles had Georgetown in between. I'll never love it, but I wish he played, I hope he plays well in Chaval Hill this year.

But Matt Abel, Terrence, the Utah transfer, those year's starting guards. They got paid to be that. So Seth was going to come. back and start ahead of them. They brought in Neil Advalis from Virginia Tech. They got their big men. So there wasn't really a roster spot, let alone the position that he wants to come in and start again here in Carolina. And yeah, you probably would rather have Steph Trimble than Andrew Brazzi, who they signed to be a six-year, just backup guard. It's good to move on. You had four years, good legacy. Let him move. New regime. No more Hubert. It sucks, but it is

what it is. I think we all just got to try to wrap our minds around this new era in college sports, even if we don't really love all of it. I'm a little confused. That's why they didn't leave a spot open. And I understand that you don't want to bank on hope. You don't want to bank on luck. I get that. I get that you don't want to bank on the judge, turning things in your favor. But you can't tell me that each spot was that precious to kind of leave one of your legends hanging in the lurch. You know what I mean? And mind you, mind you, I do want to be very clear. Like my man Julian said, hanging in alerts for $3 million, I like to hang out in that alerts too.

That's alerts I definitely want to be left in. But I mean that from the standpoint of if this is a gentleman that wants to come back, right? And this is not to, you know, even though Julia keep taking shots at me today, I've tried to be kind. I haven't taken a single shot. What are you talking? Oh, okay, sure. I've tried to be kind.

But, you know, NC State prime example, right? You built out your roster to the best of your abilities and still there's a lot of. a spot open just in case. You say, hey, and there's spots there just in case, Ben and Lueva were to say, hey, man, I think I like it in Riley. I want to come back. Just in case the big from Florida said, hey, man, y'all need a seven-footer. Y'all got some money laying around.

Come on. Put it in my hand like it belonged to me and I'll be at Riley. Come on. Let's talk about it. So I'm confused as to why that did not happen. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that Mike Malone has built out his roster in an improper way. It's a very well-constructed roster.

It addresses pretty much a lot of holes that they had last year. I don't think that they'll have a ton of deficiencies of the team this year, but it's still one of those things where it's like, this guy is not just a guy. And I get that at North Carolina, legend means Jordan, legend means worthy, legend means, you know, all those types of guys that are like Primo, top tier. This is Nate Smith player to your territory.

I still don't understand why guy who played there for four years, guy who meant a lot to you, you don't leave one spot open for. Yeah, and look, his legacy in Chapel Hill is that shot against Duke last year. That's it, honestly,

because he's not going to be a guy in 10 years. I'm thinking about it. Oh, yeah, man, Seth Trimble hit the shot. Other than that, what did you really accomplish in Chapel Hill? There's a lot of years

where there's just teams I just don't even want to think about when you look at just what this program has been. And he was a guy who played for Hubert, and Hubert got fired and not really a ton of fond memories aside from that run back in 2022. So, yeah, good player. Guy's going to come back.

You're going to always thank him for that shot. Other than that, look, you would like for him to be back on the roster. I do think it's a legitimate question that you're asking. Why did they not think ahead of time? I think of a new coaching staff and a coach who's coming from outside of the college structure that they wanted to be able to just have the roster together that they weren't going to wait. And, you know, school starting. You can't sit here.

I don't know when Louisville, when they start school, but I know Carolina starting, like, I think, like, right now. So they weren't going to wait. And there's other things you got to get done with, like, he already went to school there, so they could easily probably figure it out. But they don't wait. And also the money.

He's not a million dollars for Seth Trimble. Had a lot of money for Terrence Brown. A lot of money for Atval. They had a lot of money also for Matt Abel. What's the money going to look like for Seth Trimble, who, yes, would have come back. I'm sure the right price as well, but should work out from going to U.S.

I don't even know he's going to start there, but he's going to be playing for a team, I think is going to be much better than the team. he'd been playing on a chapel this season. Now, you brought up state, there are several players, several schools that have an opportunity to take advantage of this. Now, Justin Ganey, as you mentioned, intentionally left open to roster spots. And an area that state needs to address is the big man.

Ben Allen Luton can't be your center again. But he would not be this upcoming season under Ganey. And then you brought up Florida's Micah Handloaton, who Carolina was sniffing around as a week ago. They've now pivoted to South Dakota transfer Cameron Finns. he is also on their radar. So state could very easily take care of this. And hey, good looks for Ganey to think about this was going to happen.

We see how the landscape is of lawsuits and buying that local judge. This can work out in their advantage. There's already other schools. I mean, Darian Williams, we talk about this. He's gone to Texas Tech already. He has a different lawsuit, but he's going to Arizona, Chansy Wiggins, who was at Clemson and Florida State. Now he's going to Gonzaga.

There's other guys who played Summer League ball, like Chris Bell from Cal, formerly of Syracuse, he's trying to get back into this. Like there's playing teams that can take advantage. I'm curious to moving forward, which ACC school is going to be able to maybe bring back a guy they think are going to be able to bring back and who's going to benefit from some player

who was playing in the G League, who's going to now come back and be possibly an all-conference performer for them this upcoming season. Yeah, there's absolutely the possibility of that. And not just from the state and Carolina angle, there's plenty of schools that have roster spots open that could use some of these guys. I mean, you talk about players who played in the G league.

are you going to look me in my eyes and tell me that all of the teams at the ACC are so stacked they'd have no use for any of these fifth year guys come on now come on now we're we're we're you know and even if you're talking from the money perspective of it well let's look at the money perspective of it for some of these guys your options are be the 12th man off the bench on a G-League team or learn some La Liga El Balancesto overseas where you're probably only going to be making $20,000, but your houses paid for and all that, but you're hours away from your family.

You know, you can't see none of your people and all that good stuff. Or you go to a college that doesn't have a lot of money, it doesn't have Seth Trimble $3 million waiting around, but they got $100,000 for you. They got $50,000 for you. You come to campus, you know, pretend to do some classes. Everybody does classes online now, because apparently athletes are too good to walk into class like the good old days

and make yourself a little bit of money, maybe even play yourself into a better draft position than what happened last time you tried to get in the draft. I think there are plenty of young men who could benefit from that. I think there are plenty of teams who can benefit from that. I personally do not like it. I think your old tails need to get on Indeed. I think you need to go and be a professional,

but the rules are the rules. And so I'm not going to sit here and castigate somebody for making more money for themselves within the rules so long as they aren't intentionally hurting anybody else, which ain't happening here. It ain't happening. Hey, they're just playing a little bit of basketball, just a whole lot of jump shots,

a whole lot of drop steps, a whole lot of block shots. That's all we're seeing. So, you know, this is a situation where I think a lot of ACC teams need to look around and say, hey, what's going on in that fifth year clearance being over there? I think we could get ourselves,

he probably would have charged a million last year. We probably get him for $400,000 right now. What's you think? Possibly. And the other thing is, the rules aren't the rules because the rules are being circumvited by judges and lawyers at this point in Zobah. But yeah, Chris Bell from Cal, he played for the Pelicans in Summer League, got Barry Dunning Jr. from Pitt. He played for the Blazers in Summer League. Now he's in the portal trying to go elsewhere. I do think Pitts Camp Corrin would be somebody who's also in the portal that a team would want. I mean, Chisholmok Paro would be a guy someone would want.

Dylan Hunter, he had signed a contract in Europe. And now he's trying to come back to college basketball. So it's crazy how we've gotten there. BJ Edwards from SMU, apparently Oklahoma, according to Jamie Shav on 3.com. Oklahoma's a school to watch out for him. So there's already schools out there who are taking advantage of this. And I think there's some AC schools.

Carolina's done that, NC State should do it. And there's other ones out there, Louisville, who we talk about the start the show. They're doing it. Duke, though, they're like, nah, we got our guys. If you're Duke, you don't have to. If you're Duke, you don't have to. You're playing in a whole different, it's a different ball game

that you're playing and everybody else. Yeah, I do get worried about that. But we'll see how that goes moving forward. We'll continue to monitor that here on lockdown ACC. We have a new changing of the guard when you look at the men's basketball coaches. And Miami's Jay Lucas is one of them, signed a five-year contract extension today. We're wrapping up the show here on Locked-on ACC with more ACC basketball news on the men's side. Jay Lucas signing a five-year contract extension on Wednesday, as reported by ESPN's Jeff Rosello. Year 1 had the Cains after things got rough there with Jim Lernick at the end. He moved on Miami was 7 and 24 last year, 26 and 9, 13 and 5 in the AC finishing in third place, making it to the second round. A really good job by him that first year. you look at with Jay Lucas, there's been a new guard of ACC coaches. Kay, Roy, Beheim, I guess you throw him in there. Those guys, they're long gone.

Now you have John Shire at Duke, Jay Lucas, Miami, Ryan Odom at Virginia, Pat Kelsey at Louis, Louis, Luke Wax at Florida State. I'm interested to see what he does moving forward. Then you're bringing in Luke Murray to Boston College. Heary Mac is back at Syracuse. Justin Ganey's back home at NC State. A new guard in the ACC on the men's side. And we'll be interesting to see again, moving forward how all this plays out.

this league tries to get back to where it used to be as the top basketball conference, which will be difficult with the money, the SEC and Big Ten have. But there's still the brands in the ACC that can still be top brands in college basketball moving forward, Kenton. First of all, let me defend the school that feels like I don't defend them enough in Syracuse, okay? To scoff at Beehom and say, I guess you could throw him in there. He's a national champion. Yeah, but he's not an ECC coach, though. What do you mean?

Yeah, he won it in the Big East, but he's what? Top 25 or so all time and wins. Coach over a decade in ACC. Coast over a decade in this thing. He deserves his life. Give him his love. Fine. Well, there you go, Jim.

Even though he complain about one in Greensboro all the time and how much he missed the Big East, rightfully so. But sure, give him his friend. If he ain't ACC, then who is? No, I'm joking. But in all seriousness, in all seriousness, you know, you talk about all of these new coaches and the new blood and coaches.

Here's the most interesting thing that I think. I think if you look at the top end, right, in terms of legends, in terms of guys that we know, oh, he's going into Nate Smith at the end of the ball game. We are not what we once were as a conference. But top to bottom, I think we are exponentially better than we have been in quite some time in terms of coaching. Because if you look at some of those years with Kay and Roy and Beheim and company,

we had some absolute jokers, some unsurious clown shows going on around the conference. And that's just being honest. That's just being honest. It was a time where not only could you count on those three being in the top three, but everybody below them, it was just like, eh, you got six or seven teams that'll do it. You know, I'd be at that time, Grievous Vasquez and Maryland was still in the ACC. What a different time it was.

Gary Williams coaching him. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. You had some coaches below that top, top tier. But now I think you've got a bunch of hungry, scrappy coaches. that are getting it done by the grit, by the sweat of their brow, not by legacy, not because people know their team. I mean, what did Jay Lucas have to build off of, right?

A coach who had quit mid-season and a program that was like, hey, we're a football school now. Football is good again. So y'all do what you can. Jay Lucas coached that team. He coached the hell out of that team because they could not hit the broadside of the bar from deep last year, but they still did what? Tried really hard, gave effort defensively, gave great effort on the glass,

and applied rim pressure like nobody's business. So him getting that extension makes sense. Jerry McNamara, the son, you know, he's not even a prodigal son. He's just the native son that returned home after his stint in Siena and all that. And, you know, this is a group that I'm looking at and I'm saying these coaches from top to bottom. Same with my boy gaining. You know, everybody said, oh, he's so much different. He's like the antithesis of Will Wade.

But he is. Which is a good thing. Oh, absolutely. I don't think it's a bad thing at all in certain respects. I mean, Will Wade, great recruiter, all that good stuff. But when you talk about the X&Oves, Will Wade, when we had, I believe it was three different teams, third options, went off for career highs against NC State last year. And everybody sitting up there saying, what the hell are we doing, letting Melvin Council drop 30 on us? What are we doing? Nine threes, too. That was crazy.

And his thought was, we let him take that shot. And if he makes it, he makes it. The problem with that, in high major basketball, every damn body can hit that shot. There's no one on the court in the back court or on the wing that can't hit that shot. And then you get Justin Ganey saying, we will contest every single shot. There is not a time where we're going to look at that and say, we'll give you that. You've got a bunch of coaches that are gritty, that are scrappy. Kelsey and what he's doing has been fantastic at Louisville.

Odom, I mean, I squinted. I had to wipe my eyes real hard. I said, wait a minute, is that, is that Benet back again? All these bigs that just block shots, they only got one skill, but they do that one skill better than anybody's ever seen it done. This is a group of ACC coaches that top to bottom. They got to tell them. Somebody will eventually rise to the cream of the crop.

Shire will eventually get his natty. Mike Malone still to be seen. But we're going to get a cream of the crop. And then even some of these middle layering guys, they'll be there for a while because these are really good. good coaches. And I think a lot of them fit the modern era. And Jay is a young guy who spent time at Kentucky at Duke, his dad's John Lucas. So he's been around basketball his entire life. I think he fits perfectly down there at Miami. You saw how they were recruited last year. They

had a six-beth transfer portal class, got a five-star recruit in Caleb Gaxon, who was from Christopher Columbus High School, same high school that Mario Cristobal went to. So getting a kid from Miami to stay home in Miami to play for you. But yeah, you're right. Like a lot of these coaches as you look at him. And I'll even say Mark Madden at Cal, I thought he did a fine job last year. Kyle Smith, who came up from Washington State over to Stanford, he has that team looking pretty good. They have their challenges, but we know if they want to win and they want to put the money down, they could smoke the rest of this conference. Maybe not, Duke's got the money. Louisville seems to have the endless money right now that Papa Johns is back in the fold.

KFC bread, just all the fast food money. The Capitol. They got all of it. They got all of it. So I'm excited to see how things play. I don't know ACC tip off for men's and women's basketball going to be that first week in October. October, let's see. I have 27 up for whatever reason on my maps right now, my calendar right now. But yeah, October 4th, sorry, 5th through 7th in Uptown, Charlotte.

So maybe we'll be there getting you set for ACC, women's and men's basketball. I'm going to go ahead and put in that PTO and make sure I can get there for those days here in Charlotte.
