In the NFL, relationships and connections are important as it pertains to a potential Denver Broncos running back prospect.
There are a lot of interesting ties that bind.
We'll break it all down here on today's episode, Locked on Broncos.
You are Locked on Broncos, your daily Denver Broncos podcast, part of the Locked on Podcast Network, part of the Lockedon Podcast Network, part of the Lockdown Podcast Network,

Thank you so much to the everydayers out there.
Thank you so much for tuning in and making us your first listen.
However, you choose to do so.
I'm Cody Rourke,
Credential Broncos reporter for Mile High Sports.
Join, as always, by Sarah Bedinger,
site expert over there at predominantly orange.com.
And on today's episode of the show,
We're going to talk about relationships and connections as the NFL offseason approaches,
especially with the NFL combine taking place this week.
And part of that is Davis Webb and maybe some of the connections he has related to his playing days.
Could that lure some potential freedoms over to Denver?
Plus, we also talk about whether or not Denver should look at drafting a running back in the first round of this year's NFL draft with the 30th overall pick.
We're going to kick things off by talking about an interesting coaching connection here,
two coaching connections that could link the Broncos to David Montgomery.
he is set to be traded and or released by the Detroit Lions.
You can get that on today's episode of the show.
Sarah, my friend, I know you've been under the weather the last couple of days.
I know you're powering through it.
My man, Broncos Country is great to have you back here on today's show.
I'm excited to have you back as well.
Let's talk about this as well, especially as the NFL Combine takes place.
And I want to obviously apologize to Broncos Country real quick.
I was under the assumption that Monday, Sean Payton, was going to be speaking with the media.
That's actually going to be taking place today at 3 o'clock mountain time.
So I've be covered on tomorrow's episode with all the recap of Georgia and Sean's pressers.
But obviously some rumblings as the NFL Combine takes places where a lot of discussions,
conversations on napkins take place for GMs, coaches, things of that nature here.
David Montgomery has been an interesting name, I think, to follow this offseason here,
determining what the Detroit lines may or may not do with him.
Brad Holmes had indicated they could look to trading him because they said that we want to maybe send him somewhere
where his skill set can maximize so we're not.
holding him back.
So I would say you'd be breaking up one of the best running back
duels in the league there.
If that were the case,
or there's a chance he could even stay there.
But let's talk about the connections here.
The Broncos have two interesting coaching connections that could link
Montgomery as a potential running back candidate for the Broncos this off season.
Yeah, running backs coach Lou A.
Annie is obviously one of the number one candidates there when you talk about connections.
And he was the position coach for Montgomery when he was back at Iowa State,
right,
which is huge.
I mean, when you build that relationship from such a young age,
I think that's kind of a bond that gets forged that these guys don't forget, right?
That's your college position coach.
That's meaningful to these guys.
And I even remember back the last time Montgomery was available, Cody,
I think we had discussions about could that, you know,
connection come into play for the Broncos.
And it ultimately didn't work out.
Obviously, he's been playing really well for Detroit the last handful of years.
But maybe it comes into play now as the Broncos.
Broncos do need that sort of powerful running back,
somebody who can grind out between the tackles,
yards after contact.
And certainly you figure somebody who would be able to pick up the offense rather
quickly because he's been playing in a,
you know,
version of it under Ben Johnson and John Morton.
And then obviously at the end of last season,
as Dan Campbell was calling plays there for the lion.
So the ties that bind are critical when it comes to NFL free agency,
when it comes to getting deals done.
We know this, the three degrees of separation, right?
You can typically find a lot of those types of deals that get done during NFL free agency.
We know money talks more than anything, but typically if guys do get cut from other teams,
they're looking for familiarity.
And this could be a great landing spot for David Montgomery if the Lions do choose to move on.
This is something that Sean Payton has talked about as well.
I mean, he even made mention of Jim Leonard's connection to Illinois when they talked about
when they were going to the pre-draft process on Pat Bryant, so to speak.
So it is important that they hit on all these notes.
And with that, you mentioned Louis Eannie, but also John Morton, who is the offensive coordinator as well.
He's now back on staff.
We talked about in yesterday's episode of the show as the past game coordinator here,
though I will say his tenure in Detroit did not go well.
And I've been on the record of saying that here in Denver,
players weren't very fond of his approach because he was old school, loud,
and, you know, his approach is like the hard, tough motivation.
And I just didn't think that meshed well with some guys.
And we'll see maybe what that dynamics like this year.
But things fell apart for him in Detroit last year.
But he knows David Montgomery, right?
I mean, when you talk about Jemir Gibbs' rise that obviously we've seen, he's their
RB1, David Montgomery.
I mean, we talk about a smash and dash kind of duo between those two guys.
Man, considering he was in the feature backs there and 17 games played last season, 716 yards,
eight touchdowns for him on the ground.
As a receiver out of the backfield, he had 192 yards.
And he had 24 catches.
and a success rate of 55.2% when targeted out of the backfield here.
But overall, I mean, yards from scrimmage, 908.
So close to 1K.
I mean, throughout his entire career, Sarah, he's been a 1K plus yard from scrimmish type of guy except last season.
And that was more so because of the issues that the Lions offense had with David Montgomery.
And down the stretch, we didn't see him as much for the Lions.
And we saw a heavier workload for Jemir Gibbs, so to speak.
So would that connection necessarily mean as much to a guy like Montgomery for to say if he were to be cut by the Lions, so to speak, would he come to Denver because of that connection?
I think probably Louie and he would be the best selling point for him.
But I also think that Sean Payton and the Broncos, and I'm curious for your thought on this, Sarah, they have to do a good job of selling why a running back should come to Denver.
Because if I'm a running back or if I'm an agent, one thing I'm looking at, Sarah, I'm going to look at splits.
how did the Broncos run the ball in the first half of games?
How did they run the ball in the second half of games?
And if you look at the numbers,
you will see that the Broncos were pass heavy.
I mean, how many times do we do a show where Bo Nix has 15 to 17
passing attempts in the first half?
And Denver's only ran the ball six times.
So many times we've had this conversation.
So if I'm a running back, I'm doing my research.
I'm saying, you know what?
Denver's going to have to sell me.
They're going to have to tell me that they're going to put the ball in my hands a lot more.
he is a bigger sustainable back I would say at 511 230 pounds he is built for more touches
double digit touches in comparison and the Broncos in my opinion I think they're going to have
the obstacle to try to sell come to Denver I mean you have a new facility you have an awesome
quarterback but at the end of the day sir it's about touches it's about being able to get
touches while being part of something that's bigger than yourself and if you're not getting the ball as
much I mean that can also grow to be a little bit weary over time which is kind of
know why I think, you know, you maybe push the pause button on any of these ideas for any non-Breece
Hall or, you know, Kenneth Walker, Travis E.T.N. types of moves at the running back position is because
if these guys are demanding that they get the lion's share of the carries, well, shoot, you maybe just
consider bringing back J.K. Dobbins and go to the draft, which I know we're going to talk about here
coming up, but that's the type of thing right there is that David Montgomery at this point in his
career, you know, running backs, their shelf life is a lot different, I think, than other position
groups. And that's unfortunate, but that's kind of the reality as well. And he's been, you know,
he's been getting a heavy workload for many years right now for the Detroit Lions, for the Chicago
Bears as well. So he's got a lot of wear and tear on him, but he does seem to be able to withstand
that physical element. And I'll throw in this other little wrinkle to, Cody. There was a report from
ESPN that said the Broncos hired his college quarterback from Iowa State. Kyle Kempth as a new
offensive assistant to the team. So Kyle Kempth was the quarterback at Iowa State when Montgomery
was the running back. And if in fact he has been hired by the Broncos as an offensive assistant,
you know, that would certainly thicken the plot a little bit. Those guys were teammates to the
exact same years, 2016 through 2018 with the cyclones there. And I won't hold that against them. I won't
as much as I love the Hawkeyes.
You know what?
The cyclones, if they can play in the NFL and they can contribute to the Broncos, that's okay
with me.
So I think if he comes to Denver, Cody, it can't be with the assumption that, oh, you're
guaranteed to get 20 carries a game because I just don't know if he's that guy right now.
And is Sean Payton, that coach to give a guy 20 plus carries in the game.
I mean, I want to go back and I don't know this at the top of my head,
but I want to know how often Alvin Camara had 20 plus carries in a season over the course of history.
Sarah, let's go back if you can.
If you could pull it up, 2021, if you could pull up how many games Camara had 20 plus carries overall.
I'm astonished to know what that is like because the usage of Camer was very unique, right?
It was, hey, this guy, he never had 1,000 yards rushing, but he was effective out of the backfield.
This guy was a 1K yards from scrimmage, 500 plus rushing.
500 plus receiving, okay, there's that.
And then we've seen him pair up running back from time to time.
You go back to the Mark Ingrams, you go back to the Deuce McAllister's of the world.
How can you pair up somebody with R.J. Harvey?
This, I think, is a question.
Can he get to that formula?
What was that like for Camara back in 2021 if you have that?
Yeah, he missed four games that year, Cody, but he had six such outings of 20 plus
carries, including 30 in the final week of the season.
had, let's see, one, two, three, four in the first half.
Then he got hurt.
And then he had one, two in the second half of the season.
So, yeah, I mean, to your point, never had a thousand yards.
I mean, and Camara is the type of guy who I feel like, shoot, that guy is averaging, what,
4.8 yard, 4.3 yards of carry.
So it's not necessarily like, okay, yeah, he's, I mean, he's putzing around out there.
I think they could have leaned on him for more, but they obviously just utilized him so much as a
receiver that they didn't give him those. I mean, you look at his rushing attempts,
especially early on in his career, Cody. I mean, my goodness, his first year, he had zero,
zero games with 20 plus rushing attempts. Second season, zero games. Third season, zero games.
Fourth season, one game. It was the last game of the regular season. And then, you know,
once he finally got into year five, that's when they started to feed him a little bit more in that
regard. But the majority of his career, to your point, less than 20 carries per game.
Okay. So the average typically there, if I'm looking at as well, I'm even going back to 2020 here.
I mean, the most he had in a season was 22 and the least amount that he had, I think, was six attempts.
So aside from that, you have multiple games, one two, yeah, you probably have 13, 14 games where he at least has 12 plus carries, right?
Okay. That seems to be about when we look at where Denver's at, the same kind of overall finish that we've seen with.
RJ Harvey and J.K. Dobbins from time to time, where they get to like that 15, 14, 13, 12 carries a game.
And it's split between two backs. And obviously he was splitting time with Latavius Murray in 2020,
which Latavius went off against the Broncos that year for over 100 yards in Denver.
So, yeah, I mean, I'm very curious to see, but the approach from Sean and them for each has to be to sell Denver as a place where these guys can come and run the football while also have an impact.
I'll be curious to see about that.
but that also opens us to a discussion.
If the Broncos aren't looking at a veteran and free agency,
should they draft a running back with the 30th overall pick?
In this year's NFL draft, Sarah and I will discuss on today's episode of the show.

Well, time feels like a flat circle because I feel like just a year ago,
we were talking about the idea of the Broncos using a first round pick on the running back position.
And here we are again, it is a topic of discussion on today's episode,
to Lockdown Broncos.
And Broncos country, we appreciate you so much for rocking with us throughout the offseason.

scouting combine.
The rumor mill is going to be heating up.

content head to the show notes today so you can subscribe to that we really appreciate you
supporting the show in that way cody let's talk about it i mean a first round running back
is those words are like nails on a chalkboard to a lot of people out there when it comes to
raster building so many folks out there don't like it i know that sean peyton and george
patten have both been part of it i mean they i think george's first draft with the vikings they
took adrian peterson and i believe sean one of his first drafts are early on
Roughly, they took Reggie Bush and Mark Ingram in the first round of maybe the first five
draft.
So these guys are not averse to that idea.
And we saw, you know, George in his first draft in Denver trades up into the 30s to get
Javante Williams.
So we know that this position is of great value to these guys.
But situationally, if the right player is there, it could make sense for the Broncos to take
a running back at number 30 overall.
Yeah, it could. And I would say typically the perspective of running backs in round one has changed over the last, what, four or five years.
More consistently, it's kind of considered taboo to draft a guy around one unless he's a true game changer, right?
And I think it's always up for debate what that type of guy looks like and the body of work at the college level.
I think right now there's a lot of discussion. There's a lot of debate about who is the running back one in this year's NFL draft.
I think a lot of people are still talking themselves into Jeremiah Love as a potential round one prospect.
But if anything, they're saying at worst, he's a high round two guy, so to speak.
What did Denver do last year?
They drafted R.J. Harvey in the second round of the NFL draft there.
So do you go with a second year player and a rookie back in back years in terms of what your run game is going to look like?
I think from the optic standpoint of it, I could see it making sense if there's a guy that you absolutely love.
And I think the bigger question is, what does that?
I mean, who is the RV one? Is it going to be RJ Harvey? Where I think a lot of people are saying,
well, RJ struggled at times to hit the hole, to see everything open up. And I even saw something
posted on social media the other day about if you take away some of his most explosive runs,
which I think is a silly practice, that he's really only averaging 2.9 yards per carry.
Okay, we can play the if game, but he did have some explosive plays. Like, that's part of his game.
And Sean Payton has talked about the Broncos run game scheme needing to be a little bit better.
is that a running back issue? Is that a scheme issue? Maybe. Maybe it's a combination of both there.
But RJ, I think, is going to be just fine, Sarah. But the question is, if you do draft the running back in the first round,
who is it? There are five running backs right now that are really kind of the top of everyone's big boards.
I already mentioned Jeremiah. I love. Notre Dame has another one in Judarian Price. Nebraska has a
really good running back in Emmett Johnson. Washington has a Jonah Coleman. And then you have Wake Forest.
You have DeMond Claiborne out there. Aside from that, really, really.
it's love and everybody else kind of behind him at this point.
It really is.
And it feels like this year's running back draft is like very thin in the top three rounds.
Like it seems like most mock drafts that I look at that go beyond two or three rounds or, you know,
they go beyond one round, I should say.
They go up to two to three rounds.
They only include those top three guys for the most part that you talked about it.
So I think what everybody's wondering right now is, you know,
would Jeremiah love expecting to come off the board rather early because he seems like he might
be one of those true blue chip guys in this class, does that push Jadarian Price now up the board
for everybody else? And does that push him into the first round conversation? Because teams at the
back half, around one, they're not going to be able to bank on Jadarian Price being there.
If there's anybody in the top 20 teams of round two that says, hey, we really like this running back.
We're going to take a shot. Well, any playoff teams from,
last year that want to add a running back like Jedarian Price, who has the size, who has the
physicality, who really only lacked the opportunity. And frankly, that works to his advantage going
forward because he averaged six yards of carry had 13 TDs total last season and still
got a ton of tread left on those tires. So NFL teams are going to be very excited to see what he
does this week, how he interviews, because Cody, I've, I've already heard like Daniel Jeremiah
Maya has been talking about the idea of Jedarian Price being a fit for Denver at number 30 overall.
He's got that physical element.
But to your point, do you want to go into this season with a rookie and a second year guy who didn't exactly show you what he needed to?
For an explosive back, RJ's explosive runs mostly, I feel like, came between the tackles.
And that's odd because you get him out onto the perimeter.
He had one of the worst, I think it was EPA or yards per carry or whatever it was, when,
getting outside the tackles, like 40 something.
He was ranked 40 something out of 40 something in the running back position.
So it was bad when he got outside the tackles.
That's odd to me.
That doesn't make sense for an explosive back who you said might have the best vision in this draft.
You would think getting him outside the tackles, that one cut and go, that's going to be his game.
So I'm fascinated by this whole discussion, but I think any draft pick that the Broncos make has to still be
accompanied by a veteran edition, whether it's J.K. Dobbins, David Montgomery or somebody else.
No, I agree with you. I think if that room is going to be revamped away, I think everybody,
I think we ran a poll with Broncos country. I think 75% of them said that yes,
the Broncos need to revamp the running back room and, you know, and add people alongside
RJ Harvey. I agree. And to the point, I think with the RJ statistic you just threw out there,
I think so much of that is defense is saying, hey, we know that this guy can get to the outside.
when he's in, we are trying to just force him back inside.
We are trying to take away that outside stuff.
And you can see how defenses lined up with the way they brought a safety up to the
strong side every time that he was in.
It almost kind of made sense that they were trying to take away the outside run game
because RJ Harvey was in the game.
So it goes back to scheme.
It goes back to tendencies, so to speak, that when a guy's in,
defenses are playing you a certain way.
That has to change.
You can't let defenses.
And I think that's one of the bigger things of the Broncos run game.
you cannot let defenses dictate what you do offensively.
You have to find a way to change it because if you're just saying,
you know what, if they come out in this front, we can't do this.
That's just like waving the white flag and saying, hey, they took away our option.
Now we've got to figure out how to win this way.
It's find a way to make it work.
That's what good coaches do.
And that's what I want to see from this running back room.
But I don't know.
I want to ask you real quick.
And we'll obviously ask this to Broncos country.
This would kind of be our we're going to do bonus episodes here.
Obviously throughout the off season every Wednesday, our bonus episode is going to be the
question of the day. Let's throw it out right now. Question of the day, are the Broncos better off
going with a rookie in this year's NFL draft or a veteran running back in free agency? Make sure you
let us know here. Locked on Broncos. Obviously, those in the everyday or club are going to get that
question as well. But I want to ask you this real quick, because then we'll address them the bonus show.
Where do you lean on rookie or veteran in this situation? I definitely lean on the veteran for
from where the Broncos are at in terms of being ready to win a Super Bowl and they're being
players out there that could realistically help this team, you know, whether it is, Brees Hall,
I mean, if he gets the non-exclusive tag or whatever it may be, I mean, certainly you feel
like a Brees Hall, a Kenneth Walker, a Travis E.TN, even players like Montgomery and even J.K.
Dobbins to a certain extent, like I just feel like those types of guys, we saw the value with
JK in this offense last year when he was healthy when he was running well.
So I think definitely my mind immediately leans toward veterans,
although I know that traditional roster building 101 would say,
hey, draft the running backs because you can find there a dime a dozen.
Yeah, we'll see how the Broncos plan to approach everything this week.
Is there at the NFL Combine, connections, relationships?
Obviously, these are things we're going to be monitoring throughout the entire process
leading up to the NFL draft on April 23rd.
I believe that is one is going to take place here.
But Broncos country coming up next.
Speaking of connections, Davis Webb, the new offensive coordinator for the Broncos,
could he potentially be a lure to certain free agents here in NFL free and see?
We'll discuss on today's episode of the show.

Davis Webb is the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos and even a former free agent prospect like Stefan Diggs to the Broncos.
We're interested in last year, had high praise for Davis Webb and mentioned him as maybe one of those reasons he considered coming to Denver.
Now that he's got a little bit more power on paper, so to speak, could Davis Webb maybe be a lure for certain free agents here as free agency approaches on Marshall?
Just a few weeks away, sir, I mean, let's dive into this.
What are the connections that we are looking at here when it comes to Davisville?
We were talking about David Montgomery earlier with Louie Annie, John Morton,
but I think it is interesting to kind of point out a little bit,
Davis Webb, the allure, the momentum building around him and his name,
as maybe a reason players might want to come to the Mile High City,
especially former teammates.
There's no doubt.
I mean, you said it.
Stefan Diggs mentioned Davis Webb as a reason why he was considering the Broncos.
And we know Evan Ingram was a teammate of Davis Webb's with the New York Giants.
But how about a couple names that could come in and help this team?
team immediately on offense. Davis Webb has direct connections to tight end Daniel Bellinger,
who scored a touchdown against the Broncos in their game against each other last year,
as well as Juan Dale Robinson, who also played a pretty darn good game against Denver on
that particular afternoon. And actually, oddly enough, I just became, I believe, Cody,
the shortest player to ever have a thousand receiving yards in an NFL season, kind of a weird
fact that he'll be able to stake his claim to for the time being. But those two guys,
They were on the roster with the Giants as early as 2022.
That was the last time Davis was on that roster as well.
So it may not have necessarily built as strong of a bond with those guys as somebody like Evan
Ingram, who's been around longer, who's played longer, who may have come into the league
with Davis Webb once upon a time.
But certainly you feel like, hey, those guys, they're in the same locker room together,
the ties that bind.
You can pitch now a vision for these players as their offensive coordinator.
And I would say in the case of Daniel Bellinger, he kind of happens to fit exactly what the Broncos need as an inline player.
Cody, this guy doesn't have the most spectacular pass catching stats, but he had a 9.66 on the Rass scale back in 2022.
So he's what we refer to on Lockdown Broncos as a rass hole when it comes to his athleticism.
And certainly, you know, he would fill a big need for this team, but it wouldn't necessarily be that big name player that a lot of fans are looking for.
Yeah, and I think that's exactly where Broncos country when they hear you say,
Daniel Bellinger, like, wait, Sarah, that's not the big swing.
No, I don't think that would be the big swing.
But I think Denver has to make at least two moves that tied in, right?
I think they got to make a big swing.
And then adding another player like Bellinger to the mix, that's your Troutman replacement right there,
in my opinion, at least.
And the things that you can do with him, I think that makes up good depth.
And then you keep a guy like Nate Atkins, essentially as that fourth guy.
And then you keep some guys on your practice squad.
That way, that position isn't completely like if one injury happens,
and all of a sudden you're in dire straits, that's what Denver's approach has to be.
I like that connection there.
Wondale Robinson is also interesting at 5A, 185.
I feel like with Wondale, you can do maybe some of those things that you wanted to do a little bit with Marvin Mims, so to speak, right?
But I think Marvin's role shouldn't just be the gadget guy.
Wondale could be a gadget guy.
But, man, you look at his volume over the last two years, Sarah, for the Giants and back-to-back seasons.
He had 93 catches in 2024.
He had 92 catches in 2025.
He surpassed over 1,000 yards, as you mentioned this year for the first time in his career,
four touchdowns, 11 yards per catch.
And he also had 140 targets.
But think about this, sir, 92 catches on 140 targets.
He was heavily featured after the injury to Malik neighbors.
The Giants' offense had to rely on him quite a bit.
And, I mean, I think it just goes to show that, hey, if something happened to your number one guy,
well, you could force feed this guy.
Not to say that Wondell would come in and be a number one receiver,
but man, you pair him up with the guys that you have.
Maybe there is something to be had about his production.
I would be very curious, though, to see how the rotation at wide receiver would look,
because generally, Cortland is going to have what, 53% of the snaps in the game,
whoever gets the second most snaps usually around 47%.
And then the next guy's like at 43% there in terms of the rotation.
What would that look like here for Sean Payton?
That's one thing I'm interested to know, but I want to throw a little bit of an Easter egg out
to Broncos country. I want you to go back. You can find the all 22 film from week one against
the Tennessee Titans. It's Cortland Sutton's touchdown down the left sideline. The play I don't
think was necessarily to go to him pre-snap. I think the guy was initially Marvin Mims.
I want you guys to watch that play, watch it from the sideline. I want you guys to watch Marvin,
who's wide open. And I want you to scan your eyes down to the sideline and find Davis Webb.
And I want you to see just what is there. That's why I think if Davis Webb,
going to be calling plays.
I think some other guys are going to eat quite a bit.
I'm excited about it, but a little Easter egg,
I want to throw out there.
Your thoughts, Sarah,
and what I just talked about.
Yeah,
I'm going to go back and check that out because I want to see what he was doing there.
But you know what,
Davis Webb being the OC and having a bigger voice,
whether he is calling plays or not or on a part time,
whatever it ends up being,
I feel like we are going to see a lot more involvement
from guys like Marvin,
from guys like Evan.
I'm excited about that.
I think that's why maybe I tend to kind of gravitate away from somebody like Wondell Robinson,
not because he's not a good player, but because like you said, I mean, he's, he's had 140 targets each of the last two seasons.
He's a high volume player.
There's a lot of teams out there that, you know, need receivers that have young quarterbacks, that have cap space that will spend the money.
And he has a lot of connections like Brian Dable and Tennessee.
So I think it will require some competitiveness to be able to get him in the first place.
But I do want to point out something about his game that I think took another step forward this past season that maybe, you know, flies under the radar a little bit.
For the first three years of his NFL career, Cody, the average depth of target for Wondale Robinson was 6.2 yards in his rookie season, 5.3 in his second year, 4.8 in year three.
So what that indicates to me is that they're trying to get him the ball quickly and let him be a playmaker after the catch.
Well, how about this from this past season?
Average depth of target was 8.5 yards, which was nearly double what he had last season or the previous season, which is indicating to me that he not only was that guy after the catch that they get the ball quickly, but now we started to get him involved on more intermediate routes, deeper routes down the field, started to be able to trust his overall game better.
So he may have taken that next step in his evolution as a player to where the front office, the scouts, the pro scouts, George Pays.
and they're looking at that and they're saying, man, this guy's taking that next step in his career.
Like, we could be getting a steal here.
If we sign him now at the price of roughly 17.6 million per season, which is his projected value from Spot Track on a 70 million contract, which is very hefty, no doubt, but certainly something to consider.
For the Broncos, how come nobody, sir?
How come nobody is talking about Romeo Dobbs a little bit as an option for this team?
And we're probably guilty of this as well.
I've seen, we've talked about every other wide receiver, big names, like we've been all in a like, hey, trade for a legit guy.
But we haven't talked about Romeo Dobbs as a legitimate playmaker that maybe the Broncos could have interest in.
So I think that's interesting.
Wondale's interesting.
What is the prototype, right?
And obviously we're going to hear from Sean today.
Will he give us anything as to team specific needs when he sits down with Kay Adams at some point this week, which we have been told.
That's going to happen.
Is she going to bring up the wide receiver room again to him?
I'm curious about this.
Broncos country, we're curious to hear your thoughts as one.
Just a reminder, our question of the day that will be used in tomorrow's bonus episode of the show is all relative to whether or not the Bronco should draft a running back in the first round of this year's NFL draft or stick with a veteran.
Make sure you let us know your thoughts here.
