They had us in the first half.
Not going to lie.
The Denver Broncos scored 33 points in the fourth quarter
and an epic comeback against the New York Giants.
We'll break it all down and more here on today's brand new episode, Lockdown Broncos.

but also Demarius Thomas at halftime.
Welcome into a brand new episode, Lockdown Broncos, your daily Denver Broncos podcast, part of the Lockdown Podcast Network, where you know, it's your team every day.
I'm Cody Roark, Broncos reporter from my high sports.
Joined, as always, by Sarah Bedinger, site expert over there, predominantly orange.com.
We got a lot to break down in an epic comeback fashion here by the Denver Broncos against the New York Giants.
We'll go through and talk about how they had an impossible win.
And they made the impossible possible in a comeback scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter.
Plus, we'll talk about how the Broncos offense got going.
What led to them generating such a massive run?
And we're going to hand out our game balls here, giving one to, obviously,
some players on the Broncos defense, including Justin Sternad.
You're going to get all that here on today's show, brought to you by friends over there at

Sarah, what a game that this was here for the Broncos.
And through three quarters, it was abysmal, it was frustrating.
It was borderline embarrassing.
at this standpoint. Fans were leaving the stadium with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
And then Bo Nix, the Broncos defense, Justin's Sternard, a lot happened.
This was a roller coaster of a game as the Broncos win, 33, 32.
The wildest comeback that I can recall as a Broncos fan, Cody.
I mean, I remember back in 2012, there was a game where the Broncos beat the Los Angeles,
or at the time, the San Diego Chargers, when they were down 24 to 3 at half.
It felt like a huge turning point in the whole patient.
Manning era where everybody was ready to be done with the Peyton Manning experiment at that
point too they were all frustrated about the way that he was playing and similarly now everybody's
frustrated at Bo Nix everybody's frustrated at Sean Peyton look the way that they came back in this
game Cody I mean we can talk about all the other details later this comeback was absolutely
insane the Broncos were down 19 nothing in this game and then they made it 19 to 8 and you
started to think okay hey they got a shot
to at least do something, right?
And then they break up a pass.
That was a perfect opportunity for them to kind of keep climbing back into the game.
But instead of the past hitting the ground, it falls into the waiting arms of Giants
tight end Theo Johnson.
And he runs in for a touchdown to make it 26 to 8 at that point.
My wife left the room.
My kids left the room.
I was sitting there.
I wrote my post game report up.
I know you were filling out the lockdown Broncos script.
Like, it was done.
At 26 to 8, the game was.
over and then the craziness really happened.
They forced us to delete all of our post game content, essentially like our script,
how everything was going in this game here.
That was one of the things that stood out to me,
is just the resilience of this team.
And Sarah, you know, on a day, and that's what I was saying too,
like on a day where you're honoring Demarius Thomas, that Super Bowl 50 team,
I was like this was one of the most embarrassing fashions that you can put out there.
And then all of a sudden, as we've seen time and time again, like we did in that Super Bowl 50 year,
the Broncos caught lightning in a bottle.
I mean, Sarah, I believe the statistic here in terms of the comeback here for the Broncos.
Our good friend Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post put this out there that the Broncos are the first team to win a game down 18 plus points in the final six minutes.
1,600 games have happened where that has been the case where the team's up 18 plus points and the fourth have won.
That was until this game.
The comeback kids, the cardiac kids, the fourth quarter heroics, whatever you want to call it, this was a defining game here for the Broncos.
And yes, of course, as you mentioned here,
there are plenty of issues that we are going to address with this team.
I think in tomorrow's episode, but this is a comeback victory here.
And a lot of it was Bo Nix and the offense capitalizing on the defense in that fourth quarter.
The defense not given up after that play you had just described the Theo Johnson.
The offense started getting a rhythm.
They started getting going.
Bo Nix was using his legs.
He was finding Evan Ingram.
They were just marching down the field.
And all of a sudden, Troy Franklin, catches an improbable,
deflected pass for a touchdown.
And all of a sudden, we started looking at each other in the press
Watch, like, okay, this is interesting.
They're making this thing a little bit dicey here.
Overall, I'm just blown away with the Broncos did.
275 yards of offense there in the fourth quarter.
33 points in the fourth quarter.
This was, I mean, I don't even have a word for it.
Stunning, impeccable, you name it.
Yeah, and really the play that we need to discuss is one that we'll talk about as the show goes along as well.
I don't want anybody that's listening to think that we're ignoring it or diminishing it,
but the interception from Justin Sernod was the game-changing, game-altering play that ultimately set the Broncos up because you had to steal a possession somehow.
The Broncos managed to do this without an on-side kick in the fourth quarter, which is actually crazy when you think about it.
Because the fact that they came back down from how many points they were down was so little time left without an on-side kick.
And the Giants had no reason to be putting the ball in harm's way.
It was a terrible, terrible mistake by head coach Brian Dable and the quarterback Jackson DART to even think about putting the ball into harm's way with what, like four-ish minutes, four and a half minutes left at that point.
And what the Broncos did to capitalize on that, the offense was inept for the majority of the game and the faucet turned on in the fourth quarter.
the touchdown run by Bo Nix to take the lead 30 to 20 whatever it was 30 to 26.
Yeah.
One of the craziest, coolest play designs.
I mean, we'll have plenty of complaining to do about Sean Payton later in the week, like you said.
That was one of the coolest play designs that I have ever seen.
It was just the perfect moment for it as well.
Somebody had made the comparison, not to compare Bow Nix to Tim Tebow, but it had that
Tim Tebow vibe to it, right?
The design run. What was it? That was against the Jets, though, on the Thursday night game where
Tebow did that one. Ironically, this one comes on a Sunday afternoon against the Giants.
And look, I thought the Giants defensively had a really good game plan.
I mean, you mentioned the inept offense. We'll dive into that later on this week.
But I just think for them to be able to lock in, just focus in that fourth quarter and capitalize
on these big plays. And we even talk about guys, too, like, can we talk about how big Marvin Mims was
in this game, especially in the fourth quarter, that clutch catch on the back shoulder,
late to get the Broncos set up in a great field position.
And then really on those final seconds, Denver has no timeouts left.
They're trailing at this juncture 32 to 30.
He catches a crazy pass that was really kind of intended for Cortland Sutton,
just great focus.
Marvin was so big in his game.
Marvin was a big part of the offense,
the energizer bunny here that I think that they were needing.
That happened early on in the game.
And then obviously came through in the clutch times here.
But then Cortland Sutton coming up big, back shoulder catch to set up
the Will Lutz game winning field goal with two seconds left here.
It was incredible.
I want us to go to Garrett Bulls.
We caught up with him in the locker room after the game,
and he mentioned something about this and kind of drew a little bit of a parallel
from Cortland to DT.
I was telling that DT looks down on both of us,
and that's what he did tonight.
So, you know, it was a great team win.
Obviously, we didn't start the way we wanted to start,
but we finished the way that we wanted to finish.
You know, my quote, doesn't matter how you start,
matters how you finish is what we did tonight.
And I'm proud of this team.
I'm proud of Bo.
I'm proud of this old line.
You know, Pousal stepping up and Frank coming in and step up and our defense is doing their thing.
This is a great all-round team win.
Really perfect right there from Garrett Bulls as well.
And it was so fitting for Cortland Sutton to make that play on this particular day, wasn't it?
I mean, yeah, it wasn't the best day at the office for the offense for the majority of this game.
But when you look at what they did in the fourth quarter, I mean, it was almost like a new game started for the offense in the fourth.
quarter. Like, when you look at the final numbers of this game, you would think that that was
spread out over four quarters, but they did almost nothing up until the point that this comeback began
late in the game. It's, it's insane. The amount of production that they had, the way that they came
through, everybody making clutch plays, the ball literally bouncing their way, like you mentioned,
on the Troy Franklin touchdown catch. I mean, it all had to work together for the Broncos to
figure out a way to get it done. And like you said, there's the only word that you can really use
is like, you're stunned by a victory like this.
Yeah.
And look, could you imagine being on the other side of that if you're the New York Giants?
You know, we caught up with Jonathan Cooper, Nick Benito in locker room, Malcolm Roach,
and even Malcolm said, I would not want to be in that locker room right now on the other side of something like this.
You know, so a gut punch there, the Broncos, they extinguished the flame a little bit as we talked about in Jackson Dart and the New York Giants.
We had a bunch of Giants fans who commented on our show as the game was ongoing.
They deleted their comments and now they're nowhere to be seen.
So enjoy it.
Go eat a bacon, egg, and cheese.
have fun here. But you know what? We're going to have fun on this post game report here.
The Broncos defense, they had to overcome a lot in this game-winning drive. And they
help set the Broncos up for this game-winning drive. We'll dive into the defense's performance and hear
from Justin Sarnat here on today's episode, Locked on Broncos. Today's show is brought to you by our friends

What in the world do we make of the Denver Broncos defensive performance in a game
which, man, they almost had a huge letdown after taking the lead in the fourth quarter.
The defense came through in big ways in this game.
We got a lot to discuss, especially a penalty that almost cost the Broncos a win late in this one.
Broncos country, wow, what a win for the Denver Broncos against the New York Giants in week
seven.
Hey, we haven't mentioned it yet, but the Broncos are in first place in the AFC West.
The Chargers lost to the Colts on Sunday.
And the Chiefs, they beat the Raiders.
but the Chiefs are still a game behind the Broncos as of right now.
Pretty crazy.
The Broncos are five and two for the first time in 10 years.
And you know what?
With the Super Bowl 50 team in the house, Cody, I couldn't help but think this is exactly
the type of game that Super Bowl 50 team consistently found ways to win.
There was a lot less points on the board for those games, but it was kind of finding
ways to pull a rabbit out of a hat and make big plays when you needed to.
That's exactly what the Broncos defense did in this game at the best possible time.
Yeah, and I think it all starts with Justin Sternad's interception.
You mentioned it. That was the play that Sean Payton said when we talked to him at the podium was the difference between them losing and winning this game here.
He came up with a big play, had pretty good yards on the return, and then it helped Bo Nix and the offense with great field position kind of set things up for a scoring drive.
And that's the complimentary football that you need here.
And I think in the fourth quarter, it summarized things perfectly here.
The offense couldn't do anything for three whole quarters.
You know, the defense, they would give up a couple of chunk plays.
you know, there's a couple busted coverages or just plays where Jackson Dart, I mean,
hats off to the Giants offense.
They also made some incredible plays extending with his legs, running after contact,
taking advantage and running wide open for touchdowns, you know, in the run game with Tyrone
Tracy early on here, you know, and for the defense to be able to buckle down in the fourth quarter
and respond and get a stop, that was huge, sir.
But I do think we definitely got to talk about the drama here late in this game.
I mean, the Broncos defense, you know, they're up 30 to 26 at this point.
All you need to do is get a stop, you know, because a field goal wouldn't matter
for the New York Giants. Just got to keep them out of the end zone.
The Broncos were penalized three times on this final drive here that ultimately led to Jackson
Darton, the Giants getting put on the one yard line where they punched it in and scored a terrible
call, in my opinion, on Riley Moss on PI. I felt like that was such a terrible play.
And it came in so late too. This was one of those games. And I never liked to blame officiating.
But it felt like officiating was leaning towards supporting this little linsanity run
that the Giants, they were certainly on here with Jackson Dart.
Well, seven first downs for the New York Giants on penalties alone in this game.
I saw the Rams beat the Jaguars, I think 35 to 7 in London on Sunday, Cody.
The Rams had eight first downs on penalties, and they won by 28 points.
So when you're talking about how big of a difference that makes over the course of a game,
like to be given seven first downs via penalty is egregious.
And I think that's what Sean Peyton was so ticked off about at the end of the game.
And he talked about it in his post game presser.
He's like, I can't criticize the officials, but I can disagree with them.
And that's a huge note there to be made because you disagree with what are you supposed.
I know that Riley Moss is the number one most hated player on the Denver Broncos by so many fans out there who want to see him get benched.
But what are you supposed to do on that play?
I mean, you can't play the ball on an underthrown path.
in today's NFL because you're going to get called for a penalty.
It would be better if you just let the guy, you know, see if he might drop it, you know,
and just move out of the way and see what would happen because what are you supposed to do?
I mean, he, that's, that's so frustrating.
This defense had to overcome so much in this game when you're given seven first downs via
penalty and you still end up having 10 quarterback hits and four sacks.
Like, even that play that we referenced earlier, the great play.
play past broken up.
I can't remember who broke up the pass,
but Theo Johnson catching the carum and running it in for a touchdown.
I mean,
there's so much that how are you supposed to overcome that plus seven first downs given
to the other team via penalty and a number of which were past interference calls
that were highly questionable.
And then you have the offensive tackle for the Giants is jumping a false start every
single play.
I mean, almost every play.
Jermaine Illumonore was jumping to get in.
advantage and it wasn't being called.
It was like the Joanne Taylor treatment all over again.
I'm with you, Cody.
I don't like to blame officiating, but when you see stuff happening over and over and over again,
I mean, it has to be called out.
Yeah, no 100% and lucky, you know, like I said, the players, the coaches, they can't say
anything because they'll get fine for it.
But, you know, Sean get down.
I thought Sean was going to get tossed on that specific play.
I mean, I've never seen Sean so he he'll probably get fine for that.
I imagine this upcoming week.
you like to see a coach going down there.
But at that point, after Jackson Dart scored,
which I'm surprised, like they scored on first down.
I mean, Sarah, if they just run a couple of plays and then score late,
like if they trusted their offense, like the Broncos wouldn't have a chance to come back in this.
So the defense, you know, made enough plays as is, you know, like I said,
I think the Giants, they capitalize on a couple of big plays.
Some explosives were really the difference here.
But, you know, Denver's defense, and my narrative was, even as we were getting ready
to write, like the post game thing going to the fourth quarter, like,
all right, the Broncos are probably going to lose this one.
And what I was getting ready to write was like the defense has carried the water for this team for so long that it's like, you know what?
Like the water finally overflowed a little bit.
And you can't be too mad at the defense.
There's a lot to clean up here.
But Denver's defense, once again, I mean, they came up big when necessary.
We hope Brandon Jones is okay.
We didn't get to see him in the locker room.
Obviously took a shot from Talano Hu Fonga on what should have been a game ceiling interception initially here.
But, you know, the NFL loves a little bit of extra drama.
And certainly fans were treated to that in this game here specifically, you know, six of 15.
The Broncos defense held the Giants on third down.
You know, outside of a couple of those plays.
You mentioned those penalties.
That really was the difference here.
I like the Broncos approach here.
Drake Greenlaw made his debut here, which was nice to see.
But I think we have some questions.
We have some things we've got to dive into with Justin Sternard.
Here's exactly what he said.
We cut up with him post game here in the locker room.
Yeah, for sure.
You know, we obviously think for a good for us in that second half.
And he was able to make a big play.
You're able to keep playing at the team, both sides of the ball.
able to come out here with the victory.
You guys are down 19-0-0 going in the fourth.
You're down like five minutes ago.
Did doubt pre-pin?
It's human nature.
Yeah, I wouldn't say prep in, but like, you know,
we just kind of talked about, you know,
just go out and keep playing.
You know, we got to a point where I think there was,
I don't know, eight minutes we last year.
One goal line defense, you know,
forcing their hand,
really trying to stop the run
and get the fallback for our offense.
And things worked out today,
and it's just, it's huge to get to the final two.
What does it like to see that fourth quarter like that
with both accounting for four touchdowns right there?
You get through 33 and five.
No, it's huge to see the offense get rolling like that, you know, late.
Obviously, I think we all know, like, you think got to get better as a whole for us to get to where we want to get to.
But for them to put up those numbers in the fourth quarter and for us to come out here with a victory.
It was his play that ultimately made it happen, right?
And when you see that this team came back in the fourth quarter and won this game, we can't forget Justin Sarnad's play.
We'll give him a game ball later on.
Spoiler alert to everybody out there.
but Cody, the defense in this one, not only do they have to overcome all the stuff that we just talked about and to overcome the doubt that whether it was creeping in or not, I mean, everybody was leaving the building.
There's no way you can tell me that you didn't have a little bit of, ah, shoot, this one's over a little bit when fans are leaving the stadium, you know, as you're getting blown out by the Giants.
And then it's fourth and 19.
You're up by four points.
and the Giants somehow find a way to convert it and get a penalty on top of it.
I mean, what the defense overcame in this one, it's pretty crazy to think about.
But I'm glad that they did because they, just insured out, if anybody deserves to, you know,
sleep well tonight knowing that his team won.
100% look.
And it wasn't pretty, but the Broncos find a way to win.
They sit atop atop at the AFC West at 5 and 2.
A matchup looms heater with the Dallas Cowboys coming up next.
We're going to dive into our game balls here from this game here in the Broncos fourth quarter fast and furious comeback rally.

Sarah, game balls.
Let's hand them out because I was teetering on game balls and blame balls, right?
The Broncos lose.
We hand out blame balls.
If they win, we hand out game balls here.
Look, for as rough of Bo Nix's performance was,
and I'd say through three quarters of play, Sarah,
and even some moments in the fourth quarter,
I feel like we've got to give Bo Nix a game ball here for the outbursts
that the Broncos offense had.
Certainly, he made some good decisions.
Obviously, he had a couple of touchdown passes here.
His fourth quarter touchdown run was obviously a huge catalyst here that
help the Broncos win this game.
And just, I'd say an impressive throw to Cortland Sutton at the end of the game when you
needed a big time play.
He came up big.
Yes, there's some criticism to be had to Bow.
We'll diving on tomorrow's episode show.
But I think Bo for the fourth quarter deserves a game ball.
Absolutely.
Bow Nicks in the fourth quarter against the Giants, according to pro football focused, 76.2 adjusted
completion rate, 218 total yards for total touchdowns.
And the Broncos overcame a 19 point deficit.
He, of course, had that.
big 21-yard rushing touchdown, but Bo really put the team on his shoulders there in the fourth quarter,
Cody. And I know that it takes a village to make a comeback that big, but the quarterback is obviously
the one who has to make it happen. You have to make that throw on third and 11 down, deep down the
right sideline to Marvin Mims and put it in a spot where he can go get it. You have to put the ball
on Evan Ingram so he can create after the catch. You have to put the ball on Cortland Sutton
to set up the game-winning field goal. So yes, Bo Nix.
does get a game ball, despite the fact that the majority of this game was brutal offensively
for him and for the Broncos, but that fourth quarter was undeniable. And Bo Nix of all would not
be denied. And he had the great zinger right after the game. CBS asked him on the field,
you know, give me your thoughts about the comeback win. And his first thing that he said, he's like,
I feel sorry for the people who left early, you know. And the confidence this guy has is insane,
right? I mean, saw him after an incomplete pass, winking at the side.
headline last week against the Jets.
I mean,
I'm not saying that Bo is a little too flippant out there or anything,
but I think that this guy just has an unflappable mentality that has to be discussed and talked
about.
So he might have got a blame ball if the game had ended at 26 to 8 or whatever,
but unfortunately for him,
it did not end at that point.
And he put together one of the greatest comebacks we've ever seen.
Yeah, and as Garrett Bull said,
it's not about how you start,
it's about how you finish.
I think Bo Nicks finished the right way here for the Broncos.
I feel like we'd be remiss.
Look, the guy who won the game for the Broncos,
yes, it was a team effort there, but Will Lutz,
we're going to give one to big deal, Will,
obviously, booting in the 39-yard field goal.
I mean, Sarah, I want to go through here
the energy in the stadium at that moment, right?
You got, obviously, the Broncos, they're trailing.
You find, you know, Marvin on one play here,
and then all of a sudden you find this back-shoulder throw here
to Cortland Sutton, and you see the stadium erupt.
I mean, it was the loudest I've ever heard in Powerfield
a mile high.
And then you see the offense running down to spike the ball,
both spikes it.
And then everyone's like, yeah, like just the energy.
There's a lot of pressure there for a guy like Will Lutz in a situation like that.
Look, it's a 39-yarder.
It's not always a gimmie, as we've seen with extra points.
The Giants missed two extra points in this game.
This was a pressure-filled situation and hats off to Will to be able to nail it
because sometimes the nerves of something that big can overcome a kicker sometimes.
So big deal, Will, I can't say what other fans call him because it's not
I can't say it on our show here, but you know exactly where I'm going.
It rhymes with Lutz and it's big.
The Broncos came up big and Will gets one here.
He does 100%.
I mean, and he had to exercise some demons, right, from that Chiefs game last year,
where it was a very similar situation.
You're down by two points and you get a, your offense puts you in position for a chip shot field goal.
So I feel like this is effectively exercising the demons for Will Lutz as well.
How were you feeling in that situation, though, like when they were lining up,
I didn't even want to watch.
I wanted to leave the room and I wanted to say,
just tell me what happened and I'm going to go do our shows for the day,
you know, and just,
but you had to sit there and you had to watch it.
That's what we do to ourselves as fans.
We torture and we watch what the outcome no matter what,
because I was thinking of that game.
Like I had a total deja vu moment,
as I'm sure many Broncos fans did,
being down by two in Kansas City,
a gimmee victory.
You're already kind of feeling it in your mind,
but in this instance, I think all of us instead were kind of on pins and needles on the edge of our seats.
Well, I was like that moment from stepbrothers, you know, where I think it was like, I'm going to throw up.
Like that's exactly how everybody in the stadium was.
And I tell you what, when that kick went in, the eruption at Empower Field immaculate, just imagine being one of the people that left the game with 10 minutes left.
I mean, that unbelievable.
I understand it.
I understand at that point.
Like, they're like, all right, they're down.
They're probably not going to come back.
We're going to beat traffic.
man you had to be there and luckily i think i'm i'm glad i was here for this because this was a wild game
anillo piero who does our postcast he was sitting next to me the whole time shout out to ryan blackburn
host of locked on nuggets if you guys know ryan you guys know that ryan puts out jinxes sometimes like
the reverse jinx i asked him to cook one up here for the denver broncos i'm gonna give ryan
blackburn you know one of the hosts of locked down nuggets i'm gonna give him a game ball as well
because it kind of put it out into existence here but uh real talk here sir another guy marvin mims i think he
deserves one. Oh, 100%. There was a point in this game where I felt like Marvin was going to be
the only offensive player to get a positive mark in this entire game until J.K. Dobbins had a few
positive runs. And then I'm thinking, well, J.K. did his part, you know, a little bit here in the end.
But Marvin was making plays early. He was the only guy doing it. He was making plays after the catch.
He's making tough catches. And then he made clutch plays late in this game, which is exactly what you
want to see from a young player like this. You and I harp on this.
all the time.
We talk about getting Marvin Mims the ball more.
The guy has maybe the best hands on the team,
especially when other players are struggling,
man, you've got to get Marvin a ball.
I think that also, Cody,
Mike McGlinchie in this game.
Tough.
He was hobbling, you know,
walking off the sideline,
yelling at Zach Streep.
Like, he's in the moment of this game.
He made a block on Bo Nix's touchdown run
that we're going to see in highlight reels in Broncos country forever.
Amazing.
toughness from Mike McGlitchie in this game.
100%. I mean, for him, he was hobbled too, and it looked like it was hard for him.
Like his limp was very noticeable.
It looked significant for him to come out and finish this game.
Hats off.
Tough guy, ultra competitive.
And hopefully nothing lingers from that as well.
Obviously, we'll keep you covered all the way along here, locked on Broncos.
To your point about J.K. Dobbins, I mean, Sarah, it's like, we kept asking myself to, you know,
we kept talking in the press box about this as well.
It's like, all right, like, Sean's got to find a way to run the dang ball.
The Broncos, I mean, you would have never thought that they finished.
this game with over 100 yards rushing based on how it was going.
They finished with obviously 142 on the ground.
JK had 81, but man, he had this one run where he just broke up the left
sideline for like 32 yards that just all of a sudden gave this offense some
energy and some momentum as well.
And, you know, loss in the shuffle, we're not even talking about the Broncos missing out
on a field goal right before the end of the first half, essentially going for it on fourth
down.
Like that also could have loomed large in this game.
For them to overcome everything that they did, Sarah, what, like,
What does that tell you about this team?
Because look, I think there are valid concerns to be had about this team with the
offense and the rate in which they're playing or celebrating the win here.
But what is your vibe here on this team at this juncture?
The Broncos are 5 and 2 right now.
First time in 10 years, they've had that good of a record.
They are in first place in the AFC West right now,
which is everything that the fans could have possibly asked for entering the middle of the season.
And they've done it without being perfect,
I would say for any individual game.
I don't think they've been perfect in any game this season.
Cincinnati, they left a lot of points on the board.
They left some meat on the bone there in a game you could have blown somebody out.
I feel like we've yet to see the best of the Broncos.
And yet here we are atop the AFC West after seven weeks of the season.
That's my vibe right now is that this team has built itself a bigger margin for error than we have seen since the Super Bowl 50 squad.
And right now, yes, you enjoy being in first.
place. Yes, you acknowledge the shortcomings. But man, if this team can put something together
for any consistent period of time, they are going to be one of the toughest. Just imagine if
the Broncos could string together offense like we saw in the fourth quarter for any stretch of
games. Man, this team is going to be tough to beat and they are going to be a contender in the
AFC if they can figure that out. And so you're telling me the Broncos, they got a chance here.
I think that they can. They got to get out of their own way, which is something you and I have
highlighted here on this show.
This was an epic win.
This was a great win here for the Broncos.
This was monumental, magical, you name it,
throughout these crazy words that describe it.
And yet still, there's plenty to improve and obviously to get better.
So not the sour on the parade here.
Broncos country, enjoy the win.
Victory Monday, five and two, top of the AFC West.
That's important here.
But there's a lot to discuss this week here on lockdown Broncos.
Tomorrow's episode of the show Sarah and I,
we're going to sit down.
And we're going to talk about the dynamic between Sean Payton and Bo Nixon.
What's going on with the Broncos office?
Because if this comeback doesn't happen,
and there are a lot of things that we got to address here.
We'll critique it.
We'll break it all down on tomorrow's episode,
lockdown Broncos.
Brockos country.
See you next time.
