Starting point is 00:00:58 Thomas Gauvein from Redbird Rance.com. Back with us again today. How we live in Tom. Thomas. I'm doing great. Love baseball season. Weather's good in the spring. It's going pretty good here. Before we get into what happened last night, we've got some, some news, the breaking news. It was announced that former Cardinals pitcher Lance Lynn, announced his retirement, finishes his career with a 143 and 99 record, 3.74 ERA, two-time All-Star, finished in the top six of Cy Young voting three. different times spent seven of his 13 seasons in St. Louis where he was 79 and 51, part of that 2011 World Series Championship team. Thomas, red jacket one day for Lance Lynn. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:01:46 I think he'll get it. He's 30th in F-war, sixth and strikeouts, fifth in quality starts for the Cardinals. He's got that World Series ring. His personality alone might give him a boost. So I think he'll get his red jacket down the road. It all depends on who he's going up against in the voting that year, partially. Yeah, it just seems inevitable. People loved him. And for a guy who only threw fastballs for most of his career, the guy was in the league for 13 years and everybody seemed to love him. They love the attitude. So I encourage everybody to at some point here today, grab your crotch in honor of the great Lance Lynn and all that he accomplished with St. Louis Cardinals. Let's go to the games. Cardinals fall to three and one on the season on Monday. after what was a really odd in kind of a tough night at Bush Stadium for the Cardinals.
Starting point is 00:02:38 After having a night to sleep on it, I woke up feeling even more frustrated about it, Thomas, after this loss because of all the different things that led to this five to four loss of the angels of all teams and extra innings. And I came up with four different things that kind of stood out and bugged me about the game. First off, you've got the walks that were allowed by the Cardinals that gave up five on Monday. when they only walked a five total against the twins in that entire series. The lack of production with runners in scoring position, something that the team dealt with a lot last year.
Starting point is 00:03:12 They were two for ten last night and then left 12 men on base. The end of the game where Ali made the decision to not pinch it, Nolan Gorman. He was on the bench, the left-hander, had a right-hander on the mound, but they let Mason win hit anyway. And then Brennan Donovan's decision to throw home in that 10th inning instead of going to first for the easy.
Starting point is 00:03:31 out. We made a poll question about this on X if you guys want to vote. But which one would you like to start with, Thomas? Because all of them are kind of frustrating in their own ways. Do any of those four stand out to you more than the others? Probably the walks. I think that's particularly troublesome. They had a couple stolen, the angels had a couple stolen bases in there as well. Off the walks, Jojo Romero had two in the 10th inning, and that's never good to add more base runners on top of the manfred man. So I think the walks are killer to me. It's it's the same added you here in basketball with the free throws. You really got to make your free throws.
Starting point is 00:04:05 You got to limit walks. Don't hurt yourself when it comes to baseball. I think Donnie's a close second. He probably could have gotten a double play out of that. I know runner going to first is pretty speedy. It was a close call. Infield was back. But at least get the sure out at second base.
Starting point is 00:04:19 So you don't walk away with nothing. But I think it was the walks that did it for me. So far on the voting, walks is in first place with a little over 35% of the votes. Donnie coming in second. Then the runner's in scoring position. And then the not pin-shitting with Nolan Gorman at the end of the game. Because, you know, people, they like to blame Ollie for a lot of things.
Starting point is 00:04:38 You know, that's part of the gig. You know, when you're the manager, you get second-guessed on a lot of decisions. And after the game, they asked him if he had any thoughts on actually pinch-hitting with Gorman in that situation. And he was like, yeah, he's like, but Mason Wend is our shortstop. And, you know, it's they're going to live and die with him. He's their guy. And despite the struggles right.
Starting point is 00:05:00 now and it's going to upset some people, but it's also part of this season where there's going to be moments where they're going to try to let these guys learn. Remember how it's the guy of this runway, you know, they got to let these guys play. They got to let them do these things outside of doing what may be the smart thing to do when it comes to a managerial situation. Did you have a thought on that at all? Did that bother you at all that they let me win come to the play with Gorman coming off a big game? They're waiting. as a lefty to face the righty. I do see the value in getting win, those late game of bats, key moments.
Starting point is 00:05:36 But Gorman had, Mason, Wynn's been ice cold to start the year. Nolan Gorman was strong the day before. It would be a lefty versus righty. If Gorman comes in, I probably would have pinch hit him. But then you run into the issue of who's the backup shortstop. Like, do you put Brennan down? We don't have a backup shortstop at the moment. And I wonder if that was going through Ollie's mind as he sent wind back up for that last
Starting point is 00:05:59 at bat there. And it seemed like maybe that was part of it because he, he was like, well, Mason wins are shortstop. So, and maybe that was something he thought of. I don't know. I guess in hindsight, you're like, well, can we just get aggressive? Because, you know, so what? If you get stuck in that situation in the 11th inning, so what? You move Donovan over a short.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Maybe it went into the 10th. You don't have to worry about it. Yeah. And that's what I think people are more. And again, it's not like there's an outrageous amount of people just screaming right now. Ollie sucks again. And it's just, you know, things that people are bringing up. And that's what we do.
Starting point is 00:06:35 I mean, this is a game where you lose five to four. And there wasn't one particular thing that lost this game. It was a combination of a lot of just, yeah, that led to it. There's not going to be a lot of games that you only give up four hits and then you're going to lose by a score of five to four. It doesn't happen very often. That's why it's such a frustrating loss last night. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:06:58 But it wasn't all bad. We're not the negative people over and over on this show. We're not going to sit here and bash everybody. The Cardinals did pound out 11 hits, making it four straight games with double-digit hits. We're going to discuss the Cardinals new approach and the hot start for Lars Newport. That's coming up next on Lockdown Cardinals. March Madness is here. In fact, we're not in the final four, folks.
Starting point is 00:07:29 And Fandul is giving you the chance to get in on the action like never before because right now new customers can get $200 in bonus bets when your first $5 bet wins. That's 200 extra bucks to use on everything from buzzer beaders to who's going to end up cutting down the nets at the very end of the saw. The final four is all set. You've got all number ones, which does not have them very often. I think it's only the second time that all four number ones end up going to the final four. Florida and Auburn will be in the first game on Saturday.
Starting point is 00:07:57 You've got Houston and Duke in the second game. And then Fandall is going to make it easy for you to win big on both of these games with spreads, totals of game props, obviously when we get to the championship game, same stuff can work there too. I've been on the Florida Gators bandwagon since the end of the season, so I'm still kind of riding with those guys to the end of this all, but it's going to be a whole lot of fun to watch the four best, at least what everybody thinks, are the four best teams in the country battling it out to be the supreme number one team overall at the end of this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:08:30 And another great thing about Thandall is when you use the app, it's very, very important. very, very simple. And when you win, which you will, you get paid instantly. No waiting around. You can enjoy your spoils as soon as possible. So make sure you're visiting fandle.com to get in on the college hoops action, fandle. Thanks again for Megaloxon Cardinals. Your first listen every day. I leave your comments on X as well as on YouTube. Anytime you want the feedback is always welcome and encourage. In fact, we've got some comments and some questions for Thomas that we're going to get to later on in segment number three. we're going to ask you about torpedo bats. I hope you're ready for this. Thomas Gauvade from Redford,
Starting point is 00:09:13 grants.com, is here with us again today. Make sure you guys are giving him a follow on X at Thomas Gauvein. As I mentioned, we're not trying to be negative, you know, and just pound on things that went wrong last night because the cardals are still three and one.
Starting point is 00:09:28 They're still three and one. And last night, they didn't necessarily play a bad game. Again, most times when you look at how the game shaped up and how the stats go, you normally are going to win those games. You know, a lot to be positive about, which is why that loss is as frustrating as it is,
Starting point is 00:09:46 especially against a team like the Angels who, you know, I know that people don't expect the Cardinals to be great this year, but nobody's expecting anything about the out of the Angels this year at all. So that makes that one sting a little bit more. But Thomas, your thoughts on, let's talk about the offense first, man, how good the offenses look so far in 2025 and also when and where Are you going to get your Brant Brown tattoo? I know you're thinking about.
Starting point is 00:10:11 I have. That's actually on my list of things to do this weekend is got a little cool tattoo shop. I love the offense. I think they're taking great at bats. They're patient when they need to be. They're attacking early when they need to be. You look at Newpar and Donovan's home runs. Those are early in the out-bat hits that they're going for.
Starting point is 00:10:30 They're attacking the pitcher. But then you also see players fitting in their roles. I know you've had Marmal's quote and Brant Browse. Brown talking about slug when you need to slug, hit when you need to hit, just play your role. And I don't think that's something we've heard in a long time. It's been a lot of fitting the whole team into the box that what works with the majors. It's not you do what's best for you as a person, as a player. You've got Jordan Walker off to a hot start, Arnato, Newbar, Pahey's, Ferrer.
Starting point is 00:10:59 The list just goes on and on. Victor Scott's got second of hitters who are just going off to start the year. Yeah, it's been really nice to hear. And like you said, they've been talking about, I like to steal a quote from like, Jerry McGuire, more personal attention appears to be happening where it's not just like, here is our philosophy as a team and everybody just fall underneath that umbrella. From what we've heard from reports and telecasts and stuff is that, you know, that Bram Brown is going to each one and has an idea of how each person should approach it.
Starting point is 00:11:33 like you said, where it's not like, I know you're a slugger, but I want you to do this and where, you know, vice versa for guys who aren't supposed to be doing that. It seems like he's like, look, here's the idea. This is the plan. This is the type of hitter you are. And we're going to make you the best type of a hitter that we can make you in that role that you serve. So you mentioned some of the numbers that these guys are putting up so far this year. The catcher position obviously has been a massive upgrade offensively than what,
Starting point is 00:12:03 most of us thought was going to happen. Jordan Walker, again, two for four. He's hitting 444, you know, a little scare there when he got hit by the pitch on the on the wrist. I was like, God, you got to be kidding me. They're not going to hurt one of our dudes already. Victor Scott obviously continues to swing it really, really well, just like he did in the spring. Luken Baker comes in, and gets his first start, goes two for four. He looked really strong at the plate. But yeah, the one thing that I've been most impressed with and you brought it up is just the approach of patience, you know, too many times over the years I watched these guys swing at the first and second pitch and making weak contact and making outs. And I'm like, why are we so aggressive? Why is it
Starting point is 00:12:45 every other team is working counts and constantly making our pitchers battle where we're just kind of going up there. And hey, first good one you see, take a rip at it. You know, the only guy that I see still doing that like on a consistent basis. And it still drives me nuts is Alec Burleson. But that's just him, I guess. It's just something he's done his whole career. Yeah, he's a free swingers. And if you have one out of nine guys who's a free swinger and he happens to lay into one every once in a while,
Starting point is 00:13:11 that's perfectly fine with me. It's just that the whole team can't be taking that approach. Yeah, it's been good. Wilson, Gattreras, and Mason Wynn have been the lone black holes on the offense so far. I hate to use that turn because it's so dark. But it's just been a really, really rough start for both of them there combined over 32 with 15Ks, just two walks, both of those from Mason Wynn.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Your thoughts on their struggles so far, and should I be, hold on, I'm going to show you this. Is it time to bust out the panic button for either one of these guys? Because we got it, and it works too bad. Here, I'm going to play this for you. Yeah, you get some of that stuff. I don't feel like we're there yet, but what do you think? Do I need to get this button over here and a little bit closer to us right now? I'm not there for Contreras yet.
Starting point is 00:14:05 He's a veteran. He's adjusting to a new position, which in theory should give him better offense down the road. I'm not there for Contreras. His spring was reassuring. Mason went him a little bit closer to being concerned. I won't say panic. I'll say concerned. His spring was cold.
Starting point is 00:14:20 He's rolling into the year cold. We're putting a lot of pressure on him to be 162 game shortstop in the majors in just his second full year. Like that's a lot of pressure for a young guy to handle. And I think he's, he's having some effects offensively as a result of that. I'm not panicking. I'm just keeping an eye on it. I'm concerned, I think.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Yeah. If there's one thing I can say, like, on the positive side about it, obviously the strikeout you never like to see as many as both of them are doing right now. But you are seeing them, you know, like Mason Wynn, like smash that ball at Moncotta at third. And you can see the frustrated where, like, he's like, yeah, look, I mean, I'm stinging. I just hit that ball 108 miles an hour. and it just is going right at people. You know, in a season, all of these guys at some point,
Starting point is 00:15:08 even God's gift of baseball Lars Neupar right now, at some point he's going to go into a slump where they're just not going to find a hole. They're just not going to find grass. It happens to everybody over the course of the season. And it's tough to watch because, first of up, I had these huge expectations for Contreras and why wouldn't you, after seeing what he was doing in the spring. His swing doesn't look bad.
Starting point is 00:15:32 it just looks like he's certainly on the off-speed pitches seem to be giving him some trouble so far this year. That's the one that I'm noticing. And it seems like any time he guesses off-speed, somebody puts a fastball past him. Like it's just not matching up so far this year. He bunted last night. What did you think about that play with Petrares laying down the sack bun instead of swinging away? Yeah, I don't know about that. I've been playing backyard baseball recently, and I tried bunting with.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Just into Smith one time, my first base. And she didn't get down first base too well. So I'd rather see him swing the ball, get some extra base hits in there. Yeah, I was a little shocked by that. But you can tell, like, you know, the team appreciated it. Ali appreciated it, taking one for the team. He walked over there in the dugout and gave him a little high five and a smack on the butt. He said, you know, good job.
Starting point is 00:16:22 And yeah, like you mentioned, the veteran presence of Contreras, he doesn't seem to be all that upset about it. Obviously, he wants to do good. but he's been down this road before. Mason, who's coming into the second full season, is the man. I've dubbed him as the face of the franchise moving forward. A lot of people have. He sees his face all over the posters. Everything seems to be like, hey, you're our guy. We're riding on you. And then it's not happening right now. Good thing, though, he's playing great defensively. So he hasn't let the problems at the plate bother him in the field at all. How about the pitching staff?
Starting point is 00:16:58 Let's switch it up a little bit. Cardinals pitching outside of last night's walks. Obviously, very frustrating. We covered that already. But they've been pretty good. Starting rotation in particular has done a really good job. What have you noticed about these guys so far early on in the season? They're controlling the game, it seems to be.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Sunny Gray all the way down to Miles Michaels. When there's runners on, they're limiting the damage, which is reassuring. I think Eric Fetty had a fantastic start. He had six Ks in his innings. it's nice to see the starters pitching well because I think that was the area I was most concerned about for the team was the rotation and the first round through almost first round through we've got liby tonight I think that I'm I'm pleasantly surprised by the starting pitchers the bullpen a little bit shaky uh jojo and fernandez concerned me they're supposed to be back end guys
Starting point is 00:17:50 they've been roughed up a little bit Phil meaton love it throw them out there yeah how about him dude looks awesome. He does. But the starters are doing well for me so far. I'm happy. Yeah, each of them has gone at least five innings. Palante probably would have gone longer if it wasn't for that rain delay. And, you know, when I saw that game with Palante, and at first I was just kind of like,
Starting point is 00:18:15 yeah, he's doing okay, I guess. But I rewatched the game a second time just because I wanted to, you know, see if there was anything I met. And the more I saw, I'm like, dude, Palante was actually dealing pretty darn good, man. He was snapping bats and it was better than I thought the first time through. So a more credit should be given to how good Palante looked at his start, considering how rough his spring was. Michaelis doing Michaelis things last night.
Starting point is 00:18:40 It was good to see, obviously the walks, you know, which he doesn't do normally, were the ones that came right, bide him a little bit last night. But overall, you have to be kind of impressed with what you've seen so far. The other side of it, the naysayers will say, yeah, but look at the twins. They are dog crap right now. Yeah. Smash by the Kansas City Royals as well. So maybe it's something going on with Minnesota as well.
Starting point is 00:19:06 But I don't know. We don't want to, again, we're not trying to be negative. It's a positive place. So pretty good. We are going to get a little negative next, though, because a well-known nemesis of the Cardinals will be on the mound for the Angels tonight. We're going to discuss him this game.
Starting point is 00:19:21 And we'll get some fan feedback and questions for Thomas. That's coming up next. locked on Cardinals. Get the supplies you need from the site made for the skilled trades. It's the fantasy baseball podcast. on fantasy baseball available now on YouTube or wherever you listen to podcasts. Thomas Covey from Redford Rance.com is with us. The Cardinals are going to face Kyle Frickin Hendrix on Tuesday night, Thomas. This dude is 14 and 4 against the Cardinals with a 2.51 ERA in 27 career starts against the Cardinals. He has baffled him or baffled them over the years.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Like it's as annoying as it can possibly. because this is not a dude who throws 95, 96, and has got this outlandish stuff that you're like, man, so dominating. No, he's like your dad out there, just throwing wiffle balls up there at the plate. And for whatever reason, the Cardinals have not been able to hit him for years. He has tortured us while he's with the Cubs.
Starting point is 00:22:23 Now he's going to do it as an angel. Thomas, my question for you is, why can't this dude just go away? Go away. When the angel signed it, And people went straight to the calendar and they saw the Cardinals were going up against him in the second series. He'd probably be a bottom of the rotation. And everybody just got so sad about the start of the year. The last time they scored three or more runs against him was 2020.
Starting point is 00:22:47 He's pitched essentially a full season against the Cardinals for his career. And he'd probably be a top five, Salyong pitcher if those were his season. Like, he just crushes us. It's something about, I think there's familiarity there that he has over us. But then we just cannot hit soft tossing. veteran pitchers. It's them and then no-name rookie pitchers who are making their first start of their career that the Cardinals have struggled against forever. I had somebody asked me like, who is the more annoying nemesis of the Cardinals? Is it Bud Norris, who just for whatever reason
Starting point is 00:23:20 with the Astros murdered the Cardinals or is it Kyle Hendricks? I went Kyle Hendricks just because not only was he beating us, but he was doing it while wearing that Chicago Cubs jersey. and that annoys me even more. Yep, yeah. I knew that the undefeated season was going to go away either last night with Michael's pitching or tonight with Kyle Hendricks going up against us. And the thing is, too, now that because they lost that game last night, now Kyle Hendricks holds the series in the balance.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Like we could lose a series for the Angels because of Kyle freaking Hendrix, age 52, pitching for the Angels right now. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Sam. Today's the day. Sam Overhooper locked on Cubs has already been needling me since it happened. Like it's just been, he's like, dude, you know they're going to throw him, right?
Starting point is 00:24:14 And I was like, yeah, I do. I do. I know that. It's exactly what I anticipated. And here we go. We'll see if the powers of Brant Brown can overcome. We're being positive. Tonight's the night we changed the Kyle Hendricks tide.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Yeah. Let's just beat the snot out of this, dude. So he'll just never come back to face the car. Because the R.A. up to 2.6. Let's do it. Let's do it. All right.
Starting point is 00:24:39 We've got some fan feedback questions where the listeners writing comments and questions for us. First question is, and it's the biggest topic going on in Major League Baseball. I'm curious your thoughts on this, too. The torpedo bats, yay or nay, is this bother you at all? Or are you like, whatever? Yeah, I don't mind.
Starting point is 00:24:55 Do you make your bat, however you want? It feels elementary to me. Like, I'm not a physicist by any. means, but to put the most mass of the barrel where you hit the ball most often, just kind of feels like common sense. Like, why have we not done this for the last 50 years, you know? It's like the most duh thing to ever think of. Like, maybe we should wear batting gloves so that our hands don't.
Starting point is 00:25:15 It's so simple that it took like an astrophysicist to figure this out. What? How did nobody else think of this? I mean, you go look at aluminum bats. You go look at some of the wiffle ball bats, like that big red one. That's the whole idea is that so there's more mass where you're going to strike the ball. And I don't know if people were just afraid that you couldn't make a legal bat by moving it down that way. But obviously it's not going to work out for every hitter because certain guys hit it at certain points on the bat.
Starting point is 00:25:45 But guys who were getting stuck hitting that label instead of hitting it on the meat of the bat, let's just scoot the meat of the bat down. And there we go. All of a sudden. Yeah. And it's not like the guys that are going off with this new bat are like some scrubs that are all the sudden. It's not like Brady Anderson with the Orioles, you know, back in the in the steroid era where all of a sudden he's hitting 51 bombs. It's not like that.
Starting point is 00:26:10 You know, guys like Jazz Chisholm is a pretty darn good hitter before this happened. You know, so to see, I think L.A. La Cruz used a torpedo bat last night and had a massive night for the Reds. You know, it's not like scrubs are becoming gods because of this particular. particular bat. You still have to see the ball, hit the ball, and they're legal. MLB as said, these are completely legal, so shut up. Just, yeah, it is what it is. Get used to it. If you want to talk about something illegal, how about the oven mitt thing is giving you like four inches on your hands when you're trying to touch on play?
Starting point is 00:26:47 That should be illegal if you're asking me about something that should be kind of, you know, maybe changed a little bit. All right. Bill says, love the double standard. and wins, seven strikeouts and 14 at bats, Contreras, eight strikeouts and 18 at bats. But if this was Gorman, everyone would want his head or like last year, they would want him to sit down the way they did Scott or Jordan Walker. Kind of a good take in my opinion. This is supposed to be the year of patience and runways, Thomas. And it's funny how people react to certain people struggling, you know, if it was new
Starting point is 00:27:26 bar or it's you know obviously contraris and win people don't freak out as much but when it's certain guys they just don't have the patience for him your thoughts on that i think contraris deserves the benefit of the doubt he's a veteran in the game he's been there for a while he can he can make adjustments mason win is a fair point i think one of the struggles is no backup shortstop behind besides brennan donovan uh i think it was always said that he's he doesn't want to hurt when's confidence too much by taking him out but then you have the same thing with no one gorman Like he's a young guy who's looking to get runway this year. He had a great game on Sunday.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Give him the opportunity there to make a moment. Yeah. And you're just, you're not going to send Mason Wind down. I mean, I'm already getting to comments. Like he needs to be bench. You need to be sent down. And I'm like, that's not going to happen. It's not going to happen.
Starting point is 00:28:18 And if there's one thing that I can say, I know he looks frustrated, but there were some quotes from Mason Winn after last night's game. And even though it's frustrating, like, the confidence is it gone? He says they're making some adjustments. He's working on something like with his pelvis area or something. Like something there is a little off. Yeah. And it's going up on the ball.
Starting point is 00:28:38 And that's what's causing him to miss it. But again, hit an absolute laser yesterday. And, you know, usually when you start smashing the ball like that, eventually that leads to you breaking out of certain slumps. Cardinals attendance, a record low last night at Bush Stadium 3. your opinion, victim of bad weather and low expectations, or is there something more to it? Are the Cardinals fans trying to say something to ownership?
Starting point is 00:29:04 I would venture its combination of both. I don't think that School Night and Bad Weather are driving 10,000 fans away that would have otherwise been there in previous years. I think the fans are sending a message. I don't necessarily agree with that message. Like, I've always taken it as supporting the players and the brand rather than pocketbooks of the owners. Like if I were in St. Louis, I'd go to as many games as I could because I love baseball. I love the Cardinals and the players in the field are exciting.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I separate the ownership from that. But I do see the point and fans doing it. They're sending a message. They're doing it effectively so far. So I respect them for that. Yeah. I mean, it's your money. And you guys can do with whatever you want.
Starting point is 00:29:44 If you choose not to spend money because it's not like it's a cheap day to get down to the ballpark and, you know, with food and parking. I get it. So if you choose to stay away, What I always keep telling people is like winning will bring people back. Like even if they're mad at ownership and they're pissed off about it, you bring a fun, exciting style of baseball, which the Cardinals have had so far through these first four games.
Starting point is 00:30:08 And they're winning, people will come. They'll show up because there are, you know, those lean years, you know, like even when McGuire and I know he was doing something special, but a couple of those years, the Cardinals as a team were not very good, but there was something exciting happening at the ballpark. and it brings people out. So hopefully they continue it. Garrett Crochet signs a mega extension with the Red Sox is a good one.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Which current Cardinals player is more likely to get a mega extension from the team in the future? He's got three options here. You get Gorman, win or Walker? Ah, man, that's tough. I don't think Gorman gets it just because of his struggles the last couple of years, last year. He's hit in 750. I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah, right. My bet. Yeah, sorry. Probably Mason win. He plays a premium position. His defense is strong there, and he has the offensive potential. I don't love giving out those contracts to corner outfielders or subpar, second baseman defensive. I think Mason win. Just given the contracts of short stops, the last couple for agencies, too.
Starting point is 00:31:12 And my own addition to this question, if you have it, which one do you think gets that extension first, whether Holt or Quinn Matthews? Ooh. Yeah. Yeah, that's good. Quim Matthews, pitchers. You got to lock them up, especially if they're good. Yeah. I agree with you there. All right. Well, once again, you guys can follow Thomas at Thomas Govain on X.
