Starting point is 00:01:02 What up, y'all? This is Jake Arthur and Zach Hicks of HorseshoeHuddle.com. And we may be in different residences now, but they could not keep us apart for long. We're back here to tell you all about the combine, which has now wrapped up the on-field workouts. So we're always going to put a little Colts twist on this, as you've seen over the last week. Zach and I were in attendance there, did a lot of talking with people, got to see some of these players perform at this point now. So
Starting point is 00:01:30 we're going to tell you offensively which players knocked it out of the park and match the Colts really well, particularly those early in the draft. We'll look at the defensive side as well. And then for the first time in this draft cycle, we are going to bring you our own mock draft. We're going to go through just the first three rounds, just a Colt specific mock draft. Now that we know a lot more about some of these players and what physical attributes they have and what checkpoints they're able to hit, our guesses are a little more educated at this point now. So Zach, let's talk offensively. The wide receivers absolutely dominated this thing.
Starting point is 00:02:12 We saw great field workouts, great athletic scores. Let's just start with the receivers because again, they really stole the show. What stood out to you as far as offense goes in relation to the Colts? Yeah, you know, one thing I want to say before we get into these wide receivers is when you're watching the combine, you're really getting into the Colts. Yeah, you know, one thing I want to say before we get into these wide receivers is when you're watching the combine, you're really getting into the combine stuff.
Starting point is 00:02:29 One of the biggest mistakes we make every single year is double counting stuff. So someone like Xavier Worthy, right? 4-2-1 NFL combine record with his 40-yard dash. But look, coming into the week, we knew that he was going to have an insane speed. You know, so even if your guess was like a 4-2-8, him running a 4-2-1, you don't double count that. You know, you don't say, OK, Worthy now moves up because he ran a 4-2-1.
Starting point is 00:02:53 And even same with Brian Thomas Jr. from LSU running that 4-3-5, one of the most insane 40-yard dash performances we've seen because of his size and weight. Just an outstanding, outstanding run for him. But again, we knew that he was going to be a burner. So the thing that really stands out for me is the guy that you don't expect. And that's Adonay Mitchell out of Texas running in the four threes as well. Like I know he said during his media availability
Starting point is 00:03:17 this week at the Combine that he was running at like 70% speed on his routes in college. But man, he was telling the truth. He was absolutely telling the truth. He was not lying whatsoever with that comment, because if you're watching his film and you're seeing four, three speed, please point me to that film. That's all I ask. Please point me to the film where you see four, three speed, because I just never saw it at Texas. So him coming out here, running four, three testing out of the,
Starting point is 00:03:44 out of this world and every single thing, um thing looking pretty good. And I mean, he struggled with some of the running on air, some of the route runnings and stuff. The timing was just off. He's more of a zone. You know, he's kind of a zone beater type guy who finds the space in zones. It was difficult against air when you're just running full speed on your routes. Again, clearly he was running those routes at 70 percent in college, like he told us. But I think his 40 was actually the most memorable of the bunch because it feels like it came out of nowhere. Like you could look at every single guy who ran under 4'4 in this class at wide receiver. I think it was like 10 receivers, like a ton of guys did it.
Starting point is 00:04:18 And I think he was the only one that really would have shocked me coming into the week. So yes, Xavier Worthy, record-breaking performance. We're really high on him. We love him. Brian Thomas. We know he can fly. He's great on film. We love him here too. But Adonai Mitchell from Texas, holy crap, that, that four 340 was insane. Yeah, absolutely. And I am interested now that he said that I don't want to, I don't want to say that's an effort thing, but I'm sure teams will be like, all right. So he said he runs his routes at like 70% speed so that he can last throughout the drive and run routes throughout the drive. Teams are probably going to be like, we'll sub you out at a certain point.
Starting point is 00:04:55 You give us 100% juice throughout the time. So maybe we'll see him playing even faster in the NFL. But no, I totally agree. I think A.D. Mitchell and Brian Thomas are two guys who there's been this big clump of receivers behind the big three, Harrison, Adunze, and neighbors were saying, what's the hierarchy of this? And I think those guys absolutely stamped it. Xavier Worthy, like you mentioned, we all knew he was fast, but we know NFL teams too. A record-breaking performance that's gonna get him in the first round I'm almost sure of it oh yeah um that that's
Starting point is 00:05:31 just how it goes you knew he was fast but maybe not record-breaking fast and so you know for the Colts it gets pretty interesting because there are a ton of receivers now um at the top of the draft, but I think we're starting to get kind of a priority here. So that was good to maybe see some definition to it. Was there anyone else on the offensive side of the ball that stood out to you? Yeah. I mean, just all these receivers in general. I mean, your boy, Ryan Flournoy had a really good day as well. You could look at Jacob Cowling ran in the four threes, really good day, More of a mid-round type guy as well. Keon Coleman was a really interesting workout because he knocked out of the park in every single thing, but then ran a four 640. So it's like, man, like I need you to hit at least four fives with your size because that's the metric we need you to hit.
Starting point is 00:06:20 But everything else was good. The field work looked really smooth and really good. Some really good things from him. But I think the biggest standout overall was Roma Dunze from Washington. Now, I don't think he's going to be there for the Colts at 15, but Roma Dunze, I mean, just showing that competitiveness by doing the three cone at the end of the day when nobody else was doing it, running as well as he did, running the gauntlets and the routes on air like the best receiver there. I mean, he proved that he was in a different caliber of class and all these other receivers that were there in a, in a really, really good wide receiver class. So, uh, Romo Dunzay really
Starting point is 00:06:53 stood out to me and look, I wish you'd be there at 15. I just don't see it happening. No, right there with you. I mean, you lump those top three in and you can probably throw Brock Bowers in there too. Like, will those four be there at 15? I mean, for the Colts, that would be awesome if any of the four were, but I don't know. But it looks pretty unlikely. We have another Raz King at tight end, Theo Johnson, posting a 10. Jelani Woods was the most freaky athlete we've seen coming out of the draft two years ago. And now he's already been buried in consecutive years.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Zach Koontz and now Theo Johnson. And all these guys, you know, their play style is pretty similar. You know, they're field stretchers. They're known as pass catchers, but not so much as blockers. And so, you know, none of, I mean, obviously Johnson, he's still got to be drafted. But the other two haven't necessarily made noise yet. So what do you think, Theo Johnson? Does he stay there behind Jatavian Sanders? Is he tied in to now? I mean, I'm sure for some people he'll jump up there because, you know, again, those are eye popping numbers.
Starting point is 00:08:00 I don't think he would be up that high for me, but I wouldn't be shocked if some teams had him as tight in three or tight in four. I know he was very highly regarded before this process, before the combine. So, yeah, I think he solidified himself as a pretty valuable day two pick for teams. And look, I know there's going to be a lot of Colts fans that are going to want him here now, too, because they see those numbers and it's like, OK, here we go. Let's just collect them all. You know, it's like the Infinity Gauntlet here in Marvel. We've got to keep adding to the gauntlet and getting all these superstar athletes a tight end. One of them is going to hit
Starting point is 00:08:28 eventually. So why not Theo Johnson here in Indy? Yeah. And then not the sexiest thought, the Colts getting an offensive lineman, but the offensive lineman showed out. If the Colts want to keep up their offensive line playing at a high level for the next few years, they're going to need to stoke the depth. I mean, do the Colts go mid rounds and wind up with one or two more offensive linemen coming out of this draft? I think the biggest thing where they could add on the offensive line is center. I think center on like day three, like early day three. You know, I know Wisconsin's Tanner Bortolini had a or I think it's how you say Bortolani or Bortolini. I think of Bortolini every time. So that's immediately what I go to. Well, we just had Bortolini had a, or I think it's how you say Bordellani or Bordellini. I think of Tortellini every time.
Starting point is 00:09:05 So that's immediately what I go to. Well, we just had Tortellini the other night, Jake. So I think that's what it was there. But yeah, he, he had just a legendary performance as well. I know McMahon from NC State as well had a great day. And then other guys who didn't even test like Hunter Norzad from Penn State. It's a really good center in this class. So it's looking like a really good center.
Starting point is 00:09:23 I think the Colts on, you know, three maybe even late day two they can grab their center of the future behind Ryan Kelly because look Ryan Kelly's not getting any younger he's suffering concussions every year which is which is the unfortunate part of playing in the NFL so I think the Colts are in good position to get their their center of the future in this really really strong center class yeah I think that would be really wise and when it comes to interior line play, I think you can get those guys in the mid rounds that can start for you a year or so down the road, like a lot of positions, you know, you want to get them early on. But I think with interior play, you can wait a little bit. Obviously, you have Kelly this year. So I think that would be really wise. If you're looking for a vulnerable spot on
Starting point is 00:10:03 the line, you definitely want to kind of start looking for Kelly's successor. So here in a minute, we're going to go ahead and talk about the defensive side of the ball because, man, did these cornerbacks have an answer for the receivers. Get buckets with your first bet on FanDuel, America's number one sportsbook. Starting point is 00:10:44 the go-to spot for everybody, it seems like. So they've got exactly what you're looking for. NBA action, I mean, obviously the NFL is done with for now. You know, it's draft season, but it's not really betting season. The NBA is exactly where it's at. So visit FanDuel.com slash locked on and shoot your shot. FanDuel, official sportsbook partner of the NBA. All right, so cornerbacks.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Good news. Colts need explosiveness on offense. They need guys to counter that on the defensive side of the ball as well. And it looks like this is going to be a pretty rich class. Yeah, yeah. You know, I think when you look at the cornerback position, when you look at the cornerback position, when you look at what the Colts need, you know,
Starting point is 00:11:26 they drafted all these outside corners last year. Jalen Jones, they have Dallas Flowers on the outside as well. Juju Brents, obviously, on the outside. So you're kind of looking for nickel corners. But with how the Colts like arm length with their cornerbacks, it's hard to find a nickel corner with super long arms and that tackling ability and stuff. Now, this class does have quite a few guys, but there are a few where I'm super long arms and and that tackling ability and stuff now this class
Starting point is 00:11:45 does have quite a few guys but um there are a few where i'm circling them and being like ah just the arm length is not there for me uh but a couple guys we like at the nickel corner spot you know mike sandra still uh from michigan this guy we like kamari lassiter from georgia those are two guys who despite being a little bit smaller they tested fairly well in the test they did do i like them a lot at nickel uh but outside corner, again, you guys know we love outside corners here, and that's what the Colts like to draft too. Maybe they can find their nickel in Kenny Moore or maybe in free agency. So guys like Cam Hart from Notre Dame had a really good day. Quinion Mitchell from Toledo, I think all of our favorite corners in this class. I mean,
Starting point is 00:12:22 just a great, great athlete on film, and he really showed out with a blazing 40 times as well. So, yeah, these corners did a really good job in this combine. I mean, Kyrie Jackson, I believe, from Oregon as well, had a really good time. Ran 4'4", or 4'5". Yeah, huge player. 6'3", like 200 pounds. Ran like a 4'5". Really good length on his arms, too.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Like, there's a lot of corners in this class where the Colts just want to add more depth to their quarterback room. They have a lot of options in this class. Yeah. Another corner who I have as a big winner is someone who like Quinnian Mitchell has been building and checking off everything throughout the draft process, had a nice little senior bowl and had an even better combine. And that's Max Melton from Rutgers.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Another guy who could play inside and out if the colts were going and picking a nickel in this draft outside of the first round i would probably look at melton around round three if he's there round two if that winds up being his appropriate stock that's fine um 511 187 so a touch undersized, but he's got over 32-inch arms, really explosive, a 40-and-a-half-inch vert, over 11-foot broad, 4'3", 9'40". So he has a 9'6", 5'5". So that's one of the guys that I think he's going to wind up being on the all-Jake team by the time the draft gets here. But the corners did really well.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Defensive linemen, too. I mean, there were some mammoths that were just out there booking. Yeah. You know, Braden Fisk, obviously, we talked about from Florida State. Local kid to Indy. Just put up some Aaron Donald-like numbers somehow at the combine. Fantastic, fantastic performance. Rook O'Roro, O'Horo-Horooro from Clemson that's what we're going with on that
Starting point is 00:14:06 one or O'Horo O'Horo from Clemson fantastic player and uh you know native not native Nigerian but Nigerian in his name and his origins whatever so um really really you know you know how that goes with the Colts they like to have all those African players on the defensive line Quidipe Dayo Dangbo Samson Ebukom so I don't know if that's just a coincidence, but he kind of fits the theme there on the Colts defensive line. And then you look at other players on the defensive line that stood out who might not be there at 15, but could make a lot of sense. Dallas Turner.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Dallas Turner, if he were somehow there at 15, I think you run that card up there, you get him here. Jared Verst, a little bit older of a prospect, but had a really good combine as well. So there are some options on this defensive line, you know, either later in the draft or earlier in the draft, a lot of options to bolster this defensive line for the Colts. I do feel better about the interior defensive line depth than I did going into it, just at least from a Colts perspective, knowing that some of these guys are athletic enough to kind of check some of the boxes for the Colts. You know, obviously Fisk and Oro Oro, but you got like
Starting point is 00:15:10 Gabe Hall from Baylor. Now, again, not all these guys are going to be appropriate for the Colts, but the depth is there if they find a specialty in any of these players. Mason Smith, Chris Jenkins, Brandon Dorless, Dwayne Carter, like there are several guys, Mike Hall, several guys throughout third round and third and the third, fourth, fifth that I think could really fill a role for the Colts. Obviously, I think they're still good for a little bit of help at the nose, at the one tack. Taven Bryan, free agent, you got to think maybe he's not coming back, so they're going to need a replacement for him as well. So just like offensive line, it may not be sexy to think of
Starting point is 00:15:51 adding interior defensive linemen to the Colts, but I think it's necessary. And I do feel a lot better about the depth in this draft after the combine. Yeah. And one more thing that stood out to me about the defensive players that tested in this combine, looking at safety, you know, we're looking at free agency and safety and saying, OK, this is the most loaded position group in all the free agency. There's a lot of good players hitting the market or are likely to hit the market. And the Colts obviously have at least a need for one safety, maybe two safeties. And then you look at the combine and look at the draft and it doesn't look like a very good safety group. Overall, it doesn't look like a good safety group for the Colts you know some of the guys who tested a little bit better were coming in at like 510 like 190 or 510 like 180 yeah you're thinking
Starting point is 00:16:34 of Cam Pimpson sorry yeah well he just yeah his testing was brutal uh overall and so I don't know who he fits at all but even some other guys know, I think there was a Georgia safety who came in at like five, 10, one 70 and stuff like that's just not a fit for the Colts for what they like to do with their safeties. So I think it kind of, it kind of shows that the Colts need to need to approach the safety position from free agency. Cause I just don't think you're going to get the type of guy you want at
Starting point is 00:17:01 safety in this class. I mean, we'll talk about when we do our mock drafts here, but I was looking for a safety in round three, our mock drafts. And I just, I couldn't find one that really made sense for me or made sense for the Colts. Like Bo, Bo braid from,
Starting point is 00:17:13 from Maryland. I like, but there's a reason why he didn't test, you know, I'm assuming it's because he's not a great tester. So I don't know. I, I think that the way to approach safety this off season is absolutely go
Starting point is 00:17:24 grab one in free agency because I just was kind of whelmed by these these combine safeties this year. Yeah, maybe even underwhelmed, you could say. But no, that was I'm right there with you. I found myself really hoping to see some big performances with these guys and let's see they had among free and strong safeties they had i think it was one two three four just five guys with a raz of nine or above and not all those guys are even really draftable like just because they have a high rad doesn't mean there's someone you're really even targeting so like you wind up with like a cold bishop that you maybe feel good about because that was already kind of a third fourth round guy who tested really well had a decent senior
Starting point is 00:18:10 bowl so you kind of you feel better about him but yeah more than anything i i came away a little disappointed there were some guys you know cam kitchens being as undersized as he was you would have loved to see him test really well like the speed and explosiveness to match that undersized undersizedness, which is a word I think I just made. Evan, Evan Williams was another guy who I was really expecting more from. I think you're probably talking about Tykee Smith from Georgia. Yeah, this this was just, I'll say it underwhelming, a little disappointing from the safety class, especially in a year where the Colts need one. So, I mean, welcome back, Julian Blackman, or any other veteran safety through free agency.
Starting point is 00:18:53 I don't think this is the year for the Colts to do it. Yeah, I absolutely agree. I absolutely agree. Well, guys, coming up, we're going to get into some fun. We're going to do some mock drafts. We're going to each do our first three rounds mock draft, and then you guys get to tell us in the comments section how much better mine was. We're going to do that mock drafts. We're going to each do our first three rounds mock draft. And then you guys get to tell us in the comments section how much better mine was. We're going to do that here in just a second.

All right, Jake, we're doing our mock draft here. Mock draft Monday even on here on the show. Maybe we should do this every Monday. I think it just goes well. Yeah, mock draft Monday. Yeah, we're doing mock draft Monday here on the show and Jake cheated with the very
Starting point is 00:20:27 first one. He's trying to go for the win with all you guys. He's, he's playing to the fans here. He's playing to your heart. Jake, who did you take with the 15th overall pick and in your mock draft here? Yeah. So let me preface this by saying I put myself through absolute hell coming
Starting point is 00:20:43 up with this mock draft because on the other tabs don't worry about it um yeah so I was just going through it coming up with this because you want to make sure you check off that pass catcher you want to get a corner and if it goes out of order you do not know what to do and a lot of these guys tested really well or they measured really well, but not everyone met all the necessary metrics for the most part that we know for the Colts. So that was a little tough to go through, but I'll say all that to say this. At 15th overall, I went with Brock Bowers tied in out of Georgia. Now I think there's a very good chance that he's not there, but there's a lot of pass catchers available in the first round.
Starting point is 00:21:29 So let's say Brock Bowers is there and you got, you know, Dallas Turner's not there, Terry and Arnold's not there. I think this is a slam dunk pick for the Colts easily. I think they need more juice at tight end than they do at wide receiver currently when you consider Anthony Richardson coming back. But regardless of what they need, I think Brock Bowers is a great addition for them. Run after the catch. You know, you can play catch up while he learns how to block a little more effectively.
Starting point is 00:21:59 You do have other tight ends, obviously. But when your best pro comp is Dallas Clark, I think you run it back. Yeah, yeah, no, I agree. I think if your guy and my guy were both on the board, I'd take your guy too. So I'll give you the win here in first round. But I went with wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.
Starting point is 00:22:18 We've talked a lot about him this draft season. The only thing I'll really add to the conversation when it comes to Brian Thomas Jr. is if you guys follow me on social media at Zach Hicks 2 on Twitter, I put together the average Chris Ballard wide receiver. I added up all the average height, weight, speed, all those things of the receivers that he has taken in his time with the Colts. So all eight players, and I found the average, the mean of all those players. And if you look at that compared to what Brian Thomas Jr. tested like here at the Combine, it's almost identical.
Starting point is 00:22:49 It's the same height, the exact same weight, same arm length, same hand size. It's the exact same. I think Brian Thomas obviously ran a little bit faster, but it's like the same explosion scores as well. So almost every single metric is exactly the same to what Chris Ballard's average wide receiver he takes in the NFL draft. So look, I'm not saying it's locked in stone that he's going to like Brian Thomas Jr., but I do think Brian Thomas Jr. fits every single thing that Chris
Starting point is 00:23:15 Ballard's ever looked for in a wide receiver. So, you know, stars might align there in round one. Totally agree. And I think both of us are probably in lockstep on this one. If they're going to get a pass catcher in the first round at 15, it's almost assuredly going to be one of these two guys that it feels very, that those just feel like such right picks. And Brian Thomas had a chance to check out his media availability. Seems like a good kid, right? Temperament for what the Colts are going to look for. He doesn't really seem like he fits the Diva receiver mold, which the Colts don't often have that anyway. So moving on to the second round at 46 overall, we got that pass catcher.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Now let's look to the defensive side. I'm going with Notre Dame corner Cam Hart. He has done well throughout the pre-draft process. Solid week at the Senior Bowl. He's another guy that we've talked about him lately but he he just really fits everything the colts like um when you when you move up his height it's about 6 3 33 inch arms 202 pounds that's awesome size uh really adequate in terms of of athleticism 4'5", 40, 39 and a half inch vertical, 10, 10 broad jump. So this is a guy that can be pretty sticky in coverage, can be physical, wants to be competitive at the catch point, and doesn't want to allow anything to get past him in terms of screenplays
Starting point is 00:24:41 or outside runs. So this is a guy that can really help you just about everywhere. And, you know, if Juju Brents and Jalen Jones were ready to play right away, this guy might be too. Yeah. Yeah. And I went with corner as well. And I went with TJ Tampa from Iowa State. Now it kind of broke the fun theme of picking guys who performed well at the combine because
Starting point is 00:25:00 TJ Tampa didn't perform here at the combine, but he's just a guy that I really like on film. I mean, big strong corner or good length. I think, I think he has, I think he has the potential to test really well this off season. I think he's going to do a private workout or he's going to work out his pro day later in the off season.
Starting point is 00:25:16 He didn't, he didn't work out here at the combine, not because he was trying to hide anything, but he hurt his hamstring in training before the combine didn't want to run on a poor hamstring. But yeah, I think he's the guy on film where you see everything that you need. You know, you see the athleticism, you see the traits, you see his ability to turn and run.
Starting point is 00:25:32 You see the physicality. I mean, honestly, I think he can maybe even play a little bit in the slot. Maybe not all the time, but he could rotate a little bit there in the slot and be like a big nickel. So yeah, I think TJ Tampa would be a great fit for the Colts. I think he fits everything they typically like at the cornerback position and you know again he might fall there to their pick in the second round just because he didn't test at the combine you know you have some more questions about players like that than you do about someone like Cam Hart who's more of a riser
Starting point is 00:25:58 throughout the process where Tampa has kind of been stagnant because he hasn't really done these things like senior bowl or or combine so you might get a real steal in a player like TJ Tampa, just because of that on the middle of the second round. So yeah, I think the, I think he has sky high potential. I like him in the slot, like him on the outside, like what he can do overall. So yeah, TJ Tampa's there in the second round. I'm again, it's another guy where I'm racing that card up there and, and getting him here in Indy. And he's the guy, the only reason his name doesn't have more buzz right now is he has been banged up.
Starting point is 00:26:26 You know, he withdrew from the senior bowl, could have had a big week there, wasn't able to perform at the combine, could have had a big performance there. So that's a guy who I expect his name to heat up a little bit once teams start to get to know a little more about him, can see him physically work out, whenever that is. So first round, I went Brock Bowers tight end, second round, Cam Hart corner.
Starting point is 00:26:48 So I've got my, I've got a somewhat of a fix in coverage with, was the biggest issue on defense. I got a pass catcher, but we're not done because this off season is all about Anthony Richardson. I got my guy, Ryan Flournoy at 82 in the third round. So I'm going firepower, baby. We're going yak and we're going vertical speed all over the place. So Ryan Flournoy, you know, you mentioned Brian Thomas.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Flournoy is kind of diet, diet Brian Thomas. You can look at him that way. He checks a lot of those boxes as well. 6'1", 202 pounds. His arms are a little shorter, but his hands are over 10 inches. So that's nice. 4'4 speed, which was odd. I thought he would actually, that's a good time, but I actually thought he would run a little faster than that because I have seen him on the field. So I wouldn't be surprised if his GPS speed was really good too. But 39 and a half inch vertical 11 foot broad jump explosive player.
Starting point is 00:27:49 You know, if, if you miss out on some of these, you know, playmaking vertical receivers that are going to be flying off the board in the first 50 picks or so, Flournoy is a great option in the third round. Yeah. Flournoy is going to score really high and build a Ballard wide receiver. I don't, I don't have it completely finalized yet, but I can't think of a metric he hasn't hit yet this off season. So him like Brian Thomas,
Starting point is 00:28:08 I think they're going to be battling out for top build a Ballard wide receiver. So yeah, it'll be welcome. Yeah. Hey, Florano has been balling this off season. So I don't hate that pick. I know some people in the comments will be like, Whoa, that's way too early for him, but I like him there in round three. I think he's a good player. My third round pick. I'm going with the guy that again, we, again, we've been taking all week. We've been hyping up all week, and that is Rook
Starting point is 00:28:28 or Horo, defensive tackle from Clemson. I really hope he's listening so he can correct me here on how to say his name. I've listened to him multiple times. I'm trying to get it down, but again, I said it earlier on this show. I said it on shows earlier this week. The Colts need a backup one-tack. They need a guy who is quick and agile enough to shoot gaps. They need a guy who is strong enough to take on double teams and explosive enough to shed those double teams. And when I watch this film, I mean, the peaks and valleys are there, but the peaks are so high that he just seems like a guy the Colts would really like.
Starting point is 00:29:00 It's kind of like, you know, the shot they took on Eric Johnson, but earlier around former five-star guy, a guy who has a better path to getting to that potential rather than Eric Johnson type. So I really like him, man. I really like his film. I would honestly consider him in round two. I looked at it in round two. I almost went that route, but he might be there round three because the production wasn't really there in college. But this is a guy where, again, you take that potential and you run with it and you say, okay, learn from Grover Stewart, watch every single thing he does. If they bring back Grover Stewart, watch everything he does in practice, follow his example and become him in a couple of years. I know that's a, that's a great expectation there,
Starting point is 00:29:38 but I do think this guy has a ton of potential and I really, really like his game. But guys, that's our three roundround mock draft here our competition mock draft I went with Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round then TJ Tampa in round two and then defensive tackle Rook or whore whore from Clemson in round three Jake went with Brock Bowers Cam Hart and Ryan Flournoy in round three there so let us know who you think was better which one you'd be dancing more for on draft day or look you can go all uh cordial about it and say that we both won you know there's two when everyone wins and on this podcast you guys can let us know and we all had fun that's all that matters yeah we all had fun that was the big thing there but that concludes mock draft
