Hello, everyone.
I'm Zach Hicks of HorseshoeHuddle.com and your favorite co-host here on the Locked On
Colts podcast.
Jake is on vacation, so I'll be joined by a litany of guests going forward.
And the first one, obviously, is my buddy Andrew Moore, my colleague over at HorseshoeHuddle.com.
Actually,
I think he's one of the bosses I submit my TPS reports to. So I think that's what Andrew qualifies now. So Andrew Moore here, one of my favorites over there at Horseshoe Hull. All my
guys are my favorites over there, but obviously Andrew I've been working with for a while.
We're going to talk about Quiddy Paye's fifth year option today. We're going to start off by
talking about the Colts picking up this option, what it means for the team, what it means for him, and then we're going
to talk about what this, you know, this option exercise means for other players on the roster.
What does it mean for first-round pick Leatu Latu? What does it mean for Daiwa Dangbo going
forward? We're going to discuss that on today's episode, but first off, the Colts pick up Quidipe's
fifth-year option. A little bit up in the air, obviously, coming into this week off, the Colts pick up Quidipe's fifth year option a little bit up in the air,
obviously coming into this week, if the Colts were going to do this or not. Obviously,
they just spent a top 15 pick on another edge rusher. So, you know, it seemed like, okay,
they're going to pay another one on top of that with Quidipe. And they did exercise it.
I believe his payment for not this upcoming season, but the next season will be $13.4 million.
He's under contract for the
2025 season so he's not going to be a free agent when Dio Dangbo is expected to hit which is great
news for the Colts so you know fewer free agents to deal with there but yeah 13.4 million dollars
I believe I've seen so many different numbers thrown around but I think it's like the 29th
highest paid edge in football I think that's what it is you guys can correct me on that there
who knows what it's going to be by the time that exercise option actually comes into play. It could
be the 50th highest ranked by then. But yeah, $13.4 million for Quidipe, who had a really solid
season last year. You know, he'd been top 12 in run defense for a pro football focus last two
seasons. His sack totals went up last year despite missing some time.
So Andrew, what do you think about this option that the Colts exercised with Quidi Pei?
Yeah, I'll be honest, Zach. I didn't think that the Colts were going to exercise the fifth-year
option, especially after the layout to pick. You look at it and the Colts just have such a log jam
at the edge position. But honestly, it's a good thing you know it's a good thing to
have all of those guys that you can trust to go out there perform at a high level Chris Ballard
and and Gus Bradley have been looking to get eight or nine guys that they can consistently rotate
in and out keep those guys fresh but now the Colts actually did pick up that fifth year option
I'm really happy about it and I think it was a fantastic move by,
by the Colts, you know, because when you look at Quiddy pay's body of work, is he an elite edge
rusher? No, but you know, he still number one, he still has time. You know, he's still a young
player. He's entering his fourth season. You don't want to give up on these guys too early.
The Colts have already had history of doing that. But when you look at what Quiddie Paye already is, you know, he's a very, very good run defender, you know, probably the best run
defender at the edge position that the Colts have. He's consistently gotten better, you know,
gone from four sacks to six sacks to eight and a half. So the sack numbers are getting there.
You just want him to be able to put more consistent pressure on the quarterback and i you know i think when you add a guy like layout to lot to i think that can happen
because there's going to be more attention to lot to because he is so polished because
of the threat at the edge and then you still have to force buckner in the middle so quitty pay isn't
going to receive as many double teams as much attention attention as he probably has in the past. So combine that with, you know, another year working on his craft, another year in Gus
Bradley's system to now with a new defensive line coach, Charlie Partridge, who I know
is very excited to work with Quidipe and will likely put him in some different situations
to help take advantage of his skill set.
And I think it's a really good move by the
Colts. You're betting on a guy that's a big player at the locker room as well. I think the coaching
staff trusts him, his teammates trust him. So when you're getting him for $13.4 million and you're
looking at that in the grand scheme of things, it's a low-end starter money for the edge position in
the NFL. I mean, you got to take that, you know, and if
Quidipe does end up taking another step, getting double digit sacks, then, you know, you've got
him on that deal for at least a year and it looks like a pretty damn good bargain. So I really like
the move that the Colts made here. And I think now it's up to Quidipe to go show that he was worth
that and go out and show not only was he worth that 13.4 but show that he can be
you know that big end that this team has been looking for and solidify himself in that position
for years to come yeah i completely agree and i think one thing that really comes to mind for me
when it comes to quitty pay and look i don't think he's a 13.4 million dollar per year player i don't
think he's that i love quitty pay i think he's a fantastic player for what he is but I don't think he's that. I love Quidipe. I think he's a fantastic player for what he is, but I don't think he's that quality of player. But when you rationalize it this way,
where I think he's going to be making four and a half million this year, you put that with 13.4
the next season, it's like a two-year, like $17.8 million contract. So it's roughly like a little
over eight a year, just backloaded to 2025. Then it's a lot more reasonable to expect that kind
of contract from him. But another way to look a lot more reasonable to expect that kind of contract from
him. But another way to look at this here is just something that kind of irks me a little bit about
the way we cover sports now. Not us in particular, but just the way that sports are covered and
talked about is that there's no room for middle ground with players anymore. It's the superstar
or bust mentality with it. I mean, we look at first round picks nowadays. And
typically I think I saw the other day it was 18 of the 32 options got picked up. And then of those
18 that got picked up, how many of these are going to be extended? Maybe like 10, maybe 10 of these
guys will get extended. So it's like a one in three of the guys that are really getting kept
around with teams that are getting extended at these, you know, not, not always market setting
deals, but like higher deals here. So to be one of those 18 of 32 initially, that means you're a pretty solid player.
And then obviously to get to the 10 or whatever it's going to be, it means you're more than
solid there.
And that's what Quidipe has to show.
But yeah, in the way we cover sports nowadays, everybody has to be either a superstar or
a bust.
They are either this dominant thousand yard receiver out the gate.
They're this 20 sack guy out the gate,
or they are not worth whatever pick they were.
And this could,
this could range from anywhere from a top 20 pick to a top 50 pick to a top
100 pick.
They are a bust if they are not this star player for my team within two or
three years.
And it kind of leaves these middle ground guys just out to dry.
And I think Quidipe falls into that middle ground.
I don't think he's a superstar. I don't think he's a bust though I mean look getting a quality player that is at least a
dominant edge setter and a dominant run defender and a pretty solid like he's not a great pass
rusher right now but a pretty solid pass rusher like he's not he's not unable to rush the passer
like it's a lower pass rush win rate but he you, you know, he's getting the big end snap. So a lot of it is just holding that edge and getting drive into the backfield and hoping
that your rush end is forcing the play to you and finishing off the play. So considering what his
assignment is, he's a very solid player. He's, he's very solid in the scheme. And obviously when
you're picking up this option, you're expecting him to take that next step that he hasn't really
taken yet. But I think there's a, there's a lot of value in having utility players on your team.
Now, the Colts issue is they don't have enough superstars around their utility players.
So it makes players like Alec Pierce, Kylan Granson, Quiddy Paye, Will Fries, like all
these guys where these are high utility players who are really solid starters in the NFL and
doing some decent things.
It makes it like so pressing when you're watching them them because the Colts deem more difference makers.
And maybe that's not what these guys are. But I do think there is value in having
solid, steady players that you can rely on. And that's kind of what these guys fall into
rather than difference makers. So yes, 13.4 is a little bit much and you're expecting that next
step. And this is on him to take that next step. But I think it's a risk worth taking on a high upside utility player that
has a good floor for your team. So I'm for it. I'm for it for sure. It wasn't exactly what I
expected. And we'll talk about that in our next segment here. But I'm for it, man. You got to
have utility players in this league. We see what happens when utility players go out and then you
have the replacement players come in and it's just not nearly as good. So Quidipe, I think just
for having that floor of your defense raised and hoping that Latu becomes that superstar that you
can play alongside him, I think this is a win-win for the team. Yeah, and I think when you look at
Quidipe and especially, you know, what he brings to the run game. You know, you may not
notice quitty pay out there when he is making those plays at the, at, or behind the line of
scrimmage in the run game, but you sure notice when he's not out there and that running back,
instead of getting stuck for a zero to one yard game, he's consistently going to that,
to that right side where we're quitty pay as the left end or the big end is normally,
and he's getting three to four yards of pop. You certainly notice it then. So yeah, I think it's a
good deal. You know, you're betting on the player, you're, you're betting that he's going to take
a, still a next step. And again, that trust that this, this, this team has in Quidipe. So he's,
he's just a solid player and that's perfectly fine. Most of a lot of first round picks don't even get to that level. So if you can get a solid
starter out of a first round pick, especially, you know, to the point where Pay was picked
at 21, you know, I think you take that as a win. Yeah, yeah, for sure. But coming up, guys,
we're going to talk about how this impacts the Colts' current first-round pick that they just selected,
Laatu Laatu, and also how maybe it impacts Samson Ebukom going forward.
We're going to talk about that here in just a second.

All right, Andrew, so if you hear that noise right there,
that's millions of people just typing out in our comment section saying Quiddipay sucks and you got to trade them.
And why would they ever do this? But if we can ignore those comments, we can move past to our next segment here and talking about layout to law to.
Now, I bet you and most of the people writing those comments about Quiddipay were expecting this to be the Quidipe replacement that's what laatu laatu was like quidipe well i'll be at a
solid player i mean or whatever again whatever the comments are saying there about him i'll be
in a solid player like you let that walk for the high upside player in laatu laatu and maybe you
put a dayo dango at the big end or you put ebucom at the big end or taekwon lewis out there who they
just extended as well like there are other players you could put in that role and Latu becomes your,
your long-term Leo on the other side that you're relying on a pass rushes.
But it looks like with them keeping Quidi Pei,
maybe Latu is the Ebukam replacement going forward.
And maybe it's a two-year process.
Maybe it's next year because Ebukam does have an out in his contract going
into 2025. So, you know, I think this
changes a little bit of the outlook for law too, where it's like, Oh, maybe he will be just rotating
with Abu Khan this year. And then 2025, it's his time to shine there. Yeah. It's going to be
interesting to see. And I think, I think there's so much in the air of what law two's role is going
to be because Charlie Partridge is so new to all this,
you know, so we've been used to, to Nate Ali and how he uses his rotations the past couple of
seasons. Well, Charlie Partridge could completely switch things up, you know, and, and we've seen
that Latu, not only could he rush out wide in that, that wide nine technique, you know, but,
you know, he was used at UCLA sometimes where he rushed right up the
middle in a two point stance over the guard, you know, kind of in that a standing three technique
almost. So I think you could see lot to move around. You could also see him out there with
Quiddy pay at the Leo in the NASCAR package. You could see both Abucom and lot to out there. And
then you, you say, Dio Danbo comes in inside to rush with the
Forrest Buckner. So I think they're going to be able to use him a lot, obviously throughout,
you know, OTAs throughout training camp in the preseason, that's where they're going to really
try to hone in on where to best use him. But it's, it's interesting to see, you know, they're
betting on Quiddy pay. And, and you mentioned it. Samson Ebicom has that out in his contract after this season.
You know, he's only making $8 million.
And when you're your highest, your guy, they got the most sacks for you last season.
And one of the guys that was in, I think, the top five as far as pressures last season
for the Colts is only making $8 million.
That's kind of a steal.
So it'd be interesting to see, you know, does Latu outperform Ebukam and force Ebukam into more of a reserve role? Because I think where his
contract currently sits, you know, at least from that standpoint, you know, you could see him being
a high upside, you know, reserve because let's face it, Taekwon Lewis is making, you know,
6 million a year to be in a reserve role. So it's definitely going to be interesting to see how Charlie Partridge,
how Gus Bradley really want to use Leatu Latu,
how often they put him out there.
Because, guys, I know he's the 15th overall pick,
but they're not just going to give him that starting job.
He's going to have to go out there and earn it.
And Samson Eberkamp's not just going to roll over and give that role to him either.
So it's going to be a really fierce battle in camp. Latto's still going to have to adjust a little bit to the nfl but my
bold prediction on on the horseshoe huddle podcast last night was that i think by mid-season i think
you do see layout to lotto as a full-time starter with this indian apples colts team
yeah and regardless of who the full-time starter is in the defensive line, we're talking about 60, 70% of the snaps. It's not going to be a hundred percent snap thing. Even DeForest Buckner,
who played a pretty high amount of snaps last year because of the depth behind him,
it was still like a good 70, 75, 80% at the most. So we will see a rotation up front and look,
the Colts finally have the depth to do it this upcoming season. And I think a lot of this segment
really isn't talking about this upcoming season just because
I think we're good for this upcoming season.
Like, we're good here.
We got Pei and Ebukam maybe being the base down starters.
Then you get Odengbo in there.
Maybe Taekwon Lewis rolls in there.
Latu can come in a little bit.
And you can really have a dynamic rotation there on passing downs.
But something I really want to talk about
and something I mentioned in the first segment too is with Liatu Latu coming in and with the Colts,
you know, adding this extra year to Quidipe's contract where Quidipe, again, we've established
high floor run defender. Maybe that's all he's going to be in the NFL. Maybe, you know, this is
them just securing the high floor while Latu is on his rookie deal, I'm not saying this puts more pressure
on Latu to be that star impact player on the other side. But if it is at the end of the day
where the Colts are kind of, you know, we're reserved that Quidipe is going to be Quidipe.
Like, we don't know if he's going to be much more, but Quidipe is going to be Quidipe.
On the other side, that guy needs to be an impact pass rusher then. So again, I'm not saying this
puts more pressure on Latu because he's the
first defender taken in this draft class he was taken 15th overall we know there is pressure
coming with that pick position but i do think you know like i said you can have a lot of utility
players on your team but you need the difference makers i think this quitty pay extension only
works if latu is that difference maker on the other side because that makes makes quitty pay look better. And that contract look better by default,
if you get what I'm saying there. Yeah, absolutely. And I think I think,
you know, the way the Colts have been talking, you know, since the draft, you know, they have
publicly shown that video multiple times of Chris Ballard saying we got the best effing pass rusher
in the draft. And then Chris Ballard also talked about we love quitty
pay you know we think he's a great run defender we think he can still take another step as a pass
rusher you hear gus bradley this week talk about it you know we trust quitty pay and he does his
job very very well you know it could mean that the colts are at least wanting to to see a world or a
year or two down the road where you know you, you have a lot to it that Leo,
you have quitty pay a big end, and those are your long-term starters at those two positions.
And I think if a lot to works out, you know, he, he really proves that he can be that dominant
edge presence over there and consistently get sacks, put pressure on the quarterback,
just wreak havoc in the backfield there. Then I think the Colts are, you get both those guys
long-term and then you just run with it, you the Colts are, you get both those guys long-term
and then you just run with it, you know, and you, you don't have to worry about the starters at edge.
Obviously you're still going to want to continue to add depth and continue to have those eight or
nine guys that you can continuously rotate in and out. But, you know, I think it just, it just
shows the number one, the confidence they have in Quidipe and the confidence they have in Latu.
And, and I think Charlie Partridge's ability to get the best out of Latu so he can have the type of impact that the Colts think he's capable
of doing. Yeah. And just to throw out a quick comparison here that'll rile up the comment
section too is, you know, it kind of reminds me a little bit of last year with the Texans where
John Grenard was playing some good football. It wasn't fantastic football, but some good football, you know,
steady football showing the flashes and then going into his last season on his
rookie deal, which is what pay technically was going into.
He emerged with the sack numbers. Again,
the pass rush win rate wasn't amazing, but the sack numbers came.
That's because they added Will Anderson across from the top defender taken in
that draft. I'm not saying it's a one-to-one comparison.
Obviously Latu is different from Anderson and and Pei different from Grenard,
but I do see a similar type of mold and maybe potential here in Indy with those two.
But coming up, guys, we're going to talk about the player we've left out
for most of this conversation, and that is Dayo Dangbo.
Is Dayo Dangbo the odd man out now in Indianapolis going forward?
We're going to talk about that here in just a second.
But first, guys, look, game off.
We got to pause here to talk more about Monopoly Go.
I know what you're saying, flag on the play.

All right, Andrew, so this final segment is going to tug at Kenan Kucinko's heartstrings here,
you know, Viva Jones there, whatever the heck his Twitter name is, but Kenan is going to kill
me for this segment.
We are talking Daiwa Dango. What's the long-term role or impact for Daiwa Dango in Indianapolis?
And does he have a future with this team? Because one thing I really want to point out with this segment before we kick it off is I don't think necessarily picking up Quidi Pei's option says
much about Daiwa Dango's long-term fit in Indianapolis or long-term future in
Indianapolis. But I do think taking Latu early, picking up Quidi Pei's option, giving Taekwon
Lewis a two-year extension, and extending to Forrest Buckner, all of those together might
say something about Dio Dangbo's future in Indianapolis. So before I make any more points on this, what do you think?
Do you think this is kind of pointing towards him being the odd man out?
I think it more signals, you know, you for Dio Dango,
he's got to go out and have his best season to date, you know,
because you can only this is kind of how I feel about the offensive line as well.
You can only pay so many guys, you know,
and that's why we're not talking about the offensive line. But. You can only pay so many guys, you know, and that's
why we're not talking about the offensive line, but is Will Fry's out after this year, what happens
with Ryan Kelly, you know, and it's kind of the same way with this pass rush group, because you
pick up quitty pays option, you know, you draft way out to lot to at 15, you know, those guys are
going to be out there a lot. Now, Dio Dbo is interesting in that, you know, he comes, he
comes off of a year where he had eight sacks, really seemed to have sort of a mini breakout
season, but you definitely want to see more. You want to see more consistency. You want to see,
be able to see him not only rush from the edge, but be impactful rushing from the interior because
the Colts have mentioned a couple times this offseason about you know his
versatility being able to move him into the middle i also think you know he he has some some areas to
work out with his game you know he wasn't i i i was going back through the numbers this week and
and my co it coast on the pod our colleague drake wally said you know pro football focus had his
run defense grade ranked really really low and i Drake Wally said, you know, pro football focus had his run
defense grade ranked really, really low. And I didn't really notice that, you know, I was thinking,
huh. So I went back and I looked at the three worst games that dial O'Dangbo graded out in terms
of run defense. I turned it on the film just to watch it. It checked out. He wasn't great against
the run. And that was shocking to me because you think of Dio Dango, and unless you're watching him really, really closely, you know, he's a guy that's six foot six,
270, 280 pounds, those 36 inch arms or whatever you think this guy's just going to be a menace
and wrapping up running backs. That wasn't the case in 2023. So while he took a jump
in his ability to rush the passer, he's almost like he took a step back in his ability to defend
the run. So I think the Colts just want to see a more well-rounded Dio Danbo. And I do think that
I don't think that I agree with you, Zach. I don't think that picking up pays option means that
this is Dio necessarily Dio's last season with the Colts, but I do think the Colts want to see
more out of Dio Danbo going into year four, know second round pick you you've had multiple chances now go out there show what you can do and show that you can be a
vital part of this defensive line for years to come you know and if he goes out there and just
absolutely dominates then yeah I think the Colts I mean it's going to be pricey but I think the
Colts would try what they can to bring him back otherwise if he struggles this season then I think
you're thinking the Colts are going to say, you know, go test the market. And then when you see what
you're worth, come back to us and then we'll talk. So I think a lot of this again is up to
Dio Dangbo and it's up to how the Colts use him throughout the year. Is he going to just be
strictly a backup big end or do we see him more inside as, as, as that kind of that one technique
on the rushing downs or the obvious
passing downs you know so it's going to be interesting to see but i think you know dio
denbo definitely has more to prove and it's definitely if we're going to put anyone on the
hot seat you know i think he's right up there with samson ebicom in terms of what his role is down the
line with this team yeah yeah for sure and something i want to point out too is mike chapel
one of the best guys on the beat, the OG in the building.
He's been here for, heck, 30-something years.
He's been on the beat longer than I've been alive, guys.
So Chappie has been around for a while.
He mentioned multiple times on social media this week,
and I only saw him because they were both responding to me in tweets
or, like, quote-tweeting me on there.
So that's why these really came to mind.
But every time I talked about the Colts potentially picking up Quidipe's option or,
you know, actually picking up Quidipe's option, he would always mention the Quidipe versus
Dio Dango, you know, that the Colts, you know, what happens with the other one if they pick up,
if they pick up or don't pick up, you know, Quidipe's option or what happens there.
And, you know, Chappie's been around for a while. He knows what this team does. He knows Jim Ursae. He talks to Jim Ursae quite a bit. So I don't know if
that's more of like a source thing talking to him, but I think it's him kind of inferring that
it was one or the other. And I'm not fully there with Chappie. I'm not 100% there, but
I do think that it could be coming down to that because what I know about the Colts and what I
know about Chris Ballard is they don't have a hard allocation of cap space per position group, but they
have a rough one.
They have a fairly rough.
That's why you see on offensive line, once they paid, you know, they quit Nelson.
Once they paid Ryan Kelly, once they paid Brandon Smith, it became rookies that left
tackle or lower paid guys that left tackle.
And then rookies are lower paid guys at right guard because they already allocated so much money they're not going to keep allocating more and more money i do think
in the trenches the colts are more willing to allocate more and more money than they would be
at like corner and safety and stuff which we've obviously seen with the depth chart going into
this next season uh but i do think when you look at the contracts they have going forward you know
again tycon lewis is locked up through 2025.
Quitty Pay now is making 13 million in 2025.
DeForest Buckner through 2025, up to 2026, I believe with his.
Grover Stewart up to 2026 with his.
Like these guys are all locked in with pretty substantial contracts.
Like we're not talking like $1 million per year contracts.
We're talking 10 plus million dollars in some cases.
We're talking close to it. Or since Abu Qam is in here for 2025, technically still at $8 million a
year. So I think when you look at all that money there, like where is Dio's money? Where like,
even if he has a solid season, like a solid season rushing the passer in the NFL is close to $10
million per year. Like it may be eight, nine, 10.
I mean, that's what Abu Khan coming off a decent season or whatever with the 49ers,
the Colts gave him what three years, 30 million with that, or three years, 24 million with
that, like a good 8 million per year in there.
And Dio, if he has just a solid season, going to get close to that, where is his money with
the Colts?
I don't know where it is.
Again, you can move some things around. You can let Ebukam walk and you can really take advantage of
Anthony Richardson's rookie contract by extending a guy like Dio Dingbo because you have that
flexibility. But I do think there are other avenues that on this team that they're going
to want to extend. I think, you know, one of Will Frieser, Ryan Kelly probably takes precedent
over that because of the offensive line. So I just think, you know, where is his money going to come from regardless of what season
he has?
Obviously, if he has this monster season, I don't know where that money's coming from.
You really move a lot of things around if he does.
And maybe you just make it work because monster season is a monster season.
But I don't know.
I'm very intrigued by what happens with Dio D'Angelo because it's not only that they already are paying multiple guys on the roster, but they have a lot of players that can play his role.
Again, Taequann Lewis can rush from the interior. DeForest Buckner is a three tech, and that's mostly where D'Angelo rolls out there.
If you want to start him at big end, they just gave Quidipe the option.
If you want to have a young player with upside you have at a tomy on the roster there
uh you have lot to can rush on the inside at two nearly 270 pounds as well so i think it's tough
finding his long-term fit i love dio dangbo i think his past rushing upside is besides
deforest buckner and lotto obviously i think it's unmatched on this roster because the flashes we
get are truly elite but But like you said,
it needs to be more well-rounded. The reason why they picked up Quiddie Payne's option
is because his run defense is so good and they don't feel that comfortable about Odengbo's rush
defense to have him be a starter on the ends. So I think this is a huge year for him, regardless of
it's with the Colts going forward or with another team. But yeah, I mean, Odengbo, it's a big
conversation piece going into this year.
I think, like you said, it's kind of like him and like Will Fries are like they need
to have big seasons to get extensions or get their money from someone else after this year.
Yeah.
And you think about it, too, you know, very, very well could be possible that Dio D'Angelo
has to at least match what he did last season or go above that while potentially getting
a little bit less snaps because you know Laatu Laatu is going to eat into those snaps he's going
to eat into everybody's snaps because you want to get your number 15 overall player out on the field
because you are investing so much into this player you think he can be that dominant edge rusher for
you that the Colts really haven't had
in the Chris Ballard area really the Colts haven't had since Robert Mathis you want him to be get out
on the field and what does Chris Ballard always say these guys the only way they get better is by
playing you know those live reps he's seen it multiple times with the with the pass rush
sending out pay and Odango now with the cornerback group and Brents and Jones, the safety group with cross, you know, they're going to want to play a lot too and, and try to
get him as many snaps as possible. So he continued to develop. And if that's the case, you know,
Dai Odango is his snaps are going to eat into that. So yeah, it's, it's going to be very
interesting because I, if he does go out there and ball out, I think the Colts, no way they're
going to let him to walk but you know
how much money is is going to be there so if you can get him for about if he goes out has a great
season you can still get him for about 10 million i think that's probably the absolute max that the
colts would end up trying to dish out for a dang bow and it's 10 million per year yeah yeah one
thing i will say though before we get out here for the day is all these concerns are for 2025.
All I can say about 2024 with this defensive line is it's going to be fun.
It's going to be fun.
As long as these guys can stay healthy.
We have three defensive tackles that can defend the run now.
We have Raekwon Davis in here, which we haven't talked about.
He can defend the run, which is awesome.
We have a bunch of pass rushers coming off the edge.
We've got some young guys in like Isaiah land and at a told me as well.
It's going to be fun this year with the Colts pass rush group up front.
Our concerns mostly were about 2025 and going forward,
but for 2024,
it's going to be a blast in the trenches.
